A Supergirl and Doctor Who crossover that I thought of. Based after Doctor Who Season 4 ended with the Time Lord popping up now and again during Supergirl's seasons.
What happens when the Kyptonian who lives in National City meets the Time Lord who lives in a blue Police Box? Things are going to become far more interesting for these two.
Chapter 1;
Space, May 16, 1979:
Deep within the Phantom Zone, a small silver spaceship was floating but was still. Inside the small ship was a small blonde haired girl, she was sleeping; unaware of where she was. The Phantom Zone was quiet until the sounds of something unusual flew nearby. The strange humming sounds came from a flying 1960's Police Box, it was flying towards the floating ship until it stopped, a yellow ring then appeared around the still ship. Moments later, the Police Box slowly flew forward with the stranded ship shortly following behind.
Inside the Police Box, was something beyond science; there was a huge yellow and green room with a huge console in the centre with six panels. There were levers, switches, dials, buttons and cables on every panel, along with a single small computer screen. Running around the console was a single man; he was wearing a blue pinstripe suit, a crimson shirt and red Converse trainers. He had medium length, brown spiky hair and dark brown eyes as he looked at the computer monitor.
"How did a ship like you get stuck in the Phantom Zone?" The man asked as he turned a dial and pushed up a lever. "Right! Let's see where you are from, you little beauty!" The man exclaimed as he flipped up three small switches and rotated a lever to the left. "Krypton? This ship's from Krypton? That's interesting!" The man's straight face changed to a smile as he ran around to another panel and flipped more switches and pushed more buttons. "Let's see where you're meant to be going, shall we?" He ran back over to the monitor and read the results. "Earth? Always Earth." The man sighed as he fell backwards and sat in a chair behind him. "Best take this ship close to Earth then let it go. Next stop for me; a trip to 1969 to see the Moon Landing." The man smiled as he pulled a lever, causing the two ships to speed up towards Earth. "ALLONS-Y!" The man shouted as he pushed a blue button; causing the yellow ring around the Kryptionian ship to fade and allowing it to fall to Earth. "Looks like it will crash in Midvale; sounds interesting." The man smiled as he pulled down another lever, causing the flying Police Box to fade away.
Earth, Midvale; December 15, 2003:
Moments later, the blue Police Box reappeared on the ground. The front door opened and out stepped the man in the suit, he was now wearing a long brown trench coat over his suit.
"Going by the scans and my maths, the spaceship should be crashing over there⦠now." Just as the mystery man finished talking, the Kryptonian ship crash landed. The man in the suit was about to run over to the ship when a man in red and blue flew in, he tore the roof off then tossed it to the right. The man then picked up the little girl then flew away, leaving the ship behind. "Let's have a look at you, you little beauty." The stranger ran over then climbed inside the ship, he reached into his jacket pocket then took out a small white and beige device with a blue light on top. "Ships passenger: Kara Zor-El. Daughter to Zor-El and Alura Zor-El, cousin to Kal-El. Sent to Earth to protect her baby cousin Kal-El." The man read as he put the device back inside his jacket. "Something tells me that me and Kara Zor-El will be seeing each other again." The man spoke as he climbed out of the ship then walked over to the Police Box.
"What were you doing near that ship?" The man in the suit turned around to see the man in red and blue, his red cape flapping in the wind.
"I was interested in it. I was curious to know what I helped out of the Phantom Zone." The mystery man answered. "I'll make you a deal; I'll tell you who I am if you tell me who you are." The man in the suit offered as he held out his hand.
"People call me Superman." Superman answered as he walked over and shook the mystery man's hand.
"The Doctor; it's what everyone I meet calls me." The Doctor answered and Superman nodded. "Like you, I'm not from Earth." The Doctor told him then Superman looked at him; he was using his X-Ray vision on him.
"Two hearts?" Superman was surprised and The Doctor smiled. "Where are you from?" The hero asked as The Doctor leant against the Police Box.
"Gallifrey. I'm a Time Lord; the last of the Time Lords." The Doctor answered which caught Superman off guard. "And I'm guessing by how protective you are of the ship, you're from Krypton. As well as being Kal-El; Kara Zor-El's cousin." The Doctor suggested and Superman nodded.
"Did you really help Kara get here?" Kal-El asked and The Doctor nodded with a smile as he put his hands in his pockets. "Thank you, Doctor. I owe you one." Kal-El thanked as he walked over and held out his hand. The Doctor smiled then shook Kal-El's hand.
"I'll see you around, Superman." The Doctor waved as he opened the door of the Police Box, giving Superman a chance to see the inside. "Time Lord science made this beauty: my TARDIS." The Doctor told him and allowed Kal-El to have a look inside the ship. "Time And Relative Dimension In Space; allows me to go to anyplace and anytime." The Doctor explained and Kal-El looked around the control room.
"It's truly amazing. And I thought Kryptonian science and technology was amazing!" Kal-El exclaimed and it made The Doctor smile. "I gotta go; got people to save. I hope we meet again, Doctor." Kal-El smiled as the pair shook hands before Superman flew into the sky.
"See you again, Kal-El." The Doctor smiled as he waved at the sky. The Time Lord then walked into his TARDIS and closed the door. Moments later, the lantern on the Police Box started to flicker with a yellow light as the engines roared, causing the Police Box to fade away.
National City, 2012:
A few years had gone by, and the Kryptionian Kara Zor-El was now called Kara Danvers. She and her adopted sister, Alex Danvers, were looking for a place for Kara to live but all the places they had found were expensive.
"It's hard to find a cheap place here. I should just go back to Midvale and see if the local paper will hire me." Kara suggested but Alex shook her head.
"You'll find a good place, Kara. Just have a bit of hope." Alex told her sister as they sat down on a bench in the park.
"Excuse me, I heard you were looking for a place." The two women looked up to see a man in a plain blue suit with a red t-shirt and red Converse trainers, along with a brown trench coat. "John Smith." The man introduced himself as he held out his hand.
"Kara, Kara Danvers. And this is my sister, Alex." Kara introduced themselves as they stood up. "Do you know any place cheap? I'm looking for somewhere as I've got a job interview and I currently live with my sister." Kara explained then John Smith reached into his right pocket on his blazer and took out a set of keys.
"I'm moving away with a friend, and I thought I might be kind and give you, my place." John explained as he smiled. The two sisters looked at each other then they looked at John Smith.
"Can we see the place before we give an answer?" Alex asked and John nodded with a smile. He then escorted them to a block of apartments to show them the place he was selling.
The Loft:
The three walked into the loft and Kara started to look around, she was impressed with everything while Alex spoke to John Smith.
"What made you want to give away your place, Mister Smith?" Alex asked as she looked at the smartly dressed man.
"Ever heard of someone who just wants to be kind?" John asked which made Alex look at him. John Smith then looked over at Kara, who was looking out the window near the bedroom. "It's all yours, if you want it. I can even let you keep the furniture." He offered which surprised Kara and Alex even more.
"Are you sure you just want to give it to me?" Kara asked as she walked over to the mystery man. John nodded with a smile as he reached inside his blazer pocket and held out the keys.
"Here's the keys." John told Kara as Alex walked over and stood next to her sister.
"It is a nice place. And it's near ," Alex pointed out and Kara nodded as she loved the loft. "Thank you for this, Mister Smith." Alex thanked as Kara accepted the keys.
"It's my pleasure, Miss Danvers." John Smith smiled as he put his hands into his trouser pockets. "I'll leave you to get comfortable. My number is on the fridge, if you ever want to meet up for a coffee." He added and the two sisters nodded.
"See you around, Mister Smith!" Kara called over as John out of the loft, leaving Kara and Alex to relax in Kara's new place.
Meanwhile, outside in an alley, John Smith was walking towards a mysterious blue 1960s Police Box. He snapped his fingers as the doors opened, revealing a huge room on the inside. John Smith walked inside and the doors closed behind, he took off his trench coat and flew it over the railings near the giant console.
"I didn't like lying to them about who I am, but it was for a good reason." John Smith sighed as he sat on the chair and looked at the console. "Okay old girl, let's go and see the Martian!" He exclaimed as he jumped up and pulled a lever, causing the machine to roar to life. On the outside, the Police Box light was flickering a yellow light as it faded away.
This is the end of chapter 1 and only the start of something both amazing and interesting. Bit of a heads up as over the seasons of Supergirl, Kara and the teams will meet other versions of The Doctor. So the 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th.
I look forward to hearing your opinions about my new fanfic.
