It's been about a month ever since Anna, along with the help of a mountain lover named Kristoff, his reindeer Sven, and a talking snowman named Olaf, went on the most epic adventurous journey to find Elsa so they can bring her home to set things right and save Arendelle from the curse that was unleashed, blanketing the kingdom into an endless and eternal winter, freezing all its inhabitants into blocks of ice. If it weren't for her uncontrollable anxiety and raging emotions, she would've let the darkness consume her, her mind twisted and warped by fear.
But thanks to the bravery and determination of her youngest sister Anna, they were able to reconcile their feelings, but due to unexpected twists and turns, and Anna nearly being frozen to death and brought back by Elsa's love and sadness, since she and Anna were the only family members left, she finally got the ability to control her emotions and was finally able to bring summer back to Arendelle.
Even though some people were skeptical about Elsa's sorcery of ice magic, she's been a little bit on-edge lately, but was able to find peace within herself.
And on top of that, Elsa made their new friend Kristoff a part of their kingdom and official ice picker, but somehow noticed that he and Anna had feelings for each other, which she accepted. But overall, Anna was happy to have her big sister back in her life.
Inside the castle, Anna was asleep in her room wearing her green nightgown, snoring and drooling on the bed, when there was a knock on her door.
"Princess Anna?" Kai's voice asked.
"Huh?"
"Princess Anna?"
Anna sat up, as her eyes were still closed and her hair was all messed up, "Yeah? Who is it?"
"Sorry to wake you, ma'am but..."
"No, no, no. You didn't do anything wrong," she yawned with her eyes still closed, until she stretched her arms and back, as a soft popping sound was heard. And then she opened her eyes.
"Ma'am, I believe that you are scheduled to go with your sister to the orphanage for a visit, assuming I am correct?" Kai asked.
Anna suddenly tripped herself off the bed, which startled her in the process. She then popped up in a shock, "THAT'S TODAY?! HOW COULD I POSSIBLY FORGET?!"
She then went over to wash her face and brush her hair, before heading over to her wardrobe to decide on which one of her dresses she should wear, before she thought about wearing her dress from Elsa's coronation a month ago.
After she put it on, she tied her hair up into a bun and placed the finishing touches by adjourning the two green ribbons on the back of her head, and then applied her makeup on.
Earlier this week, she and her sister, Elsa had just gotten a letter from the headmistress of the orphanage, Mrs. Borsheim, for a very special visit because the children there wanted to see them both. They were able to make a few arrangements to visit the children in the orphanage. After all, it was just a simple visit to see the children, and maybe have them ask some questions about themselves and what they like to do in their own free time, and hopefully they get to play with the children.
Speaking of which, Elsa sat quietly in the palace library, seated comfortably on a sofa with both her legs crossed in the front of a long, square, mahogany table, her eyes focused on a book she was reading.
From out of nowhere, a knock on one of the doors was heard, revealing Anna standing at one side of it.
"Oh! Anna, I didn't notice you were standing there," Elsa said.
Anna then walked over, until a wide smirk played on her lips and both her arms folded tightly against her chest.
"Guess what today is?" Anna asked in an eager tone.
"What?" Elsa asked, before she suddenly realized what she and Anna were scheduled for today. "Oh! That's today? Our visit to the orphanage?"
"Yes! Don't tell me you forgot too! I honestly almost forgot about it too!" Anna playfully whined, before she saw Elsa's look that was the opposite of happiness in her eyes.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Anna asked, sitting next to her sister.
"Nothing's wrong, Anna. It's just… I'm just a little bit nervous," Elsa replied.
"What's to be nervous about?" Anna asked. "It'll just be a building full of sweet little kids wanting to play with you, and me as well."
"Well, I did freeze Arendelle by accident. I just don't know what the children there will think of me," Elsa said, still not feeling sure.
Anna then placed her hands on Elsa's, and they looked at each other in the eyes, "Don't worry. I feel the same way as you do, but I'm sure that they'll love you. Plus, we'll be going together. Remember?"
Elsa then nodded, "I'm really glad to have you by my side, Anna. You always know how to make me feel better."
"Hey, what're sisters for?" Anna asked.
"Thanks, Anna. I feel a little better now." she replied softly. The two of them started hugging each other and remained that way for a while before eventually pulling each other back.
"Okay… I think I'm good now. Let's get going." she declared, before they got off the couch.
Elsa and Anna then made their way to the foyer, before greeting some of the guards and servants that work for them, until they both stepped outside, walking into what appeared to be a beautiful sunny day in Arendelle. Since the orphanage wasn't too far, but a couple blocks away, they decided to walk on foot over to the orphanage.
As they arrived, they both looked at what appeared to be a big house the size of a school or a tavern of some sort, but looks a little bit worn out.
Elsa then knocked on the door, until it opened up, revealing the owner of the orphanage.
She was an overweight and middle-aged woman who was shorter than her average height, with long and red hair put up in a beehive with some gray lines and faded red lines, waves of wrinkles on her face, brown eyes underneath a pair of red tinted glasses, and wearing a midnight blue wool jacket over a white blouse and a violet red skirt underneath, beige nylons and blackish brown shoes. She greeted her majesties with a smile and a curtsy.
"Your Majesty, Your Highness." she said, bowing down to them, as it was an appropriate way to address royalty. "So glad to know that you've accepted my invitation." she complimented.
"Please, ma'am. The pleasure is all ours," Elsa said, smiling warmly. "I assume you are the owner of the orphanage, Mrs. Borsheim?"
"Why, of course! Now, the children should be in the playroom right now, so you're welcome to come in and meet them," Mrs. Borsheim said, stepping aside to let the sisters inside.
"Thank you. That's very kind of you," Anna said, as she and Elsa stepped inside.
As they entered the orphanage, they looked to see that the inside was far more cheery than the outer exterior. The walls had paints of different shades of light grayish blue, crimson red, and pine green. There were various genres of books stacked on tall or small bookshelves, and a big table to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Children, small and tall, were playing with each other with doll houses with dolls, rocking horses, wooden boats included a playset of Noah's ark train sets, yo-yos, marbles, tea sets, quoits, stuffed animals, blocks, balls by rolling them, pop guns, and spinning tops.
"Children! Look who's here!" Mrs. Brosheim said, calling to the children in the playroom.
As they heard their owner call to them and turned to their guests, all of them rose up and approached Elsa and Anna. The girls curtseyed and the boys bowed to greet both the queen and her younger sister.
"Aww, such polite children," Elsa said, as she and Anna were adoring their manners.
"Well, they do know how to behave towards and address royalty, Your Majesty." Mrs. Brosheim said, feeling proud of herself. She then made her way towards the children. "Now, all of you treat the queen and princess with chivalry, understood?"
"Yes, Mrs. Brosheim," they said in reply.
After that, many of the children approached Queen Elsa and Princess Anna and practically dragged both of them separately away to play with them. Mrs. Brosheim however tried to get them in order for a headcount just to see how many were in the room in total, but they were too ecstatic to keep track of. Upon realizing that they won't do anything too rash to Queen Elsa or Princess Anna, she decided just to let them be, knowing as they can behave themselves, as far as she knew.
Some of the children started throwing questions at mainly Elsa, as she knelt down to hear their questions, while a few girls stole Anna away to play dolls or have a tea party with them, and by the looks of it, she didn't mind at all.
As she happily stared at the children playing with Anna and Elsa, Mrs. Brosheim frowned a bit, with a small feeling of worry in her mind.
It looked like one of the orphans was missing, since she couldn't find him anywhere.
'He's probably upstairs,' she thought to herself. So, she turned around and walked upstairs to find the orphan that was missing.
Once she arrived at one of the rooms, she turned towards the bed, and… there he was, rubbing his eyes in sadness. He had a frown on his face. It was a 7 year old boy a small boy with brown ruffled hair, brown eyes and wearing a red long sleeve wool knit cardigan sweater that looked a little bit too big for him and held by a strap around his waist and buckled with silver buttons, bluish gray trousers, black and white woolen socks and a pair of brown leather shoes.
"Fievel?" Mrs. Brosheim asked, as the poor boy turned to her.
"Oh, hi, Mrs. Brosheim," he greeted. Mrs. Brosheim approached him and sat down next to him.
"What's the matter, bubby?" she asked.
"It's hard to explain," Fievel answered, not feeling sure what to tell her.
"Awwwwww… that's okay, sweet-pea. I understand that it's still hard for you," Mrs. Brosheim said.
"I…I was…trying to make a friend… ever since you took me in, but… no one wanted… to be my friend," he whimpered, looking on the floor with shame. The old woman sighed and shook her head.
"Oh, Fievel. You know that you should keep trying, because I don't want to see you all alone feeling mopey," she said as she approached him.
"But most of the other kids don't want to play with me. I… I…" he replied, looking at her with a pleading look. Miss Bonita nodded and knelt to the floor.
"I know, sweet-pea. But…. that frown won't help," she said, taking his left hand.
"Remember, some of the kids may want to be friends with you, if you let them get to know you. Because I know you can do better," Mrs. Brosheim said. "Plus, I even saw you play with a few, which I'm proud of."
"I know…" he whimpered. Mrs. Brosheim looked at him as she gently cupped his left cheek.
"It may seem like I'm saying this to punish you, but I'm not. I'm just saying this because I care about you. I don't want you to feel like you don't belong here. Maybe try to find hope or some confidence, and just maybe, you'll fit right in. Do you understand?" she asked.
"I…I just wish that I… . I just…" he whimpered out, tears threatening to spill out. Mrs. Brosheim nodded, before bringing the poor boy for a hug.
"I miss them, Mrs. Brosheim. I miss them so much…" Fievel said, as he buried himself into her stomach.
"I know, sweetie. But that's over now," she assured with a soft smile, comforting the boy.
After a while of hugging, they pulled back, and Mrs. Brosheim smiled.
"By the way, Queen Elsa and her sister, Princess Anna are here. You should be in the playroom with them and the others." she said with a smile. Fievel sat up and approached her.
"I…I don't know if I can. I'm…still a bit too scared to go and meet them. But what if they don't like me?" he explained, looking at the owner in concern. Mrs. Brosheim nodded.
"I know, sweet pea. But remember what I said; keep calm, stick with me, and you'll be fine. But I'm sure they'll love to meet you," she assured softly. Fievel frowned, but he knew that Mrs. Brosheim wasn't going to let this go. So, in defeat, he hopped off the bed and looked at her.
"Will you be there next to me?" he asked. Mrs. Brosheim nodded as she took his hand into hers.
"Come on. Let's go meet them," she cooed softly, just before she gently led him out of the room.
Meanwhile, back in the playroom, many of the kids continued playing with the queen and princess.
"Is is true, Queen Elsa? Do you have icy powers?" a boy asked excitedly.
"Yes, I do," she replied.
"Can you freeze anything?" another asked.
"Well, yes, but if I use love instead of fear and hatred," she answered.
"Can you make it snow in here? Please?" a girl asked.
"I want to make a snowman!" another boy asked.
Elsa laughed, admiring the curiosity of the children. She answered a few more simple questions but one at a time, until she made a few snowflakes dance around for fun which made them cheer happily, and then colored with the children.
Anna, however, was giving one of the girls one of her favorite hairstyles, while she continued playing tea party with them and their dolls, and having a few tickle fights.
They seemed to be enjoying themselves being in the company of these children, since they were very sweet and had polite manners.
Then, Mrs. Brosheim's voice came up from behind them.
"Excuse me, your majesties, but I believe that there is someone else who wants to join you," she said. Once Anna heard this, she then turned to Mrs. Brosheim and saw a peculiar little boy looking at both Anna and Elsa. It was Fievel.
"Hey," Anna said, getting Elsa's attention, until she turned to Anna, then looked at Fievel hiding behind Mrs. Brosheim.
"Awwww… who's this?" Anna asked, walking over to Fievel's direction, before she knelt down to his level. Elsa stood next to her, getting a look at him.
"Hi there, little one. Who are you?" she asked warmly, her hand reaching out to gently caress his little head. Fievel, however, stepped back in fear, firmly but gently grasping Mrs. Brosheim's skirt. Anna and Elsa looked at him in concern. Mrs. Brosheim then shook her head.
"I'm sorry about that, your highnesses. He's just very scared." she explained, gently caressing his hair. Anna frowned, while Elsa looked at him in concern but curiosity.
"Why? I won't hurt him," Anna explained, before looking at Fievel.
"He has anxiety about meeting strangers," Mrs. Brosheim explained.
Fievel suddenly walked away from the adults so that he could be alone, wrapped in a blue blanket and hugging a stuffed animal from the toy chest, but suddenly, three orphan boys with sinister grins surrounded him.
"Get a load of this, huh?" an orphan boy, wearing a hat asked.
"Hey, kid, you're sittin' in my spot of the playroom," another boy, with glasses said.
"Huh?" Fievel asked, looking at the bullies.
"Hey, gimme that!" the boy with glasses took the blanket and stuffed animal away from Fievel.
"Got nothing funny to say, huh?"
"Alright kid, what's your story?" a pudgy boy asked, grabbing Fievel by his cardigan, lifting him up, balling his fist, about to pummel him.
Fievel then stammered, "Uhh… uhh… I saw Queen Elsa and Princess Anna."
The boy in the hat snickered, "Hey, you hear that, fellas? He's scared of Queen Elsa and Princess Anna!"
They then started mocking him in sing song voice, "He's scared of the queen and princess! He's scared of the queen and princess!"
They then started laughing.
"That snowstorm was a long time ago. And everyone's forgiven the queen and all that."
"At least you knew who your parents were, huh? Probably disappointed that they had a kid who's nothing but a big coward!"
"Yeah!"
"And don't bother with them anyway. You should probably be glad that they want nothing to do with you!"
"They don't care. Forget it."
That stung Fievel in the heart, as he started whimpering.
Suddenly, Mrs. Brosheim stood for him, but got really mad.
"BOYS!" she shouted, scaring the three bullies. "Don't think you can try to get out of it now! You are in big trouble, boys!"
Without thinking, Fievel got up and dashed away from the playroom, passing Anna and Elsa.
"Hey! Wait!" Anna said, but Fievel ignored her as he continued running from her. "Please, please, wait." Anna and Elsa then stopped, as they heard Fievel running upstairs, before the sound of a bedroom door being slammed shut.
Anna turned around, glaring at the three orphans. "Who do you three think you are?!"
"I must say, I too am very disappointed in your behavior. I honestly have no idea why he was scared of us, but even if he is shy around strangers, that's no way to treat other children younger or older than you," Elsa said, in a scolding tone, but managed to keep her emotions in control, since her ice magic is controlled by her emotions. "You three have a lot to think about."
Anna and Elsa then went to Mrs. Brosheim, who felt guilty for bringing Fievel into the room, but realized she didn't think carefully about how he truly felt about meeting their guests.
"How long has it been like this?" Anna asked. Mrs. Brosheim tried to remember how many weeks it was, until it came back to her.
"It's been about 3 or 4 weeks after the Eternal Winter, but I've been trying to find ways to fix this issue he's been having." she explained.
"I see." Anna said, before looking at the direction Fievel went. With a sigh, she then looked at the owner again.
"Where is his room?" Anna asked Mrs. Brosheim, before Elsa followed, knowing what she was thinking.
"It's upstairs on the second floor, behind the door to the right, but at the far end. Why do you ask?" Mrs. Brosheim asked curiously.
"If it's alright with you, Elsa and I are going to go talk to him," Anna replied.
Mrs. Brosheim felt unsure, but turned to Elsa. "Your majesty, just to let you and your sister know, he's very sensitive, and he may not want to talk with you. Because… he's been through a lot," she said. Anna stopped for a moment and stared at her.
"I know what I'm doing. That boy probably needs someone to talk to," she said.
"I'm afraid Anna is right. Plus, I'd like to get to know him as well," Elsa said.
Mrs. Brosheim then realized what they meant. "You're right. Just please do your best. I've tried everything."
Anna nodded, until she started making her way upstairs, with Elsa following behind. Mrs. Brosheim starting hoping that they could help Fievel feel happy again.
Back inside the bedroom, Fievel was covering himself with his bedsheets and blankets, crying to himself with his head buried underneath his arms.
He was still scared of what Elsa and Anna would think of him, but his pain and suffering alienated him from the other kids. His sadness or timidity was why he never had any friends, or at least that's what he thought it was. Not only that, but the hurtful words from those three bullies still hurt him.
But all of a sudden, Fievel started to hear the sound of footsteps approaching to the room, until he heard the sound of knocking on the door. He then covered himself up more, and hid underneath his pillow with his arms still burying his head, but the door was somehow opened slightly. He was expectedly hoping it would be Mrs. Brosheim, but instead he heard a different but familiar voice calling to him.
"Hello?" Elsa's voice asked, as Fievel tried to stay quiet so they wouldn't hear him, until the two sisters entered the room.
"Sweetheart? Are you in here?" Anna asked softly, as she and Elsa looked around the beds.
Elsa suddenly saw one of the beds covering something underneath, and heard whimpering from there too.
"Anna," she said, beckoning her sister to look at the bed that was shaking, noticing that it was Fievel hiding underneath the blankets.
Anna then knelt down to see closely, until she saw some of his tear-filled eyes, "Oh! There you are."
Fievel then hid his face again, until Anna saw how scared he was, "Aww, poor baby."
Without giving up, Anna and Elsa then carefully walked closer to Fievel's bed to talk to him, until Elsa knelt down to look at him while Elsa remained standing but bent over with her hands on her knees.
"Hey. Hey, sweetheart. You wanna come out from under there?" Elsa asked, until Fievel shook his head in reply.
Anna then thought of something, before she asked, "Do you know who I am?"
Fievel nodded in reply, until she introduced herself, "My name is Anna. What's yours?"
"It's Fievel. Fievel Myklebust," he replied loud enough for them to hear.
"Fievel. That's a cute name," Anna said. "This is my sister, Elsa. Do you recognize her?" Fievel nodded in reply as he was still whimpering.
Elsa then looked at him gently without scaring him, before placing her hand on his small form, "It's alright now, dear. I promise no one's here to hurt you anymore. We just want to talk to you."
Fievel stared and analyzed them for a moment, while hiding underneath his blankets.
They didn't seem to be threatening as he thought they would. Looking closely into their eyes, he didn't feel any signs of hostility, resentment, anger… or almost no negative emotions. It was just nothing but pure kindness and warmth. So, after noticing that they didn't want to hurt him, Fievel slowly uncovered himself from his bedsheets, and then sat up, turned around and wiped his eyes, until Anna and Elsa felt pleased that he could trust them now.
"Y-Your majesty, your highness… I…" he stammered, but Anna approached him and reached her arms out. He flinched away, thinking again that she was going to hit him… but instead, he felt her fingers rubbing against his cheek, wiping away the tears from his eyes.
"Please, Fievel. Just call me Anna for now," she cooed softly. Fievel looked at her, noticing a warm, loving smile on her face. She then sat down next to him and gave a smile, while Elsa did the same while kneeling on the floor.
"You can call me Elsa for now too," she said.
Fievel then looked at them again. "I'm sorry about what happened earlier. I… I didn't mean…" he whimpered as he sat next to her, tears streaming slowly. Anna felt her heart drop, seeing the boy like this. Without thinking, she gently pulled Fievel into a hug.
"Shh shh shh shhhhhh… It's okay, Fievel. We're not mad at you, honey," she cooed softly. Fievel whimpered in her hold while looking at her, not returning the hug, but he somehow couldn't reject her embrace either. So he just sat there, allowing Anna to hold him. Elsa stroked his shoulder with one hand and both his hands with the other.
"We understand. You were just scared, but it's okay to be scared sometimes," Elsa said.
After a while, Anna pulled her head back, as Fievel looked down in sadness as he laid his head on her arm, and hugged it too. Anna then though of an idea.
"Here, sit on my lap," Anna suggested sweetly, rubbing har hand on her lap. After Elsa stood up, Anna then unwrapped her arms from Fievel, allowing him to crawl closer to her, until he lowered himself on her lap, until Anna started wrapping her arms around him again, before Elsa sat next to her sister.
"Feel comfy?" Anna asked, receiving another nod from Fievel, as she stroked his hand.
Anna then thought of something, "Sweetie? Could you tell us about yourself, like why you were upset earlier?"
"It's kinda hard to explain. I don't like talking about it much," Fievel said.
"Don't worry, dear. We want to help you," Elsa said.
"Well, the truth is… my family and I came from a village somewhere not far from Arendelle," Fievel explained.
"Really?" Anna asked.
Fievel nodded, "But all of a sudden, our homes were destroyed by the Great Britain-French armies."
"Are you talking about a war against another country?" Elsa asked, as Fievel nodded. "Oh my… so then what happened next?"
"But we then moved here to Arendelle to get away from it all, and start a new life together," Fievel said. "But then the Eternal Winter came, and…" he then started getting more sad.
"Then what happened?" Anna asked.
"I… I…" Fievel stammered, but couldn't say it, before Elsa and Anna realized what he meant, with looks of heartbreak, sadness and concern.
"Are you saying that… you lost your family… in the Eternal Winter?" Anna asked, until Fievel nodded.
"When the snow hit, they started getting colder, and worse, they started getting sick, except we barely had enough firewood and supplies. After a few days, it got more cold, and when I came back with firewood…" Fievel said, but he felt like he couldn't say the rest.
"Oh my gosh… that's terrible," Elsa said, feeling sorry for his loss, but keeping her sadness in control.
"I tried to help them, but I… I… couldn't save them," he whimpered, biting his lip as more tears began streaming down from his eyes, until he broke down and started to cry.
"Aww, come here," Anna cooed, as she immediately pulled him into another hug, kissing the top of his head and rubbing her fingers on his head, stroking his hair, before Fievel laid his head on her chest with his arms curled and burying his face, while Elsa comforted her sister in a hug as well, and stroked one of Fievel's shoulders. As she comforted him, Anna looked down at him, and suddenly began to think of what she should do to help him.
Although they just got reconciled from the snow, Anna realized Elsa was still trying to reconcile with the other people in Arendelle. But what made things worse was that now that she knew that there was a little boy who lost everything he loved: his village due to war, and his family frozen to death during the pandemic, and now living in a miserable life with no friends to look after him. Anna still didn't know what to do.
After an idea came to her mind, and looking down at Fievel, who was still buried in her chest, the young princess knew what to do. But she knew that she was not ready for this task yet, even though she was still too young and didn't have any experience with it.
'I can't leave him here and have him be miserable forever. I guess it looks like I have no choice,' Anna thought to herself. She then closed her eyes and exhaled through her nose.
She then gently tapped Fievel's back, making him look up at her.
"Sweetie, do you… want to stay with me?" she asked.
Fievel's brows rose as he pulled his head back, after wiping the tears off his eyes and sniffing.
"W-What?" he asked. Anna nodded.
"I want to adopt you. You can't stay here in this place anymore. I want to help you grow up into a better person." she said.
"D-Does… Does that mean…?" Fievel asked, but Anna nodded again as she placed her hand on his cheek.
"Of course. Elsa and I will help you out with your personal problems," she confirmed as a warm smile grew on her face. Fievel's heart suddenly fluttered at her suggestion, leaving Elsa confused.
"YOU WILL?!" Fievel asked happily.
"Absolutely! Besides, it wouldn't be fair to leave an 7 year old boy alone in an orphanage with kids who pick on you," Anna said.
Fievel then felt tears of happiness in his eyes appearing, before he once again hugged Anna, who was jumped by his powerful grip, "Yes, yes, yes! Thank you, Princess Anna! Thank you!"
Anna then smiled warmly at his excitement with a small giggle, before hugging him back, "You're welcome, sweetheart."
Once everything was situated, Elsa and Anna walked out of the bedroom with Fievel, and headed downstairs to Mrs. Brosheim's office to talk about her decision.
At the office, Anna was reading and signing every paper while Mrs. Brosheim went over his records and other history about himself, and Fievel standing nearby in excitement.
"And that's about everything you need to know about Fievel. So… juat to be clear, are you sure this is your final decision, your highness? Because you seem a little young to be raising a child. No offense," Mrs. Brosheim asked. Anna nodded with a stern look, but kept her anger cool.
"Yes, Mrs. Brosheim. I am aware of my age, but if I can climb a mountain without proper gear, survive a frozen heart, and survive against my ex-boyfriend, which I won't mention, I'm pretty sure I can raise a sweet little boy like Fievel there. He just needs someone to take care of him, and maybe have a chance to be allowed to open up and have a family again, as long as Elsa and I have each other," she answered, as she continued signing the papers.
"I'm very pleased to hear that you want to take him in. But just a reminder: he's very sensitive, meaning he's usually shy among some other people," Mrs. Brosheim warned.
"Oh, don't worry, Mrs. Brosheim. I can assure you; I know exactly what I'm doing. I promise Elsa and I will keep him safe," Anna said, as she puts down the ink, having just finished signing up the papers.
Fievel then went over to Mrs. Brosheim and gave her a quick hug.
"Goodbye, Mrs. Brosheim. Thank you for everything," he said.
"I'll miss you too, bubbie. Remember to do what Princess Anna and Queen Elsa tell you to do, and take good care of yourself, okay?" Mrs. Brosheim said.
"I will," Fievel said, until he let go and went over to Anna, and she then took Fievel's hand, before she and Elsa started walking out of the room, leaving a tearfully happy Miss Bonita behind….
Once they got outside, Fievel looked at the orphanage one more time, before noticing all the kids waving goodbye. He then waved at them, and so did Anna and Elsa, until they walked out of the orphanage's front gate, for the last time, for Fievel.
From this moment on, a new life has begun for Fievel, and it was going to be one heck of a journey to build the little boy's spirit back up in no time.
