To be completely honest, I wasn't going to post this story at all. I did in the past only to remove it for different reasons. I decided to put it back up because it is a continuation of a story that has been on this site for a very long time. Thank you.
Summary: After Kino Makoto tragically died, Yuy Heero picked up the pieces of his broken heart. Their daughter, Hikaru looks exactly like her mother, with the piercing blue eyes of her father. When ghosts of the past come colliding with the present, who will be strong enough to stop them? And what startling revelations will Hikaru learn?
Prologue
Yuy Heero stared up at the Winner Mansion with a soft sigh. Raven glanced at the mansion, before looking at him. She then glanced down at the sleeping baby girl in her arms. She bit her lip, before looking at him again. "Are you sure about this, Heero? I don't mind playing nanny, but pretend to be her mother?"
Heero took a deep breath before he closed his eyes. "Raven, I trust you. And the men will go along with it. Besides, how would she feel being raised surrounded by men and not having a mother figure around? We will tell her the truth when she is older, but until that time, please I'm begging you to be her mother."
Raven glanced down at the baby with tears. She knew that Hikaru was Makoto's baby, who tragically passed away months earlier, the same day she was born. Her golden hues glanced back at the mansion before she nodded. "Alright, Heero, I'll be her mother." Heero opened his eyes.
"Thank you," was all he whispered before he headed for the door. Raven followed him slowly, wondering if the Sailor Senshi would ever find them and hoped that they wouldn't.
Nearly 15 Years Later
"Miss Hikaru, it's time for breakfast," the maid knocked on her door. The young teen gave a soft yawn, as she opened her eyes. She brushed her long dark brown hair from her face. Hikaru threw her legs over the edge of her bed before she slipped on her slippers and a dark blue-colored robe. She walked over to her vanity and brushed her hair. She left it down before she appeared at her door."Good morning, Miss Hikaru."
"Good morning," she greeted with a small smile. "Are my parents already downstairs?"
"Your mother is, but I believe your father is still in his office," she responded politely.
"Thank you," Hikaru replied, as she turned and headed for her father's office. With being one of the most powerful men in all of Tokyo, people were scared to insult or be rude to anyone in the house. It made it difficult for Hikaru to keep and maintain friends, especially when they find out her last name was Yuy. She usually didn't bother him, but with her 15th birthday a week away she was going to ask her father if he discussed it with her mother if she could have a party. The 'friends' she did have were all rich, vain, and at times rude, but having some was better than having none. She was nothing like her friends. Hikaru was generous, soft-spoken, and kind, and she had a giving heart. Her icy blue eyes usually made people avoid her, but once they spoke to her, they could tell how nice she was.
Hikaru straightened out her robe, before running a hand through her hair. She knocked on the door softly and heard her father grunt softly. "Who is it?" His deep voice sounded loud in her eyes. She opened the door slightly.
"Father, it's Hikaru. May I come in?" Heero raised his eyes to the door hearing his daughter's voice.
"Yes, sweetheart come in," his voice changed to a nicer tone and he watched her walk in. Every day she was growing and she looked so much like Makoto, it hurt him. It was a daily reminder that Makoto was gone. Heero tried to get the thoughts out of his head. At 38 years old, Heero was still a rather handsome-looking man. No one believed his age and thought he was in his 20s. "What can I do for you, Hikaru?"
The young girl sat in front of her father, across the desk. "Daddy, you told me you'd talk to Mother about me having a party. Have you both made your decision yet?" She looked hopeful and Heero gave a soft sigh.
He wanted to make her happy, and he tried as often as he could. He couldn't risk her exposure and the others finding her. After a few minutes of debating, he crossed his arms. Hikaru bit her lower lip, not knowing if it was a good thing or a bad thing. "We could do it, that was the decision. However, there are going to be rules. A maximum of 5 people and that is not open for discussion. There will be a curfew at 11 p.m. However, if you want a sleepover, I need to meet their parents. Does that sound fair to you?" She nodded softly. "Good. Now let us go have breakfast. You start your first day of high school at Jubaan Academy." She looked nervous, but he saw the excitement in her eyes. He got up from his seat before he pushed it in. Heero followed his daughter out of the study. As he walked beside her, he realized she was just like Makoto in almost every way and carried confidence in her steps.
As they began to descend the stairs, Quatre was standing at the bottom with a phone in his hand. He lifted his blond head of hair, offering a smile. "Good morning Heero, Good Morning Hikaru. How are you two doing?"
Hikaru hurried down the stairs, hugging the blond, who returned it. She kissed his cheek and pulled back. "I'm good, how are you?"
Heero met them at the bottom with a nod, "I am well, how are you?"
"I'm doing pretty good," he whispered. "Many people keep texting me that Queen Serenity is showing up today." Heero's eyes flashed a bit that went unseen by his daughter, but Quatre saw it. "She is royalty, which I understand. But they need to calm down. It's not the first time she has been there."
"I am not sure what the big deal is," Hikaru commented. "She's royalty, so what? People need to understand that all that nonsense doesn't describe a person. I mean. look at us. We are not royalty, yet people respect us." Heero didn't comment, knowing that they were technically royalty, but he never told her.
"It's okay, Hikaru," Quatre replied, trying to get her off the subject. "I'll handle it, I'll be back around dinner time, bye." With a wave, he was out the door. Hikaru walked into the dining room, with Heero behind her. Her mother came into view, who was sitting at the table, in conversation with Duo and Wufei. Trowa was making himself a cup of coffee. Hikaru ran over and kissed Trowa on the cheek, as she received one on the head by the quiet man.
Raven turned to them, "Good morning." Heero walked over and gave her a morning kiss on the cheek.
"Good morning, love," he whispered. A small blush graced her cheeks and kissed his cheek.
"Good morning, Mommy," Hikaru hurried over before she got a hug and a kiss on her cheek.
"Excited, munchkin?" Dup teased, as Hikaru kissed him on the cheek and blushed.
"Uncle Duo, it's not my first time going to school and I'm not small anymore," Hikaru kissed Wufei on the cheek and got one back from the Chinese man. Out of the men, Wufei and Duo were the ones most excited about having a baby girl in the house. They instantly got attached and it surprised them that Wufei got attached to the little Yuy.
"Well that may be, but you are starting high school, it's a little bit different," He said, as she sat down next to Wufei and her father.
"Duo stop," Heero ordered, glaring at the brunet. Duo grinned sheepishly. Heero turned to Hikaru. "Would you like both your mother and me to take you? We can show you a shortcut since it's only 5 minutes up the road." Hikaru could only nod because she was munching on toast. "Our butler doesn't need to waste gas since the Academy is so close." Heero sipped on his coffee, looking at Raven. She knew the real reason why he wanted to take her. She might run into the Queen and King, because their daughter, Chibiusa, also attended the school. She was a grade above Hikaru, but she also helped with the new students.
They finished breakfast, and Hikaru hurried upstairs to get dressed. Her maid had made her bed and had her uniform laying down on her bed. It was a beautiful blue and black color, with short sleeves and similar to the European-style naval uniforms. She slipped on her black shoes before she walked over to her vanity. Her maid was standing there next to the chair. "The usual, Miss Hikaru?" With a nod, the maid went to work on Hikaru's hair and her natural-looking makeup. Her hair was placed up in a bun, with strands curled and hanging at the sides of her face. "All done, Miss."
"Thank you, Akari," she smiled and hugged her maid. Even though she was her maid, they were also friends. She grabbed her bag and gave Akari a wave before she left. Her parents were both waiting for her at the bottom of the stairs. "I'm ready." Heero looked at her and he was breathless. She was so beautiful and looked just like Makoto. Even Raven noticed looking at her daughter.
"Oh sweetheart, you look beautiful," Raven gushed, trying to get Heero to react. Heero cleared his throat, only offering a nod. He didn't trust his voice at that moment. "Alright, let's go." The family left the mansion and began to walk together. Hikaru held the hand of each of her parents, her excitement growing. The Academy came into view, as Heero took in a deep breath.
Standing near the entrance was Chibiusa with both of her parents. Raven and Heero stopped, causing Hikaru to look at them both. "Is something wrong?" Heero said nothing, as his eyes met Endymion's, who looked stunned. "Daddy?"
Heero looked at his daughter for a moment and then back at them. Now he noticed Serenity staring at them, her face was pale. He knew they recognized him immediately. Chibiusa looked at them and her parents. "Something wrong?"
"Please find out the name of that girl and tell us," Serenity whispered. "I need to know her name."
Chibiusa looked perplexed," Well she is a first-year, mom. So when I found out I can tell you." She walked to them and curtsied. "Welcome to Jubaan Academy. My name is Chiba Chibiusa, Princess of Crystal Tokyo and school representative. What's your name?"
Hikaru curtsied in return, "My name is Yuy Hikaru, Your Majesty." Chibiusa politely shook her.
"You may call me Chibiusa, Hikaru-san." She smiled at her, and Hikaru gave her one as well. "Come on." She held her hand out to Hikaru. The girl looked at her parents, who nodded. She then smiled as she took Chibiusa's hand. Serenity and Endymion watched Chibiusa lead her toward the school. With the girls heading towards the school, Serenity and Endymion turned to look at Heero and Raven, only to notice they were gone.
"They vanished," Serenity commented. She looked back at the girls, disappearing into the sea of students. "I am positive that was Shinozaki..meaning." her voice trailed off. They both realized that it was Makoto's daughter. "But the doctor said she died as well."
"Maybe Shinozaki told him to tell us that," Endymion whispered. "We haven't seen him since we found out Makoto died. He vanished for 15 years. We need to find him and get the answers we deserve."
