Chapter 22- Love Transcend & Overcome All

Amy is seen in the midst of a sparring match with Shadow, delivering multiple hand strikes at once. Amy tries to block Shadow's rapid fast strikes, but is unable to do so and is hit in the face with great force.

Noticing something is bothering her, Shadow calls off their sparring match. "I know you have more to offer, what's wrong, Amy?"

Amy notes the irony of their situation. "How ironic of you to help me with my mental struggles, when I did that same to you during the Space Colony ARK incident…it's just everything with Sonic gone, us just able to stand a chance against Chronos and whatnot.""

Shadow quickly gets the gist of her blight. "...You know I kinda envy your strong sense of empathy and your surprising capability for caring…even for people like me back then."

Amy's eye widened upon hearing Shadow say that, as the black hedgehog continues on to say. "I have noticed how you encourage those who have lost hope in the world we are in, with the idea that the love we are would help us to push forward from all of the suffering. As well as your willingness to reach out to all kinds of people."

Amy then remembers during the Chaos incident how she was more than willing to protect Birdie, and helped it reunite with its siblings out of the goodness of her heart. She similarly defended E-102 Gamma from Sonic when the latter tried to destroy him after motivating Gamma to rebel against Eggman. Likewise, during the Neo Metal Sonic incident, she raised Cream and Big's spirits whenever they lost hope about finding their friends.

Shadow concludes his speech towards Amy. "When it comes down to it, you're a likeable person Amy and I had rarely seen you meet anyone you refuse to befriend…Maria once said that love transcends even common understanding, and can bring out within someone unprecedented power. I believe that you can do it." Shadow ends his speech with a faint smile on his face.

Koshinuke returns to the main battlefield, with no signs of Amy anywhere. "All of you Resistance pests! Your precious captain has been defeated by my hands. Surrender now or suffer the consequences!"

This greatly affects their morale, as Koshinuke's forces steadily gain the upper hand. The G.U.N soldiers are nearly defeated, until a pillar of a pink-coloured flaming aura appears which catches everyone's attention. Amy emerges from the pillar, with her hair slightly spiked up and her muscle mass also somewhat increased as well. She emanates a bright blue electrical discharge aura, with mini pink hearts surrounding her.

Koshinuke grits his teeth, blinded with immense rage. "WHY WOULDN'T YOU ALL JUST DIE ALREADY!"

Koshinuke scowls at Amy with overgrowing intensity, flashing back to Super Silver to Amy in her newly awakened state.

He blindly shoots out massive lances made of metallic debris, Amy uses her upgraded Piko Piko Hammer and smashes it towards the lances causing a shockwave of wind pressure that destroys all of them simultaneously. Amy then does the same thing with greater force behind her hammer strike, which forces Koshinuke to create a cocoon-like barrier surrounding him to prevent himself from being blown away. Koshinuke creates a board of mixed debris to give him exceptional manoeuvrability and dashes around frantically, crashing through several platforms with increasing speed, yet still unable to hit Amy.

Amy runs up to each upper platform with a significant increase in her acrobatic skills and agility, as Koshinuke chases her in hot pursuit and tries to intercept her. They reach above the pyramid, Amy manoeuvres away from Koshinuke's bombardment of lances with grace, and even slides on them like Grind Rails.

Koshinuke soars above Amy in a dragon kaiju-esque form, made of all of the broken up debris he has collected. Amy little by little falls with her arms open, enjoying the cold breeze flowing through her skin. Koshinuke appears on the forehead of his kaiju avatar, exhaling a ball of compressed wind from its mouth that fires like a cannonball.

Amy counters back with a swing of her hammer that blows back the attack with ever greater force that shatters most of Koshinuke's avatar shell, much to Koshinuke's surprise. "...How…This…can't…be…"

Amy creates heart-shaped platforms to appear behind Koshinuke, deep in her thoughts. "Those who express nothing but love for not only themselves, but to others, the world, everything are the ones who are free."

Amy replicated the kick that Koshinuke used to knock her down originally, and gathered enough momentum for an almighty hammer strike that sent Koshinuke down to ground level, creating a huge crater in the centre of the battlefield.

With his kaiju avatar altogether shattered, Koshinuke gets back up, more angry than before. "NO!...I WON'T LET IT END HERE! I WILL BE THE ONE TO STAND BESIDE THE STRONGEST!"

Koshinuke unleashes his life-threatening ultimate move: Mass Destruction Palace to win, resulting in a physical backlash with his eyes and nose bleeding. Everyone gets trapped into a shadowy barrier, where the G.U.N soldiers and even his own forces experience small bleeding injuries rip and tear open all over their body.

Amy takes her time walking directly to Koshinuke, as her mini hearts around her act to stitch up her wounds. Koshinuke steadily steps back, afraid by Amy's unshakeable presence. Amy darted at Koshinuke at amazing speeds, regenerating her injuries and spins herself into a frontal somersault to gather propulsion before smashing Koshinuke with an incredibly, powerful strike. With Koshinuke defeated, his ultimate move ended as well. The remaining members of Koshinuke's forces are easily taken down, as Amy and her squad destroyed Arsenal Pyramid and cut off Chronos's source of ordnance for their war effort.

Amy's newfound power enables her to defeat Koshinuke, taking down one of Chronos's Generals. The next chapter might be intense.
