Chapter 2 Misadventures and Unexpected meetings
Once we had finished eating we were permitted to go around downtown with our roommates as long as we made it back to the hotel in time for dinner. "Where do you all want to go first?" Joci asked as we walked down the sidewalk. " how about we stop at Starbucks then go walk around Central Park and see if we can't think of something then go check out Stark tower, I hear it is as big as the Empire State Building.''Jenna said with a smile pointing to the Starbucks down the block. That's just what we did. We got coffee and walked around the park making a list of places we wanted to try and get to before the end of the trip. It had started to get late and close to the time we had to return to the hotel for dinner, so we made our way to the Tower hoping to have enough time to at least get a few pictures. As it turned out it was only a five minute walk to get there. Once we got there none of us could believe our eyes.
"OH WOW, They weren't kidding when they said this place was huge it has to be at least a 100 floors,'' Jordan said the rest of us were in too much shock to do anything other than agree looking up at the building that seemed to glow.
"Can you imagine the view from the penthouse, you would be able to see the whole city from the top, Mr stark is a lucky man," Jenna said the astonishment in her voice evident
"Yeah you could say he is one of the lucky ones." a voice said behind us. We all turn around only to see Steve Rogers and Tony smiling at us. "You're all a part of the Choir that's here to perform isn't that right. Would you girls like a tour I'm sure you have plenty of time seeing as your choir is coming here for dinner tonight" Tony said knowingly with a smirk "I'll even have pepper get you all a change of clothes, you're going to be meeting some important people tonight with the rest of your group."
Tony and Steve showed us to the elevator and we all loaded in, even with there being so many of us it wasn't cramped at all there was plenty of room, Tony hit a combination into the keypad and a panel slides out with a button that said penthouse he hit it and the elevator started moving, within minutes they were at the penthouse and all of the girls couldn't believe their eyes.
"You live here!" Jenna said, shocked the rest of us nodding our heads in amazement.
Tony just smiled and started walking to the middle of the room.'Well it's not just Tony that lives here all the avengers have a room here its kinda a go-to place to stay when we are all in the area or are having a social gathering" Steve said ushering us into the large open plan living room that had a bar in one corner and walk out balcony with a helicopter pad as well as a set of floating stairs probably leading to the bedrooms.
"Hey Friday let Pepper know I need her." Tony called to the air as he headed towards what looked to be a bar."Would you girls like anything to drink? We have pop juice water smoothies?" Steve said with a smile before walking to the fridge and pulling out a bottle of water while Tony poured himself a glass of what looked like scotch. All of the girls smiled and declined the offer, some holding up half empty starbucks cups. "Tony you needed me for oh hello who are you?" said pepper as she came out of the elevator walking towards the bar.
