Cobra led Kianna into his house and let go of her wrist, flopping down on the couch. "You know Erik, we're dating, I would have come with you," she mutters, sitting down beside him.
Cobra didn't say anything as he pulled her into his lap, closing his eyes, "stay with me…don't leave."
"Why would I leave you?" She asks, turning her head to look him in the eyes.
"Just promise me that in the future, no matter what happens, you won't leave."
"Ok, fine. I promise I won't leave," she says, leaning into his chest. "Don't worry, I mean that promise. I would never leave you, no matter what. I love you Erik…" As soon as Kianna said those words, something inside Cobra changed. He wasn't sure what, nor was he sure why but he knew that something was different. It's not that he fell in love with her, he had already fallen in love with her long ago.
"I love you too," he whispers, giving her a soft peck on the cheek. Cobra felt even more protective over Kianna than he had earlier, like it was his duty to protect her with his life, no matter the cost.
"Erik, why was it so important that I leave early before my shift was over? It was only an hour."
"I honestly don't know," Cobra mutters, "I just felt like it, I guess? Something inside of me told me that I had to be with you right then and there and had to make sure no one else got to you."
Kianna didn't know what to say to that, she just nuzzled up into him and smiled softly. A knock on the door startled Kianna, "are you expecting someone?"
"Nope," he says, moving Kianna off his lap and standing up, walking over to the door, opening it, "yes?"
Lisanna smiled, "Is Kianna here? I wanted to check on her."
"She's fine," Cobra says, shutting the door. Lisanna, who wanted to actually talk to Kianna herself, huffed and knocked again. "What?"
"I want to talk to her myself."
"Fine," he mutters, walking over to Kianna, "Lisanna is here to see you."
Kianna smiles and stands up, heading over to the door, "hey girl, what's up?
"Hey, I wanted to check on you, see if you were ok. You left pretty quickly."
"Hm? Oh yeah, I'm fine! You don't need to worry about me! Erik wouldn't hurt me!"
"Alright, well…do you wanna go do something later? Or are you gonna be here all night?"
"Yeah! We can definitely hang out la-''
Kianna got cut off by Erik shutting the door in Lissanna's face. "You're staying here tonight."
"You don't control me! I want to go hang out with my friend!"
"Not right now! Right now, I need you here with me!"
"Why? Give me a good reason!"
"I don't really have a reason, just trust me when I tell you that I need you1 I can't explain it!"
"Erik, I'll go out with her for a couple of hours then I'll come back, ok?"
"What if you get taken or meet another guy?" Cobra asks, worriedly.
"Is that what you're worried about? Erik, you're the only one for me, ok? Don't worry, I won't leave you…no matter what."
Cobra sighs, "fine, go with her. Just be back in two hours," he mutters, looking at the ground.
"Erik, I know you aren't happy with this, but you did pull me away from my shift early and I promised Lisanna I'd help her with something. I'll be back soon," Kianna says, walking outside, shutting the door behind her. "Sorry about that, he's acting really weird right now, not really sure why though."
"It's fine, are you sure you're able to help me? We can reschedule if we need to."
"No, it's fine. I can help you. I'd made these plans with you first. Plus, Erik couldn't tell me why he needed me to stay so obviously it was a lie." Lisanna nodded, she didn't really want to pull Kianna away from her boyfriend, all she wanted was to check on her friend to make sure she was ok. "So, what did you need help with?"
"Oh, I wanted to get Mira a gift for her birthday, but I'm not really sure what to get her."
"Has she mentioned anything she might want?"
"She's been wanting a new pair of shoes."
"To the shoe store!" Kianna exclaims, excitedly.
The two girls arrive at the shoe store, walking inside. "This is going to be so much fun! I love picking out shoes for other people!" The two girls immediately go to the heels section since that's what Mira likes to wear the most. "She normally wears red ones."
"Ooo, how about these?" Kianna asks, turning to Lisanna. She was holding up a pair of red pencil heels with a strap on the front.
"Those are perfect!" Lisanna exclaims, taking them from her, "thanks so much for your help!"
"It's no problem," Kianna smiles. "I'm gonna head back to Erik's. Mira's going to love those for her birthday!"
Lisanna nods and waves bye to her friend as she goes to pay for the shoes. Kianna makes her way back to Erik's house, looking behind her every now and then, paranoid that someone is watching her.
Cobra had followed the girls. He wasn't trying to be a stalker or anything, he just wanted to make sure Kianna was ok, he was worried about her. Although, he wasn't sure why since he knew she could easily take care of herself. He knew he didn't want her around any other guys but he also knew she wouldn't do anything like that to him, it's not like her. He watched as they went into the shoe store, he didn't want to go in that store though so he opted to stay outside and watch. He waited for fifteen minutes before Kianna came out, heading in the direction of his place. So that he wouldn't get caught, he took a shortcut to get to his place before her, glad that all she did was go to a shoe store, he could live with that, although he does wish she would have stayed with him like he'd had asked.
I got back to Erik's and walked in to see him lying on the couch. "Hey babe, I'm back."
"Hey," he mutters, turning towards her.
"What's wrong?" Kianna asks, frowning.
"I told you earlier that I needed you here with me! I didn't really have a reason but I did need you!" He growls, standing up.
"Woah, calm down! Look, I'm sorry, ok? I didn't realize it was that big of a deal, I won't leave again, I promise."
"Whatever, I'm tired. Can we just go to bed?"
"Of course, let's go," Kianna smiles, pulling him towards his bedroom, humming softly. Humming always calms him down when Kianna does it. The two of them lay down together and Cobra wraps his arms around her.
"You're mine," he whispers, growling slightly as they both fall asleep.
