Lisaana, Elfman, Happy, and Cana arrived at Natsu's house. "Do you really think he'll be here?" Lisaana asks, Happy.
"He's either here or at Lucy's house so I figured we could start here," Happy says, opening the door.
"Natsu?" Happy asks, flying inside. The other three followed him inside, "Natsu?" Happy tries again.
"I don't think he's here," Lisaana says.
"Let's try Lucy's, I wanna get this over with so I can get back to drinking." Cana complains.
"That's not very manly," Elfman says to Cana.
Cana rolls her eyes and Happy flies over, "let's go to Lucy's, we need to hurry. We don't have time to waste."
"Happys' right," Lisaana says, "let's go." Everyone agrees and the group make their way over to Lucy's house in Fairy Hills. "They aren't going to let Elfman in because he's a guy so why don't you wait out here in case Natsu tries to run?" Lisanna suggests.
"How come Natsu got in then?" Elfman asks, crossing his arms.
"Natsu tends to sneak in," Cana points out.
"That's so unmanly of him."
Lisanna chuckles and shakes her head, "just be ready if Natsu runs." Lisanna, Cana, and Happy head inside Fairy Hills and knock on Lucy's door.
"Coming," Lucy says, opening the door. "Oh hey guys, what's up?"
"Hey Lucy," Lisanna smiles, "Is Natsu here?"
"Yeah, he's actually asleep on the bed. He's been acting really weird ever since yesterday."
"That actually makes this a whole lot easier," Happy says. "Lucy, Natsu is under something called The Season. I don't have time to explain everything but just know because you're his mate, both of you are in danger. We need to do this while he's asleep because he'll be extremely protective of you and he will fight back, not caring who he hurts."
Lucy blinks, "um well, he doesn't normally act this way but he hasn't made any move to harm me."
"He isn't going to harm you because you're his mate. He's going to harm everyone else. Plus, if he marks you and one day the two of you break up, it would break both of your hearts literally. If either of you die, the other will die too." Happy explains.
"Ok, I understand, it's not safe to be around him right now, I have an idea." Lucy grabs her keys and reaches a silver one into the air, "Open Gate of the Clock! Horologium!"
"How can I be of service, Lucy?" Horologium asks.
"We need to get Natsu inside of you and keep him asleep while he transport him back to…" Lucy pauses and turns to the others, "where are we taking him?"
"The guild, we have a safety measure for the dragon slayers to keep them contained."
Lucy turns back to Horologium, "can you handle that?"
Horologium nods and opens his door. Lucy and Cana walked over to Natsu and picked him up, one girl on each end, making their way to the clock. "He must be a heavy sleeper," Cana mutters as they put him inside, closing the door to the clock. "Let's just get back to the guild."
The group makes their way back to the Fairy Tail guild, keeping their eyes on Natsu who had woken up by now and was very angry that he was being kept from his Lucy. "You better let me out! Lucy, tell them! The pink haired man says." Horologium says.
"It's salmon!" Horologium says for Natsu.
Walking inside the guild, Lisanna looks around, "gramps?"
Makarov walks over, "follow me downstairs, we have something set up so that the dragon slayers will be comfortable until the season is over." Everyone followed Makarov downstairs to the dungeon.
"How are we going to get Natsu in there without letting the others out?" Lisanna asks.
"There's an enchantment surrounding the cell, dragon slayers can go in but can't go out until I have Freed lift it."
Lucy nods and turns to Horologium, "can you take him in there? You can return to the celestial world once he's in there." Horologium nods and walks inside of the cell, opening the door, letting Natsu out. As soon as he was out, Horologium went back to the celestial spirit world.
"Lucy! You can't do this to me! Let me out!" Natsu exclaims.
"Natsu," Lucy says, walking to the bars. "It's not going to be forever, just until you're through with The Season. It's safer this way, for both of us."
"Fire dragon wing attack!" Natsu says, aiming it at the bars. As soon as the fire hit the bars, it dissipated into thin air.
"I also had Freed make it to where they can't use their magic to get out." Makarov explains.
Natsu huffs, crossing his arms, "this isn't fair! All I want is to be with Lucy!" He looks over at Laxus and Cobra. Cobra was still propped up against the wall thinking about Kianna and Laxus was laying on the bed, staring at the ceiling. Both dragon slayers seemed really depressed.
"Let's give Natsu some time to cool down, you can come back down later, Lucy." Makarov says. Lucy nodded and followed everyone upstairs, stopping at the last step to give one more glance to Natsu who was fuming with rage.
Laki, Jet, Droy, and PantherLily made their way towards Gajeel's house. "I don't even know why Droy and I are on this team, Gajeel hates us!" Jet mumbles.
"I don't know, I think Erza was a little stressed due to having to make the teams up on the spot.
"It'll be fine, Gajeel will be too focused on Levy to hurt y'all." Lily says, flying a little faster, "let's speed up." The group starts walking faster, arriving at Gajeel's house only five minutes later. Lily opens the door and flies in, letting the others follow him in. "Gajeel? Levy?" Lily calls out.
"Go away Lily," Gajeel calls out. "Wait, there's others with you." Gajeel stands up and makes his way out of the bedroom, yawning. "Why are these people with you?"
"Gajeel, can you come with me to the guild? Something big is going down." Lily lies.
Gajeel crosses his arms, "What's happening then?"
"There's a big fight going down at the guild, just come and help us please." Jet replies.
Gajeel growls, "what the hell are you doing here?" He looks to Jet and Droy, "get out of my house!"
"Gajeel, just ignore them and come with us to the guild!" Lily says.
"If there was a big fight at the guild, it would only be one of y'all, not a whole group. You're trying to trick me, aren't you?"
"Well, we wanted to do this calmly," Lily sighs, "please, we can't let you mate with Levy, it's too dangerous!"
"So that's what this is about? You aren't touching Levy! Get out!"
Lily sighs and uses his magic to grow in size. Jet, Droy, and Laki also got into a fighting stance. Gajeel took this as an invitation to fight, "iron dragon roar!"
Laki stepped in front of everyone, "wood-make, wood wall!" She exclaims, a wall made of wood appearing in front of them stopping the roar from hitting them.
"Falcon Heavenward!" Jet says, rushing around the wall and aiming a kick towards Gajeel that sends him flying into his couch.
"Ugh," Gajeel grunts, standing back up, that didn't feel good. "Iron dragon's kunai!" He holds the kunai in his hands, aiming one at Jet.
Before he could throw it, the voice of a blue-haired angel caused him to freeze. "What's going on?"
Gajeel could tell they had woken her up and that pissed him off. "Nothing, don't worry about it. Just go back to bed."
Levy yawned and looked around, "it seems like something's going on."
"Levy, you need to get to the guild." Lily says, not taking his eyes off Gajeel. "I don't have time to explain, but I'll explain later."
"It looks like y'all are fighting, who upset who?"
Gajeel got tired of all the talking and threw the kunai at Jet. Levy immediately jumped into action, "solid script, stone!" She very quickly throws the stone in front of Jet, hoping to stop the kunai in time but unfortunately she was too late and the kunai scraped the side of his arm, drawing blood. "What the hell?" She asks, looking at Gajeel.
Gajeel turned to her with a scowl on his face. His eyes, instead of being their normal crimson shade were now a dark black, she felt like his stare would pierce into her soul, "go upstairs now!" He demands, his voice going extremely deep, kinda like a growl.
"'G-gajeel?" She asks, terrified. "What's wrong?"
"It's starting," Lily mumbles to himself. How is he going to get Levy and the others out safely? "Gajeel just entered phase two of The Season which means the other dragon slayers probably have as well, we need to hurry."
"Phase two? Since when are their phases?" Droy asks.
"The phases happen to make them more dragon-like during The Season," Lily explains.
"Wait, I've read about this before. This isn't good, I can't believe I ignored all the signs. I hope the others will be ok." Levy sighs, looking at Gajeel.
"How many phases are there?" Laki asks.
"So far, we only have four phases documented," Lily explains, "however, there could be more, phase four is just so dangerous, no dragon slayer has ever gone above it. The last time Gajeel got to phase four, he almost died. We need to get him to the guild!"
"Holy shit," Levy mutters, glancing at Gajeel. She walked over to him and put her hand on his cheek, "Gajeel, it's Levy. Will you please come with me to the guild?" Gajeel grunted and roared in her face before picking her up.
Levy squeaked as he started to make his way back up to his bedroom but Droy stopped him, "chain plant!" Gajeel was stopped in his tracks by the plant. He kept trying to break free but Droy had gotten stronger which meant his magic had gotten stronger as well.
Lily shrunk back down to his original size and sprouted his wings, flying on top of Gajeel, he grabs his shirt and lifts him up, allowing Levy to drop to the ground. "Meet me at the guild," Lily says, flying out of the house.
Levy looks at the others, "we should probably get going." The others nod and the four of them head out towards the guild.
