The day began for Izuku like any other one. Waking up and immediate actions after that were the same. The difference started when he was about to leave for school.
"Hey buddy, I've got a great idea!" Bombinomicon flew up to him when he dressed up and was ready to go. "Let's teleport to your prison!"
"But I don't know how to do that, and school is not prison." Said Izuku. "Also I doubt that you can teach me to do that fast enough for me not to be late."
"Don't worry buddy, your ma will call them and say that you fell like shit and won't come, and then you can spend the rest of your day training! Imagine what you can do with it! You won't have to waste your time on the commute, you can just pop back home and chill here between classes, if some hero fight occurs in a familiar location, you can instantly get the front seats! You don't even have to worry about becoming a collateral damage because of you know what!"
Now that Bombinomicon was playing a devil on his shoulder, Izuku had a hunch that it would continue to pester him until he accepted. He wouldn't even be surprised if it followed him into the class and try to disrupt it just for fun.
"If someone starts messing with you, just grab them and send them to the junk beach or somewhere else where they won't bother you any longer!" Continued the book. Now that got more attention from Midoriya.
"I will be able to teleport others?" He asked, just to be sure if he heard right.
"Yeah, of course, should have started with that! It will be a useful skill to use as a hero, instantly getting people out of danger, what do you think about that? But before you can do that, you will have to master personal teleportation, and the sooner you do that the better! Now, are you cool with starting right now?" Finished Bombinomicon.
Not seeing a point in resisting the book's temptations any longer, Midoriya decided to give it his all to learn something new and useful. His first proper magic.
"Midoriya. Midoriya Izuku! Not present." The teacher lazily marked absence of his student. 'Maybe he'll just be late.'
"Damn nerd, where is he?" Muttered the one and only Bakugou Katsuki. While their friendship ended years ago, he still kept his full attention on Midoriya as an obstacle. With years an equal turned into an inferior and later to just a pebble. And that pebble still refused to learn its place after all these years. 'I can't crush you if just chicken out, so come on!'
Bakugou didn't just want to be number one, he wanted everyone else to be beneath him. And most important of all, Deku needed to be the one at the bottom. But 'the damned nerd' refused to learn, he was still preaching that he will become a hero one day, and that was insulting for Katsuki. And he didn't like it at all, but he still needed to outperform the nerd fair and square, beat him time after time in everything, so he could learn his place one day and stop with his nonsense. Bakugou Katsuki deserved to be one, the best one, and the thought of quirkless dumbass even thinking that they could both be heroes, both be remotely equal infuriated him to no end. He will show him and everyone that Bakugou Katsuki is the one, and he couldn't do it with the nerd absent.
Just as the teacher was about to finish the roll call, a green light flashed outside the window and the screaming started.
"I told you to think of a safe place to land, not outside the third floor!" One voice shouted.
"But I thought about the classroom really hard, it must have finally worked when my thoughts slipped and thought of outside as a safer place!" Replied the other equally as loud.
Students who sat near the window looked outside and saw Midoriya hanging on the windowsill for dear life and near him a big ugly thing was flying around.
"Oh, so you're bullied and you associated outside the class a safer place! Buddy, you could have just told me and I blew this place to kingdom come!" Bombinomicon said to the still hanging boy.
"First, that would be bad, and the whole point of you being 'here' is to not do such things. Second, can you please help me? You can fly, I can't." Replied desperate Midoriya who had surprisingly little trouble in holding his grip.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, let's do boring things, and have a boring life! Booooooo! Boring, you're boring buddy, I try my best to make it less boring, but you're not helping me at all here, leaving me hanging, buddy!" Started complaining the book, still floating about as always.
"I'm the one hanging here! Literally!" Angrily replied Midoriya.
"Oh, somebody is getting riled up here! Chill, buddy, at worst you break a leg or two, at worst you come back stronger! Not like something really bad will happen!" Now instead of facing Izuku, it faced the teacher who was the closest one standing near their window. "Hey buddy, can you open a window? My friend here is being obnoxious about it, so getting inside will calm him down a bit!"
With Bombinomicon being a really scary looking thing and the whole situation being pretty ridiculous, the teacher couldn't force himself to move due to both confusion and fear paralyzing his body. And just like the teacher, no student decided to help their classmate to get out of trouble.
"If no one wants to help him, then I have no choice! Fire in the hole!" And the window exploded, showering every unfortunate soul with glass shards. "Here, a nice big hole just for you buddy!"
"Why didn't you make it explode like yesterday, without shrapnel? You could make shards disappear! What if somebody is hurt!" Screamed the boy after crawling into the room.
"And what if somebody got hurt? They all left you for dead there hanging outside the window. Besides, if you just followed my instructions, we could have avoided this situation entirely!" Nonchalantly answered the book.
"Yeah, great instructions. 'Imagine yourself in a safe spot and just try to appear there.' Great instructions." Angrily replied Midoriya and tried to have a look at the teacher, who like many before found himself flat on his ass after witnessing Bombinomicon in all its glory.
"Not my problem you considered outside the window 'a safe place to appear'! And what did you expect me to tell you? Some stupid incantation? Or some dumb mnemonic formula? Maybe even draw something on the floor? Well that's not how I do things buddy! When that old fart tries to teach you some curse to turn somebody into a frog, you'll get a load of this stuff! By the way is the lesson about to start? I don't know how school works, what are you supposed to do now?"
When Izuku finished checking the teacher, he looked at his classmates, who all almost finished dusting themselves off and removing glass shards. Luckily no blood has been spotted and no one was screaming in pain, so everything could be fine. Relatively speaking at least.
"Well, everyone, please exit the classroom and follow me! As... this thing said we still have a class and here is... a little bit dirty to start the lesson... so... every outside, please!" And as everyone started to slowly go out of the room, the teacher turned to Midoriya. "Now, can you please explain what happened?"
As the door out of the classroom opened, the noise outside started to fill the room. A big explosion happening somewhere on the floor was bound to draw a lot of attention.
Someone was shouting that everyone should return to their classes, others were asking let them through, some people were saying that they already called the police.
No one apart from Midoriya and Bombinomicon knew what exactly was going on, and while the boy was internally panicking because the book managed to cause a big scene yet again, said magical artifact was shaking from the excitement of finally causing a mess, even if the number of explosions was minimal.
"Let me through goddammit!" Someone finally managed to pass both the crowd outside and inside the class. To Izuku's misfortune that was the principal. "Now, what is going on here?"
Immediately everyone started shouting their answers to that question, which unfortunately didn't help. Locking eyes with Midoriya, then shifting his eyes to the creepy book floating nearby, the principal immediately understood who was the culprit.
"Everyone calm down, we have everything under control! Please return to your classes, except for those who were here, follow your teacher! Midoriya, come with me, and bring this thing with you. And stop trying to call the police or heroes here, they will not save you from your education!"
"Hey there buddy, I'm more than just a 'thing'!"
As Izuku followed behind the principal and Bombinomicon who was attempting to pull him into an argument, he turned to look at the surrounding crowd. Everyone was either confused, amused or scared. But the familiar red eyes who haunted him for most of his life didn't have anything in them apart from pure anger. Fortunately or unfortunately, Bakugou was further down the list of his current problems.
'Can I have just one normal day?'

Made a cover image. I hope it looks ok.
Can't come up with anything weird to write in the notes. Please, write a review, my dear reader.
