Chapter 4: Dead at the giant

'FUCKEN NAZI BASTARD' Dempsey shouted as he pointed his M1911 at the man, the shout and his reaction caused Naruto to point his gun towards the man as well.

'Hello German, have you come here to give Nikolai vodka?' the drunkard asked with hope in his voice.

'No Nikolai' The man in uniform stated

'You bastard first no vodka but you know Nikolai's name how?' he stated aimed his gun accusingly causing everyone to look at Nikolai with looks of confusion.

'But Nikorai stated his name' Takeo pointed out, before they were interrupted by a screaming and the breaking of boards.

The five looked on to see an undead horde slowly breaking through the barriers.

'They not looking so good' Nikolai blurted out before the German started to unload his bullets into the zombie horde but after a second thought the others started shooting at the living dead which had now broken through the barriers.

'Zis way, we can turn on ze power' the German shouted leading them to the right leading them into a room with a furnace, an odd drinks dispenser and a set of stairs leading to the second floor.

'Keep going it's up ahead' the German said frantically leading them up the stairs and through a broken wall, the others stopped after watching him jump down into the hallway with a group of tesla coils behind a chain-link fence. Running behind the machine a clanging sound followed by the lights and the connection of the bridge. This caused all the doors and machines to start wiring with power while the three followed the German after witnessing this Nikolai went straight to the closest drinks machine.

'Bleh, they call this nog but Nikolai cannot taste alcohol' he coughed out noticing the zombies had reached the top of the stairs, he open fired before running after the others into building behind the power generator, it had a large machine with a swastika emblazoned on the front of the machine and a stair case that lead up to a catwalk.

'You four get in ze teleporter, Naruto you come vith me to provide cover fire and Takeo pull the switch when we jump of the catwalk' the German ordered getting a nod from Takeo and then running up the stairs Naruto following quickly behind him.

'HEY CRAZY GERMAN BASTARD HOW'D YOU KNOW OUR NAMES?!' Tank shouted as he started to shoot at the undead that had made it to the doorway.

'Schtupid Dempsey, I'll explain later' the man in the Nazi uniform said over his shoulder jumping off the catwalk with Naruto copying his actions as he followed behind.

Takeo pulled the switch in the machine causing a beep followed by a voice saying 'link the teleporter to the mainframe' they continued to spray their bullets into the zombies that were jogging forward.

'I'M RUNNING LOW ON AMMO... NIKOLAI WHAT ARE YOU DOING' Tank yelled out spotting Nikolai at the top of the catwalk crouched near a wooden chest that opened causing an assault rifle to come out. Nikolai grabbed the gun and started to fire at the undead from above,

'Only fair for Nikolai to share bullets with hell pigs' the fat man laughed to himself before promptly being pushed away from the box by Dempsey who proceeded to pull a light machine gun from it. 'HEY, stupid American don't lay hands on Nikolai' he barked out.

'Couldn't let you hog the weird box you commie pig' Tank laughed out firing his LMG into the horde 'OORAH' he shouted grinning to himself as his rounds started to cut down the undead.

Naruto was running after the man who led him to the area where they first met up, the man ran up to the control panel next to the machine that looked like one of the teleporters with the only difference being the strange blue device inside.

The man in uniform hit the button on the panel causing a loud beep to blare and the voice from before saying 'teleporter linked'

'Naruto, I need you to head to one of the other teleporters, take the route ve turned ze power on at and take a right at ze top stairs it should be right Infront of you' The German ordered getting a nod from the blonde who ran off in that direction shooting his gun at any zombie that got in his way.

Once he made it up the stairs Naruto took a right leading to a room with two vats and at the back the teleporter which he made a run to pulling the switch like Takeo had done earlier giving off the same message only for the linkup to happen a moment later.

A button next to the switch started to glow red and since the undead were on their way while he was short on ammunition Naruto hit the button causing a blinding flash of light with a screeching noise. Naruto closed his eyes and felt an odd sensation making him open his eyes in surprise at being back next to the German.

'Vell done take this' he said handing Naruto a M1 Garand 'I will get ze last teleporter you need to just hit zat button okay' the man said running of in the opposite direction of the teleporter he'd turned on leaving Naruto to shoot the heads from zombies with his new gun.

The alarm sound of the final teleporter linking up caught Naruto's attention as he made his way towards the button before he slammed the butt of his Garand into the face of a zombie that tried to leap at him smashing its jaw before it fell to the floor, when it looked up its head was crushed beneath Naruto's boot. He then hit the button causing a loud hissing noise from the teleporter behind him noticing the door was now open and a strange blue machine with three rotating metal wheels visible inside.

Naruto looked at the sign seeing the name of said machine the pack a punch and a strange depiction of a gun with a wilted barrel 'can guns get erect... what did Tank call it erectile disjunction... oh erectile disfunction' he exclaimed to himself as he put the M1911 into the machine causing it to whirr and spark playing a country tune while a small red flag saying please wait popping up.

When the machine had finished it glowed leaving two engraved pistols inside, confused Naruto picked up the guns and decided to test them, so he pointed the one in his right hand at the closest zombie pulling the trigger a red flash shut from the muzzle sending a large amount of recoil into his arm he looked at the decimated torso of the zombie that had been obliterated. 'Holy Shit... that was AMAZING' Naruto exclaimed laughing to himself until he was alerted by a shout from the German who was running back towards him.

'Naruto come un ve must get back to ze others now' He exclaimed frantically before running past and towards where they had left the others by the first teleporter. Running they ran through the gate and newly opened door so they didn't have to take the original route they took to get to the power switch they could see a glowing blue beacon coming from up on the catwalk to see Tank who had noticed them standing next to a strange wooden box.

'HEY KID WATCH THIS!' Dempsey shouted down as the box opened revealing guns that cycled through each other till it landed on a teddy bear 'What the fuck give me a gun box not a stupid bear' he stated exasperated as Nikolai was laughing at him before he was interrupted by a little girl's sinister distorted giggling before the box shot up into the sky.

Naruto was left dumbstruck as he continued following the German into the building, he had recognised the giggling so eerily familiar to his friend Samantha, he wasn't close enough to recognise the bear, but he was sure it was hers since she always kept it close when he would visit.

'Everyone teleporter now' the German demanded before standing in the centre 'vhat are you vaiting for quickly' he said frantically as this caught Takeo's and Nikolai's attention as they made their way towards the machine seeing the younger blond with the Nazi.

Tank begrudgingly made his way towards the teleporter until there were flashes of lightning outside followed by howls a dark voice boomed out 'Fetch me their souls' letting the others notice the flaming dogs running towards them at great speeds on their rotted legs.

Seeing this the three made a mad dash for the teleporter, Naruto giving them cover fire blowing up the hell hound that were getting closer allowing for Takeo, Nikolai and Dempsey to get in before the German hit the button causing a flashing light and screeching sound leaving only the zombified hounds growling by the machine.

Sorry this took so long to update I've had work and my sleep schedule is more fucked than me and the boys in the narrow hallways of Verruckt the first time we played in world at war, so just be patient as I will try my best to at least make sure to update weekly so I hope you enjoy.
