"You took them down fast." Mira said as she approached Ben who sat on the black Shark Leviathan's carcasses.
Ben had a rather pissed off expression.
"It turned out that way. I planned to use my spells on this guy but he tried to eat me. I had no choice but to kill it so I cooked it from the inside out." He said.
"Hmm, it sure smells delicious. You cooked it well." Mira said.
"Just the area around the heart. I moved closer to it's heart so I could kill it fast. Anyway, let's return to the port. I don't want other sea monsters to come because of these carcasses."
"Alright." Mira said.
She and Ben then tie the two carcasses to Light Runner's boat mode using a magic rope. Ando can only watch them with a dumbfound expression. He never thought the Shark Leviathan caused so much trouble and failed to be subdued for months died so easily.
Furthermore, there is a new Shark Leviathan so the difficult must have risen too. This isn't just a difficult S-Class job. It might be closer to a Decade Quest. But Ben finished it by himself in a short amount of time.
"There were 2 Shark Leviathans here. That wasn't in the job description. Why do you think that was?" Mira asked Ando as they head back to the port.

"Yeah, I think they are married." Ben nodded.
Bella looked down sadly.
"Pitiful." She said.
"So you pity them huh? Then I assume you won't eat their meat." Ben said with a smirk.
Bella then jolted up.
"Not pitiful, bad fish!" She yelled.
"Oh, then what should we do with the bad fish?" Ben asked.
"Eat!" Bella exclaimed happily.
They all laugh and talk some more on their way back. It was a happy occasion because they got 2 giant magical creatures. They can take it back to the guild and they'll have a feast with their guild mates.
The meat of magical creatures is very good for mages. It gave them a magic power boost and they are tasty too. The boost depends on the power of the magical creatures, so these 2 S-Class creatures will provide a boost of power to everyone.
Still, it will depend on the mages who eat the meat to get a good result. They need to absorb the magic power properly or it will just be a waste. But everyone has a different absorption rate, so the results aren't always good.
Still, high-class ingredients like these will give good results even for those with a poor absorption rate. This will improve everyone's power and might even help those who hit a wall and couldn't improve their magic power for a long time.
Other materials from S-Class creatures are also valuable. These 2 have some precious materials like tough skin, very hard bones and especially body armor. They can be made into high-quality magic items that will also be useful.
The group then reached the port and their achievement surprised everyone there. They receive an additional reward because of the 2nd Shark Leviathan. It was a huge factor and they will need to pay more to issue a new quest because of the higher difficulty if Ben failed.
After finishing the procedure, Ben's group returned to Magnolia. There's nothing to do in this port because most of the people had left. So there's no use staying here as there wasn't any entertainment.
It's better for them to return and share the meat with their guild mates before the meat is spoiled. Fortunately, there's a mage specialized in Ice Magic at the port. It's not Ice-Make Magic like Gray, but Frozen Magic to freeze fish, and he isn't very strong so he needed some time to freeze the 2 gigantic Shark Leviathans.
Ben put them on a big cart and pulled the cart along with Light Runner. He reduced the weight with Gravity Magic so they can move fast. The Frozen Magic wouldn't last long so they need to move fast or the meat would spoil.
It didn't take long for them to reach the guild because Ben drove really fast. They gather everyone to help with the dismantling because the Shark Leviathans are too big. Everyone was impressed by the sheer size of the black
Shark Leviathan.
"I can't believe you killed it by yourself. How did you manage to kill something like this?" Macao asked with a dumbfound expression.
"He's a Wizard Saint. What makes you think he couldn't kill it? It would be weird if he didn't manage to kill it." Wakaba said.
"Well, that's true." Macao replied.
"Hmm, it was partly this thing's fault. It tried to eat me but I cooked it from the inside out. Anyway, you should help them dismantle the monsters or you won't get your share of meat." Ben told the two.
"You shouldn't overwork old men like us." Wakaba sighed.
"Old men? Well, if you really want to become old men, I can help with that." Ben said with a smirk.
Macao and Wakaba flinch in fear because they thought Ben could really do it. Even if he can't, he can beat them up and make them obedient. They need to save themselves so they rush to help the others.
"Master, I found something." A man said as he cut the black Shark Leviathan's heart.
"What is it?" Ben asked.
"This, a small lacrima crystal ball, but I doubt it's a ordinary lacrima crystal." The man said as he showed him a blue lacrima crystal ball the size of a small coin.
"Hmm, then I will investigate it. Good job with this discovery." Ben said as he took the small blue lacrima crystal ball.
Ben looked at it and tried to analyze it using A.I Chip while having his magic power flow into it.

'It was in that black Shark Leviathan's body, so maybe this lacrima caused this thing to become stronger than a normal Shark Leviathan. But this is small and can't be compared to Smog's dragon lacrima. It will be a waste to use it on someone because it doesn't have a lot of magic power. The black Shark Leviathan didn't become overwhelming stronger than the rest of it's kind. I'm worried that this might be a defective product and hurt the user instead.' Ben thought.
Ben decided to keep it for now and investigate it later. He looked at the dismantling process that was going well and decided to help to finish it even faster. They were soon finished and immediately cook some portions of the meat.
It was a feast that day because they have so much meat. The meat was delicious and they can all feel energy surging into their body. Young mages have the power to grow more than the older mages.
But the ones who grew the most, were of course, Ben and Mira. The S-Class mages have more talent and potential in magic so their absorption rate is higher too. Growth is still growth, no matter how small it is. Even though the magic power they got was small compared to their capacity, the 2 are still happy with their growth.
He looked at his guild mates grow.
'As I thought, making them grow is also important so they can at least protect themselves when stronger enemies appear. It seems I need to take jobs more often to get high-quality meat like this for them. Not like I certainly enjoy my trip outside, yeah, certainly not that.' Ben thought.
