You dash in all sorts of directions, trying to find the generator room. You're so close, you can feel it. You keep running through hallways. It just keeps repeating. After what feels like about 4 minutes, you reach the generator room. You have one minute until she is executed. You look at the generator and find a switch. You flip it, and everything goes black. The lights are off. You retrace your steps and find the execution room. She is still there. Nobody can see. You may only have a few seconds. You need to do this fast. First, you cut the wire leading to the chair, and then you go up to the chair. There's a few chains of some sort holding it together. You're not strong enough to break them...
You look around the room, you see nothing but the electric chair. Wait. There are just a few chains strapping her to the chair. You just need to get those off. Using a move would create too much light. You slowly sneak into the control room next to the execution room. You see a drawer titled 'weapons'. You open it and find a knife. A hot knife. You can use this, but you need to be careful. You run back to the electric chair. The lights start flickering, and then they go fully black again. Your eyes start to adjust finally. You put the hot knife behind one chain and pull it towards you. The chain somehow snaps. You do it 2 more times, and there is only one chain left. The lights flicker again, and you cut the last chain. She's knocked out. You shock her, and she wakes up. The lights come on. She grabs you and runs out of the room.
"Thank you, Pikachu. You're the best."
She squeezes you very tight, and you notice some guards behind you both. You shock them real quick and jump out of her arms. You run down a hallway and pick up Houndour. Carrying him, you soon catch up with Kamikali, and you both run out and into the forest.
"I just... I can't thank you enough. Pikachu. Thank you. So. Much. Here I'll heal Houndour, then I will figure out what to do from there."
You nod, and then you run away. You should probably go back home, but you decide to go to the beach and calm down a bit.
You get to the beach and sit down next to the water. You stare out at the red, orange, and yellow tides from the beautiful sunset. This is really calming. Your whole body hurts, and you can't resist, you lay down, and soon you easily fall asleep.
When you wake up, you are in the same spot, but there is a Vaporeon right next to you.
"Oh. You're awake." They say. "Sorry, just I didn't know if you was. You know. Dead." They finish.
"It's... fine?" You say.
"Thanks. I'm Vaporeon. Nice to meet you."
"I'm Pikachu. It's nice to meet you too."
Vaporeon giggles and swims away. She waves goodbyes as she dives down into the icy depths. You wave back and get up, feeling refreshed. You decide you are going to adventure a bit more. Maybe make some more friends. You really start to appreciate all the little things, all the pokemon, all the trees, the air you breathe, there is simply so much you start to appreciate. You start to walk around, this journey is going to be great!
