Chapter 5
Yagi walks towards young Midoriya school, deeply thinking about what the young man said.
When he woke up this morning he was surprised that young Midoriya already had a a answer for his offer, and a little sad that he refused, but it was okay, maybe young Togata will be a good successor.
But then the green haired boy told him that there was a friend of his that was worthy of receiving One for All, that she also aims to be a hero and has more determination and good heart than anyone he had ever met.
He asked All Might to give her a chance to prove it, he didn't have to mention his identity as All Might or the quirk itself, only to meet her and think about it.
Well, he was going to train young Midoriya if he had accepted the quirk, maybe he could give that training for his friend and see if young Midoriya is right and she is a good choice.
Yagi sees some teens wearing the same school uniform that young Midoriya had yesterday and tries to find the young man, it didn't took too long to find him and if he were to guess, the friend he said is the brown haired girl that he is talking.
"So, who is this friend that you spoke about ?" Uraraka ask as Izuku supress the urge to scream at the thought of calling All Might his friend.
All Might told him that he was going to his school to meet Uraraka, Izuku decided to spin the story a little and told her about a friend of his that he wants her to meet, thankfully Uraraka agreed to it without question.
"He is a nice guy, he was a hero but had to retire from the job due to being wounded in service, he gave me some tips when i told him that i was aiming to become a hero." Well, he isn't entirely wrong, All Might was wounded by someone, but Uraraka doesn't know that the man is All Might.
That made Uraraka smile, which Izuku finds really cute... he shakes his head to get rid of these thoughts.
"He was a hero ?! What was his name ? Was he a rescue hero ? What is his quirk ? Wha-" Izuku puts a hand on Uraraka shoulder to calm her down, is this how he is when he asks his questions ?
"(Yes.)" Izuku eyebrow twitches at the fox comment.
Just when he was about to answer her questions, he hears an familiar voice "Young Midoriya !"
Izuku and Uraraka looks at where the voice came and saw All Might in his civilian state coming at them,
Izuku uses all his willpower to resist the urge to shout All Might "Yagi-san, how are you ?"
Toshinori stops in front of the duo and smiles "I'm good young Midoriya, and who is your friend ?"
"Oh right ! Yagi-san this is my friend Uraraka Ochako, Uraraka-chan this is Yagi Toshinori, the hero i told you about." The look that All Might sent to Izuku made the boy laugh a little, does All Might think that he told her about his identity ?
"Ooooh, so you are the retired hero that Izu-kun said, what was your hero name ?" In her excitment, Uraraka didn't saw the hero sigh in relief, seems like young Midoriya did some changes on his identity.
"Ummm, my hero name isn't important for now, i came here to talk with both of you about something important." That got both Uraraka and Izuku attention, the latter wonders if it's about One for All or something else
"Young Midoriya told me that he aims to become a hero and so do you young Uraraka, am i right ?" Uraraka nods.
"Yeah, i aim to be a hero like Thirtheen !" Yagi can see the determination in her eyes and inwardly smiles, it seems that young Midoriya may be right.
"Well then, i have a offer to make for both of you, i want to train you two for the UA entrace exams." Uraraka and Izuku had wide eyes at that offer, Izuku itself was even more excited since he knew the man true identity.
But then he sighs, he already has his training with Ninjutsu and harness Kurama chakra, he doubts that All Might knows something about it.
"Sorry Yagi-san, i'm already training with someone that has a quirk similar to mine, he already taught me a lot of things and he still have even more things to teach me." All Might nods, he is glad that young Midoriya was already getting ready for UA.
Uraraka on the other hand nods "Ok... but what kind of training do you have in mind Yagi-san ?"
"Meet me at Takoba beach tomorrow and i will tell you, you can come too if you want young Midoriya." Izuku nods, he is curious about what kind of training All Might had in mind.
Uraraka nods "Ok then Yagi-san, but can you tell me why you are like that ? Is something related to your quirk ?" Yagi coughs some blood in surprise, he doesn't have any idea on how to explain this.
But that caught the attention of both students "Yagi-san ?! Are you okay ?" Uraraka shouts in worry at the sigh of the blood on his hand.
"I'm fine young Uraraka, this is just the result of the wound that made me retire from the hero work, it only happens when i'm surprised and it's nothing serious." Uraraka sighs in relief but Izuku frowns, he still hates the fact that he can't do anything to ease the hero pain.
He quickly masks his frown with a smile "So, tomorrow at Takoba beach then, Uraraka-chan do you mind going without me today ? I need to speak with Yagi-san a little." Uraraka nods and gives him a hug before leaving, Yagi saw the blush on the young man face and couldn't stop the small smirk from appearing.
"Bye Izu-kun ! See you later." Izuku nods, the blush still on his face as he sees Uraraka go away.
When he sees that there is no one to hear them, Izuku clears his throat "So uh, what do you think ?" Yagi hums, he can see that Uraraka is determined to become a hero, but he won't tell her about his identity or One for All yet.
"For now i can see that you are right about her, but i will wait until her training is finished to tell her everything and offer her One for All." Izuku nods with a smile, he knows that if someone deserves that power, it's Uraraka.
But then Izuku widen his eyes and facepalms, he was so focused about Uraraka and All Might meeting that he forgot to ask her if she wanted to stay with him and his mother when UA starts.
Yagi looks at Izuku, confused at why the Kyuubi jinchuuriki did that "Uh, young Midoriya is everything okay ?"
Izuku shakes his head "Don't worry All Might, it's something that i forgot." Toshinori nods.
"Well, better i make my leave then, or else my teacher will be in a bad mood, he can be a little grumpy when i'm late." Izuku resist the urge to laugh at the growl that Kurama did on his head.
"Ok then young Midoriya, see you tomorrow ?" Izuku nods as he walk towards home, Izuku wonders what kind of training All Might has in mind, and he feels a little sad to not be able to train with him.
Izuku covers his nose as the scent of trash invades his nose.
Izuku already knew about the state of the Takoba beach, that's why he was curious about what All Might was planning, Izuku even thought on taking a day to create a lot of shadow clones to clean the beach but he didn't have free time to do it.
And Uraraka isn't better, she too cover her nose to try and avoid the smell of trash.
"(I'm glad that i don't have to smell it.)" Izuku curses the fox luck, when he arrives at home he will take a good bath to try and get rid of the smell.
"Ah, you already arrived and right on the time." All Might says as he walks towards the teens, the smell not bothering him.
Izuku and Uraraka are glad that it's both saturday and that they already finished any pending work they had, now Uraraka can focus on whatever training that Yagi will pass.
Izuku decides to jump straight to the question, he wants to leave this place as soon as possible "Uh Yagi-san, what are we doing here ?"
All Might then gesture to the trash around "As you two know, this place used to be a beach where everyone used to go, but now it's just a place where everyone throws trash, it's unacceptable that something so beautiful became something like this." He then points at Uraraka.
"A hero isn't just a job where you defeat villains and rescues civilians, heroes also do communitary service, be it saving a kitten from the tree or even helping someone with the groceries, it's still an example that everyone should do."
"You have ten months until the entrace exams, in this time you will clean this place, not only it's a communitary service but it will help you to gain muscle and stamina." Uraraka had wide eyes at that, clean this whole beach alone ?!
"But that's not the only thing we will be doing, mind telling me what is your quirk ?"
Uraraka recovers from her shock and answers the hero "It's zero gravity, it allows me to take the gravity of everything i touch with all my fingers, but if i go over my limit i will feel sick and nauseous, i can take away my own gravity but i will get sick much faster." Yagi nods, an excellent quirk for rescue and close combat.
"A good quirk for close combat, now we need to train your body and since young Midoriya already has someone to train him, he won't interfere with your training, right ?" Izuku nods, he doesn't plan on doing anything to interfere Uraraka training.
Uraraka sighs as she looks around, the mountains of trash seems endless "...Better get started." She says with a dejected tone and Izuku sheepishly smiles at her.
"Isn't... too much for her All- Yagi-san ?" Izuku quickly corrects himself, he doesn't want to risk Uraraka hearing him and end uo finding out about All Might secret.
It has been three hours that Uraraka started cleaning the beach, Izuku could see the signs that she was tired and out of breath but she didn't plan on stopping yet, and to make things even worse, All Might gave her some gloves in case she end up using her quirk by accident.
If All Might noticed his correction, he didn't said anything "Maybe, but i believe that she can do it, not only it will help her build some muscle mass but if she accepts One for All, she would need to do this anyway." Izuku nods but then he realizes something.
"Wait... if i had said yes then i would be the one doing that ?" When All Might nodded, Izuku was glad that Kurama convinced him to not accept the quirk.
As All Might and Izuku watches Uraraka clean the beach, the jinchuuriki mind starts to wander towards a way to create new jutsus on his own, he knows that he still needs to learn the Rasenshuriken, but maybe he can try and experiment on the jutsus he already knows to create differents ones ? If he could try and see what else he could do with chidori, or even something similar to the chidori and the rasengan but with the fire element.
Izuku snaps out of his thought when he saw that Uraraka sat down to rest, her face drenched in sweat as she tries to regain her breath with her eyes closed, maybe she should rest today ?
Izuku uses Shunshin and appears right at her side, surprising All Might since he didn't knew that young Midoriya could do that.
Uraraka feels a pleasant feeling at her arms, when she opens her eyes, the gravity girl saw Izuku using the healing jutsu that he told her about, and she let out a sigh as the jutsu starts to lessen the pain in her arms, even if it's a little.
"Thanks... Izu-kun." Izuku nods and gives her a smile as he keeps applicating the healing jutsu.
All Might walks towards the two teens before clearing his throat, bringing their attention to the hero.
"I believe that you should rest for now young Uraraka, you already did a lot just for the first day. As both of you know, the UA exams starts in ten months, we will use those months to train your body, that's why i created this for you." All Might takes some papers from his pocket and gives to Uraraka.
Izuku looks behind Uraraka shoulder and sees that it's a traning schedule, he was surprised that it even had a time to sleep.
"Wow, and all of this will allow her to clean the beach in ten months ?" All Might nods, it will be a test for her, if she manages to finish it then he will offer her the One for All.
Uraraka nods, determined to get stronger for her dream "I will do it Yagi-san."
All Might grins at the determination in young Uraraka eyes, maybe young Midoriya was right and she will be a good choice.
"I know that you will young Uraraka, but you should rest for now, you already did some progress and tomorrow we will start for real." Uraraka nods, the gravity girl doubts that she can do anything else now.
"I guess i will see you tomorrow, don't forget to follow the schedule, goodbye." Yagi says before walking away, leaving the two teens alone at the junkyard.
Uraraka sighs in relief as she feels the healing jutsu ease the aches and the pain on her body, seems like those ten months will be the worst.
"It's getting late..." Uraraka looks at Izuku and realizes that it's true, it's starting to get dark.
"Can you walk Uraraka-chan ?" Uraraka nods and, with a little help from Izuku, gets up and stretches her arms, the healing jutsu that Izuku used was helpful, but she still feels some pain from her arms.
"So... the whole beach." Izuku says as he looks around, ten months to clean all of this... alone.
Uraraka nods with a sigh, it will be a pain to clean all of this but she doesn't plan on giving up.
Izuku blushes a little, damn it, he knows Uraraka for five years, why is he hesitating to ask her if she wants to stay with him and his mom while she attends UA ?
"U-um...Uraraka-chan, y-you said that you were planning to rent an apartment for UA... right ?" Uraraka nods and Izuku takes a deep breath, it's now or never.
"I-uh, i was thinking a little and... what if instead of renting an apartment... would you like to stay in my house instead ?" Izuku says with a bright blush, damn it, why was it so hard to ask that ?
Uraraka widen her eyes at that question, she didn't expect for him to ask that out of blue, she instantly shakes her head "N-no, i don't want to bother you two."
"I-it's okay ! My mom doesn't mind at all, actually, she was pretty happy when i suggested that." Sure, he won't repeat the things that she said when Izuku suggested the idea, but she was really happy at the idea.
"B-but i can handle myself, you don't have to do that." Uraraka really doesn't want to intrude in Izuku or Inko day life, but Izuku won't back down.
"You don't have to worry, my mom really likes you and i know you for five years, you don't have to worry about anything." Uraraka still isn't really convinced, but she can see that Izuku won't accept no as an answer.
She sighs "Ok Izu-kun... but only if you promise me that you won't give up your room for me." Izuku pales, oh god he forgot about all the hero merch on his room.
"Um, errrr, well..." Uraraka glares at Izuku with a pout, which is rather cute in his opinion.
"I can't promise anything ?" Izuku says with a sheepishly smile, but Uraraka didn't lessen her glare.
Izuku sighs, guess he won't be winning this one "Ok i guess..." Uraraka nods, a smile forming on her face.
"Ok then, i only need to talk with my parents about it now, but considering that they know your mom, i believe they will accept." When Izuku nods, Uraraka waves in goodbye before leaving to the train station.
Izuku sighs as he look at the sky, it wasn't as bad as it could be... right ?
"(If you had the same courage that you do when you face criminals then it would be far easier.)" Izuku eye twitches, damned fox.
"(Weren't you asleep ?)" Izuku truly hopes that the fox haven't saw what happened here.
But alas, his prayer was not answered "(No, watching you trying to ask your girlfriend to live with you was better than sleep.)"
Izuku face grows red as he scowls "(She is not my girlfriend you sleeping beauty !)"
Now it was Kurama turn to scowl "(Who are you calling sleeping beauty you damn brat !)"
"(You, your big orange ball of fur !)" Kurama growls, this brat is worse than Naruto.
Kurama grumbles something but doesn't say anything else, Izuku sighs but had a smile on his face, five years ago he would have never thought on bickering with a gigant nine tailed fox, now look where he got.
Izuku starts to make his way to home, planning to try and expand his lighting jutsu repertory.
The next two months were hard for both Uraraka and Izuku, the former was really determined to impress the hero and get stronger for the exam, but unfortunaly, Izuku couldn't be always there to use the healing jutsu since he had his own training.
Speaking about the green haired jinchuriki, Izuku isn't far behind on his objective on expanding his lighting jutsus thanks to one of the most important things that Kurama told him that was needed for the Rasenshuriken, the shape transformation.
The fox explained that the rasenshuriken is an variation of the normal rasengan, but far stronger than it.
Izuku had accidently used the shape transformation too when he created the Great Rasengan, not to mention that the demon cloak itself is a result of shape transformation.
When he learned of the shape transformation, Izuku decided to pick his Chidori and try to use the concept on the jutsu.
"Ok then, the shape transformation changes the form, moviment and potency of the chakra, the normal rasengan uses an quantity of chakra while the Great Rasengan uses more chakra than the normal, what if..." Izuku has a wild guess about the Chidori, instead of using it only on his hands, what if he tried to extend the lightning, if it works then it would be excellent in close combat.
Izuku closes his eyes and focus on his chakra, he created a Chidori on his hand and takes a deep breath.
'Extend the Chidori, don't limit it to your hands only, make the lighting grow.' Izuku open his eyes and focus his chakra on the Chidori, making the lighting go to every direction instead of it being limited to his hands.
Izuku grins at the result, it's not perfect yet and he still needs more practice with it, but it's progress.
'I wonder... what should i call this new jutsu ?'
"(Name it Chidori Nagashi, trust me.)" Kurama says, but if one pay attention to his voice, you can see that the fox was impressed by Izuku progress.
'The kid managed to recreate the Chidori Nagashi from Sasuke, i wonder what else he will recreate without knowing.'
Izuku nods, Chidori Nagashi... seems a good name.
Izuku releases the lighting jutsu and rests a little, only eight months for the exam, he needs to train harder.
Three more months has passed, Izuku had finally mastered the Chidori Nagashi, a deadly jutsu for close combat and more useful in the water than the normal Chidori.
Izuku was planning on trying to create another fire jutsu, but after realizing that trying to do a fire jutsu on a place surrounded by trees might not be a good idea, he decided to return his training of the rasenshuriken.
But when he was on the way to his training place, All Might appeared in front of him in his Yagi Toshinori form, looking a bit nervous.
"Yagi-san, is everything ok ?" Izuku is glad that, after five months, he finally can talk with All Might without freaking out... of course, when he is on his civilian form.
"Um, yes young Midoriya, i was just thinking... young Uraraka already cleaned a good part of the beach, and i was thinking on... revealing everything." Izuku nods, those five months Uraraka managed to clean half of the beach, and Izuku saw what the training did to her... Izuku shakes his head to get those thoughts out of his head.
"I think it's a good idea, maybe knowing that All Might himself is training her may make her more determined to clean the beach... and ease her pain of not being able to eat mochi." Izuku and Yagi shares a laugh at the last part, when Uraraka learned that she wouldn't be able to eat mochi while training she was depressed for a while.
"Errr, i was planning to reveal everything tomorrow, will you be training ?" Izuku hums, maybe it's time to get a break tomorrow, he already learned the Chidori Nagashi.
"I guess i will be taking a break tomorrow, i want to see how she will react to it." Izuku couldn't help but imagine what will be her reaction, just the thought makes him chuckle.
"Out of curiosity young Midoriya, how mad would Uraraka be when she learns that you knew all this time that i was All Might ?" Izuku stops laughing and thinks about it, it is a very big secret, surely she will understand... right ?
"Maybe i should bring some mochi for her." Izuku mutters with a scared face, making All Might laugh.
Uraraka was confused, she was on her way to Takoba to keep cleaning it, and despite all the pain that she had gone through while cleaning the beach, it did wonders to her.
She is now physically stronger, something that was lacking for her, not to mention that her stamina is far better than before, and she feels proud of where she got today, seeing that half of the trash that was on the beach is now gone thanks to her... it truly makes all of that worth.
But today, Yagi-san didn't appear with the truck to take away the trash and even Izu-kun was there, which was rare since he was also training hard for the exam.
"Um, Yagi-san where is the truck ? And Izu-kun what are you doing here ? I thought you were training." After reaching them, Uraraka saw that Izuku was holding something behind his back, and he also had a sheepish smile.
"Hey Uraraka-chan ! Um, errrr, i brought you mochi !" That made Uraraka narrow her eyes at the jinchuuriki, when Izuku did something wrong, he always brings mochi to try and calm her down.
Seeing that, Izuku gives Yagi a pleading look, the man sighs and decides to go straight to the point "Young Uraraka, today we decided to give you a break because we need to tell you something really important, even young Midoriya decided to take some time away from his training for it." Uraraka was a bit taken aback by the serious tone on his mentor and also how Izuku face grew serious.
When Uraraka nods, Yagi continues "As you know, five years ago i was wounded by a villain and decided to retire myself from the hero job right ?" Uraraka nods, she always asked who the villain was or what was his hero name, but the former always made him frown and the latter he always managed to avoid the question.
"The thing is, i never retired." Uraraka widen her eyes at that, he still is a active hero ?
"B-but you look like a skeleton !" She blurts before she could even stop herself, making Yagi cough blood at the sudden comment and Izuku lose his composure and starts to laugh.
Uraraka blushes at her slip, but Yagi quickly reassures her that he wasn't offended. When Izuku finally stop laughing, Yagi continues "And the reason that i always avoided your questions about what was my hero name is that..." Yagi takes a deep breath.
"It's because i am All Might." Uraraka was jaw slacked at that revelation and was shaking her head.
"W-wait, you can't be All Might, i mean, he is a really big and strong guy, the strongest hero out there !" Uraraka shouts and turn to look at Izuku but she was stunned when he nodded to Yagi words.
"Yagi-san is speaking the truth Uraraka-chan, believe me, when he told me i didn't thought it was true until he showed me." Yagi then looks around to see if there is anyone close, when he didn't saw anyone he turned to Uraraka, who was still stunned at Izuku.
"Young Uraraka, please don't freak out." Uraraka looks back at him and resisted the urge to shout when he transformed in a puff of smoke.
"HAHAHA ! I AM HERE !" Yagi, now transformed in All Might says as he makes his iconic hero pose.
"All Might ! B-but- How ?!" All Might laughs at his possible successor reaction, and even Izuku chuckled at her a bit.
All Might, in another puff of smoke, goes back to his civilian form "I know that it may be a shock for you, but i'm speaking the truth, i am All Might." Uraraka decides to sit on the ground, trying to handle that the hero who was training her is All Might himself.
Izuku walks to Uraraka and sits close to her, when she looked at him, the jinchuuriki was offering her the box of mochi he brought with him while blushing a little.
She gives him a small smile as she picks one of the mochi inside and takes a bit, the taste of her favorite food helps a little to calm down.
After eating her mochi, Uraraka finally calms herself down to ask the question she was curious "Um, All Might-san, if all that you said is true then why are you training me ?"
Yagi chuckles a little at how she decided to use his hero name instead of his normal one "It's okay to call me Yagi as you did before young Uraraka." The gravity girl nods, maybe it will take some time until there but she will try to not call him All Might on his civilian form.
Yagi sighs before answering "The reason i was training you has relaction to my quirk." At that Uraraka was confused, doesn't he have a super strength quirk ?
Seeing her confusion, Yagi starts to explain "You see young Uraraka, the truth is that i was not born with this quirk, it was given to me." That sentence made Uraraka even more stunned than his revelation of being All Might.
"W-What do you mean ?" Yagi then clenches his hands, making a bright light leave it, both Izuku and Uraraka looks at it in awe, even if the former already saw it, it's still impressive to see it again.
"My quirk is called One for All, it was passed through generations, with each user it grew stronger, i am the eight user and i want you to become the ninth." Uraraka freezes in shock, waiting to see if it's just a prank and All Might transform into an Izuku clone, or wondering if it's all just a dream.
"W-what ? B-but why me ? W-why not someone like Izuku o-or a pro hero ? I mean, i'm not even a hero student yet, m-maybe someone who is already at UA ? Or-" Izuku gently pats her shoulder to calm her down before she could go in a ramble.
"(Oh no, your muttering is contagious, and you already made your first victim.)" Kurama says with a deadpan tone, Izuku growls at that but doesn't say anything.
That's when Uraraka turns to Izuku, seeing that he isn't surprised about the recent events "Izu-kun, did you knew all that already ?" Izuku nods, making Uraraka even more surprised than she already is.
"Yes, Yagi-san told me everything the day that i rescued you from the sludge villain... and you are handling everything far better than i did." Izuku says the last part with a blush.
Yagi clears his throat, grabbing the attention of the two teens "He did young Uraraka, young Midoriya was the one i had choosen before, but he declined the quirk." Uraraka looks at Izuku, who sheepishly smiles.
"I had to decline for... personal reasons." Izuku let out a sigh of relief when she nodded, but still was confused at why he would refuse something like that, he couldn't exactly say that he had a gigang nine tailed fox inside of his mind and that he was a bit afraid of how the One for All would react with him.
Yagi decides to continue "He declined the quirk but told me about you, young Uraraka, he told me that he considered you worthy to receive this quirk, that you are the most heroic and kind person that he had ever known." Izuku and Uraraka blushes at what the hero said, the former because he didn't want Uraraka to know that he said that, and the latter because she didn't expected something like that from him.
"I was planning to tell you everything when you had finished the training, but young Midoriya told me that it would be better to tell you now, both because of your progress and to know what your answer is." Uraraka nods, still having some trouble to understand everything.
"B-but what about you ? Will your quirk disappear if i accept or not ?" That made Izuku frown, he didn't stop to think about that.
But Yagi shakes his head while smiling at his successor and future student concerns "Don't worry about it for now young Uraraka, my time as All Might will end one day even if i pass on the quirk or not, but i still have plenty of time to train you as my successor." Uraraka frowns at the thought that All Might will retire one day, but if he and Izuku thinks that she should be the one to receive One for All.
"I accept Yagi-san !" Uraraka says with a determined glint on her eyes, making both Izuku and Yagi grin.
"That's the spirit young Uraraka, now you only need to finish your training and then you will be able to receive it !" That made Uraraka groan at the remind of her objective, Izuku openly laughs at that and Yagi couldn't stop a few chuckles from escaping.
Izuku pants as he look at his hand, he finally did the Rasenshuriken.
Although it took more three months, two clones to make it and it's still far from perfect, he still managed to make an functional Rasenshuriken.
Unfortunaly, he can't test this jutsu, Kurama warned him that the Rasenshuriken is highly destructive and lethal, he would rather avoid destroying his training place.
He won't rely on it when in the exam, maybe when he master it a little more ar UA, but for now he can be happy that he finally made progress.
Izuku takes a deep breath and makes the signs to summon four shadow clones, it's something that he was planning for a while and it will be incredible reckless, but if it work then he may have a substitute for the Rasenshuriken.
While trying to learn the Rasenshuriken, Kurama taught Izuku the Wind Style:Rasengan, it takes more chakra but It's stronger than the normal Rasengan.
And that got Izuku wondering, what if he tried to combine that Rasengan with the Chidori ?
"(If i'm being honest, i never thought on doing something like that, if it works then you might have an incredible powerful, but dangerously lethal jutsu.)" Izuku, hearing the serious tone that Kurama has, knows now that he needs to be extra careful when doing this.
Izuku extends his hands to the two clones, similar to the Rasenshuriken, the Wind Style: Rasengan also needs two clones to become usable, trying to infuse the Rasengan with the wind style is incredible hard, but the shadow clones manages to bypass that problem, one creates the Rasengan while the other infuses it with the wind style.
Although that takes some time, Izuku needs to work in creating a Rasengan without clones as fast as possible.
The clones creates the Wind style: Rasengan while the other clone uses the Chidori, the clone sends a nod to the original Izuku.
"Ready when you are boss." Izuku nods and extends the Rasengan to the clone, who thrusts the Chidori into it, making it start to become unstable.
The original and the clone starts to use both their hands to try and make it stable, but after a few seconds the jutsu fades away alongside with the clone as Izuku sits on the ground, trying to regain his breath.
"Damn... that jutsu is highly unstable for me to control."
"(Although that's true, it took a few seconds for it to disappear, not to mention that it was powerful, if you are fast enough then you can use it against your enemies, but you only have a few seconds to hit them.)" Kurama is right, Izuku saw that despite being unstable, it took a few seconds for it to fade away, maybe...
"(You are right, but i can't test it here for the same reason as the Rasenshuriken.)" Kurama hums in affirmation and Izuku sighs but he still was happy, he feels confident that he can pass the exam with his skillset.
Izuku widen his eyes at what is in front of him.
Today is finally the day of the entrace exams, and so, he decided to take a break from training to feel rested for today.
But very early in the morning he decided to check on Uraraka progress at Takoba beach, the last time he saw, the beach was halfway cleaned.
But today...
"Holy, sticking... oh my... GOD !" Yagj says as he transform on his All Might form, and Izuku is also in awe at what he is seeing.
Uraraka finally did it, she cleaned the entire beach and just in the right time, there isn't even a speck of trash around the beach, it's perfectly clean !
Uraraka, hearing her mentor voice, turns around and gives them a tired smile "All Might... Izu-kun... i did it." She manages to say before falling from the mountain of trash that she was standing.
Izuku didn't waste time and used the Shunshin to catch her before she could hit the floor, he gives her a smile and then quickly blushes at what he did.
Uraraka opens her eyes a little and smiles "My... hero." Izuku blushes even further and even Uraraka blushes when she register what she said.
But the booming voice of the number one hero snaps them out of their thought "I KNEW YOU COULD DO IT YOUNG URARAKA, AND EVEN ON THE LAST DAY !"
Izuku helps Uraraka stand up while trying to shake off the thoughts of how the training changed her body.
Uraraka sheepishly smiles "I finally did it... All Might sensei."
All Might then picks up a strand of his hair "SOMEONE ONCE TOLD ME THAT THERE IS A DIFFERENCE ON BEING LUCKY AND BEING DESERVING, AND THIS IS THE RESULT OF YOUR EFFORDS YOUNG URARAKA !" Uraraka eyes brights up at the hero words and even Izuku couldn't stop his fanboy side from showing up.
"EAT THIS." Uraraka pauses a bit, maybe she did hear him wrong ?
"...what ?" Izuku shoulders starts to shake, the jinchuuriki is using all his willpower to hold back from laughing.
"TO RECEIVE ONE FOR ALL YOU NEED TO CONSUME MY DNA, AND THIS IS THE BEST WAY FOR IT TO HAPPEN." Uraraka feels like she is gonna be sick again.
"I... didn't expected this." Uraraka says as she reluctantly picks up the hair.
"DON'T WORRY, I WASH UP MY HAIR EVERY DAY !" And that's when Izuku lost it and starting to laugh at his best friend predicament.
Uraraka glares at him, which was unnoticed to the jinchuuriki as he gets up and wipes a tear from his eye.
Uraraka grimaces and eats the hair, she resist the urge to shiver in disgust for it "Gross."
After swallowing the hair, Uraraka looks at herself, trying to feel something different, and even Izuku was extremely curious about what will happen now.
"Um, i don't feel any different." Uraraka says with a confused face.
All Might goes back to his civilian form before explaining "I believe that it will take some time for you to digest it, but now you two need to hurry up and get ready for the exam." The two teens now remembers that today is the exam, and quickly wishes Yagi goodbyes before rushing to home.
"I still feel gross for eating that hair." Uraraka says with a shiver, Izuku chuckles a bit when he remembers how All Might said with the most straight face for Uraraka to eat the hair.
The duo looks up at the building that the exam will happen, one step towards being a hero, for both of them.
"Out of my way Deku !" Bakugou says as he pushes past Izuku.
"Good morning to you too Bakugou !" The explosion user ignores Izuku, making the boy frown a little.
"Well, at least he didn't screamed or anything similar, progress ?" Izuku mutters and turns to look at Uraraka, who was confused and slight angry at the boy rudeness.
"Who was he Izu-kun ?"
Izuku waves his hand "No one, just... an ex friend, we better get going." Izuku says as he starts to walk towards the building... just to trip on his excitment.
'Welp, it was good to live and all, please death, claim my soul now.'
Uraraka quickly taps Izuku on the shoulder with her five fingers and activates her quirk before he could hit the ground and adjusts him to stand up.
"There ! Now we are even, right ?" She says but had an teasing smile at her face, making Izuku blush at his slip.
"(...Idiot.)" Kurama says before going to take a nap.
Izuku eye twitches at that but decides to wisely ignore the fox instead of wasting time bickering with him.
Izuku and Uraraka looks around in awe, so many hero canditates, no wonder that UA has the hardest hero exam.
The lights in the auditory are turned off and in the center, a very familiar hero appears.
"Prsentic Mic !" Both Uraraka and Izuku whispers in awe, the former because she started to listen his radio shows when Izuku told her about it and found it really good and the latter because... well, he is a fanboy.
"HEY EVERYONE, WELCOME TO MY NEW SHOW TODAY, EVERYBODY SAY HEY !"
No one said anything but Present Mic didn't seem to mind "TOUGH CROWN HUH ? ANYWAY LET'S EXPLAIN A LITTLE ABOUT THE EXAM !"
Izuku and Uraraka starts to understand a lot about it, they need to destroy robots, there are three types of robots, their value range from 1 to 3, Izuku frowns at how the exam works, it seems more biased to those who have flashy or combat type quirks, what about those whose quirk only works in living person ?
"Seems like we are in different battle centers." Uraraka says with a pout and Izuku chuckles.
"I believe that it's because we are from the same school, maybe to avoid those who are friends to help each other ?" Uraraka still pouts but nods.
"Excuse me !" A tall boy with blue hair suddenly stands up.
"On the paper there is four villains, if it a mistake, a school like UA should be ashamed of doing such error, and you two ! With slit green eyes and you with brown hair !" Izuku and Uraraka tilt their heads confused at why he called them.
"You two are whispering and it's distracting everyone, if you are treating this like a game then you shouldn't be here !" Uraraka sheepishly smiles and apologies but Izuku scowls.
"Interrupting the teacher in the middle of the explanation is something far too rude than whispering, and i didn't called you out for that did i ?!" Izuku replies back with a bit of anger, he wouldn't let someone speak like that to him again, and especially speak like that to Uraraka.
Before the blue haired teen could answer, Present Mic quickly speaks "HEY CALM DOWN, NO FIGHTING HERE LITTLE LISTENERS ! AS FOR YOUR QUESTION EXAMINE NUMBER 7111, THE FORTH VILLAIN IS THE ZERO POINTER, AS THE NAME SUGGESTS IT DOESN'T GIVE YOU ANY POINTS AND IT'S TOO MUCH TROUBLE TO DEFEAT, YOU CAN DEFEAT IT BUT IT WOULD BE A WASTE OF TIME !" The blue haired teen nods and sits back on his chair.
After the explanation, the examines were sent to the changing room before entering the bus for their battle center.
Izuku frowns, he should have talked with UA before the exams to see if he could bring his kunais and explosive tags.
Well, seems like he will have to use his jutsus and fighting skills, thankfully his vigilante patrols and fights already helps at having real battle experience.
When the doors open, Izuku doesn't waste a second and already rushes to the battle, he sees a one pointer in front of him and smirks.
He quickly creates a shadow clone and uses the Rasengan, destroying it easily.
He hears Present Mic saying that there aren't countdown in real battles, making the rest of the examines start to enter the battle center too.
"Shadow Clone Jutsu !" Three clones appears and nods at the original Izuku before jumping, each one to a side.
'Good, now i can focus on the robots.' Izuku thought on summoning many shadow clones and use them to destroy the robots, but he decided to give himself a little challenge and only make those three to help any examines they see, but to not destroy any robot.
'Good luck Uraraka-chan !'
Meanwhile, the ninth One for All user keeps running through her battle center, trying to find robots to use her quirk
She touchs another robot, making it float along the others as she runs to find another, even if she can't use One for All, the training at Takoba did wonders to her stamina.
She touches another and waits until he is high enough and taps her fingers together "Release !"
More five robots destroyed, and Uraraka is surprised that she isn't even close to feel sick, maybe the training did more to her quirk than she thought ?
She sees an examine trapped under a rock, she quickly runs towards him and uses her quirk to lift it and helps him to stand up.
"T-thank you." She gives him a smile and nods before running to find more robots.
While the Jinchuuriki and the Ninth successor are fighting the robots, there was a dark room with many differents cameras, each one showing differents battle centers and differents examines.
"In this exam, the examines weren't told how many villains there is, nor where they are located, they need to find them themselves." An voice speaks as the people on the dark room looks at the examines in each battle center.
"Time is limited, meaning that mobility is a good factor here." The voice continues as one of the monitors shows the blue haired teen destroying a three pointer with a kick.
"The ability to localizate the enemies and to keep yourself calm in the face on danger, and nedless to say, the combat power itself is necessary." An screen shows Bakugou destroying two robots simultaneously.
While the teachers keeps looking at each monitor, Yagi, who is on his civilian form, focus on two monitors, showing both his successor and his future student, some could say that calling the green haired boy his student may be hasty, but with his skills, there is no doubt that he will pass.
That, and the fact that he isn't even taking the exam serious, Yagi shudders as he remembers what young Midoriya answer was when Yagi asked how many clones he could make.
'I don't know exactly... i remember that the highest number of clones that i managed to do was 30, but if i had to guess... maybe 100 or more ?' Yagi has no doubt that if young Midoriya wanted to, he could have summoned a clone for each robot, the fact that he just summoned three, and they aren't even chasing robots says how much he limited himself.
"Hey, that green haired kid... why he appears at four differents monitors ?" A voice on his left side speaks and Yagi had to supress an chuckle at the dumbfolded tone on Midnight voice.
"Hmmm, it's true, sometimes he appears helping an examine or destroying a robot, is it the same person or three differents person with a transformation quirk ?" Yagi looks at the one who spoke, principal Nezu looks at the four cameras with a curious glint on his eyes.
"Interesting, out of the four cameras, only one shows him attacking and chasing robots, the other three only focus on helping examines, even when one of them saves an examine from a attack, he doesn't try to destroy it, only jumps away." Nezu muses as the rest of the teachers starts to connect the dots.
"Are those... clones ?" Present Mic says, a bit stunned at that thought.
"It seems so, but if that's the case then how can he do all of this ?" Nezu gestures to Izuku, who destroyed another robot with Chidori.
But a man in the corner of the room narrows his eyes at the green haired jinchuuriki, he saw that the boy created some clones to use that blue ball of energy and didn't seemed like he was tired after that, not to mention that his clones seems to share the same physical strength as the original, there is a limit to those clones or he doesn't want to use more clones ?
Yagi let out a small chuckle at the teachers reaction, but Nezu saw it and narrowed his eyes at the number one hero.
"Do you know something, Yagi-san ?" When all the teachers turned to him, Yagi gulps.
"Um, young Midoriya quirk is... special, he has this energy inside of his body, he can manipulate it to create the blue ball of energy that he calls Rasegan or the lighting on his hands that he calls Chidori, he can also create clones and those clones can do the same thing." Nezu hums, what an unique quirk.
"Another quirk that can create clones, interesting." A man with black helmet, a cloak that covers almost his entire body and protestic legs says, this man is Ectoplasm, who bears the quirk called Clones, which do exactly as the name says.
"How many clones he can create ?" The man leaning on the wall, Eraserhead, speaks for the first time, if his clones can do the same attacks as the original then he is holding back, the question is how much.
"He said that the highest number of clones he created was 30." If that number stunned the teachers already, what would happen if they knew that young Midoriya could do much more ?
"30 clones... and they can use the same powers as the original... how is that possible ?" Midnight says with a stunned face, even though Ectoplasm could create 36 clones, they didn't shoot fire from their mouth or created lighting from their hands.
"But, unlike Ectoplasm, his clone are far less durable, an strong pressure of wind can be enough to dispel them." Yagi shivers at the thought of young Midoriya clones having the same durability as the original.
"How do you know so much about the little listener All Might ?" Present Mic ask the question that everyone was curious about, even Nezu.
"Well... i met him at the sludge villain incident and i saw the potential that he had, so i thought on training him." Yagi left out the part that young Midoriya had to decline and asked for him to train young Uraraka.
"Interesting, i wonder what else this young man has to show, want to do the honors Yagi-san ?" Nezu gestures to the button and Yagi nods.
'Good luck young Midoriya and young Uraraka.'
Uraraka pants as she tries to remember how much points she had.
'I remember that i lost the count at 25, and that was a few minutes ago... or was it a minute ago, i'm starting to lose my sense of time now...' Uraraka sighs before starting to run again, but there is something strange, she should be almost at her limit by now after using Zero Gravity for this long, but while she is feeling sick, Uraraka feels like she can keep going a little longer.
An tremor snaps the gravity user out of her thoughts as she tries to keep her balance, not to mention that it aggravated her sickness.
An shadow looms over her and when she turns to look at it, she pales.
An robot, bigger than any other robots that she fought appears and starts to cause destruction around, what...
"Its... It's the zero pointer !" An examine shouts and Uraraka pales, that is the least valuable robot ?!
Everyone starts to run away from it, and even Uraraka doesn't want to stay close to it, but a pained yelp stops her from running away and makes the Ninth user turn around, and what she sees makes her heart drop.
Trapped under debris was a short girl with long blond hair and a few equine features, not to mention two horns on her forehead that Uraraka is sure that it's her quirk.
And the worst part is, the zero pointer is going straight towards the girl, Uraraka clenches her fists as she runs towards the girl, trying to think on a plan.
'Make it float ? No, if i was fully rested then it could work, use my quirk on the debris and take the girl out ? No, the zero pointer would crush us before i could do it, what to do ?' Uraraka then widen her eyes as she remembers another option that she can take.
'As All Might said.' Uraraka takes a deep breath and prepares to take a jump, feeling an strange yet strong energy coursing through her legs.
'Clench your butt checks and yell from the deep of your heart.' Uraraka jumps towards the zero pointer head and channels the same energy to her right arm.
"SMAAASH !" Uraraka grins as she sees the result of her attack, but that grin was quickly replaced by an expression of pain.
When she tries to move her arm and legs she came up to a shocking conclusion.
"They broke ?!" Uraraka shout in surprise before starting to fall towards the ground.
'This was the backslash that he warned me about ?!' Uraraka takes a deep breath to try and calm herself down, she only needs to use her quirk on herself.
She touches her chest and sighs in relief, just a little more and she would have broken a lot more than just her arms and legs.
She heard the signal of the exam ending and let out a sigh of relief, she doesn't know if it will be enough for her to pass, but she hopes that it will be.
When she opened her eyes she saw an short old lady wearing an doctor suit, and that was the last thing she saw before passing out.
Fire style: Fireball Jutsu !
Izuku nods as he saw the fire jutsu do the work and destroy the 2 pointer, he quickly starts to run after more robots, he lost both the track of the time and how many points he had, but he thinks that he got a good amount.
And then, the ground trembles as Izuku channels chakra to his feet to not lose the balance, he feels a shadow looming over him and when he turns to look at it, he widen his eyes a little.
"That's the 0 pointer ? I guess they really had gone plus ultra at this." Izuku mutters, he saw that everyone else is running away from it, guess he should do the same.
"(Hey, why don't you test that jutsu on it ?)" Izuku was ready to refuse Kurama suggestion, but then he start to think that it wouldn't be a bad idea. An opponent that isn't alive and everyone is running from it, perfect !
"Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu !" He creates thirtheen clones and nods at them. Ten copies jumps away to check if there was someone close or behind the robot while two of them worked with the original to create the Wind Style: Rasengan.
When the last clone sees that the original created the Rasengan, he created the Chidori and gestured towards the 0 pointer who was coming closer.
The two clones who created the Rasengan dispels as Izuku extends the Rasengan to the clone, who fused it with the Chidori, and Izuku could instantly feel the power and energy coming from the fusion.
Izuku and the clone quickly runs towards the gigant, when close enough they jumped towards the head, he only hopes that his clones managed to take away any examine away from the 0 pointer.
"Wind-Lighting style: Hurricane Lightning !
Upon impact with the metallic head of the zero pointer, a big explosion was created of it. Izuku can feel and see how strong and deadly this jutsu is, he wonders if the Rasenshuriken is stronger than the Hurricane Lightning.
Thanks to being in the air, Izuku didn't have a surface to attach himself with his chakra, meaning that was knocked back due to the recoil of the jutsu, but thankfully one of his clones caught him in the mid air.
Izuku looks at the result of his attack and his jaw drops at the result.
The head itself that received the impact of the jutsu was completely destroyed, even a part of the chest and the arms were destroyed, Izuku doubts that the Great Rasengan wouldn't be able to cause that much damage.
The teachers were speechless, even All Might. He knew about the Rasengan and Chidori, but he never expected for young Midoriya to fuse them together, not to mention the power behind the fusion.
"Well then, what an interesting young man, isn't he ?" Nezu says while chuckling at the stunned faces of the teachers.
"Well then, i hope you like your future student, Aizawa-san !" Nezu continues with a light tone as said man sighs, why didn't he expected that from the rat ?
Izuku impatiently taps his foot on the ground as he waits for Uraraka to leave.
It has been a few minutes after he left the exam building, and judging that there is no one around it means that he is the only examine around.
Izuku wonders what happened at Uraraka battle center. Was she wounded by the robots ? Did she managed to use the One for All ?
Izuku snaps out of his thoughts when he sees the familiar brown hair of Uraraka, he quickly runs up to her, not seeing her bandaged arm.
"Uraraka-chan are you okay ? Why did you took this long to leave ? And what happened to your arm ?!" Uraraka sheepishly laughs at Izuku shout when he saw her arm.
"Well... i found out the backslash of One for All." Izuku ignores that and quickly uses his healing jutsu on her bandaged arm, even though he isn't on the level to heal broken limbs, at least it will be faster for her to recover.
"There, i can't heal it completely, but at least it will take less time to recover." Izuku then gives Uraraka a glare that makes the gravity girl flinch.
"Now then... can you explain to me how and why did you break your arm ?" Uraraka starts to sweat under the gaze of those slit eyes.
She gulps before speaking "Ummm, it was for a good cause ?" The jinchuuriki raises an eyebrow at that.
"And what was the good cause ?"
"W-well, someone was trapped under a rock and the zero pointer was going to crush her, so i panicked and tried to come with a solution until i remembered One for All !" Izuku sighs and shakes his head, he can't blame her for that, he would do the same.
"Ok, i guess it was a good reason... but promise me that you won't use the quirk again until we find a way for you to not break your bones anymore." Uraraka nods as she extends her fingers.
"Pinky promise !" Izuku chuckles at their "hand seal", after he told Uraraka about how he uses his hand signs to mold his chakra and create the jutsus, she decided to make the pink promise gesture as their seal together.
Nedless to say, Izuku blushed a lot when she suggested that.
Izuku joins his pink finger together with hers "Pink promise."
The duo then starts to make their way towards the station. Tired, but full of hopes towards their results.

Me: going to give Uraraka the One for All and take away the drawback of her lifespan being cut short.

Joke aside, about Uraraka receiving One for All, i won't lie, i decided to remove the consequence of One for All. At first i didn't get it why change something important like that, but now i understand why, if we follow the rule that if someone with a quirk will have their lifespan cut short it, will either result in Izuku receiving the quirk (Which let's be honest, i'm already having trouble to MAKE him not too overpowered without giving him one of the strongests quirks of the entire bnha.) Melissa receiving the quirk or no one receiving the quirk, which i doubt that All Might would let the quirk die with him, sorry for those that doesn't like this but i don't want to make all my fics with Melissa receiving One for All and i don't want to let the quirk stay with All Might and don't have the predecessors in the story.
And yes, the Wind-Lighting style: Hurricane Lightning is the same jutsu from the Naruto ultimante ninja storm 4 where Naruto and Sasuke combines their Chidori and wind style Rasengan in the ultimate combination jutsu, i think that jutsu is very cool and very powerful (Can't say if it's stronger than Rasenshuriken, but it's really powerful.)
And yes, i gave Izuku the Chidori Nagashi, because i like the chidori variations that Sasuke created (But don't expect for him to learn jutsus like Kirin, i doubt that i will give him something like that.)
