Chapter 12
Optimus is wrapping Arcee's leg. He kisses her, making her feel better. She smiles at him. He sits next to her. Bee is in between them. Megatron is going as fast as he can to the land. He feels something hit the boat. The others hang on tight, as they feel another hit. Megatron stops the boat, wondering what is hitting it. He runs to the edge, and he looks at the water. Prime goes the same along with Arcee. The boat gets hit again. Megatron eyes goes wide, he sees a shark. He shakes his head. He hears some static. He grabs a walkie talkie. He forgot all about the walkie talkie.
"Now so fast!' Bulk yells "You are not getting away that easy!'
"Bulk is still alive!" Tron yells.
"My shark, a mechanical shark, big. Luckily not as big as the megalodon.' Bulk says "With my last breathe, i will kill Optimus!" Bulk end goes silent. The hotel explodes again, this time the roof breaking in half.
The shark bumps the boat. Bee falls over. "NOOO!"
Optimus tries to reach for him. He sees Bee go to the water.
"BEE!" Arcee cries. She runs to stand next to Prime. He jumps in, he swims to Bee. He grabs him, and swim to the boat. As he did the shark bumps into Prime and Bee. They get drag away from the boat. Megaton searches for something to hit the shark with. Arcee gets a paddle, and tries to hit it.
"The shark is made of metal...I don't think will hurt it"
"Well...we have to distract it" she cries "My boys are out there'
Optimus is trying his best to swim. Megatron finds a flare gun on the bag. He shoots it, making the shark go after the light.
"Come on PRIME!" he yells. Optimus swims as fast as he can with Bee. He sees the shark swimming towards them with full force. Optimus gets to the boat, the shark is inches away with the jaws open. Optimus throws Bee out of the water, Arcee catches him. As he did, the shark catches his arm and drags him down the ocean.
"OPTIMUUSSS!' She cries as she reaches for him. Megatron runs to the edge, he is trying to find them. He looks around, to find a weapon. He sees a knife.
"I hope this work" Megatron jumps to the water. He swims down, he sees the blood, he swims further. He sees Optimus, punching the shark in the eye. it doesn't budge, it's made of metal. This shark, was the one that attack the boats on the first night. Then ever since then, it's been attacking anyone, who tries to escape on water. Megatron reaches for the sharks fin. He swims to where the eye is. He stabs it, He twist the knife, taking off the eye. He sees it blinking. He looks inside to see wires. He cuts them. The shark stops working, and sink down. Optimus jerks off. Megatron grabs him, and swims them up to the top. He gasp for air along with Optimus. He swims to the boat. Arcee goes to help Prime up. Bee does the same. His eyes widen. He stares blankly. Optimus is on the ground, breathing, panting, he is exhausted. Megatron gets on, he tries to help Prime, but he freezes too. He stares at Optimus.
"Optimus" Arcee cries "You okay...baby...talk to me..."
She taps his shoulder but she stops cold. She is staring, her eyes filling with tears. He yells in pain again. He is yelling in terror, screeching. He tries to breathe.
"Optimus...your...your...arm" she whispers
Optimus cries out in pain as he tries to move it. He goes to the side but falls face first. Megatron helps him up. Megatron stares at his left arm, there is nothing there. HIs arm is gone. The shark bit it clean off. Megatron goes to find something to wrap it. He needs to stop the bleeding. He sees clothes, hanging around. He rips them apart. He runs to Arcee, she is crying in tears.
"Arcee...help me. We have to make it stop!" he says "He is losing a lot of blood"
She snaps out of it. She goes to help. Megatron starts on the wound, and he wraps it around. He goes to the shoulder. He is wrapping Prime all around his shoulder, and top chest. Arcee holds it tight. A few seconds later, it's done. He looks at it, it's still staining in red. Prime is staring at the ground. Arcee kneels in front of him. She turns to Megatron "Hurry! Lets go!" She hold Optimus head in her hands. "Optimus. Hey...stay with me"
"Arcee..." he says "Are...are you okay?"
"Don't worry about me" she says "I'm okay"
"Good...where is Bee?"
"I'm here dad" Bee says. He kneels in front of him too
"Are..you...okay. Were you hu-hurt"
"No I'm fine dad." he says. He looks at his dad. His eyes are lidden, his face, it's going pale. Optimus feels like throwing up, feels like screaming, feels like fainting. He can collapse right here. He can't, he needs to get home. "Dad...how are you?"
"i'm I'm good" he chokes. He starts coughing out. He hangs in head.
"No Prime, stay awake. You have to stay awake" Arcee says. She lifts his head to look at her. "Optimus. Talk to me!"
"Arce...Arcee...it's...it's so loud' he starts.
"I know...but don't worry. It will be over" she says
"I...I love you" he says "I love you both."
"Optimus...We love you too"
"Bee...take..care of your mother for me" he says
"NO...don't talk like that please" she whispers
"Arcee...I will...I will always be..."
"Shhh" she places a finger on his lips. "Don't talk like that. Let's talk about what we will do when we go home"
"I'm going to take a long nap" Bee says "And then, we are going to see grandpa, and we are going to talk about the company. We are going to build it all up again"
Optimus smiles. He nods "Yes, we are...but I won't be able to race..." He looks to his left.
"Dad...I'm going to race for you" Bee says
Arcee nods in agreement. "We are going to be a great team"
"How about you mom...what will you do when we get home?" Bee says
"I do need a long nap" she laughs a little "But...I'm going to hug your dad so hard. I'm never going to let him go"
Bee laughs. Optimus chuckles. Megatron blinks a few times. He sees land. "Hey guys!...look"
Bee and Arcee run to him, they see it. The little town. "We did it. We made it out!' Arcee cheers. Megatron cheers with her. Bee turns to run to his dad. He kneels in front of him.
"Dad look...the town. We made it. Can you see it...can you-" Bee pauses. "Dad?"
Optimus head is hanging, staring at the floor, his eyes are close. He is not moving.
"Dad...hey come on. Mom said you have to stay awake" Bee says. He gently shakes him. He didn't move, flinch, or wince at all. Bee shakes him again "Come on dad. Knock it off. Mom said to stay awake! You can't...Dad. We made it. We are here. We made it out! Look, DAD! Look the town. It's over there" Bee cries as tears form. "Dad...please look! Look at me! Please!"
Arcee hears him. Her eyes widen, she runs to them. She shakes Optimus.
"Optimus! Wake up! Optimus...please" She caress his face. He is wearing a smile. She tries to find a pulse. She starts shaking. "Hey...please"
"Dad...wake up. We made it" cries Bee "Come on! DAD!"
Arcee shakes him again, nothing. She cries out. She lays him down, and starts CPR.
"DAD!"
Megatron parks in front of the ferry. He yells out for help. The workers turn around. He notices that the ferries are damage. All are broken, busted, sinken. Is this why they couldn't get to the hotel? Megatron keeps yelling for help. The workers go on to find help. He jumps to looks for someone who can help. He sees a cop. He runs to him. "Help us Please!" He calls for back-up. Megatron runs to the boat. Arcee is still attempting CPR. Megatron sighs, he needs to tell, needs to stop her. He hears sirens. He waves to them.
"Optimus please! Come back to me! I can't lose YOU!" she cries "Not like this! Please...baby...please!'
Bee is holding Prime's hand tight. He blinks his tears away. He looks at Arcee. Megatron is already, being taken care of by the medics. Medics run to the boat. One of them remove Arcee. She cries out, she reaches for Prime. They drag her away, telling her to let them handle it. She gets carried to a stretcher. She keeps crying, she can't lose him.
"DAD!" Bee is alway getting drag. The medics tend to the boy. He shakes, he is scared. "Dad...don't leave us"
Magnus runs in. He finds Arcee. She is hugging Bee tight. He gasp in terror. He kneels in front of them. "You guys are okay" he cries. He hugs them both. He gets a call, from the police. He is now running at the hospital, trying to find Prime's family. For a long time, he's been looking for them. All told him, that he is crazy. All said that Prime decide to take a long vacation. He needed it, they keep talling him. He didn't believe. Prime and him are close. Optimus will tell him everything. They tell each other everything. Optimus promise to call when he gets to the hotel. Prime did, and both talk for a long while. After that, nothing. Magnus is trying to contact the family. He blinks tears away. The whole three months are long to him. He keeps fighitng but no one believes him.
Flashback
Magnus dashes into the boss room. He slams his fist on the table. "Where did you send Prime!"
"What this...why are you yelling"he says
"Optimus...he'e been gone for two months" Magnus says
"He is on vacation. He probaly decided to take a longer vacation. He did deserve it"
"He would've told me. I can't contact him. I try his cell, but nothing. It's like it's offline"
"He doesn't want to be disturb" Boss says.
"No...no. It's not like him. I have to find out. I have to find him and his family" Magnus says. He grabs onto the boss "Tell me. Where did they go!"
The boss didn't say anything. He glares at Magnus.
"You need to calm down" boss says "Prime is fine. He is out there, having the time of his life"
"NO...something is wrong. I can feel it" Magnus says "Sentinal...tell me...I have to know so I can F-" He gets knock out. He goes to the floor. Sentinal gets up to drag him away. He calls the agents. He sighs as they drag Magnus away. Sentinal calls the hotel.
"Yes..."
"Wheeljack...is Prime dead yet?"
"No...we are waiting for him to go insane. We are going to make him suffer" Jack laughs
"Make it quick, his brother is starting to get suspisious." He hangs up. He turns to walk away.
Magnus is running around the building. He broke in, he knows something is up. He runs to the office. He bust the door. He stops when he sees Tv screens. He gasp, he sees so many people, all are fighiting in one tight hallway. All are trying to get that one box. Magnus looks around more, others are getting beaten, others are getting shot at. Magnus shakes his head, what is this? Why does he have all these? He goes to the desk to look for files. This is wrong. He needs to report this. He gets his phone, he starts recording. He goes to the computer. He is looking, trying to find Optimus. He stops at one screen. Optimus and Arcee are laying the couch. He looks beaten up. He sees that he is well, at least he is moving. He hears the open bust open.
The agents grabs him, slam him to the table. He growls as he stumbles back. Sentinal grabs his head, and slams it to the wall. He slides down. He can't fight, not alone. He gets drag away.
The days pass, and he tries again. This time the police are after him. They all think he is crazy. He yells at them, saying the Sentinal has hostages. They are getting killed in a hotel. That sounds crazy to them. Magnus gets drag away. He yells out.
It's been three months now. He is getting ready to attack Sentinal. He jumps to tackle him down.
"I know what you are doing?!" he yells "I want to know why!"
Magnus lifts the gun, aims it at just laughs. He punches Magnus. He drops the gun. They both start fighitng. He kicks Sentinal away from him. The boss rolls, and he gets up. He tackles Magnus through the wall, and he gets slam down. He lands in front of a lot of Tv screens. He looks along with Magnus. Sentinal is shaking his head.
"It can't be" he yells "How is prime alive!"
Magnus looks at the screen. He sees Optimus fighting a green mask. He is struggling to win. He sees Megatron helping him out. Arcee is fighting him as well. Magnus gets up.
"You want...Optimus dead!" Magnus yells "I won't let you"
Magnus charges to him. They both start fighting. He dodges, punches, kicks. He gets hit, here and there. Magnus spears Sentinal down. He punches him across the jaw. Sentinal is out cold. Magnus gets up and goes to the computer. He hacks the computer. He notices that the little town away from the hotel is struggling to get the boats ready. There is a sign saying that the ferry is close. That means the hotel is close. Magnus is wondering, if families are worried about those who did go. He keeps searching. The little town, is struggling to call. They are looking for them. They can't do nothing, there is no proof, the police can't invesgate. Magnus tries to tell them, but all they say is that the Prime is just on vacation. Sentinal must have lied to them. He tries calling the town, one of the restuarants. Nothing, the phones lines are dead over there. He feels a rope around his neck. He starts struggling to get set free. He cries out, as he tries to escape. He jumps back, hitting Sentinal right on the nose. He let's go, he stumbles back. Magnus kicks his ribs. He grabs his neck, and he slams him down.
"WHy do you want him dead!" Magnus yells
"Because...I hate him! He thinks he is the best. He is love by everyone. I hate that. I hate him. He gets more fame than me!" Sentinal takes a gun. Magnus jumps behind a couch. He brace for impact. He hears silent. He gets up and tries to take the gun. They are wreslting with the gun. Magnus brings it down, and then BANG. Magnus gasps, he steps back, dropping the gun. Sentinal, is holding his wound. He goes to his knees, and falls face first. He shakes his head, what has he done. He tries to breathe, it was an accident. He goes to call the police.
Magnus is staring at the screen. The police are investageting, wondering what they can do. They all drive to the little town. Magnus is sitting at a dinner. He is watching the cameras. He sees the boats disappear. That's how far the camera can go. Magnus see the family escape on the boat.

Magnus tells everything to Arcee. She did the same to him. The police are heading to the hotel. They are picking up after the crime. Arcee explains, the injury, but what got Magnus attention is that Optimus lost his left arm. Magnus sighs, "This can't be"
Arcee nods. Magnus sits down next to them. They all pray for Prime.
Welcome to the Great Race. Cybertron Raceway.!" Megatron annouces. He is on the stage, giving out the introduction. "You all know, we've through a lot. We lost many, but we gain much more. We fought to build this place, to build more racers. All are here to celebrate. I am here to introduce the man who build this. The man who brought to the top. You know him, always wining, always the best. Optimus Prime!"
The crows cheers, as Prime walk up to Megatron. He is waving to his fans. He goes to Megatron and hugs him. Megatron hands him the Mic, but Prime stops. He is looking to his left side. The sleeve empty. Optimus sighs as he grabs the mic and raise it up. He's been through a lot. He is still trying to figure out how to move with one arm. "Thank you!" He starts "We are here to start a new era, full with young new racers. This race will gives us a chance to see those talents. I am here to help them, to help them suceed, to help them fight. But here, it's one for all. Alright Racers, goodluck. Let the tournent begin!" The fireworks start, all cheer. Optimus walks back. Megatron grabs the Mic. He waves to his fans. Optimus looks to his family. They are watching him with a big smile. He goes to hug both of them.
"You did great" Bee cheers "Let the race begin!'
Optimus nods. "Well, I am the best"
Arcee hugs him tighter. She sees his scar, his right eye. She sighs as she hugs him tight. "A new beginning"
Magnus sneaks up and hugs Prime.
"Brother" he says. "Come on...let's watch the race"
Prime nods. He follows after Magnus. They all sit down. Optimus smiles, the new era, will start, and he will work hard. He looks at his family. Four years have pass since the hotel. He is getting better, Arcee as well. It was a long tough road. Arcee still get nightmares, Optimus stills wakes up in the middle of the night. Optimus hugs Arcee tight. As long as he is here with them, they will make a full recovery. He leans back to enjoy the race. He is now the new boss, but he call himself chief. He doesn't ever want to hear boss again. The chief, he now fully runs the company. He is in chrage of all. He can't wait to make the racing world grow.
He gets comfotable. He hears the sound go off. The cars rev up their engine and drive with full speed. Optimus smirks. He can't wait to see what is next.
