Authors Notes- And here I am back again with yet another chapter of Lean On Me. As you can gather by now I don't own Transformers. That belongs to Hasbro. I do however own the plot. Now that we got THAT out of the way here is Chapter Three. I hope you enjoy.
Chapter Three: Captured.
This was not how Arcee or Smokescreen had expected this mission to turn out. As pain lanced through her right leg. Sparks flying from the damaged leg every time she moved it. Not like Smokescreen was fairing much better, a massive hole was in his chestplate, energon leaking from between his fingers as they glared at the countless Vehicons that were advancing on them. This was supposed to be a routine mission, or so she had hoped. But it had seemed that they had stumbled across something the Decepticons found more interesting than a mere energon mine.
Arcee racked her mind for what it could be and...nothing. She couldn't recall as she struggled to her feet once more. Only to be knocked down by the nearest Vehicon. A chuckle escaping it as it turned to where Smokescreen lay. Arcee glared at them, until the group of Vehicons that surrounded them parted and Knock Out and Breakdown stood before the two Autobots.
"Well, well, what do we have here?" Knock Out asked, crouching down in front of Arcee. A cold smile on his white faceplate. "A couple of Autobots nosing about in Decepticon business?"
Arcee was silent as she continued to glare up at him as Breakdown spoke. "Or more like walked right into our trap." At that Arcee looked to Breakdown, a question shining her optics. "Lord Megatron will be pleased." Breakdown continued.
Arcee didn't like the sounds of that as she let out an enraged growl she took to swing at the nearest Decepticon, which happened to be Knock Out. Catching the red Decepticon off guard, and stumbling right into Breakdown. Recovering Knock Out glared at her before transforming his hand into the saw, and slashing at her. The blade sliding into Arcee's side, making her cry out as she dropped to the ground once more. Energon spilling from between her fingers as the Decepticons loomed over the Autobot captives as darkness overtook Arcee.
She didn't know what Megatron wanted with them, but whatever it was Arcee promised herself and to her fellow Autobots that whatever happened she would not give in.
Knock Out chuckled as Breakdown moved past him, tossing Arcee over his shoulder as the ground bridge opened upon behind them. Vehicons filing in as Knock Out walked up behind them while Breakdown grabbed the rookie before passing Knock Out once more. He hadn't asked Lord Megatron why had wanted Knock Out and Breakdown to retrieve whatever Autobots would come snooping when they set up this trap. And if he was being honest? Knock Out hoped that he would be able to pay the two-wheeler back for all the damage she had done to him during the countless times they had fought.
And Knock Out thought, as he followed Breakdown and the others through the ground bridge, he would enjoy all the things he would do to her when Megatron gave him the chance. He chuckled as he entered the Nemesis, the ground bridge closing in behind them. Just as the Autobots ground bridge opened just as theirs closed. And Bulkhead and Bumblebee stepped through.
*They're gone...* Bumblebee spoke, optics scanning the area, seeing the lifeless bodies of several Vehicons scattered about.
Energon staining the ground around them. But there was no sign of Arcee or Smokescreen. This did not sit well with Bulkhead. His optics narrowed as he looked around. Dread forming in the pit of his tank.
"Arcee! Smokescreen!" The wrecker shouted, his voice echoing off the walls of the canyon they were in. Nothing. They couldn't be...could they?
No! Bulkhead told himself, gritting his denta, he moved past Bumblebee, the scout watching as Bulkhead moved ahead of him, shouting for their missing comrades. And getting no response in return. Soon dread formed in the pit of Bumblebee' tank. *They're gone.* The scout said again, looking down at his feet.
"I know but where are they?" Bulkhead growled, glaring at Bumblebee.
Both Bumblebee and Bulkhead were silent, the two of them seeming to realize what had happened. Letting out a low growl Bulkhead Commed the base, his mood dark.
"Send a ground bridge, we have a situation." As those words left his mouth the ground bridge opened.
And both Bumblebee and Bulkhead stepped through. All the while hoping that both Arcee and Smokescreen were okay. Hang on guys. Bulkhead thought. We'll find you...
Authors Notes- And here concludes chapter three. Sorry it's short and boring. I just got off work and I'm tired and I know that's no excuse but maybe consider this chapter filler lol. And this is The Exhausted Writer signing off.
