26. Story Update & Final Chapter Upload Date

Morning to you all.

Just making this story update real quick. I know you've all been expecting an update, and I know I've been making a habit of these long hiatuses over the last few chapters. All I can offer as an excuse, besides my regular job and University studies, is that I recently lost about 85-90% of my savings I had invested in something I'm not going to go into here. Still, it was devastating, and I've been pretty...deflated about it and haven't done one bit of work on the chapter for probably a month.

However, I'm trying to pull myself up and get back into stuff once more, albeit with a much lighter wallet. So, I am confident that I will have the next and final chapter (not including an epilogue) up by mid to late January.

Thank you to everyone who reads and enjoys the story, especially to those who have been here since the beginning. Merry Christmas, everyone.
