Hello again guys and I'm back with Chapter 5 of "Meister of Your Future Chronicles. Thanks for the reviews and support for the Gundam 00 and Build Fighters crossover. After Chronicle learned that things have done differently than following the show the hard way, I did mention of having to focus on Celestial Being on how they reacted in aftermath of the HRL Chairman's public announcement and the three newly formed anti-Gundam squads of the Union, HRL and AEU too as well.
My responses to these Guest reviews that I can't normally reply on PM:
Guest: Thanks and yes, just because it happened in the episodes, it doesn't mean it will follow the same in real life. For Chronicle's case, he expected the same curbstomp Setsuna gave Sergei in their first encounter but instead he saw the opposite of Sergei's Tierien giving the Exia a beatdown after grabbing it by the face and pressed the advantage.
Glad you noticed about Coop/David Halevy from my other story, "Megas 00". Although the difference is that this Coop was never recruited by Celestial Being and works the AEU's mobile suit research and development as its chief engineer. As part of AEU's Gjallarhorn, yes, he will make his own mobile suit designs for them to fight Celestial Being and Chronicle.

Chapter 5
At the Conference Room of Ptolemaois
While the Celestial Being tactical mothership traverse around in space, the crew of the Ptolemy, who are dressed in their civilian attires, watch the HRL Chairman's press conference to the world where they witnessed Exia getting manhandled by the Tierien High Mobility despite the latter unable to actually damage the Gundam, and the formation of the Chobou Squadron. Not only that, the members of Celestial Being witnessed the creation of the Over Flags and Gjallarhorn respectively from the heads of the Union and AEU in their own announcements.
Lichtendahl Tsery nervously chuckled, "They sure don't like us."
Shrugging, Lasse Aeon stated. "It's the obvious reaction."
Adjusting his shades, Dr. Joyce B. Moreno commented, "You can't please everyone and we all know what we signed up for when we joined Celestial Being."
Christina Sierra noted, "Yeah, it looked like all three superpowers are really going to build up their military and strengthen themselves in response to what we are doing. Chobu, Over Flags and Gjallarhorn."
Entering the room after he finished docking the Virtue into the Ptolemy and clad in his own civilian wear, Tieria Erde simply stated. "If that's what they said they are going to be, then we will simply have to respond with more armed interventions."
"The elimination of war.", Feldt Grace said in a passive tone.
"Yes. For that is Celestial Being's true goal.", the Gundam Meister of Virtue agreed but then he frowned. "And speaking of which, have our Agents on Earth discovered who is the interloper that dare try insert himself into the Plan without permission from Veda? And where did they obtain the technology to create the bird-type mobile suit and its beam weaponry?"
It made the purple haired man grit his teeth at the inexcusable possibility that someone had apparently replicated Celestial Being technology somehow without the need of GN Particles despite the efforts to prevent that until the paramilitary group's first public debut to the world. And this newcomer had done it without tipping off Veda until his own debut.
Turning off the news from the screen, Sumeragi Lee Noriega brought up the copies of the screenshots, data analysis and energy scans of the Cornix Furia for the crew to see while contacting someone in Celestial Being to make their cue. "So far, Wang Liu Mei and our allies on the ground have yet to discover the identity of the unknown pilot and his location after he seemingly disappeared without trace. And his mobile suit that suddenly showed up on Ceylon was codenamed "The Crow" by the Union which the HRL and AEU had followed suit."
A skinny-looking older man with black hair and glasses in a white shirt and pants appeared on-screen after receiving a secure call on one of the uninhabited islands used as Celestial Being's secret bases, "Not only that, the unknown mobile suit is powered by nuclear energy. The same energy that was banned and deemed a relic of the past after Earth had switched to solar energy and the three superpowers preferred to use mobile suits as a new form of warfare."
"Ian Vashti.", Tieria acknowledged the chief engineer of Celestial Being.
"Nuclear!? But how? We saw The Crow use beam weapons like the Gundams when it came out of nowhere and joined in the armed intervention!", Christina said with a look of surprise, remembering how the menacing bird-like mobile suit ripping and tearing apart both warring factions' forces on Ceylon with morbid detail.
Ian stated with a frown, "I thought so too but thanks to the data and scans that I received from Veda and our guys on Earth, I found out that The Crow is clearly not powered by GN technology. If it were that easy to make beam weapons and to power a mobile suit that can give the Gundams a run for their money with nuclear power, Celestial Being wouldn't have gone through the trouble of making the GN Drives at Jupiter."
"But aren't the solar reactors semi-perpetual? They produce limitless energy with the GN Particles and can last way longer than The Crow's nuclear power! For all we know, that guy might need to recharge them at some point and those weapons he used when he appeared, they might eat up a lot of energy.", Lichty wondered, which Tieria nodded in agreement.
The tactical coordinator of the Ptolemy crew had a Eureka moment, "I think you're on to something, Lichty. Christina, contact Wang Liu Mei and the Agents. Inform them that The Crow is nuclear powered and to monitor every single nuclear plant and uranium mine around the globe even if they were decommissioned. If its pilot intend to go to any of them to refuel his mobile suit, they will alert us to his location."
The female hacker nodded in response as she went to the computers in the Conference Room and sending out orders to their allies on Earth.
Feldt asked. "If we somehow managed to find him, what do we next Miss Sumeragi?"
The Gundam Meister of Virtue stated with a stern face, "Simple, we eliminate The Crow and destroy his mobile suit with the Gundams. The interloper is not part of Celestial Being without Veda's approval. He must not interfere with Aeolia's Plan by any means necessary."
Sumeragi shook her head and explained as she brought up several screens featuring news reports about the five mobile suits of Celestial Being, "I am afraid we cannot do that, Tieria. The world already saw The Crow working together with the Gundams at Ceylon, already concluding it to be affiliated with us. If you attack him in the middle of another armed intervention should he show up again to participate uninvited, you will give the world an impression that there is an infighting among Celestial Being."
"Agreed. Since The Crow had possessed beam weaponry greater than the Gundams apparently, fighting him would make the brawl between Setsuna and the Wild Bear of Russia look like a kindergarten spat.", Ian grimly nodded as he reviewed the footage of the avian mobile suit displaying its several weapons that inflict maximum damage upon the Tieriens and Anfs on Ceylon.
The entire crew winced at the potential fallout that could further damage Celestial Being's credibility as the organization that seeks to eliminate conflict. Despite the success of Lockon Stratos driving away the hostile forces using Workloaders at South Africa and Allelujah Haptism bombing all of the narcotics fields at Taribia in their assigned missions respectively, the footage of Setsuna F. Seiei's near beatdown by Sergei Smirnov had been viral worldwide.
There is no point of using Veda to delete or edit that footage and the damage had already been done.
Even though Exia suffered no real damage from the savage beatdown by the Tierien High Mobility and managed to overpower it in the end, it gave the three superpowers an impression that there is a chance to stand up to Celestial Being in the face of the Gundams' might. Hence the official formation of the Chobu, Over Flags and Gjallarhorn that serve as the anti-Gundam task force units to fight Celestial Being.
Although there is some silver lining with the Real IRA ceasing its armed terrorist activities, disarming itself and the support from other countries toward Celestial Being which was just a temporary way to avoid being on the receiving end of its armed interventions. But they are overshadowed by the Exia getting itself manhandled by the Wild Bear of Russia.
Tieria begrudgingly agreed, "A fair assessment. Despite the setback from Setsuna's incompetence which almost got Exia captured and nearly compromised the GN Drive, we will press on with the missions and complete the stages of Aeolia Schenberg's Plan."
Everyone just simply roll with it since Tieria has a low opinion on those who fail to meet his high expectations and will not hesitate to scold them for it.
"But my point still stands. The Crow needs to be dealt with one way or another.", the purple haired man firmly said before taking out a touchscreen pad that contains the data package inside from his pocket.
He said with a frown, "Here is the data package Lockon received from The Crow's pilot. It was locked when I tried to access it even with Veda's help. It's most likely that he wants you to have it. Be sure it was not some sort of virus when you access it."
After receiving it for later analysis at her room, Sumeragi brought up images of the three notable individuals from the Union, Human Reform League and the AEU, remarking. "On the other hand, at least we know who will be dealing with when we face their anti-Gundam squads in the future armed interventions. Colonel Sergei Smirnov, the "Wild Bear of Russia" and veteran of the Solar Wars; Captain Graham Aker, the "Top Gun of the Union"; and finally Colonel Kati Mannequin, "The Iron Lady" of the AEU."
Glancing at the profile of the serious-faced woman with glasses made Sumeragi sad that they are on opposing sides once again albeit under different circumstances. She had a feeling that it won't be long until Kati recognized any of her plans once implemented by the Gundam Meisters on their next armed intervention as they used to be fellow tactical forecasters who had studied together at the international Union university in the past and worked alongside in the AEU military.
Before the infamous friendly fire incident between their forces due to bad information that took Emilio Ribisi's life.
Ian commented out loud with an annoyed sigh and incoming headache as he rubbed his forehead, "Since the AEU formed Gjallarhorn, no doubt that they're going to have Coop on their side."
Dr. Joyce nodded in agreement with his friend.
Sumeragi, Feldt, Christina, Lichty and Lasse looked at the chief engineer with look of confusion and curiosity at the mention of the man.
"Who is Coop?", Tieria wondered, speaking out for them on their behalf.
The black haired older man elaborated for him as he brought up the large blonde spiky haired man's profile, "His name is David Cooplowski Halevy. We call him that nickname back when we were getting our mobile suit engineering degree because he got cooped up in his room all day long creating new mobile weapons designs long before parting ways when Celestial Being recruited me and also Joyce Moreno."
The blonde doctor snarked with his eyes rolled underneath his shades, "It's amazing that he is still somehow alive despite his unhealthy eating habits and his clumsy attitude."
Chuckling, Ian smiled with fondness and amusement, "Back in the day when we were in the AEU military's mobile suit development division together, Coop had made so many crazy designs of his own the AEU outright rejected most of them. They claim that his designs are being way too impractical, inefficient and over the top when he proposed them."
The captain of the Ptolemaois asked him, "And judging from your history with David Halevy, he would certainly end up becoming pivotal to the AEU's Gjallarhorn with his own mobile suit designs in the future, is that right Ian?"
"Those greedy cheapskates would probably want Coop to modify their Enacts first. Setsuna did trash their newest model during Celestial Being's first public debut and humiliated them after all. But knowing Coop, he might have stayed instead of resigning out of protest. Just to rub it in their faces that he's vindicated and he gets to be allowed free reign on what he create the new types of AEU's mobile suits so long it gives them an advantage against the Gundams.", the black haired older man with glasses retorted.
"Then we will prove him wrong and turn his creations into scrap.", Tieria declared with a straight face, confident in the firepower of Virtue and also his fellow Gundam Meister's machines.
Ian rolled his eyes but relented, "Of course, I helped made the Third Generation Gundams and their arsenal after all. Perhaps, in another time, another world, I would have recommended Veda to invite Coop. He would love to be part of Celestial Being than the AEU."
Shaking her head, Sumeragi interjected, "We can't always get what we wanted. Right now, we shall prepare ourselves for the next mission for Celestial Being and act accordingly. Meeting adjourned."
With that, the members of the Ptolemy crew left the conference room and resumed their stations in order to prepare for the next armed intervention of Celestial Being.

At the HRL Joint Headquarters, Beijing, China
Hours later after the press conference that took the world by surprise that no one had seen it coming, Colonel Sergei Smirnov stood at attention in front of his superior who is sitting relaxed and comfortably on his chair of the meeting table as the man greeted. "Well, I say congratulations are in order for the leader of the newly formed Chobu Squadron."
"I believe that will be put on hold until a Gundam is captured as I vowed it in front of the press conference, Commander Kim Chung-hee.", the scarred man stated.
"No need to be so formal with me, Sergei. We are friends here.", Kim reassured before asking him seriously. "How was it? You traded blows with the Gundam and proved the world that they can be beaten. But I would like to hear your honest opinion on its capabilities."
Sergei obliged, "I'll do my best, sir... My personal opinion is that I don't believe there is a mobile suit in the entire world that can stand up to a Gundam in a fair fight. So because of that, I have to think outside of the box and decided to live up to my epithet I was known for."
Smiling with amusement, the HRL Commander said. "Yes you did, and it caused cracks on Celestial Being's seemingly invincible image as a result despite the Gundams' performance being that overwhelming. Although I won't be surprised if they bounce back from it and fight even harder."
"If they're that serious on eliminating war, then yes they will make a comeback.", the Wild Bear of Russia firmly stated.
"Then appointing you as the leader of Chobu was the right thing to do.", Commander Kim smiled before declaring. "Colonel Sergei Smirnov, as you vowed to the world as its witness, you are to acquire a Gundam before the Over Flags and Gjallarhorn do. The Crow too as well if possible as a bonus."
Straightening himself, Sergei complied. "Yes sir! Shall I know who shall be joining Chobu under my command?"
"While I will leave the selection of personnel to you, there are some soldiers I would like to entrust you with.", the Korean man revealed before turning to the door behind him. "Please come in and introduce yourselves."
The HRL soldier opened the door to allow entry of certain five individuals dressed in formal military uniforms with berets on their heads. After entering the meeting room, they stand at sharp attention and saluted as they introduced themselves one at the time to their superiors, Commander Kim and Colonel Sergei.
"I am Lieutenant Soma Peries, Super Soldier #1. Dispatched from the Super Human Institute Labs.", said a white haired 18 year old girl with gold eyes in her professional attitude.
A twelve year old boy with blonde hair and green eyes said in turn albeit reluctantly as he looked like he'd rather be not here in the first place, "I am Leonard Fiennes, Super Soldier #7, and this is my partner Delphine Bedelia. We are test pilots from the Next Generation Technology Development Laboratory."
"Sir!", a 31 year old woman with red hair and emerald eyes confirmed.
"I am Captain Sulu Suluzu of the Human Reform League's Ceylon Branch Front Line Troops.", said a young woman with long messy black hair and blue eyes as she had a bitter look on her face after Celestial Being made their armed intervention there.
The last one, whom Sergei clearly recognized, looked like he almost swallowed a spoiled lemon but pushed through it anyway. "I am Warrant Officer Andrei Smirnov, reporting for duty.", said the brown haired man with grey eyes.
Saluting back professionally at the five soldiers personally in front of him, the Wild Bear of Russia told them. "At ease and welcome to the Chobu Squadron."
"What do you think, Colonel? The higher ups believe that the two Super Soldiers from the Super Human Institute will be our trump cards against the Gundams. Alongside the NGTDL, I hear that they are also spearheading the development of the promising MSJ-07 under the head of Doctor Lalah Singh alongside upgrading the MSJ-06s so that your unit will have better chances against Celestial Being.", Commander Kim explained.
"I see. But about the Super Human Institute Labs. I thought it was-", the Russian man tried to comment on it.
The Korean superior officer revealed, "Apparently, they continued to carry it out in secret. Once in a while, they provide some of their satisfactory Super Soldiers from their tests, like Leonard Fiennes and Soma Peries here before us, in order for the higher ups to let the facility continue running."
Observing the difference between the 18 year old girl who stated that it was a great honor to meet him and the 12 year old boy who definitely had the look of not wanting to be here but had to obey orders anyway, Sergei sighed. "You are much too young for this."
"I know it made you uncomfortable, Colonel but it's all hands on deck against Celestial Being and these brilliant people here will prove vital for the Chobu Squadron's success of capturing the Gundams and The Crow.", Commander Kim stated with a serious face.
The mention of the bird-like mobile suit apparently set off Captain Sulu with her teeth grinding and fists clenching after remembering the loss of her unit by the talons of the fifth mobile suit of Celestial Being at Ceylon and she was the only survivor. To add salt to injury, one of the four Gundams later showed up to try finish the job before Colonel Sergei intervened. However she was calmed down by Delphine who placed her hand on the woman's shoulders and silently plead her from acting out.
On the other hand, Commander Kim dismissed all but Warrant Officer Andrei as they left the meeting room to acquaint themselves at the mess hall.
A brief pause ensured in the meeting room.
"Warrant Officer, do you know why I assigned you to be a part of the Chobu Squadron? You're allowed to speak freely and give me your honest opinion.", the HRL superior officer asked the son of the Wild Bear of Russia.
Despite being reassured, Andrei made his statement carefully while showing his true feelings about his assignment to the recently formed anti-Gundam unit. "Is it because you wished me to serve alongside my father? The man who got my mother killed during the Solar Wars despite he could have found another way to prevent her death."
"Captain Holly Smirnov was a soldier, Andrei. And soldiers fight to give their lives to protect the citizens of the Human Reform League from any threat and ensure that they can sleep safe and sound. Those who have joined the military for whatever reason knew the risks they would face in the line of duty yet carried on and fought until the end.", Commander Kim said with a stern face and a look of disappointment at the young man's petty motive.
The estranged son of Sergei bristled at being lectured but held his tongue from acting out of hand even if he was allowed to speak out.
"Tell me, Andrei Smirnov. Why did you join the military like your parents before you? Shouldn't you have gone for other occupation that doesn't involve them?", the Korean man pondered.
Obliging, the young man revealed. "No, I wanted to prove that I am better than my father and show him that his decision to leave mother to die was wrong. When I entered the military academy, I never needed his help or the connections that came with his reputation. Instead, I worked hard to rise within the ranks of the Human Reform League on my own."
The HRL Commander declared after hearing him out, "I see. I admire such passion and determination of yours. Your academic marks speak for themselves which is why I have you assigned to the Chobu Squadron among the best soldiers the HRL has to offer... However, you have yet to pass your final test, Warrant Officer. A test of character to be exact."
He made an ultimatum, "If you are able to rise above your prejudices and prove to me that you are indeed a professional soldier who serve to protect the people, then you could become greater than Colonel Sergei. You might even rightfully earn a promotion. After all, good soldiers follow orders."
"... Yes, sir.", Andrei obeyed with a salute albeit reluctantly.
Smiling, Commander Kim Chung-hee ordered. "Good, you're dismissed. Don't disappoint me, Warrant Officer Andrei."

At the MSWAD headquarters, Illinois, Union
A week has passed by as Professor Ralph Eifman revealed the fruits of his labor and research with Billy Katagiri to the Over Flags, which he revealed the jet black-colored Custom Flag modified for Captain Graham Aker in front of the members. "After I reduced the hydrogen fuel payload and lightweight armor materials, I reinforced the backpack and the joints, and applied an anti-beam coating to the unit's surface. For weaponry, I procured a new prototype rifle from the Iris Corporation."
"It's magnificent, professor!", the leader of the Over Flags complimented.
"But even with the Anti-G System activated, you will be feeling about 12 Gs when turning to full speed.", Billy warned his friend.
Smirking, Graham Aker stated. "That's exactly what I was hoping for."
Rolling her eyes, Verna Romero playfully commented. "Just make sure you don't throw up in your cockpit, Graham."
"So, this is the Captain's Flag!", said the dark-skinned young man with red dreadlocks with a baritone tone, which two leaders of the Over Flags, Professor Eifman and Billy turned their heads to see four new members in Union formal military uniforms without their hats showing themselves after arriving to the MSWAD headquarters.
Saluting as his fellow Flag Fighter pilots followed suit, the young man with glasses introduced. "Warrant Officer Howard Mason, Master Sergeant Daryl Dodge, First Sergeant Yuka Kouen and Second Lieutenant Joshua Edwards! We have been assigned to the Over Flags as you requested, sir."
"You came. Let me welcome you, Flag Fighters!", Graham saluted with a smile.
Sweetly smiling while cracking her knuckles, Verna greeted. "Hello there, Joshua, how are you lately? Did you miss your Knuckle Sandwich since the academy? Because I have prepared them for your arrival."
Joshua gulped with cold sweat as he tried to placate the daughter of the deceased Sleg Sletcher whose name he made a very poor decision to use against Graham in the past with his hands raised to protect himself. "Now, now. No need for such violence, First Lieutenant. We are on the same team to take down Celestial Being, right?"
"I agree that we are on the same team. But... a team requires the synergy between the members and a leader and his right hand in order to become a force to be reckoned with. And if a member tried to act insubordinate and ruin it, the team falls apart and it will be his fault. I expect that you will do your part as member of the Over Flags, am I clear Second Lieutenant?", the green-haired young woman stated with a stern face.
"Yes, ma'am.", the blonde man complied with a quivering tone and shaking body.
"Hah! Whipped!", the redhead Japanese women teased with an imitation of a whipping crack sound which made her fellow Flag Fighters chuckle at Joshua's expense.
"Hey, Yuka! How are you?", Verna hugged her friend.
"Doing great! I never thought I'd be invited to be here. Flying all the way from Japan's Union base with my Flag and spooking the hell out of Joshua in-flight.", Yuka said as she returned the hug.
"Hey!", Joshua yelled indignantly with Howard, Daryl Dodge, Graham and Billy chuckle a bit more.
Professor Ralph Eifman called out to the Over Flag members with a polite cough, "Ahem. If you are done, shall I introduce the First Lieutenant's Flag?"
"Of course, professor.", Graham nodded.
Showing them the bright red-colored Flag modified for First Lieutenant Verna Romero that holds the stolen Butterfly Buster rifle and is standing next with Captain Graham's Flag, the esteemed professor explained. "I gave this Flag some similar modifications like that of the Captain's. However, the difference is that it still retains the anti-G limiter and it now carries a miniaturized nuclear fusion core as its power source that would make the Lieutenant's Flag to go as fast as the Captain or theoretically 3 times faster."
He finished, "In addition, it will allow the beam rifle of The Crow, that these two managed to acquire in first encounter, to be used through a long connection cable on the left hand."
"Thanks professor!", Verna happily said.
"WHAT?!", the four newcomers of the Over Flags shouted in surprise after hearing the word nuclear.
To bring them up to speed, Billy explained as he showed them the touchscreen pad containing the result of the week-long research. "Long story short, The Crow's power source is some special kind of nuclear energy that somehow allowed it to fire beam weaponry like that of the Gundams. The professor managed to discover that it is powered by a rare isotope of helium known as "Helium-3", which is, in layman's terms, 2 protons and 1 neutron in the nucleus."
Professor Ralph Eifman added as he showed them more of his discovery, "That is correct. From my analysis, Helium-3 atom is fused with a deuterium atom or heavy hydrogen to form the stable Helium-4 and a single proton. Since the proton is positively charged, it can easily be trapped within a magnetic field. Not only that, we discovered that there was zero neutron radiation within the nuclear reactor, deeming it clean."
Whistling at the contents of the pad, Daryl Dodge commented. "Sweet Christmas, I guess it might be a bit too late for nuclear energy to be relevant again if it was able to create a clean nuclear reactor like that before its ban and later the introduction of the Orbital Elevators."
Yuka Koeun interjected, "That is true. Nuclear energy was a relic of the past alongside fossil fuels yet they still exist in the present day despite the widespread use of solar energy."
"But there is a catch, isn't it Professor Eifman? It sounded too good to be true.", Howard Mason inquired.
"Indeed, there is a main practical problem with this reaction. Because it turns out that Helium-3 is extremely rare as there are few deposits on Earth, mainly found in uranium mines. Fortunately, there are currently operating mines in six US states. Wyoming, New Mexico and Utah make up the bulk of the uranium mining sector, while Arizona, Nebraska and Texas also contribute to annual production.", the elderly professor stated.
Joshua looking hyped and intrigued, "That means the Over Flags could have the upper hand against Celestial Being! We'd be pretty unstoppable if the Flags got beam weapons powered by nuclear energy!"
Billy stated, "It is theoretical until we're sure that it can stand up to the Gundams. First Lieutenant Verna volunteered to have her Flag modified to be nuclear powered like that of The Crow and since she stole his beam rifle, she has the honor to use it in battle. Alongside the prototype rifle from the Iris Corporation that the professor and I modified it to fire beam attacks."
The Technical Adviser showed the Over Flag members the recorded footage of the said rifle being outfitted to the nuclear fusion core with the long cable and it fired the pink beam blast that easily destroyed the test dummy mobile suit in form of an Anf acquired by the Union inside the MSWAD warehouse. That impressed the Flag Fighters of the potential of their Flags having beam weaponry after seeing the aftermath.
"And if it is successful along with new combat data obtained from future encounters with Celestial Being, these two Custom Flags will serve as a template to create a new type of Flag that embodies the best of both worlds for the rest of the squad.", Professor Eifman declared.
"Sounds promising professor and right now we have to wait until the Gundams return.", Graham agreed.
Suddenly, Billy's pad received a notification and it revealed to major news report regarding Taribia when he checked on it. "I don't think you're gonna have to wait that long.", he said with a small look of surprise.

At the Ramstein Air Base, Germany, AEU
"Alright, Captain Grad. Your Enact is done."
David Halevy said as he dusted his hands off from working on one of the AEU's newest models in the base's large mobile suit facility despite his misgivings toward it for being an imitation of the Flag before climbing down. Klaus Grad overlooked his Custom Enact that has undergone complete overhaul to prepare it for fighting the Gundams and also The Crow under the banner of AEU's Gjallarhorn.
The captain nodded in approval, "Thank you. So what exactly have you done to it?"
The large man explained, "As I did my custom work for a week, this Custom Enact has been given anti-beam coating so that it won't get easily blown to smithereens by the beam weapons. I added high performance plasma engines to give it more thrust and speed while the frame is reinforced to handle it with ease. But the biggest change is your primary weapons."
He indicated to the heavy looking linear rifle hanging on the wall with two barrels, one slightly longer than the other, and a half-barrel laser cannon next to Klaus' Custom Enact. Coop stated dramatically, "Behold, the 155mm linear sniper rifle! You can nail the target from half-way across the planet with this bad boy and in addition to that, I also modified it to include a regular 120mm linear rifle underneath it as well."
"And the other one?", Klaus asked.
"That laser cannon? I figured that we fight fire with fire. So I decided to use the parts of the linear rifle and the warships' cannons and cobble them all together.", the Chief Engineer replied.
"What's it powered by?", Klaus wondered.
"A repulsor generator.", Coop casually said.
The captain widened his eyes with interest after hearing that, "I see. What can it do?"
Approaching to his large set of computers with flat screen display, David Halevy elaborated. "A repulsor is a form in which a high density muon beam can be projected as a powerful blast of concussive energy called repulsor blasts. I figured that it can be useful to take down the Gundams without damaging them too much. So I can study them relatively intact."
He showed Klaus the results in form of a recorded footage with the laser cannon being attached with a repulsor generator through a long cable which it then fired a powerful blast upon the unused Anf acquired by the AEU, knocking it back hard and crashed on the ground with minimal damage.
"Impressive.", Klaus said.
"Nice, isn't it? Although, I need more combat data in order to improve your Enact along with the rest of the squad.", the large spiky blonde man suggested.
Colonel Kati Mannequin called out the two men from behind as she approached them and notice the results of the chief engineer's work on the Enacts, "And you will get your data when Celestial Being makes a move and we Gjallarhorn take action against them."
Next to her is Patrick Colasour and it looks like he got both red bruises to the face with a blush. It didn't take a genius for Coop and Klaus to realize that the so-called ace of the AEU had fallen in love with The Iron Lady in their first meeting. And it is freaking hilarious in their honest opinion.
Keeping his composure from outright laughing, Coop hmphed. "I see your point. Lieutenant Patrick, I had your Enact customized just like Captain Klaus' and you get to wield the laser cannon right here."
He pointed to Patrick's Enact having the same treatment of being upgraded like Klaus'. It was the same Enact that got dismantled by Exia in Celestial Being's public debut and now its remains have been recovered and repaired back to its former glory.
"Sweet! You better watch out Gundams! Because Patrick Colasour is gonna bring you down and take you as a present for the Colonel!", the love-smitten ace of the AEU hammily declared.
Coop and Klaus stared at a mildly embarrassed Kati who had a twitchy eye. "In my honest opinion, I sometimes wished I slapped that general for jinxing it. But... if it means motivating him to do better than act like a hotheaded idiot, I will make good use of it. Anyways, I brought in the new recruits to be part of the mobile suit teams, Captain Klaus.", she said before showing the two men and one woman in their AEU military uniforms with berets.
"First Lieutenant Barack Zinin, reporting for duty.", said a large dark-skinned man with a sharp crew cut brown hair.
"Warrant Officer Fraw Heisenberg, reporting for duty.", said a young woman with brown hair that has the 20s bob haircut.
"Senior Master Sergeant Brad Bradley, reporting for duty.", introduced the tall man with short red hair and brown eyes as he made a sharp salute.
Saluting in turn, Klaus nodded. "Welcome to Gjallarhorn. I am Captain Klaus Grad and I will be leading the mobile suit team. In the meantime, your Enacts will be customized by our Chief Engineer here."
However, the large man had other ideas as he interjected with a smirk. "Hohohoho! On the contrary, their timing is perfect. Because they're going to pilot this prototypes I've been working on even before the Celestial Being showed up. Come on, I'll show you."
The members of Gjallarhorn are confused but decided to follow his lead where he had the large doors open and presented to them three different mobile suits that certainly stand out compared to the Hellions and the Enacts in the AEU military.
One is made of a digitigrade design with a hunched-like posture and its head design that generally resemble part-amphibian, part-cephalopod appearance for some reason, back shoulder-mounted missile tube launchers and a backpack with three rocket thrusters, and giant miniguns on the right arm while the left arm has three-clawed hands.
The other looks similar like the first one except it has six rocket thrusters instead of feet and its left hand has a large arm cannon.
And finally, the last looked like a machine with a plantigrade design that has arachnid face on the chestplate and appendages on the back. Although the head is still the same like the previous two.
All three of Coop's creations share the same red monoeye like the Hellion and Enact. And each of them are colored military green, metallic grey, brown and yellow stripes.
"Whoa! What the heck is that?!", Patrick asked with a surprised look on his face.
"These are my mobile suit designs, Second Lieutenant. Pretty cool huh?", Coop proudly announced with big happy smile on his face.
Barack Zinin commented with doubt upon looking at them, "I see. So you want us to pilot these machines instead of the Enacts?"
The chief engineer stated as he waved his hand at the fruits of his work, "Of course! In order to capture the Gundams, these three will prove vital for Gjallarhorn's success! I know they will."
Fraw Heinsenberg grimaced at the designs, "But they look bulky, impractical and crude to be honest. Not even the Fantons back from the Solar Wars are this bad."
Brad Bradley nodded with a frown, "Agreed, they look like you made them from a box of scraps at a junkyard."
"Like I said, they're prototypes. Once I received combat data of their performance from the battlefield, they will be upgraded and improved over time. Don't worry, I have outfitted your new mobile suits with enough firepower that can take over a small nation or even destroy them.", Coop confidently brushed off.
"What?!", they said with a look of surprise and alarm.
Kati stepped in and stated, "Regardless, despite his eccentricity, Chief Engineer David Halevy is central on ensuring that our forces will be bolstered with his modifications and machines he made. In order to stand up to the Gundams and capture or destroy them if possible. You three will pilot them, am I clear?"
The three simply saluted in compliance. "Yes, Colonel!"
Patrick wondered out loud, "Say, do you have a name for those 3 machines?"
Just when Coop is about to give a name for his first three original mobile suits he created, the AEU aide called out to the members of Gjallarhorn, "Colonel Mannequin! I just received word from the higher ups! Something's happened at Taribia!"

Somewhere underneath the southern Atlantic ocean
Watching the global news about Taribia officially declaring its secession from the Union and knowing that Celestial Being is about to make their major armed intervention with three Gundams upon the South American country, Chronicle Bringer decided to participate once more and had his Cornix Furia prepared for launch from the Dark Veil's hangar.
He is already in his pilot suit with a helmet by his side.
"Alright, the Over Flags are going to be at Taribia. Graham have already got his Flag customized. Same with Verna's Flag as well. Hopefully she has the Butterfly Buster with her.", the man said to himself as he entered the cockpit of his avian mobile suit in its transformed bird appearance and put his helmet on.
"So I can reclaim it.", he finished, tightening his grip on the cockpit's controls.
As the doors of Dark Veil's hangar opened with sea water flooding inside the sealed chambers, Chronicle activated the Cornix Furia's Minovsky Drive and its Wings of Light before flying out of his mothership currently submerged under the Atlantic Ocean. The crow-type machine emerged dramatically from the sea, scaring off any flock of birds and fish to get out of its way in the process.
While flying, Chronicle recalled that he had spent a week organizing everything inside the Dark Veil after he bought groceries in Tokyo, Japan and also recovering from the surprise he had upon learning the early formation of the Chobu and Over Flags and the reveal of AEU's Gjallarhorn. During that time, he filled the kitchen full of food and supplies, and placed the remainder into the cold storage, ensuring they will be preserved.
While Quasi-Veda kept him updated of the current news and events of the world.
Now, it is time to get back into the action.
Arriving nearby Taribia where he can see the Union forces approaching the South American nation by the sea and air and the three Gundams will soon be showing up from different directions through his mobile suit's visuals, the former Gunpla Mafia member readied himself and wait for the right moment for Setsuna F. Seiei to fire the first shot.
Then he spoke. "It's showtime."
Author's Note: Okay, the fifth chapter of "Meister of Your Future Chronicles" is done and I hope you like it. As the three Gundams are preparing themselves for their armed intervention at Taribia, Chronicle Bringer has decided to take part as well and will encounter the Over Flags that are being deployed to South America.
As for the new members of Chobu, Leonard Fiennes and Delphine Bedelia are from Gundam 00P where they used to be part of the HRL's Next Generation Technology Development Laboratory and Gundam 00I 2314 where they are members of Celestial Being as part of the reformed Fereshte under codenames of Leo Sieg and Dell Erda respectively. I checked that aside from the long timeskip in 2314, there isn't much info of what the duo were doing after the events of 00P, so I decided to make good use of them.
While Sulu Suluzu is from Gundam 00I where she was first introduced as a Tierien pilot of Katharon and is one of the Innovades who are integrated to live in human society in order to monitor and understand humanity yet unaware of their true nature. Since there isn't much history about her prior to the events of 00I, she will be a member of the HRL military in this story
