I'd like to apologize for the delay, this fight just proved WAY too difficult to resolve and I contemplated on who would win the final battle. This is one of those few matches I've done that I had to reach out and get other's opinions on their chosen winner. The appearance of Woods is based off of the Vietnam missions in Black Ops and Rambo will be based on his appearance in both the second and third films.

(A scruffy, rough looking Caucasian man with a rag worn on his head like a headband and Vietnam era uniform points his assault rifle at the screen.)
Frank Woods: The former U.S. Marine turned SOG operative who fought the Soviet War Machine around the world and came out a hero.
(Woods is seen alongside a fellow operator infiltrating a Soviet cosmodrone. He sneaks up on an unsuspecting Soviet Spetsnaz soldier and stabs him through the skull with his karambit.)
vs.
(Another man of mixed Caucasian and Native American hertitage with longer hair and a red headband takes his bow and strings an arrow before aiming at the screen.)
John Rambo: The highly lethal special forces operative who fought for a nation whose citizens failed to appreciate its soldiers.
(Rambo is seen hiding among the jungle brush in Vietnam as unsuspecting Soviet Spetsnaz prowl the ground below. He takes his bow and fires an arrow killing a Russian.)
WHO IS DEADLIEST?!
To find out, we've assembled a team of world class fighters to test history's most lethal weapons. Using 21st century science, we'll see what happens when two warriors go toe to toe.
No rules. No safety. No mercy. It's a duel to the death to decide who is...THE DEADLIEST WARRIOR!
Here in our elite fight club we have gathered doctors, medical scientists and weapons experts to test out the lethal arsenals wielded by each of our combatants to determine who would win a fight between two deadly American cold war operatives who have nothing to lose.
Frank Woods
Date of Birth: March 20, 1930
Age: 38
Appearing from: Call of Duty: Black Ops
Height: 6'
Weight: 190 lbs
John Rambo
Date of Birth: July 6, 1947
Age: 41
Appearing from: Rambo III
Height: 5'10''
Weight: 195 lbs.
''Today is a battle between two hardened veterans from the Cold war. On one end you have Frank Woods, the deadly and skilled Marine turned SOG operator going up against Green Beret John Rambo. It's gonna be a really good battle where neither men will back down.'' DeadAliveManiac started off.
''Hell yeah, Frank Woods is one of the main protagonists from Call of Duty: Black Ops and Black Ops II and ended up being a favorite among COD fans whereas Rambo is a legendary character within military action movies. Both men are hard, tough and won't stop until their missions are completed.'' Zivon96 said in agreement.
''Two men who served in several conflicts in their lives and that experience is definitely gonna make this a tough battle to decide and we'll be seeing similar weapons considering the wars they've participated in.'' MKDemigodZ-Warrior added.
''Frank Woods was continuously fighting in battles well into his late 50s and it wouldn't be until Raul Menendez crippled him for life by shooting his knee caps with a shotgun at point blank range while Rambo is well in his 70s and still getting into fights. These men have fought multiple types of enemies from the North Vietnamese army, Soviet Spetsnaz and in Rambo's case, a Mexican drug cartel! These are two deadly men who served in the U.S. military and their combat record as well as their nothing to lose mentality definitely makes this one of the closest matches so far. I can't so let's get the tests started!" PFC Rice Man concluded.
Frank Woods was born in 1930 and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He served in the United States Marine Corps, during which he had much combat experience fighting in the Korean War. This gained him a reputation that led the CIA to recruit him for their Special Activities Division. However, he would come into contact with a Nicaraguan weapons dealer named Raul Menendez during a mission in Angola in 1986 where he would watch his men be tortured and killed in front of him and he was locked away to die of dehydration and starvation.
''This man was as badass as you can get, hell he's the very definition of the word you look it up on the internet he shows up. Though he was locked up and suffered a lot at the hands of Menendez, that affected him to the point where he made it his goal to see Menendez's death at his own hands. Rambo has a tough opponent who just might be able to kill him.'' Rice Man explained.
To complete his mission, Frank Woods defended the Free World with the most high quality weapons to help carry out his black operations.
Melee: Karambit
Short Range: ASP Pistol
Mid-Range: CAR-15 Commando
Long Range: Stoner 63
Special: Crossbow
However, instead of battling the Soviet war machine or NVA infantry, the Marine Master Sergeant will meet a fellow American operative with his own agenda.
John Rambo is the main protagonist of the Rambo film series and David Morell's novel First Blood. A former Vietnam veteran and highly skilled Green Beret, Rambo returned from the war as a decorated, but disturbed hero. He is filled with self-loathing and hates killing, but is willing to use his skills to protect those close to him. He has witnessed all of his friends die, was not loved as a child, faced unbearable terrors in Vietnam, returned to a country that rejected him, then was seduced back into combat where he killed hundreds more people before finally being left alone and miserable, unable to forgive himself for what he has done.
''He wasted his life fighting for something he believed in and he wishes his country would give more support to its soldiers. Despite being an emotional and broken man he can be incredibly dangerous if you posed a threat to his loved ones and that's what makes him the perfect opponent for Woods.'' Rice Man explained.
To bring out the accomplishment of his missions, Rambo came armed with an arsenal that permitted his mastery of unconventional warfare.
Melee: Bowie Knife
Short Range: Colt M1911A1
Mid-Range: AKM
Long Range: M60 Machine Gun
Special: Compound Bow
These two cold war operatives were experts in melee combat and brought with them two deadly combat knives to get the job done. For Woods he used the deadly curved karambit and for Rambo he utilized the serrated bowie knife.
''The karambit is a small Southeast Asian curved knife resembling a claw. Known as kerambit in its native Indonesian and Malay, it is called karambit in the Philippines and in most Western countries. Although they were great slashers and they were perfect for delivering a stealthy kill from behind with just a stab through the back of the skull. The ones we use are about 3 inches long and were single edged and made of stainless steel and weighed 5 ounces.'' Alex Mason, a fellow SOG operator of Woods explained.
''Very good, it has proven to be a deadly weapon from what we've seen before.'' DAM said before turning to the Rambo expert, ''And you Colonel Trautman?''
''The bowie knife was John's favorite hand held weapon. It had a blade that was over 17 inches long and was perfect for cutting through a variety of materials like wood, barbed wire and even metal and meat. When used by Rambo it can be one of the deadliest weapons on the battlefield and it weighs just under a pound.'' explained Trautman.
To test out the damage capabilities of both knives, the experts will attack two stand in targets representing two Soviet Spetsnaz operatives. They both will perform one stealth kill and one head on kill and up first will be Alex Mason with the karambit.
''Okay Mason, you're already in position on my count 3...2...1...go!" DAM called out.
Mason creeps his way toward the first stand in and swiftly wrap an arm and places a hand onto the target's mouth and proceeds to jam the karambit through the back of the skull with a sickening crunch. He twists the blade several times before yanking it out and gently setting the 'corpse' down before rushing toward the second target and tackles it to the ground. Without saying much the SOG operative viciously stabs the stand in multiple times in the chest before bringing it to the throat and slitting it.
''Now that's how you take out commies.'' Mason said to himself as he gets up and walks away.
The panel then walks over to assess the damage.
''So first and foremost let me get the obvious assessments out of the way.'' Zivon said as he began to look over the mangled mess, ''The obvious stab through the skull was deep enough to penetrate the brain and end his life right there. He never would know what hit him his world just went black instantly. The second target you went in for a full force tackle and from the way he fell to the ground he probably would've hit his head and suffer a concussion dazing him which definitely left him open to your other forms of attack. After that you went in for a flurry of stabs into his chest and while one, two or maybe even five wouldn't be sufficient enough to kill, all combined with the amount of bleeding this guy will have will be what kills him. If you didn't stab him at all you slitting the throat alone getting the major arteries and veins is instant death. So all in all two kills in a very short amount of time.'' concluded the medic.
''Impressive display of aggression too on Woods's part. Do you think you can match your opponent Colonel?'' Rice Man questioned.
''I can match it.'' Trautman replied calmly as he got into position.
DAM and Demigod then set up two more Soviet Spetsnaz targets.
''Okay, new targets are up on my go on 3...2...1...cut em up!" DAM called out.
Trautman snuck up on the first target and much like Mason with his karambit the Colonel places a hand on the target's mouth and proceeds to stab the victim through the spine twice with sickening, cringe-worthy crunches before slitting the throat. Tossing the corpse aside he then rushes up toward the second target and delivers a stab into the throat before delivering another stab for good measure. He simply delivers one more attack by stabbing the target through the heart before pushing the corpse over. Sheathing his knife he turns to face the panel and nods.
''I'm all done.'' said the Colonel.
Zivon then makes his way over to see the damage.
''This is another good display of stealth and aggressive kills. The first target was stab twice and both of them cut through the spine severing the spinal cord for an instant kill. If you only paralyzed him the throat slitting would be enough to finish him off. The second target saw you jam that knife right into his throat which like the first target, severed his spinal cord and killing him instantly. The heart stab is a no brainer, anything that has to do with the heart means you're instantly dead. Two kills in a very short time much like the karambit.'' explained the medical expert.
''Rambo preferred to stealthily take his targets out so you'd rarely see him using the knife in a face to face situation. Nonetheless he was very deadly with this.'' Trautman added.
''Woods might be too aggressive for Rambo to handle and while the former may be an expert in stealth, Woods is absolutely vicious and ferocious in a face to face fight.'' Mason chimed in.
After testing out the killing ability of both knives, which one does the panel believe takes the edge?
''I think I'm gonna call this an even comparison, they both did so much damage to the body that I seriously cannot pick one or the other.'' DAM started off.
''Same boat here, the karambit has that curved design that will allow great stealth kills but the bowie knife is not just a weapon, it's a great utility knife as well and can kill just as well.'' Zivon seconded.
''Hm, yeah I think I'll call it even as well. Both operatives are great in a knife fight and whoever plays it smarter will get the kill.'' Demigod added.
''Both men can switch knives and do the exact same damage. The serrations in the bowie knife will allow for more damage and the hole for your fingers on the karambit makes it harder to disarm Woods but I'm still calling this an even match.'' Rice Man concluded.
In melee weapons, both warriors are dead even.
Coming up, both cold war operatives bring out their sidearms and then later two iconic assault rifles duel for supremacy.
XXXXXX
For close quarters combat, both cold war operatives bring in two deadly pistols. Since we've already seen the Colt 1911A1 in 'Sons of Anarchy vs. Grove Street Families' we will move on to the preferred sidearm of Frank Woods, a favored weapon among American black ops operatives.
''The ASP handgun was a custom made handgun designed and built by Paris Theodore. It features a clear Lexan grip allowing the user to see how much ammunition is left in the magazine. The hammer is rounded and the most noticeable thing about it is that there is no front sight but instead uses a guttersnipe sight system. Altogether it weighs 1 and a half pounds, uses a 7-round magazine and fires the 9x19 Parabellum round.'' explained Mason.
''It it quite a small looking pistol, I wonder what kind of damage it is capable of.'' DAM said before pointing toward the set up, ''So this test we're gonna have you shoot your way through Fidel Castro's estate like in the Black Ops mission Operation 40. You will have 3 magazines and will go door to door in this mock estate and after you take out the first four you will make your way to the master bedroom where you'll make history. Think you're up to the challenge?''
''I'll breeze through it no problem at all.'' Mason replied confidently.
Mason takes his extra magazines and gets into position at the entrance to the mock building.
''Okay Mason, 3..2...1...go!" DAM called out.
Cocking his pistol Mason opens makes his way down the main hall and approaches the first door. Kicking it open he is greeted by the sight of the first target and opens fire with several shots to the chest before delivering one to the target's face for good measure. With his first target dealt with he leaves the first room before coming up on the second room and proceeds to kick the door down like the first one. However once he kicked the door open he saw that the room was empty and just as he was about to leave for the next the target bursts out of the closet with plastic rifle in hand. On instinct alone Mason turned to face the target almost immediately and opens fire with the bullets that remained in his first magazine.
''Nice reaction, just what you'd expect from a Black Ops operator.'' Rice Man commented.
Reloading in his next magazine Mason swiftly moves toward the third room and busts the door open to be greeted by the third target and quickly guns it down with no difficulties before finally making his way toward the final room which contained the Fidel Castro stand in. He stacks on the door and after gathering himself for a minute he opens the door and is greeted by the fourth Cuban soldier stand in and quickly guns it down with a single shot to the head. The target falls over to reveal the Fidel Castro stand in directly behind it and wasting no time at all he fires what's left of his second magazine into the torso before making his way over to it.
Mason exits the room and looks over at the approaching panelists.
''I just made history.'' he said with a smirk.
Zivon then took a few minutes to inspect each individual target to determine the extent of their injuries. After he finished he made his way toward the Castro stand in before telling everyone the results.
''So for the first three targets you got I see that you've shot them multiple times in places that would kill them. Minus the ones that do have headshots the rounds in the chest are striking vital areas like the aorta, the heart and lungs which would all kill very quickly. The target that was guarding the Castro stand in took a single round in between his eyes instantly dropping him. Finally, for Castro himself you shot him multiple times in the chest and those shots combined would all kill very quickly. All in all you killed all four regular targets and the dictator himself in a shade over 2 minutes and 10 seconds.'' the good doctor explained.
''How did it feel to relive that moment before you were captured Mason?'' Demigod questioned.
''It felt good and I wish it could've been the real Castro I just put down in this test compared to what happened in the game. That bastard was prepared and had to know we were coming for him since I killed a double.'' Mason replied.
''If Rambo was in this situation, he would've breezed through it faster since his Colt has the larger rounds for more stopping power.'' Trautman chimed in.
After testing out the killing potential of the ASP and reviewing footage of the Colt M1911, the panel discusses the weapons briefly before coming to their final decision.
''Both weapons work well in close quarters combat wherever you are, it can be in urban terrain, the jungles whatever. They're both gonna perform very well in any situation but if I had to choose one I'm giving it to the Colt for the greater stopping power.'' DAM started off.
''I find myself agreeing there. The ASP's 9mm rounds are puny compared to the .45 ACP of the Colt. Both have the same magazine sizes but I gotta go with the Colt for the power of the rounds.'' Zivon seconded.
''The Colt's stopping power will allow Rambo to drop his targets faster and he'll be using less rounds so I give the edge to him.'' Demigod added.
''I can't provide anymore explanations for why the Colt wins, greater stopping power, more kills, less rounds used up.'' Rice Man concluded.
In short range weapons, the edge goes to John Rambo for the Colt M1911A1.
Coming up, two iconic cold war assault rifles are compared once more and then later two highly powerful American machine guns vie for supremacy.
XXXXXX
The time has come to take a look at the assault rifles these Cold War warriors used. For Frank Woods he brought with him the very accurate CAR-15 Commando and for John Rambo he used the robust AKM common among Soviet and North Vietnamese infantry.
Since we've seen these two or similar weapons before in previous episodes the panelists review test footage of similar weapons in previous episodes. Now we will let the panel decide on what to do. Boys?
''I'm gonna call this one as even, the AKM is, like the AK-47 very robust and nearly impossible to jam but the CAR-15 like the M16 and M4 is very accurate and smooth.'' DAM started off.
''For me, I'll go with the AKM due to being more robust which is something very important considering the environments these two operatives worked in. The jungles of Vietnam to the desert of Afghanistan is child's play for the AK.'' Zivon countered.
''I say even, both are highly trained with rifles and are pretty accurate shots with them so I see neither gaining the edge over the other.'' Demigod said.
''Whoever gets the first shot is likely to get the kill shot, Woods is a trained U.S. Marine therefore he is a skilled rifleman, Rambo is a Green Beret so he's already an excellent shot. I call this a tie.'' Rice Man concluded.
For mid-range weapons, both men are dead even.
Coming up, two all American machine guns come forth for a battle of long range dominance.
XXXXXX
The time has come for these American operatives to fire their long range arsenals. Up first will be John Rambo with the famous M60 Machine Gun.
''This is the M60, it has served in all branches of the U.S. Military since Vietnam and weighs just over 2 pounds. It fires the 7.62x51mm NATO cartridge with an effective range of 1,100 meters and uses 100 box magazines or a 200 belt with M13 links.'' Trautman explained.
''It's probably the most famous light machine gun in the U.S. Military's history and we've set up some target practice for you.'' DAM said pointing toward the set up, ''Right there we have 4 targets with jars of tannerite which explodes if hit by gunfire. There will be a few pieces of cinder block barriers to add to the difficulty to the test.''
''I understand.'' Trautman said getting into a prone position.
Taking the box magazine Trautman loads in the rounds before taking aim with the weapon.
''Alright Colonel, on 3...2...1...fire at will!" DAM called out.
Setting his sights on his first target, Trautman fires off a burst of 5 rounds at the foam target only for it to creep its way behind a concrete barrier only managing to strike the barrier without incident. Undeterred the Colonel fires off a steady stream of rounds to break through the barrier and soon enough the foam torso was struck several times before a small, controlled explosion filled the air completely obliterating the target. With that out of the way he aims at the second target as it slowly wheels around the firing range and wasted no time in firing a steady burst and manages to hit the jar of tannerite destroying the foam torso. Still having a fair amount of rounds left he wasted no time and smoothly fired at the last two targets detonating their jars.
''All done!" the Colonel shouted.
The panel then make their way over to the range so Zivon can assess the damage.
''Just like before with the ASP I'm seeing shots in all critical areas of the body which results in the deaths of all the targets. You can rush them really fast to the ER but even then we wouldn't have enough time to save them. Quick trip to the morgue.'' Zivon concluded.
''We find ourselves impressed with your time too, just a shade over 1 minute and 40 seconds.'' Demigod said.
Mason walked up to give in his two cents.
''While the M60 is a great weapon, it is prone to lots of jamming given my experience operating in Vietnam.'' the SOG operator then brings out his own weapon.
To respond to the ferocious power of the M60, Frank Woods shoots back with a lighter American gun.
''This is the Stoner 63 is a 5.56×45mm NATO modular weapon system. Using a variety of modular components, it can be configured as a rifle, a carbine, a top-fed light machine gun, a belt-fed squad automatic weapon, or a vehicle mounted weapon. It weighs 11 pounds with an effective firing range of 1,000 meters and was frequently using 30-round box magazines during the game.'' Mason explained.
''Alright, it's the same test for you Mason, whenever you're ready go ahead and get into position.''
Mason nods and taking 2 spare magazines and goes into a kneeling position.
''Alright Mason, on 3...2...1...fire away!" DAM called out.
Mason squeezes the trigger and the weapon roars to life and its high fire rate manages to destroy the first foam torso while simultaneously detonating the tannerite. Smirking to himself he sets his sights on the second target which was wheeling itself toward a cinder block barrier and Mason fires a short burst trying to get the torso before it hid itself behind cover but was unsuccessful. He fires the rest of his first magazine to try and break through the cinder block but the smaller rounds of the Stoner proved insufficient in penetrating the cover. The gun clicks empty and taking out the spent magazine he takes his second and loads it into the weapon and continues his shooting with a short burst.
''That would've costed him on a real battlefield.'' Rice Man commented.
The short burst finally breaks through the cover and seeing the exposed target Mason fires off another burst and manages to hit the tannerite detonating it and destroying the foam torso. He aims at the third target and manages to destroy it along with the tannerite with a steady stream of gunfire before his weapon clicks empty again. Loading his final magazine he stands up, aims and effortlessly takes out the fourth and final target with no incident.
''All done!" the black ops operative shouted.
Zivon then makes his way over to check the damage.
''Much like the M60 I'm seeing great accuracy being shown here. Discounting the obvious exploded body parts I'm seeing rounds in multiple vital areas such as the head, neck and chest which will be quick kills, instant if shot in the head or aorta. Another great show by another great American gun.'' Zivon commented.
''My only gripe here is the small magazine size for an LMG, Rambo wouldn't have liked to use this weapon when it came to taking out massive amounts of Soviet troops.'' Trautman added.
After testing out these two lethal, monster machine guns, which one does the panel believe takes the edge?
''I'm siding with the Stoner here, for me I would prefer the lighter machine gun especially when I'm on the move.'' DAM started off.
''Wrong, the M60 takes it. Sure it has that history of jamming but it fires the larger round, has a longer effective range and has more bullets for me to blow people's heads off.'' Zivon countered.
''I go with the M60 too, much harder hitting round and more range.'' Demigod added.
''While I do like the Stoner for being lighter and the fact that you can comfortably fire in the prone, kneeling and standing position I can't ignore the stopping power of the M60 and having a hundred rounds in a bonus.'' Rice Man concluded.
In long range weapons, the edge goes to John Rambo for his M60 Machine Gun.
Coming up, two bows are brought in for dominance and then later Metal Harbinger will gauge the x-factors to determine who is deadliest!
XXXXXX
As a secondary long range option, both these men utilized two deadly bows to strike hard and fast from a distance. For Frank Woods he brings in the crossbow and for John Rambo he fires the compound bow.
''The crossbow was a popular weapon for American black ops to use against the Soviet war machine. Being one of the weapons we used during our infiltration of the Soviet cosmodrone in Baikonur it proved very valuable. It weighs 5 pounds with a range of 152 meters.'' Mason then pulled out a bolt that had a piece of c4 attached to it. ''These small pieces of C-4 would be attached to to give the enemy an explosive surprise.''
''I wouldn't wanna be on the receiving end of this especially the explosive bolts.'' Rice Man commented before turning to Trautman, ''And you Colonel?''
''Rambo used a bow as well but it wasn't a crossbow. He was growing up learning to hunt with this and became extremely proficient in using it. This particular compound bow as made of carbonized fiberglass limbs with a draw weight of 90 pounds. The types of arrows he used were razor broadheads.
To test out the effectiveness of the crossbow the team has set up an infiltration scenario where our experts will take out three Soviet Spetsnaz stand ins from three firing locations and from each location they will fire three bolts and arrows each.
''Okay Mason since you won the coin toss you'll go first and remember, you're gonna be timed.'' DAM said.
Mason nods and stringing his first bolt with the go from DAM he crouch walks toward a set of crates which was the first position and takes aim at one of the stand ins atop a catwalk. Squeezing the trigger on the crossbow the weapon sends the bolt flying at a very high speed and the target was struck dead center in the chest. He loads another bolt and aims at the torso beside it and drops it with a bolt that struck it right in the throat. He wastes no time in taking down the first target once again by putting a bolt in it's face.
''Fast and smooth reloads, I'm liking it.'' Rice Man commented.
Making his way toward a set of barrels he gets his next shots ready and drops another torso with a bolt through the eye. Wasting no time he fires two more bolts hitting the target both times before moving on to his final firing position being an opposing guard tower. The black ops operative fired two bolts in rapid succession hitting another target before drawing his explosive bolt and took aim at the first two targets from his first firing position. He squeezes the trigger and as soon as the bolt was released it began beeping and stuck to one of the torsos. A second would pass before the bolt detonated blowing the two targets to pieces.
''Done!" Mason called out.
Zivon made his way over to the testing grounds and took a moment to inspect all targets. When he was done doing so he then gave everyone his evaluation.
''So the targets that were struck with the regular bolts you've shot them in places such as the eye and it was powerful enough to penetrate deep to hit the brain for an instant kill, another one has two bolts embedded in his chest striking vital areas like the heart and aorta equaling another instant kill. The explosive bolt is obvious, blew the two guys up in the catwalk to pieces for another instant kill. The normal bolts in them hit in areas such as the chest and face that punched through his jugular and jawbone for an instant kill''
''And I clocked you in at about 1 minute and 56 seconds, not bad at all.'' Demigod said.
''What do you think Colonel?'' DAM asked.
''I think John would be able to pull it off just as well, let me show you.''
It's now Trautman's turn with Rambo's compound bow.
''Okay Colonel, you're in position on my go 3...2...1...go!"
Trautman quickly and swiftly strings his first arrow and wasted no time in unleashing it upon the first target. The arrow sailing though the arrow quietly and striking a torso dead in the chest. Taking his second and third arrow he takes down the torso beside with no problem before moving onto the next position. With great accuracy and precision he manages to strike the next set of torsos hitting in the chest and neck respectively. Heading over to the last position he aims once more at the first two targets and fires a bolt into the neck of one target before firing his last two into the chest and eye of the other.''
''Done!''
Like before, Zivon makes his way over to evaluate the damage done with each individual bow before giving his thoughts.
''I'm seeing similar levels of damage with Woods's crossbow and you've managed to hit these guys in vital areas that would kill them instantly or almost immediately. I'm talking about in areas such as the throat, the jugular, eye socket, heart, aorta and whatnot.''
''And for your time I clocked in at 1 minutes and 30 seconds.'' Demigod said.
''While you did breeze through it faster are you worried you may have rushed it a bit and left someone standing?''
''John wouldn't be since he can rush through his enemies and still take them down with lethal precision.'' Trautman replied.
After testing out the deadliness of these two bows, which ones does the panel believe take the edge?
''I'm tempted to call this even right off the bat. Both men are extremely skilled with this weapon with the crossbow having more power and range and the compound bow being easier to use and possibly causing less fatigue in the user.'' DAM started off.
''For me I'll go with the crossbow for the added punch of the explosive bolts. The compound bow will need precise shots to take out one enemy at a time whereas the explosive bolts will take out whole groups of them.'' Zivon countered.
''The crossbow fires its bolt more powerfully and more range means Woods will be dropping Rambo from a bit further out. I give it to the crossbow this time.'' Demigod seconded.
''Explosive bolts, more powerful, it's gotta go to the crossbow.'' Rice Man concluded.
For special weapons, the edge goes to Frank Woods for the crossbow and explosive bolts.
Coming up, Metal Harbinger gauges the x-factors of these two deadly Cold War operatives to determine who is the deadliest warrior!
XXXXXX
Welcome back to the Fight Club, here we tested out 5 weapons wielded by America's deadliest Cold War warriors to determine who is deadliest.
For melee weapons, both the karambit and bowie knife were determined to be equally lethal.
''The karambit has a specialized grip where it would be hard for Woods to be disarmed while the bowie knife is both a killing tool and utility knife and both are skilled with these knives.'' DAM explained.
Edge: Even
For short range weapons, the Colt M1911A1 proved more powerful than the ASP Pistol.
''It has the larger caliber meanining targets will be dropped faster compared to the ASP.'' Zivon explained.
Edge: John Rambo
For mid-range weapons, both the CAR-15 Commando and AKM had their strong points putting them on equal footing.
''The CAR-15 has the range and accuracy whereas the AKM has the takedown power and robust design. Both men are also great marksman so that makes it more even than it already is.'' Demigod explained.
Edge: Even
For long range weapons, the M60 Machine Gun blasted the Stoner 63 to pieces.
''Larger caliber, harder hitting round means the M60 will be scoring more kills over the Stoner.'' Rice Man explained.
Edge: John Rambo
And finally for special weapons the crossbow and its explosive bolts obliterated the compound bow.
''Farther range and the added use of the explosive bolts gives the crossbow more lethality over the compound bow.'' Metal explained.
Edge: Frank Woods
Now our resident computer wizz and Metal Harbinger will gauge the x-factors of both warriors.
''Let's get metal thrashing mad with this!'' exclaimed the metalhead.
''For training I rated both men dead even at a 94 and the reason? Woods was already a trained United States Marine before becoming a member of the CIA's Special Activities Division compared to Rambo who trained in the use of the bow at a very young age before receiving special forces training and is a master of guerrilla warfare due to him fighting like the Viet Cong which puts them at an equal level.''
''For operational experience I gave it to Woods with a 90 to Rambo's 82. Rambo has only really served and we're not counting the last two movies, in a military capacity in Vietnam and Afghanistan where in Woods's case he has fought in Korea, Vietnam, in the USSR, and in Blacks Ops II Afghanistan and Panama as well.''
''Killer instinct was more toward Rambo's side since as shown in his movie series, you mess with and kill someone he cares a lot about he will become a monster unlike any you have ever seen. The best example of this was the death of Co Bao from First Blood Part II. Rambo has a 95 to Woods's 91.''
Next is endurance and this was dead even again. Both men have suffered through the most horrid of injuries during their time and have still continued on. Whether it be from bullet wounds or being tortured by the Soviets or the Viet Cong these men have the mental fortitude to fight through such hell. Both have a 93 each.''
''Finally we have dominance and this went slightly toward Rambo. When you're going up against this man when you've wronged him it's your funeral. He will adjust the battlefield to play in his favor to assure his dominance over you. It was another sweltering hot day in the jungles of Vietnam and the weather wasn't going to lighten up either. A man in the standard uniform of American infantry in Vietnam and a rag wrapped around his head SOG operator Frank Woods was seen prowling the jungle in search of a rogue special forces operative who went berserk and tried to kill some MPs at the Khe Sanh forward base.
The Marine Master Sergeant was tasked with hunting the man down and eliminate him before he could escape as he was labeled a danger to the U.S. forces in the region should be go defect to the North Vietnamese or Soviets. With his CAR-15 commando in hand and rucksack on his back he had picked up a trail he believes will lead him to his target. That was when he looked through an opening in the jungle canopy he saw a pillar of smoke rising from two football fields away.
''Gotcha.'' Woods said to himself as he picked up the pace.
Elsewhere in the jungle near a waterfall a lone figure was seen sitting beside a camp fire near an opening to a Viet Cong tunnel system. The corpses surrounding the figure being that of slain Charlies. The figure was seen shirtless and had a red headband tied across their forehead it was revealed to be John Rambo.
After hearing about massacres committed by fellow American troops against the local Vietnamese population Rambo knew he couldn't bring himself to fight in this unnecessary war any longer and decided to flee to Thailand. He was currently seen wiping the blood off his knife with his weapons hid in nearby locations except his pistol which he kept on his person.
Unknown to him however, Woods was watching him from a distance in the tree line and had his CAR's sight on him.
''Gotcha in my sights fucker.'' Woods thought just as he pulls the trigger.
Before he could fire off a round a local sika deer hops right passed Rambo and in his general direction. The sudden appearance of the animal caught Rambo's attention and he watched as the animal slowly walk in the opposite direction.
Looking into the tree line he made out Woods's figure and seeing that he had his CAR aimed right at him Rambo miraculously jumps out of the way just as Woods fires a burst from his weapon and manages to avoid being hit in the chest.
''Goddamn animals!" Woods growled as he got up on his feet and fired steady bursts where Rambo was to try and pin him down and when his weapon clicked empty Woods grabs his Stoner from his ruck and rushes to Rambo's campsite.
With his machine gun aimed out in front of him he scanned the area where Rambo was seen jumping into and saw that he wasn't there. Undeterred and unfazed the SOG operator continued to scan the area. Woods began to slowly walk away from the area still cautious about Rambo being in the area and hearing sounds from a nearby boulder Woods quickly turns and spots Rambo aiming his Colt right at him.
''You're not gonna take me alive!" Rambo screamed.
The Green Beret fires off several rounds which causes Woods to jump behind some rocks of his own and the SOG operative waits for his enemy's Colt to click empty. Hearing the gun click Woods quickly jumps out from behind cover and begins to open fire with his Stoner sending Rambo rushing toward a new spot for cover.
Woods roared ferociously as he fired at Rambo but each shot missed as the special forces soldier expertly traversed the jungle terrain with no difficulty. Rambo then dives into a nearby opening to the local Viet Cong tunnel system and scooped up his hidden M60 and an AKM from a dead Charlie and made his way around the underground system to a spot where he could plan an ambush on Woods.
His Stoner clicking empty, Woods knew that his enemy would've used the tunnels to make his way around the battle so knowing he had nothing to lose he quickly makes his way back toward where he set his rucksack on the jungle floor. Approaching his rucksack he reaches into it to pull out his crossbow and an explosive bolt. With that out of the way he turns to hunt Rambo only to be suddenly surprised when a square opened up in the ground, being a VC tunnel entrance and out popped Rambo with an AKM and the Green Beret opened fire on Woods.
Obviously taken by surprise Woods responds by quickly drawing his ASP and both men fired their whole magazines at each other and when their weapons both fired their last rounds they each managed to score a hit. A 7.62 round pierces Woods in his side and a 9mm bullet strikes Rambo in the upper arm. Both men growl from the pain and are knocked down from it. Rambo took advantage of the situation and falls back into the tunnels as Woods was left cursing the former for the injury.
''You goddamn motherfucking prick!"
Woods reaches into his rucksack and takes out some bandages and gauze and goes to treat his wound. He then applies a bandage and grimaces in pain from the wound before regaining his focus. With his crossbow strapped to his back he makes his way toward the tunnel opening Rambo was just in and taking out a flashlight and his karambit he jumps into the tunnel system and lands with a thud.
He transitioned from the harsh sun of the mid-day to what looked like pitch black darkness but that didn't faze him at all. Due to the size of the tunnel Woods was forced to crouch walk through it but kept his flashlight and karambit held out front in case Rambo attacked. The SOG operator walks passed a corner and peeks around it with his flashlight only to see the adjacent tunnel was empty.
However, just as he turns to go down the opposite way Rambo pops out and with an arrow strung on his compound bow he fires at Woods and the projectile manages to hit Woods in the upper arm.
The sudden jolt of pain makes him cry out and he drops the flashlight in the process. Woods manages to bring himself out of sight and leaps back into another part of the tunnel that allowed him to stand up at his full height. He rests his back against the dirt wall and goes to pull the arrow out of his arm. The SOG operator grunts in pain as he slowly pulls the arrow out and when he finally does he almost sighs in relief at having it out of his body. With that done he scoops up his flashlight and the second he lights up the tunnel in front of him he was greeted by the sight of Rambo charging toward him with his massive bowie knife in hand. He moves to the side causing Rambo to stab into the dirt wall and he swiftly reaches for his karambit and goes to stab Rambo in the side.
Rambo sees this and lets go of his knife and manages to grab the knife just before it stabs into him. He tries to disarm Woods but the karambit's special grip prevented the blade from being lost and the two men get into a test of strength. Despite being slightly taller Rambo's muscular physique was beginning to overcome Woods saw Rambo quickly use his free hand to grab the stuck bowie knife and before he could act against the attack the bowie knife was stabbed into his side.
The pain caused Woods to scream in pain and he quickly backhands Rambo whilst causing the latter to pull the knife out of his side. Rambo knocks the flashlight out of Woods's hand and takes the chance to run deeper into the tunnel to plan his next attack. Knowing that he had no time to patch himself up Woods picks up the flashlight and runs after Rambo.
Eventually he finds himself in a part of the tunnel that was lit and was the size of a small room with various crates of ammo. There was a table in the middle of the room and Woods saw two corpses with bullet holes in their heads.
''Poor grunts.'' Woods thought to himself.
His thoughts were interrupted when Rambo appears from behind a crate with an M60 aimed at him.
''Holy shit!"
Woods immediately ducks for cover just as Rambo opens fire with the machine gun.
''RAHHH!'' Rambo roared with such ferocity as he continued to fire the weapon.
Woods moves from cover to cover and wherever Woods jumped and hid Rambo would shoot exactly where he was and this continued for a full minutes until his machine gun ran out of ammo.
With the M60 clicking empty Rambo tosses the now useless weapon aside and draws his knife. He slowly walks a set of crates he last saw Woods jump behind and just as he approaches it Woods leaps over the crates and tackles Rambo straight to the ground. Both men roll in the dirt before separating and some distance was created between them.
Both men get up and stand tall facing each other with their respective blades held in front of them. They circle each other in a moment of silence before Woods broke it.
''You can die right here or come with me asshole, your choice.'' Woods said.
''You need to realize that we're both expendable.'' Rambo replied, ''Our country doesn't love its soldiers!"
Both men then charge each other with Rambo going for a thrust with his knife only for Woods to sidestep and taking this chance he swings the pointed end of his curved blade in a way that slices into Rambo's arm before going for a thrust himself. The blade digs into Rambo's side and the man grunts in pain before grabbing Woods by the wrist and twists it.
Despite having his wrist turned at an awkward angle Woods did not relinquish his grip and though he tried to use his other hand to grab his opponent's blade he was already stabbed again in the side by the large blade. Crying in pain Woods tried to fight back only for Rambo to use the bowie knife to slice deep into Wood's face.
''Agh! Fuck!"
Woods rushes behind some more crates leaving Rambo on his own. The Green Beret slowly walks over to where Woods was with his blade ready to deliver the kill and end the fight there. However, when he approaches where Woods was he hops onto the crates to see that the SOG operator was no where to be found.
''Hey asshole!"
Rambo turns around to see Woods pointing his crossbow at him. Before he can react Woods releases the explosive belt which lands in between Rambo's feet and explodes. The blast sends the Green Beret slamming against the wall while blowing off both his legs.
The Green Beret cries in agony as he was left on the ground helpless. Tossing his crossbow aside Woods takes his karambit out and looks at the wounded man.
''You're aren't just some special forces guy with that kind of skill. What are you really?'' Woods questioned.
Despite the pain he was in, Rambo looked his opponent in the eye.
''I'm your worst nightmare.'' he replied coldly.
However, Woods places the karambit's tip against Rambo's chin.
''Wrong, I'm yours.''
Without saying another word Woods forces the karambit through Rambo's chin and into his brain. This causes the Green Beret to gasp in shock for a split second before he went limp. Twisting the karambit for good measure the SOG operator pulls the blade out and stares at the corpse before noticing a large barrel full of water and walks over to wash his face.
He looks at his reflection.
''Man I look like hammered shit.''

Following a brutal back and forth battle between two ruthless Cold War warriors, it would be Frank Woods barely winning it with 50.6% to John Rambo's 49.4%. It was largely in part thanks to his deadlier crossbow with its explosive bolts that put him just ahead of Rambo. Rambo proved to be a very, VERY serious threat with his expertise in guerrilla warfare and more powerful close and long range weapons.
''What got Woods the win was the fact that he had much more experience as a soldier...well Marine than Rambo did as a Green Beret. Rambo may have been very smart in unconventional tactics but Woods would be familiar with those same tactics and would've found his way around them.'' DAM explained.
''I knew it was gonna be so close! Rambo really did make it super hard for Woods to pick up a win but in the end the SOG operator managed to turn it around.'' Zivon commented.
''I guess it makes sense, Woods fought in battles before Rambo fought in Vietnam so that extra experience really played in his favor.'' Demigod added.
''There's no doubt in my mind that this is our best match so far. Both men could be completely savage to their enemies but this time the better man won. Congrats Woods.'' Rice Man concluded.
Trautman was seen shaking his head.
''I disagree with the results, Rambo would make Woods cry like a little baby before ripping his heart out.''
''Rambo was a tough customer, but Woods was tougher.'' Mason declared proudly.
(Woods is seen exiting the tunnel system holding his aching side, having patched up his wounds he will venture back to the Khe Sanh base to report Rambo's death. He hears rustling in the jungle brush and out pops several Viet Cong guerrillas with their AKMs pointed at him. ''I kill you GI!'' Woods snickers to himself and readies his karambit for battle. ''You can't kill me!")
