I know lickers don't really use their teeth but after remembering that one scene in the original Resident Evil movie one can be seen biting into someone so I decided to incorporate that into this chapter. In addition this was supposed to be a Halloween special but getting caught up in work has slowed me down in updating it sooner.

(Several pale looking men and women with sharp claws bare their sharp teeth at the camera before hissing.)
Vampires: Bloodthirsty creatures of the night who kill to live and live to kill.
(Several vampires are seen lying in wait for a group of humans to walk by. They then use their lightning fast speed to slice through their victims with their claws.)
vs.
(Several hideous, bloodied quadrupedal creatures with exposed brains and long tongues leap at the camera while swinging their claws and roaring.)
Lickers: Skinless, agile monstrosities whose unmatched ferocity and speed make them a nightmare come true.
(Several lickers are seen clinging onto a ceiling in the Raccoon Police Department one of them leaps down on an RPD officer while the other uses its tongue to impale another.)
WHO IS DEADLIEST?!
To find out, we've assembled a team of world class fighters to test history's most lethal weapons. Using 21st century science, we'll see what happens when two warriors go toe to toe.
No rules. No safety. No mercy. It's a duel to the death to decide who is...THE DEADLIEST WARRIOR!
Here in our elite fight club we have gathered doctors, medical scientists and weapons experts to test out the lethal arsenals wielded by each of our combatants to determine who would win a fight between two deadly and ferocious undead monsters that are the stuff of nightmares.
Vampires
Appearing from: 30 Days of Night

Lickers
Appearing from: Resident Evil 2 (2019 remake)
Height: 1'5''
Weight: 160 lbs.
DeadAliveManiac, Zivon96, MKDemiGodzilla-Warrior, Its Rice Man and Metal Harbinger all walk into the Fight Club all dressed up for Halloween. Having already trick-or-treated the panel had decided to finish the night off by heading to the Fight Club for this special creature feature battle. The interior of the fight club decorated in various Halloween paraphernalia. DAM was dressed up as Hannibal Barca, Zivon was a Canadian Mountie, Demigod was dressed up as Scorpion, Metal had a wig on resembling James Hetfield from Metallica and Rice Man was dressed up as Jin Sakai from Ghost of Tsushima.
''Happy Halloween everyone! Welcome back to this special Halloween themed fight and tonight we're gonna pit two very frightening creatures from horror. The Vampires from 30 Days of Night and the T-Virus monsters the Lickers as they will appear from the RE2 remake from last year.'' DAM said excitedly as he ate an airhead.
''It's gonna be a great match between these two undead monsters. The vampires are intelligent and sentient beings capable of emotions whereas the lickers are mindless creatures whose main goal is to kill and spread the T-virus. I seriously cannot foresee a winner at this point because of their physical strength and speed.'' Zivon explained.
''I have to agree, they're both capable of easily killing a human but how will easy would it be for each side to kill the other? I can't wait to see which monster wins this undead deathmatch.'' Demigod added.
''Both are physically stronger than a human, much faster and can strike you down before you even blink. The vampires can strategize against the lickers but the lickers are just unpredictable monsters that'll keep even the vampires guessing. Since these are creatures here we're gonna need to set up some rules to make this a balanced fight. Let's get going.'' Rice Man concluded.
Almost every culture in history has had legends about vampires or vampire-like creatures, from the blood-drinking demons of Sumerian mythology, the Empusa of Greco Roman myths, to the Chupacabra of modern Latin American folklore. Vampires are a type of demonic undead creature that has superhuman traits and endurance. Their appearance is either human-like, many times attractive, to being skinny, hunchback, discolored, pale, corpse-like and with enlarged claws or teeth.
''The most famous version is of course the two-fanged seducer but more recent versions of the vampire give you this mouth of razor sharp teeth. Lickers got a handful this time and these ain't no RPD officers that are easy pickings.'' explained Rice Man.
The blood drinking apex predators slaughtered their human victims with a deadly natural arsenal.
Short Range: Vampire Fangs
Mid-Range: Vampire Claws
Special: Speed
However, how will these vicious predators of the night perform when they confront a group of skinless nightmares created by a deadly virus?
Lickers are mutant humans that result from the V-ACT process, a trait in certain t-virus strains which forces a second set of mutations among severely injured Zombies. Lickers are noted for their large, exposed brains, lack of skin and eyes, extreme sensitivity to sound and their eponymous tongues. They should not be confused with Crimson Heads, mutants which are the result of a separate t-virus strain undergoing this process.
"These things are really the stuff of nightmares. Any survivor who isn't prepared when coming face to face with a licker is a goner. The vampires are really in for a fight this time around." Rice Man explained.
To facilitate the spread of the T-virus, the skinless nightmares hack and slashed helpless victims with a lethal arsenal granted by the virus.
Short Range: Bite
Mid-Range: Claws
Special: Tongue
When both these monsters desired to kill their victims up close, they each brought with them deadly tools, the tools being their deadly bites.
''So to get an accurate estimation of the bite force of these two creatures we're gonna have to go look into the animal kingdom.'' DAM said before turning to the Vampire expert, ''What would be the most accurate representation of the vampire in real life?''
''The Vampire is on average 6 times stronger and faster than that of an elite athlete, so it is kind of a wolf or a panther if you would. The strength and speed all come from how fast the heart is pumping the blood through the body. For the vampire bite, the jaws can actually unhinged to fit the entire crown of a human skull in the mouth and kill the victim with just one bite with teeth that measure an inch and a half in length.'' Vampire expert Steven Niles explained.
''Very interesting, and you Leon?''
''The most accurate comparison for a Licker in today's animal kingdom would be a canine which on average is 5 time stronger than a human. It's thanks to the benefits of the virus giving the creature enhanced strength and agility. The bite is sufficient enough to kill a victim if bitten in a vital area like the neck and head and the teeth measure 2 inches long.'' former Raccoon City cop Leon S. Kennedy said.
To test out the lethality of the bites of these creatures, the panel has set up two actuated Vampire and Licker jaws. The test? To see which creature can deliver the most accurate killshot in the shortest time. Up first will be Leon with the Licker bite.
''Since we're comparing a Licker to a canine in terms of bite force we'll go off of a Rottweiler who average out at 255 PSI and multiply it by 5 will give us 1,275 which we will dial up to the Licker jaws.'' DAM said.
Demigod makes the necessary adjustments to the Licker jaws before handing it to Leon.
''So for this, the amount of blood a person would have is 5 liters and as you can see here we have tubes running up the neck of this stand in and beside it we have a bowl filled with 4 liters with one already in the tubes. Now, since the vampires are extremely dependent on their blood we'll see how long it will take the Lickers to bleed out a vampire and kill it. Sound good?'' DAM explained.
''Sounds good, I'm ready when you are.'' said the cop
Taking the Licker jaws actuator Leon stands beside the vampire stand in.
''On my go Leon, 3..2..1..CHOMP AWAY!" DAM called out.
Leon presses the button and the actuator bites through the vampire's neck and immediately a steady stream of blood began to pour out of the wound. The former cop then bites down again on the wound increasing the width of it as well as increasing the volume of blood spill.
''So we're now entering the first stage of hypotension and with each chomp you get in you're gonna increase the diameter of spill and with that you're gonna get cold and clammy and with a wound this big you're deader meat unless you get to a surgeon like, right now.''
Leon continues his vicious assault on the wound before using the actuator to bite down on the vampire's face breaking the nose off as well as taking out the lower jaw with a bite much to the amusement of the panel.
''So now your heart is gonna pump faster to compensate for the lost blood and at this point you have renal failure and...this vampire is done.'' Zivon explained.
''Time! 2 minutes and 2 seconds.'' DAM said.
''The Licker jaw and its bites were very effective but honestly, I think a time of over 2 minutes to take down the vampire might be a little long.'' Demigod commented.
''Well Steve whattya think?'' Rice Man asked.
''That's 2 minutes of a struggling vampire fighting back possibly with help. All it needs to do is call for help and another vampire will come and break the Licker in half.'' Steve said.
The vampires bite back with their ultra sharp and deadly fangs.
''The most famous version of the vampire is the suave seducer with these two sharp canines. The logic behind that is that they can aim those two teeth and hit a vein or artery every time is hard to buy. This is an apex predator with rows of sharp teeth capable of tearing out the entire side of your neck.'' Steve explained.
''The time for you to beat is 2 minutes and 2 seconds and we've swapped the Licker teeth for the vampire fangs. We've also adjusted the actuator to match the bite of an alligator being an apex predator like the vampire with the average bite of alligators being 1,723 PSI.''
''Alright, let's pop some licker brains.'' Steve said as he takes the actuator.
''Okay on my go Steve. 3...2...1...bite em!"
Steve quickly positions the fangs on the actuator onto the new licker standing with exposed brain and with a press of the button the actuator chomps down on the brain. A large piece of brain is bitten right off much to the amusement of the panelists and the vampire expert wasted no time in biting down on the licker's brain once more nearly biting it in half as DAM calls time.
''5 seconds to get the job done, nice!"
The panelists then walk over so Zivon can assess the damage.
''The blood supply to the brain is called the Circle of Willis and, Willis is dead. You bit down all the way to the core of the brain so this licker is dead again.'' Zivon explained.
''This is an intelligent creature, it's going to know what the kill shot is and I have no doubt the intelligence x-factor would swing the final results in our favor.'' Steve added.
''The problem is that when the vampire bites down on the licker it basically infected itself with the T-virus. That and you'd have a feral monster fighting back as you try and go for the kill shot so it wouldn't always be a guaranteed kill.'' Leon interjected.
After testing out the bites of these two creatures, which one does the panel believe takes the edge?
''I'm gonna go with the lickers on this one, its teeth are slightly larger meaning deeper penetration wounds and the added bonus of spreading the T-virus with every bite.'' DAM started off.
''For me I'll go with the vampires on this one because while the lickers' teeth are larger and can spread the virus, the vampires have the ability to disarticulate their jaw to accompany a larger area. So my edge goes to the vampires'' Zivon countered.
'''I find myself agreeing with Zivon, the stronger bite force of the vampires can insta-kill the lickers with just one bite so it gets my edge.''
''It's an easy edge, the vampires have a one shot kill weapon, the lickers need to get multiple bites in for the kill. Not only that the stronger bite of the vampires gives it an automatic edge in my opinion.'' Rice Man concluded.
In short range weapons, the edge goes to the vampires for their fangs.
Coming up, these two monsters swipe at each other with their lethal claws.
XXXXXX
Now the time has come for both monsters to bring out their deadly claws. For the lickers it was their lethal metal shearing claws and the vampires with their ultra sharp talons of death.
''Okay gentlemen, what are we dealing with when we're talking about the claws of these two creatures?'' DAM asked.
''The claws on a typical licker measured about 3 and a half inches long and was one of their main killing tools. These things were strong enough to slice through metal and the closest representation of this would be that of a grizzly bear which again is 5 times stronger than the average man.''
''And for a vampire their claws were over an inch and a half long and was their main killing tool.
''The average force a strong man can generate is at least 1,470 so multiplying that by the strengths of each animal we're basing these undead warriors off of that will be 8,820 for the vampires and 7,350 for the lickers.'' DAM said before pointing at the test set up.
''Right here we have two mechanical arms outfitted in the claws of both creatures and Zivon is currently dialing up the power on them to match striking force these creatures would hit with.'' DAM explained before handing over the trigger for the vampire claws to Steve, ''For your test Steve we want to see if the vampires can strike with enough force to kill a licker.''
''You got it.'' Steve said before getting into position.
''Okay Steve, on 3...2...1...kill it!" DAM shouted out.
Steve takes the control stick and presses the button and immediately the mechanical claw comes crashing down onto the licker stand in hitting it square in the brain sending a piece of it flying and spilling a large amount of blood onto the floor much to the amazement of the panelists. Repositioning the vampire arm Steve presses the button one more time and the claw swings sideways slashing deep into the licker face breaking off several teeth and a piece of jaw.
''Holy crap!'' DAM, Demigod and Rice Man exclaimed.
Zivon them makes his way over to inspect the damage.
''So for the attack on the brain you...'' Zivon didn't even finish his sentence and just simply pointed at the destroyed brain, ''You literally tore a huge piece of the brain killing the licker instantly. For the second attack on the mouth you literally smacked a piece of the jaw bone away and gave this licker a reason to go see a dentist even post infection.'' explained the doctor.
''We know that this is an intelligent creature that can figure out how to kill a licker. With snipers it's one shot one kill but in the vampires' case it is one strike one kill.'' Rice Man commented.
''The thing here is that like with the bite the vampires are spreading the t-virus all over the place meaning they might end up becoming new viral abominations.'' Leon chimed in.
''You think the lickers are more deadly?'' Steve asked.
''I don't think, I know.'' replied a confident Leon.
Now it's Leon's turn with the metal scarring licker claws.
''Okay Leon we have our vampire stand in ready for you to take out. On my count 3...2...1...cut it up!" DAM shouted.
Leon presses the button and the mechanical licker arm swings horizontally at the vampire's stomach leaving a massive wound in the target with the entrails clearly visible to the amusement of the panel. Resetting and repositioning the claws Leon presses the button again and this time the mechanical licker claws strike the vampire in the head sending the head twisting at over 90 degrees while leaving horrible wounds.
''Goddamn, let's see what we got here.'' Zivon said as he walks over, ''The first claw attack you're leaving deep gashes that will result in a lot of bleeding and with the vampires' hearts beating really fast they're gonna bleed out really quick and you disemboweling them is a guaranteed kill. For the attack on the head this one is a no brainer, you dug those claws right into the face deep enough to hit the brain and even twisted the head which could cause paralysis.''
''Well, feeling intimidated Steve?'' Rice Man questioned.
''Not at all, the vampires themselves won't be intimidated either.'' replied the expert.
''Even the most brave of humans would run for their life at the mere sight of a licker, I almost did.'' Leon said.
After testing out the claws of both creatures, which one does our panel believe takes the edge?
''For me, I'm going with the licker claws since they're larger and have a wider radius with the size of an average licker hand.'' DAM started off.
''I'm saying even since they both can kill each other in one fell swoop.'' Zivon said.
''The fact that the lickers are so strong that they can slice through metal with those claws makes this an obvious edge in their favor.'' Demigod seconded.
''Yeah I'm gonna agree there, while the vampires swing with a bit more power the larger claws and metal shearing power of said claws really puts this in favor of the lickers.'' Rice Man concluded.
For mid-range weapons, the edge goes to the Lickers for their claws.
Up next, we test out two different special attributes of these two creatures and then later our battle for the title of deadliest undead warrior begins!
XXXXXX
Vampires, the blood sucking creatures of fiction who kill to live and live to kill. Lickers, T-virus created monsters programmed to infect mankind. If these two undead nightmares met who would be...dead again?
And now the time has come to test out the special weapons and attributes of these two monsters. For the vampires it is their super speed and the lickers their lethal long range skewers, their tongues.
''So to conclude the analysis of the vampires, as we've said before they're over 6 times stronger than an elite strongman which means they are also 6 times faster than an elite athlete. The fastest run ever for a human comes off of Usain Bolt who runs at an average of 22 miles per hour so multiplying that by 6 we got your vampires running at over 132 miles.'' DAM explained.
''But can it dodge and outspeed a licker's tongue? These things can shoot and swing their tongues out at a really fast speed most survivors wouldn't be able to react to it and then they'll get killed by it.'' Leon interjected, ''The tongue also gives the lickers a lot of range to their attacks and can be used to trip people. From what I've observed fighting these creatures their tongues can shoot out at over 100 miles an hour, more than enough to impale a human with how sharp it is as well.''
''Okay, so we have an estimate at how fast the vampires move so we're just gonna test out the lethal potential of the licker tongue.'' DAM said handing over a rope dart gun to Leon.
To test out the lethality of the licker tongue in the most accurate and best way possible much like the Xenomorph the team will have Leon fire the rope dart gun with a pointed spike at the tip to measure the damage potential of the tongue. He will have 3 shots against a vampire stand in.
''Okay Leon, on my go 3...2...1...fire away!" DAM shouted.
Leon squeezes the trigger on the gun and the dart goes flying toward the vampire stand in hitting it square in the face. The bladed end piercing the face with a sickening crunch before Leon reels in the rope and loads the weapon for another shot. Firing the dart again he hits the stand in in the throat this time and reeling it in for one more shot he fires off the third and hits the vampire target right in the chest.
Zivon then walks over to assess the damage.
''The first shot you're hitting the vampire square in the face and it went in deep enough to pierce through the skull and hit the bottom portion of the brain for an instant kill. The second shot you hit the vampire right in the neck and actually severed the spinal cord from what I can see and feel here, another instant kill. Lastly, the heart. You pierced it and the alone ends the vampire's life.''
''The vampires won't just stand there and let the lickers kill them. As mentioned before the vampires move much faster than the lickers can fire their tongues out so they're relatively safe if they keep moving.'' Steve interjected.
''I know that, but it's clear that the tongue can easily kill the vampires and one slip up they're vampire kabobs.'' Leon replied.
After testing out and reviewing the special weapons and attributes of the creatures, which one does the panel believe takes the edge?
''I'm calling this one even, while the lickers can maneuver their tongues with incredible speed the vampires are fast enough to react and dodge it.'' DAM started off.
''To me, the lickers take this one because they have a killing tool, not a special attribute. One slip up the lickers are gonna be killing a vampires with one hit.'' Zivon countered.
''The tongue gives the lickers a lot of range too and to me, that's much better than having super speed.'' Demigod added.
''All lethal special weapon will always beat the super speed attribute of the vampires. Edge to the lickers.'' Rice Man concluded.
In the special category, the edge goes to the lickers for their tongue.
Coming up, Metal Harbinger gauges the x-factors of these two monsters and then our battle begins!
XXXXXX
Welcome back to the Fight Club, here we tested out the weapons and attributes of two undead monsters to determine who is deadliest.
For short range weapons, the vampires fangs proved more formidable than the lickers.
''Stronger bite force and has a more easily exposed target with the licker brains for an instant kill.'' DAM explained.
Edge: Vampires
For mid-range weapons, the lickers claws proved more deadly than the vampires.
''Longer and capable of slicing up metal is what makes them deadliest in our opinion.'' Zivon explained.
Edge: Lickers
And finally, the lickers' lethal tongues proved more useful than the vampires' super speed.
''Can actually kill and if a vampire slips up it is game over.'' Demigod explained.
Edge: Lickers
And now Metal Harbinger will gauge the x-factors of these two creatures.
''Let's get metal thrashing mad!" exclaimed the metalhead.
''First and foremost I did endurance and gave it to the lickers. They're literally just an evolved form of zombies and much like them the lickers are gonna have an endless amount of endurance and while the vampires are super human, they can still tire out. 100 to 99 respectively.''
''Second I did was feeding instinct and this I leaned it toward the vampires. While the lickers are basically super ultra mutated zombies they do not eat humans like regular zombies whereas the vampires are driven and strongly crave human blood to drink and savor. 99 to a 97 each.''
''For physicality I had to give this one to the lickers. While they are shorter they're definitely more muscular than the vampires since their muscles are well, literally exposed and they can even slice through metal with their strength and that scores them a 95 to the vampires' 94.''
''Fourth is ferocity and this was the lickers' to take. They are driven by pure instinct and lack any common sense much like their regular zombie counterparts. 100 to the vampires' 98.''
''Last but not least we have intelligence and this was a no brainer, no pun intended and went to the vampires with a 100. They are creatures that can think and strategize their next move unlike the primal instinct lickers who got a 9.''
Now that we've gathered the necessary data for our battle, Metal will now run the simulator one-thousand times in a battle to the death between two undead monsters. The battle will see 5 vampires encountering a pack of 5 lickers.
''So how are you gonna have this battle plan out?'' DAM questioned.
''I'm thinking about having the vampires and lickers encounter each other for the first time instead of doing a global battle. I don't plan on having some global battle between the t-virus monstrosities against an entire vampire hierarchy.'' Metal replied, ''So let's see who takes it.''
XXXXXX
It was a dark rainy night in the American mid-western community of Raccoon City and it wasn't a calm, normal stormy night that has descended on the city's population. A recent outbreak of the t-virus has accidently been unleashed on the town and now various citizens have been turned into mindless zombies craving flesh.
In the city's police department building we see 5 figures on the roof top descend into the building via a sky light. Upon further inspection the figures were revealed to be normal people but were actually undead monsters of their own.
5 vampires on a mission to seek fresh blood to satisfy their undying thirst.
Vampires: 5
The revealed vampires survey the main room of the police department from the balcony they were on and the lead vampire, being a tall well built male hisses orders to his subordinates. One of the females heads into the east office while the rest scatter about to search the entire building. With that the lead vampire jumps down onto the first floor but as soon as he does that five quadrupedal figures quickly dart past a window.
The view then switches to the outside wall of the building and five skinless looking creatures were seen crawling along the wall. These were lickers, a dangerous mutation of a regular t-virus infected zombie.
Lickers: 5
The lickers all hiss and break through a single window to hunt helpless survivors that might have found refuge in the police station and they all go their separate ways, the sounds of their crawling on the walls and eerie hissings and growls filling the empty department's hallways.
Meanwhile, the female vampire soon enters the east office of the department and begins sniffing the air and places her claws on the floor to see if she can sense any human prey. She picks up something and soon the air is filled with a hissing sound and turning around she as immediately greeted to a licker leaping right at her. She was unable to react and ends up being tackled to the ground by the skinless monster who quickly bites down on her face ripping out the front part of her face exposing her brain.
Vampires: 4 - Lickers: 5
Elsewhere, in the art room we can see a vampire kicking the door down and dashes into the room after sensing a human hiding within it but when he enters the room he only sees the human dead with a single puncture mark where the heart was. Confused the vampire walks over to the corpse and places his claws on it and finds that some of the blood was tainted and not human.
Suddenly the window above breaks looking up the vampire spots a licker leaping down on him with claws ready to swing. Rolling to the side the vampire manages to avoid being killed and sets his eyes on his assailant and was disgusted at the sight of the skinless licker who only roars at him. Despite that the vampire was undeterred and dashes at the licker who responds by shooting its tongue out. The vampire quickly ducks and dashes straight for the licker and digs his teeth into the brain killing the monster.
The creature letting out a short shriek before going limp.
Vampires: 4 - Lickers: 4
In the library of the building a single vampire was seen challenging two lickers to a fight and so far he was doing quite well despite the numerical advantage. One of the lickers attempts to ambush him from above but the vampire manages to grab the monstrosity and toss it into a bookshelf knocking the structure over and stunning the monster.
Now able to focus his attention on the other licker the vampire glares at the creature as it was crawling along the wall and having already figured out how these things work he runs toward the wall and uses his momentum to run up it he manages to reach the licker and just before the undead beast pounced on him the vampire grabs the licker and pulls it off the wall. Both creatures fell to the floor but the vampire was on top and manages to land with his foot on the licker's throat pinning the creature to the floor.
The licker hisses and growls at the vampire and before it can retaliate with its tongue the vampire digs both hands into the creatures brain and rips it along with the skull in two.
Vampires: 4 - Lickers: 3
Filled with bravado causes the vampire to lose awareness in his surroundings and a second later the other licker skewers him through the heart. He is then raised off the ground and the licker brings him closer with his tongue still through his chest and the vampire glares at the beast before fading away.
Vampires: 3 - Lickers: 3
With the kill guaranteed, the licker tosses the vampire's corpse away like trash and crawls away in search of more prey. In the main hall of the building the remaining vampires had gathered and knew that two of their own were killed by the lickers after having their corpses discovered by the lead vampire a few minutes ago.
The lead vampire hisses his plans to his colleagues and before they can continue about their search for blood a licker leaps at one of the vampires and slices deep into his face killing him instantly.
Vampires: 2 - Lickers: 3
The lead vampire and his remaining subordinate lunge at the licker and utterly slaughter the creature with multiple bites and slashes. The creature shrieks in pain and is finished off with a stomp to the head that completely pops it courtesy of the subordinate vampire.
Vampires: 2 - Lickers: 2
The two vampires then hear the last two lickers crawling on the ceiling and they look up to see the beasts lunging downward toward them. The vampires manage to evade the swipes coming their way and one of the lickers lunges at the subordinate vampire and brings him to the ground. The vampire however manages to break free from the skinless monster's tackle and kicks it off of him and uses his super speed to rush up to the creature and digs his claws into the licker's brain shredding it in the process.
Vampires: 2 - Lickers: 1
Ripping his claws out of the licker's brain the vampire turns around and is skewered through the eye and out the back of his head from the remaining licker. The licker retracting its tongue leaving the dead vampire to fall to the floor dead.
Vampires: 1 - Lickers: 1
Roaring in anger, the lead vampire glares at the licker and the beast responds by letting out its own roar at the vampire. The vampire slowly creeps toward the licker as the creature quickly crawls toward him. When they got close to each other the two undead beasts lunge at each other and each takes a swing with their respective claws.
The vampire, seeing that his attack wasn't going to connect before the licker's maneuvers his body out of the way slightly but the licker's claws still manages to cut him in the side. Growling in pain the vampire lands on his side clutching his wound. Hearing an ear piercing shriek he looks up to see the licker lunging toward him again and despite the pain he was in he rolls out the way and responds by kicking the licker into a pillar. The attack was enough to stun the licker allowing the vampire to get up on his feet.
At the same time the licker gets back on its own four feet and quickly brings its tongue out. The vampire eyes the tongue as it whips around the licker and just as the appendage flies straight toward him the vampire manages to time it perfectly and grabs a hold of the tongue. The licker roars and struggles to free its tongue from the vampire's grasp. Using his strength the vampire then gives a mighty yank and pulls the licker closer to him.
As the licker comes within grabbing range the vampire quickly wraps the tongue around the licker's neck and goes to try and strangle the creature with its own appendage. Sensing the danger the licker goes to violently shake the vampire off but the blood sucking beasts kept his grip on the tongue and uses the licker's own tongue to lift it off the ground and throws it over his shoulder and slams it into the ground.
The stunned licker then swipes at the vampire cutting into his thigh causing him to growl in pain and fall to his side again. Using this opportunity the licker swiftly retracts his tongue back into his mouth and shoots it outward again at the vampire. This time the tongue wraps around the vampire's wrist and the licker uses it to pull the vampire closer to it. The vampire gets dragged closer to the licker and just as he comes within arm's reach he wraps his free arm around the licker and grabs a hold of it.
With a mighty yank the vampire uses all the strength he gathered and in one move pulls the licker's tongue, along with some organs right out of its gaping maw killing the skinless monster.
Vampires: 1 - Lickers: 0
Unwrapping the tongue from his wrist and tossing the dead licker aside like trash the vampire looks around the main hall to see if there were anymore lickers.
Seeing that he was alone he raises his claws into the air and roars in victory.

Following a bloody battle between two fictional undead monsters it would be the vampires who narrowly emerged victorious with over 50.8% of the wins to the lickers with 49.2%. It was thanks to their superior intelligence and speed that led to their close victory but the lickers made it a pyrrhic one.
''What ultimately paved way for the vampires to win was their vastly superior intelligence which allowed them to execute and plan things out compared to the lickers.'' DAM explained.
''It was a really close match and had the lickers won I wouldn't be disappointed. Both these creatures had the necessary tools to win the fight but the vampires just pulled ahead.'' Zivon seconded.
''Wow, I was rooting for the lickers but I'm glad the vampires proved me wrong. I guess having an extra killing tool doesn't mean much when you're fighting something that is really smart.'' Demigod added.
''This fight could've gone either way but in the end intelligence proves the most devastating weapon. Congrats to the vampires.'' Rice Man concluded.
''If regular humans can take out lickers if they play it smart, I guess I'm not surprised the vampires won.'' Leon said with a shrug.
''You can't negate the strength and intelligence of the vampires. They've survived the plague and I had a feeling the t-virus wasn't going to be any different.'' Steve said.
(The vampire was seen slowly succumbing to the t-virus and he roars in pain and disbelief as he slowly begins to mutate into a zompire, his skin turns even more pale and his eyes turn completely white...he then roars and whips his tongue out at the camera before it goes black...)

Next time on Deadliest Warrior: Fiction Edition, two hardened teenagers from post apocalyptic worlds come face to face.
Ellie Williams: The sole immune human of the Cordyceps Brain Infection who could very well be the cure for mankind.
vs.
Carl Grimes: The rowdy and hardened teen who without any remorse kills all walkers and humans who threaten his loved ones.
WHO IS DEADLIEST?!
And I apologize to Resident Evil fans...
The vampires and lickers are the rightful properties of Steve Niles and Capcom.
