Welcome back again everyone! Today will be our second request character from ShadyShadez.
The character in question is the young man striving to be a great Pro Hero, the successor to the Quirk of One For All, Izuku Midoriya, also known by his hero name, Deku!
So far, the only full season I watched of My Hero Academia is Season 1 and part of Season to up to the fend of the Hero Killer Arc, but I will admit that it's a good series and that it is worth watching. With the Manga in the final story arc and the anime entering The Paranormal Liberation War Arc, the series is coming to a head.
As for Midoriya himself, he's definitely come a long way. Being born without super powers, a chance meeting with his idol, All-Might, and a desire to become a hero would lead him to inherent All-Might's Quirk and become a hero in his own right. Defeating Stain, Mucular and Overhaul with the help of his classmates and friends like Iida, Uraraka, Todoroki, his childhood friend/rival Bakugo, and the rest of his classmates, Deku slowly but surely became the hero he aspired to be.
So, what brings Deku into the Hollow Night? Will he be able to stand against the forces of darkness this night? Well, there's only one way to find out.
Oh and this will be set after the Overhaul Arc and School Festival/Gentleman Villian Arc but before everything to let you know.

Character Appearance: Deku wears his second hero costume, known as "Costume Beta", which is sturdier and more combat-ready in comparison to "Costume Alpha". It includes light beige shoulder pads, and its knee pads extend to his legs, reaching up to his thighs. His gloves are also tinted light beige and are decorated with blue stripes. His respirator is metal, diamond-shaped, and has eight holes. Izuku goes without a mask in his second suit, and although the mask is still present, he doesn't wear it much. In terms of its color scheme, it is now a darker shade of green with black outlines instead of white.

Intro: Leaps onto the stage performing a couple of 'Shoot Style' kicks midair before landing into his fighting stance.

Vs. Orie: "I can respect your desire for doing the right thing, but surely you can lessen that viewpoint somewhat. If you don't, you won't be able to see what's important and help the people who truly need it."
Vs. Wagner: "Those flames are just as deadly as Endeavor's and yet... I can tell that something's troubling you. Do you maybe want to talk about it?"
Vs. Gordeau: "Agh... that scythe has incredible range and I could've sworn that your power sucked up some of my strength. Your weapon and power made this battle certainly tough..."
Vs. Chaos: "I won't deny that coming up with a plan is a good thing, but relying on intellect alone won't do much. You need to put in the effort to make the plan work! Relying on brawn alone or intellect alone won't help much unless you use both."
Vs. Hilda: "I won't let you carry out your evil schemes! As long as there's breath in my body, I will protect this world to the very end! That... is what being a hero is about!"
Vs. Merkava: "This is awful... your existence is no different from a Nomu. I'll call UA and see if they can find a way to cure you of your condition."
Vs. Eltnum: "There's something strange about you... you know a lot of things and yet you're hiding things from me. Are... are you from the future?"
Vs. Akatsuki: "That was exhilarating! You're combat suit and your Blitz Motor made your every strike, blow for blow, land immense power! You've given me new ideas for my next Hero Costume and for Shoot Style, and for that, you have my thanks!"

Chaos: "Is your plan really all about landing precise blows with your "Quirk"? I have to wonder how you defeated anyone if your main method is just punching or kicking things really hard."
Hilda: "It comes to show that heroes are ALWAYS destined to fall before me! If anything, my goals are heroic in and of themselves! I'd say you're the REAL villain here!"
Merkava: "You would show me kindness despite the beast within me trying to consume you? You truly possess both the kindness and foolishness of a hero..."
Eltnum: "Follow your own path! Keep reaching for that shining star! Save the villains from themselves! Become the hero your world needs and go PLUS ULTRA!"
Akatsuki: "One For All, a Quirk that cultivates it's power with each generation. I thought it was only a myth, but to encounter such a person like yourself. If it doesn't trouble you... can we go for another match if you're up for it?"
Super Attacks
EXS Attack - Manchester Smash: Deku leaps into the air and flips forward to bring down a powerful axe kick to his opponent. If the move is activated in the air, Deku will do an immediate flip in midair before doing the attack.
Infinite Worth - St. Louis Smash: Deku propels himself off the ground into the air above his opponent and arches his leg back. He then focuses his Quirk before swinging it around and delivering a strong vertical roundhouse kick at the opponent. Deku can also activate this move in midair too.
Infinite Worth EXS - St. Louis Smash Air Force and Detroit Smash: Once the Flash Field connects, Deku charges up One For All at 45% proceeds to arche his leg back and unleashes a strong vertical roundhouse kick, firing a large blast of compressed air, sendind the opponent flying upward. As they're falling back down, Deku then activates One For All at 100% and delivers a straightforward lunging punch to the opponent as they fall back down, sending them flying across the screen.
Unique Traits
Double Jump: Like Linne and Akatsuki, Deku can do a second jump.
Air Dash: Using his Quirk, Deku can Air Dash after a jump. He can only Air Dash forward and can only do it after a single jump. He can't Air Dash after a Double Jump.
Wall Run: When you jump onto the wall at the corner of the screen, you can run up and jump off of the wall. You can aslo perform specific special attacks while on the wall.
Hilda Arcade Story Interaction
*Hilda arrives at a new location with a young man dressed in green standing before her*
Deku: "Hold it right there! Are you the one people refer to as Paradox?"
Hilda: "So what if I am, and who are you supposed to be?"
Deku: "My name is Deku and I'm here to stop your villainous plots!"
Hilda: "What do you think you are, some kind of hero?"
Deku: "I am a Hero fighting to protect the people and the world around me. I came here to ensure that you won't harm innocent people or the other people that are called In-Births."
Hilda: "You... you're serious? I was just messing with you..."
"Well... I didn't expect to see a literal hero show up here of all things. This just got awkward..."
Deku: "To be honest, I didn't expect what kind of person this "Paradox" would look like considering that this place doesn't have Quirk Users."
"Regardless of what's going on here, as long as I'm here, I'll perform my duties just the same back in Musutafu.
Hilda: "Musutafu!? You're quite a ways from home, aren't you?"
"Well, that's too bad for you... it's a shame that you're going to die a so called "hero's" death away from your home. Well, at least I'll make it quick and painless for you."
Deku: "I've risked my life against the likes of Tomura Shiguraki, Stain and Chisaki, facing you won't be any different then when I fought them!"
Hilda: "Oh are they going to be mad when I accomplish what they could not."
Deku: "Don't think I'll go down that easy!"
*The scene transitions to the fight*
Deku Arcade Story
Prologue [Location: Skyscraper's Rooftop]
*Deku is looking over everything from a building in Kanzakai, having been sent on a mission to investigate a mysterious phenomenon and deal with the situation if he can*
Deku: "So this is Kanzakai? According to what the briefing told me, this is the one place on Earth that has no Quirk Users, hero or villain alike."
"I wonder why they chose me instead of sending a Pro Hero like Mr. Aizawa or Endeavor to handle this situation. Not that I'm complaining about it, but still...
"Hopefully All-Might will give me an answer."
*Deku then pulls out a communicator and calls up his mentor, All-Might, the former Number #1 Pro Hero*
Deku: "All-Might, this is Deku. I have safely arrived in Kanzakai."
All-Might: "Midoriya, it's good to know you have arrived safely, how did the landing go."
Deku: "It went well. Before I get a refresher on the mission, is there a reason they only sent me here without back-up or a Pre Hero here in my stead. Not that I'm complaining, I'm more then glad to help, but I'm curious."
All-Might: "To be honest with you, I was questioning the mission myself. Apparently, U.A. wanted to play it safe and send one student to investigate the situation and if possible, stop the strange cause."
Deku: "Care to run me through the mission again?"
All-Might: "Your mission is to investigate the Hollow Night and eliminate the cause of this phenomenon. If someone is causin it, you are to detain them as well."
Deku: "It shouldn't be much of a problem, right? I mean, there are no Quirk Users here."
All-Might: "While it's true there are no Quirk Users, but there a people called In-Births who use something called "EXS', putting them on equal terms with Quirks."
Deku: "Thanks for the warning All-Might. Now I know to be careful around here.
All-Might: "Good. While you take care of things, I'll see to it that I can get your friends to be sent there to assist you in the meantime."
Deku: "Understood. I'll do what I can to save this city. And don't worry about me, I will come back once I'm done."
All-Might: "I know you will, young Midoriya. All-Might out."
*All-Might hangs up, leaving Deku to overlook the city*
Deku: "The first thing I should do is to find a clue that will give me an idea of where to go first."
"Alright, let's get to work!"
*Deku leaves the area as the 1st stage, with the first randomized opponent, loads up*
Stage 3
Vs. Byakuya [Location: Shopping Mall]
*Deku arrives at a shopping mall, running into a pair of people wandering around the place*
Deku: "Um, excuse me? Can I ask one of you two something?"
Tsukuyomi: "..."
Byakuya: "Um sis? I think this guy is talking to us."
Tsukuyomi: "I'm well aware Byakuya, I'm trying to ignore him."
Deku: "I wasn't trying to bother you. I was just trying to ask you if you saw anything troubling? Like, is there someone causing problems here? A villain specifically."
Tsukuyomi: "Villain?"
Byakuya: "I think I've heard about this. There's a strange phenomenon involving super powers... I think they're called "Quirks" I believe?"
Deku: "You know about Quirks?"
Tsukuyomi: "I'm surprised you even know about this. It sounds like something out of those manga."
Byakuya: "It's true. There are actual heroes, villains and even vigilantes. The real question here is why a Quirk User is around here."
Deku: "I'm trying to investigate the cause of the Hollow Night and eliminate the source of it. If anyone is causing the problem, then I'm supposed to bring them in."
Byakuya: "You hear that sis? Sounds like he's after Paradox too."
Tsukuyomi: Byakuya! Keep quiet!"
Deku: "Paradox? Who're they?"
Tsukuyomi: "None of your concern. She's a troublesome individual that me and my brother will dispose of."
Deku: "I see. You know, if this Paradox women is causing problems, we can work together to defeat and capture her."
Tsukuyomi: "Capture? No, we intend to utterly "erase" her from this world... permanently..."
Deku: "Now hold on a moment! You can't just go around killing people!"
Tsukuyomi: "This is why I can't stand you so called "heroes". You think you can just lock people up and think everything will be fine afterward. You don't know what that women's done to me."
Deku: "Please listen to me..."
Tsukuyomi: "ENOUGH! Byakuya, dipose of him! RIGHT NOW!"
Byakuya: "Okay sis, just calm down. You look much more beautiful when you're not angry."
"Sorry pal, I need to do what my sister asks of me. Before we do this, might I ask your name, Mr. Hero."
Deku: "I am known as Deku."
Byakuya: "Ah, similar to the term Dekiru, "The one who can achieve anything." That's a good name. Now, I can devour you with no regrets."
Deku: "I appreciate what info you gave me and I understand wanting to help your family..."
"But I won't let you or your sister kill me or anyone else around her either!"
*The scene transitions to the fight*
Stage 6
Vs. Nanase [Location: Old School Building of Falling Blossoms]
*Deku is now at a school with falling purple colored flower blossoms. He is wandering around until a young girl with brown hair and pigtails runs up to him*
Nanase: "Hey you there!"
Deku: "Huh? What is it?"
Nanase: "You look rather strange after looking at you and I have to ask this..."
"Why are you dressed like one of those super heroes from a manga?"
Deku: "Oh... Oh! That's because I AM a hero. I even have my Hero License here."
Nanase: "Huh? I didn't think you were ACTUALLY a super hero, but why do you need a license to help people?"
Deku: "It's so we can perform heroic activities within the law, otherwise it would make us vigilantes as a result."
Nanase: "Huh? I never thought of it that way."
"But that does confirm that you aren't an In-Birth. I don't sense any EXS coming from you and it doesn't look like you use EXS either."
"So the question remains, why are you running around here in the Hollow Night?"
Deku: "I'm trying to track down someone named Paradox. I hear that she's causing trouble for the people around here."
Nanase: "You too huh?"
Deku: "You're after Paradox as well? Hopefully not in a... distasteful way..."
Nanase: "What's that supposed to mean? I'm just going to beat her up and stop her."
Deku: (To himself) 'Good... at she's not out for blood...'
Nanase: "Well, that and to locate Hyde Kido."
Deku: (to Nanase) "Hyde Kido? Is he a friend of yours?"
Nanase: "AS IF! He pretty much ruined my life! Now he needs to take responsibility for what he's done!"
Deku: "Yikes! What did he do!?"
Nanase: "He... he... UGH! I don't want to talk about it! All I'm saying is once I defeat Paradox, I'm goin to make sure that he'll pay for defiling my body!"
Deku: "..."
"WHAT!?"
"Um... a-are you sure that's what he did? It doesn't look like your body's in bad shape at all..."
Nanase: "Are you trying to defend him!? What kind of hero would try to cover for a scoundrel like Hyde!?"
Deku: (to himself) 'Maybe it's because you're overreacting!' I haven't even met the guy!'
Nanase: "Aha! Perhaps your in an alliance with Hyde Kido! And here I thought you were a hero!"
Deku: (to Nanase) "Where did you come up with that idea!?"
Nanase: "Alright you low down, lying villain! I'll beat you down and then take down your cohort next!"
Deku: "Why is this happening to me!?"
*The scene transitions to the fight*
Stage 9
Vs. Hyde [Location: Art Museum of Light and Water]
*Deku has reached the front of the art museum where he runs into a boy around his age that's apparently heading in the same direction he's heading*
Deku: (to himself) 'Another In-Birth... so far, a lot of them have been jumping me. Although, Byakuya and Nanase aren't bad people though, just overzealous...'
(to Hyde) "Excuse me, can I ask you something?"
Hyde: "Huh? Um, sure."
"First of all, why are you dressed like that?"
Deku: "My name is Deku. I'm a Hero sent from U.A. to investigate the Hollow Night and stop a villain named Paradox."
Hyde: "You're after Paradox too huh? Didn't think there are real life super heroes in this place. My names Hyde if you're wondering."
Deku: "...!"
Hyde: "What? Did I say something weird?"
Deku: "N-no, not at all."
(to himself) 'Looks like Nanase was WAY off about Hyde. He's DEFINITELY not the 'scoundrel' she made him out to be.'
(to Hyde) "Anyway, do you know where Paradox is?"
Hyde: "Yes actually, she's actually right around here. There's a building that holds her office and within it, the Gate to the Abyss."
"You see my sword here? It's called the Insulator and she needs it to open the Gate and become a Re-Birth."
"Long story short, she'll become immortal and cause countless destruction if she gets my weapon."
Deku: (to himself) 'Immortal!? Oh man, if that happens, she'll be more dangerous then All For One and thr League of Villains put together!?'
(to Hyde) "And you're going to fight her!? Isn't that dangerous!?"
Hyde: "I can't just stand around while she's hurting people! Besides, even though you're a nice guy, which is a breath of fresh air by the way, I can't let a non In-Birth handle this."
Deku: "I can say the same about you. You're the first In-Birth that isn't out for blood and misinterprets things, but I can't let you risk everything like this."
Hyde: "Looks like the only way to settle this is to battle, right?"
Deku: "That's right. I'm sorry in advance!"
*The scene transitions to the fight*
Final Stage
Vs. Hilda [Location: Skyscraper's Rooftop]
*Deku has incapacitated Hyde, but both young boys refuse to back down from the situation at hand*
Hyde: "Damn! You look around my age, but you hit as hard as Wald does!"
Deku: "I'll admit, you power is strong, but it looks like you haven't mastered it yet..."
"However, it doesn't look like this is getting us anywhere..."
Hyde: "Yeah, I agree with you..."
Deku: "This Gate to the Abyss, all we have to do is destroy it, right? In that case, why don't you go handle that while I deal with Paradox?"
Hyde: "I don't know, Paradox can tear you apart if you're not careful."
Deku: "At least this way, we'll have a chance of stopping Paradox's schemes. Please, trust me."
Hyde: "I can't talk you out of this, can I? Okay, you're on. Paradox is coming this way anyway as she's probably looking for me. Don't die on me you hear?"
Deku: "You can count on me. You be careful too!"
Hyde: Heh, you've got guts! See you soon!"
*Deku heads to the rooftops to intercept Hilda in an effort to allow Hyde to destroy the Gate unopposed*
Deku: "You! Are you the one called Paradox!?"
Hilda: "Why that's a funny way to ask someone for who they are! Aren't you supposed to introduce yourself before asking someone for theirs?"
Deku: "My name is Deku! I am a hero who strives to become a Hero that saves everyone, regardless of whether they're Quirk Users, In-Births or regular people!"
Hilda: "Hero? Ahaha, don't make me laugh! Anyway, where's the Insulator Boy, you see I have need of him."
Deku: "I won't let you anywhere near Hyde! Not while I'm here!"
"Your battle is with me now Paradox! I won't let you become immortal and bring ruin to everything!"
Hilda: "Oh I intend to free the Hollow Night of all order! I'll become the salvation of the Night!"
Deku: "No way, not on my watch! Alright Paradox, prepare yourself!"
Hilda: "Oh well, at least you can take solice that you'll die quickly..."
Deku "Alright... time to go..."
"PLUS ULTRA!"
*The scene transitions to the final fight*
Aftermath
[Location: Skyscraper's Rooftop]
*Hilda is barely conscious as she looks at the young hero in disbelief as he pretty much incapacitated her*
Hilda: "Ugh... how...? How are... you able... to hurt me... ME... like this...!?"
Deku: "This is the power of my Quirk and my resolve!"
Hyde: "Hey Deku, glad to see you're in one piece!"
Hilda: "The Insulator Boy...! Ah, if only this nobody didn't beat me up...!
Hyde: "I'd say your being a sore loser right now..."
Hilda: "Wait... the flow of EXS stopped... the Gate! Did you destroy the Gate!?"
Deku: "He did. With that, your plans are foiled!"
Hilda: "Grrrr... I'll... kill... you... 'Hero' boy..."
*Hilda falls unconscious*
Deku: "Not if we put you in jail you won't..."
"Hyde, thank you for your assistance."
Hyde: "I'm just glad Paradox won't be starting anything now that the Gate's been smashed and the night's ending."
"So what will you do now?"
Deku: "I'll take Paradox into custody. She'll likely be sent to Tartarus where she'll spend the rest of her days. As for me, I'll just be doing what I always do, be the hero my home needs and to be with my family and friends..."
Hyde: "Sounds like a good deal. You do you..."
"See you later Deku..."
Deku: "You too Hyde..."
Ending
[Location: Street of Office Buildings]
*Deku is waiting for a pick-up with a restrained Paradox in tow and sure enough, his mentor All-Might arrives*
Deku: "All-Might! You made it!"
All-Might: "Of course, just because I can't use my Muscle Form anymore, it doesn't mean I can't be here to support you."
Deku: "Did you get the others?"
All-Might: "Yes. Bakugo, Uraraka, Iida, Todoroki, Kirashima and Asui are detaining the rest of Amenesia as we speak while everone else is keeping the Licht Kries at bay. It's over now..."
Deku: "Yes. Here's Paradox. I was able to detain her with help from a friend In-Birth who wanted to stop her."
All-Might: "It's good to know there are In-Birth's who wield there powers properly like with Quirk Users. At least if another threat comes, this city will be safe."
Deku: "Yeah, definitely!"
All-Might: "As soon as we take Paradox into custody, we'll head back to U.A."
Deku: "Right..."
*Deku is shown hanging out with the rest of Class 1-A at Heights Alliance, celebrating their victory over Amenesia*
Deku: (to himself) 'All twenty of us became heroes for different reasons, all because of our different walks of life...'
'But I do know one thing we all have in common and that's our wish to protect our home and everyone we care about..."
'For that is the reason we're heroes and we're going to go Plus Ultra in the future...'

With that, Deku has triumphed over Hilda's evil plans. Ultimately, this might be one of my shortest chapters thus far.
Overall, My Hero Academia has a pretty cool premise with a fun and compelling cast of characters, Hero and Villain alike. Deku/Izuku is a good example of inspiration as he went from a Quirkless boy to becoming the hero he always wanted to be after a chance meeting with his hero, All-Might.
Although things look bleak for him in the current Manga and Anime storylines, we can be certain that he'll get through somehow with the help of his friends and teachers. Only time will tell...
