The Great Twilight and Rean's been capture by Osborne and the Gnomes. Class VII, old and new, join by everyone throughout the world begin their plan to stop Osborne, and the Great Twilight. With war on the horizon that leads to the end of the world, they seek answers, and plan to rescue Rean in the progress. Will they save the world before the war or darkness consume all?

13. Mishelam

(Trails of Cold Steel IV ost - Green Twilight Path)

After leaving the Spirit Shrine, they arrived in St. Ursula road but in a forest area.

"We must be getting close to the railway, if that train rushing by just now was any indication." Musse said.

"Yeah, it must be the new Ursula branch line." Juna nodded. "My dad worked on it for a while. It connects the hospital to other major stations, and round all the way to Mishelam."

"Mishelam?" Wendy asked.

"It's a resort located on the lakeside in Crossbell." Altina explain. "It features a theme park as well, the mascot of which is a character name 'Mishy'."

"Oh, that goody-ass thing?" Ash asked.

"Don't be such a grump, Ash. There's nothing wrong with a little, simple fun now and then." Juna said with a smirked. "My dad actually does a lot of work for the Mishelam resort. Mom said he won't be coming home for a while because of all the limits they've been putting on travel."

"Oh, I see... Well, if you're up for it, I'm pretty interested in getting a look at the place." Kurt said.

"Even if we can't catch any trains, we should be able to get there if we just cross through the wetlands." Alisa smiled.

"We can't forget out search for the singularity, but taking a little break shouldn't be a problem." Emma added. "Juna smiled. "Thanks guys. Come on, the hospital's not far now."

The group continue to ride through the forest.

"This forest path has a different sort of air to it." Kurt said looking around. "Almost magical to it."

Juna giggled. "You're not far off. This is the forest from the legend about Saint Ursula and the wolf."

"Saint Ursula and the wolf?" Eugeo wondered. "Sounds like there's a fairy tale going on."

"Hmm?" Kirito turn his head. "Whoa. Guys look, on your left." He said as they stop riding and see a giant monster.

"A giant monster. It would be too dangerous to leave it alone." Erza said. "We need to defeat it."

"You read our mind. Come on." Venti said as they approach near the bridge leading to it, dismount, Levi created a barrier and then they charge in to take on the monster.

(BGM paused)

(Trails of Cold Steel IV ost - Robust One)

Bennu Nucluus spotted the group and then summon warm minions

"Eeek! Worm monsters!" Lucy shriek.

"Go wild! Crazy Hunt!" Ash activated his Brave Order as they rushed in.

"Search mode activate!" Altina scan it with her Detector Craft. "It's incredibly weak to Earth and Space Arts and magic!"

"Oh this will be fun!" Donald grinned as he begin to cast an Orbal Art.

Bennu Nucleus unleash a malevolent aura toward the group where it suck on their energy and heal itself before it swings it's arm and launch a projection attack. The Worm monsters launched themselves into a bit of attack but Erza takes them down easily with a large slash.

"FIRE DRAGON IRON FIST!" Natsu punch Bennu Nucleus to push it back as Gray jump into the air.

"ICE-MAKE: DEATH SCYTHE!" Gray swing down a scythe onto Bennu Nucleus as Lucy Stardress into Virdo Form and where she sink underground and then launch out with Spaica Lucy Punch.

Juna ran up and launch some punches as Kurt let out twin slashes. Bennu Nucleus push them both back with its arms and then shoot protections attack from it button hones. Donald Cast Gravion Hammer onto Bennu Nucleus and received critical damage as Ash let out a flurry of slashes from his axe while Musse shoot orbal shoots around it's body before charging and firing a orbal laser. Altina had Claiomh Solais form into a Diamond Sword and launch it at Bennu Nucleus while Venti used hi Craft: Divine Marksmanship 2 to released seven arrows of wind and struck around it. Levi imbued his Glaive with his power and unleash a flurry of slashes before impaling the ground, leap toward his Glaive and launch a rapid spin kick toward the top of the Glaive, grabbed it and launch a powerful downward slash.

Bennu Nucleus unleash a dark wave as it screech, summoning lighting to struck on the ground.

"Heal!" Donald cast Curaga onto the group where Sora shotlock on Bennu Nucleus and fire Divine Septium as random elemental blades of fire, water, earth, wind, time, space, mirage were launch toward Bennu Nucleus and strike around it while Goofy launch a drill attack on Bennu Nucleus's face, jump off and then use Goofy Tornado.

"Sky Dragon Wing Attack!" Wendy launch a powerful stream of air to push back Bennu Nucleus as Erza summon another sword to duel wield, lung toward Bennu Nucleus and unleash a flurry of slashes.

Kirito with his duel wielding, launch combo slashes onto Bennu Nucleus with Asuna imbued her Rapier with power, rush around it and use Mother Rosaria. Eugeo imbued his Sword with ice powers and then launch combo slashes. Bennu Nucleus unleash an abyssal wave toward the group and then it clapped it's arms together to swing down a powerful aftershock to push them back. Then it summon several dark purple energy around itself and push toward the group.

"Take this!" Donald swirl his wand and several Earth Spike struck Bennu Nucleus.

"And this!" Juna used Cross Break 2 with Kurt launch a swing combo with a single kick, imbued his sword with blue and green energy and unleash a whirlwind of slashes.

Bennu Nucleus unleash a malevolent aura to drain their health to recover before it's mouth begin to goggle some substance.

"Uh-uh-Uh." Venti wave his arm and summon three magical horizontal platforms and launch it at Bennu Nucleus to stunned it as Altina used her Bomb Magic.

"Explosion Spiral!" Altina swing her arms and a swirl of explosion struck Bennu Nucleus.

"Lucy Kick!" Lucy jump into the air and then kick Bennu Nucleus head as Natsu jump into the air.

"FIRE DRAGON BRILLANT FLAME!" Natsu channelge a large sphere of fire and throw it at Bennu Nucleus, burning it alive as it explode into purple light.

"Okay, guess that's take care of that." Goofy said as Donald cast Curaga onto everything.

"Thanks Donald!" Wendy smiled.

"Okay, that's one monster down." Happy said.

"Now that's clear out. Let's continue on." Carla remark as they nodded, got back to the horses and rode toward St. Ursula's Hosptial.

(Trails of Cold Steel IV ost - St. Ut. Ursula Medical College -Ser Ver.-)

No sooner then later, They begin to reach St. Ursula Hospital.

"So this is the medical college. I must admit. It's more beautiful than I imagined it." Levi said as they dismount and the horses were put away in Dimensional Home.

Juna nodded. "Yeah, and it's not just the building. The doctors here are the best of the best. Thanks to some knowledge and the purchase of equipment from both Remnant and Mushroom Kingdom, the hospital has been improved and expanded."

"They're receiving fundings from Eemniferia, aren't they?" Alisa asked. "The doctors here took such great care of Sharon last time. It would be nice if I could thank them in person..."

"I've heard that since the annexation, they've seen an influx of patients from all over the Empire." Jusis replied

"There doesn't seem to be that many people as far as I can see." Altina said.

"The security's a joke in this place." Ash added. "I thought that military and political types were supposed to be coming in 'n' out of here."

Musse hummed. "Imagine they keep those paticular patients behind closed doors."

"We should contact Valerie and let her know where're here." Levi said as he pull out his ARCUS unit and call Valerie. "Hmm, I can't seem to reach her... Either she is busy or somewhere the signal can't reach." He put his ARCUS away. "We're going to search the premise, but let's not make too many noises and draw attention to ourselves." He said, as everyone turn to Natsu.

"What?" Natsu asked

"Just keep it down while we're here." Gray said as they go in. "So where should we go?"

"Hmm... How about we go to the balcony?" Juna suggest. "Follow me." She said as they go into the Lobby and then take the stairs that leads to the third floor and then go into the balcony area where they view a beautiful view of the lake and forest.

"Wow. Look at this place..." Happy said in awe.

"It certainly breathtaking." Yui smiled.

"This spot's pretty popular for patients who want some fresh air." Juna giggled as they spotted a door leading to a building.

"So, what's this place?" Levi asked.

"I'm pretty sure this is the medical college's research building." Juna replied. "I mean, I've never been inside before, but still."

"Hmm, could this be where Valerie is?" Musse asked.

"Probably. We should go inside." Yui nodded

(BGM paused)

(Trails of Cold Steel IV ost - In the Darkness of Ignorance)

Before they can go in, they heard a limo parking where they turn and see Rufus and an olderly but stern tough looking military man, accompany by one Imperial Defense Force and an Imperial Army Soldier.

"Oh great... Look who decided to visit." Levi muttered as he whispered

"Rufus Albarea. The Primary member of Chancellor Osborne's Ironblood. And with him is one of his personal security unit, despite being an IDF." Erza whispered

"But the elderly man next to him... He looks very familiar."

"The Commander of the Imperial Army, General Vandyck." Jusis said. "Until the year before last, he was the principal of Thors Military Academy."

Levi gasped. "What?! The former principal is back on military service?!"

With Rufus and Vandyke...

Vandyke sighed. "It was of no small relief to me to hear the news of His Majesty's waking. It is still too soon for us to breathe easy, of course, but I am glad all the same."

Rufus nodded. "Indeed. His Majesty's doctors are working as hard as they can. Fortunately, thanks to medical knowledge and the purchase equipments from Remnant and the Mushroom Kingdom, we were able to secure the best possible outcome. However, despite that, the situation is still dire."

"I suppose so. The rest is in Aidios' hands. Though perhaps we should at least visit him. That may put my mind at ease."

Rufus chuckled. "Very well. Then allow me to escort you to the VIP ward."

Rufus and Vandyke then head toward the Lobby with the soldiers.

Back with the group...

"W-Wait, they're coming our way." Juna said.

"This isn't good. We need to hide." Kurt added.

"There you are."

"This way, all of you."

Two people called to them and they saw Grace, Kylie Koopa, and Valerie in a nurse uniform with her two Pokemon Whismur and Toxel

"Huh?" Altina asked

"Is that Grace, Kylie and...Valerie?!" Venti asked in surprise, seeing that Valerie was in a nurse outfit.

"We can talk later. Come with us." Valerie replied. "If you don't wanna be found that is."

"She's right. Come on." Levi said as they follow them and head to an undisclosed part of the hospital where they can't be seen and have an easier time talking.

(Trails of Cold Steel IV ost - St. Ut. Ursula Medical College -Ser Ver.-)

"Whew! That was a close one, Valerie." Levi sighed with relief.

"We knew we'd be able to find you somewhere around here, but..." Altina paused

"Pfft. Didn't expect you to get all Nuse Naughty on us in the progress." Ash smirked

"All right, All right. Keep it in your pants. The staff here let me hide out with them the second I mentioned Linde." Valerie replied. "I figured I may as well fill in for her while she's still missing. That's all."

"I see. That makes sense." Kurt said.

"I'm surprised to see you here Kylie." Venti said.

"I know! It's been awhile since we met back in Pi'illo Island." Kylie wink. "I just finish the job so I'll be doing some other assignment that's going on. Blah, blah, blah. I met up with Grace on a story and we became friends."

"We'll just have to have faith that Linde's okay, wherever she's gone." Emma said.

"Well, not to break the mood, but thanks for helping me out of that jam, too." Grace chuckled. " The Governor General's got all his cronies keeping eyes on me. Wouldn't do me any favors being found out now."

"I think we're surprised to see you here Grace. But what brings you here?" Lucy asked

"I take it that threat letter you got wasn't the only thing that force you to be here?" Asuna asked.

"Weeeeeeell, I guess you could put it that way. But after seeing who else showed up around here, I'd say I've got a pretty good lead." Grace answered

"You mean Rufus and that military general?" Erza asked. "But why would they visit a hospital? Espcually in Crossbell?"

"The both of them must have only just arrived by aitship from Garrelia Fortress."

"And they made a beeline straight for St. Ursula..." Kurt rub his chin. "Something must be amiss."

"They're here to visit a patient." Valerie said. "One who finally woke up a few days ago. Someone very important to them. But not just to them...to the entire Empire of Erebonia. And that's no exaggeration."

Levi gasped. "You don't mean Emperor Eugent III?!"

She nodded.

"Oh, you found them. Good work, Valerie." A voice said.

They turned around to see a nurse enter the room.

"Not a problem, Chief Nurse." Valerie smiled

"C-Cecile?!" Juna cheered

"Long time no see. Frantic as always, aren't you?" Grace asked

"Oh, you know me. Still, it's so wonderful to see the two of you again." Cecile smiled "And to the rest of Class VII and their friends. It's a pleasure to meet you all. I'm Cecile Neues, the chief nurse on staff here. I've heard all about you from Valerie and Lloyd."

"You know the Special Support Section, then?" Kurt asked.

"She does." Juna nodded. "She's kinda like Lloyd's big sister, in a way. The two of us are neighbors."

"And speaking of the SSS, I've been hearing your name a few times, Levi from Randy and Tio." Cecile said. "Thanks so much for looking after them."

"I should be thanking them. Rio and Randy have been a big help to me." Levi smiled.

"So how is Ilya doing Celice? I heard she was transferred to the Mushroom Kingdom Hosptial." Juna asked

"She's going all right. Whenever I'm on break, I often check up on her on the phone. I honestly wanted to go with her, but she made the decision for me. 'Don't worry! I can finish up rehab just fine on my own. The Mushroom Kingdom has plenty of staff there that can look out for me while you look out for another patient who needs you more than I do right now! Besides, I wanted to visit the Mushroom Kingdom and meet the people there. Who knows, I might meet fellow dancers who might be more skilled than I am. If there was. I'll be sure to bring them over to Arc en Ciel.' And somewhere along those lines, she said something about those red Polka dot mushrooms being delicious and might help recover Rehab more quickly and durability."

"Haha... They don't call her the 'Fervent Dancer' for nothing." Juna sweatdrop.

"That's Ilya for you. Graceful as a swan, stubborn as a mule." Grace said.

"We did learn that the Super Mushroom can help teach the body to become more durable. Not just recover your health and increase your strength with Arts and Crafts." Musse added.

"I heard about that too. But anyways, so about this other patient... I'm guessing the rumors were true?"

"Yes, they are." Cecile replied. "As a matter of fact, he asked me to show you to him once you arrived. Which I'll be perfectly happy to do, after the supreme commander and governor general are gone. How does that sound?"

"Well..." Altina paused as they turn to Ash who was the one who shot the Emperor because of the curse.

Ash, however, wasn't hesitant. "It sounds great to me. Lead the way, babe."

(BGM paused)

"Of course. Please wait a moment. I'll let you know when they leave." Cecille nodded as she took off.

(Trails of Cold Steel IV ost -Bond - Relations-)

After Rufus and Vandyck have left St. Ursula, Cecile escorted the party to one of the VIP paitent rooms. Cecile knock on the door.

"May we come in?" Cecile asked.

"Enter."

The group then enter the VIP room where they see Emperor Eugent being cared for by a doctor nearby with Chansey and Audino with nurse hats.

"Oh! There's a Chaney and an Audino." Kurt whispered

"Well, both Chansey and Audino are known for nursing people and Pokemon. It would make sense for them to be here in the hospital." Levi whispered as he explained and notice Ash is feeling down.

"My sincerest welcome to you, Class VII of Thors Military Academy. And to your friends as well." Eugent said to us. "You'll have to forgive me for being underdressed given this is a reunion of sorts."

"Your Majesty." Levi replied as he bowed to him. "It brings me great relief to see you're recovering well. It was a shock to all of us what happened to you, and that you were located here. But nonetheless, I'm sure the Empress and Princess Alfin are relieved to hear, I assume."

"Ah yes, the day I woke for the first time in weeks. They were at my side, I'm sure you can imagine the amount of tears that fell, once I saw their faces."

"Yes... I would imagine show... But... Your Majesty." Levi look down with sadness. "While I am filled with great relief. I cannot say the same for Prince Olivert. I owe Prince Olivert so much, and I couldn't bear the guilt of what happened to you and him. He was my friend… along with Princess Alfin and Crown Prince Cedric... until he changed."

"Ah, yes." Eugent close his eyes. "I've heard of Cedric's deed. I had imagined that he wouldn't subsume in hatred. But alas... I apologize for the trouble he might have caused."

"I normally wouldn't allow visitors for a patient in his condition." A doctor said. "But as this is a special case, you've got ten minutes. Nurse Neus, Audino, Chansey, If anything happens, come see me."

"Chansey."

"Audino." Both Chansey and Audino nodded.

"Yes, Doctor." Cecile replied.

"She's certainly stern." Natsu fold his arm.

"Well, she is a doctor. I think she's just worried about her patient." Wendy said.

"It's wonderful to see how well you're recovered, Emperor Eugent." Kurt said.

"Yes. Although as you can see, it hasn't been an easy journey." Eugent replied. "I've been briefed on the majority of what occurred while I was unconscious. About the start of the Great Twlight, about the death of my son... the coming war with Calvard. No, the coming of our very end." Eugent look down. "Even knowing of its approach, I regret that I must leave this mess to you young men and women to resolve. As the Emperor of Erebonia, I formally apologize."

"P-Please, there's no need to- Wait, what do you mean?" Juna asked.

"Did you mean to say, that you knew this was going to happen beforehand?" Altina added.

"Correct. So it is written in the Black Records passed down from one of the Imperial Family to the next." Eugent answerd.

"That's what Thomas said to us before that time with Grima and Organization XIII." Levi said. "He also asked Rean to gathering up the records that were scattered during the travels."

"Yes. The records provide a rough chronicle of everything leading up to the Great Twilight. The Empire's dark history, stories of the Divine Knights, and the Dark Dragon...it also prophesied that a sacrifice would be made, and the path to the Gral would open. Although Levi managed to halt the prophecy for a short time, it will find a way to resume."

"I'm sorry..." Ash said quietly. "If only I had been stronger, none of this would have happened."

"You are not to blame, Ash. The sin is not yours to bear. This has been brought about by the Empire's curse and the darkness that manipulated your heart. By that measure, both you and I are the same. What matters now is what follows. Until now, everything has gone according to the Chancellor and the Gnomes' plan. But the Black Records stop where the Great Twilight begins. What happens next is a tale yet unwritten. There still remain paths that not even they could have foreseen. Including the path you've chosen, Lady Mildine."

"Oh..." Musse said.

"So you were already aware…." Jusis said.

"I also like to apologize to you Ash." Eugeotn said

"What for?" Ash asked

"When I ask Cedric to please do not blame you for what was about to become, I was certain he would understand. I'm not sure what become of him of late. Though... I can only imagine one thing to his change." Eugent went to his nearby drawer, pull out a document and hand it over to Levi as he took it.

"What's this?" Levi asked.

"A document containing the whole truth as I am aware of it. The same truth I shared with your colleague and Class VII Instructor." Eugent then laid down in his bed. "I am giving it to you in the hopes that you may find the third path that Olivert sought."

"I'm sure it will be of great help to us." I said. "I wish I could say more, but I feel our ten minutes is up."

"There is no need, Levi. Now then...that will be all. When you find your Instructor, find your own path..."

He closed his eyes and started sleeping away.

"Looks like he's fallen asleep." Levi said to the group. "Let's go, everyone."

As everyone soon left the Emperor's room where Cecile place in the 'No Visitors' notice. They then headed back to the nurse station with Doctor Seiland soon afterward.

"There's sharpnel in his heart?" Musse asked

"That's right." Cecile nodded. "He really should be resting right now, but they're insisting that we operate as soon as possible."

"We were initially called to the capital, but due to the scale of the surgery, we've had him transferred here." Doctor Seiland added. "Thankfully with the medical knowledge and the equipment I've learned and honed from two certain nations, we estimate the success rate to be just shy of 65 percent. If we had more experienced doctors or a team with that good level of experience, we could increase the chances. "

"And yet despite all the pain, he still found strength to speak to us." Erza said. "He truly is a strong willed man."

Ash quietly scoffed while looking upset and concerned. "Who the hell's he tryna fool? Actin' all... tough and..."

"That reminds me, what did the letter say?" Grace asked.

"Mostly about the Black Records, and the Curse of Erebonia. We already learned a few pieces about it. But thankfully, more pieces are starting to fit together." Levi answered

"The Curse of Erebonia..." Valerie fold her arms. "The annexation of North Ambria is just another consequence of it."

Grace sighed. "But newsworthy as this all is, we can't just put out an article about it."

"Because the emperor has become an open secret?" Lucy asked.

"Sort of. But if we wrote an article about it, there would be worst possible consequences such as being sensor, or shut down. Or even worse, being targetted for assassination." Kylie added.

"I would imagine..." Carla fold her arm."

"Still, at least we're seeing a bigger picture here." Goofy said.

"Right. Every one of those events is driving us closer and closer toward war." Kurt nodded

"North Ambria... Crosbell... the Hundred Day War... the Civil War..." Levi muttered. "As well as other historical event in history."

"Umm... N-Nuse Cecile? Do you have a moment?" A nurse called out to her.

Cecile tilt her head. "I wonder what this could be. Excuse me for a second." She said as she leave the room before hearing a gasped. "I-I thought you'd left already.

"The governor general has, yes. However, I realized I had one last matter to see to here." A voice said on the other side of the door. "I will be perfectly frank: will you allow me to speak with Class VII."

"Crap! He already know we're here?!" Gray whispered.

Natsu took his stance. "Get ready for a fight!" He said, but was stopped by Levi who turn to Alisa, Jusis and Emma as they look at each other nodded

And then came in now is Principal... I mean now... General Vandyke.

"Very well. Nurse, please let the gentleman in." Jusis replied

"W-Wait, are you sure about this?!" Juna whispered

"It's okay." Levi whisper in a smile. "He's someone we can trust."

"Very well. Right this way, sir." Cecile said as she open the door and came in was General Vandyck.

(BGM paused)

"It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, new Class VII and to your friends as well. I do hope you'll forgive me for barging in like this."General Vandyck said with a smile. "Heh, and if it isn't some of the old Class VII! My, how you've grown."

(Trails of Cold Steel III ost - Things to tell you)

"It's been too long, Principal." Jusis said.

"It's wonderful to see you again." Levi smiled

"P-Pleasure to make your acquaintance." Juna paused

"We've heard much about you." Kurt replied

"Come now, there's no need to be so nervous." Vandyck assured. "I've wanted to meet all of you for quite some time. Mm, you all have fire in your eyes. That's good. You remind me of young Schwarzer when he was a student. It's truly a shame he could not be here with us."

"Well damn. Someone's well informed." Ash said

"You were with the governor general earlier." Altina said. "You're the one in charge of the war with Calvard, so perhaps you know-"

"Unfortunately, I have no idea where he is. My role pertains solely to events on the surface. As per the orders...of Chancellor Giliath Osborne."

"The war with Calvard is now completely inevitable." Musse said. "And behind that is the thousand-year-old curse on the Empire. But despite all this, you're prepared to fulfill your duty?"

Vandyck nodded. "I am. Such is what it means to be a soldier. Even if the coming consumes the entire continent...even if it consumes the entire world. A soldier puts everything on the line for his country. Generals Craig and Vander hold the same convictions."

"I see, that may be the drive to become a soldier. But we'll show you that we're different." Levi said. "It's just like the Emperor said, we need to find our own path, and we will find it. And right now, our path leads to finding Rean and bringing him back to us. As long as we have faith in our goals and faith in ourselves, we will find the path that will one day put an end to the curse. On our honor as Class VII, both as graduates and students of Thors! As well as our friends."

Everyone else nodded in agreement.

"Exactly. We're not the type to be so easily dissuaded." Musse nodded

"Every step we take bears the hopes of His Majesty and all of our friends behind it." Kurt nodded

"I am certain those hopes will lead us to him." Altina nodded

"He's more than just the Ashen Chevalier. To us, he'll always be a member and Instructor of Class VII." Venti smiled

"Honestly, it's a total crapshot whether or not this'll actually get us anywhere." Ash said. "But if we managed tog et Schwarzer back, you can bet your as we're not just leaving things to him afterwards. That load is all of our to bears. We're findin' us a way through this shitstorm. And we're doin' it together."

"Well, would you look at that." Cecile smiled.

"There you have it, General-no, Principal Vandyck. This is who we are. This is Class VII." Jusis smiled

Vandyck chuckled. "Three years ago, the prince came to me with an idea. A seed from which Class VII would grow. But for it to have grown so determined, resilient, and strong...it has exceeded all my expectations. Speaking to you today has reminded me of that, and I am truly grateful."

"Thank you, General." Levi replied. "Forgive me for being selfish, but please don't tell Rufus we were here."

"Well, that went on far longer than expected. But I suppose it's no time wasted, so long as you find it worth the while." Doctor Seiland said. "In any case, I have a lot of work I need to get back to."

"Right. We won't keep you any longer. Thanks again!" Juna smiled.

"And good luck with the operation. Not that you need to hear it from me." Ash said.

"Hah... As a matter of fact, I don't. A medical professional never gives up, no matter how distant the hope. We'll do whatever we can. Now then. I wish you all the best." Doctor Seiland said before she walk away.

"Wow... Now THAT'S a doctor who's got it all!" Juna cheered

"No kidding. She certainly reminds me of a certain doctor back in the Mushroom Kingdom." Levi chuckled.

"The other nurses and I will be assisting Doctor Siland in any way that we can." Cecile smiled. "So don't worry about the operation. We'll make sure he pulls through."

"Agreed. The area is flushed with blue Pleroma Grass, making it our best candidate for the singularity at present." Altina agreed.

"Well if there were any places around here that screamed 'singularity' that would probably be it." Valerie nodded. "Be careful, guys. I'll stay behind to gather information, same as Louise and the others. Oh, Levi. Make sure Juna and the others don't get into too much trouble for me, okay?"

Levi chuckled. "You got it. Old or new, we're all in this together as Class VII."

"The wetlads of Lake Elm should be to the south of the hospital, down Ursula Road." Cecile told them "Take care on your journey, okay?"

The group leave the hospital and then walk back to Ursula Road where they spotted the road that leads to Lake Elm Wetlands where dozens of blue Pleroma Grass was present.

"Whoa, look at all the Pleroma Grass! They are blue." Goofy said in awe.

"It has an ethereal quality to it." Altina nodded

"It's so different compare to its black counterpart." Emma remark.

"You're right. I don't sense any malevolence coming within." Musse nodded

"The hell? You can pick up on somthin' like that?" Ash asked

"You'll pick up a lot of things when you're used to it."

"I'd heard something about colors representing different kings of mana before." Kurt recalled.

"Now that we're here. It's time to see if we can find that singularity." Levi said. "Come on." He said as they took off to the mystical forest, but as they got further, Levi spotted something up ahead. "Wait, everyone! Shush!" Levi whispered as he stepped them

"Wh-" Levi covered Natsu's mouth as he pointed. "-Mm?!"

The group spotted several IDF along with different Pokemon such as Watchog patroling the area.

"Rufus's IDF troops. So they're here?" Erza whispered as they hide.

"Why would Rufus's forces seal this place off?" Lucy whisper as she asked.

"Wait, look over there!" Kirito pointed in the distance where they spotted a stange black looking Panzer Soldot.

"A soldot?" Eugeo wondered

"I don't called seeing a type like this in the Intelligence Division's database." Altina told them.

"Must be a new model... however, that one is unsettling." Levi growled.

"I remember hearing RF was in the process of developing a new model. Could that be it?" Alisa wondered.

"Must be. Still, if they're here. It means something is going on here. We need to head back. Come on." Levi whispered and told the group as they leave the wetland.

"Uggh, now what do we do?" Juna groaned.

"I don't get why we don't fight our way though?" Natsu asked

"Because it will draw attention. Remember, we're suppose to be quiet about it." Gray answered.

"Yeah. I don't know if Rufus was aware or not, but why he blocked off the Wetland that also leads to Mishelam is a mystery." Levi said. "Something is without question going on behind the scene. And the singularity is indeed somewhere in the wetland. We need to find our way through." He said before he got a call. "Huh?" He pick up his ARCUS and answer. "Hello? This is Levi Sullivan speaking."

"Okay, looks like we're connected." A voice said.

Levi gasped. "I recognized that voice. Is that you Snart?"

"Yep. Mind putting me on video?" He asked as Levi did.

"Stark! You're okay." Venti said.

"Haha, hey there, Levi, Class VII and your friends. Sorry for calling you out of the blue like this." Stark replied. "I just made it to St. Ursala Hospital right now. Can I get you to come back and meet me?"

"Sure. We'll head there right away." Levi nodded as he ahng up. "Let's go." He said as they made their way back to St. Ursula's hospital where they look for Stark and found him nearby the lake with his Pokemon Psyduck, Vulpix, Growlithe, Ponyta and Kirlia and Valerie and her Pokemon. "Here there Stark."

"You're finally here. Sorry for calling you out like this." Stark apologized.

"Don't worry about us. Where have you been all this time?" Juna asked

"We all heard you're in Crossbell." Venti nodded

"I was collecting data from various regions and happened to catch wind of your exploits." Stark answered "Valerie and the others told me everything... Oh, and you're gonna need this."

Stark turn his back and see the Orbal Boat.

"An orbal boat?" Kurt asked.

"It would be impossible to break through the Imperial Defense Force head on." Stark said. "And riding up the shore in this thing's only going to attract more attention. But if you cross through Mishelam, then you might have a chance at breaking through the blockade."

"That's right. The south of Mishelam opens out into wetlands!" Juna nodded

"Oh, I get it now." Venti replied. "Instructor Rean would be impressed with that amount of detail."

"Nobody makes a plan like he does." Valerie said as Stark Pokemon agreed as his Ponyta link his cheek.

"Aww, that tickles Ponyta." Stark petting his Ponyta.

"Things are looking a bit more hopeful now, wouldn't you say?" Jusis smiled

"Yeah. Is everyone ready?" Levi asked as they nodded. "All right, we're ready Snark."

"Okay, get in." Stark nodded as the group begin to board the Orbal Boat.

"Take care, you guys." Valerie said

"It seems a certain governor general didn't return to the city, but went toward the wetlands. Be careful out there." Stark told them.

"Thank you two." Yui smiled.

"See you later!" Juna cheered as she got the boat running and took off.

"So I guess we should also look into the direction of the wetlands. Let's contact Louise and Freddy again." Stark said.

"Understood. leave it to me." Valerie nodded.

Unknown to everyone. On the roof of St. Ursula were a few people watching the group heading to Mishelam.

"Really? You sure you don't want to help him out?" Said a familiar man who look at her.

"Yes. He is more then capable of handling her. Besides, I have my own business to attend to." She said, drawing her sword. "I must return the love my lady has shown me, after all."

"Well if you say so. But try not to let your formal life get in the way."

"I can assure you, I left everything behind. I don't need you as a reminder."

"Getting a little touchy, are we? My apologizes."

"I see you two are having a good chat." A voice said as a big lug approach them. "Oh?" He turn to the direction where the group is. "Well, ain't this a sight. Should we give 'em the heads up?"

"No need. It would be rather boring if we just told them. Let them do what they want. I might have an inkling to why they're heading off to Mishelam."

"Okay, there isn't anything abnormality detected in the wetlands. We managed to escape unnotice." Yui told them

"This certainly is a lovely route Stark secured for us." Musse giggled.

"No kidding. Though I can't say the same for him." Gray turn to Natsu who is grumbling on the floor.

"Hang on." Wendy forward her arm. "Troia!" Wendy's hand glow with energy and went into Natsu as he got up.

"Woohoo! I'm free!" Natsu cheered

"So this detour leads to Mishelam, right?" Goofy asked.

"You got it!" Juna nodded

Emma giggled. "You guys never fail to impress. You must be quite proud, aren't you Levi?"

"Do you even have to ask?" Levi chuckled. "Each of them are incredible in their own ways. Our teachings and their capability has grown remarkable. As someone who works in the Branch Campus, I couldn't be more proud of all the students. They're just as a good as the main Campus students back then and now... if it weren't for Osborne and Cedric dark hearts..."

"No kidding. It's great to have so many friends who are amazing. I know we have." Sora smiled.

"Yeah. The world is full of incredible people. No matter the worlds they live in." Donald nodded

"Let's not forget their Instructors." Eugeo smiled. "It reminds me of that time in the Academy, right Kirito."

The group arrived at Mishelam as they dock the boat, and Levi use his magic to dry Sora up.

"Oh man... I can't believe I miss years of school! Oh I'm so dead!" Sora groaned.

"Bwhaahaha! Oh man. Sora, you are a wreck." Ash laughed

"Ash, please don't tease him." Kurt sighed.

"Don't worry about it Sora. I'm sure that you're fine." Emma patted his shoulder. "I mean, you basically graduated? Maybe?"

"Right. Don't worry about it Sora. I don't go to school because I was raised in the wild. But I did learn from my parents and I'm twelve years old." Wendy said

"Really? Huh. I guess that make you the youngest among the group." Altina mused.

"I hope so..." Sora scratch his cheek. "Nut in any case, we made it!"

"Yeah, and without trouble too." Donald nodded

"So this is it, then… Mishelam Wonderland, the amusement park of legend." Kurt said

"I can see something moving in the distance." Altina said as she look at the Ferris wheel.

"Oh. That's the ferris wheel." Juna explained. "It's got a bunch of gondolas you can sit and watch the scenery from."

"I see. That sounds as through it could be... fun. Objectively speaking."

"Oh-ho. So the little bunny knows what fun is, after all." Ash smirked

"I'm excited to sit and watch the scenery!" Venti cheered

"Attractions aside, we can't just loiter around here. We'll get spotted." Kurt stated

"Yeah. You're right. Let's go take a look inside Mishelam Center. It's just up ahead." Juna said.

The group begin to head into Mishelam Center. Old Class VII spotted some familiar faces entering a restaurant.

'Huh? Was that...?' Levi thought as Altina look around.

"It is busier in here than I had expected." Altina remark.

"Right? You'd never imagine a war was about to start. Then again, I guess there are some people in uniform milling around." Juna comment

"Because of the war is about to start." Erza said. "Perhaps they've given out complimentary tickets to soldiers upon conscription."

"It wouldn't be surprising if they didn't." Goofy said. "I mean, they are spending their time with their loves one before shipped off to war."

"Yeah. But not just that..." Alisa fold her arm. "The Empire wants to show it can keep day-to-day life going, even in times of war. It's more of a PR power play than anything else."

"Does it really go that deep?" Juna wondered.

They're trying to stoke national pride... is that it?" Kurt asked

"It wouldn't surprise me if it did. After all. It all being done for the sake of the war." Levi nodded as they all got to thinking."

"Well in any case, we should focus on gathering information." Lucy said.

"Your father is employed somewhere around here, right Juna?" Venti asked.

Juna nodded. "Yep. He works for the resort hotel. Planning, zoning... that sorta stuff. If anyone knows a good route to the wetland, it's probably him."

"Then let's go find your dad." Donald nodded.

The group begin to head to Hotel Delphinia by going upstairs to the sign that said the name of the hotel and ask the manager behind the counter.

"Welcome. Do you have a reservation?"

"No. I wanted to talk to my father. Is Matthew Crawford available?" Juna asked

"Mr. Crawford from planning? So you're the daughter he spokes so fondly of! I'm afraid you came at a bad time."

"Huh? Why?"

"We have had more guests in Mishelam than we expected over the past few days. The planning director has been busy checking on our various facilities. He's probably out on an inspection right now."

"I see...'

'So it isn't due to the threat of war, but because there is a sudden influx of visitors?' Kurt thought.

Manager Hagger sighed. "I'm sorry I cannot help you, but I can contact you as soon as he returns."

"That would be great! Thanks so much!" Juna smiled as the group gather up.

"Okay, so what should we do now?" Sora asked.

"Should we plan on waiting?" Eugeo asked.

"Or find a direct route to the wetlands ourselves?" Gray asked.

Juna hummed. "I've been to Mishelam a lot, but... I never once heard about any wetlands close by. It was probably so guests wouldn't wander into trouble."

"Then we should ask Mr. Crawford about it ourselves." Jusis fold his arm.

"Yeah, my dad's been working here since day one."

"In that case, we better find your father then." Carla said. "But we need to be systematic about it in the search. This is a large area, after all."

"In that case, we should look into the shops!" Lucy said, clapping her hands.

They begin to leave the hotel and made way toward Cendrillion and Colsericia Boutique but none of them had Juna's father in. They headed to Resturantant Fortuna as they walk a little further.

"Is this really happening?!"

Then they heard a voice said as they turn their heads and see a girl and a military soldier on the table

"Em, i'm sorry. I didn't mean to shout." She said. "But are you sure, Alan?"

"I've never been more sure." Alan answered with a smile. "I know we talked about it sixth months ago, but I wanted to make it official."

"If I make it through this war. Bridget... Will you marry me?"

"Oh, Alan." Bridget smiled "Of course...Of course, I will!"

"So it was him..." Levi whispered. "Come on. Let's find a seat." He told the others as they gathered in their seats.

"But I'm so worried. An all-out war with Clavard's going to be terrible. Are General Craig and Lieutenant Colonel Neithardt being careful enough?" Bridget asked.

Alan nodded though he look unsatisfied. "Yeah. If you ask me, they're being TOO careful..."

"Huh?"

"You don't need to worry. The Imperial Army is definitely superior, so everything will be just fine." Alan smiled. "If it comes down to it, our thanks and Panzer Soldoats will easily crush the Republic's forces! Don't you worry, Bridget. I'll protect you."

"Alan..." Briget look upset.

"Oh! I'm sorry. I need to make my regular call in. You should go back to the hotel. I'll be there shortly."

"All right..." Bridget said as Alan got up and leave the restaurant.

"He changed after the military parade in the capital." Bridget answered with a sad look. "He just wasn't acting like himself at first, but as the days went by, he became more interested in war. I wasn't expecting this 'curse' to be responsible for it, though..."

"Of course it's that damn curse..." Levi grumbled.

"Habe you been in contact with any other alumni?" Altina asked

"Yes. Edel and the others told me all about you. But I haven't been in contact with Mint, Vivi, or Patrick." Bridget answered

"It seem very strange that we have no information on them." Kurt rub his chin.

"But they're all graduates of Thors. They'll be okay. Just like I know Rean is." Alisa said.

Bridget nodded. "You're right. We have to remain hopeful. I just pray that Alan will go back to the way he was."

"Hello? Oh, Alan? No, I'm okay. I was just taking the long way back. I'll be there soon." She said as she hang up. "I'm going back to the hotel. Good luck, Class VII and friends. I know that you'll find Rean."

"Thanks. Keep your chin up, okay?" Levi smiled

"I will, thanks. I better get going." Bridget smiled as she got up and left.

"So your friend is under the influence of the curse." Eugeo said, looking sad. "I've notice many people who feel victim to it, they became more interested in the war."

"I was able to dispel the curse with my powers." Levi place his hand on his hip. "And yet makes me wonder why I'm capable of it. I just wish Grandfather, Mother and my Aunts tell me why though. And what so special about it."

"But on the bright side. At least we know Juna's father is here." Happy said. "He's somewhere on the theme park somewhere. We should head over there. Though It also could be crowded."

"Right. But if we think about it logically, finding him shouldn't be too hard." Juna pointed out.

"Then let's go and meet this guy already." Natsu smirked as they took off to Mishelam Theme Park as they turn a left turn and just enter it.

They begin to purchase Ticket in the booth so they can step in without any problems.

"Wow! So this is the famous Mishelam theme park!" Lucy cheered.

"Oh it would be a great place for us to go and have fun! But sadly, we're not here for that case." Yui sighed

"Don't worry, Yui. We'll go once we have the chance and when this war is over." Kirito smiled.

"Yeah. I agree." Juna nodded

"Okay so what do we go from here?" Sora asked "Which is the best place to start?"

"Well, I can see the ferris wheel, Horror Castle, and Castle of Mirrors from here, for starters." Juna said. "All three rides are pretty popular, so there's a good chance Dad might be helping out at one of them."

"Okay, then we should look into one of those areas. But we must be caution on not drawing attention to yourselves. You better behave yourself Natsu."

"Oh come on!" Natsu grumbled.

"Juna, if you would?" Kurt smiled

"Sure thing! Just call me your personal tour guide!" Juna giggled as they walk ahead and spotted the Mishelam flower bed.

"Wow! Look at this!" Sora said. "It look just like... um... what was his name?"

"Mishy... I think." Donald answered.

"They did an amazing job organizing him in a flower bed." Goofy smiled.

"Doesn't it?" Juna giggled. "These flower change color with the seasons, so it ends up looking different everytime you come."

"Meh. It could make a halfway-decent photo, at least." Ash said

"Then without delay. Allow me." Musse pull out her ARCUS and snap a picture. "Lovely! Now, let's send this to Rex." She then begin to contact him. "Hello Rex! We got a picture that you might like~"

"Ooh. In that case, let's see." Rex said as Musse send it to him. "Wow! A Mishy flower bed! Nice! Here's a lit' somethin' for your trouble." He said and he send a picture of Sully in her dancer uniform. "Later!"

"I wonder how that pervert managed to get a picture like that upclose..." Levi sighed.

They headed to the Ferris wheel area.

"So this is the ferris wheel. It is much larger up close." Altina mused.

"There's a great view from the top." Juna smiled before she clapped her hands. "When Mishelam's all lit up at night, the view is sooo romantic!"

"Oh really? In that case, Altina, would you like to ride the ferris wheel with me." Venti wink.

"I might considered." Altina casually wrap her hands behind her back.

"What about you, Juna? Would you be interested?" Kurt asked.

"You mean going it with you?" Juna asked as she blushed a bit. "Yeah, of course!"

They begin to look around the ferris wheel area before they heard a man talking to himself.

"I got on by myself to kill some time. It was a very quaint experience. This will be a great inspiration for my next composition."

"Heh, you must know all about that, huh?" Ash whisper to Juna.

"Oh, shut up. The view's great, so I don't see why riding alone's such a bad thing!" Juna glared at Ash in a whisper.

"Ahaha..." Eugeo nervous laugh.

"Hm?" Levi thought. 'Why does he feel... familiar?' He thought

The man spotted them. "Oh! Aren't you those students from the other day?"

"Oh, we've met before!" Musse recalled

"You helped us look for the pirate treasure, yes?" Altina asked.

"Oh so that's why he look familiar." Levi mused. 'But his presence was awfully familiar back then...' "Your name is... Aleister, the composer, if I recall."

"Wasn't expecting to meet an Imperial noble in a place like this." Kurt admit.

"I'm surprised to be meeting an old friend who lives far from here. We choose this as the best place to meet just before the war. But what brings you all here?" Aliester asked

"We're looking for my father. Have you see him? He look like this." Juna show him the picture in her ARCUS.

"Why yes! That kind gentleman only just assisted me. I got lost looking for the meeting spot, and this gentleman gave me directions. But he left straight away, and I'm afraid I didn't see which direction he was headed."

"He seems quite busy. We'll have to hurry if we want to catch up to him." Kurt said.

"Well, I don't know what you need him for, but I hope you find him soon." Aleister smiled. "It's always nice to see young people throw themselves into their work. May I used you all as inspiration for my next composition?"

"No thanks." Levi sweatdrop. "But thanks for your help. Hope your friend made it here." He said as they took off to the Horror Coaster, unknownly Aleister let out a mysterious smirk.

"Simpel. You get in the car, ride through the villa, and blast all the ghost that jump out at you." Juna answered "They've got some scares in there, but you can ride it as many times as you want, if you beating high scores is your kinda things."

"You wouldn't think it will a home for ghost Pokemon, right?" Venti asked.

"I... hope not."

"Heh! That's sounds EXACTLY my kinda thing." Ash smirked

"It's both a game and a ride in one, then." Altina remark.

"Almost like a shooting competition of sorts." Musse giggled.

Juna giggled. "I just remembered. Elie doesn't do too hot with spooky things like this. Didn't get to ride it with her last time, though. It'd be nice to come back with her someday... and with the rest of the SSS, too."

"The opportunity will surely present itself... But for now, let's continue asking around." Musse said as they go toward to the haunted mansion... only to see a familiar face burst out the door.

Anton let out a heavy panted twice. "Oh, Goddess...! I thought I was gonna die in there! M-Maybe going in alone wasn't the best of ideas... That thing was really meant for two people..."

"Well look who's here." Levi blink. "Nice to see you again Anton."

"Oh! It's you guys! Wow... Fancy seeing you here!"

"Who's this guy?" Natsu asked

"He's Anton. He's from Liberl. I take it you're still searching for your special someone?" Levi asked.

"Yep. I was searching all over for her when I happened upon a lead." Anton nodded. "Then I hopped on a train bound for Crossbell and ended up here."

I heard what went down over at Titius Fate. You got some balls. I'll give you that." Ash said

"But why would you go on the Horror Coaster all be yourself?" Venti asked.

"Well... I thought I saw her go in. The woman I'm looking for, I mean. Turns out it was just some other purple-haired lady... But by the time I realized, it was too late to turn back, so I ended up on the ride, anyway." He groaned. "It was just awful... I couldn't find her anywhere, and then this military couple started picking a fight with me in line. It's a good thing that Staff member stepped in. I dunno what I'd have done without him. He was so nice about it, too."

"Wait. Hold on a sec..." Juna pull out her ARCUS unit. "This wouldn't happen tobe him would it?" She show him the picture.

"Yeah, that's the guy! Honestly, he looked way too busy to be spending his time bailing out some Liberlian he'd never met. But you know what he said? He said there was no such thing as borders here in Mishelam... I just about burst into tears!"

"Wow, what a great guy." Sora smiled.

"I've never met him, but that does sounds like something Juna's father might say." Altina comment.

"I can definitely vouch for that." Juna giggled. "Do you know where he went after that?"

"Sorry... It was too dark for me to tell." Anton answered "He seems to have been jumping all over the park, so he's probably someplace else by now."

"Probably, yeah. We should get going. Take care Anton." Levi said as they took off toward the Castle of Mirror.

"Wow. So this place is called the Castle of Mirrors?" Asuna asked.

"Yep!" Juna nodded. "They actually just finished renovating it, so I haven't been able to see inside yet. Apparently, they moved the fortune-telling over to here. People say it's the real deal."

"Perhaps we could have divine the location of Juna's father for us, then." Musse wink.

"Hmm..." Levi rub his chin. "Makes me wonder if she's here..." Levi said as they go in. "Well this is a large number of crowds."

"Mostly woman." Gray said.

"Well, yeah. It IS fortune-telling. The woman around here love that sort of thing." Juna said. "This is the first time I've tried it since it was renovated, but the fact that it's this popular t must mean..."

"That this fortune-teller must be good! Like a certain astrologist we know. Let's go in!" Musse said as talk to the staff.

"Welcome to the Castle of Mirrors!" The Staff greeted. "After wakjung through the mysterious corridors of mirrors, you can enjoy the park's famous fortune-telling! Do you, too, want to lose yourself in the world of profound mystery?"

"We do." Juna answered. "Is it all right for all of us to go in?"

"All twenty four of you? No problem! I'll call you all once it's your turn, so please wait here for now." She said as they waited for a while until a few customers are gone. "Okay, you can come in now!" She alerted the group. "Enjoy your time!"

(Trails of Cold Steel III ost - Between the Forgotten Phantasm −Sen Ver.−)

The group enter the Castle of Mirror where they go to the hallways where they saw the mysterious mystical atmosphere display with star hangers and black mirrors but they can see glowing veriosn of themselves

"Oh, wow! And I thought that guy back in Pi'illo Island has big mirrors but wow!"

"Wow it certainly has the magical atmosphere in place!" Asuna cheered.

"How many magical places are we going to end up?" Ash sighed.

"Do you really have to ask such a ridiculous question, Ash?" Venti asked "I have to admit through, they really know their style."

"Indeed. I certainly wasn't expecting something like this. We should try and enjoy ourselves, but we can't forget why we're here." Kurt reminded.

"Yes, yes, we'll have our fun in moderation." Musse smiled. "We should head towards the fortune-teller." She said as they begin to walk up the stairs and go around in circles, climbing up the stairs until they reach the fortune-teller's room.

"Heh heh heh, I sense you were to approach soon." A voice said as it reveal to be Beryl with her three Pokemon with her.

Levi sweatdrop. "Yep. I knew it. I had a gut feeling that you going to be here Beryl

"Perhaps it was the will of fate that allowed us to meet again, heh heh heh." Beryl chuckled, causing the group to sweatdrop.

"Right. So everyone who hasn't met her, this is Beryl. She's also one of Thors graduates."

"And formal head of the Occult Research Society." Beryl added.

"Um... is she a witch like you Emma?" Asuna asked

"No, I ask my Grandmother. She said Beryl has nothing to do with us. Though she is acquainted with Mona." Emma answered.

"Yep. But you knew we were coming as usual?" Levi asked

"Of course. Our pink-haired friend is looking for her father, is she not?" Beryl asked

"Th-That's right. Can you read my fortune?!" Juna asked

"It would be my pleasure. Let us take a look at what the future holds for all of you."

Then Berly use her divination as her orb glows.

"Aha! It's all unfurled before me here now. You will have three encounters within MWL before you will reunited with your father. I am likely one of those encounters. With this, you have experienced all three encounters. You must wait for the right time now. Worry not, your reunion is close at hand. That is all I have to say."

"A fated reunion..." Kurt trailed off.

"And three encounters leading up to it, hm?" Musse paused

Ash sighed. "This is why I hate this occult staff. They never just tell us straight up!"

"Heh heh heh, if I say any more, it would be considered excessive interference with the thread of fate... Fortune-telling is merely a prediction... It cannot decide your future. Mona knows this as an astrologist. What you clean from it depends solely on you."

"Depends on us." Altina asked

"I see..." Levi rub his chin.

"Heh heh heh, I am nothing more than an idle spectator of the strands of fate. However, as an alumnus of Thors myself, I do wish to cooperate with you as much as fate allows. That remains the truth." Beryl said

"So you'll help us?"

"Yes, I wish to help both new and old Class VII, Rean, and the others as well. That has not changed since my time as a student. I hope you will visit me again if you once again find questions plaguing your thoughts... I cannot wait to see what path fate will lead you down."

"Okay, that was rather weird." Sora said.

"But it was like she could see everything." Donald said.

"That's Beryl for you guys. Still, it's good to hear she'll still help us as a member of Thors."

"Hm, though there are some things I'm curious about, I think we may be able to trust her." Jusis said. "I do hope I'll get to learn more about her in the future."

"Well at least we know we'll find Juna's father now that we met all these three encounters." Donald said

"Right! Let's get moving." Juna nodded as they move out.

They begin to head to the center plaza where they encounter an event.

"It's gotten a lot busier here all of the sudden." Kurt remark.

"Must because of that of that cat in the center." Kirito pointed

Juna gasped. "No way! It is that time already!?"

"Time for what?" Yui asked

"Meeheehee! Is everyone having a fantastically fun time already?" Mishy asked, and the response are varies of cheers. "Wowee! Everyone's in such a good mood! And that puts Mishy in a good mood, too! What do you say we keep things rolling and start our afternoon show?"

"Oh, brother... Mishy! What do you think you're doing?!" A voice yelled as a pink Mishy rush over and bunk into Mishy with a flip.

"Mee-hee-huh?! I-If it isn't Mishette!"

"That's what you get for forgetting about little ol' meeheehee! AND for acting all fross! Wirh that spooney look on your face those freaky brows on your head!"

The man next to her nodded in agreement. "That's right. You really know your stuff, young lady. Mo matter how dark things may get, Mishy will always be Mishy. A smiling dace ready to offer Crossbell a little light. But whoa, am I ever glad the show started on time."

"Huh?" Juna turn and the man turn and both of them look surprised. "Dad?!"

"Ju-Juna?!"

"Wait, this is your father?" Levi blink. "I guess a certain fortune teller was right... again." He said, causing Ash to groan while the others sweatdrop on his response.

"Well, I'm glad you finally found him." Kurt smiled.

"Haha. What a surprise! What brings you here?" Matthew asked. "And It seems you've brought your friends, too! Wait, is that a walking duck and... dog?" He referring to Donald and Goofy.

"Ah-hyuck! Yep, that's us." Goofy chuckled.

"Wow! I know there are some new individuals but never thought I meet a talking dog! Oh, could this be what they call demi-human?"

"Sure, let's call it that." Donald said.

"Dad! We need looking for you! Can we talk for a bit?" Juna asked

"Of course. Please follow me." Matthew said as they go to the Ferris wheel area and took a seat in the seating area. "Okay, what do you want to talk about?"

"Well, there's a lot to cover. But you see, we been hoping to find you because we wanted to ask about if you know of a way to the Wetlands." Juna answered

"The wetlands? Why would you want to go there?" Matthew asked

"Well, this is the long story part. But mostly it's to find our Instructor. You know, the one I mentioned in the letters and available calls? He was kidnapped and we're looking too find him and rescue him. Me, my classmates, our Class Assistant, Levi and my friends have been through one crazy battle that exhausted us and pass out for two weeks."

"Two weeks?!"

"Yeah. After we woke up, we been training to regain our strength back. We been going all over the Empire to find a singularity. It's difficult to explain, but basically, it's a key to find our Instructor. We guess the singularity is located in the Wetland, but the Governor General forces had the place on lockdown and we can't get through. So we had to go visit Mishelam and find you."

"I see..." Matthew rub his chin. "I think. Boy you tell me some crazy story. It's hard to keep up. But that's what happened when I was too busy to take my calls. Still, I'm glad you're back, Juna. Your mom must be relieved, too."

"Thanks. You're looking well, too, Dad. I'm sorry to make you worry all the time."

"It's okay. You're here now. And me, your mom, Ken, Nana, and our new Pokemon too. We all know you'd come back." Matthre smiled. "I know my Juna can look after herself."

"Dad! You're embarrassing me..." Juna scratch her hair.

Matthew turn to Levi. "And you must be Levi, correct? Boy, Juna wasn't kidding that you were handsome."

Levi chuckled. "I get that a lot."

"I would like to thank you for taking care of my Juna and helping her regain her strength. Looks like she even learn a few new tricks too."

"It was my pleasure to watch Juna grow. She truly is a rising star. In fact, Juna help me a lot. More then I can count. If anything I owe her a lot."

"Levi, you're making me feel embarrassed." Juna scratch her cheek.

"Haha. I only speak the truth." Levi smiled before turning to Matthew. "But I'm sure you understand the situation we're in. Mr. Crawford, do you know of any routes we can take to get to the wetlands?"

"Ah yes, there's an area marked for development of the Mishelam Resort." Matthew replied. "We received a memo from the governor general's office that the place was out of bounds. Even people who work in the resort aren't permitted to go near it."

"I see." Kurt said.

"This whole seems pretty fishy to me." Ash added.

"I don't know anything for certain, but I'm sure it's not a safe place. Are you still planning to go?" Matthew asked.

"Yes. we are." Juna replied confidently. "We have the strength and resolve to overcome any danger. And we WILL get Instructor Rean back. And Crossbell. I believe that it's connected to where the Empire's headed."

"Juna..." Levi smiled

If that's the case, take it." Matthew then gave her a keycard. "The door that takes you to the wetlands is located at the tip of Lakeside Beach. This should open the door."

"Thanks, Dad!"

Matthew then hugged Juna. "Oh, Juna. You've been stubborn as a mule ever since you were a little girl. You just go wherever your heart would take you, be it the police academy or Erebonia. But that's what makes you the wonderful young woman you are. The one your friends rely on. The one who won't let anything stop her. I only pay that Aidios will keep my darling daughter safe."

Juna hugged back as she sob a bit. "Thanks..."

"Having such a lovely family is a real blessing." Musse whisper.

"Yes. I must admit, I'm a little jealous." Altina whisper.

They pulled away and Matthew bowed at the group. "Everyone, please look after Juna for me."

Altina nodded. "Got it!"

"You can count on us." Kurt replied.

"I mean, it's Juna, so it won't be easy, but I'll try." Ash remark

"Hey! Watch your mouth, Ash!" Juna pouted

"All right everyone, Let's go. Time to head up the beach and find that door." Levi declared.

"Yeah!" Everyone nodded and made their way to the Beach while Matthew took off for work.

But on their way, they notice a trouble-looking couple.

"I could tell he was upset, but..." The red hair woman frown.

"I know what you're thinking. We should have been looking after him better. However, we can reflect on what happened later. He doesn't seem to be at the Ferris wheel, so let's look elsewhere."

"What's up with Harold and his wife?" Juna wondered

"You know them?" Levi asked.

"Yeah, the SSS help them out with their son and they help the SSS out a few times." Juna nodded before noice their son isn't with them. "Oh, it looks like Colin's missing."

Harold then notices Juna and the others. "Juna, everyone..."

"Hey there Mr. Hayworth. Did Colin ran off again?"

"Yes. We were holdings hands when he yanked himself free and ran off. It was so sudden. We lost right of him. We've been looking everywhere for him and Poilwag."

"What?!" Juna gasped. "W-We can help you look!"

"I won't lie... That would be great, but you look busy enough as it is. Ooh, maybe we should consider finding a Pokemon who can fly in the air to help us Harold."

"Yes. I was already considering it." Harold sighed.

"We'll find him in no time. Don't worry about us!"

"But..." Juna trailed off

"But it's very crowded in the park. Finding him will be harder." Wendy told the group.

"Indeed. We should help them look for Colin." Lucy nodded

"It seems we're all in agreement then." Musse giggled.

"Yeah. Don't worry, we got time to help! We'll help find your kid!" Natsu said.

"Oh Everyone, thank you!" Harold said, bowing to the group.

"You'd do the same for us if we were in trouble." Juna smiled. "Do you have any idea why Colin ran off?"

"Yes, today is our last family trip before I set off for the front line. This evening, I have to present myself at the conscription office for the draft."

"Oh so that explains it..." Lucy sadden.

"Of course it's that..." Levi grumbled. "It must have weighting heavily on Colin's mind. Any child who doesn't want their father be shipped off to war because... well..."

"Yeah. That's why I didn't want to bring it up. We have so little time as a family left." Sophia sadden. "I just thought we could come here and make some happy memories that nothing could take from him. I think I just pushed it too much, and all of those unspoken grievances just came out."

"I can imagine it." Yui sighed. "Do you know which way he went off?"

"As soon as we got into the park, he just ran off into the crowd. We don't know whether he's still in the park or if he went back to the center. " Harold answered "We didn't know what to do, so we started searching through the crowds here."

"Got it. You keep looking here, then." Juna said. "We'll go and check out the center."

"Thank you."

"Yes, thank you, everyone!" Sophia bow.

"I wonder if it's okay to search for Colin in the air..." Levi wondered.

"In that case, we'll do that!" Natsu smirked. "Happy!"

"Aye sir!" Happy flew up and took Natsu and flew up.

"Natsu wait!" Lucy yelled but took late.

"That idiot. He doesn't know what Colin look like." Ash sighed.

"That's Natsu for you." Gray sighed. "You don't think he'll get into trouble, will he?"

"Nah. My Dad mentioned he witnessed mages from different countries all over the world use magic to fly around and ride flying Pokemon to get around. So it should be okay since magic is literally part of daily life now."

"Ahaha. I can imagine that." Emma scratch her cheek. "So what does Colin look like?"

"Well he looks after me. He has my hair. He's ten years old." Sophia answered

"Got it." Levi nodded. "Let's go ask any firsthand people witnesses about Colin's whereabouts. Hopefully, we can find him before Natsu so we can wack him in the head. I just hope he doesn't call out Colin's name in the air. That would draw too much attention to himself."

"Oh trust me. He would do that." Lucy sighed. "I just hope Happy tells him that."

"Come on. Let's go find Colin!" Wendy said as they took off.

They arrived at the plaza where they saw Mattew.

"Hey, Dad!" Juna call out as they approach him.

"Hey Juna. You guys seem a but flustered. Is everything all right?" Matthew asked

"Not really. Could we ask you about something?" Juna based as her father nodded. "We're looking for Colin. He's Harold and Sophia's son. He ran away into the crowds."

"I see..." Matthew rub his chin. "I'll go have them make an announcement on the PAs. "Finding him should take us no time at all, once the whole staff is aware."

"Actually, would you mind holding off for now? We're gonna try looking for Colin ourselves, first. Something's gotten him real upset... Making a big fuss out of it might just make things worse."

"I see... All right, then. But don't hesitate to let me know if you can't find him soon."

"We will, thanks!" Juna nodded as they talk to the nearby MWL staff. "Excuse me? I was wondering if you would help us with something?"

"Of course! What do you need help with?" The MWL staff asked

"We're looking for Colin. He's a 10 year old boy with red hair. He took off from his mother and father who are looking for him. He ran off with a Poilwag."

"Hm... Well, a lot of people pass through this way, so I can't be entirely sure... But I did see a young boy running off with a Poliwag running off on their own toward Mishelam Center earlier."

"I see, thanks for the help!" Altina nodded.

"There's a high chance that the boy in question may have been Colin." Musse said.

"Right. Let's head to Mishelam Center and ask anyone there." Erza nodded as they took off to Mishelam Center.

As they arrived, they look around and ask some people around, avoiding soldiers attention and then Juna asked a guy who is sitting on the bench.

"Excuse me, can you help us with something?" Juna asked

"Hmm? What is it?"

"We're looking for a boy name Colin. He's ten years old and has red hair. He ran off with a Poilwag. Have you seen him?"

"Hm... Yes, I do believe I saw this boy and the Poilwag you're looking for. He came running from the theme park, heading in this direction." He pointed to the direction. "I told him that this way led to the villa, and that it certainly wasn't a place for children to be playing. After, he turned around and barrelled away in the opposite direction. Now that I think about it, he did seem rather upset. Perhaps this runs deeper then some mere game."

"I see, thanks for all the help!" Juna smiled as they took off.

"At least we know it's Colin. And now we have the location." Yui said. "The opposite direction is the beach and the train station."

"Yeah. Come on. Let's go." Kirito noddd as they took off to the receptionist hall where they talk to the receptionist.

"Excuse me. Sorry, could I ask you a quick question?" Juna asked the receptionist.

"Of course, how may I help?"

"We're looking for Colin. He's a little boy about ten years old and he has red hair. He ran here with a Poilwag."

"I think I saw the boy you're looking for with the Poliwag with him run right out that door to the beach. He looked just about ready to burst into tears any second... I figured he must have been lost. I was just about to go and look for him myself... Are you his guardians perhaps?"

"We are, yes." Levi nodded. "Let's head to the beach." He said as they took off to the beach.

As they arrived, they can see how beautiful the beach is.

"Woooow! The beach look absolutely beautiful!" Lucy cheered

"So this must be Lakeside Beach." Musse smiled.

"Can't wait to see some babes in their bekinis." Ash smirked.

"That small island over there make for a nice picture." Altina pointed.

"You could call this one of the jewels of the Mishelam resort, right along with its theme park." Juna smiled. "I heard they brought the sand all the way here from the East. That's quite something."

"That's quite something." Kurt mused.

"We seen some lovely beaches ourselves during our travels." Musse said.

"This doesn't seem like the time to be borrowing a swimsuit, though." Emma remark.

"A short walk along the beach couldn't do any harm." Alisa said.

"Yes. But remember that Colin is also somewhere around here. We should look around." Jusis told them as they began to wander around for a bit before Eugeo spotted a branch area nearby and they took a look and see Colin on the bench with his Poliwag.

"Poli..." Poliwag respond to Sad Colin.

"Ah, found him. Let me take it from here." Juna said with a warm smile as she approached the bench and sit next to him. "So this is where you were, Colin."

"Juna..." Colin lifted his head to turn to her.

"Your mom and dad have been really worried, you know. So how about you tell us why you disappeared like that?

"Um, well..." Colin sighed as he look at Poliwag in front of him. "I get that you must have come to look for me, but..." He look at the view in front of him. "I'm sorry... I don't wanna go back. I can't."

(BGM paused)

"Colin... Is this all about your dad leaving for the war?" Juna asked

Colin shook his head. "No. I know I can't do anything about that.

"I just wanted to encourage him." Colin pick up Poliwag and petted him. "He's gonna be a soldier, and that means he's gonna have to fight people in the war. He won't stay it to me, but I know he must be unhappy about it. I just want him to know that he needs to come back home safe to us no matter what."

"Poliwag..." Poliwag respond with a sad look.

"I know Poliwag... It's just, I don't know how to say any of that to Papa. And now I've got just today before he's gonna leave for the frontline. I don't want us to say goodbye like this... S-So, when I couldn't figure out what to do at all, I just ran away."

"So that is what this is about..." Levi sighed.

"Guess this isn't just some rebellious phase." Ash grumbled.

"There are still plenty of ways to show how much your father means to you." Musse replied

Juna think for a moment until she got an idea. "Hey, Colin. Why don't you give your dad a charm to protect him?" She suggest, causing Colin to turn to her. "I think that'll let him know just how much you love him and want him to come home safe and sound."

"But I don't have any mira or a lot of time. How can I make a charm?" Colin asked

Juna begin to think for a moment. 'Hm... I'm sure we can do something... What sort of charm you could find in Mishelam that doesn't require Mira...' Then she got it. 'A whitestone!' "Colin, could you come with us for a while? I think I know just a thing." Juna got up. "Come on guys! Let's go to the beach."

Juna drag everyone to the Beach.

"Okay, why'd you drag us over to the beach?" Ash asked.

"I think it has something to do with the protective charm?" Yui guessed

Juna nodded "That's right~ There's a rare stone on this beach that's made for a great charm! It's called a 'Whitestone'. It's really beautiful, and not your everyday sort of gift, so I think it'd be perfect to give to Mr. Hayworth!"

"Oh, I think I know what you're talking about. KeA has one that she keeps close to her. That's gotta be the right lucky charm for Papa!" Colin smiled. "Poliwag can help find some hidden in the water.

"Then it's decided. Let's begin the search for that stone." Emma smiled

"Colin's parents will be looking for him, so we don't have much time." Kurt said.

"Don't forget about Natsu as well... wonder did he ran off too." Lucy wondered.

"I must say, I'm curious to see if this stone is as beautiful as you say, Juna." Musse giggled.

"Sounds like a waste of time if you ask me, but I'll tag along with you." Ash sighed but let out a soft smile.

"Let's split up then everyone. Let's go!" Levi smiled. "Oh! And be careful for Sandygast and Polossand. Espcually Polossand. That Pokemon is known for as the 'Beach Nightmare'. It love to attack and eat small Pokemon and children as it's prey and can control the sand itself."

Juna gasped "Oh you're right! There was an incident like that before! We need to be on the lookout for them in case if another one appears."

"Lucky, Poliwag is a water type so it's super effective against it." Colin said. "But let's go!"

Everyone begin to split up for the search of the Whitestone. Literally shortly after.

"Poli! Poliway! Poliway!" Colin's Poliway yelled to catch attention as it held its head a Whitestone.

"Juna! Poliwag found a Whitestone!" Colin called out as everyone regroup. "Great job Poliwag!" Colin takes the stone, picks up Poliwag and cuddles it.

"Woow! It's absolutely sparking! Like a gemstone!" Asuna smiled.

"You think this tiny stone is enough?" Kirito asked

"I think this size is perfect. It means Papa will be able to carry it with him wherever he goes." Colin answered

Juna nodded. "Yeah. I agree with you on that. So, how about we go find your dad, now?"

"Okay!"

And so the group begin to head back to MWL again with Colin where they look around and then eventually found them in the Castle of Mirrors.

"Colin!" Sophia yelled as she and Harold ran to the group. "Oh Colin, there you are!"

"Papa... Mama... Sorry for just running away like that... I know how upset it'd make you, too..." Colin look down.

"It's all right, Colin... Everything's all right." Harold said with a soft smile.

"We're the ones who should have talked to you properly about your fears." Sophia sadden before letting out a warm smile. "We'll make sure we do from here on. We may not have much time left together as a family... but we do have today."

"I know..." Colin smiled. "By the way... Poliwag and I brought something. Here Papa. We want you to have it." He pull out the Whitestone.

"Is this... a Whitestone?" Harold asked as he take the stone. "I heard you could find these over by the lake, but... aren't they supposed to be considered rare?"

"It is! But me, Poliwag and Juna managed to find one together! I was thinking you could take it with you as a lucky charm."

"A lucky charm?" Sophia asked

"You've gonnta be scared about going to war, right, Papa?" Colin asked with a sad look. "If I had to go, I would've spent every day crying over it. But you don't. You always stay strong for me and Mama. I wanna stay strong for you, too. So every time you feel lonely or afraid, you can look at that stone and think of us. That way, no matter how far you are, we'll always be right there next to you."

"Oh Colin..." Harold tears begin to come out.

"Heehee! I've been trying to tell you all of that for a while! I haven't been doing a very good job of it until now, though... I just kept holding it in, instead..."

"Oh. Colin... You're such a thoughtful boy... Thank you for this."

"I couldn't have put his sentiments any better myself." Sophia smiled as she turn to her husband. "You suffer more than either of us... Yet still you soldier through it all."

"Sofia..." Harold wipe his tears. "It's all right. I know you'd have understood had I just been honest. I'd merely wanted to put on a brace face for the both of you. Haha... Reminds me of that time we met Poliwag, doesn't it? When Colin wander off again and fell into the water and Poliwag came to the rescue."

"Hehe.. It does."

"Poliwag!" Poliwag cheered with a smile.

"What a touchy scene..." Levi whisper in a smile, noticing Juna is wiping her tears as Kurt comfort her.

"Thank you, everyone." Harold turn to the group. "Not only did you find Colin, you helped him gave me something very special."

"We will never be able to thank you all enough." Sophia smiled as she was lost in thought. "Come to think of it. Before that time Poliwag rescue Colin a year ago... There was another time our Colin went missing, two years ago. We truly are blessed by the people we know."

"Ah, yes... Back when the Special Support Section assisted us." Harold smiled.

"I had a feeling it might be them..." Juna smiled

"They weren't alone though. They had someone else to assist them as well, though Sophia and I have yet to meet her in person."

"You mean that girl who save me, right? The one with purple hair, just like yours! I hope I get to see her again someday." Colin smiled

"So she had purple hair, too, huh?" Juna wondered. "That's one heck of a coincidence..."

Harold nodded. "Indeed it is. But all that side... Thank you once again. For everything."

"Yes. It's because of you that what little time we have left together can be spent in good spirits." Sophia smiled

"Thanks, Juna! And thanks to all of your friends, too!" Colin cheered

"Poliwag! Poli!" Poliwag cheered

"It's no problem at all." Juna smiled. "Have a good time everyone. Cya!" Juna said and wave goodbye as they headed back to Lakeside Beach.

"By the way, where's Natsu and Happy?" Lucy asked.

"Don't know. Call them." Gray said as Lucy begin to call him.

"Natsu, Where are you and Happy? We already found Colin and return him to his parents?"

"What?! Oh come on!" Natsu yelled

"I told you we should have waited and look what he looks like." Happy said, causing the group to sweatdrop.

"Anyway, we're situation is over. Find us at the beach." Erza said.

"Okay..." Natsu grumbled as Lucy hand up until they reach Lakeside Beach.

They arrived and see Natsu and Happy approach them.

"Aww man. How did you guys find him? We were looking all over the place." Natsu grumbled

"He was sitting on the bench with a Poliwag. We help him out a few things." Wendy smiled.

"That's what you get for running off you pink hair idiot." Gray said

"Shut up, Freeze butt!" Natsu glared

"You shut up!"

"Enough!" Erza punch their heads. "Now that we're all here. We can finally head to the wetlands." She said as they took a left turn to a metal door as Juna enter the key card and then activated.

"It's open! This way should lead us right to the wetlands!" Juna smiled

"All right. Let's go." Levi said as the Metal Doors opened and they go in.

Phew. A lot has going on. I'm glad Harold and his wife have some good remembers with Colin. Now they'll finally head to the Wetlands! Oh yeah! Did you all see the latest news to Trails? The Legend of Heroes: Kai no Kiseki – Farewell, O Zemuria was announced! Ouroboros Grandmaster has finally made their appearance and some new characters, too! An interesting conversation with Balhart and Campanella. We might discover who Campanella really is, including Ouroboros Grandmaster. I can't wait to see the trailing of that to come! Ooh I hope it comes sooner including the game!
