The Zora's appearance in this chapter will be a combination of Zora Link and the ones from Twilight Princess.

WHO IS DEADLIEST?!

To find out, we've assembled a team of world class fighters to test history's most lethal weapons. Using 21st century science, we'll see what happens when two warriors go toe to toe.

No rules. No safety. No mercy. It's a duel to the death to decide who is...THE DEADLIEST WARRIOR!

Here in our elite fight club we have gathered doctors, medical scientists and weapons experts to test out the lethal arsenals wielded by each of our combatants to determine who would win a fight between two non-human species.

Zora

Appearing from: Legend of Zelda expanded universe

Height: 6'

Weight: 180 lbs.

Armor: Zora Helmet, Silver Shield

Ra'zac

Appearing from: Inheritance Cycle

Height: 5'10''

Weight: 155 lbs.

Armor: Exoskeleton

''On this episode of Deadliest Warrior: Fiction Edition we're bringing in two different non-human species from two popular franchises. Up first we have the Zora who are the fish-like aquatic race from the Legend of Zelda games on on the other side we have the feared assassins from Inheritance Cycle, the bird-like Ra'zac.'' DeadAliveManiac started off.

''This is truly a battle of opposites because the Zora are an aquatic race and can fight as well on land as the water whereas the Ra'zac are avian-like in appearance and actively hunt dragon riders and were very smart.'' Zivon96 added.

''Two very different ways to approach combat collide when the more passive Zora meets the aggressive and stealthy Ra'zac. I wonder how the Zora will deal with his new opponent who can detect him via scent? Zoras are not known for being the strongest of warriors within the Zelda universe but they will make powerful allies as seen in Breath Of The Wild.'' MKDemiGodzilla-Warrior explained.

''We've been wanting to feature the Zora for a while and now they have their chance to prove if they have what it takes to be the deadliest warrior. We've seen the Ra'zac before but not against the Zora. The latter has actual armor while the former has natural armor. Let's see how much the differences in their approach to combat and their armor will affect the outcome.'' Its Rice Man concluded.

The Zora or Zora tribe are a race in The Legend of Zelda series. They are an aquatic folk who possess fish and amphibian like traits, including fins, webbed feet and gills which allow them to swim and thrive underwater. Zora are normally found in or near large bodies of water, but very rarely stray far away from them. In Hyrule, Zora live in the Zora's Domain, a large cavernous fountain that is connected to the Zora River which flows directly to Lake Hylia. It is common to see Zora within these areas as well. Not only can they live in fresh water they can also live in salt water as well.

''In the first Zelda game from 1986 they appeared as enemies but in pretty much every game after that they appear as allies. While they may not have the tough guy attitude and the physical strength of the Gorons, they make up for that by being swift swimmers and loyal allies especially to Link in BOTW. The Ra'zac needs to watch himself against the Zora because if he doesn't he's dead.'' Rice Man explained.

To defend their tribe and to assist the Hero, the Zora comes armed with a conventional and natural arsenal to aid in bringing peace to the land.

Short Range: Zora Sword

Mid-Range: Zora Spear

Long Range: Fin Blades

Special: Bio-electric Barrier

However, what will happen when the proud Zora confronts a devious and intelligent killer?

Ra'zac were one of the several ancient races that were thought to have followed the humans across the sea to Alagaƫsia. They were a race that fed on humans and likely came from the same homelands. They may be the reason that the humans migrated from their home over the sea in the first place. For many years the creatures roamed wild, killing and devouring humans before the Dragon Riders agreed to put an end to it and were nearly exterminated during the bloody Ra'zac war.

''These guys have a lot of pride in their endurance and stealthy approach to combat and they were so good that even mages and mind readers can't detect them! I wonder if the Zora knows what's coming his way?'' Rice Man explained.

To torture and kill their enemies, the Ra'zac came armed and made use of a very cruel weapons arsenal.

Short Range: Leaf-blade Sword

Mid-Range: Twin Knives

Long Range: Throwing Knives

Special: Seithr Oil

When these two non-human warriors fought their enemies of close they relied on two different bladed weapons to get the job done. Up first will be the Zora with his Zora Sword.

Zora expert and actual Zora Sidon walks over with his blade in hand.

''Greetings everyone! This weapon here is the standard issue sword among Zora warriors. It was made of a very durable and rust proof metal with a double-edged blade that measures a foot and a half long and weighs 3 pounds. A perfect weapon for us Zora warriors.'' explained the expert.

''Great, we want to see what kind of damage you can do on a target.'' DAM said before pointing toward the stand in, ''Your target will be this gel torso which will represent your Ra'zac opponent and it is covered in the armor. Think you're up for the job?''

Without saying a word, Sidon nods and then walks over to the target and gets into a ready position.

''Okay Sidon, on 3...2...1...cut em up!''

With a war cry Sidon takes his blade and thrusts it deep into the target's torso and the armor failed to protect the wearer as the blade pierced all the way through with a sickening crunch. The panelists were left in awe at the gory display and after he pulls the sword out and swings it at the neck cutting a fair amount into it before he places a hand on the head and thrusts the sword straight through the torso's face as DAM calls time. However, Sidon wasn't satisfied with his work and proceeds to swing his sword once more and slices an arm clean off.

Zivon then walks over to assess the damage.

''For a straight bladed sword I'm surprised at how effective it is at slashing. I'll start off with the last attack that was uncalled for and you managed to slice the arm clean off and you managed to sever the brachial artery. It's not a kill by itself but If I don't treat the wound he'll eventually bleed out and die. For the first attack with the thrust into the chest you pierced clean through the aorta for an instant kill and even severed the spinal cord and from where you cut it it would leave him paralyzed. Finally for the neck you cut through it enough to sever an artery and his jugular vein which will lead to a near instant kill with the amount of blood you spilled. All in all a very impressive display with your sword.''

''For a straight sword we noted that it is also good at slicing and dicing which is something you don't see a lot of.'' Demigod said.

''You also managed to get through the exoskeleton as well, good work.'' Rice Man commented.

''Yes, this is a fine blade whether you thrust or slash and our preferred way believe it or not is slashing.'' Sidon added.

Ra'zac expert Eragon walked up to look at the display himself.

''I find myself impressed but my sword can do just as good damage if not better.''

The Ra'zac responds to the Zora sword's impressive display with his own blade.

''The swords used by the Ra'zac was a double-edged blade. It was a weapon used by elves killed by the Ra'zac who would take it for themselves. The blade was 3 feet long and weighed 2 and a half pounds.'' Eragon explained.

''Then it's the same test for you except your target will be outfitted in the armor worn by a typical Zora warrior. Much like Sidon you have 15 seconds to deal as much damage as possible.'' DAM said.

The expert nods and gets into position and waits for DAM's countdown.

''On my mark, 3...2...1...attack!''

Eragon rushes toward the target and swings at the shield leaving a small dent but no visible penetration. Undeterred he pulls the shield away before bringing the sword down onto the fish helmet leaving some parts of of chipped but then again does not break through the armor. Even though he didn't get through the armor he takes the helmet off and swings the blade sideways and severs the head.

''I am done.'' said the expert.

Zivon then walks over to assess the damage.

''Well should I really start off with the obvious stuff? For the shield and the helmet there was of course, no penetration so the armor is protecting this man...fish and saving his life. The readings we got from the strikes weren't enough to break bones either.'' Zivon explained before moving on to the severed head. He picks it up and looks at Eragon, ''This one is obvious, decapitation is always an instant kill, no exceptions.''

''I noticed you seemed more labored every time you failed against the armor and that can get a warrior frustrated which could affect your performance in battle.'' DAM chimed in.

''It wouldn't matter since the Ra'zac were very precise. If he can see that the armor will be a huge problem to him he will make sure the strike the Zora when he least expects it.'' Eragon replied.

After testing out these two lethal swords which one does the panel believe takes the edge?

''I'm siding with the Zora sword since it had no problem cutting and piercing its way through the hardened exoskeleton of the Ra'zac.'' DAM started off.

''I have to agree, despite being shorter the armor failure is what did it for me. The Ra'zac's sword did not generate enough force to hurt the Zora through his shield or helmet so I give it to the Zora.'' Zivon seconded.

''In my case though I go with the Ra'zac for the longer blade. Reach is everything when it comes to swordplay which is why I go with it.'' Demigod interjected.

''Agreed, size is definitely intimidating. While the Zora will have an easier time killing the Ra'zac, the Ra'zac will have an easier time keeping the Zora at a distance. In the end I'm siding with the Ra'zac on this one.'' Rice Man concluded.

In short range weapons, both warriors are even.

Coming up, a traditional spear goes up against a two terror blades.

XXXXXX

When these two species needed a mid-range weapon to take their enemies down they relied on two different means of killing. Up first will be the Ra'zac with his twin knives

''This was a weapon that the Ra'zac would consider its best friend. The steel it was made of was proof of how amazing Elven craftmanship was. It is a slashing, thrusting and blocking weapon with a blade that measure 29 inches long and weighed 3 pounds each.'' Eragon explained holding his knives out for the panelists.

''Alrighty then we have something you can test it out on, this pig carcass will represent a charging Zora warrior and you will be given 15 seconds to show off the lethality of the knives. You think you're up for the job?'' DAM questioned.

''I'll get it done don't you worry.'' Eragon said as he got into position.

''In that case, 3...2...1...cut em up!'' DAM called out.

Letting out a battle cry the expert raises one of his knives and slashes deep into the face of the pig cutting halfway through it before bringing up his second knife and slices the throat open spilling blood everywhere. Pulling back both of his blades he then performs a series of thrusts and slashes on the midsection of the pig sending blood flying in multiple directions as DAM calls time.

Eragon steps away from the carcass to allow Zivon efficient room to check the damage done.

"The first blow is obvious since you're cutting straight into the face and that blade was enough to cleave halfway through his skull and cut into the brain for an instant kill." he said as he physically touched the sliced head before moving on, "Here we have you taking the second blade and much like the first blow you sliced clean through all his carotid arteries and jugular veins for another instant kill since the bleed out will be tremendous. Lastly you took those knives to slice and stab the chest area into oblivion and of course all these combined strikes will lead to another kill. Good work and a quick trip to the morgue."

"I'm just intimidated looking at those knives, those are more like swords!" Rice Man commented.

"Indeed, these are very deadly weapons and in the hands of a deadly warrior like the Ra'zac it doesn't surprise me." DAM seconded.

Sidon walked up and shook his head in disapproval.

"I admire your work Eragon but with my weapon the Ra'zac will never get close enough to use it."

The Zora responds to the twin knives with a simple impaling weapon fashioned by his people.

''Here is another weapon that is very common among Zora warriors. It's made of a very special metal and measures over 5 and a half feet long with a spearhead that looked like an arrowhead with these hook like parts on the head that can be used for hooking an opponent. It was a very deadly weapon.'' Sidon explained proudly.

''Impressive looking weapon, it reminds us of the Zande warrior's makrigga.'' DAM said before motioning toward the test set up, ''Like before we'll give you 15 seconds to show us what kind of damage that weapon can do to this Ra'zac stand in.''

Sidon nodded and got into position.

''Alright Sidon on my go. 3...2...1...impale!'' DAM shouted out.

With a loud grunt Sidon takes his spear and thrusts it hard into the target's chest with a sickening ripping sound. Half the spearhead being embedded within the torso as blood slowly seeps out of the wound in between the skin and the spearhead. Wasting no time he retracts his spear and uses one of the hook ends to grab the target by the neck before pulling it toward him which causes the stand in to fall face first before he takes his spear for one last thrust and shoves it straight into the back of the skull with a crunch as DAM calls time.

Zivon then makes his way over to assess the damage.

''DAMn, for a spear this is quite impressive with the damage done and starting with the first one you managed to stab deep enough to pierce the aorta which will get you an instant kill, a very bloody way to go. The second one is a no brainer, well literally since you took that spear and drove it right into the back of the skull which cut into the brain for another instant kill. All in all you have two strikes and two kills good work.'' explained the doctor.

''I admit, the spear is definitely intimidating with its appearance but if you've seen one spear you've seen them all.'' Eragon said chipping in his two cents.

After testing out these two different but lethal mid-range weapon, which one does our panel believe takes the edge?

''For me I'm siding with the Zora spear for reach and has the option to hook you and set you up for a kill.'' DAM started off.

''You're wrong moron the twin knives win this since they have options and you have two of them. It's obvious in the test DAM.'' Zivon countered.

''I think I have to agree with this one and give it to the Ra'zac for options. Sure the spear has reach but the blades have lots of ways to be used.'' Demigod seconded.

''Agreed, the spear looks intimidating but when you get past that blade you're good to go and again you have two dangerous weapons to worry about compared to one. The Ra'zac can block the spear with one and attack with the other.'' Rice Man concluded.

In mid-range weapons, the edge goes to the Ra'zac for its twin knives.

Coming up, two throwable weapons come forth to dive bomb the competition and then later, Zora? Or Ra'zac? Which species is the deadliest warrior?

XXXXXX

Now the time has come for our warriors to reveal their long ranged arsenals. Up first will be the Zora with a weapon that comes from a natural part of his body.

"The long range weapon very few Zoras can use and master was the fin blades. These were sharpened fins attached to the forearm and were like wide bladed swords with the way they looked. They were effective weapons to take down any enemy for any Zora who had these. They were 2 feet long and weighed under a pound and functions liked boomerangs as they would return to the user." Sidon explained.

Since Sidon does not possess fin blades like Link's Zora form he will toss two replicas at several targets representing attacking Ra'zac.

''Okay Sidon, whenever you're ready go ahead and start tossing your weapons.'' DAM said.

Nodding, Sidon takes his first fin blade and takes a moment to aim at the first target which was covered in the Ra'zac's exoskeleton armor and after finding his trajectory he tosses the blade and the weapon flies through the air and strikes the target dead center in the chest with an audible crunch making the panelists cringed from the sound alone. Taking his second blade he aims at the second target and swings it horizontally at the torso and with an amazing throw the blade manages to decapitate the target sending blood spraying everywhere.

''Hell yeah! That's fucking awesome!'' DAM called out in excitement.

''DAMn! That's a good throw.'' Rice Man commented.

Smirking at the cheering he got from the panelists he takes his final blade and aims it horizontally at the final target and after finding where he wanted to aim he lets the blade fly through the air and this time the blade severs both the torso's legs at the knee sending it falling to the ground in a broken heap. With his blades he rushes up to the legless target and swings one of his blades severing the head.

''Well shit, that was more impressive than the decapitation.'' Demigod said.

Zivon then walks over to assess the damage. The doctor prods and checks all the targets before he explained the situation.

''So I'll start off with this guy and that huge ass blade was so powerful that it managed to quite literally cleave its way deep into the chest cavity where you're hitting the heart and aorta among many vital areas causing an instant kill and you even managed to cut the rib cage in half from the middle. The second target took that blade right through the neck for a functional decapitation leading to another instant kill and the final guy missing his legs would bleed bad if he doesn't get treated he will die from the blood loss. All in all we have 2 killed instantly and 1 dying very quickly if he isn't treated.'' the doctor explained.

Rice Man, Demigod, DAM and Eragon walked over to look at the situation for themselves and while the panelists were impressed the latter had his own opinion on the fin blades.

''I will admit it is a very impressive weapon capable of a lot of damage but the Ra'zac would see this coming from a mile away.''

To respond to the Zora's vicious fin blades, the Ra'zac comes armed with his own deadly throwing weapon.

''The Ra'zac were very deadly accurate with their long range weapons which would be these.'' Eragon said before he pulled out several throwing knives to show off, ''This was another weapon they loved and was made of Elven steel, measures at 10 inches in length and weighed just 10 ounces. A very quiet and lethal weapon that served the Ra'zacs well.''

''And to test it out we've set up a target just for you. A gel torso outfitted in the fish helmet and carrying the silver shield of the Zora so show us if these are capable of killing in one hit.'' DAM said.

Eragon nods and gets into position with his first throwing knife ready. He takes his first knife and takes the moment to aim at the helmet and soon he hurls the first knife at the armor and manages to pierce slightly in the front portion but the blade fell out and landed harmlessly on the floor. Not bothered he takes his second knife and chucks it at the shield and to no surprise it bounces off the surface with a 'clang'. Visibly annoyed the expert takes his third knife and chucks it at the unprotected chest of the torso and strikes the target just above the heart before taking his fourth and final knife and chucks it straight at the neck getting it where the jugular vein would be.

As usual Zivon made his way over to the stand in to assess the damage and pulls out the knife that was stuck in the neck.

''So for this one you've managed to sever the jugular vein which will lead you a very rapid bleedout and a kill. For the knife stuck in the chest I'm seeing almost the entire blade managed to penetrate deep into the chest and from what I'm feeling and seeing here you nicked the aorta, another instant kill.'' Zivon then inspects both the helmet and shield before concluding his assessment, ''The knife left a little hole in the helmet but it's not touching the warrior underneath and the shield saw no visible penetration.''

''It wouldn't bother the Ra'zac in the end since they'll just simply aim for the Zora's exposed chest and legs.'' Eragon said.

Two very lethal and highly dangerous throwing weapons, which one does the panel believe take the edge?

''I think this one is an obvious one.'' DAM started off, ''The Zora's fin blades are larger and cause much more trauma so it wins in my opinion.''

''Despite it being a slower projectile it still impresses me with the amount of sheer trauma and damage it can cause.'' Zivon seconded.

''That and it can pierce through the Ra'zac's exoskeleton whereas the knives failed to do significant damage to the Zora's shield and helmet. Edge Zora.'' Demigod added.

''Bigger blades, more trauma, can function as a sword and a shield and can pierce the Ra'zac's exoskeleton it's pretty obvious which wins.'' Rice Man concluded.

For long range weapons, the edge goes to the Zora for his fin blades.

Coming up, two different and unpredictable special weapons come forth and then later our battle between two non-human species begins.

XXXXXX

Zora, the aquatic people of Hyrule versus the Ra'zac, the fierce and intelligent assassins of Alagaesia. Which warrior will kill the other?

Now the time has come for both warriors to bring out their special weapons. Up first will be the Ra'zac with the highly deceptive and lethal seithr oil.

''This liquid is called seithr oil and was the Ra'zac's favored weapon when it came to torturing their victims. It looks like water and harmless but when they perform an incantation and a blood sacrifice it becomes a very painful and highly corrosive concoction that burns living tissue away.'' Eragon explained as he passes a bottle of the liquid to the panelists.

''Well shit, that does sound like a crappy way to go.'' DAM said before pointing toward a gel torso, ''There we have a gel torso that will have the fish helmet and the shield of the Zora. Since you said it is acidic let's see if you can defeat the armor with the seithr oil.''

''Of course.'' Eragon said as he walked up to the gel torso.

He unscrews the cork off the bottle and sprays a bit of the oil on the shield before dumping the rest of the bottle onto the fish helmet and torso of the Zora stand in and soon the oil began to eat away at the shield rendering it a useless husk of metal and the fish helmet began to melt away as well and the torso began to be reduced to a useless, mangled husk of raw, red flesh much to the horror of the panelists and Sidon.

Taking his gloves Zivon then walks over to assess the damage.

''Holy fuck, this is a horrible way to go! The armor was useless against the oil and look!'' he points at the melted away helmet revealing the head had tissue melted away, ''The face has melted off this guy! What a fucked up way to go..he's dead. If you didn't kill him with the head the oil eating away at the torso and into the chest cavity would kill him eventually. Horrible, horrible way to go.'' Zivon concluded.

''I admit, this is very impressive but I have a weapon that would defeat this seithr oil as it will never touch me.'' Sidon interjected.

The Zora responds to the seithr oil's vile magic with a protective barrier used to stun and kill.

''The bio-electric barrier is a weapon that a Zora can use in both offensive and defensive manners. When an enemy is struck by this it can either stun or kill them depending on what creature is it. Zora who master this technique can use it while swimming allowing them to swim without having to worry about attacking forces. It had a range of about 3 feet from where the user stood.'' Sidon explained.

To test out the power of the bio-electric barrier, Sidon will be surrounded by four attacking Ra'zac before having seithr oil tossed at him by Eragon to test out both its defensive and offensive capabilities.

''Okay Sidon the targets are set up so whenever you're ready go ahead and activate the barrier.'' DAM said.

With a nod, Sidon lets out a yell as he activates the barrier and zaps the Ra'zac stand ins. The jolts of electric energy making the torsos convulse endlessly before he deactivates the barrier and the torsos fall to the floor slightly charred and smoking. Turning to face Eragon the Ra'zac expert takes a bottle of seithr oil and throws it at the Zora who activates the barrier and the electric energy breaks the bottle and disintegrates the oil much to Eragon's shock leaving him unharmed.

Zivon then makes his way over to assess the damage done to the torsos and after doing so he shook his head in what looked like disgust.

''Holy hell, the currents were all strong enough to send all these guys into cardiac arrest! They're all dead! Some portions of the skin are slightly charred too but that won't kill them since it's just skin. I am really impressed with this weapon.'' Zivon explained.

After testing out these two different and surprisingly deadly special weapons, which one does our panel believe take the edge? They appear to be divided.

''I think I'll go with the seithr oil since you can put it in a bottle and throw it for some extra range whereas the barrier can only go so far.'' DAM started off.

''I disagree and give this all to the bio-electric barrier since you can use it to attack and defend yourself. The Ra'zac will have a hard time doing anything when the barrier is up.'' Zivon countered.

''For me, this has to go to the barrier because yes, you're stationary you can't ignore the fact that it is a weapon for battle compared to the seithr oil which was better off as a torture weapon. Edge Zora.'' Demigod added.

''Agreed, the seithr oil is useless if the Zora brings out the barrier.'' Rice Man concluded.

In special weapons, the edge goes to the Zora for the bio-electric barrier.

Now for armor, both these species brought in differing methods to protect their bodies. The Zora wore the fish helmet and carried the silver shield and the Ra'zac relied on its hardened exoskeleton for protection.

''Zora gets the edge in armor since the shield and helmet can withstand the Ra'zac's weapons compared to the exoskeleton which won't do much to protect the Ra'zac from the Zora's weapons especially the sword.'' DAM explained.

''The Ra'zac's only weapon that can truly defeat the Zora's armor is the seithr oil so this one definitely goes to the Zora.'' Zivon seconded.

''He's wearing actual armor, nuff said.'' Demigod said.

Rice Man nodded in agreement as the other three took the words right out of his mouth.

In the armor category, the edge goes to the Zora for his fish helmet and silver shield.

Coming up, Metal Harbinger will gauge the x-factors and our battle between two non-human species begins!

XXXXXX

Welcome back to the Fight Club, here we tested out the the weapons wielded by our warriors to decide who is deadliest.

For short range weapons, both the Zora sword and Leaf-blade sword were proven to be equally effective.

''They both did so much damage for our liking that we decided it was a tie. One is longer and the other is shorter but more intimidating.'' DAM explained.

Edge: Even

For mid-range weapons, the versatility of the twin knives overcame the reach advantage of the Zora spear.

''More options equals more kills. The Zora's spear is way too one dimensional.'' Zivon explained.

Edge: Ra'zac

For long range weapons, the larger fin blades decapitated the throwing knives.

''Despite being slower it causes more trauma and can easily instant kill anything they hit.'' Demigod explained.

Edge: Zora

For special weapons, the powerful offensive and defensive usage of the bio-electric barrier proved more effective than the seithr oil.

''Offensive and defensive use and can block the seithr oil. It was a close comparison but the barrier wins it.'' Rice Man explained.

Edge: Zora

And finally, for armor the actual armor of the Zora proved more protective over the Ra'zac's exoskeleton.

''It's actual armor compared to the hardened exoskeleton of the Ra'zac which won't do much to protect it from the weapons of the Zora.'' Metal explained.

Edge: Zora

And now, our resident metalhead and computer wizz Metal Harbinger will evaluate the x-factors.

''Lets get metal thrashing mad!'' the metalhead said happily.

''First I started off with training and gave this one to the Zora. While they aren't a warrior society and militaristic like Hylian Knights they are better trained in warfare compared to the assassination methods of the Ra'zac. 88 to a 78 respectively.''

''For intimidation this one went to the Ra'zac as they could get the jump on you and kill you before you least expect it. It was their assassination specialty that won them this with a 90 to the Zora's 81.''

''Ferocity was third and again this went to the Ra'zac since the Zora weren't very warlike compared to the aggressive Gorons or the deceptive Gerudo people. The Ra'zac had the edge for enjoying torturing victims with seithr oil so they got a 95 to the Zora's 60.''

''Next is physicality and this was a tie since the Zora were tall, skinny but fit and were great swimmers to the Ra'zac being quick on their feet. 85 each.''

''Last but not least is killer instinct and the Ra'zac was the hands down winner. They enjoyed killing their enemies, especially dragon riders so they got a 97 to the Zora's 75.''

Our panelists and experts have concluded the necessary weapons testing and x-factor evaluations. Now Metal will put the data into the simulator which will run one-thousand battles to the death.

Who will will between two different non-human species?

Direct

(A Zora is seen locking blades with a bokoblin and finds an opening in the creature's defense before running it through with his sword.)

vs. Sneaky

(A Ra'zac is seen stalking a dragon rider, takes out a throwing knife and hurls it at the man's head dropping him.)

''All the data is in so let's see who wins.'' Metal said before hitting the button.

It was dusk in the lush forested beachheads of Lake Hylia a lone Zora warrior was seen swimming through the lake's clean and pristine waters on patrol on orders from the Zora Queen Rutela. There have been reports of a strange group of avian like assassins that have taken out several Hylian knights as well as a few Zora wondering Lanayru Province.

This Zora was in charge of the area of the lake since the most recent reports of the assassins was here and he was on the lookout for these strange attackers. Nearby on the shore was his spear and sword in case he needed it and he had his fin blades and shield strapped to his back.

Unknown to the Zora however, he was being watched from the shoreline by a strange figure wearing a dark cloak. This figure was a Ra'zac who was dispatched to assassinate the Zora Queen but first he would have to take out this particular Zora before making his way into Zora's Domain. He watches intently at the aquatic person and waits until he makes his way to the shore to rest. He sees the Zora make it to dry land and begins to tend to his weapons which was his golden opportunity to strike.

He creeps his way over with a throwing knife in hand and when he makes it to the brushes nearest to the Zora he inadvertently alerts a bird that was nesting in the brush and it flies away. Hearing the bird chirp the Zora stops tending to his sword and looks at the brush only to see a knife spinning toward him.

The blade hits him straight in the face but his fish helmet deflects the oncoming projectile sending him into a slight daze. He had no time to react as a second knife was coming straight at him and he barely manages to dodge to the side as the blade leaves a small cut on his upper arm.

Out of annoyance the Zora picks up his shield and sword and turns to face the brush only to feel a shadow looming above him. Looking up the Zora sees the cloaked Ra'zac descending upon him with his leaf blade sword pointed downward ready to skewer him. The Zora leaps out of the way causing the Ra'zac to thrust his sword into the patch of grass and he struggles briefly to pull the blade out. The Zora watches on as the Ra'zac frees his blade and the avian creature turns to face him and the two creatures eye each other warily. The Zora didn't have to guess what the Ra'zac was as he already knew this was one of the avian assassins that have been tormenting Lanayru Province these past few weeks and he was determined to stop the creature for his Queen.

The two creatures circle each other with their weapons held protectively in front of them and it would be the Ra'zac who went to attack by faking a charge which prompts the Zora to raise his shield protectively in front of him. This was all a fluke as the Ra'zac quickly reaches into his cloak and takes out a bottle of seithr oil.

Since he had his shield in front of him the Zora was not able to see the bottle of seithr oil coming toward him. Feeling the hit and hearing the bottle break he lowers his shield to see the metal slowly dissolving away much to his shock. He drops the shield as the front part completely melts away and he looks up to see the Ra'zac charging toward him with his leaf blade sword ready to kill.

The Zora responds by swinging his blade and the two of them find themselves locking blades and after a brief struggle the Ra'zac uses the advantage of having a longer blade and uses the leverage to bring the Zora's sword to the side leaving his opponent open to an attack.

Taking his chance the avian assassin swings his blade but the Zora lowers his head to avoid being decapitated and was saved when his helmet was struck instead. The 'clang' filling the air and denting his helmet slightly which sends him into a daze. The Ra'zac thrusts the blade into the Zora's side but it was not deep enough to cause any significant damage. Letting out a shriek of pain the Zora grabs the Ra'zac's sword arm and manages to hold him in place as he goes for a slash of his own.

The Ra'zac was not able to let go of his sword in time to dodge and was struck in the side making it howl in pain.

However the avian warrior was not going to relinquish his grip on the sword and manages to grab the Zora's sword and yank it away before forcing his blade in further into the aquatic man. Having no other choice the Zora activates his bio-electric barrier and zaps the Ra'zac.

The assassin crying out in pain from the electrical discharge and after deactivating the barrier the Zora performs a roundhouse kick that sends the Ra'zac several feet away creating an opening to rush toward where he had placed his spear before he went on his routine swim.

Still convulsing from the barrier's zapping the Ra'zac was finally able to regain his composure and bearings after the discharge leaves his body and sits up to see the Zora running toward his spear. Not wanting his prey to get away the Ra'zac gets up and swiftly chases the Zora down.

The Zora reaches his spear and scoops it up and hearing footsteps behind him he turns around to stab the Ra'zac but the avian warrior short hops into the air with his twin knives in hand and swings them down onto the Zora's helmet dazing the aquatic warrior once more before he swings them sideways with enough power to send the helmet flying off of the Zora's head into the water with a splash.

Able to recover quickly the Zora sets his sights on the Ra'zac who lunges toward him with his knives pointed outward and he sidesteps and uses the other end of his spear to bat the Ra'zac on the back of the head dazing him in return but the avian warrior recovers quickly and manages to block a thrust from the Zora warrior with one of his blades. He uses this chance to slash at the Zora warrior hitting him in the cheek and slices it open slightly spilling some of his blood onto the grass.

Feeling victory coming within reach a demonic like grin forms on the avian's face and he goes to thrust his sword but the Zora takes one hand off the spear and uses his fin blade as a shield. The Ra'zac's knife pierces through the fin and gets stuck so the avian follows up by kicking the spear out of the Zora's grasp and uses the other one to leave a horrible gash on the Zora's chest making him shriek in agony.

Victory was even closer now and with his opponent reeling in pain the Ra'zac kicks him over and he lands on his back leaving him wide open. He takes his twin knives and stands tall over the Zora to deliver the killing blow.

Despite the great pain he was in the Zora fights and looks up to see his avian opponent getting ready to deliver the killing blow and as quick as he could he grabs one of his fin blades and flings it at the Ra'zac.

All was silent except for the chirping of the birds overhead before and the Ra'zac's head, still sporting the demonic grin slowly, very slowly slid off of its neck before landing on the ground. Blood sprays out of the wound sporadically as the avian's headless body falls over.

The fin blade comes flying back to the grounded Zora and he gets up and catches it with his forearm.

Putting his hand over his chest wound and wipes some of the blood away as he looks at the dead Ra'zac for a few seconds before raising his hands into the air in victory.

In another close battle between two non-human species, it would be the Zora who emerges victorious. He won 54.4% compared to the Ra'zac with 45.6%. It was thanks to him possessing actual armor and the overall lethality of his bio-electric barrier which was the deadliest weapon with 164 kills. The Ra'zac proved to be a strong challenger with his twin knives outscoring three of the Zora's weapons.

''In the end the Ra'zac did not have anything remotely reliable to get through his biggest obstacle which was the Zora's shield. However he proved to be a serious threat with his deadliest mid-range weapon and his seithr oil.'' DAM explained.

''While the Ra'zac was a deadly warrior in its own right, they specialized as assassins compared to the Zoras who are great at fighting face to face.'' Zivon commented.

''It makes sense since the Ra'zac's exoskeleton wasn't very protective against the Zora's weapons and he could only really kill the Zora by getting the jump on him.'' Demigod said.

''I like the Ra'zac and their use of the seithr oil but that was negated by the Zora's bio-electric barrier. If he got close to the Zora he would be zapped and left open to attacks which is another reason that led to it losing. The avian warrior was a tough opponent but the Zora stands tall in the end.'' Rice Man concluded.

''I faced the Ra'zac myself so I don't know if I should be disappointed in this loss or not.'' Eragon said with a shrug.

''Yes! We have proven we are the deadliest warrior! The Zora people shall be proud of this great victory!'' Sidon declared proudly before smiling, a 'ding' sound being heard.

(The Zora was now seen swimming up the river toward Zora's Domain after tending to his wounds. He will have to report to Queen Rutela of his encounter with the Ra'zac and strapped to his back he carried the Ra'zac's bladed weapons as proof of the avian threat.)
