Welcome back everyone! This time around, we'll be focusing on Saber, the Proud Knight King from the Visual Novel, Fate/stay night.

Part of the reason why is because of Eltnum. Eltnum is essentially an alternate version of Sion Eltnam Atlasia, as she has her main self's moves and attacks, but her personality is basically Deadpool without the bloodlust and insanity. It also helps that both Melty Blood and Fate are both made by Type-Moon.

And while Sion didn't appear in Melty Blood Type Lumina, Saber did find her way in as a Guest Character, hence her appearance in this story. As such, her moveset and dialogue will be based off her appearance from Type Lumina as well as Fate Unlimited Code. As for her character, it will be from the Fate Route of Fate/stay night. For placement, it will sometime after she and Shirou defeat Berserker but way before fighting Gilgamesh and Kotomine.

With that, let's see how this Heroic Spirit finds herself within the Hollow Night...

Intro 1: Saber stands before her opponent with her hands atop her planted sword. She then lifts it up as she gets into her fighting stance.

Intro 2: Saber is in her causal clothes, apparently looking for someone or something until she notices her opponent. In her surprise, she changes into her armor and gets into her fighting stance.

Round Loss: Saber gets up onto one knee, placing both of her hands on her sword, ready to continue fighting.

Vs. Vatista: "To think that an artificial construct would rival that of an Archer Class. Even so, you possess a strong sense of self deep within you. Hold onto that... and embrass your humanity."

Vs. Wagner: "Your skills with a blade are admirable, but you must hone yourself if you are to be a true master of the sword, Crimson Knight."

Vs. Hilda: "There is no escape, demon witch. Those who would threaten humanity shall be sent back to the shadows from whence they came."

Vs. Eltnum: "Curious... it feels as if I met you somewhere before. Regardless, you have fought well. I hope that we can meet again."

Vs. Akatsuki: "That was well fought, as expected of a warrior. As for this place we found oueselves, I have heard tales of late-night restaurants that serve delicious meals. Shall we embark to locate one?"

Hyde: "So, you some kind of knight or something? I'm asking because you look and sound the part I mean. Don't get me wrong, it's pretty nifty to see a knight, even a girl one!"

Linne: "So you're in limbo yourself... a Heroic Spirit fighting against other ghosts. In a way, your predicament is no different than mine in that case. If I were you, I just stop and rest in piece."

Waldstein: "Impressive, despite your thin physique you boast incredible power! In the end, my claws triumphed your invisible blade, but I'd be more than willing accept another challenge from you if we ever meet again."

Seth: "Hmpf... a knight such as yourself has no idea of how to face an assassin from this day and age. Despite that, a spirit such as yourself should pass on and not interfere in the modern world any longer."

Yuzuriha: "Hoo boy... even though I could barely make it out, that sword of yours certainly packs a punch. You are certainly quite the swordsman. Let's cross blades again if we ever get a chance to do so."

Vatista: "Heroic Spirit? An anomaly involving a spirit of higher existence and yet you are able to interact in the physical world with a solid form? I shall leave the decision to the program to decide whether to study you further."

Enkidu: "I have heard many legends about you, King Arthur. To think that I would get a chance to fight against you is something I never would have thought possible. It is a true honor to face off against the King of Knights."

Wagner: "To think that the fabeled King Arthur is a woman? Even so, the blade you wield holds much strength and conviction. As rare it is for me to say this, you have earned my ulmost respect."

Hilda: "I may not have obtained the Insulator, but your Excalibur is a good secondary prize. You can die knowing your weapon is in the hands of a more worthy wielder."

Eltnum: "It certainly is an honor to face you again, my king. You truly are my superior in every way, Artoria."

Akatsuki: "That was a marvelous battle madam. Know then, I believe it's time to find a nice restaurant. Woukd you care to join me? I'm certain you must be hungry as well."

Super Attacks

EXS Attack - The Sword of Promised Victory: Excalibur reveals it's true state as Saber swings it down, creating a wave of golden energy that covers the ground across the screen.

Infinite Worth - Avalon: Saber summons a golden energy shield in front of her. If the opponent hits the shield, the screen flashes white before it cuts to Saber gathering energy in Excalibur and slashing the opponent with a powerful close range energy slash.

Infinite Worth EXS - The Sword of Promised Victory - Sword Dance: Once the Flash Field connects, Saber charges toward her opponent, slashing then twice before launching them into the sky. Then, with Excalibur revaled, Saber unleashes a full powered slash that turns into a golden piller of energy. The opponent then falls back to the ground.

Unique Traits

Double Jump: Like Linne and Akatsuki, Saber can do a second jump.

Air Dash: Saber can Air Dash after a jump. She can't Air Dash after a Double Jump.

*Hilda arrives on the spot of a new location where she comes face to face with a young woman wearing an armored dress*

Saber: "Halt right there!"

Hilda: "Well now, that's a nice way to say hello. For whom do I owe the pleasure?"

Saber: "Someone who has come here to stop your wicked schemes."

Hilda: "Oh, I can tell you're here for that. What I am asking is who you are specifically? You look like some kind of knight it looks like."

Saber: "I am known as Saber. I am a Heroic Spirit in service of my master in the Fifth Holy Grail War."

"For reasons unknown, me and my master have found ourselves here. While the two of us were trying to find a way back, we found out about you and your forces in the process."

Hilda: "Holy Grail? Spirit? I don't know why... but that reminds of a powerful weapon called Excalibur. And I have a feeling that you might be linked to it."

Saber: "Even if you were able to piece it together, I would never hand over this blade to someone as wicked as you. Either surrender or I will claim your life.

Hilda: "Oh, you can keep that relic! After all, I'm going to obtain the Insulator to achieve my goals anyway and there's nothing you can do to stop it!"

Saber: "Your arrogance will prove to be your undoing. I gave you a choice to surrender with your life intact, but now you won't walk away at all."

Hilda: "I believe it's you who won't be walking away from this battle you so called "Heroic" Spirit! Prepare to be sent back to hell where you belong!"

*The scene transitions to the fight*

Saber Arcade Story

Prologue [Location: Sleeping Fountain Plaza]

*Saber and her master, Shirou Emiya find themselves in an unknown location sometime after defeating Berserker. Eventually, the Heroic Spirit regains herself*

Saber: "What in the world just happened? Where is this...?"

"Shirou! Are you okay?"

Shirou: "Saber? Y-yes, I'm okay."

Saber: "I am relieved to hear that Master."

Shirou: "W-where are we though? Weren't we at the household?"

Saber: "We were just in the living room with Rin and Illya moments ago. However, while we were having conversation, a strange sense of vertigo suddenly washed over me."

"Afterward a moment of dizziness, I woke here and found you."

Shirou: "I see..."

Saber: "Furthermore, doesn't it strange that this occurred after we defeated Berserker? When that strange sensation hit me, it felt like the day you summoned me as your Servant."

Shirou: "But how does that explain my presence here then? I'm not a Heroic Spirit. Besides, if that really is the case, shouldn't we be in Fuyuki City? This place doesn't feel like we are..."

Saber: "Come to think of it, you are correct. While we can still use our magic circuit, the air flow of this place is completely different and yet... somehow similar."

"On top of that, there appears to be a dark presence here in this place. I don't like it and I can't ignore this..."

Shirou: "Saber, I understand what you are thinking and while I agree with you, what about Rin and Illya? What if they got sent here as well?"

Saber: "You raise a valid point. In that case, we should divide and conquer."

"You go search for Rin and Illya. If they got caught up in this situation, helping them is a top priority. I will investigate the area and see what is going on here."

Shirou: "Alright! You take care Saber."

Saber: "And you stay safe too Shirou."

(To herself) 'Is this phenomenon connected to the Holy Grail War...? This sort of thing never happened before.'

'Is this a sign of misfortune to come? I don't understand, but for now, we must center our focus on the current situation.'

*A moment after Shriou leaves, Saber heads out herself as the 1st stage, with the first randomized opponent, loads up*

Stage 3

Vs. Hyde [Location: Skyscraper's Rooftop]

*Saber wanders the strange streets of this unknown city and she eventually concludes one defining thing*

Saber: (To herself) 'Hmmm... after careful observation, I can safely conclude that this isn't Fuyuki City...'

'That... and suddenly being attacked by people with supernatural abilities confirms it. Even more so sense none of them are Heroic Spirits or Magus'...'

'But that raises the question though... where are we?'

*As Saber thinks to herself, a young boy appears behind her*

Hyde: "Hey! What are you doing here!?"

*Saber calmly turns to face him*

Saber: 'Another one? He seems... different...'

(To Hyde) "To be honest with you... I'm trying to figure that out while defending myself from these strange people. The air of this night... it's completely wrong and neither of my assailants are neither Heroic Spirits or Magus."

Hyde: "Ummmm... what...? I didn't understand any of that, but are you trying to say you're not some In-Birth dressed up as a knight or something?"

Saber: "In-Birth? So that is what these supernatural foes are called..."

*Slightly Embarrassed* "And how rude! I don't "dress" up as a knight! I have earned my right to be called one!"

Hyde: "Whoa, calm down! Sorry about that. I suppose it means you're not from around here... first that Miss Eltnum chick and now this..."

Saber: "...?"

Hyde: "Anyway, if you're not an In-Birth or a cosplayer, who are you exactly? People shouldn't be walking around the Hollow Night."

Saber: "You seem to be giving a lot of information to someone who has no idea what this means. Although I am greatful for the information."

"If you wish to know for who I am. I am a Heroic Spirit sent here from another destination."

Hyde: "So... I'm fighting a ghost or something? Kind of hard to believe that sense I'm talking to you..."

Saber: "I normally wouldn't waste time doing so, but perhaps a match should ease your doubts..."

(To Herself) 'This shouldn't take too much time at least...'

Hyde: "Alright then, Miss "Spirit". If it's a fight you want, then I'll give it my best shot!"

*The scene transitions to the fight*

Stage 6

Vs. Hilda [Location: Eastern Area: Children's Playground]

*Saber wanders around a playground, trying to make sense of this strange world*

Saber: "These In-Births are very peculiar. Some are good of heart while others are certainly wicked. However, they are certainly not the source of the problem."

"At least... compared to you..."

*Saber looks in the direction of a woman wearing a dress that is half black and half white with one of her eyes a fearsome red*

Hilda: "Ah, so you have noticed me, have you?"

Saber: "Hard not to sense your emanating such murderous intent towards me..."

(To herself) 'That dark presence I felt earlier... it's coming from this woman. Is she the reason Shirou and I were sent to this place?'

Hilda: "Well, I have a reason to want to snuff you out! I heard about a woman in a knight cosplay having defeated the boy with the Insulator! To make matters worse, the Princess of the Night Blade dragged him away before I could find him!"

Saber: (To Hilda) "Ah, you mean the young man with the red blade? I noticed his sword matched mine in every possible way. So I take it you intended to do something vile with his weapon?"

Hilda: "I was to obtain eternity as a Re-Birth with it and now you took it from me!"

Saber: "Immortality? So you fear death?"

Hilda: "I fear nothing! If I'm to free the Hollow Night from Night Blade and Licht Kries, I must do what I can!"

Saber: "Delusional justification and nothing more. I suppose that's the reason me and my master have ended up here?"

Hilda: "You're saying you're not from around here? Furthermore, I can't help but notice your invisible blade. My sources say it's actually a golden blade from times of old known as Excalibur. Am I right?"

Saber: "..."

Hilda: "Your silence says it all. It may work as a substitute for the Insulator to help me open the Gate to the Abyss. Give me that blade and I might forgive your transgressions."

Saber: "No!"

Hilda: "Care to repeat that again?"

Saber: "I refuse to hand over the holy sword to someone as wicked as you. I also won't turn a blind eye to your evil. Either you give up your worthless quest or I will strike you down."

Hilda: "How about this? I kill you, take your sword and achieve eternity. Sounds better to me."

Saber: "Your evil knows no bounds. Prepare to face your end."

*The scene transitions to the fight*

Stage 9

Vs. Linne [Location: The Freeway: Lower Area]

*Saber arrives underneath the freeway where she meets up with Shirou*

Shirou: "Saber! Glad to see you're okay!"

Saber: "Same here. I am relieved to see you are unharmed. Have you found out anything?"

Shirou: "It turns out we're in another world in a city called Kanzaki and we're in the middle of something called the "Hollow Night"."

"I also found out that Rin and Illya weren't sent here with us."

Saber: "Ah... that's good to hear."

Shorou: "What about you Saber?"

Saber: "Well..."

*The screen briefly fadess to black before it cuts back*

Shirou: "To think we were dragged into this because of that? What happened to that women?"

Saber: "I mearly incapacitated her. I was tempted to take her life to prevent future problems, but I ultimately saw no need sense her plans were foiled to begin with."

Shirou: "I see... even if you did take her life, I wouldn't have resented you."

Saber: "Thank you for understanding. Although... we should have been sent back to where we came from."

Shirou: "I did hear about a unique individual named Eltnum... she's not an In-Birth, but she should be able to help us return home."

Linne: "And that is where I must step in."

Shirou: "What? A... a child?"

Saber: "Shirou! Behind me!"

Shirou: "Huh? Saber, what do you mean by that?"

Saber: "Deapite her appearance, I can tell that she has the eyes of a warrior... someone who's lived a long time. Just like a Heroic Spirit. Am I wrong?"

Linne: "You're on the money. I have indeed lived a long time."

"But to think you have keen insight? I suppose it must make sense for a knight to have such skill considering you defeated both Hyde and Paradox."

Shirou: "Hyde and Paradox? Could she be talking about the boy with the red sword and that woman seeking him?"

Saber: "Most likely. But I doubt that's the only reason she's here..."

Linne: "Correct. Your power is extremely dangerous sense you beaten them. While I wouldn't have lost sleep if you killed Paradox, the fact you beat Hyde concerned me."

Saber: "I have no intention of killing your friend if that was your concern."

Linne: "I see that now. However, your friend mentiond that girl, Eltnum. She's quite an anomaly and you're another one. That, combined with your power means I can't let you both wander freely."

Shirou: "Look, we just want to return home. That's all what we want."

Linne: "I apologize in advance if you don't like the fact that I don't trust you. So are you going to listen... or will I have to take you both down?"

Saber: "It seems you have forced my hand. Shirou, stand back. I'll handle this."

Shirou: "Okay... I don't like this... but I trust you."

Linne: "Very well. You've made your choice... and it appeares to be your last."

*The scene transitions to the fight*

Final Stage

Vs. Eltnum [Location: Training Stage]

*After knocking out Linne, Saber and Shirou suddenly find themselves in a strange location that isn't Kanzakai*

Shirou: "W-what in the world!?"

"Where are we and... what happened to that girl?"

Saber: "I'm not sure... whatever the case, it doesn't seem we're in that strange city anymore."

*Suddenly, a girl with a long braided ponytail appears*

Eltnum: "As it should be, considering you weren't supposed to be there to begin with."

Shirou: "Huh? Who is she?"

Saber: "I don't know... but for some strange reason, it feels like I know her somehow. Do I know you?"

Eltnum: "Maybe some alternate version of me. However, that's not why I'm here Saber."

Saber: "How do you know my name? More importantly, are you another In-Birth from that city?"

Eltnum: "To answer your second question first, no I am not an In-Birth from Kazakai. I am a mere Guest shall we say. As for that first question, let's say I'm... well informed to say the least."

Saber: "While I appreciate you answering the latter, avoiding the former question gives cause for concern."

Eltnum: "Not even if I help you return home?"

Shirou: "What do you mean by that?"

Eltnum: "Simple, we both ignite our Magic Circuit to undo the phenomenon that sent you both to Kanzakai. Right now, we're in a space between both Kanzakai and your world."

"I managed to intervene while you were fighting Linne earlier, so we just need to creat more dimensional enegies through our clash of wills!"

Shirou: "I don't get what you are saying... but you're suggesting that Saber needs to fight you to send us back home."

Eltnum: "That's what I just said! However, she needs to win this fight while I give everything I have or it won't work. The player needs a final challenge after all."

Saber: "I don't understand that last part... however, if you intend to help us through that method, I will give all I have against you!"

Eltnum: "I wouldn't have it any other way Proud Knight-King. Shower me with your divine blade!"

Saber: "Very well then! Shirou, I'll leave the cycling of the Magic Circuit to you!"

Shirou: "Alright! Do your best Saber!"

*The scene transitions to the final fight*

Aftermath

[Location: Training Stage]

*Saber and Eltnum has concluded the battle with Shirou focusing the energies from the battle as he and Saber begin to fade away*

Eltnum: "Well... well fought Saber... you truly are my superior in every way... you have my highest respect."

Saber: "Same here... you're mannerisms may be strange, but your fighting ability is impressive."

Shirou: "Saber! I think we're beginning to return home!"

*As soon as Shirou says that, he vanishes*

Saber: "So it would seem... thank you..."

Eltnum: "Eltnum... but you can call me Sion."

"Best of luck to you."

*With that, the screen turns white as Saber returns to her world*

Ending

[Location: Fuyuki Bridge]

*After the flash of light, Saber, in her casual clothes, and Shirou both find themselves of the Fuyuki Bridge*

Saber: "Ah!"

"Shirou, is this...?"

Shirou: "The Fuyuki Bridge! We're back home!"

*With that, Shirou's cell phone rings and he answers it. After a few moments, he hangs up*

Saber: "Was that Rin?"

Shirou: "Yeah... and she's worried sick... not that I blame her sense we vanished on her Illya so suddenly..."

"Still, to think we got dragged into that world because of Paradox's desire for immortality..."

Saber: "Regardless, the point is we managed to foil her plot. Even if we weren't there, I'm certain that Hyde and Linne would have stopped her."

Shirou: "Even after what Linne tried to do to you?"

Saber: "Well, you took Illya in after we defeated Berserker after all."

Shirou: "You got me there."

"Let's head back Saber. We have a lot of explaining to do."

Saber: "Right."

*Saber is shown having a meal with Shirou, Rin and Illya*

Saber: (To herself) 'In the end, we were able to leave that strange city, Kanzakai, behind us as we returend to Fuyuki City to continue our battle in the Holy Grail War.'

'It's strange... both cities are tied to some strange premonition with uncertain factors behind them..."

'But... I will obtain the Grail and make things right...'

'Even so... Shirou... you may not hear this from me...'

'But... I appreciate all that you and Rin have done for me...'

'Even when my time comes... I thank you for all you have done for me, Master.'

And with that, our King of Camelot has vanquished the darkness in the Hollow Night. I do apologize if I got aspects of Saber's character worng for I didn't see much of Fate beyond the more important parts, but I hope I was accurate with her in this story.

Next time, we will witness a new chapter in the tale of two sisters, a swordsmaiden and a fairy specifically.
