I originally planned to have this posted on Halloween given the medias these two characters are from but due to work scheduling I was not able to do so. Here in our elite fight club we have gathered doctors, medical scientists and weapons experts to test out the lethal arsenals wielded by each of our combatants to determine who would win a fight between two certified madmen of the apocalypse.

''Welcome back to another battle readers and today we're pitting two certified madmen who did whatever it takes to survive in the apocalypse. Today it's Colonel Garret from Days Gone going up against the Governor as he appears from the Walking Dead tv series.'' DeadAliveManiac started off.
''These are two very dangerous and insane men we're talking about here. Colonel Garret has this goal in mind to wage a holy war against the Freaker plague whereas the Governor just does whatever he can to survive and that meant taking out other human survivors without mercy.'' Zivon96 explained.
''Both these men will do absolutely anything to not only stay alive, but to stay in power too. Colonel Garret demanded absolute order and discipline within the Deschutes County Militia whereas the Governor ruled through fear to get everyone in line. Its the subtle differences between the two that will determine who lives and who dies.'' MKDemiGodzilla-Warrior said.
''Two very nutty and batshit crazy leaders of two thriving survivor communities. Both men wanted to build something that can last in the apocalypse only to fail later on thanks to the actions of the protagonists within their mediums. Let's see who's more batshit crazy.'' Its Rice Man concluded.
A U.S. military veteran and former addict, Garret founded the Deschutes County Militia during the apocalypse to eradicate the Freakers. However, his fanatical religious views gradually warped his mind and resulted in him becoming dangerously unstable. He was a religious fanatic who believed that the end of the world was coming and that he received a vision from God to preserve the righteousness of humanity.
''This dude believed that he and his militia are humanity's only hope for survival. Colonel Garret had been seeking to recruit more survivors and would assign scientists to develop weapons to use against the Freakers. While he was just a damn nutcase he was a very ruthless and effective leader who will no doubt give the Governor a big challenge.'' Rice Man explained.
Colonel Garret and his militia come armed with a professionally made arsenal used to wage Holy War against both Freaks and human survivors.

What will happen when the religious Colonel goes up against an equally vicious and insane leader of another survivor community who had absolutely nothing to lose?
The Governor, real name Philip Blake was just an ordinary guy with a wife and daughter before the apocalypse ravaged the world. He and several other survivors banded together and traveled the undead world until they came across the abandoned town of Woodbury. After building walls to secure the small town his leadership and charisma earned him his moniker.
''This guy was charismatic there's no doubt about that and while he had a small circle of loyal henchmen he was still very dangerous even to them He has this vision where he's surviving and fighting for humanity when he really has no humanity left and fights only for himself. There's no way the Colonel is gonna get away from this fight without losing a limb or worse, his life.'' Rice Man explained.
The Governor and his henchmen defended themselves against the walker hordes with an arsenal gained from their massacring of other survivor communities.

When both madmen took on infected and other survivors up close they relied on their most lethal sidearms. Up first will be Colonel Garret with one of the most well known pistols.
"I bring the Sig Sauer P226. It's a German-made 9mm pistol that holds 15 rounds and can be customized to hold up to 20. It weighs 34 ounces and fires by standard the 9x19 parabellum cartridge.'' Colonel Garret expert Deacon St. John said presenting his weapon.
''We've seen this pistol plenty of times in our regular DW and there's no doubt it is one of the best weapons used in modern warfare. To test it out we'll have you by having you gun down a group of targets which will consist of 5 blood filled bottles and 3 swarmers who will be charging right at you. You will have one magazine to get the job done alright?'' DAM explained.
''You got it.''
Deacon then took his position on the firing line.
''In that case, 3...2...1...open fire!''
The 3 swarmer stand ins begin wheeling their way toward Deacon at a fairly fast speed and wasting no time Deacon aims his pistol and fires two shots into the first swarmer and while he missed one shot the other struck the swarmer in the chest. Setting his sights on the next swarmer he takes a second to acquire his target and fires several shots into its chest before popping the stand in in the skull blowing the back of the skull out. He takes aim at the final stand in and it comes charging toward him and delivers a single shot through the head stopping the stand in in the process.
''Nice, he took them down nice and quick.'' Rice Man commented.
With the swarmer targets dealt with Deacon then takes aim at the blood bottles and fires one shot at the first bottle and pops it. Feeling comfortable with himself he wasted no time in emptying his last few rounds into the rest of bottles destroying them all in no time.
''I'm done!'' Deacon called out.
Zivon then walks over to assess the damage.
''We'll get the bottles out of the way and I won't even state the obvious with you hitting all of them but let's say instead of bottles these were people's heads you would've killed them in one shot each and that is all you need to take a person, walker or freaker down. Moving on to the swarmer stand ins I see the first one here has two shots center mass with one hitting a lung and the other hitting the heart for an instant kill. The second swarmer the headshot is an obvious kill but the chest shots were the nasty ones. You shot both the lungs and the aorta is struck so even if you didn't hit the aorta the two lungs being destroyed would lead to a kill. Lastly this swarmer is an obvious kill, one shot to the head.'' explained the good doctor.
''All targets are dead and I clocked your work at about 37 seconds and only one shot missed which isn't bad at all.'' Demigod said.
''That's what we should expect from the psychopath like the Colonel. Yeah he was batshit insane but he was trained.'' Deacon added.
The Governor responds to Colonel Garret's accurate shooting with his own modern and battle proven firearm.
''The Beretta 92SB was the Governor's preferred sidearm. It fired the same cartridge as the SIG Sauer with the same magazine size of 15 rounds and weighs the same at 34 ounces.'' Rick explained holding his pistol for the panel to see.
''Then it's the same exact test for you Rick. You have one magazine to prove your point except you'll have 3 walker stand ins.'' DAM explained.
Rick nodded and got into position and as soon as DAM gave the signal the sheriff raises his pistol and takes aim at the walkers as they shambled toward him and aiming at the first one he pops off a round and strikes it right in the mouth before sending another round right in the neck for good measure. Taking aim at another walker he pops out three shots with two hitting it in the chest and the other hitting it dead center through the forehead. Wasting no time with his last walker standing he sends one round straight through the skull before setting his sights on the bottle targets. Rick fires off a shot at one of the bottles but the bullet flies harmlessly past it.
''Oh darn that sucks.'' Demigod commented.
Not letting the miss bother him Rick fires again and this time hits the target popping the bottle before aiming at the second one and fires a shot that hits it without fail. Aiming at the third, fourth and fifth bottles Rick fires one shot at each respectively and hits them all without fail and smirks at his work.
''I think we're done here.'' said the Sheriff as Zivon walks over.
''I'm not really gonna go into detail about the damage done on the walkers since it is basically the same as what we saw with the swarmers but why the heck not. Since these are walkers and not swarmers you really have to hit them in the head every time to instantly kill them and you accomplished that really well. Even the mouth shot would be enough to put down the walker alone due to the trauma. If we were to shoot people instead the chest shots you got would be sufficient enough to kill since you're hitting important organs like the lungs and even the aorta for an instant kill.
''And we're seeing that you hit 13 out of 15 shots for a hit percentage of 86.67% which is not bad at all.'' DAM commented.
''Remember this guy is missing an eye and shooting with his non dominant one so getting a hit percentage like that is amazing.'' Demigod said.
After testing out these two pistols which one do the panelists believe takes the edge?
''For me I'm calling this one even for how similar these two pistols are.'' DAM explained.
''I disagree and give this one to Colonel Garret. He's a veteran and would therefore have the training to use a weapon properly compared to the Governor who had to learn as he goes.'' Zivon countered.
''Disagree with you there and give this one as an even edge. Both pistols performed almost identical and with that I can't give one the edge over the other.'' Demigod said.
''Agreed, while the Governor's ability to aim and shoot with an eye missing and hit accurately puts him on an almost even level with the Colonel. Edge even.'' Rice Man concluded.
In short range weapons the edge is even.
Coming up next, two lethal shotguns brings forth destruction on the infected and then later two world class assault rifles come forth.

Colonel Garret and the Governor, two fanatically insane maniacs who had absolutely nothing to lose. If these two nutcases fought who would win?
When walkers and freakers came too close for comfort both men brought out two deadly shotguns to blow the infected away. Up first will be the Governor with his trusted Ithaca 37.
''The Ithaca 37 was a weapon used to deadly effect by the Governor. It weighed 6 and a half pounds, fired 12-gauge buckshot and could hold 5 shells.'' Rick explained holding his weapon for the panel to see.
''I'd like to see the carnage that can do to a charging walker.'' DAM said before pointing toward the target, ''Right there we have an attack bot to represent this shambling walker and we will give you the opportunity to empty that weapon into it.''
''Understood.'' Rick said as he got into position.
''Then on 3...2...1...release the walker!"
The walker attack bot slowly shambles toward Rick and the Sheriff took aim with his Ithaca and fired off one shot that struck the stand in right in the face blowing the head to bits to the awe of the panel.
''GodDAMn that's nasty.'' Demigod commented.
Smirking at the carnage the Deputy aims again and fires off another shot hitting the stand in right in the chest which blows out the chest cavity spilling blood everywhere. He fires off another shot hitting the target where the lung would've been before firing off his final two shots into the gut of the target.
''I think I'm done here.'' Rick called out.
''Shit man, do I even have to explain what happened to this guy? First shot literally blew his head to a million pieces and spilling his mashed up brain all over the ground here, an instant kill. The shot to the chest has been completely blown inside out and his heart is just messed up and he's dead in just one shot and the lung shot was just adding insult to injury. The two shots to the chest completely demolished his belly and his intestines wouldn't just be spilled out, they'd be mushed up and he's dead from the shock combined with the blood loss.'' explained Zivon.
''That's what the Governor liked, sending a message so no one would mess with him.'' Rick commented.
''I can match this shotgun with mine and would be able to kill more people or infected since I have more shells.'' Deacon chimed in.
Colonel Garret responds to the Governor's vicious assault with his own shotgun that has been popular since the 1960s.
''The Mossberg is a shotgun that is very similar to the Ithaca with some differences. It holds more shells at 8 and weighs a little more at 7 and a half pounds.'' Deacon explained.
''It's the same test for you then Deek, we have a swarmer attack bot ready for you so get into position and let's see what you can do.'' DAM said.
''Not a problem at all.'' Deacon said as he gets into position.
''In that case on 3...2...1...send the swarmer!'' DAM called out.
The swarmer bot came speeding toward Deacon and raising his shotgun he aims at the stand in and fires off a shot that hits the swarmer dead center in the chest and he wasted no time in firing another shot in the gut. He pumps the next round in and fires another shot the gut once more before firing off his fourth shot hitting the target in the neck before firing off his last shell hitting the swarmer dead center in the face.
''Too easy.'' Deacon said with a smirk.
Zivon then walks over to assess the damage.
''The two shots in the chest left huge holes in the body that I can literally ball my hand into a fist and fit it right through. Both shots are instant kills on their own and a bad way to go. The gut shots are just gruesome too you literally reduced his intestines and everything in there to mashed potatoes it's just so goddamn nasty man. Another kill on it's own. Your headshot is self-explanatory, blew it to smithereens for an instant kill.''
''I also timed it between the two of you. Rick you got done in 7 seconds compared to Deacon at 11 seconds but both still got the job done and Deacon had more rounds which is why he took longer.'' Demigod commented.
After testing out the killing power of these two brutal shotguns where do our panelists stand?
''I give this one to Colonel Garret for having more rounds with his Mossberg.'' DAM explained.
''I second that notion, more rounds meaning more dead infected.'' Zivon seconded.
''More rounds is really important when you're in the apocalypse so edge Mossberg.'' Demigod added.
''Even though you can't afford to be picky with the Ithaca having less rounds you can't afford to miss when you have more rounds to shoot with the Mossberg. Edge Colonel Garret.'' Rice Man concluded.
In mid-range weapons, the edge goes to Colonel Garret for the Mossberg 590.
Coming up, two modern assault rifles rain death upon the infected and then later two monster machine are brought forth for carnage.

Colonel Garret, Wizard Island's religious and insane leader who wanted to wage a Holy war against the freaker plague. Versus, the Governor, Woodbury's maniacal leader who eliminates all threats be it human or undead without mercy.
When combating walkers or other human survivors at long range these two nutcases came armed with two of modern warfare's best assault rifles.
''Okay Deacon what did the Colonel bring to the table?'' DAM asked.
''Colonel Garret brought the good old M4 carbine which has been the standard issue rifle of the U.S. Army for years. It weighed 6 pounds, fires the 5.56x45mm NATO rounds and has a rate of fire of 700 to 970 rounds a minute.'' explained the veteran.
''Very good, and how about you Rick?''
''The Governor used the Steyr AUG which is a bullpup rifle of Austrian design. It weighed over 7 pounds and fires the same cartridge as the M4 and has a rate of fire at 680 to 750 rounds a minute.'' Rick explained.
To test out the the rifles the panel has set up an infiltration scenario. Both experts will break into a building held by hostile humans and gun down several targets and make their way a room on the top floor where a target will represent the opposition leader.
''Okay Rick you'll be up first with the Steyr. You got one magazine to take out the Deschutes County Militia and the last target will wear the Colonel's signature coat for inspiration.'' DAM called out.
Rick got into position at the front door and when DAM gave him the signal the Sheriff's Deputy quickly opens the door and was greeted by a Militia stand in and the Sheriff fires off a few rounds into the chest before kicking the target over. The Deputy continues forth into the building and makes his way into a room where there were two stand ins and the hardened survivor expertly fires off several shots into each target before moving on.
''He's moving through the really smooth, nice.'' DAM commented.
''Well he is trained law enforcement so it's expected.'' Demigod added.
With that room cleared Rick moves through the other rooms to check for targets before heading into the kitchen and is greeted by a single target which he dispatches with a round to the face. After clearing the first floor the Deputy makes his way up the stairs and when he was halfway up a target popped out at the top of the stairs and the Deputy effortlessly takes it out with a few rounds to the chest. After reaching the second floor the Deputy makes his way to the room where the Garret stand in was and after kicking the door down the Deputy fires multiple shots into the stand in's chest.
''All done!'' Rick called out.
''Chalk this one up to the shooter these first two guys are shot in really bad places to be shot like the lungs and heart. This one in particular has one rounds going straight through his aorta which is more than enough to kill him instantly and there's no saving him. Moving on to these guys we're seeing similar shot placements where the lungs are both punctured, the heart is struck and they're gone. I'm not even gonna look at the rest of these guys because of all the similar shot placements so these are all guaranteed kills.'' Ziovn explained before heading into the room where the Colonel stand in was, ''You riddled this dude's chest and gut with so many bullets you reduced his insides to mush. He's gone.''
''You killed all your targets and have only 1 rounds left in reserve and got through the Colonel's hideout in a minute and 30 seconds.'' Demigod said.
''Alright Deacon you're up next. We'll set up new targets but they'll be placed in different spots.'' DAM said.
Deacon loads his magazine into his rifle and waits at the door.
''Okay Deek on 3...2...1...breach!'' DAM called out.
Deacon kicks the door down and heads right in and is greeted to two Woodbury militia stand ins and with great precision he fires off two shots into each target's face before moving on to the next room.
''Woah that was smooth and fast he didn't even look like he was trying.'' an impressed DAM commented.
''He's a veteran and served in the 10th Mountain Division in Afghanistan. I'm not surprised he's already impressed you.'' Rice Man chuckled.
Deacon slices the pie in one room and seeing there were no targets there he moves on to the next and kicks the door down and was greeted by one target set up behind a turned over sofa and fires off several rounds into the targets chest before another one popped out of the closet. Reacting swiftly he fires off several rounds in the chest before moving on to the kitchen. He spots two targets in there and before they can turn around on him he fires a round into the back of the head of one target before peppering another with a few rounds to the chest. After clearing out the first floor he finally makes his way up to the second where the Governor stand in was and after reaching the door where his final target was he kicks it down and rushes in before firing the rest of his magazine into the Governor's chest.
''Done!''
Zivon then heads in to check the damage done.
''I am impressed by your training Deek, you shot the first two guys in the face with two rounds each and that's just overkill man. They're both dead as can be and you tore huge chunks of their faces off! I can see the teeth of one of these stand ins! The second one has a gaping hole in the back of his head, just bad man. Moving on to the guys in the room with the sofa the closet guy took a few rounds to the chest and you tore right through his aorta for an instant kill and screwed his lungs over. The guy behind the sofa took a few to the chest and one to the neck tearing everything in there with no chance of survival. In the kitchen here you're serving up brains for dinner as you blew open the skulls of these poor chaps here. Their damn brains are all over the stove but they'll be on the floor dead. The chest shots were hitting vital organs as well like the lungs and heart for more kills. Finally for the Governor you reduced his chest cavity into mashed organs and blood for another kill. Looks like Philipp Blake isn't making it back home this time.''
''You used up all your shots and you completed this in a minute and 3 seconds.'' Demigod said.
After testing out the power of these two assault rifles which one does our panel believe take the edge?
''I'm calling this one even across the board. Both weigh almost the same and fire the same round.'' DAM explained.
''I find myself agreeing there. These two weapons performed identical so no edge in my opinion.'' Zivon seconded.
''Yeah same here, no real difference in these two besides design but other than that this is too close to call.'' Demigod added.
''Same, the M4 weighs less but the Steyr is better designed for indoors. Edge even.'' Rice Man concluded.
In long range weapons the edge is even.
Coming up, both these madmen showcase their most powerful arsenals yet and later, Colonel Garret? Or the Governor? Which insane leader will reign supreme?

When hordes of walkers and freakers had to be torn through these two fanatical men brought out the biggest guns they've got.
''Colonel Garret made use of the Heckler Koch MG4. It was a German designed light machine gun that weighed 17 pounds, fired the 5.56x45 NATO round and used a 100-round belt strip.''
''Lovely and beautiful weapon. What about you Rick?'' DAM asked.
''The Governor came armed with an even bigger gun than that and it was the M2 Browning. It was a heavy gun that fired .50 BMG rounds and weighed a ridiculous 83 pounds, tripod makes it 127 total for the whole piece and uses a belt of 200 rounds.'' explained Rick.
''To test out the destruction you guys are about to bring we've set up a small horde of 20 walkers and freakers. 15 will be static and 5 will be coming toward you and Rick you'll be up first with that big boy.'' DAM said.
With assistance from Rice Man Rick gets the Browning set up and waited for the signal from DAM.
''Okay Rick on 3...2...1...fire away!''
The charging walkers began shambling toward Rick and depressing the trigger the Deputy wasted no time in dispatching the charging targets as the weapon roars to life. The power of the weapon being clear the moment the charging targets were struck and were send flying all over the place.
''Holy crap man look at the power.'' DAM commented.
With the charging targets out of the way Rick aims at the static horde and depressed the trigger and ripped through the horde sending dirt, blood and guts flying all over the place. After a few more seconds of flesh and body parts flying all over the place the gun soon clicked empty.
The panel then made their way over to Zivon can assess the damage.
''I can't even tell how many rounds would've hit these guys, but judging by the death every where I don't even need to count since you literally rip through these guys like they were nothing. There's arms, legs, destroyed bodies everywhere and even if you just got hit in the arm and losing it the blood loss will kill you. The horde is just reduced to pulp no more comments needed.'' Zivon explained, a little shaken up at the destruction.
''It's am impressive showing, Deacon are you feeling intimidated?'' DAM asked.
''Not at all. I've used both before but I got the mobility.'' Deacon said unimpressed as be took a position for his horde set up.
''In that case, on 3...2...1...rip em up!'' DAM called out.
Deacon aims his weapon at the charging targets and squeezes the trigger letting out a short burst at the first target hitting it in the chest. He aims at the second charging stand in and fires off another burst hitting it in the chest as well.
''That's great accuracy.'' Demigod commented.
Deacon soon went through his charging targets and to the surprise of the panelists and Rick he got up began to walk toward the horde as he shoulder fires his weapon. The weapons fast fire rate letting out a horrifying roar as it effortlessly ripped through the horde sending blood everywhere and he continued to fire until his weapon finally clicked empty.
''All done!''
Zivon then makes his way over to assess the damage.
''I'm seeing great accuracy with this thing especially with the charging walkers. As for the horde I don't have to go into the detail. Huge holes in the body cavities these guys are all dead on arrival.''
''Rick's time was 36 seconds and your time was 30 seconds. That was also cool how you didn't even wait for the horde to get close you just brought destruction right to them.'' Demigod said impressed.
''That's the advantage I have, I have a faster fire rate and can get right up in there with a horde of freakers or walkers.'' Deacon said with a nod.
After testing out these two deadly machine guns which one does our panel believe take the edge?
''I give this all to the Browning based on having more and bigger bullets.'' DAM started off.
''I like the MG4 for its amazing accuracy but the destruction the Browning brought won me over in the end.'' Zivon seconded.
''Oh definitely. If I had to choose which one to use against a horde I'd take the Browning no doubt.'' Demigod commented.
''I guess we're unanimous then, edge Browning.'' Rice Man concluded.
In special weapons the edge goes to the Governor for the M2 Browning.
Coming up, two insane leaders of the apocalypse clash and only one will be crowned the 'Deadliest Warrior'!

Welcome back to the Fight Club, here we tested out four weapons used by two insane leaders of the apocalyspe.
For short range weapons both the SIG Sauer and Beretta were deemed equal.
''Same magazine size, same round it's too even to call.'' DAM explained.
Edge: Even
For mid-range weapons, the Mossberg 590's capacity for more rounds destroyed the Ithaca 37.
''More rounds and in an apocalypse that's really important, nuff said.'' Zivon explained.
Edge: Colonel Garret
For long range weapons both the M4 Carbine and Steyr AUG performed equally.
''Like the pistols they fire the same round, weight almost the same and are good for close quarters so no edge.'' Demigod explained.
Edge: Even
And finally, for special weapons the sheer power of the M2 Browning ripped apart the HK MG4.
''More rounds and bigger bullets will rip through anything you aim at. It's just more deadly and useful in the apocalypse.'' Rice Man explained.

Now our resident metalhead and computer wizz Metal Harbinger will evaluate the x-factors.
''Let's get this done!''
''First and foremost I started with training and gave this one to Colonel Garret for obvious reasons, dude was in the military so he would know how to use and operate his weapons more efficiently compared to the Governor who was just a normal guy before the fall. 90 to an 80 respectively.''
''For brutality this one went to the Governor for many reasons. This dude murdered several National Guardsmen just to steal their vehicles and weapons, this dude had no qualms of massacring everyone at the prison and there's no doubt he would've killed a young Carl and his infant sister Judith. This guy was just another breed man so he won with a 100 to the Colonel's 95.''
''For psychological health this was a really tough one to decide since on one end you had a former addict and batshit crazy religious fanatic who got more crazy as he lost important members of his militia like Doctor Jimenez and Captian Kouri. On the other end you have some goddamn murdering lunatic who sought the complete destruction of Rick and his group and that insanity got him killed in the end. I decided to rate these nutcases really low with a 20 each.''
''For leadership this one went to the Colonel since he established a highly organized, heavily disciplined and dangerous militia. He also assigned scientists and researchers in hopes they can develop weapons to combat the freaker plague. The Governor's group were organized as well but not to the same level as the Colonel that shows what he is capable of as a leader. Colonel Garret, as soon as he felt threatened by other survivor camps like Lost Lake he began to wage his war against them whereas the Governor's surprise attack on the prison forced Rick and company to seek a new home and led to the deaths of many important characters like Hershel. Had both men bided their time the resistance from Lost Lake and the Prison group would've been much stronger, that's what makes them so deadly.''

Night had fallen upon the surviving inhabitants of Wizard Island and along a dirt road leading to the island a lone National Guard humvee was seen speeding down the road.
After being forced out of Georgia entirely after losing his battle against Rick and the prison survivors the Governor was seen in the passenger seat of the humvee. It was through sheer luck he even managed to escape with his four best men after losing the battle against Rick and seeing no choice he and his men have decided to head out west to rebuild and not even that insane Colonel Garret would stop him.
In the Governor's lap was his trusted Steyr AUG and on top of the humvee one of his men was on the mounted M2 Browning.
The Governor: 5
Elsewhere on Wizard Island the infamous Colonel Garret was seen giving a speech to his few remaining men. After his group and what remained of the Governor's encountered one another his group was soon reduced to almost nothing following attacks from the Governor and his men and the encroaching hordes of freakers and walkers but that did little to deter the Colonel.
Currently he was giving a speech to his men who all stood at ease as he spoke.

''Soon we will confront this Governor in battle and we will emerge victorious against this sinner. After we defeat this man we will ensure the survival of the Deschutes County Militia and we will then vanquish this new undead plague! The end is nigh...''
The sound of a vehicle approaching and crashing through the gates leading to Wizard Island caught the attention of the Colonel and his men and looking in the direction from where the sound was coming from they saw the humvee approaching and before they could react the Woodbury militiaman on the M2 opened fire on the DCM and one of them was ripped to pieces from the massive .50 BMG rounds.
His torn body parts falling to the dirt a messy heap.
The Governor: 5 - Colonel Garret: 4
''It is him! The sinner! Fire back now!'' the Colonel ordered.
His men pick up their weapons and one of his militiamen armed with an MG4 took aim at the approaching humvee opened fire and the driver was killed with a few rounds to the face that completely destroys it.
''Yeah baby take that!'' called out the DCM militiaman.
The Governor: 4 - Colonel Garret: 4
Undeterred by the loss of one man the Governor tries to take control of the humvee but the vehicle crashes into a nearby set of crates and the force of the sudden stop caused his man on the M2 to jerk forward and seeing the opportunity a member of the Deschutes County Militia aims his M4 and sends a few rounds into the man's chest killing him.
The Governor: 3 - Colonel Garret: 4
Recovering from the crash the Governor orders his surviving men to get out and kill the rest of those pesky militia men. Nodding the two subordinates gathered what weapons they could salvage but as soon as they and their leader exit the humvee they were already fired upon by the Colonel's men.
The ensuing gunfire caused them to get down on the ground and they could only stay there as they had no way of advancing.
''Try to get around and shoot them.'' The Governor ordered one of his men.
''Yes Governor.''
The Woodbury soldier takes his Ithaca and slowly makes his way around a set of crates and barrels and peeks around it to see one of the Colonel's men. Taking the chance he jumps out of cover and fires a single blast at the DCM militiaman blowing his head clean off his shoulders.
''Take that asshole!''
The Governor: 3 - Colonel Garret: 3
Hearing the shotgun blast the Colonel, as calm as he was pulled out his SIG and aimed fired several rounds into the Woodbury militiamen's head killing him in one shot.
The Governor: 2 - Colonel Garret: 3
''We must retreat into the ark men! We will make our stand there!'' shouted the Colonel.
''Yes Colonel!'' both his remaining men answered.
The two remaining DCM militiamen escorted the Colonel to the ark and hearing the gunfire stop the Governor and his remaining henchman looked up and saw their enemies retreating into the interior of the island.
''Come on, we're killing this man and taking his head.'' said the Governor.
He and his henchman then give pursuit and follow the Colonel and his men into the ark. Once they reached the entrance they were greeted by gunfire by a DCM militiaman with an M4 carbine. The Governor and his men took cover and waited until their adversary's gun clicked empty and when the DCM militiaman tried to flee the Governor popped out of cover and with his Steyr AUG aims at the man and guns him down in the back with a salvo of rounds.
The Governor: 2 - Colonel Garret: 2
The Governor walks up to the corspe and kicks it with his feet to make sure the DCM militiaman was dead and hearing footsteps he turns around to see his last remaining man coming up from behind him.
''There is only two of them left, let's split up. If you kill the Colonel bring me his head.'' said the Governor.
The Woodbury militiaman nodded and both men took separates paths as they descended into the ark.
The Woodbury militiaman found himself in a lab of sorts that was filled with bottles of napalm molotovs and as he slowly makes his way through the room he turned after hearing a sound from behind him. Turning around he was greeted by the surviving DCM militiaman charging at him and tackles him into the wall.
''Surprise motherfucker!''
The force of the tackle knocked the wind out of the Woodbury militiaman and he tried to fight back but his adversary quickly grabs a Mossberg that was set on a nearby desk and fires off a shot into the man's right kneecap completely destroying it.
The henchman screamed in sheer pain and they were only silenced once the DCM militiamen pumped his chest full of 12-gauge buckshot. The force of the blast sending him falling to the floor a broken heap.
The Governor: 1 - Colonel Garret: 2
The DCM militiamen runs off to find the Colonel and after making his way out of the lab he comes across the stairway that led to the top of the ark. He begins making his way up to rendezvous with his leader only to shot at by the Governor with his Steyr. The DCM militiaman was forced into cover but the constant salvo of bullets from the Governor prevented him from escaping. He clutched his shotgun close to his chest and when the gunfire stopped he popped out to fire at the Governor only to see he was nowhere to be found.
He turned around to continue to head up to meet the Colonel only for the Governor to pop out from behind a concrete barrier and guns him down with his Steyr.
The Governor: 1 - Colonel Garret: 1
At the top of Wizard Island the Governor was seen gathering what supplies he could in his tent with his drifter bike parked outside. While he was confident about winning this Holy war against this Governor but deep down he was shaken by the viciousness of his assault. He searches through every cabinet and desk he had in the tent to gather of much as he could before fleeing the island in hopes of rebuilding his militia to its former glory.
Grabbing his survival bag he turns around only to see the Governor inside his tent with him and the one-eyed man opens fire with his AUG sending the Colonel diving to cover. The Governor empties his last magazine before tossing his rifle aside and draws his Beretta. He slowly makes his way to where the Colonel dove and checks behind everything as methodically and slowly as he could.
He approaches a wall locker and before he could open it the piece of furniture was pushed from the back by the Colonel and taken by surprise the Governor found himself pinned beneath the weight of the locker.
Growling in pain at the weight the Governor tries his hardest to get the locker off him only to find the Colonel standing tall over him with his pistol aimed at him.
''You shall die for bringing unnecessary chaos to my island.'' spat the Colonel.
Before he could squeeze the trigger the Governor summoned the strength to reach his arm out and grabs the Colonel by his boot and uses his strength to pull the man down to his level. He then manages to push the wall locker off of him and with the Colonel still in that compromising position the Governor wasted no time in delivering a kick straight into Colonel Garret's face.
He then grabs Colonel Garret by the collar of his top and proceeds to push him against a table and delivers a flurry of punches to the Colonel's face. In spite of the beating he was receiving the Colonel tried his best to aim his pistol at the Governor only for the deranged one-eyed man to swat the gun away and out of sheer insanity the Governor then bites off two of the Colonel's fingers.
''Agh!''
The Colonel could not do anything but scream in sheer pain as he gets two of his fingers bitten off before the Governor spins him around and grabbing the back of his head slams the Colonel's face repeatedly into the table as hard as he possibly could. He smashes the Colonel's face onto the table one more time before kicking him in the gut and shoves him back against the table.
Badly wounded and beaten the Colonel could only lean helplessly against the wall and glare at the man.
''You are a fool! I hope you burn in the depths of hell!'' spat the Colonel.
The Governor simply shook his head before raising his pistol at the man.
''No.''
The Governor then fires off a single shot into the Colonel's chest hitting his heart killing him.

Watching his enemy's lifeless corpse slump backward onto the table dead, the Governor slowly walks up to the body and stares on in cold indifference.

Following a battle between two insane leaders of the apocalypse it would be the Governor who scraped up a victory with 51% to Colonel Garret's 49%. It was largely thanks to his more powerful M2 Browning and his much more savage nature. The Colonel kept it close with his Mossberg and his M4 Carbine and religious fanaticism.
''While the Colonel was a veteran he was way past his prime and while he was motivated to defeat the freaker plague he came up short against a man with nothing to lose.'' DAM explained.
''Both men are fucking nutcases but when you look at who's scrappier, I kinda expected the Governor to win just based on that.'' Zivon seconded.
''Huh I was kinda rooting for Colonel Garret due to his past military training but I guess it doesn't matter if you aren't keeping your skills sharp.'' Demigod commented.
''I'm honestly not surprised by the outcome of this fight. While Colonel Garret was military trained he did not actively participate in runs and actively combating the freaker plague alongside his men. The Governor on the other hand was more physically capable, in his prime, actually out there with his men and just too savage for him to handle.'' Rice Man concluded.
''I'm not worked up about the Colonel losing, he was just an insane asshole but I guess the Governor is just worse.'' Deacon said with a shrug.
''The Governor had absolutely nothing to lose and that's the most dangerous man you can fight. There's a reason why we lost the prison and it was because of this sly calculating asshole. I bet I can take on Colonel Garret myself.'' Rick declared.
(The Governor is seen hopping on the Colonel's drifter bike and starts it up. Hearing some sounds behind him he turns to see the now reanimated Colonel Garret shambling toward him. Without showing any emotion he shrugs it off and speeds away just as the Colonel swipes at him.)
