Chapter 1339 Two of sides of the same coin

Captain Smiley and Megamind were at a new world, theres a open field with a restaurant in the distance and a ruined tower on the other side.
"Well a potential member is here." Megamind looks around.
"I wonder what kind of person they are?" Captain Smiley questions.
They heard a scream as a bunch of food monsters got sent flying.
"Were those monsters made from food?" Megamind questions.
"Yes." Smiley said.
They saw the chef called Peppino rush foward and he passes by.
"I think that is our guy?" Megamind said.
Peppino beats up the monsters and take a breather before looking at them.
"Oh hello." Peppino said.
"Greetings, we came to recruit you." Megamind said.
"Recruit me?" Peppino questions.
"Yes to join a team of superheroes." Smiley said.
Peppino thinks about it. "Can you fund my pizza place?"
"Your pizza place?" Megamind questions.
"Yeah, I have debts." He said.
"How bad?" Smiley asks.
"I haven't payed them this month." He said.
"That's not too bad. I believe we can cover your debt." Megamind said.
"Thanks." He shakes his hand
"Now then we should introduce you to the others." Megamind said.
He nodded and follows them.
At another world
Darkman looks around before he saw someone with white paint and black clothing.
Darkman then heads over to him.
The man looks at him and Darkman asked: "Are you the Crow?"
"I am. Who are you?" The Crow questions.
"I am Darkman and I am here to recruit you to join a team of heroes." Darkman said.
"Heroes? I don't see myself as one." He said.
Darkman stares at him. "Suffering?"
The Crow looks at him in surprise.
"How do you know that?" He questions.
Darkman pulls on his wraps surprising Crow before he puts it back. "I know."
"I see. I once had a fiancé but we were killed by a gang who made me watched as they violated her." The Crow said.
"I see, I was once a scientist to make for people to live normal lives after they're skins are burnt, but then a group of mobsters came for it and they dipped me in acid, now even with this abilities I can't feel the touch of my love." He said.
"Sounds like both of us are birds of a feather." The Crow said.
Darkman doesn't like to socialize with many, but the Crow seems different.
"Indeed, well do you wish to join as Shuri asked for me to find you." He said.
"Before I say anything on joining or not do you mind if I ask a few questions about this team?" Crow asks.
Darkman nodded at him.
"First how many are in this team so far?" He asks.
"For now 18 I don't know if they got the other guy or not." Darkman said.
"I see. Do we have funding and a place to gather and crash at?" Crow asks.
"We have a mansion that a ally built, as he wanted to form a team of Heroes to help protect the innocent, since evil can appear anywhere." Darkman said.
"A Mansion?" Crow questions in surprise.
"Yeah, it seems our boss that checks on us based it on a mansion from another team. To make it better for us." Darkman said.
Crow thinks it over.
"Maybe I should give it a try." Crow said.
"Then welcome to the team." He said.
"Thanks. Where is this mansion?" Crow questions.
"Follow me." Darkman said.
Darkman takes Crow to the mansion who whistles at it.
They saw Megamind come with Peppino and Megamind said: "Oh you brought the other one."
"Yes and I see you brought a new member too." Darkman said.
"Yes, I heard Shuri found three." Megamind said.
"Three more?" Darkman said surprised.
Shuri came and they saw with her are three warriors, Ryu Hayabusa, Xena the Warrior Princess and Conan the Barbarian. (Arnold version)
"They seem to be strong warriors." Megamind said.
"These are Ryu, Xena and Conan." Shuri said.
Smiley offers a hand but Conan shakes it with too much strenght making him feel pain.
"You have a very strong grip." Smiley said.
"Sorry about Conan, I found these three as they are warriors." Shuri said.
"Its fine." Smiley said.
"Have you already given them their cards?" Megamind asks.
"Of course, Conan is confused since he and Xena are from a different type of world that's in the past." She said.
"Like medieval times?" Crow asks.
"Yes, Ryu is the one similar to ours." She said.
"I see. Then we'll need to teach them about this era." Darkman said.
"Well let's go." She takes them inside.
They got to know each other as Shuri goes to a office and she had a call from Hank.
"So you guys found more members?" She said.
"Yeah, we got three more people around while Aka and Kazuo found two others, once we find them we'll send them to you." Hank said.
"Well it will be good, the more the better since I can tell we will need all the help we can get." She said.
"Yeah, and they're good, just the three we found aren't part of this world so it's best to send them." Hank said.
She nodded and ended the call before she goes to sort out the new members and they're files.
Shuri has been doing her own scouting and theres been two people she was able to find thanks to Eric and the sub group of Team Light.
They names she pulls out are Jack Joyce and Maxine Caulfield.
"These two will be great members." She smiles hearing about them.
When Eric gave her the files she's been interested in these two as they can be a good duo with they're unique abilities.
"Time to search for them and the others in this vast multiverse." She said.
