Bell began to wonder about many things about his grandmother, despite being called a tyrant even by her children. When Hera said that she is going to teach Bell on how to use a sword. But first, she needs to see his form and techniques in the training room.

He was even allowed to use his new sword and also an interesting detail about his tattooed arm which his grandparents almost forgot to explain (I obviously forgot to put this in the last chapter XD) is that the that the tattoos prevent his arm to ever be destroyed or severed. Which is awesome and useful so that he won't have to worry about losing his sword arm.

Before the training, He was expecting something similar with Ais. And so did it happen? Did she wear wear armor and was carrying a sword and said.

"Show me what you can do?"

Nope.

He is currently sparring or more like getting his ass kicked by a 7 foot tall mechanical bronze golem with a blunt sword. In their start of their sparring match, Bell was surprised at the speed of the machine golem and it had the strength to hurt a level 4. He could take it, but the problem was that the machine had a variety of techniques that it used to overwhelm him.

With attacks that meant to bleed rather then going for the killing blow, blocks against his attacks in ways he never thought of and countering them.

Due to the lack of experience and technique of his new weapon, Bell was completely out matched by its swordsmanship and making it highly difficult to keep up. Bell finally countered an attack and just as retaliate with an overhead swing.

The machine sidestepped the attack and struck his knee forcing to be on one. It pointed its sword at his throat.

"That's enough for today." Hera declared.

It moved away from him, stepping out of the sparring floor placing its sword at the weapon's rack and finally powered down. Bell panted and turned to the sides where Hera stood.

"You need to improve your swordsmanship," Hera advised. "Before you spring back into action."

"Yes I can see that," Bell admitted. "And were did you get that?"

"It is something your Grandfather and I discovered before Orario," She answered. "It is one of the many golems that safeguards the manor and the island."

"Really?!" Bell exclaimed in disbelief.

"Back to the topic first dear," Hera reminded as his excitement died down. "Your swordsmanship is very crude and you need to familiarize of your new weapon other than slashing and thrusting."

"Well at least I'm now familiar with this trick." Bell's sword lit up into a red light as it dissolved into his tattoos.

"Good your a quick learner," Hera commented and was proud of him. "With that, you can surpass your uncles and aunts in no time."

"Thanks grandma," Bell scratched his head. "But don't you think that was abit harsh on my first day of training here."

For a few seconds Hera remained silent and finally. "Before, I respond to that go change because we are going somewhere and also put this on your hair."

Hera gave him a red dye for his hair. Bell widened his as his grandmother left the changing room. Bell did as he was told, He dyed his white hair in to red and had change his newly sown clothes. Although his brown jacket is probably destroyed by now.

The red haired Bell Cranel arrived at the Bifrost gate with his pendant. He saw Hera waiting for him, she spotted him as approached her and the rainbow crystal gate-like structure. She patted his hair and sighed.

"That white hair reminds me of your mother," She said and gave him a brown cloak. "But alas, for your own protection."

Bell shook his head and deep down he really wished he could meet his mother. Hera brought her pendant and the colorful crystals of the gate began to illuminated as a large portal opened within.

"Where are we going?" He asked.

She responded. "A place to answer your question."

She went through the portal and disappeared within the rainbow light. Bell took a deep breath as he wore the cloak and followed the same. Within the portal he felt the wind change and his feet was off the ground.

As he speared through the light and wind. He could see that he is near to his destination. The next thing Bell knew, he dizzily stood within a stone hallway and he could hear loud cheers echo. His wore off from the haziness and saw Hera.

"Your mind is still not use to the experience and if you had been bellow your current level and beast person, you'd be puking here. Come on, we don't want to miss this."

Bell adjust himself as he followed Hera. He heard the cheers growing louder and louder. Bell asked her.

"Where are we?"

she replied. "Melen's secret underground fighting pit." (I'm not much of it's existence and I didn't read the novels so I'm not sure if there actually is one and considering this is a fanfic)

Bell felt tense hoping that his disguise would work and hopes that no Gods would show up. As they reach the open, Bell saw that he was standing beside the cheering audience. At the center of spectacle is a circular fighting ring, in the ring their two fighters circling each other slowly and steady.

The one fighter was a muscular male boaz in boxing stance and had a set scars on his chest. His opponent happens to be female black haired amazoness werewolf who has no stance to begin with and has a scar over the left side of her mouth and appears to be his or closer to his age.

"Bell!" Hera shouted as the crowd cheered louder for the fighters to start. "This way! I have seat for us!"

Bell was able to hear her and followed. They arrived at door with a sign called VIP and a guard standing beside it. The guard and recognized Hera nodded to her.

He turned to Bell who kept his cool as the Guard sternly demanded.

"Show me your name and VIP card."

Bell checked his pockets instinctively and thinking of a way to respond. But fortunately, Hera cut in.

"His name is Arthur Morningstar," She said coldly. "And didn't I told the next time you see me coming here with someone or a group. You must assume that they are with me! Now kneel down and apologize to my child!"

The guard's professionalism facade had shifted into a cowering servant by Hera's voice. Bell was flabbergasted at the display and his grandmother's authority. It made him wondering if she owns the place. Hera gave off a smug look at the guard and entered the room then Bell came in as well.

Bell saw that the room had a luxurious set with along with expensive beverages ready to be served and infront of the large open window is a fine large chair fit for two people and a small table infront of it with a pair glasses and wine. Hera sat at the chair as she watched the fighters still circling each other in a pentagon fighting pit. Bell followed the same watched as the two fighters moved around.

Bell was curious about his new name. "Why did you name me Arthur Morningstar?"

She opened up the wine with a pop not caring if the cork had hit person as she poured into her glass and took a sip and said. "The name Morningstar came from your mother and aunt's. So their full names are Meteria Morningstar and Alfia Morningstar. The name Arthur came from a fictional story which is heavily inspired from the Sword Champion, Albert Waldstein."

Bell's interest peeked and said. "So the Cranel name came from my dad?"

Hera nodded and followed up a twitch on her eye.

They noticed that two fighters had stopped. He noticed at from a far distance the Boaz fighter who looked pissed. The reason of that was because his opponent had bored expression and doesn't to take this seriously.

"Both of them wanted their last names a secret from the public you know."

"Why?"

"They had their reasons," She said. "So I figured I gave their name to you considering your current situation."

Bell rubbed his shoulders uncomfortably and reminisced at the was happened to him in Orario. Back in reality, the boaz engaged first with a strait left jab. The werewolf simply dodged it and the Boaz followed kept going after her.

The speed of two matches that of a level 4, this surprised him and he remembered that Zeus once told him their other ways to raise a level besides the Dungeon. Bell could see that the werewolf seemed to know what she is doing despite her boredom. Her opponent appears to be growing frustrated at this.

He gave a wide swing from his right hoping to reach her. But he felt a fist colliding his liver. The man was on his knee and panting as he spat on the ground. The crowd cheered for the werewolf as a favorite in the ring.

"Heh, I'm not surprised he'd be stupid enough to challenge her." Hera commented.

"You know her?" Bell asked.

"Of course I do," She responded. "She is Ashe Foedel, Hades' favorite assassin and I have seen her a couple of times in the fighting pits and never lost to anyone and from what I have heard she originated from Telskyura. Born to a werewolf breeding slave and an amazon, there is not much difference between her and those who were born in the Country. However Hades said that she have been most dangerous individual he have ever recruited into his Familia. I scoffed of course, when Hades told me she killed her first monster with her bare hands and the only weapons she has ever used from her childhood are a pair gauntlets, the kind that makes her punches more effective."

"Impressive." Bell sweat dropped as he watched the man recovered and tried to tackle her. But she countered by flipping on to his back with an arm throw.

"To most people," Hera said indicating that she is still not impressed. "Her fighting and killing methods still has flaws, but they are still efficient in there own way. She even fought with those gauntlets in the combat rituals too and it is rare to see her use other weapons even with Hades and his Familia."

Bell was confused about one other thing. "So if she is dangerous as what Lord Hades said. Why is she in his Familia? Why would her previous God just allow her to leave the country? Surely she must have past some sort of test."

"Good question dear," Hera responded. "According to Hades, Ashe's previous God was so impressed with her and became curious on how she fairs on what the outside world could throw at her. So her God gave her to Hades, with his familia being an Equalizer Familia and one of the most influential right as of today.

"Equalizer Familia?" Bell repeated. "Is that what we are now?"

Hera nodded. "You will be fighting monsters on surface, similar on how adventurers fought in the dungeon."

"Aren't the monsters here are weak compared to the ones in the dungeon?"

"Yes," She agreed. "But if you are hunting for a stronger monster to kill. All you ever need is the knowledge on where to look. But besides that, you will fighting another kind of monsters."

"What do you mean?" Bell had a feeling that he won't like it.

"People," Hera answered. "You will be fighting people who have become monsters or the worst kind of monsters. So it an Equalizer's job to put them down and there is a saying among them or you might call it some sort of creed. 'For all we see or who we know see all are equal and same. For all life we take or save, all are equal and the same. And to all Equalizers, we are Judge, Jury ,Savior and Executioner'."

Bell became conflicted as he responded. "So your that sometimes in order for an Equalizer to save life, we have to take it?"

"Yes, wether you like it or not." Hera answered stoically.

"But that's too cruel." Bell had never taken a person's life and we wasn't sure if he is mentally ready if the time ever comes.

"That's why I have brought you here for." Hera said and nudged him to look at the fight.

Bell saw Ashe was on top of her bruised opponent and pouring down with fast and brutal punches. The boarman tried defend himself and tried get away. But Ashe's punches had slipped his defenses and one gave him broken nose, another went to the eye and the other had knocked a few of his teeth.

"Okay! Enough! Enough!" The referee had declared and Ashe got of her beaten opponent.

The referee raised her hand and announced. "The winner by Technical Knockout! Cerberus of Hades Familia! Ashe Foedel!"

The crowd cheered as Ashe seemed unsatisfied with her victory. She turned to her God Hades was sitting at the front row outside the pentagon. The God sighed simply gave her a nod.

Ashe shrugged away from the ref and moved towards the boarman who is being carried away by the officials. She slammed and quickly subdue him into an armbar. The Boaz tried desperately prevent the transition to go any further by gripping his hand.

Some of the officials tried to stop her by breaking the submission lock, but were ignored by the werewolf. Ashe leaned forward and gave a strong pull as a sound of a snap was made. Ashe released the Boaz as he screamed in pain as he clutched his broken. More officials came in and carried the Boaz out of the pentagon.

Bell witnessed the display with eyes widened in shock. Hera remained unfazed at the scene and said.

"Not all problems will solved with kindness alone, there are people around the world who view it as a weakness to be exploited. You need to know when to give those kind of people with such ruthlessness because cruelty is a lesson, a consequence, an outcome, or as a means to shape us of who we are. Zeus brought you the dream becoming a hero yes?"

Bell answered with a nod.

"Well I want you be more than that," She said. "I want you be a judge, jury and executioner. To see if those people are deemed either innocent or guilty."

Bell have much thought on his grandmother said. No matter how much he tried to deny it he knew that Hera wasn't wrong about everything. Maybe it is best that he should keep it in mind for the time being.

The red dyed rabbit had a tense feeling looming over him. He noticed that Ashe Foedel was looking at him in the pentagon. Both locked eyes into each other unsure on what to expect from each other.

Hades place a hand on her shoulder telling her that it is time to go. Ashe did as she was told and exited the pentagon.

"I have a feeling that we might cross paths grandma." Bell said to her as she was aware on what has happened.

"Then it is best you should prepare on going to be thrown out you." Hera smiled and raised her glass at him and drank.
