Bell in his wolfram armor, rode on horse back for the contract which Hera had picked for him. He set to meet the one who posted the commission about that driven him and his people out of their village. He saw the a sign to his left which points to his alleged destination.

This indicated that he is near, Bell nudged his horse to move faster. He reached a large camping area and noticed something disturbing. He saw people frightened people that are injured and amputated limbs.

He noticed that some of them are mourning and crying at the corpses which were bloodied covered in sheets. Bell stopped got of his horse and dismounted.

'What happened here?' He wondered.

"Your the one who accepted the commission I posted?"

Bell looked around to see a middle age light brown skinned human who's black hair tied in ponytail and with a bandaged left arm.

He assumed. "And you are the village chief and from the looks of it you have been driven out of you homes?"

The chief nodded. "Let's take this discussion inside my tent."

Bell Cranel and the chief went inside the tent. The chief pulled out a chair at the table as he sat on his. Bell sat and began his discussion of with the chief.

"So what am I dealing with?"

The chief took a deep breath. "A wendigo, I am sure you have heard the stories."

"An evil formless spirit that can possess a man or women who has resorted to cannibalism, thus becoming a flesh eating monster with an unending hunger," Bell brought up. "My grandfather and the elders of my village told me stories when I was a boy. Now with that out of the way, when did it began?"

"It started last night," The Chief grimaced. "One of the guards claimed that they heard screaming. He led a group to find the source and found out it was a Wendigo that devouring an unfortunate man. It killed most of the group, but the surviving guard was able to warn to the people that a wendigo had broke in. The people were in panic. Some tried to fight it off and while the others evacuated the area."

The Chief stopped and sniffed as tears flow from his eyes. "My son he-"

Bell raised his hand. "Don't, I think that would be enough."

Bell sympathized the Chief for his loss. He recalled about Hera said to him back in Melen.

"Knowledge on where to look."

'I hope this wolfram armor can take a beating.' Bell thought.

The Chief seemed to calm down from his grief and gathered his breath. "Thank you Master Equalizer."

"Um, no need to call me master," Bell said embarrassingly. "I'm just a professional who's going to do his job."

"I appreciate your modesty," The Chief nodded in respect. "And forgive me for forgetting my manners. But your name is?"

"Arthur Morningstar," The red dyed rabbit rose from his seat and said like professional. "And I've got a job to do."

The Chief gave him a nod and Bell exited the tent. The people to get a look at him and they all began to mummer amongst themselves.

"Is he really going to kill the monster?"

"He seems so young."

"He's gonna die."

Bell ignored them and he asked a man nearby for directions. He noticed that there was a crying child hugging on the man's leg. The Equalizer stopped on his tracks, but the man noticed him with his bloodshot eyes and tears stream on his face.

Bell noticed that there was a body covered in a blanket stained with blood. He felt bad for approaching them.

"I'll go ask another person?" Bell said just as he was about to leave.

"Just go straight in the woods," The man spoke in a vengeful tone. "Avenge my wife and kill that monster."

Bell nodded silently.

He went into the woods and he can already smell the foul stench. Bell pressed and followed the trail of blood and footprints. He finally reached the village

empty and deserted.

Bell saw flies hovering of the corpses of those who were unable to escape. He remembered that Wendigos hunt at night. He looked up at the sky and seeing that night will begin soon. He immediately find shelter.

Night falls in the area, the Equalizer sat on a log in a barn with a campfire lighting up. Bell waited patiently for the monster to come. He kept his Beast's Gravestone out next to him with his hand on the handle.

He heard the sounds of something latched on to the ceiling drawing nearer to him. The monstrous figure leaped towards Bell with its claws and fangs.

Bell faced the monster directly and shielded himself with his greatsword. It struck the blunt surface of the sword. Bell quickly swatted it away and the wendigo landed the ground growling at him.

In the darkness, Bell had a shallow view on the Wedingo. Its appearance is humanoid, a shadow of it's formerself before the possession began with its nails now turned into razor sharp claws and eyes now glowing red. Its limbs are longer than the average person and the skin is stretched enough that it's bone can be seen.

Bell kept his guard up by the fire, the monster in the dark stood up in it's full height and roared at him. Bell winced at the volume of the roar and he quickly shouted.

"Ensnare!" Purple tendrils of lightning spat out from marbles that were hidden on the ground wrapping the roaring monster thrashing to break free.

'I have to end this now!' Bell mentally exclaimed.

Bell swung his greatsword at the wendigo's neck. The blade hit its skin the monster shook from the blow, but the skin withstood it like armor and yet left a small open wound. Bell cursed underneath his breath knowing that he is not strong enough.

The wendigo growled loudly at him, it's right broke the binds and backhanded him away. Fortunately, Bell was quick enough to raise his sword to block it and avoid getting his head crack open. The Equalizer tumbled on the ground and quickly regained his footing.

Be saw that the monster began to rip the rest of its bondage off. He raised his and casted his spell.

"Firebolt!" The fire like lightning bolt went towards towards the Wendigo.

It ripped the the last of the binds and dodged the spell. The firebolt spell ended up the doors of the barn resulting an explosion. The monster quickly struck Bell's armor and knock him outside the barn. Bell groaned as he laid on the ground.

'If my armor wasn't this tough,' He thought. 'I'd be dead already.'

Bell used his sword as a cane and got up on his feet. He focused on the growling Wendigo and bared it's sharp teeth. It peered by the hole he came out of.

'Okay this thing is faster than anyone on my level,' He thought. 'And the skin is tough enough to withstand my attack I need to try something else.'

The monster roared at him again and leaped towards him. Bell swung his sword sending it on rolling the ground.

'And I've delt monsters like you before!' Bell took out his chain spear.

The Wendigo looked at the new scar on left side of its chest. The monster growled in irritation and took off into the village. Without any hesitation, Bell chased after it.

It didn't take long as Bell lost the trail, he kept calm and stayed vigilant. He carried his chain spear in hand waiting for the monster to pop up. Bell found himself at the center of the village.

Nearby the Wendigo was stalking him on top of a building. It crouched on it's hind legs. Just as when Bell was in it's range, the monster pounced at Bell. All of a sudden, something struck it from the air.

The Wendigo was crashed into a wagon and rolled on the dirt. It regained it's sense and saw what hit it. It was the Beast Gravestone floating in the air.

The monster roared at the sword. The searing chain spear struck right into the scar and it roared in agony.

"Gotch-whoa!"

Bell was hauled off from his footing as the Wendigo ran with the chain spear cooled down. It dragged Bell on the ground, slamming him to the houses and smash through several objects such as tables, chairs, signs, and fences. They were at the main road and Bell shifted his feet infront.

He dug his heels in and dug the fingers of right hand as well. Bell pulled the chain with his left hand causing the monster to tumble and the spear was ripped out from it's body. The monster screamed in pain and lunged at Bell in retaliation.

Bell stood his ground and opened his right hand. The Beast's Gravestone returned to his hand in a blink of an eye. The greatsword ignited in flames and Bell swung it at the monster.

The sword sliced through the striking arm

of the monster and made it all the to it's neck killing it. Bell breathed heavily and looked down at monster's corpse which did not disintegrate.

"Well that was thrilling." Bell said to himself.

For some reason he felt a slight push from behind. Bell looked back and nothing was there.

'What was that?' He wondered.

Bell didn't wish to waste anytime and wrapped his chain on his kill and began to drag it away to camp.
