Bell dragged the corpse of the monster to the camp with his chains, its head in a sack tied to his belt as a trophy. Upon arriving, people immediately surrounded him, eager to see his kill. Some appeared relieved that the nightmare was over, while others merely glared at it. Still others approached cautiously, poking it with sticks.

The chief came and saw the Equalizer. He sighed in relief and said, "Thank goodness."

"Thank you for avenging our people."

"All in a day's work, Chief." Bell responded.

The chief took out a pouch of coins and gave it to Bell. "I know it's not much, but you've done your duty."

Bell looked at the pouch in his hand, and then returned it to the Chief, who was surprised.

"But this is your payment."

Bell responded and patted the sack. "And you need it more than I do and besides I got what I came for."

The Chieftain was surprised and watched as Bell coiled up his chain and went to his horse and mounted up. Bell hooked the sack on his saddle. The Chief spoke up

"You seem different."

"How so?" The Equalizer replied.

"Perhaps the Thunderbird has bless for vanquishing the monster," The Chief answered. "For good luck no doubt."

"Ahh." Bell nodded thoughtfully.

He is aware that there are some people would prefer to worship Spirits instead of Gods. So it's their belief and not nothing worth arguing about it. Although he must admit, he was indeed lucky after his unpleasant departure from Orario.

If he wasn't so lucky, he wouldn't be alive; sporting red hair, assuming a new name, becoming an Equalizer, and being a member of the Zues Familia for the past 15 years. His grandparents would send legions of bronze golems and convince every Equalizer in Orario to burn it to the ground.

"Well, I hope you'll be at ease with whatever comes next."

The Chief nodded. "Thank you."

Bell nudged his horse to go, seeing people setting up a pyre for the fallen and placing the monster's body on it. Some of the people waved at him in gratitude. He felt pleased knowing his life would go smoothly as long as his true identity is kept a secret.

Hours passed as Bell traveled, he arrived at the Equalizer Guild. He went to a male register and took out the head. The Register widen his eyes in surprise.

"A wendigo?" The register recognized. "Well color me impressed! Most rookies would avoid taking the contract so do you the contract?"

Bell took out the paper and gave it to him. The register press the paper with a large X stamp leaving it with a mark. He put the paper away in a drawer filled with finished wanted posters of monsters and criminals.

The Register pulled a very large pouch of gold coins and placed on a table.

He joked. "Spend it wisely please."

"Ha!" He laughed sarcastically and said. "I will."

'If only you knew how rich I am.' Bell thought.

He returned the head back into his sack and grabbed the pouch. Something has been bugging to Bell.

"I saw an employee took down a wanted poster the other day," Bell asked the Register. "What was that about?"

"Oh, so you haven't heard?" The Register responded. "Word on the street is that the traitor Bell Cranel whose bounty is worth 14 million turned out to be innocent, and the Adventurer's Guild has ordered the immediate removal of all Cranel's wanted posters."

Bell asked. "When did it happen?"

The Register answered. "About a three days ago."

"Three days?" Bell thought. "And I've been in a coma for a day, and my grandparents have been training for about a week."

The Register went on. "And on top of that, the Guild has banned those who attacked the poor boy from ever entering the dungeon."

Bell widen his eyes. "Won't that give a negative effect on the city?"

"Yes, well I don't think the Guild cares any more as well as the citizens." He answered

"What do you mean?" Bell questioned.

"A great distrust had begun between the Citizens and Adventurers from what I've heard," He said. "The rate of People who sought to become adventurer by coming to Orario has dropped once the news of the ban had spread. Well... there are a few exceptions, I think it was... Hermes, Miach, Freya and the Sword Princess."

'Ais?' Bell thought.

"What about the Sword Princess?" Bell questioned and intending to find out on what has become of the girl who he confessed to.

"The news goes on that the Sword Princess tried to kill the culprit," The Register on what he heard. "She didn't succeed because the King intervened. She must've been close to Bell Cranel."

Bell felt embarrassed at the comment deep down. He appreciated the thought of Ais avenging him. But it wasn't entirely necessary.

He asked again. "So what did she do?"

"She slashed the Pallum Braver's face nearly took out one of his eyes at that point."

Bell gasped. "What!? Why?!"

"From I've heard, he tried to comfort her," The Register responded. "She must've snapped at the audacity of comforting and apologizing his actions since the Pallum was also one of Bell Cranel's attackers."

Bell couldn't believe that Ais would attack her captain. He became concerned on what Ais is going through after his departure. So he wanted to know more.

"Is she currently facing repercussions?"

"Well, she's not banned from going into the dungeon," The Register answered. "She still has her falna from Goddess Loki which is very surprising and she's currently staying at Hermes Familia who formed an Alliance with Miach Familia."

"I guess that's not too bad."

"If you ask me," The Register spoke. "Finn Deimne had it coming."

Bell would have disagree, but if it weren't Grandmother Hera's lesson about when to be kind or harsh. He would punch them all in the face and so he decided to end this.

"Thanks for telling me this."

"No problem," The Register nodded. "If you see Bell Cranel, look out for him will ya. The poor kid must've had a traumatic experience since leaving Orario."

"I will and take care."

"As will you."

Leaving the guild, Bell would have asked about what had become of the Hestia Familia since Ouranos had banned all of his attackers from entering the dungeon. However, he found himself that he is unable.

It hurt him deeply on how things turned out. But their meeting will eventually happen and this time he now stands against them as apart of a rival Familia. He would have no joy on what ever Zeus and Hera order him to do.

Now with Ais, He may no longer be an Adventurer. But his goal remains the same.

'Wait for me Ais.'
