now, this also is not the first chapter of my first ever 'Shugo Chara' fanfiction. it is a list of the fanfiction's characters and what roles they will be portraying. as usual, Amu Hinamori will be the center of attention in this fanfiction, but so will Ikuto Tsukiyomi. he will be the one who winds up playing opposite Amu instead of Tadase like everyone thinks this fanfiction will most likely be like. I'm sorry to all of the Tadamu fans out there, but this is my fanfiction. and I only take requests from bloggers who support the same ships I do. I just hope that I can keep within the rating of the actual anime and not have to include all of the scatological profanity that is spoken in 'The Ugly Truth', itself. pardon my French, but it was an R-rated movie, but it was not rated for any gore or violence or any scare-factor or anything like that. oh no, the 2009 film, 'The Ugly Truth', was rated R for restricted because it had a ton of bad language and sexual theming. those kinds of things, alone, are enough to make an R-rated movie, apparently. this character list is six-hundred-sixty-two words of characters long with fourteen characters worth mentioning in the list, not including this headnote, right here, or the disclaimer that makes up the paragraph following it.
disclamation: I do not own 'Shugo Chara', as I am purely an American. I also don't own any copy of 'The Ugly Truth'. not that I would want to own any copy of a movie like that in any way, shape, or form. I get my info about 'The Ugly Truth' purely from a website, of which I will not reveal the name purely for the sake of avoiding copyright infringement. my information about the Amuto ship is as good as any other blogger on FanFiction or on Wattpad. that's right, people. I'm gonna submit the actual chapters to this fanfiction to Wattpad in addition to FanFiction as soon as I get them all up and running. anyway, 'Shugo Chara' is owned by the manga artist duo of Banri Sendo and Shibuko Ebara, better known for their shared nickname of Peach-Pit. 'The Ugly Truth' was directed by Robert Luketic and was written by a trio of writers made up by three women with the names of Nicole Eastman, Karen McCullah Lutz, and Kirsten M. Smith.
Amu Hinamori-the exceedingly beautiful, but incredibly lonely and totally controlling heroine of the story and Ikuto Tsukiyomi's executive producer along with his eventual crush
Ikuto Tsukiyomi-the 'talented and intelligent' host from on Amu Hinamori's show who judges women by their looks even though he has no real room to judge, it later turns out, also unexpectedly falls in love with Amu along the way in their time working with one another
Tadase Hotori-Amu's new orthopedic surgeon neighbor and newfound infatuation who secretly likes the kind of stuff about which Ikuto reports on his show produced by Amu
Kairi Sanjo-a date Amu has before even meeting Tadase or Ikuto in the first place, a date Amu has that goes lousy because of her own control freak personality towards the men in her life
Utau Hoshina/Tsukiyomi-Ikuto's divorcee kid sister who treated her elder brother like a potential boyfriend until she discovered a few things about irresponsibly conceived children and inbreeding that came with marrying one's siblings, so she married someone else only to divorce them and take their son with her when she left said ex-husband behind
Takeru Hoshina/Tsukiyomi/Nakamura-Utau's decidedly fatherless son and Ikuto's nephew, at the age where he's interested in girls as far as the eye can see, secretly listens to what his Uncle Ikuto says on his show even when it's not going to help him in any way, shape, or form, particularly because he's only a little boy in elementary school at age seven, still has his Uncle Ikuto as the only father figure left in his life
Yuu Nikaido-Amu's employer and the head of the TV production company's department, has two daughters at a beautician academy and a son as a university student in a beauty school in Florence, Italy
Yukari Sanjo/Nikaido-Kairi's adult sister, Yuu's wife, Amu's co-employer and her husband's right-hand as head of the TV production company's department, mother to Yuu's children
Senna Hanazono-a friend of Amu's from the TV studio at which she works who while she is just slightly jealous of Amu for having a sexy body but not the personality to work well with said body, she is in love with love and is determined to live out her own dating life vicariously through Amu's and always encourages her to go out with as many potential boyfriends as she possibly can because she had always believed Amu to be the only one with whom she could ever trust her love life, despite being quite attractive, herself
Rima Mashiro-an old friend of Amu's who just won't let the news out unless it's either funny stuff or gossip-worthy stories about local Japanese celebrities, often argues with fellow newspeople, Nagihiko Fujisaki and Kukai Souma, about what news with which to arm the station's newscasters, Hikaru Ichinomiya and Rikka Hiiragi
Kukai Souma-the sports newscaster who loves sports more than anything in the world, other than his friend, Nagihiko, but still more than their disagreeable shared colleague, Rima, with whom they constantly argue over exactly what to put on the news within their TV station
Nagihiko/Nadeshiko Fujisaki-a fashion-conscious newscaster who runs the whole style section of TV station and a friend of Kukai Souma, the sports newscaster, also likes sports himself, particularly sports outfits designed specifically for resistance to perspiration among other things caused by exercise, also a fan of endangered animals, often gets into arguments with Rima Mashiro about what to put on the news, however, along with his friend, Kukai
Hikaru Ichinomiya and Rikka Hiiragi-the leading newscasters at the TV station at which Amu works as a producer, intriguingly platonic best friends aside from potentially becoming boyfriend and girlfriend, but not quite there yet as both have only just learnt of their mutual attraction to one another, but have done nothing on the level of being anything except just friends because Rikka always puts her secret attraction to her colleague, Hikaru, last in favor of an appropriate salary from the news station which employs them both
