Chapter 1:
Jason, Rosco, Desoto, and Casper all make it to the orientation for the university as they walk through the doors and see 14 other people already in seats. Jason them take the fourth row from the front as the headmaster walks in.
"I want to thank you all for coming, I am Headmaster Orion, I am going to be frank with you, there are many more students who have orientation today, but they are in a different room. This room is specifically for those who have full scholarships. Those of you who have full scholarships I am expecting nothing short of your absolute best."
A red panda wearing a black dress, walks to each student and hands them an envelope, inside holds the documents for the doorms and their classes, and who their roommates will be. Jason them look at their documents and notice that they will all be in the same dorm with their rooms literally next to each other but they have different roommates. each room holds four students.
Jason them grab their belongings and head over to their doorm area to get their stuff set up before exploring the campus.
"Damn Jason this place is huge!" Desoto squeals with delight.
"I know man, who would have thought that we all would have gotten full scholarships and for music none the less" Rosco says sticking his tongue out and lets out a little growl.
Several minutes later they arrive at the dorm and head upstairs. They each get to their respective dorm room and Jason looks at them, "Let's meet in the lobby in what about an hr?"
The other three nod their heads and go into their rooms.
Inside Casper's room he sees 2 well dressed Minx's sitting on a bed looking at a magazine of yachts.
"This is the one my dad owns, Anthony" one Mink says.
"Oh yeah well my dad owns two." the other says smuggly.
Fuckin cheesburgers, I got room with 2 smug minx's. I bet they got here on their parents dime.
Casper walks over to an empty bed and just sets his stuff on the ground and begins to unpack his cloths and puts them in the closet near his bed.
"Oh you must be our new roommate. Well I am Alexander, and this here is Anthony." the mink says extending his hand.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Casper, and I am looking forward to rooming here and possibly make friends wtih you all," Casper says shaking the hand. Casper finally got the last of his cloths in his closet and leaves his guitar near his bed and waves goodbye to Alex and Anthony before leaving the room. Once he is out of the room Alex grabs a sanitize wipe and wipes the hand that shook Casper's.
"Ugh a commoner at our university? Disgrassful," Alex says which causes Anthony to let out a chuckle.
"I'm sure he won't last long just like all our other roommates." Anthony replies as they both continue to look at the magazine.
The friends then gather into the lobby and decide to look for someplace to eat. They walk around the campus but with how big it is, the friends easily get lost, Jason then approaches a femal tiger, and asks her where they can get something to eat.
" So we have several food carts near the entrance, but its 5 minutes to the left of the entrance. We also have the dining hall that is open from 4am to 9pm and a coffee shop that is open 24 hours." the tigress says.
Jason them say thank you and head to the food carts, the tigress just smiles and waves as she puts in an earbud and begins to skip.
Minutes later the friends come up to the dining hall and enter. Once inside they look and notice that it's just like a normal dining hall nothing fancy, Rosco looks to his left and sees a sign that has a layout of the dining hall and what kind of food they server and where to find it.
Jason, Desoto, and Rosco go for Thai food, and Casper goes and gets a plate lunch from a Korean place. After getting their food they sit down at a table and begin to eat and discuss what they are going to do before classes start Monday.
"I dunno i was going to get some books, and maybe a laptop to do my paper's on," Jason says before slurping up his food.
"Sounds like a plan bossman," Desoto says sarcastically as he pulls out his phone and checks his bank account. Jason and the others follow and check their bank accounts.
"Yeah I got enough I think" Desoto says, Jason and Rosco say the same thing but notice Casper is silent.
"Yo pooh bear, you good? do you got enough to get some books?" Rosco asks.
"Huh? Oh...oh yeah I got enough don't worry about me," Casper lets out an uneasy chuckle before taking another bite of his food but Jason looks at Rosco them side eyed and the other 2 nod their heads. After dinner the friends say goodnight to each other and head to their rooms.
It's 7am Sunday morning, Desoto wakes up and grabs his stuff to go to the gym on campus before the others wake up to get a little work out in. Once he gets to the elevator he hears someone making a barking noise, thinking nothing of it he pushes the up button but doesn't get in once he realizes why the barking sounded familiar.
He follows the noise and peeks around the corner where he sees a minx holding out his phone recording something and when he takes a closer look he notices that Casper is on all fours making barking and begging sounds.
"Hahaha that's a good doggie, if you want some money to get books you gotta earn it." The mink says as the other Minx wearing a blue dress shirt places what looks like a dog treat on Casper's nose.
"Now whimper and beg for the treat." The minx demands.
Casper lets out a soft whimper as his eyes begin to water.
"THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE?!" Desoto demands. The two minx look at Desoto and let out an uneasy chuckle.
"Oh you know its just a little hazing for our new roommate, you know normal college humor," the minx with the blue dress shirt says lifting his hands in the air. Desoto looks at Casper and tells him to get over to him. Casper begins to crawl on all fours towards Desoto who lets out a sigh.
"Stand up and walk over to me stupid," Desoto says placing a hand over his face. Casper stands up and wipes his eyes before walking towards Desoto.
"Names, I want both of your names...NOW!" Desoto says with a low growl.
"You, aren't going to report us will you? Because if you do, they wont believe you, our parents always give a generous donation to the university so we get some special privilages."
"The...the one with the blue dress shirt is Anthony the other white the black plaid shirt is Alexander," Casper says sniffling still.
"Alright, see you boys around." Desoto says.
"Stupid Bear broke ass bear," Alex says before him and Anthony turn around and bump into Rosco who is grinning and showing his fangs.
"Now I know you did not just call my boy here a broke ass bear, now did you?" Rosco asks cracking his knuckles.
"Yeah and so what if I did," Alex says as he tries to intimidate Rosco who in one swift movement grabs the mink by the throat and holds him to the wall. Alex lets out a whimper as Rosco brings his face closer to the minx.
"Well you see...I guess i will just have to break your ass then," Rosco says menacingly, "Now listen here you smug little prick, by your attitude I am assuming mommy and daddy paid for you to get in, while we worked our asses off to get here, now if you even think of harassing my boy any more, I will come after you...And I will make you regret it...This isn't a threat it's a fucking promise." Rosco says before throwing Alex into Anthony who catches him. The two minx then run off.
Rosco looks at Casper who is still whimpering, "Casper you know that you didn't need to do that, you stupid bear you know we got you always, and you know damn well if you needed money for books you could have asked Jojo or any of the other family members you know they would cover you." Rosco then boops Casper on the nose which causes him to chuckle a bit. Desoto grabs his gear and heads back to the elevator followed by Rosco and Casper. They go to the gym and begin there work out, Casper is on the treadmill, Rosco is hitting the speed bag, and Desoto is doing push-ups, crunches, and using a jump rope.
Once the friends were done at the gym, they shower up, and head back to their rooms to drop off there gym cloths. Jason opens his door and rubs his eyes.
"Damn bro you just woke up?" Desoto asks.
"Yeah I had insomnia last night and didn't fall asleep till 1:45 in the morning," Jason replies.
Back over at Jojo's home, Jojo, Haida, Tadano, and Anai are all chilling around the kitchen drinking coffee and eating breakfast. Just then Jojo's phone rings and he answers it.
"Jojo here, who is this?" Jojo asks.
"Hello Mr. Jojo this is Orion from the University, listen I was wondering if you know anyone who is willing to work at the campus, we need a new security guard, the last one moved when his wife got a job in another state as a surgeon, a cook got into a bad wreck and can no longer work, we also need an accountant, and a planner for like events and such. Would you happen to know any people that would fit the job?"
"You called us on purpose didn't you? You must have known that I am a security guard, Anai is a cook, Haida is an exceptional accountant, and that Tadano is very good at planning stuff." Jojo says sarcastically
"Haha you got me, I over heard your son talking about you guys and how professional you all, plus if you guys have raised Jason to be such an amazing student I have no doubt that you guys would be great employees. If it helps I will pay tremendously well, and well I dunno we can discuss this if you want to accept." Orion says.
"We will accept the offer but we do not expect Jason or any of his friends to get special treatment that is not how we groomed them." Jojo says before hanging up the phone.
A month later Jason them head to the cafeteria, and notice that there is quite a line at one of the stalls. Jason them stand in line and wait 15 minutes looking at the food, until they hear a familiar voice.
"Hey Jason, what can I get started for ya?" Anai says smiling.
"Uncle Anai what are you doing here?"
"Well the headmaster called us and asked us if we wanted to work over here and since we were all bored we decided that we would and well now, I am a cook, your dads are now a security and an accountant here, and Tadano is a planner." Anai says.
Jason them order their food and pay for it before finding a table and sit down at it, they talk amongst themselves and begin to laugh and talk about what they expect about their time at college and if any of them would plan on joining a fraternity.
"I dunno I think joining a fraternity would be amazing, but I heard that with all the hazing that it can be dangerous." Casper says.
"Maybe if we all join a fraternity together it would be better so that we all can watch out for eachother." Rosco says as he gulps down his soda. They toss their trash and head over to the bookstore on campus to get their books for the year. Rosco tells them that Casper doesn't have enough money for books so they all agree to each buy him a book for the year, once they get to the bookstore they see 4 animals wearing jackets that have dots on the back with lines connecting the dots.
"We are the Astrology Fraternity and we aim to be the best in everything that this university. Whether it be sports, or clubs. Please head over to our place at the farthest north part of the campus. Our place is a little to the right but you can't miss it we all hope to see you there." A horse says as they walk away.
Jason them think that the fraternity seems straight forward and will be able to excel and possibly make friends early into the semester. Once they grab their books they drop it off to their rooms and head over to the fraternity. 20 minutes later they arrive at the door and knock. The horse opens the door and greets Jason them.
"Hey I am Adonis, I am the President of this fraternity and I am glad you guys came by."
He opens the doors and lets the friends inside, Jason them are all stunned with how big it is and how many people are here, some playing pool, while others are watching tv or even playing games. Jason them all feel comfortable till he notices Casper try to hide himself from someone or something.
"Hey bro what's wrong?"
"You see those two Minx's over there? They made me crawl on all four and beg if I wanted them to help me with getting books." Casper says. Adonis hears this and calls Alex and Anthony over.
"I heard you guys were bullying this bear here?" Adonis says.
"What of course not president, we would never do such a thing, in fact he is one of our new roommates." Alex says.
"As your president, I demand you guys to take him to the bonding room and try to fix this because you know everyone in this fraternity is friends right." Adonis says making his eyes go wide, Alex knows what the look means and nods his head as him and Anthony lead Casper to a room that has the word bonding over it.
Adonis leads Jason them around the house and explaining how long the fraternity has been around and what not. 20 minutes later they see Alex and Anthony but Casper is nowhere to be seen.
"Hey Alex, where is Casper at?" Jason asks.
"Oh after we got done talking we showed him to the kitchen so that he could grab a drink and some food and mingle with other members," Alex says as him and Anthony leave to go somewhere else.
Desoto heads to the kitchen because he thought a drink sounded good at the time, once he gets to the kitchen he doesn't see Casper anywhere.
"Hey excuse me, have you seen a brown bear? His name is Casper." Desoto asks.
"Sorry mate, I been ere for 45 minutes waiting for my food to finish and I aint seen no bear ere." The Kangaroo says.
Desoto thinking that's odd goes back to Jason them and lets them know that someone in the kitchen says he hasn't seen Casper.
Jason thinking that is weird notices that the bonding room is slightly open. The friends make their way to the door and open it. Their eyes go wide as Desoto and Rosco let out angry growls. Infront of them tied to a chair and gagged is Casper, his eyes red from crying and bruises on his face.
"CASPER WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED?!" Jason demands.
"Those minx tied me to this chair and gagged me and beat me with their fists and those paddles there in the corner." Casper nudges his head to his left where two wooden paddles lay on the floor.
Adonis comes to see what the commotion is and his eyes goes wide as he glances over to Alex them and gives them a look that says "you fucking idiots".
Jason, Desoto, and Rosco turn slowly and look at Adonis who raises his hands and begins to back away.
"Hey look, I didn't know this was happening I swear," Adonis says backing away slowly.
"Your fraternity has been here for 4 years, and you are telling me that you did not know that this room existed!" Rosco snaps.
Jason unties Casper who then clings to Jason and begins to cry again. Seeing their friend hurt, makes grab Adonis by the throat and throws him into the room followed by Desoto who closes the door. Inside the room Adonis cowers in the corner.
"Hey, I am the President of this fraternity, I can easily get you guys expelled from this university." Adonis says trying to sound brave.
Desoto snapping punches Adonis in the face and begins to throw him around the room like a rag doll. 20 minutes later the friends leave and when Alex and Anthony go look into the room, they see Adonis laying near the wall in a bloody heap, blood sprayed along parts of the walls.
"Oh god, what kind of shit did we just get ourselves into?" Alex whispers.
"Question isn't that the son of that one security guard that enjoyed fighting?" Anthony whispers back.
"Hey Jason before you guys leave who is your dad if I may ask?" Anthony asks.
"His name is Jojo, if you look up on metube, you can find some videos of him fighting." Jason says as the friends leave the fraternity.
Once Jason them leave Anthony hops on metube and looks up Jojo and the first video is labeled hawaiian rabbit defends family member. Anthony opens up the video and it shows Jojo fists balled up in a boxer's stance, him and a heavy set leopard begin throwing blows at each other but after a few minutes Jojo grabs the leopard in a choke hold and squeezes till the leopard taps out. Anthony lets out an uneasy nervous chuckle.
"Ha ha ha ha...ahhhh we are absolutely fucked, yups we are 100% grade A fucked, I mean I never even been in a fight, I mean I have but I paid the dude to let me win, well at least I got you to back me up right Alex" Anthony says throwing his arms in the air, he turns and notices that Alex isn't near him anymore.
Haida is sitting in a room with the headmaster and Tadano discussing upcoming trips and events.
"Well Mr. Orion, the budget for the remainder of the year is 315 million dollars and some change," Haida says handing a stack of papers to Orion.
"I can also sponsor or help with some of the events if needed," Tadano says but Orion shakes his head no and explains that, it wouldn't be needed for the fact that if they don't use the money in the budget they will have a lower budget for the following year.
"Ok well let me see, for the university the pool needs a full cleaning, I'm not sure what happened but I noticed that there was a green moss growing on the sides of the pool and when I had it tested I seen that it can be very bad if the students are exposed to it long term, the worst thing is it's hiding under the concrete and does not have a smell to it, we also need possibly some boxing gear and maybe a few punching and speed bags if that would be ok. In regards to the events though, I thought of letting those who are studying culinary to take a trip to like Italy or France or places that they want to go to learn the culture and some techinques." Tadano says.
"Why that sounds amazing Tadano, I knew i was right to hire you guys, to be honest I havent even been a headmaster that long, maybe like a year and 4 months," Orion chuckles.
