Dragon Hero
"Hey Sanī, do you think Goku might be mad at us for what we said this morning, and went and got a hotel for the night to avoid us?" Lucoa questioned, looking out the window. "It's getting pretty late and he hasn't made it home yet."
"It's possible, but I'm sure he's just taking care of some personal stuff. Though the muscle booster spell on his food should have worn off hours ago." Sanī said, writing down the rest of Goku's workout plan. "Do you know if he's proficient in martial arts?"
"From what I could tell of the kick he gave to my assaulters face yesterday, he's got at least some skill in martial arts, even if it is a bit sloppy. Though given his physique… I'd have to say he'd be accustomed to close quarters combat." Lucoa explained. "Why do you ask?"
"Knowing this about him, will allow me to be able to help him refine his abilities." Sanī said, before pausing as if something just came to mind. "Oh I just realized."
"Realized what?" Lucoa asked.
"There's gonna be a change in plans. I need you to feed a magic filled scale to the Gemini Crystal right now. By the time it's finished fermenting, the process won't take hold." Sanī stated, grabbing a pair of scissors from the counter.
"Oh, I see, good catch." Lucoa said, removing the gem from between her breasts.
"Here." The Monkey Queen said, putting a lock of her bangs on the table by Lucoa. "When you feed the scale, feed this along with it, otherwise the crystal will reject the scale and be nothing but a useless rock not even worth 50 Yen."
"Alright." Lucoa nodded grabbing the hair, and heading for the bedroom. "I'll take care of it right now."
"I'm home." Goku said, the sound of the door opening and closing reaching their ears.
"Welcome home Goku Baby, how was school?" Lucoa asked.
"I didn't end up going. I ran into our stalker friend from yesterday and had to hoof it to the train station. I got on a train, but it was the wrong one. So I ended up missing school, and had to wait several hours." Goku explained.
"Are you okay, he didn't hurt you did he?" Sanī asked coming in and joining the conversation.
"No, I'm fine. I managed to escape from him before he could do anything." Goku said. "The weight of the training clothes actually helped with that."
"Well I'm just glad you're okay Goku Baby. An' I've got some good news. The Gemini Crystal is gonna be ready sooner then expected." Lucoa said.
"Lucoa's gonna feed it one of her magic filled scales to get it to do what she wants it to do. An' that extra boost in energy should be enough to finish the crystallization." Sanī explained.
"Great, but could I make a bit of a request?" Goku asked.
~Later~
"Alright, the Gemini Crystal is done." Lucoa stated. "You sure this is what you wanted Goku Baby?"
"I'm sure." Goku said sitting at the kitchen table wearing his casual clothes.
"Before you even think of putting that thing on, we need to build your muscle mass a to where you can withstand it. But we're also gonna build up your knowledge and skill in martial arts." Sanī stated.
"An' while you're doing that, I'm gonna power this thing up." Lucoa smiled. "You got the list of candidates Goku Baby?"
"Not even a list really." Goku said, giving Lucoa a picture. "If I'm gonna reignite my dream of being a hero, I'm gonna go big or go home."
"I see. Where's his agency at?" Lucoa questioned.
"Minato Tokyo, but news reports say he's in Musutafu right now. So you should be able to find him if you look hard enough. I mean, it can't be that hard to find a mountain of a man who's always smiling with pride." Goku said.
"Alright. I don't really need to sleep, so I'll go searching for him right away."
"Does that mean I can have my bed tonight?" Goku asked.
"It's all yours. I took the liberty of clearing out one of the spares you mentioned and put all the stuff that had been in it, into storage." Lucoa said.
"Storage being code for, a pocket dimension only she can access." Sanī chimed in.
"So long as it's not thrown out or damaged, I don't care where that stuff is." Goku stated.
"Great, now you should probably get some sleep." Lucoa said. "Oh, before I forget, you had a couple friends come by a bit earlier. They dropped off the schoolwork you missed. I thought it had been a bit weird, since Sanī and I were both under the assumption you'd been at school."
"Friends?" Goku asked. "I wouldn't know about friends. I mean, there are a couple students there who do try to treat me nice and don't discriminate because I'm Quirkless, but I've never thought they'd consider themselves, my friends."
"Now that is just sad." Sanī said, looking at Lucoa as she put Goku's food down.
"Agreed." Lucoa said.
"Okay, change of plans kiddo. It's a weekend tomorrow, you don't have school, so you are gonna spend the day treating yourself right. An' if anyone tries to put you down because you don't have a Quirk, I will know and I will take care of it." Sanī stated.
"Okay, but what exactly am I supposed to do?"
"Whatever you want, without a care in the world. The sky's the limit, and money is no object." Sanī stated, putting a wad of paper bills down on the table. "You won't be a successful hero, unless you actually believe in yourself first. So enjoy yourself, it's on me."
"Then what are you gonna do while Lucoa and I are out?" Goku asked.
"I am gonna find a space to procure for your training. Mainly somewhere I can renovate into your own personal gym that I can use to train you." Sanī retorted. "The roof won't do, and someone's already claimed the local junkyard beach for their own training grounds. Know anyone trying to sell a building I could use?"
"Actually… I think I just might." Goku smiled, scarfing down the rest of his food. "Follow me." He said, getting up and grabbing his jacket.
~Hachigo's 24hr Gym~
"Whoa, hold up." Hachigo said. "You're joking right? You got another female roommate and she's looking to buy my gym from me?"
"Hachigo, I know you, and I know you're so far in the red you're at the brink of bankruptcy and shutting this place down for good." Goku stated as Sanī was walking around the gym, inspecting the interior. "Sanī can give you the money you need to not only get out of the red for good, but you'll be able to live comfortably for the rest of your life, any way you want."
"An' how's that? She got a Quirk that allows her to make money out of nothing?" Hachigo questioned.
"No, my Quirk gives me the same abilities as Son Goku the Monkey King." Sanī stated. "Though I am more then capable of buying this place from you just like this Son Goku said."
Hachigo looked to Sanī, before looking to Goku and sighed, shaking his head and looking down in defeat.
"I'll go get the paperwork ready. Ms.…"
"Call me Sanī."
"Whatever you say. Come back here tomorrow and be sure you have the money for the purchase ready. I don't care how you pay, so long as it's valid currency." Hachigo stated.
"Deal." Sanī smiled.
"Now if you'll excuse me. I'm gonna lock up for the night and pray this isn't just some joke about this nightmare of a business ending." Hachigo said.
Taking their leave, Goku and Sanī both decided to walk back to the apartment, instead of taking Sanī's flying cloud back.
"So, where does all the money come from anyway?" Goku asked.
"When banks first opened in Japan, or anywhere in the world to be honest, I'd open saving accounts with high interest collect rates, and let the seed money from each of the accounts grow until they are what they are now. Technically, I'm the richest woman in the world." Sanī explained.
"What do you do about when you're supposed to be dead due to a human lifespan?"
"Every fifty years or so, I leave the accounts, and the money in them to my, daughter, and just take on the identity I set up for that fake person to sign the contracts. I even disguise myself every time to make it more believable. Though to be honest, I've been getting kinda bored with it, and have been looking for a way out of the contracts." Sanī explained.
"Hmm, well if it were me I'd slowly move the money from each of the banks, about one bank a year or so, to just one in a preferred country, and leave the money to someone you trusted would invest it wisely." Goku said.
"Ah, now you're starting to sound more like me." Sanī smiled. "Don't worry, I'll leave you a good chunk of the money to live off of."
"Not what I was going for. You and Lucoa are already doing me a bunch of favors, and I don't even deserve it, since I'm a nobody." Goku stated.
"Hey." Sanī said, stopping in front of Goku, freezing him in his tracks. "Don't say that about yourself. You're not a nobody. It took me years to learn this lesson, but every life is precious, and meaningful. Just because you don't have something everyone else has, doesn't mean you aren't special in your own way."
"Kinda forgot you're my new life coach now." Goku chuckled.
"Besides, what Lucoa and I are doing, is to repay you for what you did for her." Sanī stated, as they began to walk again. "Lucoa's like a sister to me, so I owe you for what you did, just as much as she does."
"I appreciate you saying that." Goku smiled.
"Also, I can tell by your manga collection that you're a real big fan of stories like Kengan Ashura, Baki the Grappler, and other martial art related adventures. So I took the liberty to make some alteration to the Gemini Crystal myself, before giving it to Lucoa for her to finalize." Sanī smiled.
"Of course you did." Goku laughed. "By the way… what do you look like in your warrior mode?"
"You mean my Divine Form?" Sanī asked with a small smirk.
"Yeah."
"Just look up SSJ4 Female Gogeta on your computer, and you'll get the general idea." Sanī stated. "I am not showing you unless we end up in a battle."
"Fair enough." Goku said.
"But seriously, take a day for yourself tomorrow, and that wad of cash better be reduced in size by at least half by the time you get home. In fact get a hotel room, and take the whole weekend to yourself." Sanī stated.
~The Following Day~
"Let's see." Goku said, looking at the paper Sanī gave him. "First Sanī said to go to the… spa, seriously?"
Sticking the paper back in his pocket, Goku sighed as he got off the train to the shopping and entertainment district. Though he was hesitant about being in the district by himself, as he knew he'd probably run into some of his classmates.
"Does she seriously expect me to go to a spa, then shopping for clothes that'll increase my self esteem?" He questioned.
"Goku." Someone's voice called to him from behind, making him freeze.
"Oh shit." Goku said, before turning around to face who had called him, but jumped back when she was already in his face. "Ashido what the hell?" He questioned.
Standing there in front of him was his classmate, Mina Ashido, wearing a cropped jean jacket with a black tank top and an image of the Four Star Dragon Ball on the chest, mini jean shorts, and sandals, as well as a pair on sunglasses on her head. Her pink skin, and the sclera of her eyes, and the color of her irises, making her look like a female Kid Buu.
"I should be asking you that you big dummy." Ashido stated angrily. "You didn't show up at all to school yesterday, and when classes started the school ended up being investigated for some reason, and several of the teachers, and students, even the Principal, were taken away in hand cuffs. Strangely they were all the teachers and students who'd been openly abusing you. Then the lead detective, Tsukauchi I think his name was, addresses the school, saying they got reports about bullying and abuse, and illegal Quirk use, and that the one student who'd been the main victim in all that, was okay and wouldn't be attending school for the rest of the day."
"I… actually have no clue how that would be possible." Goku said. "I mean, the only person I ever told about that, was someone I met yesterday named, Toshinori Yagi."
"Where the hell were you?" Mina questioned, grabbing his jacket.
"I was hiding alright?" Goku said. "I had gotten into a bit of trouble with a villain the day before, and yesterday on my way to school, he managed to find me so I ran, and got on the wrong train, and fell asleep as I rode it to the end of the line. But that train is where I met Yagi."
"Well this Yagi guy must have some connections with the police then. Because that would be the only thing that makes any sense right now. Do you have any idea how worried Kirishima and I were about you, when you didn't show yesterday? We thought you took Jugo's advice about jumping off the roof of your complex."
"Ashido, I might be bullied for being Quirkless, but I'm not so far gone that I'd take the advice of a bully who encourages suicide." Goku said, gently removing her hands from his jacket. "Gotta say though, I never knew you were this concerned about me. It's kind of a nice change of pace from my usual day to day."
"You big dummy, of course I care about you." Mina said. "We've been friends since elementary school. My parents let me stay at your apartment for two months after your parents died."
"Roughest two months of sleep ever." Goku chuckled.
"Not my fault you were a gentleman and gave me your bed." Mina laughed. "I was actually here to pick up a gift for you in case you were down and needed cheering up. But what are you doing here?"
"Well… I got a new life coach recently. An' she's having me, take the weekend for myself and to make myself feel better. Even gave me a list of the things I should do for the weekend, even some cash to splurge on." Goku said taking the list out of his pocket.
"Really? Sweet let me see that list." Mina said. "Go to the spa, buy clothes for improving self esteem, go to the movies and watch as many as your heart desires, get lunch at someplace fancy or just order a lot from wherever you wanna go, go to comic convention, get a hotel and treat yourself to room service, maybe a nice massage. Goku, who is your life coach, because all of this sounds expensive as hell."
"Let's just say, money is no object for her." Goku said.
"Well either way, I'm joining you. I wanna make sure you don't get bullied and I wanna make sure you relax and enjoy yourself." Mina stated.
"I don't have a choice in this, do I?" Goku asked.
"No you do not." Mina stated, marching past him. "Now, where's the spa we're supposed to be going to, what's it called?"
"Oh, uh it's called the… Purple Highness Luxury Spa." Goku said, reading the flier for the spa Sanī gave him.
"Shut up." Mina said, turning back and getting in his face again. "That place is the best of the best. It takes months in advance just to get a single reservation."
"Well… I'm not the one who made the reservation but I guess Sanī has connections there to." Goku said.
"Then what are we waiting for, let's get going." Mina smiled, grabbing his wrist and running off to the spa.
~Musutafu Dagoba Beach~
"That's it young Midoriya, put your back into it." Toshinori called out, beefed up in his alternate identity All Might. "Don't give up, push past your limits and Go Plus Ultra."
"Excuse me, All Might?"
The Number One Hero turned around and his eyes widened when he saw the busty Lucoa standing there with a smile, wearing a slim fitting purple tracksuit top, and her signature shorts.
"I'm sorry to bother you, but I was hoping you'd sign something for me?" Lucoa asked.
"Of course. I always have time for a fan." All Might said, recomposing himself.
"Great." Lucoa smiled. 'It'd be so much easier if I just straight up asked him to hold the Gemini Crystal, but Goku made a valid point when he said to keep a low profile about magic and being a Dragon Deity.'
"Now, what is it you'd like me to sign?" All Might questioned.
"Hold on one second." Lucoa said, reaching into her pockets. "Mind holding this for me real quick?"
"Of course."
"Thank you." The busty dragoness smiled, putting the Gemini Crystal in his hand.
Almost instantly, without the hero noticing, the Gemini Crystal began to glow.
~One-for-All Quirkscape~
"Hey, look alive everyone. We've got company." A bald man with goggles on his head stated, sitting on his throne of the One-for-All Quirkscape.
The previous seven holders of the Quirk all looked up from where they sat, and saw something coming through the dark cloudy mist that surrounded them, and kept their powers in check and out of reach from the current holder of the Quirk they were all connected to.
"I don't think it's here to harm us." Nana said, as the object revealed itself to be a shining blue light, before it took shape in the form of Sanī.
"Hello, and good day to you all."
"Uh hi. Who are you?" Banjo questioned.
"I am the spirit of the Gemini Crystal that All Might, is currently holding."
"Okay, why are you here?" En questioned.
"My prime directive, is to duplicate the Quirk in possession of All Might, so that the human I am to be worn by, may achieve their dream of becoming a hero, despite being Quirkless. I am to be a gift to him, as a token of appreciation, for stepping in and saving a friend of my creator's, and risking his life to save her, despite being powerless to defend himself if retaliation was met."
The past users of One-for-All looked shocked at the Gemini essence before looking to each other.
"Well, then I believe I can help with that." Yoichi, the first user of One-for-All said, picking up a rock. "This entire structure you see around us, is the core of the Quirk, a power capable of being passed on from wielder to wielder, growing stronger with each new user." He explained as the stone began to glow with a silver hue. "Take this, and you will have what you're searching for, but you will need to collect the strength of six or seven more heroes to make the copy, as strong as the original."
"Make that only six." Nana said, putting her hand on the stone, making it glow purple and silver.
"With the power of only two people added to his own strength, he will without a doubt be able to handle 100% of this One-for-All." Yoichi explained. "But the more power that accumulates within the core, the less his body will be able to handle the power until he's developed it to where he can."
"That is greatly appreciated." Gemini said, taking the core before bowing to them. "I thank you, for this is the first step in helping the young man, achieve his dream and rekindle the flames of his passion."
~Reality~
"Thank you so much. I'm sorry I made you wait, I thought I had a notepad on me, but I guess I didn't." Lucoa said, taking the gem back as it stopped glowing and putting it in her, autographed, tracksuit top with a smile and a bow.
"It was no problem at all." All Might said with his signature laugh.
"All Might, I'm finished with… oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt." Izuku Midoriya said, freezing and blushing when he saw Lucoa.
"Oh no, I was just about to leave. I'm sorry for bothering you." Lucoa smiled.
"It's fine Ma'am. No need to worry about it."
"So, is this one of your newest sidekicks, he's kinda young isn't he?" Lucoa inquired.
"Ah, no actually this young man is training his body to be able to handle his Quirk better, and under my guidance he'll be ready to handle the strength of his own Quirk in time for the U.A Entrance Exams in ten months."
"It's been my dream to be a hero like All Might. An' I'm finally gonna be able to." Midoriya smiled.
"Is that so? Well I'm doing what I can for a young man about your age too. He's Quirkless, and has been bullied a lot for it. He even gave up his dream, but I know he can be a hero, because he saved me from a dangerous man a couple days ago."
'Is she talking about…' All Might thought. "Pardon me miss, but his name wouldn't happen to be, Son Goku would it?"
"It is, so you've met him?" Lucoa asked.
"An associate of mine has. They spoke briefly yesterday and I was informed of his discrimination and bullying situation at school and had a detective friend of mine investigate." All Might stated.
"Oh, well thank you for helping him. I really appreciate it." Lucoa smiled, bowing to the hero.
"Ma'am, Goku mentioned something to my friend yesterday about something to do with you figuring out some way to get into U.A. What exactly do you have in mind if I may ask?" All Might questioned.
"Shh, it's a secret." Lucoa snickered. "Sorry, but I'd rather it be a surprise for when he gets into U.A."
"Ah, of course. I'm sure he'll become a great hero no matter what happens." All Might stated.
"Well, I'll leave you both to finish what you're doing." Lucoa said, before leaving.
"She was nice."
"She was, but I can't help feeling something's off about her." All Might said. "To be honest, I'm not even sure we were just talking to a human."
~Goku and Mina~
"An' then what happened?" Goku questioned as the duo were eating lunch.
"Then, after Jugo said that you should have just jumped, Kirishima socked him in the face, and broke his nose." Mina laughed. "He was taken away, hand cuffed to a gurney."
"Oh man." Goku laughed.
"The bastard got what he deserved if you ask me." Mina stated. "So how are you doing, feeling any better?"
"Well, my life has actually changed a lot these last couple days." Goku stated.
"Like how you now suddenly have two smoking hot and attractive women in their freshman years of college living with you?" Mina asked.
"Ah, I forgot. Lucoa did mention a couple of friends coming by while I was still out to drop off my homework and check up on me." Goku said.
"Please, at least tell me that they actually treat you like a descent human being." Mina said.
"To be honest, they do more then that." Goku said. "Sanī actually is the life coach I told you about, and Lucoa treats me like she's my big sister. They're both kind and caring people, and I'm lucky to have gotten them in my life when I did."
"Are you saying that because it's true, or because Lucoa likes to walk around topless in the apartment?" Mina inquired.
"Wait, she what?"
"She answered the door yesterday with her impossibly large sweater stretchers hanging freely, and the only thing covering them were pasties over her nipples." Mina stated.
"Sanī must have gotten her to put a shirt back on before I got home, because I was not aware she does that." Goku said.
"Right." Mina said skeptically.
"Hey it's the truth."
"Well, well. Look what we have here fellas."
Goku and Mina sighed, as they turned to see the very person they'd been talking about earlier, Jugo. The arrogant boy was the walking definition of Rich Privilege, and it didn't help that he had followers that went everywhere he went like a pack of lost puppies begging for bones.
"If it isn't the piece of shit, staining this earth."
"Leave me alone Jugo. I'm not in the mood to deal with your bullshit." Goku stated.
"Those are some pretty sweet threads you're wearing Quirkless." Jugo stated. "How were you able to afford it, sell a kidney?"
Goku just sat there in his seat, looking at Jugo with daggers in his eyes. Both Goku and Mina's attires had changed from what they were earlier. When they first began their venture in enjoying the day, Goku wore a red flannel button up shirt, over a white t-shirt with jeans ripped at the knees, and a pair of barely holding together runners. Now he wore a one of a kind designed hooded leather jacket, with a red t-shirt made of high end quality materials, slim yet flexible leather pants, with a pair of shoes he never could have hoped to afford unless he actually sold a kidney.
Mina on the other hand, went with a bolder approach. She wore a black tankini top, made of the same material as Goku's shirt, under a slim short sleeved cropped hooded leather jacket with the sleeves only reaching down to her mid forearms. Her shorts had been replaced with black slim jeans, and her shoes replaced with what one could argue were combat heels.
"Or did you steal it?" Jugo questioned.
"Not that it's any of your business Jugo, but I actually purchased these clothes for the both of us, with money given to me by someone who actually cares about me." Goku stated, eating another french fry.
"I don't buy it." Jugo said. "You see, there's no one in this world, who'd care about a Quirkless shit stain like you."
"That's where you're wrong." Mina said. "I care about him. I've cared about him long before he was diagnosed as Quirkless. An' Kirishima cares to, or is the bandage on your nose not enough of a reminder of his friendship with Goku?"
"Speaking of… Last I heard, you had been taken away on a gurney, in a pair of handcuffs." Goku said. "How'd you get let go, daddy's money?"
"My old man did bail me out, and because of that I lost my allowance for the month." Jugo stated, grabbing Goku's jacket. "Now seeing as you've obviously got money to spare, why not lend your old pal a few bucks?"
"You tell him Jugo." One of his group said.
"Jugo you son of a…"
"It's fine Mina." Goku said, getting up from his seat, forcing Jugo to back away and let go before Goku reached into his pocket for his wallet, or at least his new wallet. "Now let's see here, I could have sworn I had something here set aside for you… Ah here it is." He stated, pulling his hands out of his pockets, and flipping Jugo off with both his hands. "Sit on 'em and spin dipshit. I ain't giving you squat."
"Big mistake." Jugo glared, punching Goku in the face, knocking him back into his seat.
"Goku." Mina cried out, trying to get to him, but was being held back.
"Let's take this somewhere, a bit more private." Jugo said, grabbing Goku's jacket, and dragging him through the restaurant. "Anyone calls the police, his blood is on your hands." He warned the other customers as he and his group dragged Goku and Mina out.
Taking them around back to the dark alley, Goku glared at Jugo as he took a boxers stance, and wiped away the blood from the cut on his lip Jugo's punch caused.
"Come on, what's a sad Quirkless sack of shit like you, gonna do against someone like me?" Jugo questioned, his hand turning into a sharp blade.
"A hell of a lot more then you think." Goku said.
Running at Goku, Jugo swung his bladed arm at the Quirkless teen, only for Goku to dodge it, and hit Jugo with a jab-cross combo strike to the face.
"That all you got?" Goku asked. "I could do this all day."
"Trying to act tough won't save you. In fact, I think I'll do the world a favor and kill you right here and now." Jugo stated.
"NO. Don't kill him." Mina cried out.
Jugo just ran at Goku, swinging his bladed arm wildly, while the young man was dodging most of the swings. Some had managed to hit their marks, while others barely nicked him, but it was clear to Mina, that Goku was still going strong, while Jugo was running out of steam.
"What the matter? Is the lifestyle of a sloth finally catching up to you?" Goku asked mockingly, hopping on his feet, like a professional boxer in the ring. "Little advice. Lay off the Twinkies. You're looking a bit chunky in some areas." He said, whispering the comment about the immortal junk food. "I think I even see a double chin starting to form."
"You are so dead." Jugo growled, his anger fueling his desire to kill, before he ran at Goku.
Pivoting on the ball of his foot, Goku managed to dodge another strike from Jugo, before he quickly pivoted back, and slammed his knee in Jugo's stomach, sending the young man to his knees as the blade of his Quirk, reverted back to his hand.
"Jugo." One of the followers called out, before Mina slammed her elbow in the guts of the two holding her back, and broke free. But she didn't make it far as two more grabbed her, and kept her there.
"You're not going anywhere." Another of them said.
"Hey, what's going on down there?"
The teens all turned to see a short old man, wearing a white and yellow jumpsuit, looking down into the alley.
"It's a hero."
"Run guys."
The followers picked up their two fallen friends, and booked it, running past Jugo and Goku, as the rich kid was picking himself up.
"Are you a hero?" Mina questioned.
"I am Missy." The man said. "Name's Gran Torino."
"Please stop this fight. The one on the ground is trying to kill a…"
Shluk!
Mina stopped as her eyes widened in horror at hearing that sound. Turning around, Mina's fears were confirmed as Goku was bent over, holding his chest, while Jugo was standing, hand at his side, his middle and pointer fingers replaced with a dagger blade, dripping blood.
Almost instantly, Torino dropped his cane and launched himself down the alley, kicking the potential murderer in the head, before he caught Goku as the young man continued to fall.
"GOKU." Mina cried out.
"Come on son, stay with me now." Torino said, laying him down. "You missy, keep him talking." He ordered, pulling out his phone.
"R-right." Mina said.
As Torino made a call, Mina stayed by Goku's side and kept his hands, in hers.
"Goku, stay with me, you're gonna be okay. You're gonna be okay." Mina said.
"This is Professional Hero Gran Torino, requesting an ambulance and a police detainment unit. I repeat, I am in need of a police detainment unit for a villain who's stabbed a civilian. His condition is critical." Torino said, restraining Jugo.
"Goku please keep your eyes open." Mina said, trying to keep herself composed. "Goku look at me, look at me. What has always been your life's dream?"
"To be… a hero…" Goku said.
"Right, to be a hero. I've never doubted you could achieve your dream, even if you are Quirkless." Mina said.
Hearing her say this caught Torino off guard, before he turned back to his phone.
"Victim of the crime is Quirkless, it is possible that what's happened here was a hate crime. Victim's name is Goku."
"Son Goku Sukehiro." Mina said, giving Torino his full name.
"His name is Son Goku Sukehiro." Torino said, deciding to put that on the back burner to deal with later.
"Okay Goku look at me, look at…" Mina paused when she saw Goku's eyes were glossed over, and his chest wasn't moving. "Goku? Goku wake up." She said, trying to shake him awake. "Goku please wake up, please you can't die on me, you can't."
"Update." Torino said solemnly. "Son Goku Sukehiro, Victim of a hate crime towards Quirkless, is dead. Time of death, 2:45PM."
"No, it's not over." Mina cried. "He can't be dead. He can't be."
"There is a way to bring him back."
Mina gasped and looked up to see one of the women she saw in Goku's apartment.
"You, you're Sanī right?" Mina asked. "What do you mean there's a way to bring him back? What kind of Quirk could do that?"
"Not a Quirk, a different method." Sanī said. "His soul is still within his body. But he'll need to be linked to someone to save his life."
"I'll do it. Link him to me." Mina said.
"No. Your body is not mature enough to handle this task, and I doubt you'd agree with the method, or the outcome after his life has been saved." Sanī stated, picking up Goku's body.
"Where are you taking him?" Torino questioned.
"Somewhere I can work my magic on him. Make sure Ashido gets home safe kid." Sanī said, jumping into the air, and landing on her cloud.
"I'm older then you young lady." Torino said, as the police and ambulance came by. "Who was she, and what kind of power does she have that could save his life?"
"I don't know. But I hope she succeeds." Mina said.
~The Following Day~
"An' you're sure we'll be able to find them here?" The black haired Kirishima questioned, following Mina to Goku's apartment, wearing one of the outfits Goku bought her yesterday during their shopping spree.
"I'm sure. Sanī said she had a way to save his life, and I wanna know how she's gonna do it." Mina said as they stopped in front of his door. "I just hope he's doing okay."
Raising her hand to knock, Mina stopped when the door opened, revealing Lucoa who was fully clothed, and seemed shocked to see them.
"Oh, hello. It's good to see you two again." Lucoa said.
"It's good to see you to."
"I'm sorry but Goku isn't here right now." The busty Goddess said, closing the door behind her, and locking it.
"We know what happened yesterday." Kirishima said. "Mina was there when Goku died."
"Was Sanī able to save his life?" Mina inquired.
Lucoa looked at Mina and Kirishima, before she sighed and shook her head.
"Follow me. It's better that I show you what happened to him. Telling you, wouldn't quite do the trick." Lucoa stated.
"Does that mean…?" Mina questioned, fearing the worst as they followed her.
"He's alive, no need to worry about that." Lucoa confirmed. "But how he's being kept alive, while his body heals, is another matter."
Looking to each other, before looking back to Lucoa, Kirishima and Mina decided to trust her word on this, as they both saw she genuinely seemed to care for Goku. As they followed her, the duo recognized where they were going, as Goku had taken them to the location a couple times after school. Their suspicions were confirmed when they reached the building, but they saw a construction crew, and equipment as the building was being expanded upwards with a second, and maybe even third level being added to it.
"I want these walls here, here and here, reinforced to be able to handle one of All Might's punches." The familiar voice of Sanī echoed in their ears as they neared her. The duo actually spotted Sanī as she had her back to them. "As for the equipment bellow in the gym, replace it with state of the art equipment. Money is no object."
"Yes Ma'am." The contractor said, before heading off.
As they got closer, their eyes widened in shock as Sanī turned around to give them a view of her from the side, and saw the new addition of a pregnant belly looking full term with triplets, connected to her torso, and acting as a shelf for her slightly bigger chest. They could even see some visible movement on the surface.
"Holy…"
"Sanī, look who came by to see if Goku was doing okay." Lucoa said, drawing her attention to them.
"Ah, it's you two." Sanī smiled, coming up to Mina and Kirishima. "I'm sorry you came to see Goku but got me, however this was necessary to save his life." She said, rubbing her belly.
"So yesterday, when you said my body wasn't mature enough to handle the burden, you meant…"
"I meant your body wasn't mature enough to handle this kind of pregnancy." Sanī stated. "Right now, Goku has been regressed to a younger age, allowing for me to easily carry him as his body heals. But as this is happening, part of his DNA is also being overwritten by mine, mainly his mothers DNA. If I wanted to, I could find someone to overwrite his father's DNA, but I won't do that, because I still want him to have a tie to his humanity."
"An' yesterday when you said I wouldn't like the outcome from saving his life, you meant…"
"He'd be your biological son, just as he is becoming mine." Sanī confirmed. "Once he's out, he'll be back to his actual age, but he'll be different."
"Will he finally have a Quirk?" Kirishima asked.
Lucoa and Sanī looked to one another, before back to them.
"Let's talk inside." Sanī said, leading them into a portable office. "Have a seat."
"What's this about?" Mina asked.
"Well… With Goku becoming my child, some things will change about him." Sanī said, putting a hand on her belly. "For one, his body will gain powers, but not the kind you're thinking of."
"What do you mean?" Kirishima asked.
Lucoa and Sanī looked to one another again, before back to the duo of middle schoolers.
"It's a bit complicated. But Sanī and I aren't even human." Lucoa stated.
"Lucoa is the Feathered Serpent Deity from the Mayan culture known as Quetzalcoatl." Sanī said.
"You're joking right?" Mina inquired.
"No we're serious." Lucoa said, switching her clothes back to what she wore when she was worshiped again. "These were my divine clothes."
"Okay I believe you, now put some actual clothes back on." Mina said, Kirishima covering his eyes as he was blushing with a nosebleed.
"Sorry, forgot I need to readjust the size still." Lucoa said, switching back.
"What about you? Are you a Mayan Deity to?" Mina asked, looking to Sanī.
"Chinese Mythology actually." Sanī stated. "My name is Sun Wukong."
"That… can't be right." Kirishima said, looking at her, tissues stuffed up his nose. "Sun Wukong was the Monkey King."
"An' it was only written that way, because the men of that era didn't want to admit that a woman was capable of such feats. So they wrote me as a man, instead of the woman I actually am." Sanī explained.
"That makes sense." Mina said. "That belief is still practiced in China to this very day."
"Which is why I try to avoid it at all costs because I'd punch the first person there to try and boss me around like I'm a piece of meat." Sanī stated.
"The point is, Goku is now gonna have powers similar to Sanī's." Lucoa said.
"Along with any powers he gets from the Gemini Crystal we give him." Sanī said, showing them the necklace.
"What does the Gemini Crystal do?" Mina asked.
"Well normally, it allows its owner to copy any magic that strikes their fancy. But in this case, this one was built, and designed to copy Quirks." Sanī said, putting it in Kirishima's hands.
"That is so cool. So, the dragon ball character was based off you right? Or rather the legend?" Kirishima asked.
"Technically yes. But there were a few things I can't do, that Son Goku from the series actually can, that don't really have anything to do with me." Sanī stated.
"Like what?"
"Well, for one I can't fly like Son Goku from the series without my demon cloud. The Kamehameha Wave is pure fiction, not even I can do it." Sanī stated.
"Well, maybe our Goku will be able to, now that he'll know how to manipulate energy like you." Mina said.
"Ah, that's another thing." Sanī said. "I can't use energy like that. I can use magic, but not Ki, or whatever energy is used in Dragon Ball. It's the reason why I can transform into a near infinite number of animals."
"I thought it was only 72?" Mina asked.
"72 is the only number the writers of my legend saw. I have many more transformations then those that they never even caught a glimpse of." Sanī smiled proudly.
"Now, we can sit here playing 20 Questions all we want, or we can go out and get some lunch. Sanī is eating for more then herself at the moment, and I'm sure Goku is gonna inherit her appetite." Lucoa smiled. "Who's up for an all you can eat buffet?"
"Yeah." They all cheered.
~Goku's Release~
"Oh man, ah my head is hurting. What the hell happened?" Goku questioned, opening his eyes and finding he was lying on his bed in his room. "I'm in my room? The last thing I remember is fighting Jugo, and then he stabbed me right in the…"
Goku stopped when he realized that something was wrong. He'd been stabbed in the chest, and that wasn't something you took someone home for, that was something you went to the hospital for.
Jumping up out of bed, Goku wasn't aware of his surroundings having changed, until he looked in the mirror to find the scarring from his stabbing, but instead found something more then that. Looking back at him in the mirror, was a young man with bulging muscles, standing at six feet tall, and looking like he could take on anyone in a fight.
"The hell?" He gasped, before he freaked out. "THE HELL?" He shouted, spotting the tail that was attached to his backside.
"Goku, is everything okay in there baby?" Lucoa's voice came through the door, after a knocking came.
"I'm… I'm, fine Lucoa." Goku said.
"Are you freaking out about the tail?"
Instantly, Goku opened up the door, and saw her standing there with an apron on, and a spatula in her hand, yet nothing under the apron to cover her chest.
"I'm gonna need an explanation." Goku said, looking a bit miffed.
"Alright sweetie, come on and get settled we got a lot to talk about with your mother." Lucoa smiled, before heading down the hall, leaving Goku confused.
"Huh?"
