Dragon Hero
"Damn it." Shigaraki growled. "That fucking hurts."
"Just be still, and I'll finish treating your wounds." Kurogiri said, before looking to the shadowy figure sitting in the booth of the dive bar. "Will you come hold him down?"
"Not a chance." A young woman's voice came from the shadowy figure as the silhouette illusion began to fade. "He brought this on himself when he reacted to the Monkey Prince's taunting, so let him suffer the consequences."
"Who the hell do you think you are, talking to me like that?" Shigaraki glowered. "I should kill you, right here and now."
"You and I both know how that would end, Handsy." She said.
"Enough squabbling you three." A voice came through a television, with Audio Only, on the screen. "Today's loss was to be expected."
"Yeah, especially with all those talentless goons, and holding me off to the sidelines." The young woman said. "I'm fucking stronger then that thing you called the Anti Symbol of Peace. All Might punched through its shock absorption like it was made of paper. You should have gone with shock nullification instead of absorption. Then it might have stood a fighting chance, maybe."
"Your notes on the Nomu are appreciated. But we benched you until the end for a reason." The voice coming from the television said. "We don't want the heroes getting wise on our plans, working with other worldly beings, now do we, Macaque?"
~Goku's Home~
"What exactly is it you want to talk about, Macaque?" Sanī asked, sitting in the living room of their new apartment, while Tohru served them drinks.
"Man that grub was good. You're quite the chef Ms. Tohru." Macaque said.
"Flattery will get you nowhere with me." Tohru said.
"Macaque." Sanī growled.
"What? Can't I appreciate the quality of the food made?" Macaque smiled.
"What do you need to talk with me about, and why does my son have to be here while we talk?" Sanī questioned.
Macaque just looked at Sanī, before he sighed and sipped his drink, putting it down on the coffee table, and sitting properly on the couch.
"It's about the attack on the USJ." Macaque stated, bowing to them. "I'd like to apologize for what happened."
This shocked the Monkey Queen, as she'd never expected him to bow his head to her like this, but that didn't exactly make up for what he just admitted to.
"You were part of the attack?" Lucoa asked.
"Not directly." Macaque stated. "But I would like to apologize for the things my daughter has done to you and your son, Sanī."
"Your daughter?" Tohru asked.
"I don't buy it." Sanī stated. "Last we met, you weren't even interested in marriage, let alone having kids. You just wanted to be, friends with benefits, or rather, fuck buddies."
"True, I've been a pain in the ass, but people do change." Macaque said. "After we last met, I had a lot to think about in my exile, and I came to realize a lot of things. One of them being, the beauty this world holds, and over a decade ago, I found love and we had a daughter." He explained, grabbing something hanging from around his neck. "But… her mother didn't survive childbirth, and I've been doing my best to raise her on my own."
"Being a single parent isn't easy." Lucoa said. "I saw plenty of my subjects struggling as they raised their little ones on their own."
"I don't know where I went wrong, I thought I was doing everything right. But my daughter still turned to the path of villainy, when I did everything in my power to see the light of heroics, and appreciate the life around her. But things changed about a year ago, I don't know what happened, but she left the house one day, and never returned. I had no clue where she was until I felt her magic emanating from the USJ, and when I heard about the attack on the news, I knew it had to be her." Macaque said. "I'm not here to try and get sympathy from any of you, I'm just here to apologize for what she's done, before I go out to find her. I have to return to the US, where my agency is."
"You have a hero agency?" Sanī asked.
"I do, I'm actually quite popular with the people of this world, and I'm actually in the top 5 rankings of the best heroes in the US." Macaque stated, getting up and heading for the door.
"Wait hold up." Goku said. "Stay with us…"
"Goku." Tohru gasped.
"That's not your call to make sweetie." Sanī stated.
"Just hear me out." Goku tried to explain. "You're wanting to find your daughter, right? Chances are, she's still here in Japan, working with the League of Villains."
"I see what you're getting at kid, but I don't have anywhere to stay here in Japan." Macaque stated.
"Then stay here, with us." Goku said. "As you said earlier, we've got more then enough room, that we have no clue what to do with."
"Goku, we don't know if he's telling the truth or just stringing us along." Sanī exclaimed.
"Make a pact then." Goku said. "If he makes a pact with us, long enough to confirm if he's telling the truth, then we'll know he's being honest."
"Even for an immortal, pacts are something to be feared." Macaque added. "You could make the conditions anything, including stripping me of my immortality."
"Fine." Sanī stated, stepping up to Macaque.
Bringing up her hand, Sanī pulled a strand of hair from her head, and turned it into a ribbon, before tying it to her wrist, then Macaque's.
"With this honor bound oath, should we find you have deceived us, you'll not only be stripped of your immortality, but you'll also lose your life." Sanī said, as the ribbon glowed brightly. "Do you accept these conditions?"
"I do." Macaque said calmly.
"Then once the truth is revealed, the pact will become undone, and you will either live, or die." Sanī stated, as the ribbon untied from her wrist, and wrapped around Macaque's forearm. "Now be honest, was everything you said just a moment ago, true, or was it all just a lie?"
"Everything I told you, was the truth. I did not come here to start trouble, nor to fight. I simply wished to apologize to you for what my daughter had done." Macaque said.
The ribbon around Macaque's arm, began to twist and move like a snake, before it loosened its grip on Macaque, and vanished into particles of magic.
"He was being honest." Lucoa smiled. "It is impossible for even the creator of all life himself, to fool a pact. So Macaque was honest about everything he said. Nice thinking Goku baby."
"So… since you'll be staying with us, I'll show you to your room." Tohru said, stepping up to Macaque. "Keep in mind, Kanna's already asleep in bed, so be quiet."
"Will do. I appreciate the hospitality." Macaque said.
"He really has changed." Sanī said. "As hard as it is to believe, I guess even someone like him, could change."
~Celestial Realm~
"Mmm, it seems that we've got a new player on the board." A man's voice said, as he and a group of his comrades were circled around a magic powered chessboard, with a Knight, taking on the appearance of the new piece. "Son Goku Sukehiro."
"The child of the Monkey Queen? Ooh, he seems like he'd make for an excellent toy."
"Calm your loins Ishtar." A third said. "He's branded with the mark of Wrath, and is capable of wielding Harbinger."
"That just makes me want him, even more." Ishtar smiled. "Please, let me go to the Mortal Realm, and toy with him? I would love to, welcome him, to the ranks of divinity."
"Be silent." The first voice said. "According to our gathered intel from our spies in the Mortal Realm, he's strong enough to face off against the Demon Bull King, and come out victorious. Even if it's in his weakened state, that's still impressive for a Demi-God to do. Your thoughts Lady Bone Demon?"
"He's barely had his power for less then a third of a year in a mortal's lifespan. The fact he came out victorious, and is capable of wielding Harbinger without succumbing to madness, or being taken over by that blade, means he's still got plenty of untapped potential. We need to investigate this matter thoroughly and come up with a plan of action for this new piece, and figure out whether or not, he can be an asst to us, or our plans for the mortal realm."
"Well Ishtar, looks like you're gonna get to have your fun with him, after all."
"Thank you Cronus, I will not fail you in this endeavor." Ishtar smiled. "May the power of trinity be with us. Trinity of Desire."
"Trinity of Time." Cronus said.
"Trinity of Fire." Lady Bone Demon added.
~Mortal Realm the Following Day~
"Seriously Tohru." Goku groaned, walking down the streets with her and Kanna walking between them. "What in the hell, made you think setting our newly built kitchen, on fire, was a good idea?"
"It was more instinct then an idea." Tohru said.
"Lady Tohru's always been destructive." Kanna said, munching on an apple.
"Seriously, I'm concerned you may have brain damage Tohru." Goku sighed.'Which makes me wonder why I've been letting her handle the grocery shopping on her own this entire time.' He thought as they passed by the entrance to the shopping center. 'Maybe she's not as bad there.'
"Wait, aren't we going in here?" Tohru asked.
"You mean you don't go to the supermarket down the street over there?" Goku asked, pointing in the direction of the supermarket.
"No, that place reminds me of the run ins I've had with knights and crusaders bases." Tohru said. "The shopping center reminds me of the Guilds Bazaars, which is a little better."
"We don't like castles." Kanna said.
"Huh, Dragon PTSD at its finest I guess." Goku said, following them into the shopping center.
Their first stop was the fish monger.
"Tohru, hey it's been a while."
"Hey there Mr. Toda." Tohru smiled, shocking Goku.
"You usually come alone. Who are these two, your lover and child?" Toda asked.
"No, this is Kanna, and Goku." Tohru smiled. "He's my Master."
"Master?"
"Tohru's our live in maid, so you can see what she means when she calls me master." Goku said.
"Monkey." Kanna said, grabbing Goku's leg. "Up, up."
"Alright, alright." Goku chuckled, before using his tail to lift her up, and swing her around, before putting her on his shoulders.
"Yay." Kanna cheered.
"Well isn't that adorable. I've got some fresh produce that just came in today." Toda said.
"I'll take six fillets of salmon, and six fillets of cod." Tohru smiled.
"Coming right up." Toda smiled.
After receiving their fish, the trio began making their way through the shopping center.
"He gave us a couple extra fillets on the house." Goku said, sounding astonished.
"That was sweet of him, wasn't it?" Tohru asked.
"Monkey, I'm hungry." Kanna said, tapping the top of Goku's head like a drum.
"Alright, we've got a couple more stops for groceries, then we can get some food before heading home." Goku said.
"Yay." Kanna cheered.
As they made their way through the market place, Goku couldn't help but notice how well Tohru was handling herself, and blending in with the human race, disguising her true form, as a Quirk, rather then what it was. It was impossible for him not to smile, knowing how she was towards humans, before they had actually met.
"Sorry for holding the two of you up." Tohru said.
"It's not a problem." Goku said. "Wanna get a couple of deserts before we get going?"
"Are you serious?" Tohru asked.
"Sure, what would you like?"
"An' eclair please."
"Cupcake." Kanna said.
"Alright, let's get you two a pastry." Goku smiled. "So Tohru, tell me about your name. Does it have anything to do with Thor?"
"Oh heavens no. My name came from an author in this world, at least that's what my parents told me." Tohru said.
"Very interesting." Goku said, before there was a scream.
"Someone help, that man stole my purse." A woman cried out.
"Shall I handle it?" Tohru asked.
"I got this." Goku said, putting Kanna down. "Watch Kanna for me, will you?"
"Sure thing." Tohru said, before Goku went running towards the purse thief.
"Hahaha, too far for them to catch me now."
"I don't think so." Goku said, tripping the thief, and taking the bag as he fell. "Don't you know you should never take what doesn't belong to you? I know times are tough these days, but that's no excuse for what you're doing."
After the thief landed on the ground, Goku stomped on his back, hitting a pressure point that paralyzed him, before he returned the lady's purse to her.
"Here you go ma'am."
"Thank you so much young man. Tell me, are you a hero?"
"Not yet. I'm a first year in U.A's hero course, so I'm well on my way."
"Oh dear, won't you get in trouble though?" The woman asked, looking to the downed man.
"I'll be fine. I didn't use my Quirk on him. All I did was hit a nerve in his back that temporarily paralyzed the thief." Goku stated.
"You truly are a wondrous person." The woman smiled.
After the police arrested the thief, and got Goku's statement, the trio of visitors left with Kanna eating a cupcake, and Tohru was eating an eclair.
"That was amazing Goku." Tohru smiled. "All you did was run in front of that thief and trip him up, yet you did it with such elegance and grace."
"You're blowing it way out of proportion." Goku said. "Besides, I nearly got arrested just from the way I look with this bone mask. They thought I was the villain, I was only able to avoid that, because of those people who stood up for me, and supported the truth."
"Monkey, lunch." Kanna said.
"Alright, we'll go and get some lunch now." Goku smiled. 'Maybe having my quiet, Quirkless life turned upside down, wasn't so bad. I got a cute little sister out of it after all.'
~The Following Morning~
"Police arrested seventy two villains at the scene, but the League's leader escaped. His whereabouts are unknown."
As the news continued playing on the television screen, an elderly man in a yellow and white hero costume sighed sitting back on his couch, as he read a letter sent to him from one of his students from his old teaching days.
"Greetings, the air is warm here, feels like summer is just around the corner. Hope this letter finds you well sir, in good health and even better spirits. This semester I took a position as a teacher at U.A High School, that's right, now guiding the next generation of heroes. I was hoping to find someone worthy of inheriting my power among the elite students of the school, a hero in training with outstanding test scores and a powerful Quirk, however before I ever began my ten-year at U.A, I met a young man. Even though he was weak, and had no Quirk to speak of, he showed incredible bravery. He rushed into a dangerous situation that caused Pro Heroes, including myself, to hesitate. He had managed to save the life of a classmate. He may not have had a plan when he acted, but he knew he had to do something. I feel like watching this young man spring into action taught me something that day, and it reminded me of the virtues I must embody in order to call myself a Pro. A hero. That's why, I meant it, when I told him, that he to can become a hero. Soon after that, I told this pupil, the secret of my Quirk, and proposed that I transfer it to him. This ability I have that's been passed on from person to person, cultivated and made stronger. The crystallization of power that binds itself to a courageous heart, for the good of those in need. One-for-All. He accepted without hesitation, and I began training him to overcome the trials he'd face to be accepted into U.A High. Even though he sometimes struggled with his newfound abilities, he never stopped fighting, and gave 100% as he tried to harness One-for-All, the entire time. I don't like to toot my own horn, but I believe I found the perfect person for me to pass my Quirk on to. He has shown me, time and again, he has what it takes to be a real hero. I'm still quite new to the roll of instructor. The day may come when I must trouble you, my old teacher, for advice. I'll be counting on your wisdom and patience when that time comes, until then, please take care of yourself, as the seasons begin to change. I'll continue to keep you updated on what's happening. Sincerely yours…"
"So… Toshinori has found a worthy successor to inherit One-for-All. That is fascinating." The elderly hero said, eating some pastries.
~Class 1-A~
"You guys, did you watch the news the other night?" Hagakure questioned.
"Yeah." Ojiro confirmed.
"It was so cool that we got a few seconds of screen time." She said. "Though I bet nobody noticed me hanging out in the background."
"Well, it'd be kinda hard to stand out when you're just a floating pair of gloves and boots that walk on their own." Shoji said.
"At least he wasn't blunt." Ojiro said.
"We're totally big deals." Kaminari said leaning back in his chair. "Those news channels love us, we're basically celebrities."
"Yeah it's kinda crazy right?" Kirishima questioned.
"Get over yourselves." Jiro said. "The Hero Course that pumps out pro's was attacked, and that's all they cared about."
"Putting all that aside, who knows what would have happened to us, if the teachers hadn't shown up when they did." Sero sighed.
"Did you guys see All Might fighting the bird guy?" Sato asked. "Then Sukehiro managed to beat up the guy who had grabbed him, he was almost as strong as All Might."
"Yes. Both their strengths are truly a thing of wonder." Tokoyami said. "Curious though, after the fight Sukehiro, you collapsed out of nowhere, similarly to when you had that heart attack. Why is that?"
"This would be the reason why." Goku said, showing his forearm, and the tattoo on it. "Someone with a blood manipulation Quirk, similar to Vlad King's, used my blood to create this tattoo, and the excruciating pain caused by it, was more then I could handle after exhausting myself in the fight. Now class is about to begin so let's all get focused. Iida, get in your seat."
"How shameful, I'm the only one not at his desk." Iida said, before rushing to his seat.
"Hey Tsu." Mina said, turning and leaning back to look at Tsu, before she nearly fell back, right as Tsu caught her. "So… who do you think's gonna teach class today?"
"No idea, Mr. Aizawa's still in the hospital recovering from his injuries." Tsu said.
"Morning Class." Macaque said, coming into class.
"Who's he?" The rest of the class, minus Goku, questioned.
"My name's Macaque. Now if you'll all take your seats, we can get started." Macaque stated with a smile. "Due to your teacher's hospitalization, I'll be your teacher until further notice. Anyways, onto the announcement for the day. From what I understand, you've all had a helluva week, however your fight isn't over, not just yet."
There was a tense silence in the air as the students were all wondering what he meant, before he actually spoke up.
"The U.A Sports Festival is coming up." Macaque stated.
"Why would you scare us like that?" The entire class questioned.
"I like to put a little fear in my students, gives them a little extra energy through the day and to laugh about it later."
"The Sports Festival." The class cheered.
"Yes. Let's go kick some ass." Kirishima cheered, all hyped up, before Kaminari pressed his hand against his face and stopped him.
"Wait a second. Is it really such a good idea to hold the sports festival so soon after the villains snuck inside?" Jiro asked.
"She's got a point, they could attack once we're all in the same place." Goku added.
"That might happen but it's unlikely to, as the security will have been beefed up, and multiple Pro Heroes will be on guard duty there. But I am with you on this. However, the administration thinks this is a good way to show… that the threat has been handled, and our school is safer than ever." Macaque explained. "This event is a huge opportunity for all students in U.A, it's not something the school can cancel because of a few dozen villains."
"I suppose that makes sense, we have to show them we're stronger than they think." Mina smiled.
"Now for a brief update on the history of the U.A Sports Festival." Macaque said. "The U.A Sports Festival is one of the most watched events in the entire world. In the past, everyone obsessed over the Olympics, but that all started to change, when Quirks started appearing. Now, the Olympics have been drastically reduced in terms of scale and viewership. For anyone who cares about competition, there's only one tournament that matters, and that would be the annual U.A Sports Festival."
"An' top heroes everywhere will be watching. This is where you get scouted." Momo said.
"She's right. After graduating, a lot of people join Pro Agencies as a Sidekick." Kaminari stated giving a thumbs up.
"Yeah, but that's as far as some people go, they miss their chance to go indie and stay eternal sidekicks." Jiro stated, turning to Kaminari. "Actually, that's probably where you're headed, you're kinda dumb."
"Now-now that's enough picking on your classmate Ms. Jiro." Macaque said. "It's true that joining a famous hero agency can garter you greater experience and popularity, those reasons are why the festival matters. If you wanna go pro one day, then this event could open a path for you. One chance a year, three chances in a lifetime, which means no aspiring hero can afford to miss this festival. That means you better not slack off on your training."
"Yes Sir." The class stated.
"Alright, now that we've got that out of the way, time for study hall." Macaque smiled, pulling a book out of his back pocket. "I'm just getting to the good part of this book."
~Lunch Time~
"Yeah that villain stuff sucked sure, but I'm pumped for these games." Kirishima said.
"We put on a good show, and we're basically on the road to being pro's." Sero said.
"Yeah, this is why I'm even here in the first place." Sato stated punching his palm.
"We get so few chances, we have to make the most of this." Tokoyami said.
"Oh man Ojiro, I'm getting kind of nervous about the festival." Hagakure said, standing in front of Ojiro's desk. "I have to come up with a way to get noticed."
"Uh sure, maybe you should be looking at a shinier costume or something?" Ojiro asked. "Otherwise you're gonna have to try really hard."
"So what you up to Goku?" Mina asked, coming to his side.
"Nothing much." Goku shrugged.
"Man, you're so lucky Shoji." Kaminari said, sitting on a desk. "People are bound to notice your unique Quirk."
"Sure, but what matters is I show them how useful I can be." Shoji said.
"No doubt you'll make a scene to." Jiro said, trying not to laugh from the memory of Kaminari when he fried his brain.
"This is gonna be nuts. Everyone's so excited." Izuku said.
"Well yeah, of course we are. We enrolled in this school, with the soul aim to become heroes. So naturally we're all getting fired up." Iida said, moving his arms about like a robot.
"Wow Iida, those are some interesting moves, ribbit." Tsu said as she went to lunch with Mina.
"You both have to be excited to, right Midoriya, Sukehiro?" Iida asked.
"I told you to just call me Goku." He sighed.
"Oh yeah, of course I am. I'm also nervous." Izuku said.
"Deku. Iida. Goku."
The trio looked behind them and nearly had a panic attack when they saw Uraraka, glowing with a dark aura for battle.
"Let's do our best in the Sports Festival." Uraraka said.
"Uraraka, what happened to your face?" Izuku asked.
"Seriously, what's up? You're normally like, the most laid back girl ever." Mina said.
"Okay, let's get you out of here and to lunch, before you cause a riot." Goku sighed, pushing Uraraka out of the class room and down the hall, Iida and Izuku joining them. "I'll meet up with you and Kirishima later Mina." He called into the class.
A short bit later, after calming Uraraka down, the four of them could be seen walking through the halls to the cafeteria.
"Hey Uraraka?"
"What's up?"
"What made you decide to come to U.A, what made you want to become a Pro-Hero?" Izuku questioned.
"Oh, well because… I'm wanting to become a hero, for the money." Uraraka said.
"For the money?" Izuku, Iida, and Goku questioned, as if trying to clarify if they heard her right.
"You wanna be a hero, so you can get rich?" Izuku asked.
"Wow, did not see that coming from a girl as sweet and laid back as you Uraraka." Goku said, genuinely surprised.
"If we're cutting to the chase, then yeah." Uraraka said. "I'm sorry if it sounds greedy. You three have such admirable motivations, I hope you don't think less of me now."
"Uraraka, there's nothing wrong with wanting to provide yourself with a certain type of life style. It's perfectly natural. I mean, no one is perfect, I certainly ain't perfect, farthest thing from it in fact, so there's no judgement from me." Goku smiled.
"He's right. Your goal is to support your well being which is a perfectly admirable ambition to have." Iida said, with his usual over dramatic enthusiasm and actions.
"Mmhmm, it's just kinda surprising." Izuku agreed.
"Well you see, my family owns a construction company. But we haven't gotten any work lately, aside from one job my parents were contracted to this past year, so we're flat broke. Anyway, this isn't something I usually tell other people but…"
"Construction eh?" Iida asked.
"Ah, if she got licensed I bet she could use her Quirk to bring cost down a lot." Izuku said.
"Which means they could sell their heavy lifting equipment thanks to what her Quirk can do." Goku said.
"She could float everything." Iida said.
"I know right? I've been telling my dad that since I was a kid. But… they'd rather have me live my dreams and go out on adventures, than being chained down and helping them with the family business. I know they just want me to enjoy my life while I can and not bother worrying about them, but what I really want is to help them." Uraraka said. "I'm gonna become a pro. I'll sign with a good agency, and make plenty of money, then I'll be able to let my parents have an easy life."
"Gotta say Uraraka, I'm touched by your motives." Goku smiled. "You're not here because of some fantasy of becoming a hero. You're more down to earth than any of us, and that's saying something given your Quirk."
"Hahahahahahaha… Young Midoriya, and Yong Sukehiro, are here." All Might called out dramatically, pointing his finger at them.
"Hi All Might, what's up?" Goku asked.
"Lunch. You two wanna eat with me?" All Might asked holding up a wrapped up bento box.
"That's adorable." Uraraka said, trying to hold in her laughter.
"What do you say?" All Might inquired.
"Well…"
"Go on you two." Iida said. "We'll just have lunch together tomorrow."
"Thanks Iida." Goku smiled. "Sure thing All Might, we're coming."
All the while to the teacher's lounge, Izuku couldn't help but think that something might have been wrong.
~Cafeteria~
"I wonder what All Might wanted with Deku and Goku?" Uraraka pondered as she was standing in line with Iida to get lunch.
"Who knows? But their powers are similar to his, so maybe he's taken a liking to them both and is gonna offer to bring them under his wing as his protégées, and potential sidekicks for when they graduate." Iida said.
"Oh wow, they're so lucky." Uraraka smiled, neither of them aware of Todoroki listening in on their conversation.
'All Might, Izuku Midoriya, and Son Goku Sukehiro huh?' She thought. 'I wonder…'
~Lounge~
"Only 50 minutes?" Izuku questioned sitting on the couch in the teacher's lounge with Goku and All Might right across from them as he used the water boiler to pour hot water over tea leaves in the mini kettle.
"Yeah, that's about how long I can use my power now. I went past my limits one too many times." Toshinori explained. "That Nomu was a real tough customer, he took a lot out of me. At this point I can barely even look like All Might for an hour and a half."
"I'm so sorry, I should have just…"
"None of this is your fault Izuku." Goku said stopping the green haired boy from apologizing, while putting a cup of tea down.
"He's right. You don't need to apologize for anything. Man we are alike, you and me." Toshinori smiled.
"Thank you for the tea."
"I brought you both here to talk about the festival." Toshinori said. "The problem is you can fully control the output of One-for-All, but you lack the restraint needed for using it without busting your arms up. What I'm wanting to know is, what your plan is during the festival?"
"Well, I figured I'd train to be able to control the power to maximize the benefits in the festival. I'd use it to make a good impression on the scouts for hero agencies. Trouble is like you said, I still have a problem with restraining One-for-All, and still end up hurting myself when doing so." Izuku said.
"I might have a theory about that actually." Goku said. "I think that you may be able to control it, subconsciously that is."
"What do you mean?" Toshinori asked.
"I'm saying, Midoriya doesn't like hurting people, but he will fight to defend. I think that if he were to use his power against another living person, I'd bet he'd subconsciously put it to a level of power, where his opponent would only be incapacitated, instead of being seriously injured, or killed." Goku explained.
"That certainly sounds like something that would happen with Young Midoriya, and it is some progress at least." Toshinori said getting up, and heading for the window. "To be frank, I don't have much time left as the world's Symbol of Peace. Soon, I'll have to put that title to bed. After meeting you Young Sukehiro, I believe that the both of you, will be the heroes who take my place, as the pillars of hope for this world. Young Midoriya, do you still feel the same way you did, when I offered you this power? Do you still wanna be a hero?"
"Yes." Izuku said, firmly getting to his feet.
"Excellent, the time has come for you to prove it." Toshinori said. "This Sports Festival, it's something that the Pros, no, the entire country, will be watching very closely. I want you both to think of this Sports Festival, as your debut. You are the fledgling Symbols of Peace. The next All Might. Izuku Midoriya, Son Goku Sukehiro, I want you to introduce yourselves to the world, and proudly say, I am here."
Before Toshinori could say anymore, the doors slid open and Elma came bursting in, and marched up to Goku.
"Uh… can I help you, Ms. Elma?" Goku asked, getting to his feet, and backing up, before Elma grabbed him by the blazer.
"You're gonna take me to where Tohru is, right now." Elma stated.
"Where… crap, you're with the Harmony Faction, aren't you?" Goku asked.
"Uh… what's going on?" Toshinori asked.
"You see, Elma doesn't have a Quirk. She's an actual dragon." Goku said.
"She's what?" Izuku asked.
"She's from the same world as my mom, and the rest of my house mates, and our substitute teacher Macaque." Goku stated.
"Hold on… I'm not familiar with all of what you're talking about." Izuku said.
"Toshinori sir? Please fill him in while I try to calm Ms. Elma down." Goku sighed as Elma dragged him out of there. "Please send flowers to my funeral."
~After School~
"Um… Why the hell are you all here?" Uraraka questioned seeing the crowd of students standing outside their classroom door as they were all ready to head home and leave.
"Do you students have some sort of business with our class?" Iida inquired.
"They're scouting out the competition idiots." Bakugo said, walking straight for the crowd, while some of the students of 1-A looked at him in disbelief. "We're the class that survived a real villain attack."
"As much as I hate to agree with the Pomeranian, he's right." Goku said. "They wanna look at us with their own eyes."
"The hell did you call me Monkey Boy?"
"You wanna go another round? I'm more then happy to give you another lesson in humiliation." Goku said.
"Tsk, whatever, it's not worth my time anyway. At least now you know what a future pro looks like." Bakugo growled, stopping in front of the crowd. "Now move it extras."
"Typical Pomeranian, always thinking himself higher than the rest of society." Goku sighed.
"You can't walk around calling people extra's, just because you don't know who they are." Iida said, as Bakugo turned to leave, ignoring what he was saying.
"So this is Class 1-A. I heard you guys were impressive, but you just sound like an ass." Someone said, coming in through the crowd. "Is everyone in the hero course delusional or just him?"
"It's just him. He's the only delusional one here in the course." Goku said. "Son Goku Sukehiro."
"Good to know. My name is Hitoshi Shinso from General Studies, Class 1-C." He said, rubbing the back of his neck. "I wanted to be in the Hero Course, but like many others here, I was forced to choose a different path. Such is life. I didn't cut it the first time, but now I have another chance. If any of us do well in the Sports Festival, the teachers can decide to transfer us to the Hero Course, and they'll have to transfer people out, to make room. Scouting the competition, maybe some of my peers are, but I'm here to let you know that if you don't bring your very best, I'll steal your spot, right out from under you. Consider this a declaration of war."
'Where'd this guy even come from?' Iida, Uraraka, and Izuku thought in unison.
After a brief moment of silence, and Bakugo starring down Shinso, the blonde Pomeranian made his way out of the classroom and through the crowd, as they parted for him.
"Hey you. I'm from Class-B right next door to you. We heard you fought some villains, and I came to see if that was true." A silver haired boy, sounding freakishly similar to Gajeel, said through the crowd. "So don't get too cocky during the Sports Festival."
"Oh, but how can they not get cocky and full of themselves Tetsutetsu?" A new, snide voice said, as a young man with blonde hair, pushed his way to the crowd, and standing next to Shinso. "Class-A's supposed to be the superior heroics class aren't they? So it's only natural they'll get cocky and try to portray themselves as superior to the rest of us."
"What's your deal? The only one who's done that from our class, is literally Bakugo." Goku questioned, getting some bad vibes from this guy.
"My name is Neito Monoma, I'm also from Class-B. I'm here to make my own declaration of war against the riffraff of Class-A." The blonde kid said. "Pretty soon it will be Class-B taking the spotlight at the end of the Sports Festival, leaving you vile mutts in the cold, like it should be."
"What are you insinuating?" Mina asked, coming to the front of the group, standing beside Goku.
"Yeah man, I don't really like what you're implying here." Kirishima said, coming to his friends side.
"It's quite obvious, isn't it? Or are your canine minds too small to comprehend what I'm saying?" Monoma asked, before noticing Goku's brown furred tail. "Oh sorry, I guess some of them would be monkey minds."
"This guy is really, really testing my patience." Goku growled, the emblem on his right arm glowing.
"You think that just because you got to fight villains, and save the day, it made you the star attractions. The biggest hits of U.A's First Years? Well guess what, Class-B is just as good, if not better than you, so don't go looking down on us because you actually got to fight some baddies. Pretty soon, we'll have you eating out of our hands like the dogs and monkeys you are." Monoma stated.
"You make it sound like they wanted the villains to attack them, just for the attention." Shinso said.
"Hey if the shoe fits. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if one of them actually orchestrated the attack and hired the villa…" Monoma was stopped as Goku grabbed him by the shirt, and lifted him off the ground.
"Here's the thing punk. I will not tolerate you making false accusations, based on your own biased ego." Goku stated. "My friends, could have died in that battle. An' I could have died. I was targeted by the villains as well. Not just All Might, because one of them had a personal grudge to settle with my mom. Do you know what it's like, to face real danger, against someone who's bigger then All Might? I still have nightmares about it. No one, in Class-A would risk the lives of their classmates just for a publicity stunt. An' if you're wanting to be a hero because of the fame and fortune you'll garner, then you have zero clue what it means to actually be a hero."
"Says the pathetic piece of garbage, who was Quirkless less then a year ago." Monoma stated.
There was a tense moment of silence, as everyone just looked at the blonde in shock, some wishing him a quick death, others wishing he'd burn in hell for that remark. But as Goku pulled his fist back to punch Monoma in the face, his wrist was grabbed, and everyone was surprised to see, their substitute teacher, Macaque was the one who stepped in and stopped the beat down from happening.
"Goku stop. He's not worth your time or energy." Macaque said, lowering Goku's arm before he got the teen to drop Monoma. "He's just a bully with an inferiority complex. Nothing special. Even though I shouldn't be saying that, as I am a teacher, I do feel Neito Monoma, is not fit to be in the Hero Course." He stated, before looking at Shinso. "You on the other hand my friend, I do believe you are more qualified then this punk."
"Me?" Shinso asked.
"Is there anyone else with bags under their eyes, and purple hair standing there?" Macaque asked. "Neito Monoma, five days detention. Sukehiro, two days detention. Both of you will serve those with me, starting tomorrow after school."
"Why do I get five days, and he only gets two?" Monoma asked.
"Because he's not the one who came here, actively seeking out a conflict." Macaque stated.
"That's so not fair." Monoma complained.
"Another complaint about your detention, and I'll add another nine days to it. Now everyone go home, school's over." Macaque said, before closing the door. "Now Sukehiro, I believe you had something you wanted to talk to everyone about?"
"Uh… right." Goku said, calming down with smoke coming off his shirt from the mark. "So everyone, I recently moved to a bigger place, and I know we haven't exactly known one another for very long, but I was hoping that if I invited you to a house warming party, you'd all like to at least come and join the fun. You're all my classmates, and we all faced uncertainty together, so I think it's only fair I invite you all."
"What about Kacchan?" Izuku asked.
"He's the only one, I'd rather not invite." Goku said.
"A party sounds great. I'll bring a cake." Sato said.
"Everyone's free to bring anything they'd like, or nothing at all." Goku stated.
"When's the party?"
"It's this weekend, around 5." Goku said.
"Is participation for the party mandatory?" Momo asked.
"No, it's completely optional." Goku smiled. "You don't have to come if you don't want to, and if you do come, you're more then welcome to bring a friend. Just let me know and I'll hand you the address for the party."
"Alright, now that the invites to the party are taken care of, I think it's time we all went home, and relaxed. After that little encounter with the Class-B brat, I could use a stiff drink." Macaque said. "Tomorrow, we'll be working on what not to do, when entering a burning building."
