Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back for another story, this one about Pokémon. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I don't own Pokémon; Nintendo and a few others do.
The Pokémon continued to rush around the rock where its owner dwelled. It looked up at him, eyes full of red light.
It was a Mimikyu, the Pokémon of Hervi, a boy who wanted to be a Pokémon trainer.
"Mim?" Mimikyu asked as it floated up to the rock. It was given a pat on the head as his owner looked at him.
"Scared?" Hervi asked, less curious and mainly joking with the Pokémon. "I'm ok, long as you're here? I'm always ok." Hervi added as the Pokémon smiled.
Hervi could only question why he was here. His hometown was nice, but most of his family had their own obligations, their own ideas. His was simply to plan out more places to visit soon.
"Mim?" Mimikyu asked, tilting his head to the side as Hervi rolled his eyes at the idea.
"No, we aren't going to be challenging the Spikemuth gym." Hervi stated, shaking his head at the ridiculous notion. "Your one of my ONLY Pokémon. I don't want you to get hurt yet, Marsh." Hervi added, laying his head on the Pokémon's head.
He felt the Pokémon shift its weight under him. Marshadow was the first Pokémon he had gotten, a gift upon his 8th birthday. Hervi liked the Pokémon more then anything, Marshadow understood him, his grandfather had told him the Pokémon wanted love.
Maybe that was why he and his Pokémon had such a strong bond. He rather enjoyed the company, Hervi wanted to build a unique and strong team of Pokémon to take on the region… But that meant saving up money for the trip.
He leapt down from the stone, clutching the Pokémon onto his shoulder while he hummed. Mimikyu clung to his shoulder, looking around as his owner started to walk towards their home.
Hervi held up an Ultra Ball, it had taken months to earn enough money to buy it. Hervi hadn't asked his parents for any help buying the object, he wanted to prove that he could make his own way in life… Well, start the journey.
"Mim?" Hervi heard from the small Pokémon.
"No, the ball isn't for you." Hervi responded, patting the Pokémon atop its fuzzy head once more. "You've liked being out of your Pokeball, you think I'm going to stuff you in here?" Hervi asked, eyebrow raised to made himself seem more curious then he was.
The Pokémon was silent, uncurious at the moment. His owner's mirth was one of the reasons he stuck around and took care of his owner just like he did. Their bond was rather awkward, but it was nice, not something the Pokémon would trade for anything.
"You ok, buddy?" Hervi questioned the small creature and ran his fingers over its head. "Don't pass out yet, I'm not going to feed you if you do." Hervi stated, earning a growl from the Pokémon.
Then again? Mimikyu ALWAYS seemed to want to cause trouble, it made Hervi both wary and amused at the same time by the Pokémon that clung to his shoulder, more off put by anything at the moment.
"Mim." Mimikyu stated, digging its fingers into the owner's shoulder.
"I am going to feed you, your being greedy." Hervi stated, ignoring the Pokémon's annoyed attempts to clutch harder. "Do you want to be fed or keep messing with me?" Hervi asked while he turned to the small creature.
Mimikyu was silent, being annoyed for the slight teasing the Pokémon was given by its owner. Both reached the door of Hervi's house as he opened the door.
"Ok, go upstairs." Hervi stated while he cracked his back and hummed despite feeling the weight of the Pokémon leave his shoulder.
He didn't know what he planned to do for a while. His next move was to capture another Pokémon, making sure to gain the Pokémon he needed for a trip outside the city.
Mimikyu booked it up the stairs like a Noibat. It was rather adorable in his mind, but it also made him laugh more than anything.
He quietly followed after the Pokémon, leaving his shoes on the stairs as he shook his head. He let out a yawn and thought about his next Pokémon on the list that he had been mentally making.
