Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Shadows in the Dark. Enjoy the 4800-word chapter. I do not own Pokémon; Nintendo and a few others do.
Hervi fell silent, all too curious as to how this game would go, all too focused on how to end this. The game was a lot weirder than it seemed to be when it was all done and dusted, the move was to be something weird little thing. There was a lot more to be done… A LOT more that had not properly been exposed as of now.
"So… Want to talk about anything or…?" Hervi questioned, interested in his surroundings more than her.
She watched as he tilted his head, curious as of now. She poked at her cheek as the Mimikyu floated next to him. He patted the Pokémon on the head, a lot more curious as of the time being.
"Your Mimikyu is the first Pokémon you've ever had, yes?" Marnie questioned to which she waved her hands back and forth.
She tapped on her arms before she tilted her head to the side, interested in what his move would be.
"Yes, just like how your Morpeko is your first Pokémon?" Hervi questioned to which Marnie stated to herself.
She fell silent, curious about what to do next. She tapped on her arms, interested in that as of now. She looked at his Pokémon which bobbed back and forth in the air. It seemed to be something that there was more to this.
She watched as Morpeko hopped alongside her. Her backpack on her back seemed a lot lighter than it had been before now. Whatever seemed to be coming would be a lot worse than it seemed.
"Are you going to be, ok?" Marnie questioned to which Hervi nodded, looking up at the stars above their heads.
What he did notice was that the stars were weird. It always seemed as if they had been something that had been going on.
She did not know what was going on. No, she did not wish to. There were a lot worse problems when it had been done and spoken. Such a thing should not or wouldn't have been tolerated for now. All that had been on the mind was such worthless banter.
"Are you going to be, ok?" He heard as he nodded, looking over at her with such an interest that it almost threw his mind off the idea.
He was too quiet, too thrown off by this. It had been for now. It had not yet gotten to where he hadn't gotten such a spot.
"Yeah, what about you? Going to be happy with your little Fanclub all following you?" Marnie heard Hervi question before he hummed to himself.
There were a few minutes of silence as he glanced at her blue eyes. Eyes that had the energy within them to conquer the world if she wanted to.
It was such a silencing thing. She smiled and rolled her eyes before they both looked at the group of people whom both knew would be pestering them for now. They were not stupid at the time being.
"We might want to get going before your little Fanclub ends up trying to ask for autographs. They are going to be all over you the first badge you get at this rate." Hervi said before he slowly started down the path.
"You know I am going to win the match when we have it. Your Pokémon are not going to be strong enough to fight." Marnie stated to which there was a few seconds of silence.
"Yeah, no. I don't think I'm going to lose that fight, I'm no top-tier trainer, but I'm not going to lose any time soon." Marnie heard as she looked at him.
"You'd have lost that fight if I didn't try and give you a chance to have gotten there," Marnie stated before Hervi rolled his eyes, looking around before he clicked his tongue.
"Hey, just because I am not one of those people? I am not going to have backed down when it was all said and done." Hervi before he seemed to have tilted his head.
He was not prepared for what came next. He did not know what it'd have been when they battled. He did not know what it was all said and done. She tapped at him, too curious for now there was a lot more he didn't know about such a thing. A lot worse than he could have handled. It was so odd, so tiring for him. The problems had yet to persist, to grow. It had not yet gotten where it should have been. Their problems were not going to end anytime soon.
He tipped his head to the side before he seemed to have gotten more and more tired. It had just been too odd when it was all over. He rubbed at his chin, glancing around the place, this was going to have been fun and boring for now and forever at the end of their days at the end of the day.
Marnie stayed silent, only finding this to be odder and odder when the time came down to it. She knew more than anything that Hervi was simply messing with her and she would be able to have accepted that for the time being.
"Are you sure you're going to be, ok?" Marnie asked to which he shrugged.
"Don't know. I just do not know, Marnie. It is going to be a long road and we both are just going through it little by little when push comes to shove." Hervi stated before he sighed to himself.
"Hey, I didn't pick to go on this trip, you know," Marnie said to which he only rolled his eyes.
"Everyone picks this trip sooner or later. It just comes down to who is coming and who's going at the end of the day. Trust me. It is not as bad as you seem to think it is." Hervi stated before he sighed to himself with a bit of amusement. "Then again? I am just a kid from a small town so what do I know honestly?" Hervi asked with amusement.
"Your hopeless," Marnie added to which he shrugged at her.
"Maybe, maybe not," Hervi stated with a smile. "We can't tell yet," Hervi said as she sighed, a knowing gleam in her eyes as she did so.
It was clear cut that these problems were to be less of an issue and more of a fun little distraction. They all had games to plan and it was clear their games would continue to outlast whatever little issues were to come.
It was all too much of a thing that had to be fixed and it was clear cut if anything just how little they cared.
"So, where are we going to head first? There are a lot of cities in the region and a lot of badges to get." Hervi stated to which Marnie fell silent.
"I don't know at all, there's a lot of cities to try and cover," Marnie said as Morpeko danced around her legs. "We are going to need to cover a lot more ground to cover. We need to get going tonight and make sure to camp tonight." Marnie stated as Hervi nodded before he frowned at himself.
He nodded before looking around. It was clear more and more problems were upon the mind.
"Whatever happens will happen now and it is clear all of this is going to end properly. You going to be ready for a road trip all over the region?" Hervi questioned to which she nodded. "Good. Then we have got to get going. There are a lot of cities to look over." Hervi said as Mimikyu looked at him.
It made him pat the Pokémon on the head as he looked around and it was clear such things were not going to be so easy. Perhaps he wanted more and more something to handle, Hervi was weird to Marnie… Yet she liked that about him, she liked the idea he was nice and caring yet so weird.
Hervi watched as she sighed and tapped her hands on her arms and then looked down at the ground, a small smirk that had been on her face covered her face. It was all too much for them for now.
"Whatever happens? We are going to deal with it. Anyway…?" Marnie asked before she slowly started to walk forward with interest. "C'mon, we are going to burn daylight as of now if we don't get going. We will have to sleep in town." Marnie stated as she fell more and more silent.
It was clear that Hervi was not going to be anything more than amused. Her antics were not going to do more than amuse him and it was clear more and more this issue could do nothing more than placate him. The two of them slowly started to think of places they could go, this was not going to end anyway while he shook his head before yawning.
Hervi crossed his arms and then sighed to himself before yawning to himself before now. This was not going to be something easily resolved for now and yet? All of it seemed to be cascading over while he questioned what to do next.
Hervi yawned to himself and looked as he sighed, more annoyed than anything else. Marnie raised an eyebrow at him and yet she looked around, tired and focused more and more upon an issue that could be well adapted to.
She crossed her arms, smirking at her new friend, for now, tired only more and more amused as Hervi's Mimikyu looked at his owner alongside her Morpeko, bored for now, tired and unsure as to how it might get along.
"We need to get going," Marnie stated before she gently tried to pull him along with her as Hervi simply rolled his eyes, clicking his tongue against the roof of his mouth.
He was tired, unsure if he could trust Marnie but still being alongside the line. He clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth, yawning to himself as if he felt rude, and looked upwards.
"Are you ok?" Marnie asked as Hervi walked next to her, only bored and smirking.
"Don't know, I'm getting used to being on the road at the end of the day and I don't even know if I can deal with it. never expected to be on the road anytime soon, didn't think I'd get this far, to be honest. You? I am still expecting it not to get anywhere anytime soon… We're not going to get anywhere sitting here more and more at the end of the time being." Marnie stated before he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth.
It was odd, very odd, and yet it didn't at all seem as if Hervi was trying something fun. She watched as he poked her in the side by accident as she raised an eyebrow. He didn't at all know if Marnie was used to his antics while she turned and looked to the side.
"Mimikyu isn't going to be something she could handle at the end of the day. Are you going to be ok with these problems and all that getting in the way for now? We ARE going to need more supplies." Marnie said as Hervi said before looking to the side.
"Problems? Maybe, we are still getting along with each other, aren't we?" Marnie heard from Hervi as he paused to get away from it all.
These measures would continue to get all over it at the end of the day. Marnie simply rolled her eyes and smirked as she poked him to the side before Hervi frowned, unsure of what needed to be said, done… Clicking his fingers against the empty Pokeball on his side, eager to add new friends to his collection.
Marnie felt more and more tired as of now, she questioned what Hervi would do, for now, unsure if it could become worse and worse now. They all had to try and get what they wanted and nothing could allow them to get going for now.
Marnie seemed to yawn as she looked at Hervi who was silent before clicking her tongue against her head, eager to see it all end, for now, unsure of what may or may not end sadly.
They had a lot more to try and figure out sometime soon and they were able to relax before now, something nice. Something that could only grow nicer and nicer with each passing second and they knew it was more and more exhausting at the end of the day, too unsure and uncertain of themselves, figuring it all out with each passing second.
She looked at Hervi who had been too busy, thinking more and more focused upon something that could have been harder and harder to figure out at the end of the day.
He looked down at the ground, utterly tired and thrown off by everything at the moment.
"Do you want to go anywhere first or are we just going to start walking until we find a town?" Hervi asked as Marnie fell silent and he looked down at the ground now, utterly unaware of what to do next.
He was all too happy to figure it all out, something that he could only grow more and unsure of what to try and figure out at the moment before he looked down at the ground, all too much, all too interested in what to say and do next as it came down to it.
Still? Whatever they did next would be an odd little situation between them both, they were all too hopeful and everything else. What little they did do next would get harder and harder at every little turn.
"Just start walking and then keep going from there. We need to keep going before the rest of my… Fans keep up." Marnie said before she looked down at the ground, interested more and more by it all, something else that could grow more and more tiresome.
She hummed, cracking her fingers and looking down at the ground before now. She rubbed at her temples, utterly tired by everything and anything around her with such seriousness to try and figure it all out within a certain time.
Their two Pokémon floated around their feet, reminding them both that both of them had slowly grown used to or were growing used to it. He hummed and looked at Marnie who had been tired utterly baffled by it all, something that could grow more attached than anything else.
They had a lot more bafflement to understand it and not at all deal with it sometime soon, something they couldn't control.
"Are you ok? We need to get going and I don't even know what's going on but I know we're going to be on the road. We have a lot more to talk about anyway." Hervi stated before he clicked his tongue and all of that to figure out now.
He and she continued talking and walking as did she, the two slowly started to smile as both glanced upwards and into the sky while he yawned down at it. All had a lot more to figure out, something as he cracked his fingers before now, looked upwards and into the sky, all too amused by her antics as of now.
He had a lot more upon his mind, upon all minds. There was truly nothing he could or would see himself doing, not at all willing to back down or even give ground. It just wasn't his thing when it came down to it, something that didn't even slightly bother him.
"Are you going to be able to relax or not?" Marnie asked as Hervi hummed and nodded, relaxing if but for a moment, he didn't finally manage to say anything for now.
Something he could only relax upon seeing it end and relax upon the end of his dwellings upon it.
"I got an idea, one that might work, maybe or maybe not." Marnie heard as she raised an eyebrow, looking at Hervi who had been utterly and entirely silent to himself, unsure of his work… Unsure of what he was getting at as he seemed able to relax once more, unaware of it all.
"You want to make camp here?" Marnie asked, glancing up and into the sky.
"Well, the next town is about 5 miles away, and even if we get there? We're still going to need every single bit of energy we have and then we have to deal with the fact we have almost nothing like money… Unless you want to eat on a budget which means challenging the next group of people and getting cash from them to try and pay for food and board." Hervi said to which Marnie fell silent.
She tugged on her bag, weighing her options as she knew he and the rest of the others in the region were all too willing… It was a nightmare; one she could get behind at least for now and she knew well enough to understate just what was coming.
Marnie sighed and finally understood he had a point. They needed time to get their bearings and it wasn't like she had a lot of money, maybe enough for a handful of towns. She defiantly was not going to be asking her brothers.
There was all too much at the time being, he didn't at all know when it came down to it. There was a lot more upon which he could relax now.
What she was able to do next meant little to him as he clicked his tongue against the roof of her mouth. Both of them had a damn point, unsure and unable to relax before they managed to find a relaxing for now and unsure of it all.
She finally nodded, able to relax once more, unable to properly think, to find meaning in this when push came to shove… All of it weighed on him. All such properties were upon his mind when he managed to relax about what to do next before now.
He crossed his arms and then seemed to be able to relax once more as she seemed to understate what to deal with next before she managed
There was something that could and could continue as she set her backpack on the ground, unsure and uncertain of herself as she sighed and looked around, pondering if for any reason she could settle down and stop this incessant need to wonder. She found none to her dismay and it bugged her to some insane degree when they could both relax and ponder everything.
There was a desire to need to relax, to swim, to grow beyond it all… Beyond all such restraints and skills.
All of it just cut deeper and deeper into him as Marnie sighed and slowly sat down on the ground, there was enough space for her to set up the tent… Yet she turned to Mimikyu who floated next to her.
There was a second of silence as she looked down at the ground and then at her Morpeko, unsure and uncertain before she gestured to the campsite.
"Can you use your Mimikyu to help me set up the camp?" Marnie asked as he shrugged and looked at her with interest.
There was a massive need to try and figure everything out for the moment, she wanted nothing more than to get to relax once more… There was a desire to be better than this and grow as a person, simply unsure and uncertain for now as he nodded and complied with her request every single thing when it came down to it.
There was a lot more upon the mind anyway as Mimikyu who seemed to have heard the request used psychic, gripping her bag before moving it towards the center of the area. He sighed before now and looked downwards.
All of it seemed only to be more and more relaxing as she looked downwards at the ground. He sighed and leaned on the tree before going to help her. It was an adorable Pokémon even if it scared people but people had to know limits and had to keep going when those limits were reached. Anything and well? It just would not work out for the best… Not even a little.
"Going to call it a night?" Hervi asked, placing his hands in his pockets before sighing. "It's going to be a very long night before we get anywhere on things, you know… A very long." Hervi said before he hummed and looked down at the ground.
"I'll… Help where I can." Marnie stated as she got a nod. "You don't sound that sad about leaving," Marnie said before she got a hum.
"When I was a kid? I had a dream to get out, to see the rest of the world the way I see it now. it is not exactly the best dream in my book and yet I keep doing it because I want to see the world and see how different things are. Maybe it is weird to want to grow, not sure if that's weird." Marnie heard from Hervi.
"No, just not a usual dream people have about things," Marnie said before she sighed and looked down at the ground.
There was a very strong desire to be superior to her views now as she seemed to try and understand what to try and figure out as she hummed more, she glanced up at the sky once more.
She sighed once more as she looked downwards at the end of the day as she sighed once more and then looked downwards at the ground.
She was unsure of what to see and do as she hummed what to try and figure out as she looked at the end of the mind. She did not at all know as she hummed.
"Are you going to be, ok?" Marnie questioned before she hummed to herself.
"Are you going to be, ok?" Hervi asked before he hummed to himself as he looked downwards at the ground.
"This is going to be a LONG day, isn't it?" Marnie asked before she looked downwards at the ground, unsure of what else to try and figure out as of now.
She sighed but felt some sort of comfort when it came down to it, he could relax once more, they had a LOT more to see and do at the end of the day, a desire to be oddly amusing to the end of the day.
She did not even want to say anything, knowing it was odd enough without such things getting in the way, an idea that could relax at the moment as she hummed once more as she looked downwards.
She sighed before she clicked her fingers against one another as she hummed to herself. Whatever else came next would not end anytime soon. She did not at all know, didn't understand what to say.
"We keep fighting and training," Marnie said as he hummed to himself once more, unsure of what to see and do.
"Maybe, but it isn't exactly easy to try and figure out for now, something that keeps bothering them," Marnie stated before she sighed to herself.
She knew point blank that whatever came next would continue to bother her for the moment, she looked downwards at the ground. They had a lot more to try and figure out at the moment, there was a large amount of mercy at the end of the day, something that bothered her for now.
All of it seemed only to try and figure out what to see and do next to try and do next… It was nice, truly in every single little way was it nice… All of it was going to be impossible to try and deal with possibly.
"You should know by now that whatever comes next isn't going to be easy, life never is," Hervi stated before he sighed once more as he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth.
The next few maneuvers were NOT easy to try and deal with it properly. Whatever came next would be found to be odd… VERY odd at the end of the day. Mercy was NOT fun and it became something rather amusing at the end of the day when push came down to shove as of now.
Hervi hummed to himself before he looked downwards at the ground before he hummed to himself, unsure and unable to do more than relax, knowing that it could be dealt with in ways that would need to be dealt with, they had something maddening and unmerciful for now and until the end of the line. Perhaps it would all need to fall apart but…
Hervi only paused to look at Marnie, raising an eyebrow as he sighed, utterly thrown off by her and not knowing what was coming next. It all seemed to mesh together in a fine paste that he only had the fairest inkling of madness that he could not be dealt with for now.
Yet? He had a lot of issues, but something about it all seemed to be dealt with clearly and preciously. He didn't even seem to know what was coming but he did know that it could be dealt with purely soon.
Marnie for her part simply seemed thrown off, utterly incapable of it all, unsure for now… This would not be something that could keep dealing with such ideas.
Perhaps it would need to die out eventually but he had little in the way of fear as of now and that would not change.
"You tired?" Marnie stated before she looked at the ground before she hummed. "There's a lot more to do tomorrow at the moment," Marnie stated before she sighed to herself.
Marnie seemed to try and be silent for a few seconds as she seemed to be able to try and deal with what to try and deal with for now.
She sighed to herself, rubbing at her head before she seemed to try and figure something that could be dealt with for now as she seemed to try and deal with it.
It could be odder and odder at the time as she clicked her fingers against one another, sighing and then pausing to say something.
It would keep growing more and more maddening as he sighed once again as he would be able to sigh to himself, the chaos in his mind would be all too over, perhaps it all came down to the wire for now. Yes, it would end well.
"Don't know, there are a lot of options to try and figure out… We need to get out of here." Hervi stated before he sighed and ran his hands down his face as he hummed.
Marnie would not be able to try and deal with something else as she clicked her fingers together, Morpeko seemed to try and deal with it again and again by tickling her side as she sighed, humming once again.
She watched as Hervi hummed before he looked to the side. They would need to get to the next city before she would feel silent before now.
This would be utterly something for the history books, Marnie poked him in the nose, she yawned before laying back downwards, closing her eyes against her eyelids.
She didn't know what would come when it came down to it as of now before it came down to it and he paused, utterly unsure of what was coming at the time being…
The madness within her built, and it made sure to be ended for now… An idea that made little to no sense to her… She held little of an idea that would end up coming downwards.
She looked over at Hervi who fell silent, unable to do more to try and figure something out.
Hervi seemed utterly concerned for now and then paused to look downwards at the ground. She paused to keep thinking for now and thought of what was coming.
"We're going to need to travel somewhere," Marnie stated before she paused to keep going to look downwards at the ground.
She paused to keep thinking and then paused again to keep growing for now and wished to have at least one idea when it all ended.
