This is something I wrote years ago and was supposed a remake of the third chapter, im posting it now because i actually love how this chapter came out

TAKE THIS CHAPTER AS AN EXTRA AND WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN THE 3RD Chapter, after Ciri kisses leon for the first time. ill go back to the story next chapter

Had he known before it would've felt like this, he wouldn't have had his walls so high around her to begin with.

The feeling of her, on top him, cradling him between her tights, keeping him in place as her hands pushed his wrists against the floor, not letting them move as she claimed his sore lips, was overwhelming.

Her lips were soft and needy, pushing smoothly against his own as they begged to be kissed back with pressure. Not once doubting whether or not he would kiss her back.

He delivered, of course. Not one to make the increasing need of attention from her lips any more excruciating for her.

Her lips were thin but puffy, like marshmallows but way hotter, way better, way sweeter; He was entranced as she hummed positively once his mind snapped back to reality.

She was feisty.

He pushed his tongue in, and she bit it with no warning, eliciting a groan of sharp pain from his mouth that made her eyes seem more feral, more eager and needy.s ed

She opened her mouth and let him in again, to let him know that he could explore her cavity with ease this time.

That there was no need to worry, that she wouldn't bite.

She tasted slightly like glory.

Her tongue tangled around his own the moment his presence was noticed and she hummed again, this time through the kiss, making him feel special; like he was doing something good with his life, kissing her like this.

His lungs screamed so he tried removing himself to no avail, her strength far greater than what he had expected.

She giggled as she kissed him one more time before letting go, parting ways with his lips and smiling as a trail of drool connected them both before disappearing.

Smirking with satisfaction at the sight of him blushing madly, she let go of his arms and legs before standing up abruptly, without a single sweat dropped.

Like that hadn't affected her in the slightest.

"Leon?" She mentioned his name in a singing voice and he gulped, "Is it clear to you that I'm most certainly not pranking you now?" She asked him with stern, green eyes. Almost warning him if he dared to doubt her at that very moment.

He could only gulp again and nod.

"Just wait until Geralt listens about your bow-or sees it!" The white haired Witcher exclaimed with emotion, with her hands very openly holding onto Leon's shirt as they galloped through the very beginnings of Velen, before fully enveloping his torso on a hug, "He's gonna be gobsmacked" Leon didn't seem to mind much her bubbly, affectionate attitude towards him anymore and only sighed at the whole display.

"I just wanna check on Big Sis...if she isn't there, then this whole ordeal will be pointless" He felt a sharp jab on his rib and he groaned, "Okay, okay, we met, and that's very important; but I need to search for my family before anything bad happens to them" The hand that jabbed him started comforting the sore spot before he felt his back being patted.

"Even if she's not there, it'd be wise if we asked Geralt on some leads" The girl hummed as she elaborated plans inside her mind, "Well, he is kind of my surrogate father, so I may be able to pull in some favors he owes me for helping him with...a little something" She giggled before snuggling his back softly, "But you'll owe me!" She warned jokingly.

"I don't mind owing you, but I have no money" He replied, once again letting it be known to the world that he was as penniless as one could get.

"Oh don't worry, it'll have nothing to do with money" She smiled even though he wasn't looking at her.

Somehow, she knew he was aware of her smile.

"That's not really a comforting thought" She giggled evildly and tightened her hug, "And I'm running out of oxygen here..." He faked an asphyxiated tone.

"Bare With it"

"Yes, Ma'am"

"You're awfully quiet whenever I'm riding" It was the white haired beauty's turn to lead them into the district and whilst she enjoyed galloping, she was sure taking her sweet time as she 'Let Kelpie rest and go slow' just to verbally and emotionally abuse Leon as much as she could.

She could feel the distress Leon felt as he wondered just where the hell were his hands supposed to rest, and she had to bit her lower lip every time he'd be done with holding onto the saddle and allowed himself some comfort hugging her from below the waist, never once wanting to make it feel invasive for her.

A sweet thought, if it didn't actually only make her want more.

He was soft, and cute. And after that little kissing incident, he had become a little bit more assertive around her, often playing along with her teases or actually returning any kind of affectionate move she could pull off, as long as it wasn't anything daring.

He was sweet and thoughtful, but still the right amount of brave for her heart not to ever stop missing a beat from time to time.

"That's because I don't know where to place my hands" He replied without thinking and regretted putting his problem out in the open for her to hear.

"Well you were pretty comfortable when you placed them on my hips" She commented, smirking at his lack of response, "Or you could put your arms back around my waist, like you so wish to" She laughed at his mumbled conspiracy.

"It's quite awkward, if you ask me" He said as he pondered his options and made a troubled sound with his throat as he felt the nervousness kicking in.

She was endeared.

"Why is it awkward? I almost dry humped you, back there when I threw you off Kelpie" He stammered at the term and only found his wording when she wiggled her butt a little closer to him, almost pressing herself against him.

"I'm just gonna pretend that I don't know anything about that" He coughed, embarrassed, "And it'd be awkward even if we had shagged off under the night sky, because it's me and I'm a synonymous of awkwardness" She laughed and clapped.

"Your vocabulary is quite extended" She mocked him with delight and he huffed, annoyed, "You can touch me, you know" He sighed, leaning in and making her squeal in inner delight as he enveloped her once more, his arms serving a way better purpose of keeping her quiet and comfy, "And nobody ever says 'Shagged off'" She added with a snort and he buried his face on her shoulder, sending short shivers down her spine with an ease she didn't know he had.

"Yeah well, you already know about me not being like the others, Cirilla" He commented, frowning even though he knew it was a joke and that she couldn't even see his face at that moment.

He just felt so tired.

"Hey, I'm not complaining…" She comforted him, bringing up one hand to softly caress his dark locks, "I'm just messing with you" She giggled and took her hand away from his hair, "I'll stop, you seem tired; it was supposed to be a day away, but those bandits took a lot of our daylight away from us, so we may have to camp once again" He didn't even reply, only nodded against her shoulder and buried himself deeper, squeezing her tighter and making her body relax in comfort, "And Kaer Morhen is still a few weeks away from the end of Velen, so you're gonna have to prepare yourself for a good ride with me" She winked, even if he wasn't looking.

He only groaned lazily and took a deep breath.

"At least you know where it is" He said, relieved, "If I hadn't met you, I would've had to search for Kaer Morhen and that could've taken me years" That took a laugh out of her mouth.

"Ehh, I wouldn't say years, but…" She acted thoughtful, "Well, more often than not you would've been able to encounter people that know Geralt, or Kaer Morhen all the same" She hummed, "If you got close enough, maybe even meet with another Witcher that could take you there" She smiled at the thought of meeting Leon in different circumstances, perhaps even as a guest of Kaer Morhen.

"I know, but even though I know Witchers don't go off killing civilians around the forest, I know not all of them work for free" She pouted and nodded, knowing he was right but not willing to openly admit it.

"Well, that's true, but you're not just some civilian" She tried pointing out, to which he just chuckled.

"Even with a magical bow, I'm still just a civilian, Cirilla" His eyes stared at her back, "Well, was, a civilian…"

"You're an adventurer now, and imagine what you could be!" She finished with a happy thought, eyes shining with mischievousness, "Maybe an avenger for your lost ones? Or, a silent Justice Seeker? Or-"

"Or me" He interrupted her, not quite removing his head and therefore his mouth from her shoulder, "Y'know, I could just be me" He chuckled, lifting up so his chin was resting on her shoulder, "Maybe find somewhere here in Velen, or, I don't know, somewhere around the kingdom and just start anew" He grinned when she turned to look at him, "Find something I like to do and do it for a lifetime" He scratched the back of his head after immediately removing it from her shoulder, embarrassed, "Now that's a good thought"

Mindlessly, Ciri stopped and Leon took off first from Kelpie's back as he stretched, exhaling happily at the release of muscle stress.

Ciri followed him suit as she started gaining control again.

Still shocked, she coughed to get his attention and he spun on his heels to look at her.

"Time to work, we're calling it a day" She said and he nodded, instantly searching for a clear opening to make his campsite; she helped him look, and after a satisfactory sound came out of his mouth, she helped him searching for ways to craft something cozy enough not to die out of bug exposure.

She was sure she had a mattress of wool or two inside Kelpie's back that they could use, but that was a surprise.

He finished building before she even stopped thinking about helping him.

"Wow, that was incredibly fast" She commented to which he only winked at her, showing off his bicep to her jokingly.

She purposely bit her lower lip and winked at him, effectively killing his mockery and making him blush.

"You're too weak" She said, to which he only rolled his eyes at her and told her to get a move on.

She did, going straight towards Kelpie and diving her hand deep into her bags, searching for a certain feeling.

Softness. There it is.

"I have a surprise for you" She sung, gaining his whole attention, "But you need to come closer- and, to close your eyes" He narrowed his dark orbs and stared at her curiously, making her wiggle her eyebrows playfully at him. He pondered for a second before reducing the distance between them and closing his eyes shut.

"Now what?" He asked impatiently and she giggled.

"Now this!" She yelled triumphantly and threw the huge bundle of neatly connected wool on top of him, making him drop down to his butt and let out a yelp from his mouth.

Ciri bursted off with laughter.

"What's all this?"He asked annoyed as the the mattress kept him swallowed into darkness, and since he was in the middle of it, he couldn't quite now where the end of the mattress was near.

"It's a large piece of wool some peeps gave me in exchange for taking care of a Ghoul nest near their river" She explained as she helped him out of the damned thing, "We can use it as a mattress, or even as a cover" She offered when his head popped out of the bundle of wool.

"Okay, sure, but there's only one" He looked at her in confusement, to which wshe only smirked and giggled, "Wait, Cirilla? What?" He questioned her and she just pointed at him before pointing at herself with her finger, making him understand immediately.

"Oh come on, it'll be okay" She reassured him before he completely denied her, and giggled at his troubled face, "It's nothing too bad, I swear I won't bite you" He reluctantly nodded and she almost punched the air in excitement.

"I don't mind" He made it clear to her, "I wasn't going to deny you anyway, I don't know why you interrupted me" She looked at him apologetically and he shrugged, making an effort to stand up and walk towards the small tent he had put together.

It was enough for them both.

"Oh so you had foreseen me coming up with that" She reasoned next to him and he nodded before entering in a crouch position to the handmade tent, bringing the whole mattress with him, and a candlestick, before Ciri followed inside.

It was certainly not spacy, but still enough for two who were going to sleep together.

"How come you're so good at building up tents?" She asked him as she helped putting the mattress around the grass, effectively protecting them from any bugs or spiders they may encounter.

She'd have to clean the thing later, but as she looked at Leon taking a spot and patiently waiting for her, she figured it was definitely worth it.

"It's one of my hobbies" He replied with a smile as he lit up a small candle he was holding around, "I always keep a few sheets and needles in case of a sudden need to camp; it's come to be very useful" He chuckled, "I've always loved going hunting and camping, so this is only natural to me" He explained to her before placing the candlestick next to the mattress, careful not to put it too close to anything that can be set on fire.

She nodded absently and he deemed the conversation finished as exhaustion kicked in. He yawned, took a deep breath and opened his arms, awaiting for her in an open arms position.

Her heart struggled to keep up and she could only crawl near him, feeling her chest tighten up when he found her waist and pulled her close to him, ensuring her safety by hugging her close to his chest.

He seemed serious, and even though his heartbeat was faster than Kelpie's on a good throttling session, she was sure he meant to do this as a natural action, as something that he wanted to get used to doing.

She wouldn't mind sleeping like this every single day.

His heartbeat calmed down and his eyelids fell shut, letting her know he was officially asleep.

She followed him suit, keeping up an ear out to listen to any dangers that could come near them, and another ear out to listen to her favorite song.

Leon's heartbeat.

"How come we woke up so late?" They were both on road again, this time closing off to Oxenfurt, in which she planned to stay for a whole day to sell things she didn't feel necessary anymore and to reinforce and repair her equipment.

She had planned on getting there by the end of the morning, but they apparently had overslept -so much for her overrated internal clock- and had woken up just at the end of morning sunlight; It was only until now that they had took off with Kelpie ,led by Leon, as she complained behind him about how he was too warm and comfy to let go for a second.

It wasn't really her fault they had overslept; how was she to know that her partner was an insanely good cuddle buddy? He provided more warmth than the wool itself and was comfy, so how was she supposed to not lose herself in the touch, in the care of his arms?

"You're too good for your own good" She replied and he looked at her with confusion, but she refused to explain any further.

He turned to look at the path again and laughed.

"You're acting all weird again" Now she was the one looking at him with confusement, "You were talking to yourself yesterday when we found that weird corpse, and now you blurt out nonsense, is this some kind of Witcher feature?" He mocked her and she almost felt insulted he would feel weirded out at her inspecting the corpse like any other professional would.

"Excuse me? That was me trying to search for the origins of that man's death!" She explained herself in a defensive tone, "You instead just paled away from the scene completely and said that you'd wait for me back with Kelpie" She huffed, "Scaredy cat" He frowned and turned to look at her as he let Kelpie just follow the actual road on the ground.

"I ain't no scaredy cat" He defended himself and she stuck her tongue out, "I'm just sane enough not to get a close up on a rotting corpse" She frowned and hit his back softly, earning a chuckle from him, "It's okay, I'm not saying that weird means bad, y'know? I like you weird" He blurted away before realizing and bit his tongue to quiet himself up, "Bad mouth talking without me realizing" He excused himself and laughed nervously.

She could sense the wave of embarrassment creeping up onto his cheeks so she contributed.

"Well I like you as well, damsel in distress" She giggled and sighed in relief as he started relaxing again, "Though I was sure that was loud and clear, or was it not?" She threatened and laughed at his discomfort.

"Well, yeah it was quite clear and loud" He half chuckled and stared at her bright, green eyes, "But, actually…" He leaned close, uncomfortably bending his body so he could get close to her face, "I would like some reassurance" He said, shocking her as he closed the distance

This time, it was his lips that captured hers.
