POV: Arthur Thompson

I stared in a mix of horror and logic defying amazement. Jenny, true to her word, began drinking the special extra caffeinated coffee from their special stockpile… with sugar and cream, and was chugging it by the pot. I watched her down one after another…

"That…that's not possible…" I said in horror. "That's enough caffeine to down an Elephant! How the fuck!?"

"I'm a cheeky little bitch." She chuckled, finishing her seventh full pot in as many hours.

"That's…seven pots…" I said weakly, seeing her body not only accept all that caffeine but metabolize it at such an insane rate I…didn't know how.

"Never think what can kill a normal person can kill a Ventral. It took a fully armed special task force of policemen armed with fifty caliber fully auto machine guns to take me out before I became a pod person and even then the bullets didn't kill me, the blood loss did." She smirked.

"Oh…" I muttered. "That's…that's a lot of damage…"

"Yeah… anywho, what's up with you? You've been so moody since your trip out with Mantis and Heather yesterday."

"Learning the history of this Reality, this World…it saddens me on how much suffering people still wish upon others, even more so because they can." I admitted, remembering what I was told about the Morgan Incident.

"Yeah. 'There is no greater monster than the one that could be standing right beside you.'." Jenny said, quoting someone I believe.

"I don't believe I've heard a quote like that before." I admitted.

"Yeah. Old saying back on my earth. No idea where it came from but it's fitting and basically means Monsters aren't what you should fear, it's people."

"Yes…I understand that really well…" I sighed, having defended what some would call 'monsters' from the People of the Church.

"So what's with all the mope if it's just more of the same then?"

"More of the same, and also me being home sick…seeing so much that my family back home would enjoy but…them most likely never experiencing…especially since I succumbed to my illness…"

"Fair." Jenny shrugged. "So, anything else on that brain of yours?"

"I…want to explore a bit and…hopefully put some fears to rest." I answered. "I need to know if the Church is here or not, cause even if this world has practically everything…I need to know."

"The answer is most likely yes." Jenny shrugged.

"I would rather find out than just assume so because of how this reality works." I admitted.

"Fine…" Jenny groaned as pulled an odd metallic device with a display… tablet, I think it was called, from her Assistant device. She turned it on, the display lighting up and she went through some things on it.

"What are you looking at?" I inquired, still so fascinated by all this new technology even if the Assistant's are by far the greatest feat I've ever seen.

"Carver gave us a database he compiled, he and his predecessors, have of every group he's eradicated from this zone. You said it was the Blood Church."

"Yes, the Divine Blood Church to be more precise." I answered, knowing that there might be a lot of 'Blood Churches' but the Divine one is the one I'm most interested in.

"Uh huh… and results show… four hundred and thirteen results."

"Shit…" I muttered, thinking of a better descriptor. "Um…Oh! The symbol, it would be the symbol of a drop held in the hands of the Goddess, twin tailed hair and all." I said, hoping that would help narrow it down.

"Alright… and now it's one hundred and twenty results."

I took a deep breath. "God damn it…" I grumbled. "What's the closest area?"

"Well these are already exterminated groups from this zone but there are photos." She said, showing me the photographs on the display.

I looked at the photo's…some of them looked similar but there was some differences…but…my eyes widened, as I looked at and compiled twenty pictures…they were here…that bastard was here. "No…damn it, he's here…"

"Let me guess. The man who put you through hell and such is here?"

"Somehow, and…it looks like he's been here for a while, which should be impossible given I died two years after…his marking's look old, even among the ruins…"

"Yeah… Heather and Casey said Isekai can arrive here at drastically different times. Like centuries and such distant."

I growled. "That bastard has probably gotten everything he could ask for and more with those damned Chaos Guilds…"

"Probably. The notes here say most of these are divisions of Violence or Nexus." Jenny said, motioning to a side of the display with notes of the pictures.

"Violence…a Guild made purely for Combat, weapons, bioweapons…and Nexus…the great Chaos Guild itself…" I frowned, having looked up what I could about them when I heard there was 'Chaos Guilds'..."Damn it…he's most likely finished his Legion Virus if not made it better…"

"Whatever that is, probably."

"Not something you want to experience or witness…" I said. "If they slipped in Stalker compounds, they must have also slipped in other bases…"

"True. Not likely manned though. Something tells me if they were they'd be found by Carver so… maybe automated like that Stalker one."

"Best to check anyways." I said. "Plus we can make an Outpost there if we are able to repurpose it."

"Well I can make one so I guess. Up for a road trip doc?"

"Yes I am." I nodded.

"Cool. By the way, you've ridden on a motorcycle before, right?"

"I've ridden a bike and many flight capable magical beasts so…most likely no." I admitted.

"Right well tho know a motorcycle as a bike but louder and goes faster than that semi truck Heather drove you in yesterday. Alright?"

"That makes sense, I should be able to ride it." I nodded.

"Alright, just remember it holds two and you're riding bitch." Jenny said before pulling an odd helmet that reminded me of some knights helms, only rather than metal it was what I recognized as plastic but more durable and reinforced it seems.

"Right." I said. "And safety is always important when going at high speeds."

"Good. Oh and try not to scream alright."

"I should have added throw up to that last bit…" Jenny huffed as she stopped. My helmet off and my breakfast that morning making an unappetizing return…

How did I not get motion sick In the giant truck? Simple, Jenny drives that motor bike with complete disregard for personal safety…

"Did…was your first lesson on driving that blasted thing 'Road Safety Laws prepared to be ignored'?" I managed as I coughed again.

"Family. Of. Globally. Wanted. Criminals." Jenny stated. "My first driving lesson was when I was eight and it was to keep flooring it while my dad shot explosives at the Swedish government as they were following us."

"Right…" I said carefully. "Well…I think it's out of my system…hopefully."

"Oh don't be such a baby. We were only driving on the side of that building for twenty minutes at most. And stop asking how that's possible I'm not good at math or physics."

"We would have needed to be a lot faster than what we really were though…" I grumbled.

"It was quicker than going around that demon swarm…" She huffed as she put her helmet back on and got onto her motorcycle.

"Yeah yeah…" I said, not used to such speeds as I couldn't also protect us at the same time from that demon swarm. "Let's keep going." I said, putting my helmet back on and getting back on the motorcycle.

Once I was on she 'hit the gas' as I learned the phrase was. I yelped and clung to her for dear life. While I suspect I'd easily survive a fall at her driving speeds. Maybe even a crash if my stats were any kind of accurate, I'd rather not test it. So, I clung to her in a manner rather… emasculating….

I can see why this is called 'riding bitch' now…

It was some hours later and more life threatening, physics defying drives and stunts later we made it to the closest of the locations mentioned in the tablet.

I quickly got off the motorcycle. I'd try it again… but never with Jenny… never again…

How Heather enjoys their rides out I'll never understand…

"R-right…so maybe I can just run faster than this…" I said carefully, getting off as I imagined my new godhood would make me very fast as I pulled off my helmet. "Now…this is the area…"

"Looks like." Jenny said as she got off and looked around. "Huh…"

"Do you see something?" I inquired, looking around carefully for what she saw.

"This area… it's been cleaned up." She said.

I looked around… seeing a mess.

"You say 'cleaned up' but…wait…" I frowned, seeing that this was a mess…but there wasn't any dried blood, it was clean. "I see what you mean." I frowned. "Even if it was destroyed long ago there would be bloodstains on practically everything so deep you couldn't get rid of it…but no it's clean."

"Yeah. Plus, this destruction is newish." She said, walking over to a bit of stone that looked to have been blasted apart. "This bit here. There's weathering on the now exposed inner rock but it's not a century old. Maybe less than ten." She said.

"So either that means this was weirdly recent or he just got here…" I frowned, deciding to look through the entire area and trying to study this area, looking over everything I could that could give me a good idea as to what happened. "Let's hope that Title's ability helps with studying this." I thought to myself carefully.

I went over all the rubble and the way the area was nothing much I could-

"Found something!" Jenny called out.

"What did you find?" I inquired, looking over to see what she found.

She motioned to… a small, thin water drain. It was more like what you'd find inside a bathroom or sink that the middle of the street. "Smell that?" She asked as she hovered over it a bit.

I leaned in and smelled a familiar metallic scent. Blood.

"That smells like Blood." I said, raising a hand to try and collect some of it to use Blood Memory.

I felt the blood down there. It was fresh and… resisting?

"There's something down there, it's fresh blood and it's resisting my pull." I said carefully.

'Can I shoot it?"

"That depends on what's causing this…" I hummed, trying to pull it up again as I fought against its resistance. "You shall obey." I said, claiming my Blood King Title for full effect against its resistance.

I felt it pull up, only to be pulled back away from me.

[Rival Title Detected: Blood Devil Title Detected Nearby!]

"Blood Devil you say?" I hummed. "Well…what is a Devil…" I started. "To a God." I growled, deciding to redirect the flow from a Pull, to a Push in an attempt to find my sudden Rival.

I felt the Rival tug and pull unti-

I fell back as Jenny kicked me away, the blood shooting up from the pipe and ground in pointed spikes that shot up even through the concrete. She backed away in time to dodge the attack herself.

"You have… little battle senses do you?" She asked me.

"I'm a Doctor, not a Warrior." I said, getting up quickly. "And the last real fight I was in was when I was practically on my deathbed having to fight a god possession with pure Magic." I explained carefully. "Now, show yourself!"

The blood moved and flowed out from the drain and the cracks in the ground and formed what looked to be a being made entirely of blood.

"A Blood Elemental hmm?" Arthur hummed. "This is probably something you can shoot, as long as you can destabilize it's form I could start siphoning off more of it's body and control it." I explained carefully.

"Or I can freeze it." Jenny said, pulling out her handguns and shooting at the thing. The bullets impacting and freezing the creature into a solid block of red and white ice.

I frowned. "That's also true." I admitted, raising my hand and trying to see if I can bend the new bloody icicle to my will now, for this was a weakened construct so it should work to my favor.

The ice shook and cracked. It was still resisting and doing so violently. Damn. What are you?

I decided to use my new Scan ability on this thing, as Heather told me it's a go to on understanding things if you don't have the time.

[Scan Complete!

Name: N/A

Species: Moon Elf

Age: 7

Abnormal Mutations Detected!]

My eyes widened. "A…child…" I said slowly, shuddering as…horrid memories returned. "No…" I shook my head. "We need to find out if this is the actions of a scared child…a BOW…or if someone is controlling them." I said carefully.

"What did the scan say exactly?" Jenny asked me.

"I want to say the Blood Elemental here, but it could also be who I'm fighting control over, cause it scanned a Seven Year old Moon Elf has abnormal mutations." I answered.

"Yeah that doesn't look like a Moon Elf so…" Jenny hissed. "Looks like your church is making weapons out of children. Sounds like they're working with Violence. Nanny did say that they take the children born from Lust Brothels and use them for their experiments…"

I…knew I shouldn't be surprised with what I've seen…but people keep pushing my limits. "They just…grab any infants they can from Brothels and turn them into monsters?"

"That's what Nanny said. Females usually get turned into more Breeders, basically either through Code, some kinds of force or energy that is the foundation of this reality, that erases who you are and makes you an obedient sex slave, or they force the infants to age into adulthood and then apply the brainwashing. Males, Violence takes to turn into their living weapons." Jenny sighed.

I looked at Jenny…then at the child…I used my Blood magic to…see if I could talk to them. "Hello?" I mentally asked, hoping they weren't a mindless beast.

"Telepathic Threat Detected. Initiating counter-" The voice inside said, before I was struck with a migraine that felt like my head split in two from the inside out.

"Alright…" I muttered, taking a deep breath and getting myself under control as I got a look of determination. "This child has mutations and has been corrupted by Violence and the Blood Church, and I will save this child." I said, using Scan again to see what Mutation's happened besides the obvious 'he's a blood monster' now, as I pulled out my medical bag from my Assistant.

This disease… it's familiar… but much more advanced than what I dealt with before. Not just that, there's a few others that seem to be keeping the body in this mutated, liquid state of complete and total blood. This will take time to undo… Then… if they have been like this from birth, from what they did to them… that's a seven year old with the mind of a newborn, literally… there must be a way to reverse their age back to infancy when they are cured so they can truly live their life out as they should have.

"Jenny, do you know a way to reverse someone's age?" I inquired, looking over the child more. "They've advanced so much with so many other mutations I haven't seen before…" I muttered, writing down my findings on a notepad.

"Hmm… I think I remember hearing Heather mention something that did that… one of those Keyblade things." She said.

"Right…" I said, calling Heather real quick to get some answers.

"Heather speaking." The shark women said.

"Hello Heather, I need to ask you something."

"Shoot."

"What kind of weapon, or 'Keyblade' as Jenny said, that could reverse someone's age to that of a Newborn?" I inquired.

"Oh, that would be Second Chance, it's a special Keyblade that, if dealing the finishing blow, turns the felled being into an infant of their race. Why do you ask?"

"Because I have a seven year old bioweapon that Violence and the Church created here…and by the looks of the Virus and mutations in him it's been practically since birth."

"Yeah…that would make sense." Heather said nervously. "Well good news, Second Chance can actually appear in Drops around the place, it's rare but if you also find any of those special Item Doors you might find it."

"Do you have it?"

"Sadly no, that's one of the swords I'm still hunting for. But maybe Carver has it? Who knows what nonsense the Slayer's guide just gives their members."

"Right…so I might have to get in contact with him for the help." I frowned, thinking about how to get into contact with him since he's probably really busy keeping this section under his protection.

"Yeah Carver?" I spun around fast, seeing Jenny on some new device talking into it. "Yeah mind coming here? Yeah location from where I'm calling. Alright, see you in a few." She said, pushing a button on the machine and looking at me. "What? You wanted to talk to him."

"Uh…right, and what's that device?" I inquired, not believing I've seen something like that before.

"Slayer's Guild Communicator. Carver gave it to me with an offer to join them but I refused."

"That's interesting, and I presume you chose not to since it would mean you would leave your family for a…rather extended period of time?" I inquired.

"Well that and I'd rather not look like a hulking muscle bitch. Heather might pull it off and wants to look like a bodybuilder but I prefer my breasts and ass being my biggest muscles." She shrugged.

"I can…easily see that." I said, my mind wandering to the argument's between Indra and Lisandra, the Lioness wanting the special Gaea Cow to 'bulk up', but Lisandra's tribe believed being 'bountiful' is what Mother Earth wanted…didn't help her natural Earth affinity gave her increased strength and…bigger gifts…

"Oi, Doc, stop daydreaming about your wives." Jenny snapped her fingers as I snapped out of it and blushed brightly.

"I am…so sorry." I admitted sheepishly.

"Should find you a lovers class so you can enjoy something other than your work in your lab and such." Jenny chuckled.

"I am a man of Science!" I defended myself.

"Yes, the Science of Ass and Titties." Jenny said, laughing as I blushed even brighter.

"Shush you!" I whined.

After Jenny had her laugh, Carver arrived… having apparently launched himself via a supercharged jump and landed in a new crater half a mile from us.

"So, you want the Second Chance Keyblade?" He asked.

"Yes, I do need it for this child here." I said, motioning to the child still encased in ice. "I will need time to cure them though but I will still need it."

"Huh. Alright." He said, sorting through his Assistant. He handed me a small box with a button on it, and then in a flash of light a strange sword appeared in his hand. the tip had a small nest where a bird was looking over some eggs, one that was hatched. The grip and guard were the roots, and the Keychain was a small… Phoenix? "Here it is. Second Chance. I found this thing when I slayed an Orphan Eater Demon last year. And yes, the name is accurate." He said as he gave it to me.

I nodded, gently grabbing the weapon and looking it over in fascination. "This is…such a strange blade, though I do notice the 'key' motif." I said, lightly poking the 'key' like blade at the top. "I will have to look into this later…but right now, I just have to deal the finishing blow like Heather said, right?" I inquired.

"Yeah, but you should probably cure them first cause otherwise you got a baby blood monster." Jenny said.

"Yes, that would be for the best." I nodded.

"Here." Carver said, handing me what looked like… some strange camera.

"And what kind of camera is this?" I inquired.

"It's called a Capture Camera. It's a special device that, thanks to some curse magic, can capture and contain monsters and people."

"Better than having to write out all the capture magic yourself." I admitted.

"That's one way it's done. This was a gift from my Melee instructor in the Slayers, Indra."

I stopped for a second, before looking at Carver slowly. "Did…you just say 'Indra'?" I asked, seeing him nod. "Tall, buff Lioness lady, loves her twin tonfa like they were her babies? Complains about not having enough coffee for her morning runs?"

"Hm. I think she mentioned a Tonfa once but she said she died way before she arrived in this reality. And yeah she chugs more coffee than water." Carver said.

"That…that sounds like her alright." I sighed. "Seriously, her Coffee addiction is staggering sometimes…" I shook my head. "But she is a tall Lioness right? Did she ever mention something about a 'Doctor' or complained about a Gaea Cow?" I asked.

"Hmm… I remember she mentioned a pride head she loved dearly before coming here. Something about helped him obtain a large harem to demonstrate his dominance across their world and his importance or something like that." He shrugged. "She talked a lot when she was drunk."

Jenny chuckled.

"I thought she quit being an Alcoholic…" I groaned. "Ugh…I still have some of those drunken scratch marks…and yes she was…very into me having a Pride and 'displaying dominance'...oh boy…"

"Wait, that was you?" Carver asked, looking me over. "Well… she over exaggerated some things…"

"I'm in my mid fifties and am still semi-recovering from a life ending illness, eat me." I frowned. "But where's Indra? I…I never thought someone from my world would also be here…" I said, thinking about the…final battle…

"She's a teacher in the Slayers Dormitory. At least for the last thousand years or so. For a thousand years before that she kept watch over Sector 53."

"And how soon can we get there?" I asked. "Or the other way around cause I'm pretty sure she'd be a lot faster than whatever we could accomplish."

"I'll send her a quick message…" Carver said, taking out a similar communicator to the one Jenny has. "And a photo." He added, I saw him point it towards me, a click was heard before he brought the device down some. "And sent. So knowing her… three, two… one…"

There was the sound of a loud boom from… somewhere… then an explosion nearby that sent the ground up into the sky.

Stomping up from the creator was a nine foot tall Slayer in full body armor, covering their head, feet and even tail that whipped around with a glowing tip blade of energy.

I swallowed.

The towering future then took their helmet off… Her face looked like the day I met her. A yellowish-gold fur with green eyes and her sandy brown hair was cut short, almost shaven.

"A-Arthur…?"

"I-Indra?" I stuttered, reaching up shakily like she was just some mirage, a mimic…a ghost of another life…but even with her sudden almost three foot height gain I was still able to touch her cheek…still as warm and soft as I remembered. "I-It's you…" I felt tears well in my eyes as I couldn't believe it…she's truly here.

"Arthur!" She said, hugging me-

CRACK!

"Lady you broke him before you even got to the bedroom!" Jenny yelped.

"Oh I'm so sorry Arthur!" Indra yelped.

My legs don't work so good anymore…

"D-don't worry…new god biology will hopefully heal it…" I said weakly…my poor back…"It's…it's good to see you to Indra…just uh…please tone back the strength, I may be a god now but I'm still recovering from my illness." I said weakly, as when I heard I was well over two thousand years old biologically from Mantis I did some research on myself and learned that my body wasn't at a hundred percent yet.

"Oh! That reminds me I have a gift for you right here!" She said, pulling out a… rather large syringe from her Assistant that seemed to glow with a goldish-red aura.

"Honey…remember the last time you offered me a syringe full of something I didn't know about?" I deadpanned, making the strong lioness flush with embarrassment.

"I said I was sorry!" Indra whined.

"So what's in it before we start using the syringe?" I asked, smiling as I had double confirmation that this was my Indra.

"Oh it's a mixture of Cosmic Essence, Divine Grace, Wise Man's Thoughts and the soul of a Primal God." She said.

… how in the what in the what?!

"Okay, I need you to take like…five steps back, how did you get any of those materials, how did you get a Primal God's soul, and are you sure you didn't accidentally add in some of 'Danatha's Secret Stash'?" I asked.

"Will you please get over that?" She asked sheepishly.

"No, cause it makes you look sheepish and you look adorable when you get sheepish." I chuckled. "But back to the important talks…how?"

"It's actually a cocktail drug the Slayers use all the time." Carver spoke up. "We use it to boost immune systems should any of us catch an illness. It's rare given our disease resistances are so high but can happen from time to time."

"It also gives me zoomies!" Indra added.

"A feeling of an adrenaline rush is common." Carver nodded.

"And I know Indra just loves her zoomies." I chuckled, giving Indra some headpats which she accepted happily. "So…it boosts my Immune system and gives me an adrenaline rush…"

"Well, for Slayers it gives an adrenaline rush. For you I imagine it would feel like your perception of others around you has slowed to a crawl as the serum boosts your body's self healing and white blood cells and all that stuff by basically giving them enough of a kick to nuke whatever the fuck you're sick with or getting sick with."

"Well, from what I learned after being told I'm somehow two thousand years older than I should, it was a combination of my Magic and a magical mutated strain of Hemochromatosis that damaged my body so much." I explained. "But if this were to happen…then either I'll be at full power but still look like this, or somehow I'll 'de-age' as my body as it finally caught up with everything in this new world…" I hummed, scratching my chin as I thought how this would all work if I had such an absolute ton of healing and regeneration thrown at me all at once.

"Maybe. One way to find out." Carver said.

Indra gently put the needle into my skin and-

"Well… you look younger…" Indra said.

"I still can't remember the last two days…" I said.

"It was… eventful…"

"So…I'm younger…" I looked at my hands which seemed a lot fuller than before and clenched my fists. "I feel more powerful, and…I feel overall fantastic…but seriously, the hell did I do the past two days?"

"...Well, me for ten hours…" Indra said, blushing.

"...Right…I shouldn't be surprised given there's so many differences plus back home…" I blushed at that as well. "And…what else did I do besides you?"

"Well, don't know personally. After you were injected your eyes got all wide and you instantly started to look younger than you… picked me up, ran all the way back to your little home in this settlement then well… heh. Two thousand years without your touch or sex of any kind, ten hours after that long wiped me out and I was asleep until you dropped in the bed last night."

Oh joy… gods above what did I do after that and in town?! I know I still had my clothes on when I did wake up so… hopefully I wasn't nude…

"Right…" I said carefully. "I'm going to have to go around and ask what's been going on…but first…I know I was told that Isekai appear in random times but…two thousand years…" I felt my shoulder's slump.

"Imagine my surprise." Indra said. "You… disappeared and… we were all devastated…" She sighed.

"I…I remember I was succumbing to my illness, lying on my deathbed surrounded by friends and family…"

"You were. You were lying there just… dying and the next thing any of us knew there was this flash of green over your body and… you were gone."

I blinked. "Why would Code be in our world?"

"I don't know. But after that day we spent a decade looking all over the planet for you." She said.

"And…I was here, being this colony's Doctor…but what happened to you to get here? And is there anyone else besides…" I trailed off, not wanting to utter his name but leaving it up in the air.

"Not that I know of… some… died traveling while we searched for you. Age or foreign sicknesses. In the end we made a new town. The kids grew up. Found love. You're a grandfather." She smiled. "I was sitting by a river, remembering the old days before and… then I woke up in a Slayer Facility. Apparently one found me unconscious outside in their protected zone."

"Sounds like all our hard work paid off…a world at peace our children and grandchildren can live in." I sighed with a smile. "But…that is strange, you were probably teleported here the same way as me…who could have done this?"

"No idea. I spent a long time asking questions and wondering that myself. In the end, the Slayers gave me a new home and I learned a lot while I've been here with them."

"Yes, my spine remembers it fondly." I chuckled.

"Heh…" She smiled. "I've been wanting something like this to happen for so long… now that it has, it feels like a dream."

"Yeah…I…I still can't believe you're here Indra…it's a miracle."

"It really is."

I nodded. "So…how has it been being an important Slayer?"

"Well, I was old when they found me but that changed quick. I regained the body of my youth, like when we met, and they had me enter the training. As a warrior… I found it thrilling. I learned things about my strength that I never knew before and in this world that strength just grew and grew. Once I was done with training, using their various swords, combat styles, their guns and explosives, I became a fully recognized Slayer and after the special Infusion process that made my body what it is, I was assigned a zone and protected it from both the Demons that spawned and the Chaos Guilds. The endless combat was a good distraction but over time, even when slaughtering armies of the demons it did not keep my thoughts at bay… I missed you, my sister… our children. Before I even realized I lived a thousand years in this world and wondered if they were even alive back home… I requested a transfer and attended therapy for a while. I was then made an instructor and I found that helped. Felt like back home when I taught the kids how to fight."

"I've only been here two months, I've been so preoccupied with everything from learning about our new Biology, to learning it's history…to just me learning I suppose." I chuckled. "Old habits die hard I suppose, there's so much to discover, learn and work on…it's only in the brief moments when I'm eating with Heather and her Family that…I realized how much I missed all of you…"

"I understand that all too well." She nodded.

"Second time I've become 'Isekai'd' as they say…I better not jump a third time and find out there's even more nonsense out there." I chuckled.

"I hope not." Indra said, taking my arm and pulling me against her. "I don't plan on you being out of my sight ever again…"

I hugged my big tough lioness. "I know my love…but we both have work to do and I doubt you can just ignore the trainees for long." I admitted.

"I've earned more than enough pull in the Slayers to gain some personal favors from the commanders. Besides I can't very well train them while pregnant now can I?"

"Well…that's what ten hours straight will do…" I replied sheepishly.

"Yes." She chuckled, giving me a hug. "And on the off chance I'm not well… I have more of those injections to… try again~"

"Two thousand years must have made you insatiable." I chuckled, hugging her a bit tighter. "But while I would absolutely love to stay here and cuddle till the end of time I have to figure out what I did in a more or less drunken adrenaline rush…"

"Very well. I'll stay here… I still can't feel my legs." She said with a laugh.

"I'm surprised I can feel my own body if that's the case." I admitted. "Just…your new size and bulk should have made my pelvis non-existent here."

"That injection really agrees with you~" She teased as she gave me a kiss. "Plus it's a very strong regenerative serum so, anything you might have pulled or broke more than likely healed instantly."

"That's fair." I nodded, giving her a quick kiss as I got up. "Only thing I'm glad about is that after everything I was still clothed."

I gave her another quick kiss before heading outside.

The town looked alright at least, that's good. So far no one is saying anything… who could I ask?

I sighed, heading off to find Nanny cause knowing her she was probably acting like my babysitter as I was so hopped up on drugs and a literal God's Soul that she was the only one that could keep up.

I found Nanny in the nursery, changing the infants and tending to their needs.

"No, I didn't follow you around the last two days." Nanny said as she was burping one of the infants.

"Do you know what I did the last two days?" I asked, knowing I was about as readable as an open book with that first one but still.

"I think you were at the bar for a while, but other than that I think Mantis was following you around."

"Thank you…and uh…did I do anything weird while I was unconscious?"

"Again, I wouldn't know cause I didn't follow you or see you much the last two days." Nanny stated.

I sighed. "Alright, thank you Nanny, where would Mantis be now if I may ask?"

"I think he's in Hex's room. Since Hex reminds him of someone he knew before, he spends a lot of time with him."

I nodded. "Alright, thank you. Have a nice day Nanny." I said, turning around and heading off to find Mantis.

It wasn't hard to find the young Hex's room since all the children had their names upon the doors. I knocked, and was greeted by the fluffy dark blue dire wolf child. He was eleven I believe, and had a light sky blue shade of eyes.

"Hey." He said, looking up at me.

"Hello Hex, have you seen Mantis anywhere?" I inquired.

"Yeah. He's in here." Hex said before turning back to look into his room. "Mantis- hey where did you go?"

"I'm here." Hex and I jumped as Mantis had suddenly, somehow appeared between us. "Hello Arthur."

"How…did you do that?" I asked, knowing my senses should have picked him up now that they were back at full strength.

"Part of my Stalker Abilities. In the early years after the Nokori were being recaptured after they were freed, we managed to capture one that has the abilities to basically turn invisible so long as there is a crowd of two or more people. They don't actually turn invisible though. It's more like emitting an aura that tricks the eyes to overlook you. This was extracted from them upon their recapture and implanted into the Stalkers."

"That is rather interesting." I hummed. "But that's besides the point, I want to know if you followed me while I was…'busy' for the past two days."

"Yes. I noticed your vitals were abnormal and was recording the data for personal interest."

"What did I do over those two days?" I asked carefully.

"Well, shortly after leaving your domicile drenched in sweat and what my scans told me were… other biological fluids, you went to the bar where you then ate nine plates of chicken wings, five hamburgers, seven plates of fries, two pork legs, a whole plate of crab legs, and half of what the bar calls a Pinkie Demon Surprise, before drinking roughly twenty seven gallons of liqueurs, sodas, and fruit juice."

I blinked.

"Okay…I know my new biology would help me ignore…most of that…but that would probably also help with all the energy both from my…escapades and my healing…" I hummed, scratching my chin in thought. "Well, I doubt that took two days."

"It took several hours. I also noted your metabolism was accelerated to almost two hundred thousand percent above the normal and your heartbeat was beating at a rate of ninety two thousand beats per second."

… What the hell… okay I know what is in that injection but still…

"That's…that is extremely, unhealthily fast…" I said carefully.

"Agreed. After that you spent the rest of the night until morning running around the mountain's base. After that you ran out to one of the Outposts through a portal where you then entered a level one dungeon it led to. Thirty minutes later you ran out, apparently having cleared it.

I blinked. "It…took me thirty minutes to beat a dungeon?" I asked in mild surprise, considering how much I would have been invested in researching and looking around the area I would have expected to take longer.

"Yeah. After that you ran around killing demons and collecting samples. Organs, blood, skin, and after a while of that you found a library where you spent ten hours reading every book still there and putting them into your Assistant when you finished. After that you went back to your domicile and didn't come back out until today."

Right… must have finally passed out…

"Right…that missing time was when I most likely passed out after my body decided to rest after everything I did." I admitted.

"Most likely." Mantis nodded. "Was that all?"

"Yes, that thankfully explains everything I did over the past two days…I have a lot to catch up on whatever I did…" I said carefully.

"Alright then." Mantis said as he turned around and walked back into Hex's room.

"... Well, by then." Hex said as he closed the door.

I nodded and turned around and headed off back to my room, cause I had a lot of studying to do…plus I have to check on everything that I got from that dungeon…
