Here's another idea for you characters telling stories mini series DP994 and it's quite an interesting one as it features three monsters that appear in the 2019 film Godzilla King Of The Monsters.
It begins with Baxton talking to Sherri Terri and Jerri and Morgana ( who is also babysitting the three fox kits ) about a movie he and Morgana saw last night it had all these weird scary creatures such as this one they hold up a picture of a monster from the movie called the Behemoth a giant sloth like monster with mammoth tusks Sherri asks what is that thing a sloth mammoth? Baxton then holds up another picture of a monster called Scylla a giant spider like creature with a Cthulhu like face Terri asks is that a Cthulhu spider? Baxton holds up one more picture of a monster called Methuselah a giant rock monster with a reptilian face possessing horns like a bull Jerri asks what is... I don't know what that thing is Baxton and Morgana then tell the story of three over three hundred feet tall monsters who attacked Show Town.
The story starts with Sticks The Badger casually fishing at a river bank she turns around and sees some tourists taking photos of each other when suddenly the ground shakes and the monster Methuselah breaks out of the ground and roars scaring the tourists ( one of them dives into the river to escape ) Sticks around and sees Methuselah and runs away screaming don't crush me don't crush me in the town center Baxton Hugo and Morgana are talking to each other Sticks then comes running over to telling that something is coming this way more people including Dolly Dalmatian Rebel Friend Heddily Diddly Dee ( who screams mummy ) and Zoe Trent run by and the three see Methuselah who stares at them Hugo says runs for it the three then begin running Methuselah roars and begins chasing them after hiding from Methuselah Morgana points out something in the distance they take a look and see another monster being Behemoth using its giant tusks to demolish buildings Henry Stickmin tries to stop it by throwing a wrench at its face but instead it growls angrily at Henry causing him to say oh my and run off Hugo says how many monsters are there?
Morgana spots another monster Scylla trying to step on people with its spider legs Hugo says that's three what do we do? Baxton says don't worry I've got a backup plan he grabs Morgana and Hugo and somehow begins flying like a bee the three monsters chase the flying Baxton eventually Behemoth knocks him down with its tusks sending the three crashing onto the ground the three monsters corner Hugo Morgana and Baxton Morgana and Hugo tearfully pleads them not kill them Baxton then speaks up and says to the three monsters you shouldn't come to our town it's a dangerous place it allows monsters who um need more strength some just come back later Behemoth Scylla and Methuselah look at each other and leave the town amazing Hugo and Morgana.
Back in reality Terri says that was a great story did the monsters ever return? Baxton says yes but I kept lying until they gave up and when to attack another city instead Sherri says well at least they never came back in the end Morgana and Baxton then tuck the fox kits into bed before leaving.
