Hello again! I hope everyone is still enjoying my story. I know I'm a bit slow on releasing new chapters but I try to write when I want to or I get writers block and never want to finish the story.

I will try to do a bit better on getting these out faster!!

Chapter 7

Edwards POV July

Leaving Bella was getting hard each time I had to say goodbye to her. Especially after what she went through yesterday. I could kill that James fucker with my bare hands.

How a man could ever do that is beyond me. Well he's not a man, he's a boy. A boy who hurt the woman I am quickly falling in love with.

And Masen. God I love that kid already. He's a part of Bella and that just makes our relationship even stronger. Mase is so smart and funny. Has such a kind heart. Just like his mother. He has no idea how much he has already been though at such a young age. But Bella has handled it exceptionally well.

She is just so strong and she seems to think that I deserve better then her. But when will she see that I don't deserve her. Everyone that is around Bella is blessed with her pure heart. Life has thrown things at her over and over, but she doesn't not let it keep her down.

I wish I could help her more with the whole James situation, but I just don't know how to help her. I mean I can deal with any legal issues that might arise. But that's it, I feel so useless not being able to help her the way I want too. I will be there for her anyway that I can.

I need to get out of those thoughts. Tonight I had my date with my beautiful Bella. And I planned to wine and dine her. I've already made reservations at one of my favorite Greek restaurants and I wanted to take her to a show or a movie but there is nothing good playing tonight. I did see a few shows that I think Masen might enjoy, but that's for another day.

I honestly was nervous if Bella would like what I am planning. I want her to have fun and enjoy herself, maybe let lose a little. I know she will be a little sad, as Masen will not come with us. I am to if I'm honest. I would have been happy to take the little man with us. But me and Bella need to get together each other without Masen. I will take them on a family date soon.

My head was so full, I didn't even realize that my hair was doing being cut. "Thanks Peter. It looks great as always" Pete shook the hair off the wrap and pushed the chair down. I walked over to the front desk and paid, leaving a good size tip for Peter. He's been a friend of my for years and no one does my hair better then him.

With one thing checked off my phone to do list, I headed off to my next appointment with a client and his grandmother. It is a bit weird that all of my clients are under 18, but I've heard that they are easier to deal with then the adults. So I can't complain.

I've only got a few work things to do and then I'm wanting to check and see what shows or movies might be going tonight, but I haven't seen anything good so far, I was not going to give up just yet. I honestly didn't even know what type of shows Bella would enjoy. I was going to need to fix that.

"Good afternoon Mr Cullen" The receptionist purred out. I couldn't stand the new bimbo that Mr Volturi had hired. Apparently her name was Lauren and she's a Yale graduate and had big potential for our company. But I think she's just wanting to get into the pants on the men that was working here.

"Miss, Mallory" I said, nodding my head in her direction and headed to the elevator, not giving her the time of day.

My office was on the 11th floor, so it takes awhile to actually get up there. Not to mention all the stops along the way for other folks to get on. I was going to be late for my meeting if this didn't hurry up. I knew I should have taken the damn stairs.

"Finally!" I gasped and speed walked to my office real fast and grabbed my paper work, before going over to the conference room. My clients were already sitting there waiting on me. "Good afternoon, Mrs Newton. I am so sorry that I was late" Mrs Newton was the grandmother of my client. Her son was a dead beat and in and out of jail so much that his daughter was taken from his care.

Samantha Wells Newton, was my client that I was responsible for. She was just barely five years old and has lost her mother due to a car crash and the man who should have been there for her, has just abandon her.

"Don't worry, Mr Cullen and please like I have told you again and again. Call me Karen" I gave her a smile and shook her hand. "Will do, Karen" I moved down to my knee by Samantha chair and held my hand out to her. "Hello, Miss Wells" Samantha mother was quite known in the town of forks her name was Edythe Wells and from what I could tell, she took very good care of her daughter without any help from Mr Newton.

She passed away almost a year ago from a very bad car crash. Samantha was in the car with her mother and thankfully came out with only a broken arm and some cuts and bruises. Now she has a broken heart and her father is not helping her heal. Instead pawns her off to his mother. Coward.

"Hello, Edward" she said quietly keeping her eyes on her hands in front of her. "Still shy as ever, I see" I said to Mrs Newton who shrugged. "She has gotten a bit better, now that she is in school" I moved to sit down and laid my file out on the table. "How has that been going?"

"Well" Mrs Newton sighed. "It's going as good as it can be I guess. Sammy is having a hard time being away from me though the day. But her teachers said yesterday that she did better then ever" I couldn't imagine what it is like to go through life without your mom.

"That's completely okay, Samantha. You just go at your pace and that ok, sweetheart" Sam gave me a small smile and looked to her grandmother who kissed her cheek. "I don't want to take up your whole Friday, so I'm going to cut to the chase" I handed Mrs Newton the court schedule.

"Mr, Newton will be getting released from prison next week and from what I can tell, should be going into court appointed rehab for two weeks. After that we will meet in court once again to reevaluate Miss Wells welfare and the judge will read though the lawyers opinions and decide what will happen from there" Mr Newton had no want to be in his daughters life and I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't even show up to this court date.

"Thank you. We will be ready. Will Samantha need to be there?" I nodded. "Yes ma'am. She is required to show on the day" Karen looked nervous and a little sad that Miss wells will have to go and witness this, but it's a must this time. "I'm sorry Karen, I know this is not what you wanted to hear, today" She waved me off, always trying to keep a strong face for Samantha.

"Please don't apologize, Mr Cullen. It is not your fault at all. It is my sons" Her eyes gave away how tried she was of all this and was battling with her heart. Wanting to love and protect her son, but knowing that her granddaughter needed her more then he did now.

"You ladies be safe today and I will see you in August" I shook both of their hands and watched them walk out to the elevator and walked back to my office to finish up the rest of my work for today.

Everything was ready and all I needed was my girl. I was dressed in my nicest attire that wasn't my court clothes. I was wearing black slacks and a navy shirt. Alice laid it all out for me, so I guess this is kind of a peek into what Bella will be wearing.

The restaurant was ready and waiting for us. I had looked and called everywhere, but there was only kiddy stuff playing this weekend and I remembered that one. Maybe I could get Bella to let me take them on a family date.

I could already heard Masen before I even knocked on the door and from what I could tell Jasper was in there with him. I rang the bell and waited, feeling like an anxious teenage boy for his first date.

Jasper swung the door open, holding Masen upside down holding onto his legs. "Oh Edward. You're early man" I shrugged, moving to step inside. "I know I wanted to hang with Mase for a minute, but he seems rather busy at the moment" Masen laughed, reaching his chubby hands out to me.

"Help, Eddie" I laughed, sticking my arms out like Superman to go and save him. "I got him!!" I cried tossing Mase up in the air a few times, before settling him on my hip. "Tank you Eddie!" Masen gave me a kiss on my cheek and wrapped one arm around my neck.

"Where is Bella?" Jasper pointed to the bedroom and I followed the smell of hairspray to Bella's room. Bella's back was to me, but she already looked gorgeous. The dress she was wearing hugged each and every curve and somehow made her ass look even better.

"Wow" I breathed, not able to keep silent any longer. Bella turned around finally letting me see her beautiful face. Alice had put quite a bit of makeup on her, which looked great but I loved her with no makeup on.

Bella and I walked out hand and hand after we told Masen goodbye. Bella was quite for awhile and I let her be. I knew she was feeling guilty for leaving Masen and I definitely felt bad, after seeing his face so sad.

Bella was much better when we got to the restaurant and we talked about anything and everything while we ate amazing food. We walked along the lakefront, sharing small kisses here and there. It was hands down the best first date I had ever been on. Honestly it was the best date I had ever been on. I was completely in love with this beautiful woman in front of me.

I knew she wasn't ready for that yet and I completely respected that, so I kissed her passionately just to try and show her how I was feeling in that moment. Her and Masen have quickly become my everything in just a matter of a few weeks.

"You want to come in?" Bella asked me, as she unlocked the front door. "Yes please" Alice and Jasper were standing by the kitchen sink their arms wrapped around each other when we walked inside. "Hello, love birds!" Alice said with a smile. "Same to you two" I told them with a laugh.

"How was masey" Bella asked and I could tell she was wanting to go and check up on him. "Oh he was so much fun! He ate so much it was kind of concerning" Alice and Jasper looked at each other and laughed, their eyes having that dreamy look. "Jasper wore him out and he barely got though his bed time story, before he passed out" Bella smiled. Her hand messing with the necklace around her neck.

"Thank you so much. I'm so glad he was good for you guys" Alice and Jasper left us alone and Bella excused herself to her bedroom to change. I watched Bella go into Masen's room, before she went into hers to change out of that sexy ass dress.

I'm not going to lie, I was hoping she would want to hangout after our date, so I had stashed some comfy clothes in the trunk of my car.

I was already sitting on the couch when Bella came back. She had put on these short shorts and a tank top. They were pink and satin.

"Hey baby" I moved to stand, wrapping her in my arms and kissing the hell out of her. "Is the movie Masterminds ok?" We sit and cuddled for quite some time, but my mind was clouded by my beautiful girl next to me.

Bella was leaned up against me so I moved her hair to the side placing kisses along her slender neck. She sighed and pushed me back some and straddle my waist wounding her arms around my neck, holding onto the hair at the nape of my neck that she seemed to love so much.

"Thank you for my date Edward. I loved it" And with that she kissed me hard. Her tongue traced my lips asking for entry and I gladly granted that wish and wrapped my tongue with hers.

My hands went down her shoulders and down her sides to her and to her bottom and pushed her closer to where my body needed her. After a second Bella pulled away to breathe and I took the chance to move my lips back to her neck.

She just tasted to sweet here and I found myself sucking on her neck to get more of this sweetness. Bella seemed to like that as she ground her hips into me and let out a small moan. Bella's hips started rocking, trying to find friction to soothe the ache she was feeling. "That's it baby" I groaned keeping my hands on her hips.

Small beads of sweat started to appear on Bella's forehead as she rocked faster chasing her release. "Oh Edward!" She cried, her eyes squeezed shut and her mouth formed a cute "O" as she used my body to please herself.

I was so distracted by Bella I didn't even care about finding my own orgasm. Bella slumped against me, her breath against my neck as she tried to calm herself. "What was that?" Me and Bella have been dating for three weeks now and we still haven't told a lot of people we are date just yet. We have been enjoying one another and hang out getting know each other better. Alice of course knows because she lives here and we can't really hide that. Alice was excited and happy that Bella was dating her brother. We also told Masen. Well we explained it the best we could to an almost three year old and he seemed excited for the most part. which I was happy about.

I knew it was easier on Bella seeing him happy. We both always try to put him first, like this Saturday Bella and I are going to take him on a date with us for the first time. we are going to the zoo and Masen is very excited to see if the Seattle zoo is as good as the zoo in Phoenix.

Today Bella needed work late for parents teacher meetings, so Alice had was said she was going to be able to pick him up. But then she left work due to the stomach flu. Jasper works till 6:30 every night. Bella was not going to ask my mom to pick Masen up, seeing as this was her day off of watching Masen. So I offered to go pick up the little man and spend some time with him.

I drove by Bella's place and grabbed his car seat from Alice's car and a snack. It took me a few tries but I got the seat strapped into the back seat. It was odd to see a car seat back here, but I liked it. I needed to get one of these to stay in my car, so Bella didn't have to keep switching them when I picked him up.

Bella is my girlfriend and I never plan on leaving her, so I need to show her that I am here forever. I want to marry her. I want to grow old with her and raise Mase with her and hopefully any other children we might be blessed with. I want to sit on our back porch in a rocker while we watch our grandchildren run around the yard.

I want to show them both the world. I am a trust fund baby, so I have more money then I know what to do with. I got my fund when I turned 22, but I haven't touched it other then to get my condo and that barely made a dent in it. I make good money just from my job and I also have some investments in the stock market. I was raised to use my money wisely and that is what I plan I doing with it.

Since I made my own work schedule I can get off as early as I want to. So when Bella called and asked me if I could pick Masen up, I moved all my meetings to tomorrow and clear my schedule right away. Bella was fiercely protective of Masen and rightfully so. Her asking me to pick him up, just showed that she was beginning to trust me with her most important thing.

Since I had cleared my schedule for the day I decided to leave the office early and get Masen out of school a few hours early.

His daycare was not to far from my work just under 15 minutes, which means I was only 25 minutes away from Bella's work. Good to know. I parked my Volvo and walked into the daycare up to the front desk "hello I'm Edward Cullen. I'm here pick up Masen Swan."

"Oh yes Ms Swan called ahead to add you to Masen's pick up list. I will have him right out, I just need you to fill this out and leave your signature on the bottom." I nodded grabbing the paper and pen. The paper just needed my phone number birth date. Who I was to Masen and my ID number.

Just as I was filling out the last few lines The office door opened up and Masen came running out as fast as his little legs could go. "EIDDIE." He yelled I always hated when people called me Eddie but when Masen does, it just makes my heart happy

"Maser" I picked him up and kissed his cheek asking him about his day. It was then noticed the front desk lady and an old women staring at us. I moved forward and reached out my hand. "Edward Cullen. It is nice to meet you" the older women stepped closer and grasped my hand in hers.

"Same to you, Mr Cullen. I am the teacher in Masen's class. My name is Shelly Cope" Masen smiled at her. "She so nice, Eddie" Mrs Cope blushed and pinched Masen's puffy cheek. "Thank you Mr Swan! Now I've kept you two long enough. You have a blessed day" We said our goodbyes and headed out to the Volvo.

As I was strapped Masen into his car seat he looked up at me with those big brown eyes that melt my heart. His mother has the same affect on me. "Eddie I ask you somethfing" I looked at him surprise written on my face. "Yeah buddy of course" He smiled.

"Is you my daddy?" I gasped. What the hell do I say to him. "No Masen. No I'm not your daddy" he nodded his head but kept his eyes on his hands in his lap. "But Ryan has a daddy and he say mama and dada's make kissy face" I stayed quiet, not sure what to say and definitely not want to over step.

"You makes the kissy faces with my mama, so is you the dada?" Man I'm gonna have to talk to this Ryan kid. What kind of three year old talks about kissy face. "Well not exactly Buddy. I am mommy's boyfriend and yes we do make kissy faces, but I'm not your dada" Yet. Is what I longed to add, but that was up to Bella.

"Oh" he said, his little face so sad and confused. "Do I's have a dada?" I shrugged. "We should talk to mommy About this Masen" a few tears ran down his cheeks. "Me has no dada, Eddie?" I sighed and kissed his head.

"Masen, please don't cry" I wiped his tears away. "Everyone has a daddy, I suppose. Some times some daddy's just don't hang around. But I promise you that one day you will have the best daddy in the whole world" He had enough faith in me to tell me what's on his mind and something that has clearly been bothering him and I didn't want to just leave him hanging.

"We will have to talk with mommy about this okay." He nodded a little frown on his face. "Cheer up little man. It's just me and you for awhile and we're gonna have tonnes of fun" he gave me a small smile and asked for his juice officially ending the conversation as his mind went somewhere else.

After I made sure he was settled I closed his door and walked around to mine. Damn this seems to be happening so fast. And for some reason this not scarring the shit out of me. If you would have told me two weeks ago that I would be with the women of my dreams who also happened to be a mother to an awesome kid. I would have laughed in your face.

I never really saw myself as a dad but I'm completely okay with being that little boy's daddy. I still don't think that Bella is ready for that yet and I feel like she still thinks that one day I'm gonna just up and leave her and Masen. Like that would ever happen.

Bella has ruined all other women. She's it for me, I couldn't imagine being with anyone other then Bella. And to even think about leaving Bella and Masen made me want to throw up my lunch.

We drove over to my house so I could stop and grab some comfy clothes and get out of my work ones. Masen and Bella have never been to my condo as we are always at their house where they can be comfortable. "We're gonna stop at my house for a second okay, Masen" I explained to him as I was taking him out of the seat.

Bella liked for people to talk to him and explain things to him. She says. Just because he was a kid doesn't mean he still deserved to be treated with respect and to know what's going on in his life.

After I got him out of the car I went to sit him down as he is usually very independent and likes to walk but his arms clamped around my neck and he shook his head no. "I'm surprised Maser. I thought you were all grown?" He just shrugged tucking his head in my neck and playing with the collar of my shirt. I patted his back and headed inside the lobby to the elevator.

I guess my little man just needed some extra love today and I was more then happy to oblige.

Masen was pretty amazed that I had a elevator in my house which meant I had to explain that I didn't have a elevator in my house that I just needed to use one to get to my house.

I walked down to door #203 and unlocked the door. Masen let me sit him down inside and he walked in looking around before running over to the wall to floor windows that looked over the city and saying everyone looked like little bugs.

I used to love my house but since being with Bella my house does not feel like home anymore. It feels empty and cold, way to big for just me. I had no family photos all over the place or throw pillows on the couch. No toys or anything fun for Masen.

Bella's house was so warm and inviting. When you were there you never wanted to leave. Now my house just represents how alone I used to be, all I ever did was work, eat, sleep and do it all over again. Now I had something to live for and made me more happy then I thought was possible.

(Later that night)

Once we got home I got Masen fed and got mine and Bella's dinner is in the oven for when she got home. Alice had left a note on the fridge saying that her and Jasper went to urgent care and didn't know when they would get back.

Poor Alice she must be feeling pretty rough to go to the doctors. She hated going anywhere near a doctor.

Bella should be home any second so me and Masen sit on the couch to watch his favorite show at the moment. Bluey on Disney. We were just about to play another episode when Bella walked though the front door looking dead on her feet.

I got up to meet her at the door and gave her small kiss. "Hey baby missed you."I said to her. Bella toed her shoes off as I helped her with her coat. "I missed you to. Did you have a good day at work?" She nodded and put her arms around my neck "Yeah it was fine" I smiled placing a kiss on her nose. She looked around before her eyes met mine again. "Where's Masen?" I laughed and pointed behind me, where Masen had passed out watching television.

She smiled and kissed me again. Someone was affectionate tonight "Your the best Eddie ever." I blushed looking at the floor before walking over to Oliver and picking him up.

Me and Bella went upstairs and together got him in bed. He woke up long enough to give Bella a hug and kiss mumbling that he missed and loved her. Bella stayed upstairs to take a shower so I went back downstairs and got dinner plated up.

I poured Bella a glass of her favorite wine and grabbed me a beer sitting down at the table and waited for Bella. I had some work email that I was looking over when Bella came downstairs in a set of dark red pajamas. Tonight she wore a night gown and it was so shear that I swore I could see her nipple though the front of it but I wasn't going to stare and make her uncomfortable.

But my pants got quite tight as I pulled Bella into my lap. "Do you have any idea how sexy you are, Swan?" She giggled wrapping her arms around my neck and playing with the hair I had there. "Nothing compared to you Mr Cullen" I brought my lips to hers and pulled her as close as I could. It started out as a small kiss but quickly turned very heated.

I wrapped my tongue around Bella's and palmed her ass so she would rock into me. "Ohhh Edward" she moaned in my mouth. I could listen to that all day. I ran my hands up her sides till I came to the sides of her breast. I held them in my hands loving how they fit their so perfectly.

"Please Edward" I smirked giving her what she wanted. I pulled on her nippled with my fingers and brought her lips back to mine. Her hips rocked against me again only this time it was all Bella.

I laughed out loud and just had to kiss her one more time. "Heard that gorgeous" she just blushed giving me a wide smile.

"I got asked me some intense questions by your son today" I told her as we were finishing up with dinner. "Oh really what was that? Hopefully it was the sex talk because I didn't want to do that." I laughed and shook my head

"Nah I'm sure he is saving that one just for you." She laughed and took a slip of her wine nodding her head for me to continue. "He asked me if I was..um if I was his daddy." She didn't look too surprised or upset at all. "Oh? Well what did you tell him" I pause for a second, looking at the plate in front of me. "I told him no and he said that his friend Ryan's mommy makes kissy face with his dad and was confused because I make kissy face to you"

Her eyes went wide and she choked on her wine. "Edward I'm really sorry. He's just a kid and I-" I grabbed her hand and put my mouth over hers to stop her apologizing. "Don't apologize beautiful. I am so happy he was comfortable enough with me to ask me that" she smiled. "He was pretty upset thinking that he didn't have a father. I told him that every ones had dad and that we should wait to talk to you about it."

She looked like she had tears in her eyes and she blinked trying to get them to go away. Her face went sad her eyes going glossy. "He did" I nodded, more mad at James then ever before. "God I could kill that man for making my baby feel this way" I nodded again agreeing with her on that one. I wish so bad I could have been at that party. i wish I could have saved her that horrible night. Take away all the pain and darkness she has.

But sadly life did not go that way. But at least I had them now and the last thing I was going to do would be leaving either one of them ever.

Me and Bella spent the rest of the night cuddling and watching some TLC show that Bella was into and if I'm being honestly I've gotten sucked in too. When it got late I kissed her and started getting ready to head out and go back to my empty home. "Wait Edward" Bella asked grabbing my hand and pulling me back to the couch with her. "Stay with me tonight" she whispered. "Masen doesn't get in my bed anymore and I would love if you stayed with me tonight" I wrapped my arms around her and excepted the invitation.

"You think I would decline the offer to hold my beautiful girl all night! I'm not crazy" she laugh giving me a kiss. I could tell we both wanted more then just a small kiss but Masen was just right down the hall plus we had already did way more then we should have tonight. We needed to be smart well smarter then we were in the dining room.

Together we locked up the house and turned off all the lights. We peeked into Masen's room to make sure he was alright for the night, before going to Bella's room.

I saw that her phone charger and books were on the nightstand on the left side of the bed and I had a little victory dance in my head because I always had to sleep on the right side of the bed. I have since I was just a little boy.She went to her bathroom and I sit at the foot of her bed and waited for her.

She came back after a few minutes with a clean face and glossy lips from her chapstick. "I left you a toothbrush on the counter for you to use" I nodded, giving her a kiss as thanks and walking to the bathroom and used the green brush she left out for me.

Since I was just in sweatpants and a T-shirt I pulled off my shirt knowing I would get to hot and got in bed with just my pants on and crawled into bed snuggling bella into my side and tangling her legs with mine. "Good night Edward" she kissed me softly and pulled away laying her head back on my chest. "Goodnight my Bella" I love you.

I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter. I really liked it! I wanted to add that I wrote this story a few years back and then Masen's name was actually going to be Oliver. So if you see Oliver just know that it should be Masen and I just missed it. Lol.
