Izuku took the tree branch and left the old man behind. He told him to head to a tower but where would it be? He has a yellow flashing dot on the screen of, what people keep calling the Sheikah Slate. But what does it mean? He stared at the yellow dot. However, he wasn't paying attention. He hit a huge rock and fell over. He stood up and shook it off. "I guess I have to be more careful," he said to himself.

Over the huge rock, were a few small pig-like creatures. All of them were red but one was wearing a golden skull around his neck. "These must be the monsters that guy was talking about." He examined the group and saw that they were jumping around a campfire, cooking a steak. "They don't seem to have noticed me yet. That's good."

He saw two clubs leaning on some rocks. "If I grab those clubs," he looked at his stick, "I could easily take them out. Better than with this stick." He sneaked around the rock, hoping the monsters wouldn't see him. He couldn't risk being caught. Not now. All he had was a stick. Though he could use his fists, a club will be more effective.

He stopped behind a bush. One of the pig things turned around. He walked over to the bush. Izuku held his breath. Behind the approaching pig, another squeaked. That called the other's attention back to the steak. They took it off and started chewing on it. "That was way too close," Izuku sighed of relief. He sneaked closer to the log. He reached out and pulled away a club. Then he went back to the bush. "I can't kill them. They are too cute! Plus, what's the point in attacking first if they aren't doing anything." He moved away from the camp.

"Okay, let's see. The old man told me that I can pin this dot here…" He put a red pin on the dot. Then he held up the tablet and looked through the camera option. In the distance, he saw a red beam of light. "That must be where I'm going!" This time, he put the tablet down before walking. He didn't want to run into another rock.

He climbed over a few, and dodged a few camps. None of them saw, thankfully. However, when he left the ruins, it became a little more difficult to tell which direction he was going in. All of it looked the same; a forest. He constantly glanced down at the blank map, making sure to stay with the flashing dot. He had to get there. That was his mission. He doesn't know what was up with the voice from the castle, or why he can't remember anything, but, that tower must have something to help him. To get his memories back. That's all he wanted.

He hid behind a tree when a tall pig saw him. "Please don't come over here," Izuku repeated to himself as the pig walked towards the tree. It stopped in front of it and started sniffing the ground. "I'm invisible. You can't-" It roared.

"Aw, shoot!" Izuku emerged from behind the tree and faced the music. He had to stop the monster now, it had saw him. The tall pig readied a spear. "A spear? I'm in trouble if I can't get close enough to him!" Izuku tried going under. The pig just jumped away.

The red pig took a thrust with his spear. Thankfully, Izuku saw it coming and ducked. The spear lodged into a tree and the pig could no longer get it out. "Now's my chance!" The monster kicked Izuku out of the way, then started searching the floor for a rock. "Oh no you don't!" Izuku cried as he threw his club at the monster's head. Then, he pulled the spear out of the tree and threw that as well. The spear stuck the monster to the wall. "I better get out of here," Izuku said, grabbing his club off the ground.

He stopped under a tree for a small break once he got far enough from the monster. There was no way he could be out there himself. There had to be more. He just didn't know where. He also didn't want to find out. "The guy said that this…'Sheikah Slate' can do more than I know," Izuku said, examining the tablet and turning it around in his hands, "but he didn't say exactly what it can do." He pushed a button. It beeped at him. A small square with a bomb inside of it caught his attention. "What does this do?" Once again, he pushed the button and it beeped at him. "Hmm, maybe it's broken?"

He pulled up the map again. The yellow dot is closer than before. He had to make it there. The light in the castle sounded tired and desperate. Whoever it was, whatever it was, it needed his help. But why him? Out of everyone, why did it choose him? What could he do? He couldn't even remember what he was doing in that cave.

Izuku stopped in front of a rock and looked up to see a pillar. The pillar was rather odd on a cave. He looked at the map and the flashing dot was still there. He was right on top of it, since his location was shown by a green arrow. "Could it be underneath me?" he asked, lifting his feet to check for anything odd. No luck. "Hmm, where could it be?" He walked into the cave to check inside of there. The yellow dot on the map disappeared, which the old man said would happen when he reached his destination. "So it's in here? But it's just a cave?" He started walking. "What could be so special about-"

Something jabbed him in the gut. "Ouch…" He looked down and saw another pedestal like the one in the cave. "Ah! This must be it!" he exclaimed cheerfully. He took of the Sheikah Slate and held it above the pedestal. "Hmm, nothing." That time, he touched it. Then he noticed a small slot for the tablet, the same size. "Oh! Of course!" It was too dark in the place he started to see it. He just kinda…put it there. He pushed the Sheikah Slate into the hole. It pushed out, twirled and then went back in. He tilted his head when the screen lit up with a symbol of a single eye with a tear. "Well that's weird." He tapped it. "Sheikah Slate inserted. Please watch for falling rocks," a little robotic voice chimed from inside the pedestal.

"Falling rocks?" Suddenly, the ground shook beneath him. "Woah!" Izuku adjusted his feet so he wouldn't fall. The ground rose. He looked outside the cave and watched the ground beneath him shrink. "What is happening?" Izuku asked, stunned with the view.

The ground stopped rising and the pedestal spoke again. "Extracting regional map. Please wait." He looked at it. A blue pillar above the pedestal lit up. That pillar also has the same symbol as the Sheikah Slate's screen. However, this one has no tear.

A blue drop started forming, making the tear. He watched it grow bigger. Then it hit the tablet and sank into the screen. "What was that?" he asked, leaning closer to the screen. It lit up again, this time, to show the blank map. A blue ripple formed on it and when it vanished, a map appeared. The map had elevation, lakes and even a few of the major enemy bases. "Map extracted, please remove the slate," the robotic voice said. Izuku took off the tablet and glanced at the map.

"So, you got the tower then, huh?" a voice behind him said. Izuku turned around, startled. "Oh, it's just you," he sighed.

"Of course, who else would it be?" the man laughed.

"You just startled me, that's all!" Izuku said, waving an arm and rubbing the back of his head.

The old man clapped. "Way to go, young Izuku. Now you have to do something else before you can leave this plateau."

"What do you need?"

"Hand me your Sheikah Slate." Izuku handed him the tablet. The man fiddled with it. Then he handed it back. "There four dots are your next destinations." Izuku looked at the four dots, each on a corner of the plateau. "Those will help your Sheikah Slate unlock all the upgrades locked away."

"What about this place?" Izuku asked, pointing at the bottom right corner. "Isn't this place cold?"

"Yes, it is," the man said, nodding thoughtfully. "If you meet me on the top of a peak, I will gift you something that will help in your journey."

"Thank you!" Izuku cheered, pumping his fists in front of himself.
