Izuku walked over to an empty opening on the top of the tower, and fell to the platform below. Looking down, Izuku realized that the platforms lined the sides of the tower, leading down to the floor, one after another like a flight of stairs. After leaving the area around the tower, he started walking towards the strange place that the old man showed him. He stopped at the bridge. There was no way to cross except for going around. It looked as if the bridge had been broken for a long time. Going around would take a while, however, but swimming across and climbing the edge would make him tired; fast. Izuku decided it would be best to walk. While walking, he noticed a bird-like creature flying in the distance.
"I wonder what that thing is." Izuku said quietly to himself. He brought out his Sheikah Slate and pointed it at the bird. After fiddling around with it for a little while, he found out that he could zoom in on things in the distance and mark them with colorful pins. The zoom was not very obvious, and not very helpful. He pinned the bird and brought out his map.
"I wonder if-" He had pinned the mountain behind the bird, not the creature itself. Looking again at his map, it was very far away. He removed the pin and kept walking.
He made it over to the pedestal in front of the strange place. He gently tapped the Sheikah Slate on the pedestal and the doors slid open. Izuku looked up and saw that the top of the place was orange, while the lights on the main body were blue. Next to where he was standing was a purple chest with "EX" labeled on it with a gold color. He opened it and got a ruby from it.
Walking into the open doors, there was nothing more than a platform with a pattern of blue lights on it. Izuku stood on it and it went down, carrying Izuku with it.
"Woah! I don't know what I was expecting, to be honest."
The platform stopped in what it looked like was underneath the Shrine. Izuku walked off the platform and looked around. There was yet another pedestal off to the left. He put the Sheikah Slate on the device and watched it spin, and then go down.
"Sheikah Slate detected. Extracting rune…" The blue pillar above the pedestal was like the one on the tower. The blue drop hit the slate and, once again, sank into the screen. Izuku took a look at the screen. It was on a different page this time. There were five outlines in the shape of squares. A ripple formed on one of the squares and a symbol of a magnet appeared. There was a small bit of information underneath the picture.
"Oh, so now I have a magnet?" The screen went dark; much like it does when he turns it off. "Rune extracted. Please remove the Sheikah Slate." Izuku picked the device back up, and put it back on his belt.
Turning around, Izuku saw two large metal plates. They were most likely leading to the next area. He looked at the Sheikah Slate. It was still on the page with all the runes on it. He poked the Magnesis symbol and suddenly, on the screen, the metal plates turned a red color. He moved the Sheikah Slate to line up with one of the plated and clicked on it. A giant blue magnet shape appeared around the Sheikah Slate so Izuku was now holding a magnet. The plate was now a yellow color and had holographic lines connecting the plate to the magnet. He moved the magnet to the side, and the plate followed. "This is cool. I could get used to this!"
