He began to walk, then he stopped. He realized then that he had no idea how the magnet even worked. Once he began walking, the blue magnet retreated back into the slate. He grabbed it off of his hip and examined it. "Hmm, how does this work?" He messed around with the screen, swiping and staring at the map. He slid his finger across the screen to the right, revealing a screen with a few boxes, one currently filled with the magnet. Under the picture, small words read 'Magnesis.'

"This must be it!" He touched the square and a large blue magnet formed from thin air again, this time, staying as he walked. He held tight to the magnet, not sure if it would hurt when it hit the floor or vanish. Holding it seemed to help with the magnet's habit of disappearing.

Once he got to the next area, a large room with a chest in the center, he paused. "This is weird." He let go of the magnet, and sure enough, it vanished. "A chest right in the middle of the room..." Hesitantly, he approached it. Was a monster going to pop out at him if he touched it? Would that weird voice from before speak to him and tell him what to do?

He touched it and flinched. Nothing. "Well, I had hoped for something at least." He tried to pull the lid off but it wouldn't budge. Then, he noticed a lock on the lid. The lock is in the shape of a blue circle, the same color blue as the slate. He held up the Sheikah Slate next to it to see if anything happened. The slate and the lock lit up before they both stopped completely.

He sat there for a minute before the chest popped open. Izuku flinched and fell backwards. "Well, I guess these 'shrine chests' are different then, huh? I'm going to have to get used to this." Inside the chest was a small sword. "Hey! This might actually be helpful!" He grabbed the sword and put it in the bag with his club. He had no idea how it fit in there but he decided it would be best for the old man to answer. He seems to know everything anyway. He knows about the tablet he found in that cave, he knows about the monsters, and these...'shrines', as he called them. He also knows about the voice inside the castle. However, he never explained the purple mist around it. Was it bad? Was it good? Would it hurt him if he touched it?

He continued down the hall and stopped before a corner. He heard a noise, but he stopped when he neared. He held his breath and listened. Around the corner, he heard the small, quiet beeps of something mechanical. He didn't know what to expect. Would it try to kill him if he rounded the corner? Would it gift him something? Would it test his courage and strength before he could continue?

He decided he didn't want to find out. "Here goes," Izuku said, releasing the air. He grabbed his club, just in case. He jumped out from behind the corner to be met by a small robotic creature, except, it wasn't a creature. It has legs like a spider, but only three, and it's head is tucked into it's body. The orange lights covering it's body reminded him of the slate. Does everything with lights have the same lights as the slate?

The mechanical thing beeped at the sight of Izuku. It began to charge something in it's eye, which Izuku wasn't sure what it was. He could block it, but he doesn't have a shield, and it wouldn't be a very good idea to use his arms. It looks like a beam it's charging so it could singe his arms, or worse, burn them.

He didn't want to take the risk, so Izuku jumped towards the machine, dodging a beam that was shot out of it's eye, and smacking the machine with his club. However, the club splintered into a million pieces as it hit the bot, leaving just the handle left in his hand. "Huh?!" Izuku cried, as the bot stumbled backwards and the rest of the splintered wood scattered on the floor. He stared at the handle in his grasp and shoved it into the bot's eye. It sparked, trying to shoot a beam but failed. The beam backtracked into the bot's system instead, blowing it up.

Izuku held up his arms in defense, singing the outside of his arms. He dropped the handle of the club and shook off his arms. "Ouch! Ah..." He decided it would be best to blow on his arms, but that only made it worse. "Ah...Why did I think that was a good idea?" he asked himself, shaking off the pain on his arms.

He pushed through the pain and opened the next door, to find two platforms in front of him, and a long metal door on the floor next to him. Once again, he pulled out his magnet, raised the door, and lined it up with the gap between the two platforms, creating a bridge to cross. However, he had to do it once more before he could reach the end.

At the end, there is a large barricade blocking the dead...person? Is that a person? He climbed the stairs to investigate. He stopped in front of the bright blue wall. On it, was the single eye and tear again. This symbol has to mean something, but what? It's everywhere, even his Sheikah Slate. "Oh! Maybe that's it!" He held up the tablet to the wall but nothing happened. He put it back and touched the wall. It shattered but none of the pieces hit the floor.

"I am Oman Au," a voice rang in his head. "I am the guardian of this shrine. I have received news that you activated the tower. You awoke all of the monks who reside inside the shrine. We have been waiting for you, Izuku."

"What is this?" Izuku asked. He seems to know a lot, he might have some answers. "This is my shrine. I built it for the champion to overcome. I have set up a puzzle for the champion to overcome to receive my blessing. It will prove helpful to you." An orb with a bird on it appeared in front of him. "Take it, Champion."

Izuku raised his hands under the orb. It vanished. "What was that?"

"That was my blessing." The pain on his arms slowly recovered. "Did you...did you heal me?" Izuku asked, puzzled.

"I did. All of the monks who reside in these shrines have offered to give you their blessing. In doing so, we recover any damage that might have inflicted you. Is there anymore questions, Champion?"

"Yes, actually. Why do you keep calling me that?"

"That will be answered soon enough," the monk replied. "I bid you farewell, and good luck, Champion." The monk disintegrated in front of Izuku.

Izuku left, or at least, was teleported outside, where he met the mysterious old man again. "Ah, young Izuku! Welcome back!"

"What was that?"

"That was a shrine. It granted you the ability to use magnesis, didn't it?"

"Well, yeah."

"Could you perhaps help me? I have lost a box I was going to give you but I have happened to misplace it."

"Yeah, is it metal?"

"It is." Izuku raised his magnet after tapping the screen. The magnet scanned the area and found a box, which turned red, off the cliff. "How did you manage to drop it down there?"

"I loose things easily in my old age," the man replied. Izuku lifted the metal box and lowered it to the floor. "Ah, thank you, young Izuku! Now you may open it and take whatever is inside!"

Izuku opened the box to find a large shield and a ruby. When he looked up to thank the man, he was gone.
