Sorry for this chapter being so late!! I've had four kiddos staying at my house for the summer and they have been keeping be quite busy! But I love it and it's been really fun. Being around little kids again has given me lots of ideas for Masen that I can't wait to write!

Chapter 17 October
Bella POV
You know sometimes I wonder what the point of weddings are. You spend month's planning out this huge party. Buy a poofy dress that cost way to much money to just wear it for one day. Stress over who goes where and why this aunt won't eat the fish. So much fuss for one day out of the rest of your lives together. I would much rather have a small intimate wedding and go on a really nice honeymoon on a beach somewhere.
I feel more comfortable with my choice as I watch my best friend running around Chicago like a mad woman to make sure this wedding goes absolutely perfect. At some point this week Alice found her energy once again and was off like a rocket. Her morning sickness is starting to ease and she is ready to get on with this wedding.
She pulled me out of bed before the sun even came up yet. She wanted to go check out the venue to see what we would need to bring. Apparently the maid of honor tags along for these events, who knew.
Edward and I hadn't even been asleep for that long after Alice woke me up. Edward very thoroughly made up for us missing out yesterday morning. He just about one more timed me to death! He was just way to sexy to say no too. After our 3rd round we finally passed out tangled around one another. Luckily we had covered up at some point or else Alice would have walked into a very uncomfortable situation.
After Alice got me up she allowed me time to actually shower and get ready. Edward was still sleeping peacefully when I was ready. He had rolled over to his stomach, his arm thrown over my pillow with his face buried. I slipped on my shoes and grabbed my purse. I quietly closed the door behind me.
Walking over to Masen room I pushed the door open and peeked inside finding my snoozing son. He was sleeping the exact way Edward was, on his stomach with his face buried in the pillow. He a small smiling playing on his lips and I wonder what he must be dreaming about. I wasn't sure how long I would be gone so I laid Masen an outfit out, that way he if wanted to get dressed for the day he could.
Alice was waiting for me in the hall way with her arms crossed, her foot tapping on the hardwood floors. "Are you ready yet?" She asked me. "Yes, I just need to grab a banana or something before we go" Alice nodded, letting me walk past her. Just to tick her off, I took the stairs taking my time with each step.
Not wanting to stress the pregnant bride to much I just grabbed a banana and granola bar for a quick breakfast on the way to the shops. I was hopeful she would at least feed me some real food at some point today. "Bellllaaaaa" Alice whined my name walking into the kitchen. "Hurry up! I don't want to be late" I rolled my eyes and grabbed my food. "I'm coming, come on" once again I walked passed her out to the foyer making sure to grab my purse and slipped my phone inside as well.
"Where are we even headed?" I asked from my spot in the backseat. We had been driving for a good 30 minutes and Jasper GPS still showed another 20 minutes to go. "We are going to Bella Bianca Bridal Couture to pick up my wedding dress!" Alice squealed jumping in her seat.
Alice had her dressed designed by this Bianca woman who is making Alice's dress personally for Alice and apparently Al will be wearing a one of a kind wedding dress the only one like it in the USA. There is another dress similar to her in Paris. I'm sure the dress is costing more then I make for a whole year, but I heard that Carlisle is paying for the dress. Guess it would make sense for the father of the bride to buy the dress.
Esme was going to go with us, but since she's already seen the dress, she decided to stay back at the house and spend time with her mother and surprising Masen. She was hoping she persuade Edward into going out with Carlisle so her and Mary could have Mase all to themselves. Once Edward has the ok from me I'm sure he will spend some time with his father.
"Bella I can't wait for you to see my dress! I'm going to do one last fitting just in case, the baby might have grown some" Her hand rested on her slight bump and a smile on her face. It makes me so happy to see her happy about the baby. I was so upset during my pregnancy. I wish I could go back to have a redo now that I have met Masen and I know he is not a monster like James. I think I would have enjoyed being pregnant then.
"I can't wait to see it Allie, I'm sure it's just beautiful" I wonder if I'll be this excited over a dress when I get married. I hoped so.
Finally we pulled up to a long stretch of shops. Jasper dropped us off at the front of the building and he was going to go find something else to do for the next hour while we checked this off the list.
Inside was absolutely beautiful! The front desk was made out of dark wood with white marble countertops. Hanging above the desk was a huge chandelier that with the sun hitting was casting off small rainbows everywhere you looked. Alice went up to the desk and said who she was here for. Right away a tall woman with long black hair came walking around the corner.
"Alice darling! Congratulations the day is near!" She had a thick accent that it was almost to hard to understand what she was saying. "I know!! All I need is the dress" Bianca took Alice back to a dressing room and pointed me into the direction of the family sitting area. The whole room was done in all whites and creams. There was two velvet sofas positioned in front of the three mirrors and the circle platform.
They had even set out some champagne and plates of fruits and cookies. I got a very small glass of champagne and a plate with a bit of everything before sitting down and waiting on Alice.
The shop was surprisingly empty and quiet. There was one other happy couple in the room over and it seems like they have been enjoying the champagne. While I was waiting my phone beeped with a text from Edward.
Edward: I hate waking up without you! My damn sister lol. Hope you are having fun my love, we miss you.
Edward had attached a picture of him and Masen laying in bed Masen's bed with big smiles on their faces. I wish I was with them and not here.
Bella: Sorry sweetheart, you will have to take that up with your damn sister lol. I miss my boys and wish I was with you guys. Hopefully I will be back soon. Xoxo
I saved the picture to my photo album and put my phone away. "Are you ready Bella" Alice's head poked though the silk curtain keeping her body hidden from view. "You have no idea!! Please come out" Bianca stepped out first opening the curtains for Alice to come through.
I could stop the gasp from escaping my mouth. Her dress was absolutely beautiful. "Oh Alice! It's so beautiful" the dress was long and slightly flowing. There was lace detailing starting at the flowing sleeves and stopping at the end of the train. The back part of the dress was exposed in a V shaped down to her bottom with elegant buttons going down. It was perfect.
"Oh I love it Bianca! You did amazing I couldn't imagine wearing any other dress tomorrow" I handed Alice a tissue yo dry the few tears that fell down her cheeks. Poor pregnancy hormones are getting her good. I cried a lot during my pregnancy but I just thought that was from how I got pregnant.
"You will look so beautiful miss Alice. Now your father has already paid for everything, so let me just put this back in the cover and let you get on your way" Alice wanted me to a picture first so we snapped a few good ones before she took the gorgeous dress off.
Bianca was giving Alice the certificate for the dress when Jasper walked in with two bouquets of flowers. "Well I went and paid the caterers and the band and on my way back I spotted a little flower shop, so I thought I would grab you two lovely ladies some flowers" I smiled taking the flowers and bring them to my nose to smell them.
"Oh Jazzy Pooh you are so so sweet!!" Alice cried throwing her arms around Jasper and clutching his neck giving him a loud kiss. "Thank you Jasper that was very kind of you" I said once Alice let him up for air. Bianca had put Alice's dress inside a black dress bag, so Jasper wouldn't see the dress before tomorrow.
We stopped at the venue to check that the designer had come by and prepared for the final decorations tomorrow before we headed home. We also grabbed some Chinese takeout to bring home to everyone for lunch. Since there was so many people at the house, we just ordered a bit of everything.
"Mommy!!" Masen yelled when I stepped into the living room. I squatted down on my knee and caught my running son. "Hi baby, I missed you" I place small kisses all over his face making him giggle. "I miss you mama. Wanna see what me and Eddie builts with the logs?" Masen asked me.
I sit Masen on his feet and walked over to in front of the fireplace where Edward was sitting crisscross, applesauce by a pretty impressive tower. "Hey baby" I whispered to Edward. He pulled me down in his lap kissing my cheek. "Hello, love" Edward nipped at my earlobe before tucking his head in my neck and keeping it there.
"Otay Mama. Look at how tall this building is and there is ah spot for the army people to stand and be a look out!!" I listened carefully as Edward and Masen showed me all the ins and outs of their tower. Both very proud of their creation. "That is quite a tower Maser. I am very impressed!" Masen gave us a toothy grin at my praise.
Masen threw his arms around me and Edward squeezing us as tight as possible. "Thanks Mama!!" We got off the floor after a while to go and join everyone else for dinner. When I stepped into the kitchen I spotted my flowers sitting on the counter still in the plastic wrap. "Oh shoot I need to put these in some water" Esme told me where I could find a Vase and I got to work with snipping off the ends slightly.
"Who bought you flowers?" Edward asked. His arms were crossed over his chest and his coopery eyebrows frowning. "Jasper got them for me, aren't they pretty!" I smiled at Jasper, putting the flowers into the vase and filling it with some water. "Whitlock you tryin to take my girl?" Edward jokingly fussed at Jasper making him blushed and quickly shake his head.
"No, never! I was getting Alice some flowers and I didn't want to not get Bella some as well. That wouldn't be very gentlemen now would it?" Edward rolled his eyes coming to stand next to me and wrapped his arms around my waist, his hands coming to rest on my bum.
"I guess I can let it slide" he cocked his eyebrow. "This time only" and with that Edward pressed a kiss that was way to inappropriate for company. "Edward Anthony! Your parents are in the room and so is my son!" I lightly smacked his chest pushing him away. "Aww, you never let me have any fun" Edward whined making everyone laugh. Life with the Cullen's is certainly not boring, that's for sure.

It was a beautiful sunny day in Chicago. No rain in the forecast. A beautiful day for a wedding. Last night Alice convinced me to have a "sleepover" in her room since she wasn't going to have a bachelorette party.
I wasn't exactly thrilled about the idea of sleeping without Edward, but I knew that it was part of my maid of honor duty to plan a bachelorette party and this bride wanted a sleepover and that's what she got.
Edward, Jasper and Carlisle all went downtown to a local pub for a drink while us girls stay back at the house and got a pedicure and our nails done. Once Masen went to bed for the night Esme pulled out a bottle of champagne and me and her ended up drinking the entire bottle just the two of us. I was definitely more then a little tipsy by the end of the night, but it was fun to let loose a little bit.
It was also very fun to see a very tipsy Esme. Esme was normally very straight edged and was normally not one to have even one drink much less half a bottle to herself. She was hilarious! All she could talk about was how excited she was for the wedding and that she couldn't wait to meet her grandchild and then she started asking when me and Edward would have a baby. That was when we finally cut her off.
Thankfully Masen slept through all the noise, but was up at sun rise ready to start his day. Edward luckily didn't drink at all the night before as he got put on designated driver duty for the night. So since he was the only one without a pounding headache him and Oma watched Masen for me.
Alice didn't drink of course, but I wasn't going to let her help with Masen when she was getting married tonight. She needed to relax before she started getting ready for their big day!
The wedding was going to be at twilight tonight at the church that Alice went to as a child. So around one in the afternoon everyone started to get ready. Esme had transformed her master bathroom into a beauty salon for us girls whilst the men were in the Jasper and Alice room getting ready.
Since we only get one hair and makeup team for each rooms we figured it would just be easier for everyone to all get ready in two room. Alice didn't want Jasper to see her till she was walking down the aisle to him. All ready and dolled up in her white dress.
Alice decided to have me and Esme get our hair and makeup done first as her will take longer then ours. I was a little nervous about someone doing my hair and makeup. I was used to Alice playing Bella Barbie but I wasn't sure how I would feel with someone I didn't know touching me.
Alice said they are all very professional people and I would actually find it kinda relaxing and to just enjoy myself. We all sipped on ice cold mimosas while we were pampered. Oma wasn't getting her hair and makeup done for the wedding because she said she would personally like to do everything herself, but she stayed with us and hung out.
Masen stayed with the guys the whole time and Edward promised me he would look after him and make sure he looked handsome for the wedding. Since he was the ring bearer I didn't want him to look thrown off. This might be a smallish wedding, but it definitely wasn't a laid back wedding. Everyone was dressing very fancy was going to look extra formal for tonight.
I knew Edward would have it under control and Masen always listens to Edward better then anyone else. He loves Edward so much, that he would probably jump off a cliff if Edward said so.
By 5:30 all us ladies made it to the church and were ready to go. I could tell that Alice was starting to get a bit nervous as time passed by, but she was keeping a cool face. Her eyes were bright and excited and she couldn't stay still. She looked absolutely beautiful. Her dress was perfect and hugged her body beautifully. Her makeup was done in light browns and black to make her Icey blue eyes pop. She just wore plain lip gloss on her lips, and her black spiked hair was curled slightly and framing her face making her shine. I had never seen Alice look so stunning! Jasper has no idea what's coming, that's for sure.
Carlisle came in the room immediately tears filled his blue eyes as he looked at his daughter all ready for her wedding day. "Oh my little Allie cat. You look so beautiful baby girl" Carlisle kissed her forehead and carefully tucked her arm into the crook of his. The large arch doors opened and I couldn't stop the gasp from escaping my lips.
The church was just beautiful, I had never seen anything like it. The ceiling went into an arch with dark woods. There was a large dome over the stage with huge stained glass windows that casted off warm oranges and reds from the sun set. I could now see why their wanted to marry at this time.
All of the pews had flowers hanging over them with white tull draped to the floor. Candles covered the stage and Jasper was standing under a beautiful arch. It was cover in dark green, greenery with baby breath hanging down. It was just beautiful.
Standing next to Jasper was my handsome Edward, his face was flushed and his eyes never moved from mine as I walked down the aisle. He had an oddly sad look in his eye and I made a point to remember to ask him about it.
Masen was standing right by Edward and he looked so nice. All of the guys were in matching suits and it looked like Edward actually tried to tame him and Masen's hair! Both of them looked so nice that I had a few tears come to my eyes looking at the two of them.
I gave Edward one last wink as I took my spot by the arch. Once I was in place the music switched over to Marry me by Train. From the corner of my eye I saw both Jasper and Edward looking at Alice in Awe.
Carlisle face was shining bright as he placed Alice's hand into Jaspers. Jaspers eyes were glistening with unshed tears while Alice was crying enough for the both of them.
the priest motion for everyone to sit down and said a prayer over the couple. And then had everyone raise and everyone sung two songs from their hymns. The priest ended the song and said "The Gospel of the Lord," making almost everyone in the church including. Alice and Edward say "Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ," and made the cross over their chest.
Communion was brought over and Alice and Jasper did a very quiet and intimate communion with the priest. We said another prayer before having Jasper and Alice stand in front of each other and hold hands.
"Jasper Whitlock and Alice Cullen, have you come here freely and without reservation to give yourselves to each other in marriage?" He asked them. "Yes we have" Jasper and Alice said.
"Will you honor each other as man and wife for rest the of your lives?" He questioned Jasper and Alice. "Yes" they replied.
"Will you accept children lovingly from God, and bring them up according to the law of Christ and his church?" Jasper and Alice agreed both wearing knowing smiles on their faces. "Very well, please bring me the rings" Masen bounced over and held the satin pillow up high for the old man to take the rings. He handed Jasper the diamond band first. "Please repeat after me"
I, Jasper Whitlock, take you, Alice Cullen, to be my wife. I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love you and honor you all the days of my life." Jasper held his head high as he repeated the words to Allie. His gray eyes shining bright. Ever so slowly he pushed the ring onto Alice's finger pushing it flush with her engagement ring.
I, Alice Cullen, take you, Jasper Whitlock, to be my husband. I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love you and honor you all the days of my life." Alice said though her tears, carefully she slipped the gold band onto Jaspers left hand, placing a kiss there once she was finished.
"It is my proud honor to announce to you all Mr and Mrs Jasper Whitlock. You may now kiss your beautiful bride!" Jasper so sweetly dipped Alice and kissed her. The crowd went wild with cheers and claps. Marry me started playing once again as their walked back down the aisle.
Masen followed behind them and Edward grabbed my arm looping it with his and walked me back down the aisles. I couldn't help but imagine what our wedding day might look like one day.
The photographer Everyone piled into different cars. Alice and Jasper were driving by themselves to the venue while the rest of the family was in the limo that Carlisle rented for the day. Me and Mase were quite impressed by the limousine, seeing as we had never been inside one. We've never even be close to a limo before. I felt so fancy and completely out of place, but Edward was laid back and relaxed, so I figured that he was used to this type of thing.
"You looked so beautiful standing up there, love. I just wanted to grab you and kiss ya!" Edward whispered in my ear slightly nibbling on it, making me blush. "You looked quite handsome yourself. I love how you tried to tame your hair for the wedding!" Edward rubbed the back of his neck ducking his head down. "Yeah I tried, but that doesn't mean it actually worked" Edward run a hand though his wild cooper hair.
Edward leaned his head on my shoulder and wrapped an arm around my waist. I brought my hand up and ran my fingers through the soft hair on his head. "Masen did so great at the wedding. I was a little worried about how he would do having to stand up there for so long, but I think he was quite fascinated by the service" Masen stood so well though the entire thing.
"Yeah I never stood that still at Mass. I was always so bored and would dig though my Oma's huge ass purse to find candy. Then I would get to loud and my mom would pop me on the hand and give me that mom look" Edward chuckled at the memory his green eyes moving over to his mom. "That seems like forever ago" He sighed.
Soon the limo pulled up to the reception venue. They were having it at The Builders BLGD. The place was absolutely huge! And just from what we saw the other day it was going to be beautiful and very fancy. I was a little worried about bringing Masen but Alice adamant that he would get to attend just like everyone else.
Almost everyone who was at the wedding was now here and very hungry. Alice and Jasper planned a full dinner for everyone since it was already dinner time. The guest have the option to choose their protein, which is either salmon, chicken or steak. And the sides were mashed potatoes with grilled asparagus. Plus the caterers would be walking around with appetizers for everyone to snack on as their pleased.
Masen was already passing hungry and getting on the hangry so I was praying that their would at least have the appetizers ready so Masen could eat something at least. "Mama this place is huge!!" Masen spinning around with his arms out looking up at the huge ceilings.
"I know, Aunt Al went all out for her wedding!" The venue looked amazing! There was tons of round tables, with cream table cloths. Tall vases sit on the middle of the tables with beautiful flowers flowing over. Each place setting was done perfectly in matching creams and dark red. It was truly outstanding.
Alice put me and Masen at the family table with everyone else, I was a little surprised when I saw where we were on the seating chart, but I guess it would make sense for me to sit with Edward and of course he's going to sit at the family table. "When are you going to see, that we all see you and Mase as our family. We love you both so much, Bella" Edward placed a sweet kiss on my forehead.
"We love you too" I whispered just for him to hear. Edward placed my hand in the crook of his arm, leading me over to our seat. Esme, Carlisle and Mary were already seated and had their drink. "There is my handsome grandson! You did such an awesome job being the ring bearer!" Esme told Masen once she spotted us. Mase instantly rush over to Esme and let her pull him into her lap.
"Thanks Nana! I was very nervous, but Eddie held my hand when I was scared" Esme smiled fondly at her eldest son leaning over and pressing a kiss to his cheek. "What a good Eddie you are" Edwards cheeks glowed red at his mothers praise and looked down at our inner twined hands.
"Alright everyone, can I draw your attention to the stairwell please" The DJ's voice rang out through the vaulted ceilings. He changed the song over to I was born to love you by Ray LaMontagne. "For the first time ever Mr and Mrs Whitlock!" Everyone cheered for them as they walked down the stairs. Alice and Jasper moved to the center of the room for their first dance.
I cuddled up to Edward and watched Jasper sway his new bride around the dance floor. They looked so perfect together and I was so happy for the two of them. "I can't wait to see what their baby will look like! I bet they will be so cute" I said quietly, not wanting to pop our little bubble. "I'm sure they will. Alice was a beautiful baby, she came out with that jet black hair and blue eyes" I could help but imagine a tiny little babe with Alice's baby blue eyes and jaspers curly blonde locks. I wonder if he or she will be more like.
Edward softly sang the lyrics of the song in my ear, making goosebumps cover my arms.
"Could make you smile, could make you sing Just want to give back a little bit of what you give me I could sing you a song, play you a tune I know it's just a little thing, but it's something I can do"
Edward leaned down and captured my lips with his, giving me a passionate kiss. I'm guessing this wedding had his head in the same place mine was. "I know I've already said it, but I'll say it again. You look exquisite tonight. I can't get over how sexy your body looks in this dress" I'm sure my cheeks were bright red by the time he finished talking. My wide eyes scanned our table making sure no one was watching. Luckily everyone was watching Jasper spinning Alice around the dance floor.
"Wanna skip out early?" Edward whispered in my ear, leaving little nibbles and kisses everywhere he went. "Edddwaarrddd" I whined. Not caring who saw k grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and place a sloppy kiss on his lips. "Tonight I'm all yours. But you have to hold out till this wedding is over. I'm the maid of honor and your the best man. We can't skip out early. And Masen is our plus one, so we can't forget about him" Edward let out a tense breath shifting in his seat.
"Your right, I'm sorry baby, your just too damn sexy" He shot me a wink giving me another quick kiss. Life was definitely not dull with Edward by my side. He definitely keeps things spicy that's for sure.
Edward flagged over a waiter, getting us both a glass of champagne. Soon the song came to an end and Carlisle was called up for the father daughter dance and Maria Jaspers mother couldn't make it to the wedding sadly, so Jasper asked Esme to dance, using his southern charm and making her swoon.
After their dances were done dinner was served and my oh my was it delicious! I ended up getting the fish and it was so yummy! Edward got the steak and let me try a bite, and it was fantastic as well. Masen even finished all of his fish to along with all of his sides. I guess this day made him very hungry. The wine Jasper and Alice chose for the meal was perfect and just the slightest hint of sweetness.
Alice and Jasper cut into their huge cake and took great fun in smearing it all over each other's faces. Masen thoroughly enjoyed his slice of cake, but was very disappointed by the fact that he wasn't able to also smash cake onto his face.
The DJ called all the ladies up to the front for the bouquet. Alice stood up on a few steps while all us girls moved around her ready to catch. Alice lifted it three times before tossing it in the air, right into my arms! Everyone squealed while all the men at our table started patting Edward on the back and telling him good luck. Edward just smiled and winked at me. Clearly he didn't mind.
We danced our butts off and probably drank way to much, but before I knew it, the night had flow by and it was midnight. Masen was passed out on Edwards shoulder as we sent off the happy couple to their honeymoon. They were headed to Mexico for a week before they had to get back to the normalcy of life.
Thankfully Esme hired a clean up crew, so me and Edward were free to leave once we said goodbye to everyone. Oma grabbed a ride back to the house with us, while Esme and Carlisle stayed behind to chat with a few friends and make sure all of the wedding gifts were arranged to be sent back to Port Angeles.
I cuddled up with Edward on the ride home with Masen all cozy in my lap, still snoozing away. I must've dozed off because I woke up the Edward softly tugging Masen out of my arms. "We're home baby. Let me take him for you" I gladly let Edward take my sleeping son. Masen was starting to get heavy, especially when he's dead asleep.
Together we changed Masen into fresh pajamas and tucked him into bed with a kiss on the head. I was barely out of Masen's door before Edward attacked me. Kissing and sucking up my neck, working his way to my lips. "Is it my turn with you now?" He asked but didn't give me a moment to answer as he pushed his lips against mine, his tongue demanding entrance into my mouth.
Not releasing my lips Edward walked us backwards till my back hit the door. Edward lifted me up and opened out door, shutting it right behind him and flipping the lock. "I can't wait to get you out of this dress" I whimpered pulling his puffy lips back to mine.
Edward sit me on the cold marble counter top making me squeal! He gave me my favorite smile, and turned around to turn on the shower. I hoped off the counter and started taking my jewelry off. I was having a difficult time getting my necklace off as I was to busy watching my God of a boyfriend taking off his suit. I was already wet and achy just from looking at him.

I kept begging him to go faster, push just a little bit harder. I don't know what had gotten into me, but it was like I couldn't get close enough to him. Kiss him enough. I could taste his breath on my tongue, but he was still to far from me. "Edward, what are you doing to me, your like a drug that I just can't get enough of" I almost felt like crying, I had so much love for this beautiful man.
"i know baby. Just let go" his thumb circled my swollen nub pushing me over the edge. "EDWARD!" I screamed racking my nails down his back and trying to pull him closer. I was vaguely aware of Edward releasing into me, my head felt cloudy and my legs were trembling.
Edward sit me down on shaking legs keeping an arm around me to keep me steady. Using his free hand he got some of my body wash and carefully started washing my overly sensitive body. "You take such good care of me Edward" He pecked my lips and smiled. "It's my honor Bella. I love you so much. I couldn't imagine my life without you in it" I couldn't see my life without him either. Edward and his family have given me a whole new look on life and I was so grateful that I had them.
I hope you all enjoyed this chapter! I did want to mention that I am not catholic, so I had to do some research on how their weddings normally go. Hopefully I didn't mess anything up or disrespect the religion as that was not my heart!
