Gosh guys, this past two months have been just crazy! My young cousins have gone home, but now I'm dealing with so much family drama, and just trying to keep my head above water, ya know.
But because of all the stress going on I have been writing a lot to get out of my head and I really enjoyed writing this chapter.

Chapter 18
Edward POV December
Since we left Chicago the month and a half seemed to have flown by. When we got home Alice and Jasper got started on looking for a new place, while I worked on renting out my condo or to just sell it and be done with it. It's not like I would ever need the condo again.
Alice and Jasper found a three bedroom home near the neighborhood where my parents lived. It was closer to both of their jobs in Seattle, but the house was a new build and wouldn't be ready till mid February and the baby is due in March so they will be cutting it pretty close, but Allie is excited about it all. They had a little gender reveal thing on thanksgiving and found out they are expecting a little girl!
I'm gonna have a little niece and I can't wait to meet her. Jazz and Alice decided to keep her name a secret, partly because they want to keep it to themselves and partly because Allie can't decide on a name and keeps changing her mind. Now she just wants to meet her first. Something about putting a face to the name.
Today I was on my way to pick up Mase from my moms house. This past weekend Bella and I celebrated our six month anniversary, and Esme kindly offered to watch him for us so we could spend the weekend together. Christmas was just right around the corner and we barely have had any time together since we got home from Chicago so it was much needed. Bella had a parent, teacher meeting tonight so I offered to pick Masen up for her.
It's quite insane that I've already been dating Isabella for half a year. Only six more months and I will propose to her. We both agreed that we wanted to get the first year under our belts before we started thinking about marriage. I mean I am thinking about it. But I can't help it, I'm so ready to start my life with Bella and Masen.
Bella's ring was coming along nicely. Me and Masen drove to Seattle a few weeks back and gave our final sketch of the ring and then we just wait. It's going to be awhile before we can actually get the ring. The lady is a little backed up on custom orders and because she's taking apart two other rings to make Bella's it's going to take some time.
I'm spending a big chunk of my inheritance money from my Nana, but this is an important part of my life. I promised myself when I got that money, I would save it for the future and Bella is my future.
I smiling thinking of my Bella. She has turned into a little sex kitten. Sometimes she's worse then me, she is always finding ways to get me alone, whether it be pulling me into an empty closet or hot touches under the table. Or my personal favorite, when she slowly slips her toes up my leg and wiggles her toes against my ever hardening cock. Little vixen.
I shift in my seat, trying to take my mind off Bella and her sexy ways. I move my focus onto my parents long drive way up to the wooded house on the hill. I spotted Masen's small figure in the window waiting for my car and waving at me once he's spotted it. My smile grew as I parked my Volvo and stepped into the gravel driveway.
"My Eddie!!" Masen yelled running down the steps and not watching his feet. I watched in horror as his red converse catches on the stairs and he comes tumbling forward face first with nose scraping the concrete as he went. "Shit" I gasped running forward, my mom came rushing out the front door yelling for Carlisle.
I reached Mase pulling him into my arms and hugging him tightly. He was crying so hard that he couldn't catch his breath. Blood was pouring from his little nose, those big brown eyes wide and terrified. "Eddie, my nose hurts" he cried, clutching my suit jacket in his hands. "It will be alright, grampy is gonna take care of it" he sounded like he had a stuffed up or if you were pinching the bridge of your nose. I was definitely worried about it being broken.
I hushed him softly trying to get him to calm some. "It will be okay, baby boy" Esme told Masen smoothing his hair down. Dad had me carry him into his office. I laid him down on the bed but his hands tightened on my jacket and he whimpered something I couldn't understand. "It's alright, Maser. I'm right here we just need to check you out"
My father came forward with his bag of supplies and lots of gauze. He gently pushed Masen back to lay down on his back and began carefully wiping away blood smears away.
Masen big brown eyes stayed on me, his hand incased safely in mine as Carlisle poked and prodded his poor little nose. "I don't like this Eddie, we stop now?" Masen whispered trying to pull away from Carlisle, his cries starting again.
"I know buddy, but Grampy is just trying to make it all better. Just hold still for a bit longer. Focus on me bud" I leaned down and we talked about what he did this weekend and what he wanted for Christmas this year, he was quick to let me know he wished for a big boy bike for Christmas, and you bet your ass he's gonna get one.
He laid perfectly still while we got the blood to stop flowing. Thankfully his nose was not broken, but he got a pretty nasty scrape and the beginnings of a black eye.
He's going to break Bella's heart, once she saw him. Mom gave him some kids Tylenol with an small ice pack for his nose. "I wanna go home now" I looked down at him as he laid on the couch and nodded. We should probably be going anyway. I scooped him up off the couch being careful not to toss him around to much.
"Thanks again for watching him mom and dad. I guess I'll see you Friday." I waved goodbye and carried Mase to the Volvo, putting him in his car seat. "I please watch paw patrol video on your phone Eddie?" He asked so politely giving me those puppy dog eyes.
"I guess, but only this once alright?" I unlocked my phone and put on his show. "Thanks!" I was planning on calling Bella on the way home, but she probably wouldn't have answered anyway, she's always very busy at these meetings.
Masen stayed quiet the whole drive home. I'm honestly kinda glad I gave him my phone or else he would have fallen asleep on the ride and Carlisle wants him to stay awake for at least an hour. We didn't see him hit his head at all, but just in case we wanted to be on the safe side.
"Eddie is Mama gonna be home when we gets there?" Masen voice came from the back seat his eyes meeting mine in the mirror. "Probably not Mase. Mom is gonna be at work for another hour or so. We're going to go home and take a bath and start some dinner for so Mama doesn't have to worry about that" Masen nodded going back to the video playing on my phone.
"Eddie?" He met my eyes once again waiting for me to answer. "Yeah, buddy?" He gave me a toothy grin and said. "I love you, Eddie!" I smiled, wishing I wasn't driving so I could give him a hug. "I love you too Masen! So much that it hurts" His eyebrows crinkled and he tilted his head slightly.
"I hurting you!" He cried. I bite my tongue to fight off a laugh. "No Masen, you are not hurting me son." I chuckled. "I just love you so much that and my heart is so full that it hurts. Not a real hurt...I don't know honestly. It's just a saying" I shrugged. "My nose doesn't hurt anymore" I raised my eyebrow glancing at him. "That's really good, just let me know if it starts hurting alright"
The rest of the drive home was pretty quiet. I played some Kasper Schill on the radio and Masen ended up turning off the video on the phone and switching over to some game he had apparently downloaded on a previous day.
I parked my car in front of the garage that was used more as storage then a garage. Bella is a bit of a pack rat when it comes to Masen's baby stuff or things he has grown out of and even all of his drawings. I'm screwed if me and Bella have any more kids as Masen has already filled almost our entire garage and he's only three!
I couldn't help but me a little excited about the thought of a baby girl with Bella's chestnut brown hair and heart shaped face. I wonder what Mase would think about a little baby, he's Bella's baby and he knows it, everyone knows it. I don't know if Bella would want more kids, I am just now realizing that we haven't discussed this yet.
"Come on buddy" I told him unbuckling his seat. Masen handed me my phone back so he could finish unbuckling. My phone had a few texts that Masen had swiped away.
Had some parents get off work late, but should hopefully be here soon! I'm sadly still going to be late, well even later then I thought. Sorry baby, I'll make it up to you ;-) give Masen my love.
-Bella
I closed Bella's message and opened the next one.
How's my grandson? I feel so bad for that poor baby. Has the pain went away yet? Your father said he can have more Tylenol at 8:00, but only if he needs it.
-Mom
I responded to both of them and sent my mom a picture of Masen with a big grin. I would have sent the same to Bella but I don't want her to freak out when she see his nose or his blood stained T-shirt.
I got the door unlocked and Mase ran inside straight to the bathroom. Chuckling I flipped on the light making my way to the bathroom.
Masen was back to his normal self by the time we got home. He took a nice long bath, playing with all of his toys. He wanted to pick out his jammies tonight and insisted on putting them on all by himself. I left him alone in his room and told him to holler if he needed me.
In the kitchen I was cooking one of the frozen meals Bella makes at the beginning of each month so she doesn't have to worry about cooking a big meal each night when she's tired after working all day. I asked her to start writing directions down on the top, how long to cook them and what temperature they needed. That way I am able to help out with the cooking.
I had just finished mixing the salad when the front door opened and Bella stepped inside. She was wearing a painfully tight pencil skirt with a poof blush pink blouse, her long brown hair was pinned up with a claw-clip thingy. She looked like a teenage boys wet dream.
"Hey there, pretty lady" I said as Bella approached me. Her lips met mine and she relaxed in my embrace, letting her hands tangle in the hair at the nap of my neck. "Mmmm, I've missed you today" Her words were just barely a whisper against my lips.
"I've miss you too, love" I kissed her once more before pulling away from her. "Where's Mase-" Bella's words were cut off as Masen came running in the room and attached himself to her legs. "Speak of the devil" I muttered.
Bella placed her hands on Masen's back and squeezed him to her. "Hi baby boy. I missed you so much!" Bella leaned down and picked him up. I winced waiting for her to freak out. But all that left her mouth was a small gasp. "Oh my goodness, Masen! What happened to your face" Bella looked over at me clearly waiting for me to explain, but Masen jumped in first.
"I was walking down the steps, Mama and I was so excited to see Eddie that I forgot to look at my foots" he frowned. "I slipped down the steps and got a big ouchie on my nose and it was bleeding like so much, Mama" Bella carefully placed a kiss very gentle kiss on Mase's nose telling him how sorry she was that he fell.
"Carlisle was there, baby and he got the bleeding to stop quickly and it's not broken. He's just going to have a pretty nasty cut and the bruising under his eyes, but they will go away in a few days" Bella just nodded her eyes checking out Masen's whole face.
"My poor baby, got your Mama's clumsiness. I'm really sorry" Masen just shrugged not really caring about what happened anymore. He started wiggling wanting to get down, and Bella did as he wished and sit him on his feet and watched as he took off to the toys in the corner.
"I was going to call and tell you what happened, but Masen wanted my phone on the drive home and I didn't want to say no, plus my father said to keep him awake for at least an hour just in case" I rambled on. This is the first time Masen ever got truly hurt in my care and I guess this is just a freak accident and could have even happened to Bella, but I didn't want her to think that I wasn't capable of handling the situation with Masen.
"Edward, my love it's alright. This stuff just happens with little kids. Especially when they're clumsy like their mother" She sighed. Bella reached her arms up and wrapped them around my neck and gave me a soft kiss. "You did good Daddy. Stop worrying" I gasped at her words, my eyes immediately getting teary. I felt my shoulders relax and my breathing calmed down. Bella must have noticed because she held me a little tighter tilting her head up to look at me.
"Thank you so much, Isabella. You have given me everything a man could ask for and more" I told her my thogSadly we pulled apart as the over timer went off. Bella left and went to her room to change out of her work clothing and I finished up dinner and got to work on plating our food. "Masen can you come and put silverware and napkins on the table please"
"Sure! I is a big boy now right?" He asked skipping over to the table. "The biggest and the bestest boy ever!" Smiling he went over to the pile of everything he needed on the table. Bella was wanting him to start learning some responsibility and we learned that he does an excellent job at setting the table and making his bed. Is it perfect? No, no it's not but that's alright.
Mase finished the table and ran off the find Bella to let her know everything was ready. While he was busy with that I set our plates down and put the dishes of food in the center of the table in case anyone wanted seconds.
Bella walked into the kitchen with Masen on her hip. She came to stand right in front of me, her toes almost touching mine. "You need to thank, Eddie for cooking us dinner. Baby love" Bella told Masen all while looking at me and smiling. "Thank you, Eddie" Masen said leaning towards me, wrapping his small arms around my neck and holding me tight.
"You're welcome, Buddy. Even if all I did was reheat our dinner and put some sauce on a bag of lettuce" I chuckled. I never would have thought six months ago that I would be standing in the kitchen with two people that I loved more then anything else in the whole world. More then I even knew was possible to love someone.
I kissed both Bella and Masen's cheeks and moved us to the table. Bella put Masen in his booster chair and I pushed his plate and cup a little closer. "Thank you, Mama" he said with a sweet grin, this boy really knew when to put it on thick.
"You are welcome, my sweet boy" After saying grace over the meal we all dug into our chicken casserole. Masen ended up having three helpings and was quite stuffed by the end of the meal, but that didn't stop him from having a chocolate pudding cup with whipped cream for dessert.
Bella put on Masen favorite movie, well his current favorite. Bolt. The kid was obsessed with that little dog and could watch the movie over and over if Bella let him. The crappy part is that he wants a stuffed Bolt dog but the movie came out in 2008, so it's not like there is a lot of toys from that movie around anymore.
While Maser was occupied with his movie I started loading the fish washed while Bella started putting away the leftovers and sweeping up the mess from Masen's eating dinner, he's still getting used to eating at the table like a big kid.
"Hello all!" Alice announced as she walked through the door with Jasper on her heels. At six months pregnant you would not know that Alice was even pregnant but she wore tight fitting shirts to show the little bump she had. Alice was probably the first pregnant woman to actually want a big baby belly and be sad to have such a small stomach over half way through her pregnancy.
"Hey Allie, hey Jasper" I said waving at them. Jasper was carrying pizza box in one hand and Alice bag and his briefcase in the other. Bella stepped around the island and took the pizza out of Jasper hand and sit it on the counter. "You know, you can let her carry a few things Jazz. She's pregnant, not elderly" Bella said with a laugh. Alice stood beside Bella nodded her head with her hands on her hips.
Jasper shrugged looking a little guilty. "Sorry, darlin I just don't want you falling or putting yourself at risking over something as silly as a pizza box. I'm probably being overprotective, but your my wife and I love you Alice. That's why I'm always trying to keep you safe." Jasper sighed ending his speech, his head was down as he looked at his cowboy boots.
"Oh Jazzy, how could I ever be mad at you! I love you, my overly protective Cowboy" Alice wrapped her arms around Jasper and I turned away from them. The last thing I wanted to watch was my baby sister suck face with Jasper. Gross.
"So Bella how did that parent teacher thing go tonight?" Alice asked Bella. While she waited for Bella to respond she picked up a slice of pizza smothered in mushrooms and pepperoni. You would think this is one of those pregnancy cravings but this is just Alice, she has eaten this pizza since she was ten years old. It's disgusting and how she eats it, I will never know.
"Yeah it was alright, all of my students and parents were awesome, but I called that Maddie's girl's parents because I've been worried about her as she hasn't been at school, but her teacher was not giving me any updates on her wellbeing, probably because she had no idea and probably has not even checked in on the poor girl" Bella sighed.
"Her parents came in without her and both of them looked exhausted. Maddie was indeed very pregnant by the time her parents found out. Sadly since Maddison was not caring for herself properly during her pregnancy she lost the baby" Alice gasped, tears filling her icey blue eyes.
"I know it's terrible. Maddison's parents decided it would be best for her to get a fresh start, so they moved her to Miami to live with her aunt and their family there. Maddie was in agreement with this and didn't want to see the people who knew she was pregnant and definitely didn't want to see the baby's father"
That poor girl. I couldn't imagine what she could possibly be going through right now. Getting pregnant at 15 then to hide the pregnancy and lose the baby because of it. I wish she would have spoken to Bella sooner and gotten the help they both needed.
"That's so sad" Alice sniffed, wiping the tears off her cheeks. "I hope that her family stays by her side and is good to her. Maybe she will find a good man one day and have a nice life" We all agreed with Alice. This Maddison needed some good and happiness in her life. To bad she left the state, we could have helped. All of us could have.
We all hung around the island and talked about our day and how work had gone. Jasper worked at a vet office for large animals, such as horses, cows, pigs etc. He always had pretty interesting and sorta intense work story's. Today he just worked at one farm all day waiting on a Mama cow to give birth, just to miss half of it when he finally stepped away to eat some lunch. Luckily the farmer there knew what to do and was able to handle everything before Jasper got back.
Allie owned her own boutique close to Seattle and she met all kinds of people everyday. She worked on high end celebrity and a lot of her clothing ended up on fashion shows. I was quite proud of how far my sister had taken her business. We were all a little worried she started that, but she's does amazing. She opened her first boutique in Arizona, and now has opened her second here in Seattle. Alice used to fly out to AZ often to check up on the shop, but how that she's pregnant and no longer able to, her personal assistant does it for her, so it all works out in the end.
Around nine, Bella put Masen to bed while I took a shower and got ready for bed. They wanted to have some time alone together, after being apart all weekend. I completely understood and gladly left them alone and made myself busy.
Alice and Jasper had locked themselves away in their room after they ate their dinner, wanting to also spend some time together. Alice got tired super early nowadays and half the time was passed out way before, Masen even went to bed.
Bella was sitting on the bed all cozy under the covers, writing in her journal. She was wearing her silk pajamas, the thin pink tank top hiding very little of her beautiful body. Feeling my gaze her brown eyes met my green ones. I felt my length hardened at the sight of her...How she was all mine? I had no clue, but damn was I thankful.
"I know that look, But you are gonna be disappointed sweetheart. I gotta call a time out" I groaned flopping myself onto the bed beside her. Whenever, Bella called a "Time out" that meant that she had gotten her period and all sexy fun time would cease for a week.
"I actually wanted to talk to you about something, Edward" My eyebrows furrowed, as I tried to remember if I had done anything to upset her. We had a wonderful weekend together and she hasn't seemed off or bothered at all. I pushed myself up and leaned against the headboard, giving her my full attention.
"I'm all yours, Princess" She smiled putting her journal away in her bedside locker. "I wanted to talk about our Christmas plans. Me and Masen normally go stay at a cabin at lake crescent with my family, but I wasn't sure what your plans were or if you wanted to come with us" Bella twisted her fingers nervously, like I would want to spend a holiday away from my two favorite people, no way.
"That sounds good with me, Bella. I want to be wherever you two are at. We already did thanksgiving with my family, so it would be fair to spend Christmas with your family. Plus I haven't been to lake crescent in years!" Actually now that I was thinking about it, my parents have a lake house up in crescent right on the lake. It was beautiful and we wouldn't have to worry about renting a cabin.
"You know, my parents have a lake house up there. We used to go stay the whole summer up there when I was a teenager, I'm sure my parents would happily let us use it. I mean we couldn't swim or anything but it's a beautiful home" Bella's face lit up as she jumped on me and started kissing all over my face.
"That's such a good idea, Edward! Masen would love that and I'm sure my dad can still get to his fishing spots from the house" I was so happy to see her happy. That was all I ever wanted for us, for her. Six more months and I can ask her to be my wife and I will never have to leave her or Masen ever again. We will spend every holiday together, no matter where we may be.
"It is going to be amazing, Isabella. Just wait till you see the kitchen in this house you will love it! And there is a huge backyard that Masen can run around in till his heart's content." If possible, Bella's smile grew even wider as she leaned down to kiss me. "Ughhh, these stupid periods" She sighed throwing herself back into to bed. Her breast bounced with each moment and I cursed myself for even looking.
"We will survive this week, baby. Even though it's always the longest week ever!!" I tucked myself into her side, pressing my face against the breast. The perfect pillows. "I love you, Bella" She sighed as I felt her stomach muscles tighten as she leaned down to kiss the top of my head. "I love you too, Edward so much." Her face lingered there for awhile before she pulled away and turned off her light.
"Sleep my love. We can talk more about Christmas tomorrow" Bella wrapped her arms around me tight and we both fell into a deep sleep.
I wanted this chapter to be longer, but I just liked the way it ended here. It was mainly a filler chapter anyways.
Next chapter will be Christmas Eve and Christmas Day so be looking forward to that! After that I would like to do a few months time jump but I'm not sure just yet.
Hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July and are staying cool if you are living in a hot state: I'm in AZ and practically melting over here!
Till next time~Jade
