After Aiolus left, Saori found herself hungry. She hadn't eaten since the assault and it had at least been 24 hours. She looked at the time and it was almost noon. It would be too hot for her to go outside and the sun would be too strong for her skin. Looked like she had to order a takeout.

"When you were unconscious on the ground," Seiya spoke, interrupting her thoughts. "I was the one who went to the hospital with you. I took you home after you got discharged, and stayed by your side for hours. But you still prefer Aiolus."

He sounded disappointed and even hurt.

Saori found him hard to get. "What are you saying?"

"I'm trying to protect you, but you don't believe in me," Seiya went on. "When I told you not to talk to the cops without a lawyer, you did this to me." He showed her the scratch marks on his arm. "Then Aiolus told you the same thing, but you believed him. I'm sorry I'm just a street kid, not a handsome lawyer wearing a suit and tie."

"You don't know what I've been through," Saori said. "You think I'm an oversensitive princess because I live in a mansion. You think that I look down at you, but it's you who think that you are better than me."

"You wouldn't survive a single day on the street."

"I'll do just fine," Saori retorted back. "I got nails." Then suddenly, strong sentiments of loneliness and sadness came to her. She tried hard to hold back her tears. "Aiolus–"

"Here we go again," Seiya was very annoyed. "Aiolus. Ever since the day I met you, you say that name every five minutes."

"Aiolus lost his parents when he was a teenager. His ungrateful brother Aiolia didn't appreciate him despite everything he had done for him. I don't even know who my real parents are. I could've been a street kid like you, but I got luckier. Sometimes I wish that I could have a brother like Aiolus."

"You mean–"

"My dad is not my real dad. He adopted me."

Seiya glanced around the living room, and saw a framed picture of Saori and Alman Kido. He went closer to the picture and saw how Alman smiled with his arms around Saori, who was probably twelve or thirteen at the time.

"I don't believe you," Seiya said.

"Believe whatever you want, and honestly, I don't care. I'm going to order something to eat."

"What are we ordering?" Seiya asked her, as Saori read through the Greek diner's take-out menu for at least fifteen minutes.

"I'm ordering for myself," Saori replied. "You are not getting anything. You quit, remember?"

"I did not," Seiya said. "I took a break to give you time to consider if you want a different bodyguard."

Saori rolled her eyes.

"Look, it says here that you have to order at least $20 for delivery," Seiya pointed out. "Your usual dish doesn't add up."

"I'll order two dishes, one for today and one for my next meal."

"Really? You don't eat leftovers. You want the freshest salad."

Saori looked away but called the diner to order her soup and salad and a steak for Seiya.

"Can you add ice cream too?" Seiya asked.

When the food arrived, Seiya insisted that he answer the door, as if there were a bunch of terrorists or hitmen who could show up at any time.

They ate together in the dining room.

"Mother kept her fridge locked all the time," Saori began. "The only time I got to eat at all was dinner time when Dad was there. It went on for months until Dad found out. Ever since then I kept my appetite small, just in case it happens again. I live in this mansion, but nothing in this mansion is mine. Things got better after my parents split, but I live everyday like walking on eggshells."

"You are eighteen, aren't you?"

"I am."

"Then you are a legal adult. You can live on your own if you want to."

"I spent my eighteenth birthday alone," Saori told him. "Dad and Tatsumi left before I turned eighteen. Once Dad returns, I will tell him that I'm moving out, especially now it's not even safe anymore."

"How long has that guy Cassius been harassing you?"

"Months, but it could be longer than that," Saori said. "After Mother moved out, Tatsumi – my Dad's bodyguard – found him sneaking around this mansion. Once, Dad used a rifle to scare him away. After Dad left the town, Cassius became more aggressive."

"Try some ice cream," Seiya offered it to her. "It'll make you feel better."

"No," Saori pushed it back to him. "Too many cal–."

Before she could finish, she found herself choking on an olive. She grabbed a napkin and coughed forcefully, but it only got worse.

"Hey, are you okay?"

Saori tried to speak but she could barely breathe. It was not until Seiya wrapped his arms around her and with five upward inward thrust that she was able to spit the olive out.

After she could breathe again, Saori muttered, "I really need to get out of this house."

"Worry about that later. Get your restraining order against Cassius first."

His arms were still around her.

To file a restraining order could be simple or complicated, depends on the circumstances. Either way, it was not a typical case that an attorney like Milo would be interested in. However, because his new boss Aiolus assigned it to him, he had to take it.

Milo wasn't not much of a talker. He never saw his clients as his friends. Among his associates, he was the one who wrapped up the case the fastest. After Shion retired from the firm, Aiolus took over as the senior partner. Although Aiolus was a very capable attorney and role-model, in Milo's opinion, he cared too much. One conversation that'd take Milo five minutes would take Aiolus about an hour. Aiolus' best friend and associate Shura was not that much different. From time to time, he would have these one-to-one conversations with Aiolia, advising him on legal matters and family issues. Aiolia, of course, was rather annoyed with Shura's meddling. Mu was the only associate whom Milo could relate to.

With the number Aiolus provided, Milo called his new client Saori Kido.

The conversation was very short. After she told him about the assault, he told her that he will speak to the authorities on her behalf. He also asked her if she wanted to file a lawsuit for pain and suffering, to which she declined, saying that all she wanted was for that assailant to leave her alone.

Done.

That was easy.

And a bit of a waste of his time.

The night fell and Saori was ready for bed. She went to the window to look at the stars.

"You should stay away from the windows," Seiya said. "It's not safe."

Saori turned around and a chill went down her spine after seeing Seiya standing in front of her without his shirt on. It was obvious that he had showered since his hair was wet.

"What are you doing here?" She tried to keep a straight face. "You don't sneak into a girl's room like this."

"My sister and I used to share a room before we went to a group home," Seiya said. "It didn't bother her."

"You have a sister? What's her name?"

"Seika."

"Where is she now?"

"She's a teacher. She doesn't talk to me anymore, not after I got into trouble from street fights."

"Sorry, but at least you have a sibling," Saori said as Seiya closed the window and the curtains. "I never said that you can stay here."

"What if something happens to you?"

As hard as she tried, Saori couldn't stop peeking at Seiya, especially his muscular arms. Never in her life had she seen a man shirtless before – besides the Greek statues and Renaissance paintings.

"Fine," Saori said, giving him a playful punch in the chest. "I'll go by your way but only until the restraining order against Cassius is complete. Milo said that it shouldn't take long."

She settled in her queen-sized bed and threw Seiya a pillow so that he can sleep on the floor. She turned off the light, but she couldn't sleep at all.

"Why didn't you believe me when I said I'm adopted?"

"The way your Dad smiled in that picture," Seiya said.

"I'm going to prove you wrong. Mother said that I'm only an agreement, or whatever that means. There was another time that she called me an accident. Sometimes at night, I count the stars and trace the constellations. Sagittarius and Pegasus got wings. I dreamed they could take me out of here and fly somewhere far away, maybe back to my homeland Greece. You know Aiolus is Sagittarius?"

"CAN WE PLEASE HAVE A CONVERSATION WITHOUT MENTIONING AIOLUS?"

"Fine, which constellation are you? I'm a Virgo."

"I'm a December kid so I guess I'm a Sagittarius too."

"What day in December? You could be a Capricourn."

"December 1st."

"Then are you a Sagittarius."

"Good night, Princess."

"Night, jerk."
