Hashimoto Family Offices, Shinjuku, Tokyo, August 6th 202X, 06:30 AM

A light rain had fallen over Tokyo, one which Hana didn't appreciate. Her cigarette lay in her mouth unlit as she waited outside the monolithic office building which the Hashimoto occupied. Not only was the rain inhibiting her ability to light up, but the Shinjuku City area prohibited smoking outdoors. Hana felt it was ironic, considering the amount of yakuza gangs and petty criminals in the area completely dominated the police in terms of numbers and a group like the Hashimoto had the cops in their back pocket. Nobody could come close to them, and yet they obeyed the laws that they thought kept harmony in society. Hana didn't care though, she just wanted her fix, looking down at her watch impatiently as her suit jacket started to take on more moisture from the wind blowing the rain in on her. Hiromi was late despite being the one who told Hana to arrive at the office first thing in the morning. Hana had to hide her frustration though, fearing Hiromi would give her another "punishment". It cost Hana a lot of money to get her suit cleaned in such a short period of time and she wasn't in the mood to have to go through that again so soon. After about five more minutes had passed, Hiromi, the office secretary and her driver arrived at the building. The secretary stepped out with his umbrella and held it out over Hiromi's head as she disembarked the large black Lexus in which they arrived.

"Ahh Hana-chan, good morning. Sorry to keep you waiting in such poor weather but you know how traffic can be in the Tokyo Metropolis after all!" she said with a smile as Hana bowed to her master.
"Good morning Hashimoto-sama. I am sorry to hear of the issue with traffic, but I suppose it cannot be helped. I hope you slept well last night."
"Indeed I did, Hana-chan" she said as the three of them (the driver had gone to park the car) walked into the building. The secretary took his position at the front desk behind a computer as Hana and Hiromi got into the elevator, Hana standing in front of Hiromi with one hand on her concealed katana, just in case something was waiting for them on the other side of the elevator door. The chance for an assassination attempt was "never a flat zero percent", as she was once told by Kuriyama.
"Oh Hana-chan, relax. I appreciate your loyalty but I can assure you nobody is here other than us…quite intimate, don't you think?" said Hiromi with a playful wink. Hana smirked, but quickly regained her focus as the elevator came to a stop at the top floor. The door opened and Hana exited first, using all of her enhanced senses - thanks to Talon - to examine the corridors around her in great detail.
"All clear" she said, motioning Hiromi out of the elevator with her hand. Hiromi chuckled at how seriously Hana was taking her job. She knew that the office had an impenetrable security system and any intruders would be detected in mere microseconds with the complexity of the alarm systems. Hana was always prepared though. She needed to be, after all Hiromi was her only way to achieve her dreams. If anything were to happen to her…

"I promised I would protect you with my life, master" Hana said, easing up and lighting her cigarette as they walked into Hiromi's private office. Hana closed the door behind Hiromi and closed over the blinds, ensuring that nobody from any angle anywhere could see their business.

"So, you managed to find the prodigy doctor, one Angela Ziegler herself. Hana-chan, you continue to surpass every expectation I ever had for you" said the boss, sitting down with Hana sitting across from her at the large oak desk. Hana quickly fumbled through her bag, angling her head to make sure no ash from her cigarette got into it, before procuring a small file with a few A4 sized pages in it. She opened it, scanning the papers with her eyes quickly to ensure it was the right document and upon confirming it she handed the papers over to Hiromi.

"Thank you Hashimoto-sama, I am most grateful to hear those kind words I don't deserve to hear from a lady of such high stature such as yourself." Hiromi chuckled as she began to read through Hana's plans for their operation, scheduled to take place tomorrow, Friday, August 7th.

OPERATION SAKURA;

Objective: Capture the mother of our outstanding debtor Kiriko Yamagami, Asa Yamagami, to lure out K. Yamagami into paying her debts. Capture Angela Ziegler, either to use with our own forces or as a powerful bargaining chip in future negotiations with Talon.

Operatives: Jun Kuriyama, Hana Song, Hiromi Hashimoto, selected members of lower ranking officers of Hashimoto-sama and Kuriyama-san's choosing.
Target(s); Asa Yamagami & Angela Ziegler

Overview: At 7:00 AM, Kuriyama-san and a small group of his choosing (max 3 officers) will capture Asa Yamagami on her way to work from Kanezaka to Chiyoda.
This will be relatively easy as Kanezaka is firmly under Hashimoto territory. During recent studies, Yamagami goes to work by herself and the early time of day ensures that a capture will be unnoticed by anyone in the area. The expected fog tomorrow, brought about by today's rainstorm, will ensure that we have good cover to carry out this operation. We will use force if we must, both on Yamagami and any witnesses.

Angela Ziegler will be in Ueno. Intelligence gathered suggests she is not alone at her location. We will need to lure out whoever else is there and capture Ziegler alive. Hana Song will provide a distraction for the others at her location at the Hanamura Garden & Memorial Centre. Hashimoto-sama will lead the capture operation at the location in Ueno. This part of the operation will commence at precisely 3PM, to cause any potential disarray possible into our enemies intelligence fields. We will then hold the targets at the Hashimoto offices in Shinjuku. If any issue arises at the offices that prevents us from keeping them there sustainably, we will transfer them to the new Memorial Building in Hanamura.

The ultimate end goal is to lure out Kiriko Yamagami, last seen in the Ueno area as recently as yesterday. She owes our family a debut of almost a million yen. This cannot go unsettled as we will need this funding for the upcoming [REDACTED] with our allies in Talon. Ziegler will also prove useful in this regard, whether she needs to be forced or not is up to Hashimoto-sama to decide.

Operation commissioned by: H. Hashimoto
Planning by: H. Song

"It looks solid enough Hana-chan, but I have one tiny little request for you to make before distributing this among our officers," Hiromi said, pulling out a red pen and underlining two specific parts before handing the file back over to Hana.

"You have an issue with Kuriyama-san?" asked Hana.
"Change his title to Kuriyama-kun. Let him know his insolence from the other day won't be forgotten so easily."
"Your wish is my command, Hashimoto-sama" Hana said while bowing. She then took another puff of her cigarette before making the amendments that Hiromi requested of her and then putting the file back into her bag.

"You seem eager to get this operation off the ground, Hana-chan. What's gotten you so motivated?" Hiromi asked as she turned on her desktop PC.
"It's…something that's getting me closer to a goal of mine, I guess" she said with a smile that Hiromi was intrigued by. It was one that she'd often seen Hana make when she was still new in the organisation, and Hiromi knew what it meant; Hana was thinking of her husband.

"So…he is involved in all of this?" Hiromi asked curiously.
"Oh, in more ways than you could possibly imagine, Hashimoto-sama" Hana-said as she stood up, taking one final long drag of her cigarette before extinguishing it in the ashtray on the oak table in front of her. "I should probably go and give these orders to Kuriyama and his men. Do you want me to pick your squad for tomorrow too?" Hana asked as she began walking towards the door.
"No, I'll pick my own. Oh, and Hana-chan…"
"Hmm?" said Hana, turning her head as she opened the door.
"Game on" Hiromi winked at her.
Hana gave her a soft smile before bowing and leaving the office behind her.

Finally she thought as she walked towards her own office. Finally, I am about to meet him again. This time under my terms. It's a risk for sure. I don't even know if he will turn up tomorrow…but if I know my husband, it's that he's one who always follows what his heart tells him. If he knew what I meant by that Letter from Silent Heaven, then he should be there. I'll be there. Waiting for him.

APA Hotel, Ueno, 11:00 AM

Jesse McCree's first day in Japan had gone even worse than he had expected it to. He expected his first meeting in years with Jonathan Cujoh to go rather tepidly, but it had gone worse than even his initial expectations. Jonathan's PTSD was a sharp reminder of his own baggage, he thought. He looked at the lipstick stained photo in his wallet once again, the white haired beauty's eyes gazing into his own with a beam of nostalgia, sadness and - ultimately - regret.
Ashe…I wonder what it would have been like if things were different all them years ago. A lot's changed in twenty years. I wonder what you would have been like if you were still 'ere with us. Prolly still fightin' with random guys n' gals at bars all over New Mexico, as you usually did. McCree rubbed his thumb against the stain on the photograph slowly. The waxiness of the lipstick made it feel like it was still somewhat freshly put there, like it was only yesterday they were drunkenly having sex in the back of her '68 Ford Mustang instead of going to their lectures.

I know I can't take back what I done, or go back to make sure you never left me but…I'm sorry. I'm sorry for not being there for you when yer ma' died. I'm sorry for not noticing when you just wanted yer own time. I'm sorry for not spending enough time with you. Most of all…I'm sorry for not being honest, even all these years later about who I really am.

The man once known as the Pale Rider took a deep breath and exhaled as he prepared to take a much needed shower, putting the picture back into his wallet. Unsure as to whether or not the water would wash away his worries, McCree stripped himself down and walked into the shower, preparing himself for what was sure to be another day filled with Angela's shouting, Hanzo's bad jokes and not knowing where to even begin looking for Hana Song. As the water ran down his face and through his hair, McCree could only think of one thing.

He sure missed American breakfasts.

Kitsune Koffee, Nippori, Tokyo, 14:40 PM

Jonathan Cujoh was dragged to work at a café - with zero experience - against his will by Kiriko Kamori. His attempts at refusing her wish to come to work with her were futile, and even though Kiriko said she would "promise she would make it up to him later", he still found the process of being a dishwasher to be utterly tedious. Scrub the plates. Clean the fryer. Wash the floor. Scrub the plates. Clean the fryer. Wash the floor. Wash the floor. Scrub the plates. Clean the fryer. Wash the floor. Wash the floor. Scrub the plates. Clean the fryer. Wash the floor.

Monotony didn't even begin to describe how he felt about it, but he knew that Kiriko was struggling by herself. Regardless of how busy it was at the café, her incredibly high standards for her product quality meant that she would spend up to an hour after she was meant to go home cleaning up the café and its equipment. With Jonathan here it would mean that she could - for once - go home on time. Kiriko knew that this wasn't a permanent solution, but it was nice to know that someone was helping her. She had been relying on herself this whole time the last few years. As she looked back into the kitchen area, seeing Jonathan struggle with tasks that were second nature to her by now, she couldn't help but smile at him. It reminded her of when she just started off working here, when business was good before the pandemic. Now though, corporations had taken over the other local cafés and despite lucrative offers from Tully's and Starbucks, Kiriko refused to let the owner of the café sell to them. She promised the owner that she would turn the place around if she was allowed to rebrand the café with her own style and menu. Kiriko wasn't as successful as she had hoped but she never quit. She couldn't afford to. Not now, not ever.
"Well, the "busiest" part of the day is over now I guess," Kiriko said, looking up at the clock above the counter. "I hope that Jonathan didn't find his job to be too boring…" she whispered to herself. She had been worried all day that Jonathan would hate her for making him do all the menial tasks in the back, but she thought it would be for his own good while also taking some of the pressure off of her back. Kiriko didn't know how she was going to make it up to him like she promised him, though. She couldn't treat him to a fancy dinner, and while she could cook a few things, a gourmet dinner wasn't something that was in her skillset. She couldn't afford to take him to some nice place like the TeamLabs Experience or Tokyo Skytree, and she was afraid that he'd seen all the free attractions the city had to offer. There was just over an hour left until the café's closing time, and with Jonathan taking care of the cleaning in the back, she could actually leave on time for a change. Shit, I got to think of something, and fast! Uhm…what about the park? No, he's probably been there before a million times. Maybe the Zoo? It's cheap but too crowded, that girl could spot him there and I'd have no way to defend him…who is she really anyway? Who the hell fakes their own death to get back with their ex? She could hardly outwit me though, she doesn't have the fox spirit on her side. She's just a fucking e-girl wannabe. She wouldn't know anything about how to handle herself in a real fight. Kiriko shook her head, she needed to refocus. It's no use thinking about her now. I've gotta focus on re-organising the stock for tomorrow…and think about how I'm gonna pay back Jonathan, she thought as her face wrinkled into an exasperated look.

It was going to be a long hour and twenty minutes in the mind of Kiriko Kamori.

Shimada Institute, Shinjuku, 15:40 PM

"Angela," Genji called out the Swiss doctor's name with a familiar tone. "You're running the DNA tests again?" he asked. Angela Ziegler was indeed fiddling with the DNA sample of Hana Song once again, but this time it was comparing the nanomachine particles found in her red blood cells. She was comparing it to that of the body that was in the accident seven years ago.
"I'm looking for something, Genji, but I'm not sure what…I feel like we're missing something. Something crucial. We don't know much about Jiyeon other than her relationship with Hana and her standing in the Korean pop industry…" she said, her curiosity fading as she opened another fresh PDF document, examining its contents closely.
"I don't get why Jiyeon would even agree to this," Genji said, handing Angela a cup of UCC instant coffee, a favourite of hers. "She'd take her own life so that Hana could hide out for seven years? What would Hana even gain from that? She has the Archaeon in her; one of the original two samples aswell. We're still testing it to see if there's anything different between her and the one we from from Lacro-"
"DON'T." Angela firmly said with a raised voice, taking Genji by surprise.
"Genji. Never mention that name near me. Ever." Angela said with a glare that would make an ice queen melt.
"Angela, you know I didn't mean anyth-"
"Just don't, okay?" she said with a forced smile, trying not to lose her cool with her current employer. "I've got to run these tests again. I need you to tell Hanzo that I'll be meeting him and Jesse tonightto discuss this with them. Right now I think they're both in central Tokyo meeting with a friend of theirs, something something Volskaya was her name. I can't remember."
"Ahh, the Russian conglomerate lady, Katalina Volskaya, yes I know her actually. She's a business partner of ours. I think Hanzo is doing a deal of some kind and he probably asked Jesse to be a witness for him. Hanzo doesn't really trust the Russians, though I can't really blame him these days" Genji said with a sigh. "I'll leave you to it, Angela. I'll see you later" he said with a half hearted smile. He turned around at the door, admiring the doctor from afar, thinking about how much she'd grown up since he first met her eight years ago.

"Angela…I'm sorry" he said to her, a look of regret evident on his sullen face. Angela took a small breath in and sighed.
"I'm sorry too…things are just stressful lately, and that's the last thing I need on my mind now, Genji. I'll see you later" she said, smiling back at him as he left the room. Angela slumped back into her chair, a wave of depression hitting her like a tsunami.
Just when I thought I'd forgotten all about Lena, Jack and Amelié…Genji, you idiot. You absolute idiot she thought as she began to uncontrollably sob at her desk, the memories of her former loved ones flowing through her mind's eye like teardrops in the rain, each moment more fleeting than the last. It was a pain Angela Ziegler had thought she repressed thanks to the solace she found in the men and women she slept with all over the world, their faces too began rushing through the racecourse of her mind at pace, before one final face flashed forward into her mental vision.

"Vivian…I'm sorry…" Angela whimpered out as her anguish became unbearable.

Hashimoto Office, 18:00 PM

"Kuriyama-san, have you decided on your squad for the operation taking place tomor-" Hana couldn't finish her sentence before she felt Kuriyama's fist punch her right in the face, though Hana barely flinched after the force of the impact passed through her.
"Oh, so now you call me "san" huh, you filthy Korean shithead? You think I didn't notice that fuckin' lack of respect that you threw in that file? Calling me "kun" like that? You're a fuckin' dog, Song. If Hashimoto-sama wasn't someone who played for her own team so to speak, you wouldn't even be here" he said to her in a quiet tone. "You're lucky you're so cute, otherwise she would have killed you on the spot when she caught you way back when. You're nothing without those looks and that fucked up brain of yours" he said with a snark as he began to walk away. "Oh yeah, I did pick out a few. Mitoma, Kojima and Arasaka. Tell that to Hashimoto-sama, after you clean yourself up of course, you piece of shit."

Hana stood still for a moment. This wasn't new to her. Kuriyama had always treated her like she was nothing, and indeed his words were probably true; if Hiromi didn't find her attractive, she probably would have had Hana executed all those years ago for breaking into their old office to try and steal money and a gun. Hiromi was a blessing to her though. She told Hana everything she needed to know about her true potential that Talon had - apparently, in Hiromi's words - blessed her with. It was because of The Widow's Kiss that Hana could do what she did seven years ago, and she wouldn't have known that if it weren't for Hiromi. Hana walked into the nearby ladies bathroom and looked at herself in the mirror. There was a minor bruise but it was nothing that make-up couldn't cover up. She took a deep breath and washed her face, before taking out her phone to text the details of Kuriyama's squad to Hiromi. It was important that everyone knew their roles for tomorrow's operation. Hana knew hers perfectly.

Tomorrow. 3PM. I know he'll be there. I better cover this up before then. I don't want him thinking I'm too reckless now, hehe. Oh, what a joyful moment it will be! Oh I can't wait to take in his face so close to mine, feel his aura around me again, smell his manly scent again…I wonder if he'll kiss me again! Oh, how heavenly and romantic that would be! But alas, I don't think that's going to be on the cards…unless I make it so, haha….Jonathan…

I've missed you so much. Your loneliness must be bearing down on you in ways I can't possibly imagine. I'm sorry for having to make you wait this long, but trust me, it was for the best. Just wait a few more hours for me, baby. I'll see you reaaaalllly soon! Hana thought with an audible giggle, toying with the scratched up silver ring on her left hand. Her laugh and tone was one that she hadn't heard from herself in many years.

That part of her that loved Jonathan Cujoh more than anything else.

That part of her that drove her to protect their love all those years ago.

Hana Song's true heart.

As Hana headed home for the evening, she began to feel excited about her mission, the first time she ever really did feel any kind of excitement whilst working for the Hashimoto.

JR Yamanote Line train, heading for Ueno, 16:15 PM

"The next stop is Otsuka, please change here for the Toei Toden Arakawa Line…" the announcer's voice called out over the intercom as the train approached its next station, punctual as ever. Jonathan loved the trains in Tokyo. Compared to the ones from the United States, the punctuality, cleanliness and efficiency of the trains in Japan were like those from another planet. Even after living in Tokyo for around eight years, the rail system still amazed him. He took a look down at his watch and began thinking to himself. So much is happening all at once. Like, is any of this for real…or not? He looked over at Kiriko standing beside him, browsing around some news app on her phone, who had kept her phone on Do Not Disturb for the past day. She figured that if any developments were to occur, Angela or Hanzo would text Jonathan instead of her. This girl had something about her, and not just in the ways he'd already felt. He knew she was a kind and honest person, but he still felt some kind of light uncomfortable familiarity about her, though he couldn't exactly put his finger on it. Tomorrow is Friday…that letter…Hanamura at 3PM, huh? Jonathan contemplated his options. I saw her with my own eyes on that day seven years ago. There's absolutely no way she'd still be alive, zero chance. I need to see for myself if that's true. If she's not there, then I have absolutely nothing to worry about. I know tomorrow's a holiday too, so Kiriko won't be working. Maybe I can preface it as a date or something?

"Hey, Kiriko…" Jonathan said in a quiet voice, to not disturb any of the other passengers in the car around him. Kiriko perked her face up in his direction. "Hmm?"
"You wanna head out somewhere tomorrow?" he asked. Kiriko smiled at him. "That would be nice, and to be honest I think that you deserve a little reward for your hard work scrubbin' the floor today, haha. What did you wanna do?" she asked.
"I was thinking of going to Hanamura, you know the historical gardens near Shibuya?"
"O-oh! Yeah, t-that sounds fun!" Kiriko said nervously. Jonathan couldn't help but notice the look on her face.
"I mean, if you don't wanna go Kiriko, it's fine with me."
"No, I do, it's just…" she leaned in to whisper to him. "...the Hashimoto run that whole section of the city" she whispered wearily into his ears. Jonathan felt like an idiot. Of course he knew that putting Kiriko at risk of being exposed to the Hashimoto was an idiotic idea. He'd have no idea on how to even protect her in that situation, but still, the uneasiness in his heart screamed at him to settle this situation with Hana - if she was even alive like the others said - once and for all.
"Well then, we can have you wear something that hides your face and stuff, like a mask and baggy clothes?"
"I-I guess so…as long as I'm with you, I guess I'll be fine" she said with a smile as the train finally began to slow down, approaching Otsuka Station. Kiriko was nervous but deep down, she couldn't have been happier to finally see Hanamura again after years of hiding away from it. It was a place she held dear to her heart, and a place that would be a perfect way to make Jonathan feel happy after all that happened yesterday. He's right…as long as I don't stick out too much, I'll be fine. There's nothing to worry about. Jonathan adjusted himself and his position on the train to allow the other passengers to disembark, and more to embark after. Some of them gave him a side eye, but he was used to it by now. I hate to be using Kiriko like this, but if something goes wrong, she's all I have to protect me from Hana…if she's really going to be there.

Kiriko slid her fingers alongside his as the train filled up with more people, pushing them closer together. He turned her body around so that her back was against his chest, a move that she was grateful for. Kiriko began to nod off, the effects of not getting much sleep last night were starting to catch up on her. She wasn't that upset over it though, after all, she felt like the experience her and Jonathan had the night before was worth the late wake up and rush to work (even if it meant having to get a breakfast at Family Mart). She closed her eyes as the rhythm of the train on the tracks provided a soothing melody for her to doze off to, the warmth of Jonathan's body acting almost like a heated mattress.

For just one brief moment, Kiriko felt like every worry she ever had had simply disappeared into nothingness.

Cujoh Apartment, Ueno, 18:45 PM

*knock knock knock knock* Jesse McCree had hoped that he wasn't too loud with his knocking, not knowing if a good ol' fashioned "american knock" (as he put it) would be too loud or not for the neighbours around these parts. After a few seconds had passed, a weary looking but still standing Angela Ziegler answered the door.
"Ah good, you're here. Come in Jesse, I've just made some tea" she said, beckoning him inside. McCree knew she'd clearly seen some better days. Angela's cheeks were red and her eyes were tired and bloodshot. Somethin' must've gone down with Genji earlier…did he make her this upset?
"Uhh, thanks for the text earlier Angela, about the meetin' 'n all? Hanzo appreciated it anyway, even if he couldn't come tonight. He's got to head back to the office, apparently Genji needed him on "urgent business" or somethin' like that. I sure hope he messaged Kiriko. Hanzo ain't that forgetful though, though I do remember this one time a few years ago he forgot to text a guy he was datin' at the time about a follow up...safe to say he screwed up that relationship '' he said, taking off his trademark hat and placing it on Jonathan's small kitchen table as Angela handed him a small cup of tea, before taking out a box from underneath the table.
"What's that?" he asked with curiosity.
"Jesse…do you remember that night, eight years ago; at Hana's house I mean" Angela said. McCree could never forget it. The sight of Angela being choked to death in the hallway, the hesitation he had fighting Hana and above all else, the bloodstained bedroom where an unconscious Jonathan was held captive.
"I…could never forget it, Ziegler" he said with a serious look in his eyes, leaning forward to grab his cup.
"I don't think any of us will ever forget what happened that day. Ever. That's why we gotta stick together, as partners, for better or worse"
"Well look, you…gave me something that night"
McCree instantly knew what she meant. His special piece, a present given to him over twenty years ago by a brash woman from Alabama because it just "felt like it would look good in his hands."
"Angela…I-"
"Jesse, things are heating up around here and even with the UN by your side, there's no way you'd be able to get something like this around here without having to go through some red tape that could risk your deportation…besides, I know what this means to you" she said, opening up the box revealing a six-piece shooter, a leather holster and some revolver ammunition.

Jesse McCree's old faithful revolver, the Peacekeeper, though the condition it was in left much to be desired. The barrel and cylinder were both dirty. She probably never touched it after I gave it to her, though I don't see any reason why she'd need a revolver. He took the gun into his hands, the grip feeling instantly at home in his hands. He looked down at the barrel's side, the words "forever yours, Ashe" were still engraved into it, though it was obscured by some of the dirt and grime. McCree flicked his wrist and checked the inside of the cylinder. Three bullets were left in the gun.
"...yer right, Ziegler" said McCree, flicking the cylinder back into place and spinning it, before placing it into its holster. "It's time I took her back from ye, fer better or worse yer right. Still though, I'm surprised you carried it with ye' all this time. You afraid of somethin'?"
"It's a last resort. You know I'm not a fan of violence." she said, sitting back into her chair and sipping at her tea.
"So what if you need to fight?" asked the cowboy.
"I'll stand my ground with my own hands and feet. If I die, I die." she said solemnly.
"Angela come on" McCree said in an uncharacteristically normal sounding American accent, lacking any sort of informal cowboy inflection. "You can't just say that, not after all you went through. You need to live, for everyone's sake. Bigshot, me, Hanzo, Fareeha….fuck it, even Lena too!" Angela looked at McCree with the venom of a thousand cobras shooting through her eyes, but McCree couldn't let it phase him.
"I don't care if you hate it being brought up, but Lena's dead Angela. She's been dead damn near a DECADE now. I know it hurt, I saw it too you know and she was my damn student and I shouldn't have let her get killed but what's done IS DONE, Angela." he said, standing up, taking the contents of the box with him.
"Nobody's going to love you if you keep feeling sorry for yourself over what happened. You need to learn to live with that pain and move past it" he said viciously, knowing he had to be frank with her to get through to her. "You never loved anyone after that because you were afraid that you were an omen but yer not an omen Angela, that depression weighin' you down is and you know it, it's leeching off of you like some kinda fuckin' parasite."
"Jesse…what ri…" she said quietly, barely audible. McCree wasn't having any of it though.
"Out with it, Ziegler, I can't hear you if yer moping to yerself over the-"
"WHAT FUCKING RIGHT DO YOU HAVE TO LECTURE ME ABOUT BEING UPSET OVER A LOVED ONE?! TWENTY YEARS, TWENTY FUCKING YEARS YOU'VE BEEN HUNG UP OVER THAT WOMAN! YOU NEVER EVER MADE TIME FOR ANYONE ELSE, NOT EVEN A FUCKING RANDOM HOOKUP! YOU LEFT EVERYTHING IN YOUR FUCKING HEART WITH HER! YOU DON'T EVEN FUCKING KNOW THAT HANZO CARES YOU YOU, DO YOU? AND NOW LOOK AT YOU, HOBBLING AROUND THE WORLD CHASING AFTER A GUY WHO DOESN'T EVEN RESPECT YOU BECAUSE YOU FEEL LIKE YOU FUCKING OWE IT TO HIM AND HIS MOTHER AFTER WHAT HAPPENED?! YOU….DON'T GET TO FUCKING LECTURE ME!"

McCree had never seen anything like this from Angela. It was a complete and utter snap of sense from her, like she'd been possessed by someone else.
"A-Angela, you don't know what it was like back then…it was-"
"Don't you DARE try to say it was different. I know what happened Jesse I read the FUCKING report from the UN about Elizabeth Ashe, the fucking Calamity herself" Angela's thick Germanic accent was thicker than it ever had been as she continued to lash out at McCree. "You were the one who had to kill her despite the fact you were engaged to her. Boo fucking hoo McCree. What's done is done!" she said in a mocking tone, mimicking McCree's words from earlier. McCree turned around to face the door, putting his hat back onto the top of his head.
"Ziegler…good luck" McCree said in a deadpan voice before leaving the apartment, leaving Angela all alone once again. Rage flowed through her veins, a fiery stare bore itself into the mirror as Angela looked into her reflection.

McCree had crossed a line that nobody other than Hana Song had ever crossed, and to Angela, it meant that it would be hard for him to get back on her good side.
