As for the relations between the Pirate World and the Guardians of the Unknown. Well if you've all read 'Kingdom Hearts II Guardians Of The Multiverse'. You know how things turned out here. Because the same thing happened with Orion and his team's visit to the Pirate World.
Plus this is before the sequel 'Dead Man's Chest'. For those of you who would like to connect that sequel. 👌😉
"I plan to not stick around when that happens. Davy Jones looks gross as ***k. He looks like the premium calamari dish got a F- from the Health Inspector. Ugh." Maveress quipped and shuttered. 😖
And as you all know. This is mostly about the added features of the Tangled episode 'Who's Afraid Of The Big Bad Wolf?'. 🐺
"Try not to say 'as you know' to anyone. It's a movie line that kills good writing." Maveress quipped.😏

But before we resume. Let's answer some comments.
RustyPete12: Thank you! Yeah this Tangled episode was a 'must have' for this story. And yeah they're definitely going to the world of Jack Sparrow. Oh don't worry. This isn't the last we've seen of Moon Knight. He's not in this chapter mind you. But that doesn't mean he won't be in future chapters. Especially all of the other marvel heroes I've introduced. Yeah I had to connect the marvel world's Giza. I figured an added backstory to the wolf curse should bring this into perspective. And yes! I am so glad Danielle the Maveress impressed you and everyone! GIRL POWER! Oh ummm well it never occurred to me to write any spin offs about the past Mavericks. But there might be some stories for the future. Besides if I did that, I would have to cover for Aiden and Connor's Mirrirverses. But if you have any ideas. I'll consider them for spin offs. And I'll more than likely just post them here. But I plan to release all my stories on Deviantart soon. Just as soon as I find the free time to do so. And yeah it was necessary to connect the events of KH II to what happened between Danielle and Claire. I'm glad to know it paid off. I figured the extra cutscene style of the KH games would find the backstory of Claire and Danielle to be warranted for the conversation at the end. So thank you. Who's Afraid Of The Big Bad Wolf? Part II
The next morning in Rapunzel's bedroom...
Rapunzel was sound asleep in her bedroom. As through the night she was looking forward to her next journey. She wasn't expecting anyone to disturb her. But she especially didn't expect a certain two year old toddler in a gray one piece PJs to come in and crawl up her bed.
Rapunzel stirred and groaned a little from the sun's rays hitting her face. But she was welcomed by an inviting sight to see little Varian. Her two year old adopted brother was sitting up on her bed staring at her.
"Awe, hi there, Varian. Did you come all this way to see me? Come here you." Rapunzel cooed with a warm smile as she picked up the little boy and held him in her arms. "You're such a smart little guy aren't you? And someday, you might just be even smarter than Ryan."
Varian liked being in his big sister's arms. During the entire time since Rapunzel's return. Varian had become acquainted with Rapunzel's presence and her as his big sister.
"You?" Varian chimed. As if you say if he was smarter than Rapunzel too.
"Yep. Even me someday." Rapunzel said with a big smile.
Varian gave a big bright smile which always seemed to brighten Rapunzel's day before he leaned up to kiss her on the cheek which was kinda sloppy given that he's a toddler. But Rapunzel always loved it.
Rapunzel let out a quiet squeal of delight at how cute her brother is.
"Oh you're so adorable. I love you so much." Rapunzel cooed. "And your baby kisses."
"Wuv you too, Rappy." Varian chimed in a whisper.
While they were hugging each other. Rapunzel heard a knock at her door. She turned to the door.
"Come in." Rapunzel called as she was hugging Varian.
Then Danielle was the one who came in wearing her keyblader attire.
"Hey, Zel. Everyone's waiting down at the lair. It's time to set sail and...I'd say it, but not in front of the munchkin." Danielle mused.
She wanted to say 'kick ass' obviously.
"Alright. I'll get ready and be down in a minute." Rapunzel said before she got up from her bed with Varian still in her arms.
"Okay. See you down below." Danielle nodded and walked out so Rapunzel could get ready.
This was it. Rapunzel was getting ready to blast off into space with Danielle and the crew to head towards the world of pirates and Jack Sparrow. If there is anything on the Werewolf curse. Their biggest clue was going to be in the world where the previous host lived.
Later down at the Mav Club hanger...
Drax. Rocket. Groot. Black Panther. Valkyrie. Eugene. Lance and Rapunzel were standing with Danielle and Claire as they walked the hanger's mechanical arms and cranes add the finishing touches to Danielle's gummi ship. The Thunder Bird.
A ship that looked just like Orion's current ship the Solar Flare. But with a different color scheme of white and black.
Lucas and Kara weren't there yet on account of both of them needing a few more minutes to wrap up training. But thankfully all Gummi Ship teleporters have the feature of letting passengers and newcomers arrive on a ship in the middle of space.
"Just as a quick reminder. For the sake of the World Order. Once we land in the pirate world. Each of us or rather, most of us will be getting a new outfit that will match with the inhabitants and environment." Claire reminded the group.
"As long as I won't smell like pickle herring. I can wear anything." Eugene crossed his arms confidently.
"What about a mustache?" Lance inquired.
"That too." Eugene deadpanned.
"Great. I can't wait to see what new look I'll be getting for this world." Rapunzel said with excitement in her voice.
"As long as I don't get anything cliche like an eye patch even though I don't need one. I'm good." Rocket stated.
"Odin has an eye patch." Drax pointed out.
"Because he needs one." Rocket gave Drax a ridiculing look.
"Actually your myths are mistaken. The All-Father never lost an eye." Valkyrie revealed.
"Really? Well, I didn't see that one coming." Rapunzel said with a shrug.
"It's true. The Avengers and I met him in person. He is much better than the myths say." T'challa stated.
"Though the case may be different in other universes across our web of reality. In my universe however. Midgard's myths are as close to my people's history as grass is to sand." Valkyrie declared.
"It makes you wonder what other differences there might be." Rapunzel said in thought.
Just then. The Thunderbird Ship was finished with its modifications and was stationed with its back entrance facing the group as it opened. Danielle and Claire stepped up to it first and led everyone on board.
Once everyone went up inside and was seated in the upper deck with Danielle and Claire seated in the main pilot seat. Danielle and Claire prepared thr ship for take off.
"For those of you that's not been to space before. My God have mercy on your flarken sanity." Rocket stated as Danielle launched the ship.
Then as the ship went up into the air and out of the hanger exit. Rapunzel cheered as the ride out never gets old to her.
"WOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!" Rapunzel cheered.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!" Eugene and Lance screamed in bloody fear as the ride was something they definitely weren't used to.
Later in the fabrication room...
On board the gummi ship's research and fabrication room, is where Danielle and Claire receive the outfits they wear for certain worlds they visit.
Once the ship was hovering over the pirate world. Their ship's teleporter recived two more expected visitors who agreed to join them on their journey.
They looked over and saw Kara and Lucas walk over to join the team.
"Sorry we're late." Kara meekly said.
"We had some morning training to get out of the way." Lucas explained.
"Hey, Kara. Lucas. It's great to see you both again." Rapunzel said as she pulled both former nobodies into a hug.
"We wouldn't wanna miss your third worldy visit." Kara smiled as they both shared a hug with her.
Then they walked back into the fabrication room and stood with the others.
"Glad you could join us, You two." Claire smiled at Kara and Lucas.
"Wouldn't dream of missing this one." Lucas grinned.
"Now before we start. Some of you should be fine in your current outfits. So if anyone wants to stay the same. Speak now." Danielle announced.
"I will. My Wakandan attire will allow me to pass as some local from a tribe." T'Challa stated about his attire.
"And my Asgardian armor should blend well among the locals. It has on many occasions." Valkyrie spoke up as she also declined on changing her looks.
"I'll pass too. All just change this with this rag and I should blend in." Rocket said as he removed his tech goggles and replaced it with a red bandana over his head. "I mean if this world was able to handle seeing a talking duck and man-dog. It should have no problem seeing someone like me. Right?"
"Point taken." Danielle shrugged.
"I too feel confident about my attire." Drax stated as he declined.
"He should be fine. If anything. Because my mistaken him as some native of a voodoo colony." Claire said to her girlfriend.
"Guess that leaves the rest of us. Zel? Step up on the platform, please?" Danielle gestured for Rapunzel to get on the fabrication platform.
"With pleasure, Danielle." Rapunzel said while stepped up onto the platform.
After Claire typed in a few command details on the terminal. She activated the fabrication machine. And a light wave shined over Rapunzel. Until her clothes changed into that of a common pirate world attire.
Rapunzel now wore a blue and white striped shirt that showed a bit of cleavage with a blue bow beneath, and decorative strings crisscrossing above. The shirt also exposed her midriff. She also wore blue pants with frills at the bottom and a turquoise sash around her waist. And the pants went just below her knees and she was barefoot. And on her head was a pirate hat with the skull and crossbones symbol on the front, and a red feather on the side
"Oh my Gosh I look so cool!" Rapunzel beamed excitedly before posing on the platform. "Argh, maties!"
"Just be you, Zel. No need to scratch your voice for the folks below our hygiene rate." Danielle mused then she looked at Eugene. "You're up next, Prince Charming."
"Whatever you say, fashion queen." Eugene said sarcastically as he climbed up onto the platform as Rapunzel stepped down. "Remember to go easy on the makeup. My face is my best feature."
Danielle smirked and went over to whisper in Claire's ear which made her grin. And then she typed in a few commands. Before she input them in and activated the fabrication machine.
And thus Eugene's attire changed.
Eugene now wore a frilled white dress shirt underneath a blue long coat. He also wore brown long pants with black sailor boots. On his head was a brown pirate hat with a feather in the side. On his ear was a gold earring and on his face was heavy eyeliner.
Eugene admired his new outfit with a smirk before he pulled out his pocket mirror and smirked at his reflection.
"Well hello there Sir 'Strike The sails And Ladies' Are you a tall mud of.." Eugene suddenly gasped and shrieked as he noticed his eyes. "AAAAH! Oh no no no no! Not the eyeliner! Why the eyeliner?! You monsters! What have you done to ME?!" He humorously bellowed at Danielle and Claire.
"Calm down, You-In-Jeans. You fit right in with everyone else. Eyeliners are practically running in the springs down below." Danielle smirked while Claire stifled a giggle.
"Yeah well if I had my way I'd run you all through the springs!" Eugene exclaimed as he tried to wipe the eye liners off, all to no avail.
"Lance. You're up." Danielle invited Lance to step up on the platform.
"Of course." Lance said as he got onto the platform after Eugene stepped down. "One question, though. Do these outfits come in plus sizes?"
"They do. Don't worry." Claire assured as she typed in on the terminal and activated the fabrication machine.
And soon Lance's outfit was changed.
Lance now wore an open short sleeve shirt underneath an open vest, showing off his toned abs and muscle arms. He also wore brown pants with brown boots. He had several belts and a red sash on his waist. And on his head was a yellow bandana.
"Now this is a pirate outfit." Lance said, admiring his outfit. "Ah...These feel so much roomier than the outfits I used to knock out and steal from other pirates in my early days."
"Those are abs? Huh. I could've sworn the artist didn't know how to draw flabs." Danielle figured while breaking the fourth wall.
"Alright Kara. You're up." Claire called up.
"Okay, Claire." Kara said before hopping on to the platform on her bare feet as Lance stepped down. "Go ahead. I'm ready for whatever."
Claire than activated thr fabrication machine for a special outfit for Kara to wear. A street 'Gipsy' attire. Or in a less racist term. A Romani attire. Not that the people of that time knew what to call them.
Kara's outfit consisted of a skimpy black top that showed her cleavage and left her entire midriff exposed. Attached to the top was a hood. She wore black pants that went down to half her shins. There were decorative belts on the pants. And she was barefoot, as part of how she uses her magic is being in contact with the ground beneath her feet.
"Close to home, but with a somewhat renaissance flair. I like it." Kara smiled as she gave a twirl on her bare feet.
"Glad to hear it. Lucas, you're up." Claire guestured for Lucas to step up next.
"Alright." Lucas said as took his place on the platform after Kara jumped down. "Let's see what you got."
Claire typed in a few commands and then activated the fabrication machine to change Lucas' appearance.
Lucas now wore a white sleeveless shirt underneath a sleeveless black vest with red trimming. He also wore black fingerless gloves and red cloth around his biceps. He also wore grey pants with the legs rolled up and black boots. And a red sash around his waist.
"Hmm. Not bad." Lucas said as he looked over his new outfit.
"Cool." Claire said as she typed in a few more command codes and a timer for two more outfits. "Alright Dani. We're up."
"Cool. Just don't make any Sailor Moon quotes." Danielle warned her girlfriend who rolled her eyes with a grin as she stepped up on the platform with Danielle.
And then in a flash of light. Claire and Danielle's outfits changed in a flash of light.
Danielle wore a black top that showed her whole midriff underneath a long black coat. She wore black skin-tight pants and black boots. And she wore a pirate hate with a black feather.
Claire wore a crimson crop top underneath a crimson sleeveless vest. She also wore crimson short shorts. And thigh high boots. She also wore a pirate hat with a red feather.
"Wow, Claire, you make me want to walk the plank for you." Danielle joked while admiring her girlfriend's outfit.
"Thanks. And I'd sink to the bottom of Davey Jones Locker just to catch a glimpse of you." Claire commented in a flirtatious tone.
"I've got hopefully a legitimate question. How bad does Tortuga smell?" Rocket asked while holding his hand up.
"That depends. Have you been to the lower districts of Knowhere?" Danielle hinted as she and Claire stepped down from the platform.
"Pretty much. As if there's any higher." Rocket remarked.
"Than you and your schnozz should fit in just fine down there." Danielle assured.
It's like the 'not-a-racoon' Especially if Donald and Goofy were able to handle walking through that place without drawing too much attention. Rocket can too. The people down there have seen stranger things in this pirate world anyway.
"Remember, Team. Our priority is to find the connection to Warewolf curse by finding any info on the last host. So let's see if we can find Joshamee Gibbs and see what he knows." Claire reminded them of the mission.
"Not to worry. We know what our goal is. And we will see it to the end." T'Challa assured.
"I to am ready as well." Valkyrie agreed.
"Anything that gets me near all the infinite amount of grog and rum. I am so ready!" Lance beamed at the thought of all of those drinks.
"Don't over indulge, Pal." Eugene deadpanned.
"I am of the same mind to see this mission done." Drax agreed while standing with the team.
"Just point at who to shoot and you got my green light." Rocket smirked.
"We're ready to head down whenever. Hopefully, we'll catch a whiff of our wolf clue." Lucas said.
"And I'll use everything I've learned so far to track down any lead we can." Kara said with a determined look.
"Then let's not waist a single moment." Rapunzel said with a nod before looking to Danielle. "Get us down there, Dani."
'We're right now locked on to a checkpoint down in Tortuga as we speak.' PRICE stated.
'Shall we cruise?!' LIZ beamed.
"Beam us down, Ladies." Danielle nodded.
Then suddenly. Everyone on board was beamed down to one of the worse and best places a pirate could call a rest stop.
Down in Tortuga...
The team was beamed down and had arrived in an empty alley on an island in Haiti. Or what everyone called Tortuga. Where all kinds of chaotic activities were raging on. Fighting. Shooting in the air and at people. Laughing. Drinking. Everything you would expect at a pirate bar fight mixed in with an underground punk rave party vibe.
"What a Dump!" Rocket criticized all that was happening in the town as everyone was walking out of the alley.
"A dump is where we leave behind piles of trash. This is just an awful town." Drax said as he took Rocket literally.
"I am Groot." Groot looked around as he noticed people were just walking right by him just like last time.
"Is this place anything like you remember?" Rapunzel asked Groot as they walk.
"I am Groot." Grooted stated and pointed down at the ground. Translated: "Yes. And watch your step."
"Yeah. I'm not even going to ask and just take your word for it." Rapunzel said while cringing at the ground.
"Agh!" Pascal squeaked a disgusted sound at the smell in the air.
"Allow me." Kara offered.
Then the young sorceress waved her glowing purple hand and used her magic to clean up at least two miles worth of filth on the grounds of Tortuga. Not that the residents even noticed.
Two pirates slumping almost have drunk and half asleep on the balcony saw. And one of them was more aware.
"Did you see that?" The first one asked.
"No thanks. I'm tryin to quit." The other answered before they both passed out fully.
Once the grounds were clean Kara smiled at the group.
"I do this for my chores all the time at Kamar-Taj." Kara winked.
"Wow. That was awesome. Thanks Kara." Rapunzel said as she felt much better about walking around barefoot in Tortuga.
"Yeah. She came a long way since becoming Doctor Strange's apprentice. She can even do it subconsciously with her feet whenever she walks around." Lucas complimented his girlfriend.
"I am Groot." Groot pointed down over at a tavern. Stated that's where the Guardians first met Mr Gibbs.
"Better not ask us for one of those blood oath specials." Rocket snorted as they walked over to the tavern.
Once they made it up to the tavern. But once they got near the entrance. They were blocked by two muscular door men.
"New policy. Residents only." One of the door men stated.
"What?!" Rocket gawked.
"Hang on. We've got this." Lance winked as he and Eugene stepped up the charm the two pirates guarding the entry.
"Hey there. How's it going?" Eugene said, trying to sound all cool. "See, me and my friends just rolled in. And we were really hoping to try out the best tavern this little paradise has to offer. So how about letting us in, boys?"
"See, my partner and I are rum critics. And if we write you in for a good review. You'll be having more customers lining up at this place. So come on. You don't want a bad review do you?" Lance grinned.
Then the door men pointed their swords at Eugene and Lance's noses.
"We'll take our chances." The second Door Man grunted.
"Rum critics? Really?" Eugene hissed at Lance.
"it was the first thing that popped in my head, alright?" Lance muttered nervously.
"If ye wish to pass. You must prove yer selves with yer fists." The first Door Man declared as he whispered for two of their best fighters to come on out.
Just then. Two shirtless muscular pirates about almost five feet tall came out and glared down at the group. One was a dark skinned man named Tiny. And the other was a lighter skinned one named Stony.
Tiny and Stony chuckled darkly at the group as they couldn't wait to break some more bone.
"Only one or two of your best fighters can step up." The second Door Man declared.
"Panther? Wanna take a shot at these losers?" Danielle asked.
"No thanks. I'm keeping my claws clean for the next battle." T'Challa declined.
"Then I shall accept the challenge." Drax stepped up.
"So shall I. Don't be too rough on them, Destroyer." Valkyrie smirked as they both stood in front of them.
Then. Just as Tiny and Stony were about the throw the first punches.
***BAM! PUNCH!***
Valkyrie and Drax threw their own punches which sent both Tiny and Stony screaming into the harbor.
"WOOOOOOAOAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Tiny and Stony screamed and...
*Splash!*
They fell in the water. Then Valkyrie looked at the two now scared door men. Several people who walked by saw the whole thing as they were either impressed, or scared out of their wits.
"Anyone else?" Valkyrie asked casually.
Both men looked absolutely terrified before putting on scared smiles and stepping aside.
"Please come in and enjoy yourselves." The first doorman said with a nervous tone.
"Yes. We're always ready to welcome new clientele to our establishment." The second doorman said while shaking.
Valkyrie nodded as she went in ahead of the group and looked around to see that it was just like any village tavern she had seen. Especially during the old days of Midgard.
Everyone walked in and while they were looking for Mr Gibbs. Rocket walked over to the bar to order a drink. Using some gold Orion gave him just in case.
"What does this Gibbs look like?" Drax asked as they looked around.
"I am Groot." Groot's eyes widened and pointed over at a booth.
They looked over and saw none other than Captain Jack Sparrow himself. Asleep with his hat slanted down over his face and his boots propped up on the table.
"That Captain Sparrow?" Rapunzel asked.
"I am Groot." Groot nodded.
Rapunzel then walked up to the pirate captain to try and talk to him.
"Um, Mr. Sparrow? Are you awake?" Rapunzel called.
"Whoa-whoop!" Jack was startled as his legs slipped off the table as he stumbled a bit but stood straight in his seat as he fixed his hat.
"Oops. Sorry." Rapunzel meekly replied.
"I knew the new policy was more of a guideline than..." Jack muttered as he looked at Rapunzel and her group. "Ahoy, Lass. If your group are lookin for recruitment. I'm afraid the Black Pearl is booked. At least until someone drowns or gets eaten."
"Oh, no. We're not here to join your crew. We're here to ask you and Mr. Gibbs a few things." Rapunzel said before introducing herself. "I'm Rapunzel, Orion's sister."
"You mean Captain Mav and his crew of the Unknown?" Jack Sparrow inquired.
"Yes. That's him." Rapunzel said smiling before gesturing to Groot. "I'm sure you remember Groot."
"I am Groot." Groot said with a wave.
"Hard to forget a splintering sight for sore eyes like yourself." Jack tipped his hat to Groot. Before he stood up and fixed his jacket.
"We're also kinda in a rush to stop a certain curse. So if you could maybe show us to your ship? Unless you charge for admission." Eugene said with humorous urgency.
"If ye all have a cutlass. Then it's 'admissioned' enough. And I've had my fair share of curses as the tree's crew is well aware. But if anyone knows of any kind of curse around these parts. Mr Gibbs would know. So follow me to my ship. And whatever you do. Don't shout my name so loudly again." Jack warned.
"Why's that, Mr. Sparrow?" Rapunzel asked in confusion.
"It's 'Captain Sparrow'. And let's just say I've had history with some of the residential Lasses of this town. And now I have a reformed set of new memories I'd like to keep under the table." Jack grinned as he twitched a bit.
"Jack Sparrow I presume?" A lady in a red dress for the tavern performance group came over with a smug smirk and another lady in a black dress with her.
"Isabel!" Jack beamed as he saw the lady in the red dress.
***SLAP!***
Jack recoiled from the slap Isabel gave him.
Making the team wince. And Rocket saw from the booth he was drinking from and laughed out loudly.
"Surely I didn't deserve that." Jack figured.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! THAT WAS PRICELESS! DO IT AGAIN! PLEASE!" Rocket echoed from the booth.
"Jack?" The other woman in the black dress walked up and greeted the Captain.
"Sarah?" Jack tipped his hat to her.
***SLAP!***
Jack recoiled from Sarah slapping him just as hard in the face. And the team flinched again. And then Sarah walked off.
"It's very likely I deserved that." Jack pondered
"HAHAHAHA! SECOND TIME IT WORKED!" Rocket laughed as he finished his drink and fell off his booth feeling drunk.
"You're lucky. Some ladies tend to use a frying pan." Eugene joked as he gave Rapunzel a knowing grin.
"And don't you forget it, Mr." Rapunzel said to him with a smirk and a hair flip.
Jack Sparrow then cleared his throat and almost went one direction and pondered before he turned towards the exit.
"This way gents." Jack said as he lead the group outside while Groot carried a drunk and mildly. conscious Rocket slumped over his shoulder.
Later on board the Black Pearl's Captain's quarters...
Everyone sat around a table as Mr Gibbs sat in the middle to face the group. Mr Gibbs was the first mate of the Pearl and second in command of Jack's crew. His insight and a little more leveled head is what someone like Jack Needs by his side.
Mr Gibbs took a tip of his mug and burped a little before giving everyone a serious look.
"So. Ye all wish to hear about the wolf curse." Mr Gibbs figured.
"Yes sir. We were hoping you could help us learn who the last host of the Werewolf was." Rapunzel said politely to the first mate.
"It is important for us to learn of this." T'Challa stated.
"Aye. I knew him once. He and I were like brothers at arms." Mr. Gibbs stated.
"Sorry to hear that." Claire said genuinely.
"Don't be. I hated his guts." Mr. Gibbs laughed a bit and continued. "The man was named Joseph Lee. He served as second mate of Jack's crew for a few months after he went awol on the King's Navy he did. But he held so much resentment for his old comrades. He carried it the entire time he served our ship. Sure the Lad was good at hiding it."
"That must have been difficult." Rapunzel said before asking. "What happened to him?"
"One evening. Our crew was pulling off a heist, to save some pirates from the noose we were. On the island of Fort Madison. However, as the job was going well. We didn't know what the full moon brought us. Until Young Joe turned. Never has the crew seen a bloodier sight as he slaughtered all the Red Coats on the island. Tore them to shreds, he did. So our crew had no choice but to leave him behind for the sake of the others." Mr Gibbs declared in a serious tone.
"After that. We spread the word across the seven seas for all sailors to stay off that island. So if that's where you wish to head. Then you must have a death wish." Jack declared.
"I don't think we'll find him there. At least not alive." Rapunzel said, catching both pirates' attention. "Right now, we're dealing with a Werewolf curse in my hometown. We're trying to narrow down who the new host to the curse might be."
"And you think finding the body of Young Joe will help you find the new cursed mutt?" Jack inquired.
"That's why I'm here. My magic might allow me to narrow down who the next host might be." Kara spoke up.
Mr. Gibbs pondered for a moment. Before he looked at the group. If there's one thing these pirates are aware of. Is that the Guardians of the Unknown are well known for ending curses. And if they don't end this one. Who's to say this curse won't eventually find its way back to this world.
"Very well. We'll take ye all to Fort Madison. Or what's left of it anyway. However, I can't afford to spare any of the ship's crew to assist ye all." Mr Gibbs said firmly.
"Which is why I'll be the only one leading you all to Joe's last sighting." Jack assured.
"Thank you so much." Rapunzel said to the two pirates. "We really appreciate your help."
"Don't thank us yet, Lass. If yer group survive's the experience running into that beast. But if he drinks damnation like ye claims he does. Then let's hope nothing darker has taken his place on that island." Mr. Gibbs declared.
"Right...No pressure." Eugene muttered.
"Yeah yeah. Abandon all hope ye who enter there." Rocket mocked a pirate accent. "Are you all gonna take us there or finish decomposing?"
"Right. At once, Gibbs." Jack and Mr Gibbs walked out to tell the crew to ready the sails.
"Unfold the sails, Lads. Weighted anchors! Point her towards east! We're heading to tempt the devil's hound once again!" Mr Gibbs announced to the crew as they all cheered while getting the ship ready.
Later on the upper deck of the Black Pearl...
As everyone was stationed in different locations around the upper deck of the ship. The crew was busy operating the sails and ship's equipment while singing a classic sea shanty.

And Rapunzel was manning the wheel as Mr. Gibbs was showing her how to sail while her hands were on the wheel.
"Remember. Keep the ship pointed to where the wind blows the strongest. If ye need to turn directly towards our destination. Do so. Unless the winds say otherwise." Mr Gibbs gave the Maverick's adopted sister a few pointers.
"Okay. I think I got it." Rapunzel smiled as she held steady. "Thanks for teaching me how to steer the ship. I've always wanted to learn how."
"Ye will need to know in order to survive round these parts. Yer brother. The armored one with the lights and fire from his fingertips. He formed a ship out of lights and rammed it into the mouth of a Heartless Sea Monster once." Mr Gibbs pointed out something incredible Orion did once when he was on this world with the Guardians.
"Yeah. That definitely sounds like something my brother would do. Saving people and always showing off as he does." Rapunzel said with a fond smile.
"Only someone who came from the stars would have the full luxury of being a hero. The rest of us. We have to pick when the times' right. Cause the last time we tried playing savior. We almost got killed by a man wolf." Mr Gibbs pointed out. "But Jack and I were always certain that if the Maverick was here. That whole event would've ended differently."
"Yeah. Ryan told me about it." Rapunzel said with a shudder. "He said that Barbosa guy and his crew looked ready to drop dead."
"Ah. That old man's crew was neither living nor dead. Barbosa confiscated this ship from Jack and spent years sailing the seas trying to gather every piece belonging to a chest of treasure of an Aztec curse. But with the effort of Young Will Turner. And the Guardians' valiant assault. Jack received the justice he desired. And now this ship, looks as if there's not a trace of anyone's bones left to pull the rudders." Mr. Gibbs. "Tis was a nightmarish sight to see believe it or not."
"Then I'm glad I didn't get to see it." Rapunzel said. "By the way, how is Will doing, and Elizabeth?"
"From what I've heard the young Turner has asked for her hand in marriage." Mr Gibbs grinned.
"Really?!" Rapunzel gasped in excitement. "Oh my Gosh, I'm so happy for them. I wonder when they're going to have the big wedding day."
"Aye. In fact-" Mr Gibbs was about to add something when suddenly the bell alarm rang on the ship.
"Sea Beast of the rear bow!" One of the crew members yelled.
Mr Gibbs and Rapunzel looked back to see some kind of creature with a dozen giant tentacles heading its way towards the Black Pearl. Looking ready for lunch and a fight.
"Oh boy." Rapunzel muttered with a gulp.
"Finally. Something to shoot at." Rocket grinned as he cocked the large missile cannon in his arms.
Then suddenly as others in Rapunzel's group came up to see the creature. Valkyrie was able to get a good look at the creature as its head was under the water. It had the symbol they all became aware of.
"Odin's Beard. The beast is an Unversed." Valkyrie's eyes widened.
"What?! The Unversed?! Here too?!" Rapunzel exclaimed in shock as she gazed at the approaching enemies. "Just how strong is the Werewolf's negativity that it can cause Unversed to appear all the way out here?!"
"Too strong! It can detect the keyblade all the way out here!" Kara stated as she gestured to Lucas, Claire and Danielle's keyblades.
"The negativity seems endless in this regard!" T'Challa stated as he stood with Rapunzel's group.
"Then it can have mine. Hold my coat, Babe." Danielle took her coat and pirate hat off and passed them to Claire.
Leaving her upper body in just the midriff sleeveless black top.
Then Danielle took a few steps back while summoning her keyblades. And then ran towards the back ledge and launched herself in the air towards the Unversed Sea Beast. She caused it to rain down lightning on the tentacles which seemed to hurt the beast. But just as Danielle rammed herself down in the wear towards the monster's head.
More tentacles began to sprout up from the water around the ship. Waving around as to signal their about to smash the ship.
"All of you! Don't let these beasties strike at our port, or it's down to Davy Jones Locker for all of us!" Mr. Gibbs warned the team and crew.
"Got it! We'll make this water scut rain instead!" Rocket stood at the rails and shot out five missiles which landed and hit over five tentacles.
***Missiles launching!***
"RAAAAAAAAAAGH!" Drax ran and launched his knives into one of the tentacles and stabbed it repetitively.
While Valkyrie kept jumping up in the air. Using her dragonfang sword to slash the tentacles in half.
T'Challa started to throw electric poison daggers one by one into every tentacle he could see. While using his Panther-like reflexes to keep up with the tentacles as he could tell which one was about to smash the ship. And he kept it from happening each time he attacked one.
Kara protected a mystical shield barrier around the ship which caused the other tentacles to bounce back each time it tried to smash the ship.
But then suddenly. A large group of Unversed Floods and Scrappers began to sprout around the upper deck. Causing some of the crew to draw their swords as they started to fight back.
"Everyone! Let's take these clowns down!" Lucas called out to Rapunzel. Eugene. Lance and Jack.
"Savy!" Jack drew his sword out as Lance and Eugene did the same.
Mr Gibbs came with his sword drawn while Rapunzel draws out her frying pan.
"A pan?! Are you plannin to poison their meals?!" Mr Gibbs gawked at Rapunzel.
"You just wait and see what I can do." Rapunzel replied back with a confident smirk as she wielded her Vibranium pan.
Then Rapunzel spun her frying pan a few times. Causing it to turn blue as the lightning drive form was activated.
Rapunzel used her hair to swing over and she swung her frying to zap and knock five scrappers out of the ship. Then she landed on her bare feet and started smacking around the rest.
While Lance and Eugene stood back to back. Blocking their attacks and slashing their swords at the Floods and Scrappers.
T'Challa being the Black Panther he was. Used two vibranium daggers to spin and attack three Bruisers and kept taking them out as fast as they kept spawning.
Lucas spun around and fought with the same skills as Yozora as he took down ten of the Unversed. Jack Sparrow was showing great skill as a pirate captain as he was slashing at twelve different Unversed, blocked each of their attacks and even kicked a barrel into a Bruiser that spawned. Causing it to trip.
Then Lucas slammed his keyblade into it to finish it off.
Groot was extending himself to whip his sharp wooden arms into the incoming tentacles as they kept sprouting up. While Valkyrie and Drax kept slashing at the tentacles and Rocket kept shooting them down.
"Goldie! I'm almost out of ammo! I'm not sure how much longer we can keep these wet limbs away!" Rocket yelled out as he kept shooting.
"Just keep at it. They can't keep at it forever!" Rapunzel responded as she struck at a tentacle, causing it to explode from the electricity.
Then as the battle was starting to become too much for the crew and the team. Suddenly...
****BOOOOOM!****
A large massive ray of neon and lightning shot out from the waters. Causing the Sea Beast to erupt into the air. And shattered into pieces. Much to everyone's shocked expression as they saw the sight.
Except for Valkyrie. Because she was used to seeing this from the Mighty Thor and others like Storm from the X-Men.
Then as the neon and lightning vanished. The waters and skies were all clear. As the rest of the Unversed vanished around the ship.
"Great Bast." T'Challa said in wonder.
Then suddenly as the Sea Beast was vanquished. Danielle flew over landed in front of the team. Completely wet as she ringed the water out of her hair and popped her neck.
Danielle looked around at the crew and team who were all staring at her.
"What are you girls looking at?" Danielle inquired smugly.
"Nothing. Just... Maybe you could have led with that?" Eugene said with shock.
"I feel so outclassed now." Lance muttered.
"I am Groot." Groot said in awe.
"The tree is right. You have a power worthy of the God of Thunder himself, Independent Warrior." Valkyrie commented Danielle for her great victory over the Sea Beast.
"That was awesome, Dani!" Rapunzel beamed as she ran over and pulled her into a hug. "Looks like I have a second Thunder sis in the family!"
Danielle returned the hug and then pointed out.
"Actually. That was a mix of neon and lightning. I had to go straight for the glorified Sea Monkey's throat to make it work." Danielle stated as she stretched her back. "God I'd kill for a shower right now."
"And I'd kill to be in that shower with you." Claire flirted with Danielle as she came over and wrapped her arms around Danielle's waist and gave her a kiss on the lips.
"It's on the list." Danielle smirked as she returned the kiss with her arms wrapped around Claire's neck.
Just then as Mr. Gibbs used his spyglass to look out head. He could see an island with the formation of an old British military fort.
"Alright Lads! We're close. Resume as you were!" Mr Gibbs called out to the crew.
"One thing's crossed my mind. If there's a wolf in your home world. Why not just let Yozora and Maverick's crew take it out?" Jack asked Rapunzel curiously.
"They're busy with other matters. So it's up to us." Rapunzel said before looking stern. "And I'm hoping to free whoever the host is from their curse."
"Plus this year's canine model is actually a resident of Corona. So we're trying to resolve the matter without killing the host, thank you." Eugene pointed out sarcastically.
"You speak as if the curse is goin to give you lot a choice. When it comes down to saving the host or its next victim. What then?" Jack asked while making a point.
"We won't let it come to that." Rapunzel said sternly as she refused to make such a choice.
Jack nodded as he could see the same determination in Rapunzel's eyes as he's seen in Orion's.
"Then here's hopin the winds blow in your favor, Lass." Jack responded with hope that Rapunzel sees this through.
"Thanks. I hope so too." Rapunzel said with a determined look as she looked out towards the island.
Then as the Black Pearl closed in on the island of Fort Madison. The team was ready to investigate the island and see what they're about to find.
On the island of Fort Madison...
Drax. Rocket. Groot. T'Challa and Valkyrie stepped off the front ramp first as they went ahead towards the trees to see if the coast was clear. Mr Gibbs decided to stay with the crew on board the ship while Jack Sparrow joined the others.
"All clear! It's safe to come down!" T'Challa called the others.
Then Danielle. Claire. Lucas. Kara. Rapunzel. Eugene, Lance and Jack walked down the ramp to join the others.
"The fort is straight through this path. Assuming Joe never ate the back entrance." Jack stated as he led the team forward through the jungle of the island.
"Anything to get me away from the water is thanks enough." Rocket exhaled as he was glad to finally be away from over the ocean.
Kara winced a little as she could sense the effect of great darkness on this island.
"I can hear them. The past screams of the wolf's victims sprouting up from the fort." Kara declared.
"She has an ability to sense echoes from the past." Lucas explained to Rapunzel.
"Wow. That's amazing. Your powers, not the screams, obviously. Hehe." Rapunzel said before asking. "What can you tell from the echoes?"
"I can't say. The screams are so incoherent. I'll have to get closer for the echoes to get clearer." Kara stated as her bare feet stepped over a few loose branches as she kept up with the group.
"So no one's been back to this place since the Werewolf attack?" Claire asked Jack.
"None. Me and my crew made sure to warn others to stay away. We're the first group to step on this island in over seven months." Jack declared as he used his sword to cut away some branches to clear the path.
Then Jack saw an old rusted gate which resembled a back door entrance. He also noticed that the wooden door was shattered.
"This is the place. Stay alert." Jack warned.
"you heard him. Let's move, but be careful. We don't know what might still be here." Rapunzel said as she started walking inside.
"Squeak!" Pascal squeaked in fear and hid in Rapunzel's shoulder.
"You know I've been to some British prisons with the same hygienic habits. Only they were slacking on purpose." Eugene said while looking around as he followed Rapunzel.
"Oh, come on it's not that bad." Lance said before giving a nervous gulp. "I mean it's nowhere near as scary as some of the places we looted back during our thieving days "
Then as they stepped inside of the back entrance of a commercial building inside the fort. It was pitch black dark all over. Daniel caused it to illuminate using a white neon light bulb projected over the room.
And suddenly. They saw skeletons of dead troops all over the floor. And old dried up blood on the walls. And claw marks everywhere.
"Ah!" Lance squeaked and his teeth chattered in fear. "I'd take it back...This is worse...Way worse!"
"What do the echoes tell you?" Claire asked Kara as she touched one of the claw marks.
Kara's eyes closed as she listened closely.
"This building was meant for storing supplies and making inventories. The Werewolf didn't let anyone escape this room." Kara stated as she saw what happened.
"My God. This is worse than I thought it would be." Rapunzel muttered, horrified by all the skeletons. "It's like a cemetery in this building."
"Actually. It's worse outside." Rocket called over from the front entrance as he pointed outside.
The group stepped out and was horrified to see piles of bones and skeletons scattered all over the grounds of the fort. As if a battle took place. Especially with the smashed bricks and wooden wagons shattered everywhere. Musket rounds scattered. And more dried blood with claw marks. Rapunzel only covered her mouth and gasped at the horrific sight that was before her. Even Pascal dreaded what he was seeing.
Lance was the first to pass out falling backwards.
"Lucky." Eugene muttered looking back at Lance.
"Okay. This is ***king sick." Danielle gawked at the sight. Then she looked at the readers. "Be glad you're reading and not seeing."
"What the hell kind of wolf are we dealing with?" Claire muttered about the devastation.
Kara looked up and saw a command tower on top of the main building station in the fort.
"Dani. Take us up there. I can sense a strong echo up in that command tower." Kara requested.
"Alright. Hold on." Danielle teleported everyone at once up inside the command tower.
Jack Sparrow was the only one who stumbled a bit when he was brought up there via Danielle's teleportation abilities. The team was brought up to the command tower and they began to look around and saw some skeleton in a commander's uniform slumped against the cabinets with a sword still in his hand. And a small girl's doll in his right hand.
"This was the commander." Kara concluded as she touched the doll and closed her eyes. "He was trying to defend his daughter. But they both didn't make it."
"Oh my God!" Rapunzel gasped in horror with tears in her eyes. "But where, where's his daughter's..."
She couldn't even bring herself to say body, the thought was too much.
"She's..." Kara grimaced as she saw the memories. Before she let go of the doll and looked at Rapunzel. And shook her head with a tear falling from her cheek. "There wasn't anything left of her."
Meaning the daughter was also brutally killed by the wolf.
Rapunzel closed her eyes as she couldn't fathom the tragedy of a child like this. But then T'Challa placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Don't despair, Princess. What happened here is beyond words. And there is nothing we can do to change it. But we can still end the curse before it claims more victims." T'Challa encouraged her.
Rapunzel nodded before she took a shuddering breath to calm herself before giving a serious determined look.
"Not another person. Not in my kingdom." Rapunzel said with a firm voice, she was determined to not let history repeat itself in her own home.
Then Kara went over and touched the dried blood by the window. And closed her eyes. As she sensed the echoes of what happened due to this crashed open window. This was a much stronger echo.
Then her eyes opened.
"The wolf went inside of a cave at the base of the mountain straight ahead." Kara stated as she pointed at the mountain close by outside the fort. "If Joe is still here. That's where we will find him."
"By that she means 'Joe's body'. She's trying to be less graphic as possible." Danielle said to the readers.
"Then let's go. The sooner we finish things here, the sooner we can return to Corona." Rapunzel said with a determined look with Pascal nodding in agreement.
"You don't have to tell me twice." Eugene said with a shudder. "I am so gonna have nightmares of this place for the next week.
"That'll be two for me." Lance added in.
Then Danielle teleported everyone back down so they could exit the fort and follow the trail Kara was picking up on.
Later down at the base of the mountain...
Everyone followed Kara out of the fort and had only a short walk towards the mountain. Where they saw the entrance of a large cave. Inside was a large tunnel. And it was dark all the way to the end.
But on the ground here wolf prints. Just like what they saw in Corona.
"I uh...Forgot to mention. I'm allergic to dark smelly deadly caves so..." Lance nervously stated.
"Lance. The host is dead. Remember?" Eugene reminded his best friend.
"Okay...Sure...But what if it's been playing possum all this time?" Lance asked.
"Grow some berries, Big Mac. Chances are I'll break it's jaw, alright?" Danielle hissed as she stepped in and lit the cave up with another neon white orb.
"If this creature were alive. Then the curse wouldn't be in Corona otherwise." Drax reminded them.
"Well, in either case, just keep your eyes peeled. I've learned the hard way that the unexpected happens a lot more than you think." Rapunzel told the group.
"How and why would we need to peel our eye balls? That would painfully render us blind." Drax ridiculed as he took Rapunzel's advice literally.
"I didn't mean literally. It was just an expression." Rapunzel said with a slight cringe before they started walking into the tunnel.
Then they walked forward and went down the dripping dark tunnel. Expecting for there to either be danger or a straightforward clue that would allow everyone to go home after it's been found.
Once they made it to the end of the tunnel. There was a large opening which was large enough for a camp of several pirates to rest in. In fact they saw a tent inside the cave.
Jack slowly went over to the tent. "Allow me..." He whispered.
Then as he was close to the flaps, he used his sword to cut them open and immediately looked frightened.
"AH!" Jack screamed.
"AAAAH!" Eugene and Lance screamed.
"What?!" Eugene exclaimed.
"They've wasted a lot of good rum." Jack looked baffled.
Everyone groaned as even Groot facepalmed himself.
"Ugh! Can I shoot him?" Rocket asked Rapunzel.
"Not now, Rocket." Rapunzel said while rubbing her temple. "Jack, is there anything else besides wasted rum?"
"No wait...Yes...No...Actually..."Jack searched a bit more. "Yes. I found Joe's body. It's still fresh."
"Can you tell how he might have died?" Rapunzel asked.
"Aye. He was stabbed. Straight through the heart...Wait...By his own sword." Jack responded in confusion as Kara walked over to get a closer look.
She placed her hand on the tent and closed her eyes.
"This wasn't a murder. This was suicide." Kara declared before she opened her eyes and looked at the group. "I know what happened here."
"You do? Tell us." Rapunzel asked with some urgency.
"After Joe killed everyone in Fort Madison as the Werewolf. He came to this cave to rest until he was transformed back. When he woke up. All of the ships were gone and he was left alone on this island. Pretty soon he felt the satisfaction of his vengeful resentment. That gave him the means to survive. Over seven months he had all but lost his mind. Each time the moon grew full he would prowl across the island attacking small prey and other wildlife for food. As his normal self he learned to hunt. But apparently one night. His sense of isolation. Caused the weight of his actions to become clear. The moment he finally came to his senses. He couldn't handle the guilt or not knowing what to do about the wolf. So to ensure nonone was hurt by the wolf again. He committed suicide." Kara told them everything she saw in the glimpse. "If any he knew about the curse traveling each time a host dies."
"And now that curse has claimed a new host, somewhere in Corona." Rapunzel said grimly, giving a moment of silence to the poor soul lying dead in front of them. "Can you use this to tell us who the new host is?"
"Unfortunately no. The host has masked his or her true feelings to get a good read. But I can tell you this. It's someone who you know personally." Kara said looking at Rapunzel. "Someone who is directly inside the kingdom. "
Rapunzel's eyes widened at this.
"So it's not just any random person in old Corona. Someone who lives near the castle. And someone who doesn't profile their resentment out loud." Eugene listed.
"And someone who knows her." Rocket gestured to Rapunzel. "Alright we may not have gotten a name. But this sure does help. I'll narrow down the details when we get back. I'm 90 percent sure we're close now."
"Good. The sooner we learn who the new host is, the sooner we can put this to rest." Rapunzel said with a sigh before looking concerned. "But who is it that I know who the new host is?"
"Any guesses?" Danielle asked her.
"I really couldn't guess. But I'm sure it'll all make sense to us once we return to Corona." Rapunzel said while looking down in thought.
"Well. Here's to hoping there's no last second boss fight to slow us down." Danielle said to the Reader.
Then suddenly...
***Loud Wolf howl***
The howl was heard all around the large cave opening. Alerting the team.
"Oh God. Please already be full..." Lance said nervously.
"Please tell me that was a normal wolf and not an impossible second Werewolf." Rapunzel said while getting into a defensive stance.
"No. It's the Wulver." Valkyrie narrowed her eyes as she drew her sword.
Then T'Challa used his neck decoration to immediately shift into his Black Panther suit. And he stood ready to fight.
Danielle shifted into the Maveress and spun her two keyblades.
Claire shifted into her pink and white keyblader armor with a smooth electric glass helmet that was indestructible with electric bolts seen inside. And she had a flowing white cape with a pink line going down the side as she held her keyblade and stood with the Maveress.
As her armored identity, is Lightning.
Lucas shifted into his armored form which looked like a black and shining blue and gray version of the Yozora's Verum Rex form.
And Kara summoned two mystical medallions in her hands. Ready to fight.
Rocket cocked his best weapon while Groot stood ready.
Drax drew his knives while Eugene and Lance held their swords.
Jack Sparrow drew his sword out And Rapunzel held up her frying pan looking serious.
And suddenly. The entire cave received spawns of more Unversed Bruisers and Scraper. And then. The Wulver itself growled as it came out of a dark portal. And sneered menacingly at the group.
The Wulver was ten feet tall with white fur and red skin underneath. There were spikes growing out from its arms and legs, and sides. It had five long claws. And it had glowing red eyes and a glowing red symbol on its chest.
Such a menacing and horrific sight that could eat nightmares as well as human skulls.
"We're gonna need a bigger muzzle." Eugene quipped in a nervous tone.
"That's the Wulver?" Rapunzel said with an on edge tone.
"The source of the curse, made real." Black Panther reminded her.
"Panther. Valkyrie. Claire. Let's tear this mutty piece of shit down. The rest of you, deal with the Unversed." Maveress suggested the plan.
"Sounds good to me." Rapunzel agreed as she brandished her pan. "Let's go, guys!"
Black Panther charged in and slashed at the Wulver's left leg with his claws making it stagger. Before Lighting did an electric spin attack to knock the Wulver against the wall.
"RAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" The Wulver roared in anger.
"RAAAAAAGH!" Valkyrie gave a warriors battle cry as she slashed her sword across its chest.
But as Valkyrie slashed at it. The Wulver slashed its claws to knock Valkyrie aside. Thankfully her armor protected her from being pierced by the claw tips.
Then Maveress began to slash multiple spins from her keyblade and most of them were electrical. But then the Wulver slashed the claws of its left hand knocking Maveress into the wall. And then the Wulver grabbed Maveress' leg and smashed her several times into the ground before it kicked her to the ground
Then The Wulver ran over to give her another claw attack. But Black Panther got on its back and gripped its spine. Black Panther pulled while trying to rip its spine out. But the Wulver growled as it backed up and smashed Black Panther against the wall from its back.
Lucas came in and shot three fire spells from his keyblade and Kara used the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak to bind the Wulver. Then Lucas came in and struck the Wulver with an ice spell and a thunder spell.
Then Black Panther came in and slashed at its face. Maveress came back in with Valkyrie and they both began to attack the Wulver in different directions. Even Lightning was joining in on the beat down.
Meanwhile, Jack Sparrow, Rapunzel and the others in the group were having no trouble with taking down the Unversed as they were dispatching down the numbers. It was clear that they're being led and called by the Wulver. Or rather the curse itself.
But then suddenly. The Wulver growled and broke out of the mystical bands and knocked everyone away. Before the Wulver ran on all fours and jumped through a dark portal.
Then the rest of the Unversed vanished instantly.
"What?! Where did it go?!" Lucas asked.
"It's...Somewhere in between the dark portals. But it's no longer in this world. Neither are the Unversed." Kara declared as she could sense where the Wulver went.
"That means it got away." Rapunzel said with a frustrated tone. "I guess that means we're done here, then."
"It is like I have said, Princess. It is almost impossible to kill. But it is not invincible. We will have our second chance soon." Valkyrie assured Rapunzel.
"I hope so. Because the longer that monster runs rampant, the more people die." Rapunzel said with a grim tone.
"Not exactly. If you notice. Neither the Wulver nor the Werewolf have claimed anyone's life in Corona. Which speaks plainly that whoever the host is. Has no intention of killing anyone. And the Maverick's Cornerstone of Light should prevent the Wulver from lingering in Corona without the Werewolf's transformation." Valkyrie stated.
"Which means you have until the full moon in Corona before they both show up in Corona." Kara added.
"Then we better get back and find out who it is and fast." Rapunzel said with a determined look.
With the original host of the Werewolf curse discovered. It was now time to say 'see you later' to this pirate world so they can return to make sense of everything.
Later on board the Black Pearl...
While Rapunzel and the team were gathered together. And the others were out of their armored forms to properly give a farewell to Jack on his crew.
"While yer little dark wolf caper ain't quite over yet. I'm sure the winds have turned in yer favor." Mr Gibbs grinned at the group.
"It's been a pleasure, Gents. Lass. May Victory and good fortune favor whenever your sails." Jack Sparrow said to the team. And then looked at Rapunzel. "By the way. Did the Maverick have a message for me?"
"Oh, yeah, he did... But before I give you his message I have a question for you." Rapunzel said before asking her question. "What is the equivalent of 'hell' to pirates?"
Jack Sparrow stared blankly. And twisted a bit before he finally spoke. Because he figured out what Orion wanted to say.
"Yes well. We call it Davy Jones' Locker. The ocean below the ocean." Jack answered.
"How can they possibly fit an ocean inside of a locker? How big is the locker?" Drax asked Rapunzel.
"I think it's just another expression, Drax." Rapunzel responded before giving Jack a sheepish look. "Well, Ryan said he would see you there."
"Right. I already pieced that map together. Whelp. I suppose you and your group need to shove off so-" Jack almost finished.
"JACK!" They winced hearing a woman's voice.
"Gibbs. Please tell me that's not Abigail from the French Navy." Jack shuttered.
"Tis is her actually. Her ship followed the trail of Sea Beast parts and destruction all the way over here. Knowing it was you." Gibbs answered. "She came aboard wishing to say hi."
Then suddenly a woman in a white dress and powdered wig and makeup marched over to Jack.
Jack turned and gave a smile.
"Nice to see you again Abig-" Jack almost said.
***SLAP!***
Jack recoiled from Abigail giving him a hard slap to the face.
"vous deux chronométrez la merde!" Abigail spat before she walked away.
"Let me guess. You didn't deserve that one?" Eugene inquired with his arms crossed.
"No, I definitely deserve that one." Jack answered as he stood straight.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! THAT WAS PRICELESS! I EVEN GOT A PICTURE OF IT THIS TIME! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Rocket laughed while holding his side, trying not to fall over.
"The ship is ready to beam us up. It's time to go, Zel." Danielle said to Rapunzel.
"Well, it's time for us to go." Rapunzel said before shaking Jack's hand. "Good-bye Captain Jack Sparrow. Thanks for your help."
"Tis was a short but memorable voyage. Good luck, Princess." Jack grinned and nodded.
Then suddenly. The Thunder Bird's teleporter beamed everyone off the Black Pearl and onto the Gummi Ship.
Some of the pirates watched out in awe as they stared in shock and wonder.
"Hang on. Wasn't there a children's book called Rapunzel?" One of the pirates asked while drinking.
"Oy! Stop making things up." Another crew member replied.
Which made the first one shrug and resume drinking.
Later that night in Rapunzel's bedroom...
After everyone got back to Corona. They all called it for tonight. And decided to resume the search tomorrow. Especially since Rocket. T'Challa and Valkyrie are down in the Mav Club narrowing down possible suspects of the Werewolf curse.
Rapunzel was up on her bed. Wearing her light blue nightgown and sitting with her bare feet crossed as she used the laptop to call in on Orion. Which was a nightly routine.
Only this time. Little Varian was sitting on the bed next to his big sister as he was staring at the laptop in wonder.
Then Rapunzel managed to pull up a love private video chat. And Orion was sitting up at his desk at the hotel he was staying.
You could see the open windows of an advanced alien city. Which was the capital planet of the Galactic Alliance. Orion was also wearing a neon bedroom robe and drinking a cup of coffee out of a red mug.
"Tis the smell of blonde hair gel and wolf fur." Orion said in a deep scratchy pirate voice before he dropped it. "How are you, Zel? I heard about what happened."
"Yeah. It was rough. But on the bright side, we're closer to finding the Werewolf's host than we were before." Rapunzel said before pulling Varian into her lap facing the screen. "Oh, and I brought our little brother. Say hi, Varian."
"Hi, Varian." Varian chimed.
"Hey there, Sneak Attack." Orion mused with a grin.
He was referring to the times Varian would hit folks on the head with his rattle. Eugene is his biggest victim. That's why he always begged Rapunzel to hold him instead.
"He's both smart, and strong. Maybe he'll be the next Maverick when you someday retire." Rapunzel said with a smirk.
"Why would I retire from the dance floor when the music started getting better?" Orion quipped and added. "And yeah, Vars there is the only one on the list I'm considering as a successor. But...Let's save that for a Maverick Beyond story. Right now I did a little digging on the wolf curse and I figured out the main origin. Before the Dark Elve War that is."
"Woah. That's quite a ways back." Rapunzel said with surprise. "How exactly did the curse start, then?"
"The wolf spirit was actually spawned from one of the cubs of Fenris. The giant Asgardian wolf who now serves as the guard dog of Hela the Goddess of Death." Orion revealed. "Who of course everyone knows is the daughter of Loki."
"Loki? As in Loki from the Marvel Universe? He has a daughter?" Rapunzel exclaimed with shock.
"Yes, it's not like the God Of War games or The Mask has a world in the Multiverse. And yeah he does. But that's another story for another category. We're focusing on the giant hellhound wolf, Fenris. Anyway before Fenris served Hela. He was a free spirited wolf who lost one of his cubs. And so he carried the dead cub across the Yggdrasil and came to Svartalfheim in hopes that the Dark Elves sorcerers would bring it back." Orion stated the details.
"And I take it that things didn't go exactly as expected." Rapunzel surmised.
"No. The Dark Elves were devious. They didn't plan on bringing back the cub. Instead they wanted to turn the spirit into a weapon. Even going so far as to burn the cub's body. Which prompted Fenris to angrily attack the Dark Elves. And causing the ritual to disrupt which resulted in the cub becoming a cursed spirit. And because its body was destroyed. For centuries it tried taking someone else's body." Orion told the details.
"My God. That's just terrible." Rapunzel said with a horrified look. "So the Wulver was a victim of someone else's dark intentions?"
"Honestly. Who isn't a victim of someone else's dark intention?" Orion pointed out.
Orion was a victim of mad sciences trying to make sick people into super slaves. Rapunzel was locked in a tower to keep a selfish old hag young forever. Not to mention all of the villains they and their friends have fought over the years. The list keeps going.
"It feels so depressing to know that some of our greatest enemies could have been avoided if someone could have helped them before they walked the path of no return." Rapunzel said sadly.
"Yeah it's ***ked up. And yet people like us came out on a better path despite being taken advantage of." Orion stated.
"Well...Yeah. But not every victim has to become a Destroyer, Ryan. Some people just won't realize spreading the pain doesn't make it better. It will only create more victims." Rapunzel pointed out.
"Yeah I can't argue with..." Orion froze as something dawned on him. "Wait…..Say that again."
"It will only create more victims?" Rapunzel said with a confused tone.
"No, before that." Orion said to Rapunzel.
"Some people don't realize spreading the pain doesn't make it better?" Rapunzel said, still confused.
"Way before that." Orion said with a wave of his hand.
"Not every victim has to be a destroyer?" Rapunzel finally said.
"Right that one!" Orion pointed. "Destroyer! You just sparked an idea I don't think even all of the Van Helsings of the Multiverse have ever thought of!"
"And what idea is that?" Rapunzel asked, now very confused.
"Do you remember the Destroyer Armor from Odin's vault?" Orion reminded Rapunzel of a special Thor comic.
"I think so. Why?" Rapunzel asked.
"Think about it. A twelve feet tall enchanted armor that's indestructible to anything known in existence." Orion recalled and then he told Rapunzel. "I need you to talk to Valkyrie the next time you see her. Is she still at the castle?"
"Yes. She and T'Challa are still here in Corona, along with Danielle and Claire." Rapunzel answered her brother. "However, Lucas and Kara had to return home for more training tomorrow."
"That's fine. Hogwarts and Jedi car key lessons are paramount. But when you can. Tell Valkyrie that I need the Destroyer armor. Tell her to convince Odin to lend it to me." Orion urged. "He'll understand since I'm using it to bring down the Wulver."
"Really? How?"Rapunzel asked with astonishment.
"Think about it. They don't call it The Destroyer because of its expensive oil bills. It's indestructible. The Wulver on the other hand isn't. And since Valkyrie said only a true keyblade wielder can bring the Wulver down." Orion leaned forward and grinned. "Imagine putting Yozora in that armor."
Rapunzel's eyes widened in realization.
"Of course! With that armor in Verum Rex's hands, the Wulver wouldn't even stand a chance!" Rapunzel beamed in understanding.
"Bingo! Plus once it's dead. The Wolf cub can finally be free to join his brethren in...Well whatever's paradise for Norse animals." Orion stated and added. "Also I'll be home by tomorrow night. I'll try to get home early considering all that's happening but given that the Maverick's needed like bus tokens to Walgreens. I can't promise anything. Is my female understudy treating you well?"
"Oh, very well. She's been incredible." Rapunzel Rapunzel said with a big smile.
"But I'm still the top dog, right?" Orion inquired as he sounded a little competitive.
"Of course you are, little bro." Rapunzel said with a good-natured eyeroll and smirk.
"Damn straight. Anyhow." Orion said and yawned as he stretched his arms. "It's time to turn in. Big finale tomorrow with an obvious Deus Ex Machina on the way to kick some furry ass later."
"Then we'll turn in too." Rapunzel said before speaking to Varian. "Say goodnight Varian."
"Goodnight, Varian." Varian chimed with a cute yawn.
"Oh, Varian. You're so adorable." Rapunzel giggled and gave him a kiss on the cheek before addressing Orion. "Goodnight, Ryan. I love you."
"I love you too, Zel. See you tomorrow." Orion smiled.
And then the video chat ended.
After that Varian looked up at Rapunzel with hope in his light blue eyes. He didn't want to sleep tonight without his big sister.
"Stay tooonite?" Varian asked
Rapunzel giggled at his cuteness.
"Of course you can stay here tonight, sweetie." Rapunzel said softly with a soft smile.
Varian gave his big smile and wrapped his tiny arms around her waist. At least as much as his arms could. And he rested his head against his big sister's chest. Rapunzel smiled softly as she held him close to her and pulled the covers over the both of them.
"Goodnight, Varian." Rapunzel said softly to her baby brother.
"Night night. Wuv you Rappy..." Varian whispered as he slowly started to drift off to sleep.
Pascal was already asleep in his hanging bed the whole time. But then he woke up briefly to smile at the sight. And crawl down to Rapunzel's shoulder to join in the warmth.
"I love you too, Baby Bro." Rapunzel said even more softly as she herself let sleep claim her.
Despite the odds. The Princess was confident that things would turn up well in the end. Especially since she's got the best of the best looking into this. Especially with Rocket narrowing down possibilities with the right info they got from the pirate world.
If anything, Jack Sparrow was right. The winds seem to be turning in their favor. Despite the odds. It's all in their favor. Rapunzel had faith.

Took me a while to perfect the character interactions between these folks. Originally I was going to have Danielle recognized. But then I realized that wouldn't make sense considering that she was in her Stormur suit the last time and she already apologized to everyone with Claire and the Guardians supporting her redemption.
Especially considering that I had Dianex do the same thing as mentioned in the previous Aiden One Shots.
It's not like Jack and his crew would've recognized Danielle . And besides, Elizabeth and Barbosa's crew were the only residents of this world to see Danielle outside of her Stormur form.
So I decided to keep the focus on the current plot.
If anyone noticed. I based the Wulver on the ones from the God Of War games. Only I made this one harder to kill since it's the humanoid source of the curse.
But if anyone saw the Tangled episode. Then you already know who the Werewolf is. Remember the Werewolf and the Wulver are two different people. 👌😉
"You mean creatures?" Maveress inquired.
Oh well one's a person and the other's a creature but…Whatever. ️
Plus I've made Kara sort of like Kena from the Bridge Of Spirits game. Only with a touch of 'Jedi Fallen Order's' force echo senses. Nice touch, huh?
And yes if you caught the hint of Orion's idea. There will be a fight between the Wulver and Verum Rex in the Destroyer Armor. 😁👌
And the next chapter will include the rest of the scenes from the episode. But with some slight differences to let it fit in with what's already established here.
"I think the readers know the drill. So let's wrap it up already. I'm late for a ' . ' date with Claire." Maveress insisted.💋
