Shazam was a pretty good film with some good laughs. At first, I thought the disabled kid was going to be the hero, but no, it's Billy Batson. I guess I should've paid more attention to the trailers. Roger made fun of me for thinking this, like he would. Typical Roger.
So, Billy is a 14-year old foster kid. He connects to his disabled foster brother really well. Billy turns into Shazam after he says the hero's name after meeting a wizard, who was the old Shazam. He can turn back into a kid by uttering 'Shazam', and then when Billy wants to turn back, says it again, and so on.
There is a bad guy who wants his powers for himself. Will he succeed? Watch to find out!
If you want a good time, and a somewhat light-hearted DC superhero movie, this movie is for you. If not, then, there you go I guess. You might think of Big a little bit when you see this, because of you know, a kid turning into an adult. Which reminds me, Little comes out on the 12th. I don't think I'll review that, not because I think it'll be a bad film, just might not review it because just might not review it. I don't have to review every movie, do I? That'll take forever, and I don;t have time for that. Maybe, but doubtful. Sorry. If you're disappointed about it. I'm just putting the info out there. You're welcome.
