Chapter Nine: Who's Fault is This Again?
Ranma and Akane were very confused when Sakura walked out of the foyer and took her envelope and picture with her. "Why did Sayuri leave her a picture? Is there something about the picture which we should know? What was in the letter? Did you get to see it before she went upstairs?" asked Ranma.
Akane started shaking her head all through the questions Ranma had been asking her.
"Has she been thinking about them as she was walking away? If she did, can you please tell me what she was saying about my best friend?" asked Akane in turn. Ranma shook his head like Akane had been doing.
"No, she hadn't been thinking a thing, and she never spoke in her head or aloud as she was walking out of the room."
"I am confused because she would have been thinking about it or something. There is no way she could be reading or seeing something and not say or think a thing. I am not sure that is possible"
Akane shrugged her shoulders. "Well, it seems like she can do just that since you and I are both standing here in the dark concerning Sayuri and your sister." Mentioned Akane.
"I need some time to think about this. I'll be taking a bath. Okay, Akane?"
Akane thought to herself and had not been paying Ranma any attention. "Huh? What did you say Ranma?"
"A bath, I'm going to take a bath and think about this."
"I think that would be a good idea, I need one too." Added Akane. Ranma glared at Akane for a few moments.
"Akane, I said I was going to take a bath, why did you say that would be a good idea and you need one too?" asked Ranma.
Akane focused on what Ranma was saying and glared at him. "I meant the bath would be nice, I never said I'd join you. I would since I know you are a girl half of the time. I am just not ready for that from my fiance." Laughed Akane slapping him on the back.
"I was just making sure you knew what you were saying." Included Ranma covering up.
"Pervert, how can you think such a thing?" Akane mentioned with a slight smile on her face.
"I was not thinking it, I said it out loud. Had I thought it, Sakura would know that we are wondering about her and the letter and picture." Said Ranma.
"Oh yeah, that's true. While you are thinking about it. I'll go first. I'll try to save you some hot water." Akane mentioned as she went to her room.
"I am not sure what the hell just happened." Thought Ranma.
"What just happened was you and Akane seemed to be fighting. At least from what I have been hearing." Said Sakura coming down the stairs. Ranma turned and noticed she was empty-handed.
"Hey, sis." Ranma stated in a singsong fashion.
Sakura arched her eyebrows at him. "Is there anything, in particular, you want to know about brother dear? Oh, bear in mind, I will not tell you about what I was given by Sayuri." laughed Sakura.
Ranma's crestfallen look must have been what caused her to laugh. "Sis, we're twins." Began Ranma.
"I know that we're twins. I was there when it happened." Added Sakura. Ranma searched for another way to approach this.
"I love you and you love me right sis?" smiled Ranma.
Sakura not taking the bait smiled, and stated, "Yes I do. Get to your point before I go back upstairs. By the way, if you ask me about the letter, I will leave."
"Sakura I am just going to come out and say it, we usually don't keep secrets from each other, why are you keeping this one from me?" ended Ranma smiling again. "See I never mentioned the letter." Thought Ranma.
"You do realize that thinking about it is the same as saying it when it comes to our being able to hear each other's thoughts, right Ranma?" Sakura smiled her evilest grin.
Ranma nearly fainted since the color ran out of his face. "I…hadn't…thought…about…that, sis." Stammered Ranma.
"I know brother dear I was listening." Said Sakura as she turned and walked back up the stairs leaving her brother staring after her.
"Damn, that didn't work at all as I had planned." Thought Ranma.
"No, it didn't," stated Sakura. As he watched her leave, Kasumi called from the back of the house,
"Dinner's ready." Ranma's stomach instantly growled.
"Oh well, I am hungry anyway." Thought Ranma walking to the back of the house.
********** The Minakan Household **********
"Yes, mother I had a good time at the movies with Teyo." Began Sayuri as she talked to her mother on the phone.
"No, we weren't out late, I am talking to you from home. Yes, mother, Akane, and I just dropped Teyo and Mayuka off at the train station." Sighed Sayuri.
"He and Mayuka had to go back home to Tokyo, they were here to visit with Ranma and Sakura, their cousins."
Sayuri rolled her eyes as she stared at the phone. "I will take care of the house, yes mother everything is fine. See you later this weekend. Bye, mom, I love you too."
Sayuri calmly placed the phone on the receiver and thought to herself. "I wish mom wasn't so protective, I can take care of myself."
After hanging up the phone Sayuri busied herself for a while as she cleaned the house just like her mother had asked her to. All the while her mind and thoughts were not on her work but on a certain someone she found to be special to her. Unfortunately, when your thoughts are not on your work you tend to screw things up and have to do them again.
"I am so looking forward to the next time, he'll be here. I would love to get to know him a little bit more than I already have. I hope I didn't scare him away by being so forward with him. I hope we can become an item soon, since I really, really like him." Her thoughts remained with Teyo for the rest of the day as she continued her chores around the house.
********** Tendo Household A few days later**********
Akane was sitting in the living room overlooking the garden. She seemed to be deep in thought.
Ranma sat down next to her and watched as she continued to stare off into the garden. "I wonder what she's thinking about?" Ranma thought to himself.
"She is probably thinking about the same thing you have been thinking about the last few days." Piped in Sakura.
As usual, Ranma jumped and nearly scared Akane when she turned and noticed he was sitting there. "How long have you been sitting there?" Screamed Akane holding her mallet high above her head.
"I really would like to know where she keeps that thing?" wondered Ranma as he backpedaled away from the easily agitated fiancé he had inherited.
"Just a few seconds, I only jumped because Sakura said something into my mind I was not expecting." Stated Ranma holding up his hands in front of him.
Akane noticed he was genuinely afraid, so she quickly stowed the mallet and just walked over to Ranma and smacked him over the head. "Let someone know you are sitting next to them. You could have given me a heart attack." Akane said.
"I totally understand the feeling." Thought Ranma as he felt his heart start beating again.
Sakura entered the room a few moments later and smiled at both Akane and Ranma as they were facing off with each other. Sakura said nothing and just walked past them and entered the foyer before opening the front door and leaving.
Ranma knowing this was probably the stupidest thing he would do, got up and walked to the foyer just as the door was closing. "Sis where are you going?" thought Ranma.
A few moments later an answer came, "I am going to see Sayuri, don't go anywhere you don't want to be seen, since I'll be changing in a few when I see her. Try to stay put since you won't know when I change or when I'll be changing back." Ranma thought about this.
"Do you have hot water with you?" asked Ranma.
"Yes I do, and I have a bottle of cold water as well for when I want to change back." Answered Sakura.
"You could always let me know when you're changing and I'll make myself scarce so as not to startle anyone."
"I could but I like the mystery of the whole situation." Thought Sakura.
"I could also just stay in the tub of hot water preventing you from changing," Ranma said trying to one-up his sister.
"We are going to have to try that one of these days and see if that would prevent us from changing." Agreed Sakura.
"Why is she going to go see Sayuri?" Ranma asked out loud so as not to tip off, or tick off his sister.
Akane walked in and heard Ranma talking about Sakura going to see Sayuri. "Why is she going to see Sayuri, Didn't they go to the movies a few days ago? Didn't she say that Teyo and Mayuka would not be returning for a few weeks or so? Why is she changing her mind after only a few days?" Akane asked Ranma as she stopped in front of him.
"I have no idea, she just decided to go over, and she'll be turning into Teyo."
Akane watched as Ranma began to really think about what his sister was doing. "I feel like working out." Thought Akane.
She turned and walked into the dojo. Ranma decided, "What the hell, me too." He mentioned joining her.
Ranma walked in and watched as Akane was preparing for her workout. He called to her and waved letting her know he was there. She calmly waved back as she was bending forward to touch her toes. "Care to spar for a bit Akane? Asked Ranma.
Akane looked up and nodded before standing and walking to the sidewall and picking up a couple of weapons. "Do you ever use weapons, or do you and Sakura mostly use hand-to-hand?"
"Sakura and I primarily use hand-to-hand since they are the easiest weapons to use and require no preparation to use."
Akane nodded her head. She then replaced them along the sidewall and walked into the middle of the dojo and faced Ranma.
"When you and Sakura spar, is there anything, in particular, you work on? Asked Akane.
"Nothing, in particular, we just try to see if we can one-up the other and get the better of them. She and I are fairly even, we usually can't surprise the other since we can now hear each other's thoughts." Added Ranma. "Why the questions?" Asked Ranma.
Before she answered, Akane took her mind off of Ranma and thought a moment before realizing she should not have done that. He quickly rushed in and almost hit her in the stomach.
Luckily, she was able to block the shot and suffered having to take the full force of the blow. She slid back a few feet before stopping a mere six inches from the wall. Ranma had a smirk on his face as he watched her come to a stop.
"I was not paying attention. He knew I was thinking of an answer to his question." Thought Akane as she watched as he got set again before lunging at her feet causing her to try to jump over him.
Ranma knew she was going to jump and stepped under her and quickly backflipped and caught her in the back. This caused her to fly over him as he completed his flip. She sprawled onto the floor and skidded a few feet.
"Are you okay Akane?" asked Ranma landing and turning towards her.
Almost straining he heard a muffled voice coming from the floor. "First, I just wanted to know what you and Sakura usually do when practicing. Second, that freaking hurt."
He watched as she tried to stand but remained slumped down on the floor. She just stayed there flat on her stomach. "Fourthly, I can't feel a thing since I think my body is either in shock or broken."
Ranma walked around until he could see her face, he then bent down, "You meant thirdly right?" asked Ranma.
"What…..the…..fuck…..ever. If…..I…..could…..move…..I…..would…...kick…..your…..ass…..right…..now." Akane slowly said.
"I am not sure you –" Ranma watched as Akane quickly jumped up and was facing him. He noticed that she had a surprised look on her face, and was still in a position like she was frozen. He watched as she opened her mouth.
Nothing was coming out.
Outside a few dogs started howling and some of the neighbor's animals started barking loudly. Ranma saw her fall forward and nearly hit her face on the floor again had he not caught her.
"I thought she couldn't feel her body. How the hell was she able to move like that despite the pain? I would guess she was definitely in pain and just didn't have the strength to make a sound."
Ranma slowly placed her back onto her stomach and walked to the sideboard and retrieved a towel. He placed it under her face so she wasn't against the floor. He then walked to the side and opened the patio door leading to the garden, sat down, and waited for Akane to recover. A few moments later, he felt his body change. "She must be close to Sayuri's place." Mentioned Ranma placing his legs under him as he got comfortable.
********** Other Side of Nerima **********
Sakura laughed as she heard her brother dealing with Akane. "One of these days, she will probably kick his ass." Said Sakura out loud.
As she walked along she saw that she was getting closer and closer to Sayuri's home. She turned into an alley. She rummaged into her backpack and pulled out the thermos of water she had been carrying. Upending the bottle, she poured just enough to trigger her change. Once completed she stowed the rest of the bottle and then quickly changed her clothes.
She removed her pants and placed them into the bag. Looking down she realized she had forgotten her underwear. She was wearing underwear but not the kind for clothes she was about to put on. "Ranma is so lucky, that Chinese clothes fit him well, they are usually loose-fitting on me since most Chinese women wear them loose.
I prefer form-fitting over loose, it really accentuates the curves I used to have. Hopefully, Sayuri doesn't find out I'm wearing panties instead of briefs or boxers." Teyo told himself looking at his muscular physique.
Sayuri was in the living room reading a book. She was startled when she heard the doorbell. "I wonder who that could be? Mom and dad are not due back until Friday. I mean today is…..Wednesday" Thought Sayuri finding the calendar.
Opening the door, her heart almost stopped as she took in the sight of the one person she had been thinking about since this past Sunday had ended. "Teyo?! What are you doing here? I thought you weren't going to be back for a few weeks since you had school?" Asked Sayuri before finally taking a breath.
"If that was when you were expecting me, I could leave and wait a few weeks before coming here and visiting you," Teyo said playfully as he turned to leave.
Sayuri quickly rushed out and grabbed him by the arm and pulled him back and playfully slapped him on the back of his muscular shoulders. "Don't go, I am really happy you are here. I was just not expecting you. Please come in."
Teyo was not surprised when she insisted. What surprised him was being yanked almost into the living room by an overly excited Sayuri. He quickly took off his shoes and left them by the front door. Looking up, he saw that Sayuri had one of the biggest smiles he had ever seen on her.
After she had released him, he watched as she calmly stepped back, and with her hands behind her, she smiled again. "I wasn't expecting you so soon. Forgive me, I am really happy to see you again Teyo." Mentioned Sayuri as she rocked back and forth on her heels.
Teyo saw how she was acting and thought to himself, and Ranma now Mayuka, "How would you feel if I were to tell her who we are?
Mayuka sitting next to a prone Akane considered Teyo's proposition.
"Bear in mind, she likes you as a guy, and might not like it that you are actually a girl. I mean you might be bisexual as you just learned, but she might not want that. In the end, she might not be like you Teyo. The bisexual part I mean."
Teyo thought that through for a moment and noticed that Sayuri had been watching him as he was thinking, she was still smiling. "What are you thinking about Teyo," asked Sayuri as she stepped next to Teyo and caressed his arm before holding and then leaning on it.
Teyo noticed the hot feeling coursing through his body causing other parts of his body to react. "Not now, this is not the right time for that." Thought Teyo to himself.
"Well then if this is not the right time then when should you tell her?"
Realizing he had thought that and Mayuka heard him, "I'll let you know when I am going to tell her, if ever, okay Mayuka?
"Sure, We'll work on it and determine when the time would be right for her to know. By the way, you were talking to me, right? I only answered because I thought you wanted me to comment." Added Mayuka.
"It was an accident but I am glad you answered since I had been wondering about that since yesterday."
Listening Mayuka stated," Sure, anytime, glad to help. Hopefully, Akane gets up soon, I am worried I might have hurt her really bad."
"Are you sure you want to be there when she is able to move again?" Thought Teyo.
Mayuka stood quickly and watched Akane to see if she would be stirring around any time soon. "I think I'll be fine she hasn't moved a muscle…..Yet" Thought Mayuka.
"Yet." Thought Teyo as he looked down at Sayuri giving him her sad eyes look. "Anyone ever told you that you are beautiful?" asked Teyo. Sayuri blushed a pink hue but nodded her head,
"Yes, I have been told that many times, mostly by family. However, it sounds much more sincere coming from someone to which I am not related."
As she spoke she pulled him down towards her and kissed Teyo on the cheek. Taken aback, he turned towards her and asked, "What was that for?"
"That my dear Teyo was for being extra sweet to me, even when you really didn't have to be."
Teyo watched as Sayuri pulled him towards the couch and sat down pulling him in beside her. "Is this okay, or did you want to sit somewhere else?"
"Actually, sitting here next to you is exactly where I wanted to be just then."
Sayuri smiled again as she placed her head on Teyo's shoulder and just held his arm and his hand cradled in her lap as they sat there for a few moments just soaking it in.
"Do you like me?" asked Sayuri quietly.
Teyo hearing every word, turned his head and asked, "What did you say Sayuri? Taking another deep breath, Sayuri turned to Teyo, and before she could say a word his lips were pressed against her mouth in the deepest kiss she had ever felt.
Her mind quickly raced and compared all of their previous kisses. This one beat them all. Even the ones she started when they were in the theatre.
"Does that answer your question?" asked Teyo breaking the kiss. Sayuri caught up in her thoughts and just stayed leaning against his chest just catching her breath.
"Damn, that was some kiss. I loved it but I don't think you can top it. I don't think it's possible."
Before she could say another word she was lifted up and placed in his lap straddling his knees. She looked down before looking into his face and he planted his luscious lips against hers again as he pulled her down deeper into her lap. She felt his tongue exploring places she never thought she had in her mouth.
The rest of her was on fire from the heat building up in her loins as she was pressed against his, and she felt his desire for her as well.
"Was that better than the last one?" asked Teyo again breaking the kiss, and loosening his grip on her lower back.
"Sayuri stayed leaning on his chest like before except this time she slowly moved her hips as she sat in Teyo's lap. "It was wonderful Teyo. I believe you topped it, so I was wrong."
After sitting comfortably in his lap for a few seconds. "I would ask you to top it again but I believe a change of location and change of attire may be in order. Don't you think?" asked Sayuri batting her eyes at Teyo. He could only smile as she pulled her closer, this time just holding her and rocking her back and forth.
"Yes sweetie, I believe you are right," Teyo commented holding her close.
********** Tendo Practice Hall, Other Side of Nerima **********
Despite the distance, Mayuka felt the heat emanating from Teyo. "Boy, he really must be getting worked up, If I can feel that. Hmm, I wonder if it's just thoughts we can hear, can we feel sensations too?" Asked Mayuka out loud so as not to disturb Teyo's quality time with Sayuri.
"Raaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnmmmmmmaaa," Mayuka heard the muffled sound of his name. He turned and saw Akane trying to turn her head towards her.
"I am Mayuka at the moment Akane." Corrected Mayuka.
"I really don't give a shit who you are at the moment, you are a dead man, I mean girl, I mean man." She intoned as she slowly tried standing. Her strength left her again and she started back down to the floor, but Mayuka was quicker and caught her about an inch from the floor.
"Would you like some help Akane?" asked Mayuka.
"Yes, I would, burying your body after I kill you for nearly killing me is a two-person job. Since you'll be the deceased, I'll need someone else to help me." Akane mentioned through gritted teeth as she tried standing again.
"This time I'm going to help you up, okay Akane?" Akane could only slowly nod her head as Mayuka put her hands under her breasts from behind and lifted her back to her feet.
When she was planted on her feet. Mayuka made sure she was balanced before removing her hands and taking a step back. Akane moved her arms slightly outward to help her with her balance.
"Thank you Mayuka, I am going to go to my room, and probably collapse onto my bed for the rest of the afternoon until dinner."
Watching her, Mayuka winced when she almost hit the floor taking her first towards the door of the dojo. "Okay, for the record I never meant to hit you that hard. I am sorry."
Akane still facing the door, "I know you're sorry for hitting me, just remember, you have to sleep sometime."
Mayuka watched but never saw whether she was joking or not. "We were sparring, how is this my fault again?" Mayuka called out.
"Son of a bitch, how is this my fault? Thought Mayuka.
"Since what you're talking about involves Akane, it's your fault just on principle." Answered Teyo.
"I felt some heat coming from our connection, were you two having sex or something like that?"
"No, Mayuka, we weren't having sex, close to it, but not actually sex. Why do you ask?"
"I am asking because I felt the hotness emanating from our connection and I couldn't think of any other actions that would have caused such a feeling except sex."
"It was Sayuri that started it, she said I couldn't top our kiss a little bit ago. So, I showed her that I could. I may have used my body to boost her up, but that was just to overshadow the kiss."
"Are you sure it wasn't your fault Teyo?" asked Mayuka.
Teyo from his point of view could only smile as he continued rocking a sleeping Sayuri that was still straddling his lap.
He noticed she was still grinding into his lap as she slept. "I guess she is dreaming about us." Smiled Teyo.
