Chapter Eleven: This is Another Fine Mess
Sayuri blinked a few times really quickly as she looked from Teyo to Akane, and back again. "What are you thinking right now Sayuri?" asked Mayuka.
Sayuri turned towards Mayuka and blinked a few times while looking at her.
"When did you get here? I didn't see you come in. How did Sakura become Teyo? I don't mind that he's here but what the hell is going on here?" Sayuri asked in quick succession.
Teyo and Mayuka turned and looked at each other. "You handle the change while I keep her attention." Said Teyo.
"Ok, you got it," Mayuka stated.
"Sayuri, I am here because I am trying to tell you something." Stated Teyo rubbing the back of his head. Sayuri turned towards Teyo and her heart started beating really fast.
"What did you want to talk about?" She asked as she stood beside him and held his arm leaning against it. As Teyo spoke Mayuka picked up the cup of hot water and doused herself triggering the change.
Sayuri felt the change happen and noticed she was no longer leaning against someone tall but someone about the same height as she was. She opened her eyes and saw that she was now holding Sakura's arm. She had also noticed that Ranma was here and Mayuka wasn't there anymore.
She could only stand there with her mouth moving but no words were coming out.
Sakura and Ranma were watching her for signs of either shock, annoyance, anger, or some other type of emotion. They didn't have to wait long.
They watched as Sayuri took in a deep breath and then screamed, "You are Teyo!"
Sakura noticed she still held her arm and nearly tugged it out of the socket as she was shaking the arm up and down.
"Yes I am, I can explain Sayuri." Began Sakura.
Sayuri still holding her arm stopped shaking her and looked directly at Sakura with an angry look on her face. Sakura not knowing what to do looked toward Ranma and thought, "Help me, if she goes off on me."
"Can I have all of your stuff when she kills you?" Thought Ranma with a sheepish grin on his face.
Sakura turned immediately from Sayuri to Ranma, "If she doesn't kill me, I am going to kill you." Thought Sakura.
"Well at least one of us is inheriting something before the day is out." Thought Ranma.
Before Sakura could respond, she was again pulled from looking at Ranma to looking directly at Sayuri. She noticed she still had an angry look on her face.
"You are Teyo!" Sayuri screamed again.
Sakura gulped before nodding her head since her voice failed her. Sayuri pulled Sakura towards her by the arm she had been holding.
Ranma closed his eyes since he didn't want to see his sister being killed in front of him. Sakura felt herself being pulled not only closer to Sayuri but to another part of the locker room.
A few seconds passed, so she dared to open her eyes. She heard water being poured and opened her eyes just in time for Sayuri to splash her with cold water from the thermos she had placed on the bench between the lockers.
He quickly brushed the water from his eyes with his free hand and was caught off guard when he was suddenly hugged and kissed by Sayuri. "I have been waiting all week to see you, and now I find out you have been here the whole time. You and I are going to have a serious talk when we get some time." Scolded Sayuri.
Teyo just nodded. "Mayuka, I can see you are here as well and are also Ranma. I want to hear the whole story later. Right now, we have to go back outside and have lunch. I am starving." Stated Sayuri with a big smile on her face.
Teyo felt bad as Sayuri made to walk outside pulling him with her. "Sayuri, I need to change back before going to lunch. Remember that Teyo and Mayuka do not attend this school." Sayuri stopped and thought for a moment.
"I really want to have lunch with you. I have been waiting to see you since last week. Can't you change back later." Pouted Sayuri swinging their interlocked hands.
"I would love to have lunch with you, but Sakura and Ranma need to go outside for lunch. We can plan for another date later as we walk home from school is that okay?" asked Teyo.
"Okay, but walking home, I want to walk with Teyo, which means you walk home as Mayuka." Stated Sayuri looking at Mayuka.
"I am definitely okay with that. Enjoy your time together, okay Sayuri?" stammered Mayuka.
"Thank you Mayuka, you can change back now." Said Sayuri.
Mayuka reached for the water and poured a cup. At the same time, Sayuri quickly pulled Teyo in and kissed him deeply before he changed back into Sakura.
Sakura was a bit surprised when the kiss didn't end when she changed. Sayuri kept the kiss going for a few more seconds before breaking apart.
Sakura watched as Sayuri looked to the ceiling thinking. "I think Teyo kisses better than you do Sakura. He just pushes the right buttons when I am kissing him." Sakura didn't really know how to take that.
"Believe me, you push a few buttons when we were kissing but different ones than Teyo." Stated Sayuri releasing her hand.
"I think she likes you and Teyo." Thought Ranma smiling.
"I am glad she does because I didn't want to die today." Intoned Sakura.
********** Central Nerima – Shopping Center **********
"You are so cute my granddaughter is going to love having you as a pet." Cooed Ms. Okami.
Ryoga instantly perked up when he heard that he was going to be a pet. He tried to get out of her grasp but was not able to break her grip on him. After a few moments of tugging and scratching, he was placed on a table.
He was instantly garbed in a mini-sized Gi with a little black belt attached to it. Looking at his clothes he just marveled at the attire speechless, or as speechless as a pig could be. "This is another fine mess you've gotten me into Ranma. I will get you for everything I have had to endure since leaving China." Thought Ryoga.
Ryoga contemplated the situation for a little bit as he was carried from store to store. Each time he looked at a few of the clothes he was going to be needing once he changed back into a boy. "My granddaughter is going to love you. You are so precious," Cooed Ms. Okami.
During their trek through the shopping center, Ryoga endured her constant talking about her granddaughter. He tried his hardest to ignore her and her meaningless bantering. He did dial in when he heard her mention / asked when the little piggy had eaten last.
A few minutes later he was sitting at the table outside of a Ramen restaurant and was slowly chowing down on an order of teriyaki noodles and beef. "One problem solved, at least when I find him I won't be hungry." Thought the famished pig.
As he was eating, he was only interrupted once when Ms. Okami picked him up and looked at him all over. Ryoga blushed red because he was not wearing any pants in this form. He knew he had to get back to the store and get his backpack which held his usual clothing.
Ryoga ate happily, thankfully oblivious to Ms. Okami's ramblings once she placed him back onto the table.
"Hm, I wonder if the veterinarian's clinic is open. I can't have you having babies." Stated Ms. Okami.
"This is some good beef, I should get their recipe, this is really good." Thought Ryoga as he turned his attention from the beef back to the noodles.
"Isn't that nice, little piggy?" asked Ms. Okami holding Ryoga up. Ryoga smiled at her but then look at his bowl.
There were still some noodles and beef he wanted to get back to. "You must really be hungry, when we're finished I'll call and make an appointment."
Once he touched the table, he walked back over to the bowl and like a dog, tried to make up for lost time. She finished eating and picked up her phone and called the vet's office.
Ryoga finished his food and walked over to a napkin on the table and wiped his face. Ms. Okami watched the pig wiping his face. She reached over and picked him up and placed him in her lap.
Ryoga felt tired, so he snuggled into her lap since he wasn't able to get away since she had a chain around his neck and around her wrist. She reminded Ryoga of a cartoon he had seen when he was younger.
Some girl was always very crazy when she was around animals, or aminals as she sometimes called them. She went to some school where the rest of the characters went. "Oh well, I need to get some sleep." Thought Ryoga as he fell asleep with a full stomach.
"You had a cancellation, good, good. I can be there in an hour. No problem, thanks. I'll see you then, bye." Said Ms. Okami, as she hung up her phone and placed it in her handbag.
"You will be a little sore sweetie, but you'll be all right." Ryoga snored slightly as he dreamt of beating Ranma to a bloody pulp.
********** Furinken High School **********
Teyo and Sayuri walked from the school hand in hand as Mayuka and Akane walked next to them. "Has anyone seen Ryoga since this morning when we arrived at school?" Asked Mayuka.
Everyone else shook their heads. "Once we went inside and were all on fire duty because of our lateness, I hadn't seen him since." Stated Teyo as Sayuri leaned against his arm while they were walking.
"Just wondering. He'll turn up eventually." Mentioned Mayuka.
"Mayuka, why did he try to kill you earlier?" asked Akane.
"When we lived in Hokkaido, Ishiyama Prefecture. I was challenged by Ryoga Hibiki. That's his name. I waited for a couple of days before going back home. He never showed up and I just gave up waiting for him. He has always had trouble with directions and finding places." Stated Mayuka.
"Why didn't he show up?" asked Akane.
"I am not really sure. He lived around the corner from where we were supposed to meet. With his sense of direction, walking across the street was a challenge for him."Said Mayuka looking around for the lost boy.
"That must be terrible, not having a good sense of direction. How did he get around when he needed to go places?" asked Sayuri.
"There are times when some of the kids that lived near him would walk with him to school just so he'd make it. Ranma and I have both helped him a few times when we were younger." Answered Teyo with a grimace.
"Okay that explains why he didn't show up, but what made him want to challenge you in the first place?" asked Sayuri.
"It was an accident he didn't wake up when we were on our way to school. I thought he was sick so I continued on to school," stated Mayuka.
Sayuri watched as Mayuka shook her head as she had been speaking about Ryoga.
Teyo picked up the story, "We had final exams that week. Well, we found out from his father that he left and tried to get to school himself. He got lost and missed the next week and a half."
Sayuri and Akane both grimaced when they figured out what happened because he missed the exams.
Both Teyo and Mayuka nodded yes, "He missed the exams and was left back a grade because of his bad sense of direction." Concluded Mayuka.
"He has hated us for him having to repeat the seventh grade again. Actually, he blames Ranma, he doesn't fault me for his problem. I was in a different class than they were. We were in the same grade but different classes." Added Teyo.
"Why has he held this grudge for so long? Why has he tracked you down here? If his sense of direction is so bad, how do you think he found you?" Asked Akane.
"Those are good questions, next time we see him, we'll ask him.
Everyone seemed to get quiet once their conversation concerning Ryoga ended. "Teyo, are you having a good time with Sayuri by your side?" Thought Mayuka walking on the fence.
"Yes, I am happy, she is very understanding about our situation." Teyo thought back squeezing her hand.
Feeling Teyo's squeezing of her hand, she squeezed and smiled back at him. "I am just glad she handled our telling her about the curse as well as she did." Thought Teyo.
"I think she was surprised by the number of people that she now knows that have been cursed. I mean you, me, and pop for instance." Thought Mayuka.
"Do you think everything will be better now that Sayuri knows about the curse Sakura and I have?" asked Mayuka as she was walking on the fence next to Akane.
"From what I have seen, they seem to be even better than before. I mean now that she knows he's close by they can go out anytime they want to." Stated Akane.
Mayuka and Akane turned towards the couple. Teyo and Sayuri were oblivious to the other two talking about them. "Thanks for not killing me earlier. I am glad everything worked out." Whispered Teyo since Sayuri was really close to him.
"The night is young, I still might." Teyo was curious about Sayuri's statement.
"Why do you say that Sayuri?" asked Teyo.
He watched as an evil expression crossed her face. Leaning in she said, "Several reasons I could still kill you tonight." Smiled Sayuri.
"Why didn't you tell me sooner? You had me pining for the next time you'd come by again to visit your cousins. I spilled my guts to you as Sakura about how much I missed you and I find out I could have been spending time with you since we had met. Like I said before, I still may rip your nuts off and feed them to you." Evilly smiled Sayuri.
"Hmm, if I rip them off and you become Sakura, would you grow another set when you change back to Teyo?" wondered Sayuri out loud.
"What the heck is she talking about Teyo?" asked Mayuka.
Akane turned towards her best friend and blushed at the conversation they were having. "Sayuri, why would you do that to Teyo? I thought you really liked him." Asked Akane.
"I do like him very much Akane, it's just that he knew I wanted to see him badly and he was here the whole time. I am just letting him know there are consequences when my emotions and potential date times are being fucked with." Sayuri laughed evilly again.
"Here another fine mess I've gotten myself into." Thought Teyo.
"That's a record Teyo." Thought Mayuka. "It has now been two weeks since you last put your foot in your mouth. I still want your stuff if she-" Mayuka gulped as Sayuri pulled Teyo and was right in her face.
"You little missy, are not off the hook, you knew about this too, and you didn't tell until today. That goes for you as well." Scolded Sayuri.
Mayuka was confused, "What goes for me too? Asked Mayuka.
"I was telling Teyo that since he kept this little secret from me, I have the option of ripping his nuts off and feeding them to him. I recall that you can turn back into a boy, and I'll castrate you as well," mentioned Sayuri smiling
Teyo and Mayuka visibly gulped when Sayuri stated this pointing at them. Akane smiled slightly before Sayuri was quickly in her face as well. Her surprise was evident when she jumped back and threw her school bag in front of her to protect herself from Sayuri's wrath.
"Not bad Akane, I knew you could do it." Mentioned Mayuka.
Akane turned an angry look at her fiancé. Her confusion deepened when she realized she was looking at Mayuka dead in her eyes. "Why did you come down from the fence? You usually walk it until we get home." Mentioned Akane.
"Who said I jumped down." Said Mayuka pointing down.
Akane slowly look down and nearly panicked when she saw that she was now standing next to Mayuka on the fence. The fence was only about 4 inches across and she was surprised her balance hadn't failed her.
Akane quickly pushed Mayuka off of the fence and into the little river that ran alongside the fence. A few moments later after fishing Mayuka out of the water, she glared at Akane. "I am already a girl you didn't have to push me in."
Akane, Sayuri, and Teyo were all laughing as Mayuka stripped off her shirt and immediately wrung it out.
Sayuri blanched when Mayuka took her shirt off since she wasn't wearing a bra. "Do you always still act like a boy when you're in girl form?" Asked Sayuri.
"Actually, yes she does since she was originally a boy. It's hard to change those habits. Just like Mayuka right now, I am not wearing a bra." Teyo demonstrated by removing his shirt. Sayuri blushed again but for a different reason.
"Ranma and I don't wear one, since we can accidentally change at any time because of rain, that old woman that dumps her water when we're going to school every morning, the pool at school. Trust me, there are good reasons we don't wear one." Mentioned Teyo trying to put his shirt back on.
He had to contend with a mesmerized Sayuri rubbing his chest as they had stopped walking. Mayuka finished wringing the shirt and put it back on. Akane blushed slightly as she watched her best friend rubbing on Teyo's chest. "We need to get home we have a bit of homework to get done." Mentioned Akane turning and almost falling off the fence. Mayuka stifled a laugh as they proceeded to the Tendo home.
Finally replacing his shirt Teyo watched as Akane and Mayuka walked home on the fence. He saw that Mayuka only had to balance-check her a couple of times. "Would you like to come home, or do you want me to walk you to yours?" Asked Teyo pointing in the direction of the Tendo home and then towards her home.
"Yes please, walk me home. I can enjoy the extra time we'll share before we get there." Cooed Sayuri again grasping his arm.
Teyo smiled, then turned and began the short but long journey to Sayuri's place.
********** Nerima Veterinary Clinic **********
Ryoga woke up from his food-induced coma. He stretched fore and aft. In the middle of his enormous yawn, he looked around the room. He saw people sitting there with many different types of animals. Cats, Dogs, a turtle, another pig, she was pink, and a bird with long feathers.
Confused, he then looked at the rest of the room and wondered why he was in there. As he was scanning the room an attendant came to Ms. Okami and confirmed her veterinary appointment. "Ms. Okami are you here for a spaying or neutering?" asked the attendant.
"Neutering, my little piggy needs to be neutered."
Ryoga nearly burst a blood vessel when he heard what Ms. Okami had planned. His main concern was that the nuts she was talking about were attached to him. He preferred them to remain where they were.
He quickly scanned the room and look down and noticed she was not holding the chain that was around his neck. With all of his might, he pried the collar from around his neck. He was pretty sure that he scraped a bunch of his skin off, but he didn't care. He had other skin he was trying to save, so losing a bit from his neck was a much-needed sacrifice.
Ms. Okami felt the movement in her lap and reached down just as the little pig slipped the collar from around his neck. She reached for him but he bounded off her lap and ran for the front door of the clinic.
Ryoga thought to himself, "How the hell am I going to get out of that door, someone needs to open it for me." Just as he was about to lose hope and his nuts. Someone came into the clinic and opened the door. The door opened right in his face and he tried to swerve to avoid it, but instead slammed face-first into it.
He flopped onto the floor but recovered quickly and ran out of the door just as it was closing. Quick as a flash he darted around the corner and ran under the dumpster in the back and waited until Ms. Okami was no longer around.
He wasn't feeling so well since he just avoided getting his nuts cut off. He puked a couple of times before passing out.
A few hours later the sun had gone down and there was no one around the clinic when Ryoga crept out from under the dumpster. He hated Ranma even more for putting him through this. "This is another fine mess you've gotten me into Ranma." Thought Ryoga as he looked down the alley and picked a direction to travel down and look for him.
********** Elsewhere in Central Nerima **********
Teyo and Sayuri had sitting on the steps leading up to her house for a while. "I am glad that we can be together more now that I know you are always here." Cooed Sayuri leaning against Teyo chest and lap as the streetlights turned on.
"I am really sorry about keeping this from you. It has been hard to deal with. The biggest concern we have is when more people know about it, it can cause problems." Teyo mentioned holding Sayuri.
Sayuri turned her head up and looked at Teyo. "Are you sure that was the only reason you hesitated to tell me?"
"I had another reason why I did tell you. I was scared of how you would react when or if you knew I was actually a female that turned into a male. The good thing is that when the school had the gymnastics competition. Ranma faced her as a female and used our martial arts training to beat her." Smiled Teyo.
"I remember. Remind me to thank Ranma, I mean Mayuka properly for her having subbed for me that match."
"No problem, I'll let Mayuka know how you feel about it, now that you know the truth about us. Um, how would you properly thank Mayuka, if I may ask?"
Sayuri smiled coyly, "How would you feel if I kissed Mayuka like I have been kissing you?" Teyo's jaw dropped as he looked down at her.
She tried to hold her laughter in but failed. "The look on your face is priceless." Laughed Sayuri.
"I have no idea how but I need to let her know how much I appreciated her helping us out. Wiping that smirk off of Kodachi's face was worth it" Mentioned Sayuri.
A little black pig walked in front of the house. "Aw, isn't he cute, in his little martial arts outfit?"
As Sayuri talked about the pig, Teyo looked at the pig, "I wonder where he came from?"
"I have no idea. I can call the shelter and find out if they have a missing pig." Offered Sayuri as the pig continued walking past the house.
Ryoga thought madly to himself as he was walking around, "Ranma, you are such a coward, running out of our fight. What kind of martial artist are you? I would never run out on a challenge. You will soon learn my wrath."
Ryoga turned slightly and noticed a couple of kids sitting on the stairs. He heard one of them call him cute. He smiled, "I am a cute pig, but I am a more handsome man." Ryoga added as he continued walking.
Sayuri watched as the pig walked past. Teyo also watched the pig, "I hope he finds his owner if he has one." Stated Teyo.
Sayuri leaned back and kissed his chin. He then looked down and kissed her forehead.
"I think I need to go home we have been here for quite some time now." Sayuri frowned and audibly sighed.
"Remember Sayuri, I am still here for you to see and be with. I just need to get home for dinner, bath, and bed."
"um, I have a kitchen, bathroom and a bedroom. That would be a cure for the problems you just mentioned." Smiled Sayuri.
Teyo smiled as Sayuri offered her home to him but he slowly shook his head.
"I know, I am just feeling selfish since you deprived me of time, when you pretended to go home to the other side of Tokyo." Teyo smiled but said nothing.
"Give me a sec." stated Sayuri standing up and running inside.
Teyo stood and brushed himself off, and waited as Sayuri returned. "Just needed to get my handbag, we can go now. This time I am going to walk you home. Trust me I'll be fine walking back." Smiled Sayuri as Teyo extended his arm for her to hold as they walked.
"Coming home yet?" asked Mayuka.
"We;re actually on our way there right now." Thought Teyo.
********** Tendo Training Hall **********
"Coming home yet?" asked Mayuka. "We're actually on our way there right now." Mayuka thought about that for a second.
"Weren't you walking her home earlier?" Asked Mayuka.
"I was but then we called it a night and now she's returning the favor."
"Okay, see you in a bit." Concluded Mayuka.
"Did they go out again?" Asked Akane.
"No, I get the feeling they just sat around and just visited with each other."
"Do you think Sayuri likes Sakura?" asked Mayuka.
"Yes, I think she does like Teyo." Answered Akane.
"No, you misunderstood me. I asked if you thought Sayuri liked Sakura?" Mayuka countered.
"Akane stared at Mayuka for a few seconds, "I heard you, I think Sayuri really likes Teyo, they seem to make a good couple."
"Mayuka sighed heavily. "Um, Akane, I learned a few days ago that Sakura believes that she is bisexual and admitted she really likes Sayuri, not just when she's Teyo. She also likes her when she is a girl."
"Do you mean that kiss in the locker room this morning was not an accident because she changed when Sayuri was kissing Teyo?" asked Akane with widened eyes.
Mayuka took a few steps backward before talking again. "Um, no, Sayuri kissed Teyo while I was changing back because she wanted to kiss both of them. I noticed it when it happened." Admitted Mayuka.
"So, you're telling me you found out things about my best friend before I found out about it?" asked Akane glaring at Mayuka.
Mayuka gulped loudly and tried to step back again. She didn't go far since she found out she was up against a wall.
Thinking quickly, "I thought we found out at the same time, you were there when I changed and saw she was still kissing Sakura. She seemed to like it since she didn't stop." Added Mayuka.
"I mean it's not that big a deal I mean it is just like if you kissed me right now, it would be the…"
The look on Akane's face was possibly hard enough to melt steel. Mayuka realized her head was not made of steel. However, in the absence of steel, Akane felt his or her head would do.
Her mallet appeared and was about to come down really hard on her skull. "Oh boy, here's another fine mess I've gotten myself into." Thought Mayuka as the mallet came down and the front door opened.
Author's Note: If anyone has any ideas please let me know. I have the comics and am trying to be original. I don't want to repeat anything from the comics. Many people have done that. I hope you like the story and how it's progressing.
