Chapter Fourteen: Hitting the Fan?
Xian Pu looked out of the window. As she did her mind was full of the thoughts of the last time she saw the red-headed bitch that ruined her celebration. A celebration feast she rightfully won defeating all of the members of her village and a few others that decided to try their luck. Xian Pu smiled as she remembered how she beat all of them almost to a bloody pulp.
As her afternoon thoughts persisted, she never noticed the sun setting over the Sea of Japan (East Sea) or any of the other sights of Tokyo. She only had eyes for the object of her ire. A smallish, red-headed little bitch that turned her best day into a freaking nightmare.
"Instead of the kiss of death, I should have bitten her fucking head off. I am not sure how village would react but Xian Pu would feel better if bitch were dead." Thought Xian Pu.
Others around her tried to clear away from her as her battle aura flared and nearly singed the little bit of hair a nearby older gentleman had on his head. The others hurried to get off the bus, despite not being their final destinations, they felt living was better than getting there on time.
Xian Pu hardly noticed the bus emptying as she sat in thought. About 15 minutes later the driver called out "Central Tokyo, District of Nerima." Examining her itinerary, she picked up her bag and slung it onto her shoulder. She then looked around and saw that she was alone on the bus.
"Where people go." Thought Xian Pu looking around the bus as she walked to the front. "No matter, must have fallen asleep and never saw them leave." Xian Pu stated as she waited for the bus to pull into the terminal.
After retrieving her bag, she looked up and noticed the terminal clock showed 18:14, "Dinner time, this should be a good time to pay her a visit." Xian Pu pulled her backpack in front of her and looked at the assortment of weapons she had brought to bring the red-headed girl to her demise.
"I should be done in minutes. Xian Pu hungry." She looked around and found a noodle shop, using her broken Japanese was able to order some food to carry her over until she confronted her enemy.
********** Tendo House **********
Ryoga walked into the dining room and looked at the people that were assembled. Soun, Genma, Nabiki all watched as the new arrival stood before them. He calmly bowed, "I am Ryoga Hibiki. Glad to make your acquaintances. Mr. Saotome I know from back home." Finished Ryoga.
Soun and Nabiki returned the bow, Soun gestured to the other side of the table. "Please join us for dinner, we have plenty."
Ryoga rubbing the back of his head smiled, "I was told that by the young women that had answered the door."
"What brings you to our home, Ryoga?" asked Soun
"I am wondering that myself." Thought Sakura. Akane and Ranma absently shook their heads in agreement.
"I am actually here to talk with Ranma. We have some business from back home I wanted to speak to him about." Ryoga sheepishly mentioned.
"If I am remembering correctly, the last time he wanted to speak to me, my head was almost smashed in." thought Ranma.
"I seem to remember the same thing, what about you Akane?" asked Sakura through her thoughts.
Akane continued nodding her head as she thought back to a few days before when she had first seen Ryoga at high school.
"Would you be able to handle this business after dinner?" asked Soun as Kasumi placed the dishes loaded with food onto the table in front of them.
"Yes sir, we can definitely conduct it once dinner has been completed." Smiled Ryoga.
Ranma, Akane and Sakura looked from the scene in front of them to each other, and were wondering if they should move and avoid the lightning strike they were expecting to hit Ryoga any second now.
Moments passed without the lightning making its presence. Akane, Ranma, and Sakura approached the table and took their usual positions around the table. After prayer, they all began eating in earnest.
About 20 minutes later, all had been sated with the excellent food prepared by Kasumi. Each of the Tendos, Saotomes and Hibiki pushed from the table, indicating they had finished eating and were quite satisfied.
Soun and Genma each reached in their gis or pants and removed a pipe and lit up and began smoking. Each of the teens stretched and walked over to the doorway overlooking the garden and sat down as the parents continued smoking and talking.
"Ryoga?" called Ranma.
"Yes Ranma." Answered Ryoga.
"Would you please come into the dojo, so we can conduct this business you had expressed earlier?" asked Ranma.
Ryoga nodded and stood. Akane and Sakura also stood and followed both the guys into the dojo.
Ranma entered the dojo and turned and waited for the rest of the group to enter. "Do you think he'll do something stupid Ranma?" Sakura thought to both Ranma and Akane.
"I can almost guarantee that he will." Thought Ranma.
"He had better not, this is not his place and I will not see this place destroyed." Thought Akane.
"Unless you're the one doing it right Akane?" thought Sakura.
Ranma watched as Akane turned a look that she had used on him during their talk. "I am so glad that was not directed at me." Thought Ranma.
"The night is still young Ranma." Thought Akane.
Ranma was caught off guard, he had forgotten he had thought that instead of saying it.
"Sorry." Stated Ranma out loud.
"I accept your apology for running out on my challenge" chimed Ryoga standing near the center of the dojo watching everyone that entered.
"What the fu –" started Ranma in his mind.
"RANMA! Don't say anything let him finish, this might actually end better than expected. Hear him out." Thought Sakura.
"It takes a real man to admit when they are wrong and apologize, thanks for that." Began Ryoga.
Ranma visibly stared at Ryoga as he continued his speech.
"It also makes you less of a man for running out on my challenge. However, the apology gives you points for at least admitting your fault. So, I will consider us even, for now until your make another mistake." Concluded Ryoga.
"Please close your mouth you look like a carp." Sakura thought quickly.
Ranma did not seem to have heard her. Akane walked over and reached up and closed his mouth. Akane noticed he was visibly shaking and his fists were clenched.
Sakura seeing this, also walked over to Ranma and with Akane led him from the Dojo and into the garden.
"Did you hear the gall of that eternally lost, narrow-minded egotistical son of a bitch? He thinks I apologized to him for running out on that challenge."
"Oh boy." Thought Sakura.
"What Sakura." Thought Akane.
"Here we go again. He's going to explain what happened." Sakura sighed.
Akane turned back to Ranma as he continued his soliloquy "Sakura knows I spent three days waiting for that waste of space, he never showed and when the school year ended, Pop, Sakura and I left for China. "That bastard thinks I am admitting fault, I ought to show that –" Ranma was quickly cut off by Genma throwing water on him and triggering not only his change but his daughters as well.
"What the hell, did you do that for, old man?" sneered female Ranma.
"You were ranting and carrying on like a girl so I figured that was my cue to make it right by you." Genma concluded.
"I am not ranting like a girl and this is really none of your business." Ranma stated quickly flipping Genma over his shoulder. Genma easily turned in midair only to realize he was now over the koi pond.
"Damn" was written on the sign he held when he emerged from the water now in panda form.
Ranma was still fuming despite the gender change and interruption he had just dealt with. Sakura watched as her father walked back into the house via the door to the sitting room overlooking the garden.
The group was interrupted again when someone yelled out to them. Ranma quickly reacted and moved from his position to another position as a Jian just missed skewering him and imbedded into the ground.
Akane, Mayuka once she landed, Teyo, Ryoga, Soun and Genma-Panda all watched as a young teenaged girl with purple hair dropped beside the Jian and tried to pull it out of the ground.
After a few tugs while keeping her eyes on Mayuka, she finally removed the Jian from the hole she had created. "You I kill." Xian Pu stated pointing the spear at Mayuka.
Everyone quickly turned and faced Mayuka. Mayuka seeing who was now holding the spear stood straight up, and being a girl, it didn't take her long. "Xian Pu, is that your name. I think I remember you from China." Mayuka began smiling.
Xian Pu put the Jian back into it's sheath, as Mayuka continued. "I seem to remember you won a tournament, I never got to congratulate you for winning it."
Teyo and Akane began shaking their heads as Mayuka continued digging the hole deeper. "Congratulations on being the best warrior in your village." Concluded Mayuka as she walked closer and extending her hand.
Xian Pu's eyes narrowed as Mayuka drew closer. Instead of reaching for her outstretched hand, she instead pulled a knife and slashed it towards her neck. Sensing danger Mayuka immediately vaulted onto the fence bordering the house and watched as Xian Pu turned from where Mayuka used to be, to where she currently was.
"You coward, not fight fair." Exclaimed Xian Pu stowing the knife.
"Fair, you are the one that tried to kill me a moment ago using the element of surprise. You are just as delusional as the lost boy over there." Indicated Ranma pointing to the dojo at Ryoga.
Ryoga instantly bristled and jumped from the dojo and charged Ranma. "There's the mistake I was expecting."
Seeing Ryoga charging Mayuka leapt from the fence and landed between them. "Ranma you will die." Screamed Ryoga launching himself fist-first towards Mayuka.
She waited until the last moment before leaping back into the air in the direction of the dojo. Ryoga not able to stop his momentum was now heading straight for the Amazon.
Xian Pu quickly sidestepped the Lost Boy and pushed him away from her causing him to trip and fall flat on his face after skidding a few feet.
Mayuka landed, turned, and ran back into the house. "Get me some hot water quickly sis." Mayuka quickly thought.
Hearing the desperation in her voice, both Teyo and Akane quickly ran into the house and entered the kitchen. Kasumi was removing the kettle from the burner and suddenly realized she no longer had it in her hand. As Akane entered the kitchen, she quickly told her sister, "Arigato Oneechan.," as she followed Teyo back down the hallway.
Teyo met Mayuka in the hall and poured the water over her head triggering their transformations. Ranma now shook his wet hair and ran back out into the yard just as Ryoga having faceplanted into the ground came up with sod and dirt on his face as well as in his mouth.
He also met a very irate Xian Pu trying to enter house, he quickly ducked down, focused his chi and punched her chest and stomach causing her to fall to the floor just outside of the dojo entrance and losing her wind.
"Holy shit" Not expecting someone to surprise her like that embarrassed the Amazon. She looked up and saw that a tall handsome young man was the one to knock her down. Her demeanor changed instantly.
Slowly she stood and placed a kiss on the tall strangers cheek. Akane and Sakura saw when Ranma floored the Amazon and when she planted the kiss on Ranma's cheek.
The look of surprise was evident on his face. Akane seeing this was furious. "How could you do that." Yelled Akane bringing her mallet into existence.
She ran towards the surprised Ranma and distracted Xian Pu. Seeing her, Ranma immediately covered his head. It was to no avail. Akane leapt over him and tried to bash the head of the intruder.
Xian Pu quickly gathered her wits and leapt from the mallet as a divot the size of the mallet appeared where she used to be. "I no want to hurt blue-haired bimbo." Mentioned Xian Pu leaping for the fence before disappearing into the night.
"Come back and fight you bitch." Called Akane still hefting her mallet. Sakura, and Ranma were by her side in an instant when they realized that she was not returning to continue the fight.
"What the hell just happened?" asked Soun as he looked over the scene that nearly destroyed his dojo and garden.
Sakura, and Ranma both looked from Soun to Genma, as the panda tried to slink away again. He was blocked from leaving the room by Nabiki and Kasumi, they were both tapping their feet and had their arms crossed.
Ryoga watching everything had to get the dirt out of his mouth and off his face. He knew that if he used the water in the koi pond, they would see his transformation. He didn't want that.
Therefore, he gathered his bag from the entrance to the house and quickly leapt over the fence and left the house. He did, however, bow and yelled for everyone to hear, "Dinner was great but I have to take my leave of you. Thank you for welcoming me. Ranma we will meet again."
Ranma, Sakura and Akane watched as the lost boy thanked the family for their hospitality but at the same time was again angry with Ranma. "Why does this shit keep happening to me." Exclaimed Ranma.
"I would guess because we are related to that dumbass panda over there." Offered Sakura pointing at their hapless and cornered father.
Seconds later Panda could be seen lying on his back playing with a beach ball. Next to him was a sign that read, "I'm just a cute harmless panda"
Ranma and Sakura sighed loudly turning away from the delusional panda and back to the carnage of the garden. "It could have been worse," began Ranma.
"How?" asked a surprised Sakura.
"She could have actually made it into the house, could you imagine what kind of damage she could have caused had she made it in?
"I agree with Ranma." Added Akane.
The rest of the gathered family felt relieved that the damage was only in the garden and not in the house. "For once Ranma, I also agree with you." Piped in Nabiki writing some things down on her notepad.
********** Just outside of the Ward of Nerima **********
"I think guy broke rib." Xian Pu stated as she tried to take a deep breath. "Xian Pu nearly lose lunch." The Amazon thought as she walked to the park with her bag that contained her weapons and her changes of clothes.
"He hit very hard. I no see coming. Oh well, it turned out good. Came to kill redhead bitch and instead get Airen. Xian Pu make up for not kill the bitch." Laughed Xian Pu.
"Next time Xian Pu no miss." Smiled Xian Pu and instantly winced because of her ribs. "However, now have to make tonic for pain and maybe see doctor." Groaned Xian Pu packing her gear before leaving the park for the hotel she would be staying at until she healed.
"I knew he couldn't let bygones be bygones. He had to insult me in front of the whole family and the lady that attacked Ranma." Thought Ryoga as he was walking in a direction he would not remember.
"Dinner was great, that young woman everyone called Akane was downright beautiful. The warrior chick was hot too," Thought Ryoga.
"When I come back tomorrow, I just might formally introduce myself to the one called Akane." Smiled Ryoga.
Soun and Nabiki looked around to see if there was any other damage they had to foot the bill for. Kasumi returned to the dining room and began to clean up.
Akane, Mayuka and Teyo walked back inside and waited until the water Akane had put on was hot so they could have some tea.
"Are you angry with me Akane?" asked Ranma.
Ranma watched as Akane looked from him to the garden. He noticed she was looking at both the holes. One was created by Xian Pu, and the other made by her mallet. "No, I am not Ranma. I saw what had happened. You never kissed her back. I just have one question."
Ranma had a puzzled look on his face. Akane read the expression as Ranma not having any idea what she was going to ask him.
Nabiki chimed in, "I might have an answer to your question Imouto."
Everyone stopped mid-action and listened to Nabiki as she pulled out a small book.
"Ranma?" asked Nabiki looking from the book to the martial artist. Seeing the look on his face she quickly continued.
Ranma raised his eyebrows as he stared at Nabiki.
"What kind of woman was that that just attacked you?" asked Nabiki looking at the index of the book.
"I believe she is from a tribe of Amazons. We heard there were some in the area of Jusenkyo. Why?" asked Ranma.
"She came here to kill you. Did you beat her in a fight or something?"
"As a matter of fact, I punched her when she attacked me when I was there. Afterwards she kissed me on the cheek and stated she will find me and kill me, the next time she sees me." Remembered Ranma.
"Okay, that makes some sense now. A few moments ago, you were a guy when you punched her again correct?" asked Nabiki.
"I was a guy when I prevented her from entering the house to destroy it trying to get to me." Added Ranma.
Nabiki read for a few more moments before looking from the book and looking at Ranma. She also saw that everyone else was hanging on her every word.
"You are all lucky I am not charging for this information. Back to the Amazon girl that tried to kill you. When you beat her as a guy, she kissed you again on the cheek?" asked Nabiki.
"Yes she did, Akane can attest to the fact that I didn't kiss her back." Countered Ranma.
"Your good Ranma, I am not concerned about the kiss, since I saw the whole thing." Answered Akane tapping him on the arm.
Nabiki watched their exchange before clearing her throat and getting their attention like she had it before the interruption. "At the village you were a girl when you beat her, however, just now you were a boy when you beat her. Correct?" asked Nabiki.
Ranma listened and nodded yes to both questions. Understanding showed on Sakura's face when she realized where Nabiki was going with this.
"Are you about to say that Ranma beating her as a girl brought about the first kiss, and him beating her again just a bit ago as a guy brought about another kiss?
Nabiki smiled as she shook her head. "However, each kiss brings about a different consequence. When kissed as a girl it is called the Kiss of Death and the second, the Kiss of Marriage." Remarked Nabiki closing the book from which she was reading.
Ranma blanched as Nabiki finished reading. Akane flared as her battle aura nearly singed not only the people near her but a small bit of the grass surrounding her. Nabiki again picked up her notebook and started writing.
Sakura patted Akane's back as she tried to not only soothe her friend but prevent a fire in the garden. After a few seconds she calmed down. Everyone watched as her aura diminished in size and intensity.
"Are you telling me she is trying to kill my girl side and marry my male side? Asked Ranma.
Nabiki, Soun, and Genma-Panda all nodded. While the others had surprised expression on their faces. "What do you think would happen if she found out I was both of them?"
"She'll probably kill you just because and then she'll mourn because she had to kill her intended husband." Nabiki stated.
Ranma paled since he really didn't like either, since neither of them worked in his favor. Sakura pondered his predicament while Akane began seething again and the aura started to increase.
She was interrupted as a pail of water was thrown on her not only extinguishing the aura but giving her something else to think about.
Surprised by the water she quickly shook the water out of her eyes, turned and noticed a bucket on the living room porch doorway and no one else was around for her to murder.
Ranma noticed that Akane's clothes clung to her body but he didn't say a word because he didn't want to die. Ranma thought.
Abruptly Akane turned and faced him. She stood, walked, and grabbed him by the shirt and pulled him in the house.
Sakura held her nose as her brother was being pulled into the house by his fiancé. "He is a dumbass." Said Sakura.
"What happened Sakura? Why is my sister looking like she is about to murder your brother?" Asked a confused Nabiki.
"Let's just say my brother can't keep his mouth or mind shut." as she walked back into the house. Nabiki, not understanding just watched as Sakura went inside.
"Am I missing something?" Asked Nabiki as she looked towards the house and saw her father and the panda peeking out to see if the coast was clear.
The panda was holding a sign that had "Obviously!" written on it.
"Akane, why do I feel like I should be talking to my next of kin?" asked Ranma as he walked with Akane up the stairs.
"One, the panda should not inherit anything because he's an idiot. Two, you should not think anything to Sakura because this is you/me time. Three, I am not going to kill you, I saw what had happened." Mentioned Akane pulling him into her room and closing the door. Just before entering the room, Ranma saw that Akane turned the duck on her door around. The other side read do not disturb.
He could only wonder what was about to happen once they were inside. Akane released his hand and walked over to the bed.
Ranma watched as Akane pulled her mattress from the bed and placed it on the floor. He watched as she took a few moments to place pillows onto mattress as well.
When Akane finished what she had been doing, she walked over to the closet. Ranma was puzzled the whole time because Akane didn't make a sound as she worked.
Before he could ask or think anything she quickly dashed over and placed her hand onto his head and vigorously shook her head.
Ranma remembered she didn't want him thinking about anything. "Just observe and no talking." Reminded a smiling Akane.
She calmly turned and walked to the closet.
Ranma watched as Akane pulled out a very flimsy nightgown. "I wonder-" began Ranma before switching to verbal. "—if I can see through that." Finished Ranma.
When he finished, he blanched and realized that he not only started to think that but also said it out loud and Akane was in the room with him.
He then heard an answer in his head. "Wonder what bro? If it's about Akane killing you for what happened, I have no idea." Sakura answered.
"No sis, just something came to mind, everything is alright and no, she is not going to kill me, she said so herself." Thought back Ranma.
"Okay, I'm going to the store with Nabiki, she needs to get some stuff for you and me to help repair the damage that was caused. See you in a bit." Intoned Sakura.
"No problem, bye sis." Concluded Ranma.
Looking down he saw that Akane had been standing in front of him holding the nightgown and listening as they had been talking.
"Can you please lock the door? This is our private time and I don't want any interruptions." Asked Akane.
"Sure, thing Akane. He reached back and turned the lock. Once clicked he turned back to Akane.
Without thinking about it, Akane untied her Kansai collar and let it fall to the floor. She then pulled her blouse from her skirt and pulled it over her head also placing it on the floor.
Ranma watched in bewilderment as she continued to undress in front of him. He dared not think a thing.
She then pulled her skirt around and unhooked the clasp removing the skirt. She then folded the skirt and placed it next to the rest of her clothes.
Ranma watched as she stood before him in her underwear and bra. She then picked up the nightgown from Ranma's shoulder.
"How did that get there?" he asked.
Akane smiled as she handed the nightgown to Ranma and lifted her arms. Noticing her motions, he placed the nightgown over her head and watched as it cascaded down her chest and settled around her hips a few inches below were underwear. Underwear he could clearly see through the sheer material.
"Does this answer your question, Konyakusha?" asked a smiling Akane.
Ranma nodded his head. Akane waited a few more moments as she allowed him to admire her figure for a few moments longer.
As he had been admiring Akane she walked over and slowly reached for his belt and pulled his t-shirt out of his pants and over his head. Absently, he raised his arms and allowed his shirt to be removed.
She dropped the shirt alongside the rest of her clothes that were next to the mattress. She then reached forward again and untied his pants and pulled them to the floor. Ranma instinctively covered himself despite wearing boxers like he always did.
Akane softly smiled but then took his hand and pulled him towards the mattress. Ranma watched as she laid down and placed a pillow under her head and patted the space next to her.
He raised an eyebrow as she was getting comfortable. Akane quickly nodded her head and pointed to her mouth and said. "Out loud, don't think."
Ranma shook his head and kneeled down on the mattress. A moment later he had laid down next to Akane. She moved over and placed her head onto his chest like they had been in the dojo.
She looked up to him and saw him watching her. He smiled as Akane was getting comfortable on his chest. He felt her picking up his hand and taking it under her nightgown.
He almost removed his hand but Akane would not allow him to remove his hand from hers. "All's fair in love and war and we are not at war." Smiled Akane as she felt his hand touching her bra.
