November 8th

And the 46th President of the United States is...Joe Biden! Honestly, it's been quite a long and stressful race, but in the end, it was worth it. Our family and all of America may be divided, but the votes are in and counted for fairly and now we have a new leader for our country.

Sorry if you're a Trump supporter, but Hayley, Jeff, Steve and I are just so relieved that this is all over and we, as a nation, after four years, we are going to get a sane president for the country and not have to deal with the orange boss baby anymore after January 20th of next year. We all celebrated with wine, except Steve (Roger and the rest of the family had some too even though they weren't happy with the results, but screw them on what they think). The voters in our fam that all voted for him listened to his and Kamala's speeches last night.

Trump and his supporters aren't happy and disappointed (which was expected). Trump is even planning on going to court over this and demand to recount the legal votes and leave out the 'illegal' votes. Sigh, he is such a sore loser. He can't accept anything that puts him in a negative light. That's why I and many others like Joe better. If he lost, I bet he would've accepted it and moved on.

Even during the election, the child in a grown man's body tried to tell the people to 'stop the counts.' I'm sorry, what? Every vote counts! If they would've listened to him, it wouldn't have been fair for Biden, Harris, or the rest of America who's states haven't been counted yet. If he won, it'll be like awarding a child for bad behavior. Ugh, he just irritates me sometimes! This is why a child isn't allowed to become president of our country.

I think how he handled the whole ongoing Covid situation may of damaged his reputation with the American people even more. That and his remarks during the election. And maybe the first debate, which was like little kids fighting instead of two grown men in their seventies having a presidential debate. What an embarrassment and a headache that was!

Joe will be 78 when he is sworn in, which will make him the oldest president that America ever had. Kamala will be the first female, the first Asian-American and African-American Vice President. Her husband will be the first second gentlemen and he's Jewish. What a lot of firsts!

Steve was leaning more towards Biden, but with his parents talking to him and his friends about Trump, really stressed him out. Poor kid! Good thing he isn't old enough to vote, otherwise he'd be a total mess! Luckily, he stayed on the side of good and didn't venture into the dark side.

Despite what Trump and his supporters say, for now, the election is over and Biden is going to be president (otherwise this blog will be really awkward). And I'm sorry, but I'm not going to do the DNC blog anymore, because the sooner we forget this mess, the better. Plus, you already know my feelings about Trump and his party so it'll be like rehashing.

So, congrats again Biden and his whole team. Congrats America on making a good choice this time. Hopefully, Trump won't run in 2024 or get very far and this is the last time we'll hear about him. Anyways, because you, Biden and Harris, because you showed true sportsmanship and actually listened closely to medical experts, you guys really deserve this victory. Like Biden said, we all shouldn't see the red or blue states, but the United States!
